Hello Fans and welcome to the first newsletter of the 2006 season. In this issue we will cover the "passing of the torch" - in other words, all of the champions will turn in their belts and they will then be awarded to the winners of the HWF and CSWA tournaments to crown new champions. In a ceremony that was held on New Years Eve, all of the champions from the HWF and CSWA were invited down to the ring by general managers Donnie B and Jeff Meyers. Since Donnie B was already in the ring, he placed his Light Heavyweight Championship into a velvet bag stating that he has given up the championship. The first person to come down to the ring was CSWA Cruiserweight Champion "The Texas Hammer" Jay Mack. Mack came down and handed over the title to Mr. Meyers. He then asked to speak a few words before leaving. "I was new to this business and in many ways, am still considered a rookie. I had some great matches here in the CSWA (cheap pop) and wrestled some tough competitors in my year here. It was with regret that at this time, I am officially resigning from active competition. I am proud that I was able to go out on top as a champion. I need this time off to get things situated and if the opportunity presents itself, I will be back. In the mean time, I will enjoy spending the time with my family and wish the fans and the competitors all my best. Thank You." The fans then gave him a standing ovation. Mack and Mr. Meyers shook hands and then Mack left the ring.
The next person to come down was the CSWA TV Champion AJ Styles. AJ Styles handed over his championship and was asked to remain in the ring. In fact, all wrestlers will remain in the ring after handing over their championships. Styles was followed by HWF North American Champion Sting, US Champion Kurt Angle (who had words with Sting after entering the ring), Intercontinental Champion Batista and then finally the combined World and Unified Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit. All of the competitors received standing ovations except for Angle and all he really got was "You Suck" chants. Angle left the ring. Chris Benoit will remain the Unified Heavyweight Champion and will be defending his title against the battle of the two (soon to come) world champions at the first PPV of the year.
CSWA has decided to let members of a tag team hold singles titles. This will only be allowed in that federation.
Edge and Gene Snitsky get world title shots at their respective champions.
RVD is out for an indefinite period of time. RVD was left out of the draft after being put on the DL by Jeff Jarrett and his guitar.
Two different battle royals then took place: one for the HWF and one for the CSWA. Two of the HWF highlighted eliminations were:
Negronomicon vs Shawn Michaels. Michaels went for the sweet chin music but N ducked, hit the Black Doom and got the pin in just under 30 seconds eliminating Michaels.
Donnie B vs Booker T was the longest elimination of the match going almost 10 minutes. Donnie B won after Booker was back body-dropped over the top rope.
All the competitors were eliminated until only the last 8 men stood in the ring. They were then paired off for individual matches to see who would go on to become the World, Intercontinental, North American and X Division Champions. The final 8 men were:
Undertaker
Bobby Lashley
Christopher Daniels
Rey Mysterio Jr
Matt Hardy
Donnie B
Jeff Jarrett
Val Venis
1st Round:
Undertaker advanced over Bobby Lashley via pin
Christopher Daniels pinned Rey Mysterio Jr
Donnie B pinned Matt Hardy
Jeff Jarrett defeated Val Venis
2nd Round:
Undertaker advanced over Daniels via CO
Jeff Jarrett pinned Donnie B
3rd Round:
Donnie B defeats Christopher Daniels to become the NEW North American Champion; Christopher Daniels is the NEW X Division Champion.
4th Round:
Undertaker pins Jeff Jarrett to become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion; Jarrett is the Intercontinental Champion and he was pissed off.
In the CSWA, the final 8 standing were:
Raven
Edge
Chris Masters
Batista
William Regal
Big Show
JBL
Kurt Angle
1st Round:
In keeping with their feud, Edge and Raven met in the first round of the final 8 tournament. Edge won in 2 minutes with the DDT and his feet on the ropes.
Batista easily defeated Chris Masters
Big Show advanced over William Regal due to a countout
Kurt Angle def JBL with the Angle Slam
We were then notified that since none of the final competitors could hold the Cruiserweight Title, a mini tournament was quickly held.
Hurricane def. Super Warrior
Shannon Moore def. Paul London
Hurricane def. Shannon Moore to become the NEW Cruiserweight Champion.
Round 2:
Edge defeated Batista via countout.
Kurt Angle def. Big Show
Round 3:
Big Show def. Batista to become the NEW TV Champion
Round 4:
Kurt Angle defeats Edge to become the NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. Edge was awarded the US title. Raven interfered in the match causing Edge to fall victim to the Angle Slam. Edge swore revenge on Raven for costing him the match.
The Champions are as follows:
CSWA
Edge is US Champion
Hurricane is Cruiserweight Champion
Big Show is TV Champion
Kurt Angle is the World Champion
HWF
Donnie B is the North American Champion
Christopher Daniels is X Division Champion
Jeff Jarrett is the Intercontinental Champion
Undertaker is the World Heavyweight Champion
Finally, the tag team tournament was held. Only 2 permanent tag teams were allowed from each federation and the others were randomly created.
HWF
Booker T / AJ Styles
The Dudley Boyz
3 Minute Warning w/Eric Bischoff
MW3 / Shelton Benjamin
CSWA
Edge / Christian
Hardcore Holly / William Regal
Billy Gunn / Super Warrior
Big Show / Kane
Round 1:
AJ Styles and Booker T advanced over Edge & Christian. Edge and Christian had words and saw Edge leave in a huff (or maybe it was a minute and a huff)
William Regal and Hardcore Holly advanced over the Dudley Boyz in a very embarrassing match (for the Dudleys)
In the longest match of the night (almost an hour) Super Warrior and Billy Bitch Face Gunn defeated 3 Minute Warning with Eric Bischoff. Bischoff kept making the save for his team until SW tossed Bischoff into the audience.
Big Show and Kane defeated the team of MW3 and Benjamin. MW3 and Shelton really held their own until Negronomicon came down and started beating on MW3. He then delivered the Black Doom on the metal ramp and was not able to make it back to save his partner.
Round 2:
Hardcore Holly and William Regal defeated Booker T and AJ Styles. At one point in the match, Booker got injured and was out for 10 minutes. AJ held his own until his partner was well enough to make it back into the ring. Unfortunately, he wasn't really ready and fell victim to the 1-2-3.
Big Show and Kane defeated Billy and SW. Billy had words with SW and then gave him the Fame-asser. SW got up and was actually cheered by the crowd. Super Warrior a Fan Favorite????? Who would ever have thunk it. We know that SW is not through with Mr. Ass so I am sure we will see something surface soon.
Round 3:
In a very surprising match, Big Show and Kane squeaked by with a win over Regal and Holly to become the 1st ever Undisputed Tag Team Champions. Regal and Holly already have a bid in for a future title shot. Based on the performance of the HWF wrestlers, I think the tag teams will have to be rethought.
That is all for now. We expect to have some fallout from all of this so be sure to stay tuned.
HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 - 01.2
Hello fans, welcome to the latest edition of our newsletter. Quite a bit has happened since new champs were crowned. We saw the breakup of one team while 2 new wrestlers were brought into the family. We start off with the introduction of Samoa Joe to the HWF. Immediately, Samoa Joe openly challenged Christopher Daniels for the X Division title. Samoa Joe called out Christopher Daniels and challenges him for the X division title. Daniels came out, looked at the challenger and then left. Joe didn't appreciate the disrespect so I am sure these two will be meeting up sooner rather than later. Donnie B then came out and let Samoa Joe know that if he wanted to make an immediate impact, he could start wrestling now. Joe accepted and asked the GM to send down his first opponent. With that, out came MW3.
