Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_7.7 – Show results Day 2

Hello fans and welcome to day 2 of the Donnie B Wrestle show spectacular. Lets get right to the news.

The first event of the day is the battle royal. The winner of the battle royal will get a title shot. One thing was changed though. Depending on your ranking (3, 4, or 5) will determine what belt you can challenge for. The 3 wrestlers can challenge for the X-division and TV titles; the 4 wrestlers can challenge for the X-division, North American and IC belts and the 5 wrestlers can challenge for any title they wish. In the CSWA, the 3 wrestlers get to go after the Cruiserweight and TV title, the 4’s and 5’s go after the TV, US or Heavyweight titles. There can be one winner from the CSWA and one from the HWF provided there is one person left from each group as the final 2 men in the ring. There are two men who were not allowed into the battle royal: Edge and Shawn Michaels. Michaels complained enough and the agreed to let him, but not Edge in.
The eliminations were as follows: Chris Jericho by Jeff Hardy; Khali by Carlito (and Undertaker and Angle); Donnie B by Charlie Haas; Jeff Hardy by the Big Show; Santino by the Negronomicon (at this point, Negronomicon went out between the ropes as to not get counted out and got a drink of water); Booker T by AJ Styles; Kane by HHH; Cody Rhodes by CM Punk; Rey Mysterio by John Morrison; Big Show by Randy Orton; Undertaker by AJ Styles; Foley by Bubba Dudley; Sting by Bubba Dudley; Scott Steiner by Carlito; Shawn Michaels (he was in no shape to particpate but wanted in anyway) by MW3; Kurt Angle by the Hurricane; Randy Orton by Christian; Rick Steiner by the Hurricane; John Morrison by Jay Lethal; AJ Styles by Bubba Dudley; Lashley by Shad; HHH by Shelton Benjamin; MVP by Abyss; John Cena by Charlie Haas; CM Punk by Christian (Cena held the rope down and the two brawled to the back); Tommy Dreamer by Christian; the Bruiser by Jay Lethal (Dreamer held the the rope down and the refs had to break up the brawling); Carlito by Elijah Burke; (at this point the Negronomicon got back in the ring) Abyss by Elijah Burke; Mark Henry by the Negronomicon; Shelton Benjamin by JTG; Devon Dudley by Elijah Burke; Shad by JTG; Batista by the Negronomicon; Christian by the Super Warrior; The Warrior Killer by Charlie Haas (with an assist from the Super Warrior); Elijah Burke by Jay Lethal; Lethal byt the Negronomicon; Dibiasi by the Hurricane; JTG by Bubba Dudley; Jeff Jarrett by MW3; Christopher Daniels by Bubba Dudley; the Super Warrior by the Negronomicon; the Hurricane by MW3; MW3 by the Negronomicon; and Charlie Haas by the Negronomicon. N said something to Haas and he went over the top rope and walked to the back. The final two men in the ring are Bubba Dudley and the Negronomicon. Negronomicon gets a shot at either the X-division or TV title and Bubby Ray gets his choice of the US, TV or World title. He chooses the World title. Negronomicon will go after either the X-division title or North American Title. Negronomicon got on the mic “As I promised, I have a few announcements to make actually. First, I challenge the winner between Foley and Sting for the North American title. Next, from now on, in all tag matches, it is no longer required that your partner be out of the ring after a double team before you can go for a submission or pin attempt. The most important rule I am re-instating is that going forward, we will be re-creating the top 10 for all the wrestlers in the HWF. The IC champion WILL be the #1 contender for the World Title, the North American champion for the IC title and the X-Division champion for the NA title. This will ensure all champions get the matches they deserve as being a title holder. You must be a defending champion or you lose your #1 spot and that would go to the new champion if one is crowned.

In the back, Donnie B was talking with the Super Warrior. DB was retelling a story involving the Warrior Killer and a serrano pepper. Despite the change in management and the mood backstage, both men had a good laugh.

First up is the rematch between the Warrior Killer and the Super Warrior. This is to be an I Quit match for the rights to the name of Warrior. SW entered first followed by WK. Just as soon as the bell rang, SW shoved a serrano pepper down the throat of the Warrior Killer. He had no place to go and tears were streaming down his face. He screamed at the top of his lungs “I QUIT! NOW GIVE ME SOME BREAD AND MILK!!!” The Super Warrior retains his name and identity. Warrior Killer leaves in disgrace.