In what was truly a squash match, Samoa Joe defeated MW3 in 6 minutes after connecting with the muscle buster. The main reason it ended so quick is that Negronomicon made his way down to the ring and distracted MW3. For good measure, he even held down MW3's leg while Joe made the cover. Negronomicon then told Samoa Joe that he owed him. Samoa Joe disagreed and that led to the second match-up for Joe: Samoa Joe vs. Negronomicon.
Samoa Joe def. Negronomicon via submission with the Rear Naked Choke. Granted, this match went just a bit longer than the MW3 one and even with MW3 at ringside, N put up a valiant fight; even if it was only for a few minutes more. MW3 attacked Negronomicon after the match. Both men battled to the back.
Gene Snitsky came down and called out the Undertaker demanding his title match. As you might remember, Snitsky won the battle royal which earned him the 1st match against HWF World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker. Undertaker def. Snitsky to retain World Title. Snitsky kept the battle even for most of the match but ended up falling prey to the Last Ride followed by the Tombstone Piledriver.
Donnie B then announced the next match of the evening: Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett would be taking on AJ Styles for the championship. Styles held his own but eventually became the victim of the Stroke. Jeff retained the IC Championship.
Donnie B then made his way down to the ring dressed for action. He announced that he would be defending the North American title tonight against one strong competitor: Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin was definitely not on his game and DB capitalized on that. In the end, Donnie B def. Shelton Benjamin to retain North American title with the Lights Out Brainbuster.
Booker T then came out and issued a challenge to the Undertaker for the World Title. Undertaker def. Booker T to retain World title in about 10 minutes. Booker was in total control of the match until being tossed out of the ring. Booker actually fell onto the steps and after Undertaker tossed him back in the ring, he connected with the Last Ride for the pin.
The following match was going to be for the X Division Title. Christopher Daniels came out and while posing in the ring, his opponent came down. It was none other than Bobby Lashley. Just before Lashley was going to head down to the ring, he was approached by Samoa Joe who asked for this opportunity. Lashley declined. Christopher Daniels def. Bobby Lashley to retain the X Division Title with the Angel's Wings. Joe attacked Lashley after the match and connected twice with the muscle buster.
A tournament was held to determine the #1 contender for the HWF IC and World titles. Shawn Michaels was challenged by Samoa Joe for his "spot". In the middle of the match, Negronomicon came down and distracted Joe. He then clobbered Shawn Michaels with a chair disqualifying Joe. Shawn Michaels is in the tournament. The matches broke down as such:
Shawn Michaels def. Christopher Daniels with a flying bodypress after Joe interfered and cost Daniels the match.
Rhyno def. Handsome G after Hulk Hogan came down to distract G.
Hulk Hogan def. Sting with the Leg Drop to advance in the tournament. Handsome G attacked Hogan after the match but was eventually driven off.
Shawn Michaels def. Hulk Hogan with Sweet Chin Music (and the distraction from Handsome G)
Rhyno def. Chris Benoit via countout.
Shawn Michaels def. Rhyno to become the #1 contender for the HWF World Heavyweight Title. Rhyno will be the #1 contender for the IC title.
Over in CSWA land, it was announced that Monty Brown would be added to the roster.
US Heavyweight Champion Edge came out and immediately called for his match against World Champion Kurt Angle. In right at 3 minutes, Edge def. Kurt Angle to become the NEW CSWA World Heavyweight Champion. GM Jeff Meyers came out and said that since Angle had the best overall performance in the tournament, he would get an immediate rematch.
Kurt Angle def. Edge to become the CSWA World Champion once again. Right at the end of the match, Monty Brown came down and hit Edge with the Pounce before tossing him back to the waiting challenger. Angle then pinned Edge with the Angle Slam. Edge confronted Mr. Meyers and asked if he was trying to intentionally screw him. Mr. Meyers stated that if he was out to screw Edge, Edge would know.
Edge immediately challenged Monty Brown. Brown accepted. The match ended in a time limit draw. The ref was clearly in favor of Brown and cost Edge numerous pin attempts. In the backstage area, Edge confronted Mr. Meyers and asked what he hoped to accomplish by screwing him. Mr. Meyers showed Edge the door to his office and then slammed it in his face.
US Champion Big Show (who also happens to co-hold the tag title with Kane) came down for his match against JBL. Bradshaw def. The Big Show to become the NEW CSWA TV Champion. Show had control early and often but wasn't a match for the 8 chair shots he took. After the last chair shot was delivered, JBL hit the Clothesline from Hell and pinned Show to become the new champion.
Cruiserweight Champion the Hurricane was told that he too would have to wrestle tonight. After throwing a fit, he finally asked who his opponent was. Mr. Meyers told Hurricane to get to the ring to find out. Waiting for him in the ring was none other than Chavo Guerrero Jr. Chavo Guerrero Jr. def. Hurricane to become the NEW CSWA Cruiserweight Champion. Hurricane left in a huff.
Mr. Meyers came down to the ring and called out the team of Super Warrior and Billy Gunn. Mr. Meyers definitely saw signs of stress in the team. Gunn consistently referred to SW as the weak link. They were interrupted by Monty Brown who issued a challenge to either man. He asked for one of them to step forward and be a man. Gunn then shoved SW forward and left the ring.
Monty Brown def. Super Warrior via the Pounce. Billy Gunn held down SW's leg after Brown went for the pin. After the match, Gunn got back in the ring pretending he didn't do anything. SW got pissed and pushed Gunn. Billy battled back by clocking the Super Warrior with a chair shot. Gunn put the boots to SW before being escorted out of the ring by security. SW was pretty quick to recover and challenged Gunn to a Hardcore Match. Gunn looked scared. Mr. Meyers took it upon himself to make the match. Gunn was not happy. The exact type of match will be kept secret until it actually takes place.
It has been agreed upon by the championship committee (Donnie B and Mr. Meyers) that William Regal and Hardcore Holly will be the #1 contenders for the Tag Team titles.
That is all for now. More results to follow.
HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 - 01.3 – Leadup to the PPV
Hello fans. In our build up to our first PPV of the year "Clash of the Champions", we had some matches take place to determine the final matches at the Clash. We had a lot happen so let's get right to it.
In HWF:
Jeff Jarrett w/Eric Bischoff defeated Booker T by disqualification when Bischoff hit Booker with Jarrett's guitar. Donnie B did not care for this so he ordered Jarrett back to the ring for another match and sent Bischoff to the back. Out came Rhino and as soon as the bell rang, Jarrett left the ring and got counted out.
Rhino stayed in the ring and then out came Samoa Joe who challenged Rhino for his spot as the #1 contender for the IC Championship. Samoa Joe took control early on but the Man-Beast was just too much and after connecting with the Gore, Rhino retained his spot against Jarrett at the PPV.
Sting took on Chris Benoit to determine the challenger for Donnie B's North American title. It was a well fought battle but in the end, Benoit fell victim to the Scorpion Death Drop and Sting goes to the Clash.
Shawn Michaels took on Negronomicon in the next match. The winner of this match would determine who would meet the Undertaker at the PPV. It was a long and brutal match but out of nowhere, Negronomicon connected with the Black Doom and got his SECOND win over Michaels and now get to go after the World Title Gold. After the match, Negronomicon stayed in the ring and chanted "That's Two" with the fans (meaning his second win over HBK).
AJ Styles took on MW3 to determine the challenger to Christopher Daniels' X Division Championship. It didn't take long but Styles got the win with the Styles' Clash. Right after the match ended, Samoa Joe came down and tossed MW3 from the ring. He then immediately challenged Styles for his shot. Styles got on the mic and told Joe that he couldn't just come out and demand something. He had to earn it. Samoa Joe then defeated AJ Styles with the Muscle Buster to become the #1 contender for the X Division title. Christopher Daniels came out and stood at the top of the ramp. Joe has some colorful words for the champ but Daniels then turned around and left.
Carlito took on the Super Warrior in the next match. Carlito won the match after he distracted the ref while Billy Gunn ran down and delivered the Fame-asser to SW. After the match ended and he made his way to the back, Super Warrior grabbed an announcer and had this to say:
"Do you believe in destiny Billy Gunn? It seems that destiny decided long ago that you could only find success as a tag team competitor. In your ignorance, you have been trying to go it alone as of late and have met with failure every time. Along comes the best opportunity of your career as you were picked to join with me. Me and my Warriors could have taken you to heights even your ambition could have never dreamed of and yet, you chose to throw it all away. You live up to your moniker, Mr. Ass. Now, you will be the "butt" of destiny's cruel joke as fate relegates you to obscurity as just another victim who has fallen to the Super Warrior!
Hulk Hogan lost his match against 3 Minute Warning's Jamal via DQ when he was attacked with a steel chair by Handsome G. G then issued a final challenge for a match at the PPV. Hogan accepted once he came to.
In CSWA:
Shannon Moore defeated the Hurricane when Hurricane could not make it back into the ring after the 10 count. Shannon goes on to meet Chavo Guerrero Jr. for the Cruiserweight title.
Randy Orton defeated John Cena with the RKO to go on to meet Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Raven defeated Monty Brown with the Evenflow DDT to get the shot at Edge's US Title. After the match, Edge came down and speared Raven. He tossed Monty Brown into the audience. He then gave Raven a DDT of his own on the concrete floor. Raven is ok but was busted up.
Batista defeated Christian Cage with 2 Batista Bombs in 3 minutes to become the #1 contender for JBL's TV Title.
We don't expect much to happen prior to the PPV so as long as nothing changes, the PPV will look like this:
CSWA
Super Warrior vs. Billy Gunn in a specialty match. The type of match will be determined the night of the event.
Shannon Moore vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr. for the Cruiserweight title.
Batista vs. JBL for the TV Title

Randy Orton w/Dad vs. Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight title
HWF
Negronomicon vs. Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Title
Rhino vs. Jeff Jarrett w/ Eric Bischoff for the Intercontinental Title
Sting vs. Donnie B for the North American Title
Hulk Hogan vs. Handsome G. This match will probably be a specialty match also.
Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels for the X Division Title

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 - 01.4 - Clash of the Champions PPV
Hello fans, welcome to our first PPV of the 2006 year Clash of the Champions. This event will truly be a clash of champions as we expect to have 18 different matches taking place this evening. All of the championships will be defended tonight. We may see some new champions as well as new #1 contenders. Both the HWF World Champion the Undertaker and CSWA World Champion Kurt Angle will be wrestling multiple times this evening - to defend their titles as well as go after the big daddy of them all - The Undisputed Heavyweight Championship currently held by Chris Benoit. We are wasting no time here so our first match is ready to begin.
1) Undertaker vs. Negronomicon for the HWF World Heavyweight Championship. Both men battled back and forth with the champ controlling the majority of the match. Undertaker went for numerous pin attempts as well as trying to get the challenger counted out but in the end, the time limit bell rang signifying the end of the match. Just as Undertaker was getting ready to leave, GM Donnie B comes out and announces that this match - especially one for the World Heavyweight Championship - will not end in a time limit draw. He then ordered the ref to restart the match. 3 minutes later, Negronomicon hit the Black Doom on the champion and was able to get the 1-2-3 right in the middle of the ring. Under HWF rules, Undertaker gets his immediate rematch. Less than 10 minutes later and a huge ass kicking, Undertaker pins the Negronomicon with the tombstone piledriver. This takes us to the 3rd and deciding pinfall which will take place in a steel cage. Undertaker busted up Negronomicon in the first few minutes of the match but the challenger wouldn't give up. After being blinded by the cage, Negronomicon went on the defense while Undertaker climbed to the top of the ring. He then delivered a B52 kneedrop from the top of the cage to the prone challenger. Just at that time, the cage started to rise. Undertaker went for the pin but Negronomicon kicked out at the 2 count. Just as the cage had been raised about 4 feet, Shawn Michaels ran down and pulled Negronomicon out of the ring. He then delivered a superkick and N collapsed like a ton of bricks. Shawn then tossed N back into the ring as the cage was once again lowered. Undertaker hit the Last Ride and got the 1-2-3. He then walked to the door, went through and was declared the winner and STILL the HWF World Heavyweight Champion. Total match time - 51 minutes.
2) Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton (w/dad) for the CSWA World Heavyweight title. Prior to the beginning of the match, Bob Orton Jr. was no where to be found. GM Jeff Meyers told Randy that if his dad was going to act as his manager, he needed to be at ringside. Randy said he would show up at any time. Randy Orton was able to get a very quick pin on Kurt to become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion. Jeff Meyers then came out and explained once again that Randy's manager was not at ringside so this match was now null and void. Meyers yelled at Bob Orton to get his ass down to ringside. The match was restarted but Kurt took out Bob early on. He then locked Randy in the ankle lock and with no one to interfere on his behalf, he had no choice but to tap out. Kurt Angle retains the World Heavyweight Title. Kurt left immediately but Randy got on the mic and told Kurt that this was not over and was demanding another title shot. We will have to wait and see what comes of this.
3) Next was the inter-promotional match between AJ Styles and Christian. Both men battled back and forth but neither could get a clear advantage over the other. The next thing we knew is that the bell rang signifying the end of the match. Both men shook hands as they left the ring.
4) The following match was for the HWF Intercontinental Championship between Jeff Jarrett (w/ Eric Bischoff) and Rhyno. Rhyno controlled the majority of the match but each and every time Jarrett was in trouble, Bischoff was there making the save. Once again, the time limit was reached and Donnie B once again restarted the match. Donnie B then stated that going forward; no match would end in a time limit draw. At the 26 minute mark, Rhyno hits the GORE on Jarrett and gets the pin. Jarrett then came back strong but it took him 20 minutes to get the second fall after leveling Rhyno with the guitar. For the second time this evening, the cage lowered and in 18 minutes, Jeff Jarrett retains the IC title after he knocked out Rhyno with a pair of brass knuckles. Total match time - 62 minutes.
5) Our first tag match of the evening was the CSWA's Sabu and Monty Brown taking on John Cena and Ric Flair. Cena started off against Brown and immediately tossed him out of the ring. He then ran Monty right into the ringside steps and it appeared that Brown hurt his knee. Cena then tossed Brown back into the ring and tagged in Ric. Flair immediately locks on the Figure 4 leglock. Cena shoulder blocks Sabu right out of the ring. Monty Brown passes out from the pain and is pinned by the Figure 4 at the 4 minute mark.
6) Our second tag match was Chris Masters and Carlito taking on Viscera and Konnan. This was another short match that saw Viscera get tossed out of the ring and both men then double teamed Konnan. Carlito clocked Konnan with a coconut and got the win for his team.
7) CSWA's Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero Jr. took on Shannon Moore. A slow match with a lot of high spots. Shannon connected with a flying dropkick as Chavo was coming off the top rope. The force of the blow caused Chavo to go flying out of the ring and he landed hard on the floor. Shannon then tossed Chavo back into the ring where he connected with the Punk Out and pinned Chavo with a little help from holding the tights. Shannon is declared the new Cruiserweight Champion at the 26 minute mark.