Our next match up is Tommy Dreamer vs the Bruiser. Dreamer took the lead early but the Bruiser in his first match was having an impressive outing. Dreamer was setting the pace of the match and his opponent was hanging right in there. The Bruiser tossed Dreamer to the outside a couple of times but Dreamer made it back in with plenty of time to spare. Finally it was Dreamer’s turn to toss the Bruiser to the outside of the ring. He followed him out and ran him into the ringpost. He then grabbed a pair of handcuffs that were under the ring and handcuffed his opponent to the post. Dreamer rolled back into the ring and sat in the far corner while the helpless ref had to make the count. The Bruiser gets counted out in his first outing. Dreamer then took his singapore cane and whipped the helpless Bruiser with it. Dreamer ended up breaking it over the head of the Bruiser. He walked away with a smirk on his face. The suits from the back finally came down and removed the handcuffs and helped the Bruiser to the back. He did get a standing ovation from the fans.

The next match that was scheduled was Rhodes and Dibiasi taking on the Steiners. Scott came out first and complained about the Dudley’s getting a title match while the Steiners are having to fight nobodys. Rick joined him in the ring and then Cody and Ted Jr. made their way to the ring. This didn’t go long as expected. It only took the team of the Steiners 5 minutes to wipe the mat with their opponents. Rhodes never made it into the ring and Dibiasi took the brunt of the beating and humiliation from the Steiners.

Scott got back on the mic and said they were officially challenging the winner of the next match.
Newly crowned Tag Team Champions Cryme Tyme took on the Dudleys. Right off the bat, Bubba puts Shad through a table and went for a pin but Shad kicked out. JTG tags in and is on the receiving end of a double team. Bubba hits a DDT and Devon hits a flying headbutt. He goes for the pin (allowed under the rule change) but Shad makes the save. JTG and Bubba both tag in. Bubba hits an elbow drop and makes the cover but Shad is back in for the save. Bubba hits a DDT on Shad but Shad hits a crippling piledriver on Bubba but gets 2 after a pin attempt. Devon is in and now so is Bubba. Devon hits a knee to the gut and Bubba tosses him out of the ring. Shad makes it back in. Devon’s head is introduced to a turnbuckle and JTG is in. Both Dudleys in the ring for a double team. Bubba chops JTG in the chest and Devon hits a superplex. They go for the pin but JTG kicks out. Bubba hits a Bubba Bomb but JTG locks in a sleeperhold. Bubba makes it to the ropes and tags out. JTG puts Devon in a spinning toe hold but he makes it to the ropes. Another double team by the Dudley’s and a pin attempt on Shad but JTG makes the save. Another double team by the DTudley’s and a Bubba Bomb. Bubba makes the cover as Devon takes out JTG. The ref counts 1….2…3. We have NEW TAG TEAM Champions again after a 29 minute hard-fought fight. The Steiners hit the ring and attack the Dudleys. They hit the Doomsday on Bubba and Devon gets put through a table. The Steiners pose with the belts before dropping them and leaving the carnage behind.

Santino vs MVP is next with the Cruiserweight title on the line. A few months back, Santino stole the Cruiserweight title from MVP so this is a bit of revenge for the former champion. The match stayed pretty even until out of nowhere, MVP connects with a superkick that made one of Santino’s shoes fall off. MVP made the cover and got the 1-2-3. MVP has regained the CSWA Cruiserweight title.

Our cross promotional match betwee Abyss vs Big Show is next. Show starts off with a chokeslam on Abyss and Abyss gets back up and hits one of his own. It was funny to see Abyss hit a big foot to face and then Show doing the same. A lot of their moves mirrored each other. Big Show gets the win after catching Abyss in a bearhug and dropped him to cover him for the pin. I think these two guys, if they could work together, could make a run after the tag team titles.

Our next match is Lashley vs Orton. This match was changed to a no count-out or DQ match. The winner of this match gets a shot at the TV title held by Batista. Lashley was really on top of his game. I don’t Randy was expecting this from his challenger. Bobby and Randy had a pretty even match but eventually the power of Lashley as well as a super powerslam proved to be too much. Bobby gets the win and a future title shot against Batista.