8) The Dudley Boyz took on 3 Minute Warning with Eric Bischoff. Bischoff was taken out early by Bubba Ray and without the outside interference, were able to defeat Rosey and Jamal at the 17 minute mark.
9) The last match to determine top contenders for the Tag Titles was going to be Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin taking on Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio Jr. Right off the bat there seemed to be issues between Lashley and Benjamin which ended up costing them their match. Benjamin walked away as Lashley was being pinned after the 6-1-9 and the Twist of Fate. Benjamin ran back in and assaulted Lashley. Bobby battled back and hit a huge powerslam on his former partner. Benjamin rolled out of the ring yelling that he would make sure Lashley pays for that.
10) Donnie B then came out to defend the HWF North American Title against the man known as Sting. Donnie B was not ready for the onslaught that Sting brought on. Sting took the first pin after pinning DB with the Scorpion Death Drop. Sting then easily took the second pin after pinning Donnie B with the figure 4. Sting is the NEW North American Champion.
11) CSWA's TV Champion JBL took on Batista. This really didn't amount to much as it only took 4 minutes and a Batista Bomb for Dave Batista to become the NEW TV Champion.
12) The Tag Titles were on the line next with the champions Big Show and Kane taking on William Regal and Hardcore Holly. Kane was taken out early and the challengers focused on taking down the Big Show. Show managed to hold his own and after his partner was able to make it back into the ring, Show tagged out. Holly then connected with an awesome dropkick which sent Kane back to the outside. Kane then went toe to toe with William Regal on the outside of the ring while Show beat the snot out of Holly. As the ref was finally able to get Show out of the ring, Regal clocked Kane with a steel chair knocking him out. The ref made the count and after reaching 10 and Kane had not gotten up yet, he awarded the win to Regal and Holly BUT the tag titles are the one championship that will NOT change hands on a countout. Kane and Show may have lost the match but they are still the champs.
13) In a grudge match, Hulk Hogan took on Handsome G. The match was declared a Lights Out match. Hogan immediately clocked Handsome G and went to work. It only took 5 minutes for Hogan to pin G. In fact, he did it with the Leg Drop. Handsome G left the ring in disgrace while Hogan celebrated in the ring.
14) Our other grudge match of the night was the Super Warrior against Billy Gunn. SW opened a can of whupass that had never been seen since the days of Stone Cold Steve Austin. At the six minute mark, SW started to whip Billy like a government mule. Gunn, having no place to go, tapped out in the middle of the ring. Super Warrior wins the match.
15) The 1st of 2 "Clash of the Champions" as HWF World Heavyweight Champion the Undertaker took on the CSWA's World Champion Kurt Angle. Both men battled strongly in this qualifying match but the Olympic Hero was able to down his challenger after delivering a nasty chop block to the leg of the Undertaker. Undertaker tried for a chokeslam but his leg collapsed under him. Angle took the opportunity to lock in the Ankle Lock. He sat down on Undertaker's leg and started wrenching. Undertaker, who appeared in a lot of pain, couldn't handle it anymore and tapped. Kurt Angle won the match and goes on to meet Chris Benoit in the final match of the evening for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.
16) Our third to last match of the evening was the CSWA US Champion Edge taking on his rival Raven. Edge managed to hit the Spear on Raven a few times during the match but was never able to make the pin. Raven then managed to sneak the US title into the ring and clocked Edge with it. He then delivered the Evenflow DDT and covered Edge for the 1-2-3. Raven is the NEW US Champion. After the match, Edge called out Jeff Meyers. He asked him again if he was indeed trying to screw him. Mr. Meyers took the mic and said "You guessed it. I was trying to screw you out of the title. And now that the title is no longer around your waste, guess what.....YOU'RE FIRED!" Edge was highly upset as security came down to escort him out of the ring and the fans chanted "Goodbye" to the former US Champion. We will have to wait and see what happens next.
17) In what was expected to be one of the most highly anticipated matches of the evening, we saw X Division champion Christopher Daniels take on his challenger Samoa Joe. Daniels controlled the match early but lost his edge as Samoa Joe took him to the outside of the ring and gave him a muscle buster on the exposed concrete floor. Daniels was then busted open. After being tossed back into the ring, Joe hit a Samoa drop and got the first pin on Daniels. Daniels, who was losing a lot of blood tried to make a comeback but Joe was just too fresh and after weakening him with a rear naked choke, he superplexed him from the top rope and make a cover. The ref counted 1...2...3. We have a NEW X-Division champion. Joe grabbed a chair and tossed it into the ring. He picked up Daniels and set him up for a muscle buster onto the chair. At this time, AJ Styles then ran down and cleared Joe out of the ring with a chair of his own. Styles reminded him that he was the number one contender and swore to take that belt right off of him. Joe just smiled and walked away.
18) The final match of the evening was Chris Benoit defending the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship against CSWA World Champion Kurt Angle. Angle hit the Olympic slam early but Benoit was fresh enough to kick out of it. Angle also was able to kick out of a pin after being hit with the flying headbutt. Fists were flying and unfortunately, the ref got hit. Randy Orton then ran down and attacked Angle from behind knocking him out of the ring. Benoit started chopping at the chest of Orton until he bailed out of the ring. Orton tossed Angle into the steel ringpost before tossing him back into the ring. Benoit went up top and hit the flying headbutt and then locked in the crippler crossface. Benoit then rolled the maneuver into a pin and with the leg of Angle being held down by Randy Orton, the ref counted 1-2-3 declaring Benoit the winner and STILL the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion. Randy got in the ring and knocked Benoit out of the ring. He then helped Angle to his feet and connected with the RKO. Randy stood in the ring celebrating as we went off the air.
That is all for now. More to follow.
HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 08.1 – We’re Back!!!!!
Well, it's been a very long 7 months but I am happy to say that the HWF and CSWA organizations are back. Our disappearance over that time period has been a mystery to most. Now, after all this time has finally passed, I am happy to report that YOU get to read that reason here.
It all began shortly before the Clash of the Champions PPV. CSWA's GM Jeff Meyers and I were in talks to consider starting up a third brand. This one was planned to be EXTREME. That's right; we talked about bringing back the ECW brand. Well, unfortunately for us, word of this was leaked out (the culprits will be fingered later) and before we know what was going on, we were totally shut down. HWF and CSWA were issued Cease and Desist letters as well as a copyright infringement suit brought on by that scumbag lowlife money stealing dirty trash bag ho former ECW GM Ramon "I'm a total bitch" Alameda. Mr. Scumbag had gotten word of our interest in renewing the brand and promptly issued the lawsuit against us. Unfortunately for Mr. Meyers and I, all of our money was tied up in our respective federations and we were unable to support shows or pay our talent and fight the lawsuit at the same time. We both agreed to dissolve all contracts with the wrestlers and let them know they were all free to pursue work with any organization they so chose. It was with a sad and heavy heart that we had to shut our doors and say goodbye but for us, that was only the beginning.
Mr. Meyers and I began collaborating immediately on how to get ourselves free from the bullshit we have had dumped on us. Fortunately for us, the first time that we booted the ECW Butthead GM, we had all our "ducks in a row". We were able to work with the courts and start the process. It took 4 months but we were able to get the mess all cleared up and even were able to win the suit. The legal system has worked in our favor and has made sure that old dickhead is no longer in control of anything that has to do with ECW or wrestling (including licensing) in general. In fact, we even got that dirty bastard to pay all of our legal fees. Now was the time to begin rebuilding. We made the initial decision to leave ECW (as a potentially new federation) alone. We were then approached by a legal attorney (we shall call him AA for now) who provided us with some really good information. He then offered his services as a specialist in his field. We have agreed to take him on as our onsite legal specialist. He also happens to know quite a bit about the wrestling business so he may come in handy.
We began gathering all the names on who we wanted to invite back to the family with the exception of two wrestlers and those two were the ones found to be involved in the leak. Those two were Chris Masters and Road Warrior Animal. Animal was named directly and will not be allowed to ever return to either federation. Chris Masters’ involvement has yet to be determined. He is on indefinite suspension pending the investigation.
With our next newsletter, we will recap a few of the storylines that you might have missed. We are glad to be back and bringing you once again the best product on the market. Stay Tuned.
HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 08.02
Hello Fans, welcome back to what we hope will be a welcome addition to your inbox. In this issue, we will recap some of the old storylines and well as cover the new draft that took place.
HWF - Negronomicon had confronted Shawn Michaels about the interference in his PPV match. Shawn tells him that he got what he had coming and starts to walk off. Negronomicon stops him but Shawn pushes him away. Shawn turns around and Negronomicon takes the time to slip on a pair of brass knuckles. He then taps Shawn on the shoulder and when Shawn turned around, N laid him out. Negronomicon then hits the Graham Stomp on Michaels and follows it up with the Black Doom.
AJ Styles called out Samoa Joe and demands his match. Christopher Daniels comes out and says how convenient it was that since Daniels lost the X-Division title, how AJ is now the #1 contender. AJ tells Daniels that he wanted to fight the champion and Joe ended up being the champion. Daniels then tells AJ that they should have a #1 contenders match to determine who actually is the better of the two. Styles agreed.
AJ took on Daniels in the #1 contenders match and Samoa Joe sat at ringside. Both men toss each other out of the ring and Joe took some pot shots at each man behind the ref's back while they were on the outside of the ring. AJ hits two consecutive reverse STF's on Daniels and then rolled him up for a pin. Joe got up and held down Daniels' leg while the ref made the 3 count. Daniels gets up and is pissed off. AJ and Joe have a staredown as Joe exits up the ramp. AJ Styles is the #1 contender for the X-division title.
Newly crowned North American Champion Sting then makes his way down to the ring and gets on the mic. He tells everyone how great it is to be back. He is then confronted by Booker T. who tells Sting that he is washed up and needs to go back to the pulpit where he has been hiding for so long. Sting tells Booker that if he (Booker) wanted a title match, all he had to do was ask. Booker says that "Now, I am asking for it." Sting agrees to the match and says "Be careful for what you wish for as you WILL get what is coming to you". Booker leaves the ring all happy.
Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin held a "Loser leaves town" match which also was an I Quit match. After several minutes of kicking each others ass, Lashley ended up quitting after having his face sandwiched against the cage. Lashley is gone and Benjamin receives a "Money in the bank" match that will allow him to go after a title of his choosing.
Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett has been continuing to run his mouth so GM Donnie B tells Jeff that "We will be holding a gauntlet match. You will have to fight 5 wrestlers of my choosing. If any of the wrestlers beat you or if you get disqualified or counted out, you will lose the title and be promptly FIRED. Your first opponent will be the newly acquired Edge."
Edge came out and took on the champ. Donnie B said that Jarrett wasn't welcome here anymore so any chance to screw over JJ, he was going to take it. The bell rang and Edge took the fight immediately to the champ. Out of nowhere, Edge hit an awesome dropkick on Jarrett and then went for the cover. Donnie B got up and held down Jarrett's leg as the ref made the count. The ref counted to 3 and declared Edge as the NEW Intercontinental Champion. The audience, Edge and Donnie B all waved goodbye to Jarrett as he left up the ramp and out of the building. The chanting went on for a good couple of minutes.
Jeff Jarrett is immediately met by CSWA GM Jeff Meyers where he is given an instant contract and given a shot at US Champion Raven. Raven and Jarrett finally met in the ring and as their match began, Raven connected with a DDT but Jarrett rolled out of the ring. Jeff battled back and started his own beatdown of the US champ. After hitting a ringrope faceburn, Jarrett connected with the Stroke but Raven kicked out at 2. Raven connected with another DDT and began battling back which put Jarrett on the defensive. After hitting a low blow, Raven hit the powerbomb and got a 3 count which allowed him to retain his title.
HWF's Rey Mysterio and Matt Hardy took on the World Tag Team champs Kane and Big Show for the titles. Show and Kane controlled the majority of the match but did feel threatened a few times in the match by the competition. Show ended up getting the win at the 16 minute mark after a vicious chokeslam on Matt Hardy..
Bobby Lashley is also picked up right away and offered a title shot against the US champion Raven (this takes place after Jarrett's title shot). Christopher Daniels, who was picked up at the same time as Lashley had an issue with this. He challenged Lashley for the #1 contenders spot. Lashley agreed and in 19 minutes, put away the threat that was Christopher Daniels. Lashley is told he has his match and could use it at anytime. Lashley says he wants it now and calls out Raven.
Raven comes down and the match begins. 6 minutes and a Dominator later, we have a new US Heavyweight Champion. Bobby Lashley is the new Champion.
The new draft looks like this:

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 08.03
Hello fans. Welcome back. We will continue to bring you the most up to date information from the world of professional wrestling.
The newly reformed Hardy Boyz took on the Dudleys to determine the #1 contenders for the Tag Team titles. After a hard fought victory, the Hardys were victorious. They will go on to challenge Big Show and Kane for the tag team titles.
Monty Brown challenged Samoa Joe for the HWF X-division championship. After missing the Pounce, Brown fell victim to a huge splash in the corner. Joe gave Monty a face buster and pinned him. AJ Styles then ran down and both men brawled. It was eventually broken up by the referees. Donnie B came out and made a match, right then and there between the two men. The match went on for about 19 minutes before Joe figured he had enough and left the ring thereby getting counted out. AJ won the match but not the title.
CSWA World Champion Kurt Angle was in a gracious mood. He called out Randy Orton. Randy was responsible for the attack on Kurt at the last PPV costing him the Undisputed Heavyweight title. Orton came down but it only took the World Champion 3 minutes to lock in the Ankle lock and making Orton tap out.
The HWF then held a battle royal to determine the challengers for the championships at the PPV. The final 4 men left in the ring were RVD, Monty Brown, Chris Benoit and the Sandman. Out of the last 4, Sandman was eliminated first, followed by Chris Benoit leaving Monty Brown and RVD to duke it out to determine the #1 contender for the World title. The runner up would get his shot at any of the other 3 championships. RVD ended up winning the match after a 5 star frog splash in the center of the ring. RVD is now the #1 contender for the Undertaker’s World Title. Monty Brown chose Intercontinental Champion Edge for his opponent at the PPV. Chris Benoit challenged Sting for the North American Championship leaving Sandman to take on Samoa Joe for the X-division title. Sandman did make this a specialty match. Joe would have no place to run or hide. This would take place in a steel cage.
Umaga with Armando Alejandro Estrada easily breezed through the small challenge of Handsome G. Umaga was ready to destroy the Handsome one until MW3 came out to make the save. MW3 was in the process of getting his ass kicked until out of nowhere, he hits Umaga with a Oriental Spike. Umaga taps in the ring but Armando jumped in the ring and onto MW3. MW3 then hits Armando with the Oriental Spike and he taps. Armando gets on the mic and tells MW3 that he will face his worst nightmare to date…the Samoan Bulldozer Umaga at the PPV.
Christopher Daniels complained once again about the trade and was pissed that he would not be able to finish his feud with AJ Styles. Both men agreed to a Lights Out match to end this feud once and for all. Due to an error on the part of the ref, the match had to be restarted due to the rules of the match not being laid out properly. Once the match had been restarted and a new ref had been put in, the match resumed. At the 5 minute mark, AJ took Daniels out to the ring and then hit 3 consecutive piledrivers on the concrete floor before tossing Daniels back into the ring. AJ made the cover and was able to get the 1-2-3. Daniels had to be helped from the ring.
Shelton Benjamin was asked if he wanted to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and he said that when the time was right, he would.
Booker T also was asked about being pushed to the side after getting his match signed with Sting for the North American title. He was not happy and chose not to make any comments at this time.
We did catch up with Booker T and Chris Benoit. Booker was in Benoit’s face about stealing his shot and Benoit said that he rightfully earned it. Booker demanded a match with Benoit to determine who would go on to face Sting at the PPV. They both met in the ring and had a 5 star match which lasted a good 30 minutes with neither man getting a real advantage over the other. Benoit connected with the flying headbutt and then locked in the Crippler Crossface. Just as Booker was getting ready to tap, Booker somehow got to his feet with Benoit still holding on. Booker swung it into a Bookend but was too exhausted to make the cover. It did appear that Benoit somehow had gotten hurt. Booker got to his feet first and then leveled Benoit with a roundhouse kick. He picked up Benoit again and connected with another Bookend. He made the cover and at the 30 minute mark, was declared the winner of the match and he takes over Benoit’s spot at the PPV against Sting. The lights suddenly went out and when they came back on 10 seconds later, Sting was in the ring….but Booker had a chair. He leveled Sting with the chair and then had to be escorted out of the ring. Sting ended up being helped by refs to the back of the arena.
Batista went to Mr. Meyers and asked who his opponent would be for the PPV. No one had been lined up until Konan stormed into the office demanding some sort of title match. He claimed he was being held back (where have we heard this before, Negronomicon). Batista agreed and walked out as Konan shouted some obscenities in Spanish at him.
CSWA Cruiserweight Champion Shannon Moore was also informed that his opponent at the PPV would be none other than the returning “Texas Hammer” Jay Mack.
Also looking for something to do, Super Warrior had wandered around a bit. He ran into the US Champion Bobby Lashley and congratulated him on his win. In typical fashion, SW attacked Lashley from behind but the US Champion was prepared. He executed an awesome Belly to Belly suplex on the floor. Lashley said that no one attacks him and that this would be settled in the ring. I guess we know who Bobby’s opponent will be at the PPV.
The PPV, at this time, looks like this:
Hardy’s vs. Show and Kane for the Tag Team titles;
Undertaker vs. RVD for the HWF World title;
Monty Brown vs. Edge for the IC title;
Booker T. vs. Sting for the North American championship;
Samoa Joe vs. Sandman in a steel cage for the X-division title;
Umaga vs. MW3
Kurt Angle vs. Bradshaw for the World title;
Bobby Lashley vs. Super Warrior for the US title;
Batista vs. Konan for the TV title;
Shannon Moore vs. Jay Mack for the Cruiserweight title;
Chris Benoit will defend the Unified Heavyweight Championship against the winners of their respective World title matches.
We expect the PPV to take place at the beginning of September so we hope to have any last minute updates sent out in a timely manner.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 09.01
Hello fans. Welcome back. We have two pieces of *Breaking News* to pass along to you. The first involves the CSWA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle. Angle approached CSWA management and informed them that with all the problems going on in his life, he can no longer fulfill the requirements of what is required from the World Champion. He then stated that he was officially retiring and surrendering the title. Angle had asked that he be allowed to address the fans. Angle came down and got on the mic. “To all my respective fans in CSWA and the HWF:
This is my personal ‘Thank You’ straight from my heart, to all my fans for being here with me and providing me with the most honorable privilege to perform and entertain for you. Thank you for tuning into your TVs weekly, for visiting me at hundreds of house show chanting ‘You Suck’ (I love that phrase). Upon entering the world of professional wrestling, I had one goal in mind...to be the VERY BEST! Many say I am; some may say I'm not. I want you to know I treated every single match as if it were my last! From the entertainment standpoint, (good guy or bad guy), it’s been truly exciting, but I know in my heart that I have not reached my peak. Fans, thank you all for the memories. It was quite a ride. I would not trade any of it for the world. As I sit here a bit teary eyed, I do want all of you to know, I will be fine. I will finally get to spend some real quality time with my family… time that is much, much overdue. My plan and goal is to become stronger mentally, physically and spiritually. I, Kurt Angle, will be back! That’s a promise. And that’s DAMN TRUE!
God Bless You all.”
Every fan in the entire arena stood up and gave Angle a standing ovation. After a few minutes of cheering, Angle set the World title down in the ring and started to leave and then the fans began chanting “Na,na. Na, na na na. Hey hey hey, Goodbye”. Angle then stood at the top of the ramp where he applauded the fans. A teary-eyed Kurt Angle then left the stage.
With this announcement, GM Jeff Meyers came down to the ring and picked up the mic. Just as he was ready to begin speaking, Bradshaw came down to the ring. Bradshaw took the mic from the GM and said that since Angle (his opponent) for the PPV was gone, he has forfeited the title and he (JBL) is now the NEW Champion. Mr. Meyers took the mic from JBL and told him “You get nothing. You want a shot at the title, Earn it! Later this evening, we will be hosting a battle royal which will determine the top 4 contenders for the title. Should you make it that far, you will then get a chance to fight for the most prestigious belt in the World. Now, get out of my ring!” JBL tried to get the mic back but Mr. Meyers kept yelling at him to “get out”. Finally, JBL left the ring.
The second piece of news comes from the HWF and it involves “The Alpha Male” Monte Brown. Just after being told he was going to get the IC title shot at Edge, Brown was pissed off that he did not get the World title shot. He started tearing up the backstage area until he was stopped by GM Donnie B and security. Donnie B told Monte Brown that the damage he caused will be covered by Brown. And to show that he means business, Monte Brown is now stripped of his title shot at IC Champion Edge and to make monetary restitution, he is now suspended for 30 days without pay. With this announcement, interest has been brewing to find out who would be in line for the title shot against Edge. 4 men have been picked and those men will battle it out to determine who gets the shot against Edge. Those 4 men are John Cena, Christian, Test and Shelton Benjamin.
CSWA held the battle royal and it began with Bradshaw being the first man eliminated. 4 different wrestlers ganged up on him and dumped him unceremoniously out of the ring. It was a really hard fought battle but in the end it came down to the last 4 men who will all meet at the PPV for the vacated World Heavyweight Title: Shawn Michaels, Christopher Daniels, Sabu and Raven.
Lots were drawn for the 4 HWF wrestlers. The brackets broke down as Christian Cage vs. Test and John Cena vs. Shelton Benjamin. The IC champion Edge came down to sit at ringside and observe.
The first match was Christian vs. Test. Christian owned the challenger for most of the event. He tossed Test out of the ring and Test would have been counted out had this not been a no count-out, no time limit event. The match went on for 26 minutes with Christian hitting the Unprettier and going for the pin. At the 2 count, Test kicked out and somehow connected with the Pump Handle Slam. Test went for the cover and Edge got up and held down Christian’s leg as the ref counted 1..2..3. Test was declared the winner of this match. He would go up against the winner of the next match.
In our second match, John Cena took on Shelton Benjamin. This match was much shorter. Cena took the early advantage but interference from Edge gave Shelton the advantage. Shelton went to whip Cena into the ropes but Cena reversed it and ended up taking a chair shot from Edge who was unaware that he hit the wrong guy. Benjamin fell down and Cena laid down the 5 knuckle shuffle and pinned Benjamin in the middle of the ring much to the dismay of Edge.
The final match would put Test against John Cena to see who would go to the PPV to meet the IC champion Edge. The ref, having seen footage from the previous match, saw what Edge did and then promptly barred him from ringside. Test took the advantage but was no match for his rested opponent. Cena hit numerous 5 knuckle shuffles on Test and in the end, Test met his end via the end of a side suplex in the middle of the ring. John Cena goes on to meet Edge for the HWF Intercontinental Championship.
Stay tuned for results from the Wrestlemania PPV.
HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 09.02 – Pre-PPV notes
Hello fans, welcome to the latest installment of the newsletter. We will be doing a quick recap of the matches to take place at this weekends’ Wrestlemania event.
In HWF slated matches, we will see:
Undertaker vs. RVD for the HWF World title: This will be RVD’s shot at the biggest show in the World. Will RVD walk away with gold or will the Dead Man reign supreme?
John Cena vs. Edge for the IC title: John Cena gets an opportunity at the expense of the Alpha Male. How will Monty Brown react once (if) he is reinstated? Cena is at a disadvantage here so he will have an uphill battle to fight. Can he pull it off? We will have to wait to see.
Booker T. vs. Sting for the North American championship: Sting has been living the high life since taking the NA title from Donnie B. Booker now poses a real threat to Sting’s championship run. Will the former 5-time WCW world heavyweight champion be able to hold a title once again?
Samoa Joe vs. Sandman in a steel cage for the X-division title: Sandman proved a lot making it to the end of the battle royal (or maybe it was just luck). This match will not be one for the weak hearted as Samoa Joe has promised to send Sandman home in an ambulance.
The Tag team titles will be defended again as the champions Kane and the Big Show take on the re-formed team of the Hardy Boyz. The Hardys have momentum in their corner. Will it be enough to take on a team that outweighs them by almost a quarter of a ton?!?!?
CSWA matches:
Shawn Michaels, Christopher Daniels, Sabu and Raven will all get a chance to become the World Champion; a title vacated by the former champion Kurt Angle when he announced his retirement from the sport. (As a side note, Kurt was invited to attend the Wrestlemania festivities but at this time, he had declined). Christopher Daniels is still pissed off at having been drafted by the CSWA so this is his opportunity to show off his talent and possibly capture the most prestigious title the CSWA has. The person who wins this title will meet the HWF World Champion to see who goes on to meet Chris Benoit for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship – a title Benoit has held for over a year. The last time Benoit lost the title was in his match against Muhammed Hassan.
Bobby Lashley vs. Super Warrior for the US title: Lashley was unhappy at being dissed by a nobody like the Super Warrior but the thing to keep in mind is that SW was a former World Champion and should not be underestimated.
Batista vs. Konan for the TV title: As the composer of this newsletter, I am still trying to figure out what the $^$# was going on in the mind of Jeff Meyers to make this match. Konan? Gonad? That no talent POS? Ah well. Good for him. Kill him Batista!
Shannon Moore vs. Jay Mack for the Cruiserweight title: Jay Mack returns to the wrestling ring after an extended absence from the sport. Mack was a strong Cruiserweight and TV champion and he looks to remove Shannon from this spot and take the title for himself.
New Matches have also been added: Donnie B, Negronomicon, and Handsome G will also be involved at the PPV. It has been decided that Donnie B will be taking on Test. Negronomicon will be taking on Christian Cage. Handsome G gets the opportunity to take on the self-proclaimed “god” of wrestling JBL.
There will be two inter-promotional matches on this card. Jeff Jarrett will take on AJ Styles and Scott Steiner will take on HHH.
HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 09.03 – Wrestlemania is Here!
Welcome everyone to our Wrestlemania PPV. We won’t keep you in suspense so here we go!
The first match on the card is the first of 4 semi-finals matches for the CSWA World Heavyweight Title. Lots were drawn and our first match is Raven vs. Sabu. Sabu took control early but was sidelined after getting an Evenflo DDT. Sabu battled back with a tabletop splash followed by the Triple Leap Moonsault. Raven tossed Sabu out of the ring and as soon as Sabu got back in the ring, Raven hit another DDT and got the 3 count at the 6 minute mark.
Shawn Michaels then came out for his match with Christopher Daniels. This was a hard fought match by both men. Shawn controlled the match early and we even thought this was going to end early after Shawn connected with the Sweet Chin Music. Daniels managed to kick out at 2. They both traded blows but surprisingly, Shawn didn’t go for the pin very often. Daniels battled back but then fell victim to yet another superkick. He again kicked out at 2. Shawn was perplexed. Shawn managed to reverse an Angel’s Wings attempt with a clothesline. Shawn got the 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring at the 18 minute mark.
In order to give both Michaels and Raven a break, we went to our first HWF match of the night – Booker T. vs. Sting for the North American Heavyweight title.
Sting started off by hitting a reverse DDT. Booker battled back with a flying headbutt but was clearly off his game. Sting hit a side suplex and a power clothesline to get (steal) the win from Booker T. Sting remains the NA Champion.
Since we did not expect that match to end so soon, we went to the match for the HWF World Heavyweight Championship between the Undertaker and RVD. Undertaker looked a tad rusty in this match whereas RVD was looking fresh. In a very quick 6 minute match, RVD hit the Undertaker with the Van Terminator and got the win. One down. Undertaker tried to go toe to toe with RVD but just couldn’t keep up. RVD hit a Van Daminator and went for the pin. Taker kicked out at 2. RVD then hit the Van Terminator and went for the pin again. Once again, Undertaker kicked out at 2. RVD hit a 5 star frog splash and another Van Daminator but got the same result…kick out at 2. RVD caught the Undertaker with a spin kick and Taker looked like he was out. RVD went up again and hit the 5 star frog splash for the win. RVD is the NEW HWF World Heavyweight Champion. Undertaker, in a clearly classy state, walked up to RVD and handed him the World title. They shook hands and then Undertaker left RVD in the ring to celebrate.
Now its time to crown another champion…Raven comes out to take on Shawn Michaels.
I will have to say this about Shawn. He really brings out the best in his opponents. Raven easily hit him with 5 groin shots and Shawn kept coming back. In what turned out to be a 21 minute match, Shawn pulled out a win. Raven had just connected with the Evenflo DDT but decided not to pin Michaels. Michaels executed an awesome sunset flip and was able to secure the win as well as become the NEW CSWA World Heavyweight Champion. Michaels and RVD will meet later in the show to see who goes on to meet Chris Benoit for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.
We cut to the audience where we see our New lawyer AA (his name has yet to be revealed) and then we go back to the ring for a Peer-6 brawl between Umaga and MW3. MW3 was getting beat down until the 5 minute mark when he got Umaga up and gave him a piledriver from the top rope. By the time he got over to make the cover, he only got a 2 count. The match went another 5 minutes when MW3 tossed Umaga over the top rope and he landed on his head. Umaga immediately grabbed his neck. It appears that he has broken his neck. The ref calls for the bell and this match is over. MW3 wins the match. Armando swears revenge against MW3. After being examined, it is determined that Umaga is out for the rest of the year.
Next we have Donnie B taking on Test. Donnie B seemed determined. Test seemed bored. Donnie B hit two consecutive DDT’s but that didn’t seem to faze Test. Test hit the Pump Handle Slam at the 2 minute mark and pinned Donnie B with the help of the ropes. Test is the winner.
JBL vs. Handsome G was next. JBL went on about how he was a wrestling god. That bit of rambling actually went on longer than this match. I’ll give it to Handsome G though; he sure knows how to take a beating. Finally when JBL was tired of beating up on G, he pinned him with a lariat. JBL then stated that he is now the #1 contender for the World Title. He will get his match with Michaels and reclaim his gold.
Next we have Batista defending the TV title against Konan. Konan came out with one of his cronies. Every time Batista went for a pinfall (and believe me, there were lots), the masked crony kept putting Gonad’s leg on the rope. Finally Batista had enough. He delivered a Batista Bomb and after the crony put Konan’s leg on the rope again, Batista pulled Konan to the center of the ring where he got the 3 count.
Out then comes Bobby Lashley to defend the US title against the Super Warrior. This was another one sided match as SW only got one offensive move in during the 8 minute match. Lashley was just too powerful for the SW and Bobby retains the title by getting the pin in the middle of the ring.
Our next match did not go much longer either as Christian Cage took on Negronomicon. N really held his own until he was kicked in the groin numerous times by Christian. Christian connected with the Unprettier but N kicked out. Cage then hit N with another groin shot and Negronomicon curled up into a ball. Christian made the cover and got the 3 count.
Next, the Tag Team titles are on the line as Kane and the Big Show defend the titles against the Hardy Boyz. Big Show and Kane showed no ring rust as they kept up with the faster Hardys. Matt and Jeff got the only double team in but it just wasn’t enough to keep the champions down. Big show gets the win for his team with a chokeslam to retain the tag team titles. It will be interesting to see who takes on the champs next.
In the back, HHH was congratulating is DX partner Shawn Michaels on his World Title win. HHH asked Shawn if he would be accompanying him down but Shawn said he had too much on his mind with his upcoming match against RVD. He needed to get himself ready. HHH looked disappointed. HHH reminded Shawn that DX is bigger then them both and any title. Shawn barely acknowledged him. Upon his departure from the back, HHH runs into JBL. JBL says that he is going to beat Michaels to become the next World Champion. HHH said that, come to think of it, he should get himself back into the world title picture. This got Shawn’s attention. Shawn tried to talk HHH out of it and JBL stated that he won his match tonight. HHH hasn’t even met up with the Genetic Freak yet. Maybe he should concentrate on that match before setting his sights on something else. Shawn agreed that if HHH beats Steiner, then he and JBL can fight it out to see who the #1 contender would be.
We cut to the ring and are ready to start our next match: HHH vs. Scott Steiner. Steiner took control early of the match after JBL came down to ringside. HHH battled back but got locked into the Steiner recliner followed up by a Frankensteiner. Steiner went for the pin but only got a 2 count. HHH gave Steiner a low blow and then followed it up with a Pedigree. He went for the pin but Steiner kicked out at 1. HHH followed it up with another pedigree and this time Steiner stayed down. HHH got the pin in the middle of the ring. After the match, JBL ran in to attack HHH but he was ready for him and showed JBL the outside of the ring. JBL cursed at HHH as he went up the ramp.
Another promotional match was next: AJ Styles vs. Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett hit the Stroke early but AJ battled back with a fury of kicks and punches. Styles took control of the match and ended up getting the win with a spin kick.
Our Clash of the Champions match was next: RVD vs. Shawn Michaels. This was another great Michaels performance. You could tell that both men wanted it but only one wanted it more. At one point in the match, RVD went up to the top rope and as he came down, he took a superkick right to the face. If it wasn’t for a great ring presence, it would have been all over. At this time HHH comes down. Michaels was unsure as to HHH’s intentions. HHH gave Michaels the “thumbs up” and Michaels went back to the match. Unfortunately for him, RVD was waiting on the top rope and nailed a flying dropkick. RVD got the 3 count in the middle of the ring thereby enabling him to fight Chris Benoit for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship at the end of the evening.
The CSWA Cruiserweight Championship was on the line as the champion Shannon Moore took on the returning Texas Hammer Jay Mack. This match lasted a whole 3 minutes. Mack gets the win and becomes the NEW Cruiserweight Champion after locking in a sleeper hold on Moore who had no choice but to tap out.
Edge vs. John Cena was next on the card. Cena wins by CO after Edge left the ring (4 minutes). Cena demands a rematch. Donnie B comes out and makes the match for the next house show. At this point, Test comes out and claims that it should be he who gets the IC title shot. Donnie B says that Test vs. John Cena will be the first match on the card. He who wins the match will receive a “No Countout” match against Edge.
Samoa Joe vs. the Sandman: The match was changed to a Lights Out/Anything Goes rules. Sandman hits a suplex and is all proud of himself. Joe hits Sandman with a loaded glove and then locks in the rear naked choke. Sandman taps out at the 1 minute mark. This was the shortest match of the PPV. Samoa Joe then issues a challenge to RVD for a match. Joe says that he will do whatever it takes to get his match. RVD then came out for his next match and agreed to give Samoa Joe his match.
Our final match of the evening has Chris Benoit defending the Undisputed Title against RVD. Both men put up a hell of a fight but having wrestled so much this show really took it out of RVD. Van Dam hit a 5 star frog splash and the Van Daminator but was unable to keep the champ down. After many minutes, Benoit knocks RVD out with the rolling suplexes and then gets the pin in the middle of the ring after him after connecting with the flying headbutt.
Just before going off the air, we heard a commotion coming from the back. It turns out that there is a mob of people just stomping away on someone. That someone is none other than MW3. Finally, the police and Donnie B come out to break it up and they are just too late. Donnie B immediately calls for an ambulance and MW3 is rushed to the hospital. We hope to have more information on his condition soon. Just as the cameras went off the air, we see Armando Alejandro Estrada yelling “I told you this would happen. Ha Ha.”
That’s all for now. Stay tuned for the fallout from the PPV. Good Night.
HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 09.04 - The Aftermath
Hello fans. Welcome back to our newsletter. First off, we have a couple of pieces of news from the CSWA. First, Jeff Meyers told Donnie B that he really needed a vacation. Donnie B acknowledged this and said that they should work out a temporary replacement for GM. After a discussion with Donnie B, it was decided that the person filling in would be our on-staff attorney Arthur Apodaca. Mr. Apodaca met with the CSWA staff to fill them in on what was going on. He said that certain things had be a bit lax under Mr. Meyers’ watch and he would be the person to right all the wrongs.
Mr. Apodaca made his way down to the ring in front of the live audience. His first piece of business was to let everyone know that they would refer to him as the “Face” of CSWA. He went on to state that he had a few announcements that he was going to make.
First, he stated that at the PPV (which he watched from the audience) that Konan was robbed of a title that he should have clearly won. Batista had pulled Konan off the ropes and then pinned him. What should have happened was that the ref should have broken the hold and not allowed Batista to pull him off the ropes. He then stated that Konan would be given an immediate rematch at the next house show.
He then re-introduced KURT ANGLE back into the fold. That’s right. Angle is back from his brief hiatus. Angle was then brought down to the ring where he was handed a mic. “I am glad to be back here in the CSWA. I needed some time off to get my head on straight. I am back now at 100% and am ready to pick up where I left off. I am announcing my interest in meeting Shawn Michaels in the ring when ever he is ready to give me my title shot; a title that I never lost.” This of course prompted Shawn Michaels to make his way down to the ring. “Kurt, welcome back. I’m glad to see you back in the ring. Now, as for this title shot you are asking for. It’s not going to happen. You see, I’ve got both JBL and my best friend HHH already demanding shots at my title. Get in line and wait your turn. I’m sure that in a few months you’ll be ready for the main event once again.” The “Face” got on his own mic. “