Next on the card is Foley vs Sting for the North American title. Foley was in his Cactus Jack attire and tried to hardcore on the legend but Sting proved to be too much. Foley ended up tossing Sting out of the ring when the Negronomicon came out and started walking towards ringside. Sting was confused and was distracted just long enough to get counted out. Mick Foley retains the North American Title. Negronomicon got in the ring and said he wanted his match right now against Foley.

Negronomicon got his match against Foley. Negronomicon was ready for everything Foley could come up except for the “bang-bang” piledriver. Foley had Negronomicon covered but somehow he got his foot on the rope at the very last second. Foley picked him up but Negronomicon must have been playing possum as he nails Foley with the Black Doom and with his feet on the ropes, (the ref clearly saw it but did nothing) he got the 1-2-3 and becomes the NEW NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION. After the ref raised the Negronomicon’s hand, N promptly told Foley his services were no longer required or wanted in the HWF. He was giving Foley the option to walk away or be fired. Foley said he didn’t have any option so he walked away.

CM Punk vs John Cena is next on the card. You could tell Punk was not wanting to be in this match. Cena outpowered his opponent every chance he got. He went for numerous pin attempts but Punk was able to kick out. Finally, Punk got tired of getting his butt kicked so at the 10 minute mark, Punk left the ring. He didn’t even care about getting counted out. Cena wins the match by CO but he still wants Punk. Maybe Regal will see fit to give him another match soon.

Our second to last match of the night is Booker T vs Chris Jericho for the US Heavyweight Title. Jericho has a great opponent in Booker T. The former World Champion really held his own against the US champ. Jericho managed to get Booker in the Walls of Jericho but Booker powered out of it. Jericho got tossed out of the ring a few times but managed to get back in the ring in time to stop the count. Jericho hit Booker with a flying forearm but it didn’t seem to phase the Booker-man. After a spinning smash disoriented Jericho, Booker connected with the Bookend and the 1-2-3. Booker T is the NEW US Heavyweight champion.

Our final match of the night Khali vs Angle vs Undertaker for the Undisputed Championship. Angle and Khali teamed up to double-team the Undertaker. They tossed Undertaker out of the ring and threw him into the stairs. Undertaker was not able to answer the 10 count so he gets counted out and this match becomes 1 on 1. Khali turns on Angle before Kurt could turn on him and Khali used his size to dominate the former olympic champ. Kurt slowly took the advantage from Khali and outwrestled his opponent. Kurt hit a very impressive belly to belly suplex on Khali and made the cover…1….2….3. Kurt remains the Undisputed Champion.

After the match ended, the Negronomicon came out. He said there were some announcements that need to be made so he calls out William Regal and CSWA owner Jeff Meyers to join him in the ring. Both men came out and got into the ring. Jeff Meyers said he only had two announcements and then would leave the floor to the Negronomicon. He was picking up the contract of Mick Foley and bringing him to the CSWA. Negronomicon asked why but Mr. Meyers just continued. The other announcemenit is that Abyss and Show are a new tag team. Big Show is traded to CSWA in exchange for John Cena.

The Bruiser asks to be traded so he can continue his feud with Dreamer. He is traded for Stevie Richards.

Negronomicon doesn’t want to deal with the headache of Samoa Joe so he sends him to CSWA in exchange for Rey Mysterio. Mysterio really didn’t want to be traded but was told by William Regal he didn’t have a say in the matter. N also added that for some reason, he likes Jeff Jarrett and brought him to the HWF in exchange for the defective Edge. Elijah Burke is traded for Santino; Super Warrior for Mike Knox. After much negotiating, Mysterio got his wish and was traded back to the CSWA but for a higher price. CSWA had to give up a tag team. Negronomicon took the team of Dibiasi and Rhodes because he says he can see the potential there. N then informed his roster that he needed to do some housecleaning. He called out Viscera and fired him. He also said that he wants to build up the tag division so he told the Hardy’s they were once again a tag team. And if you are part of a tag team, you do NOT persue singles titles. Neither Matt or Jeff were happy with that. He went on to say that for the next 30 days, he will be evaluating the roster and making any cuts he deems necessary.

With that, our show comes to an end. In the back Negronomicon runs into Donnie B. Donnie B says “Congratulations. The HWF and everything that goes with it, is yours. Oh, and by the way, since you are the owner and the one ultimately responsible for the HWF, here is the bill for the show. I’m sure you’ll figure out a way to pay for it.” Donnie B walks away and smirks. Negronomicon is standing there looking perplexed.
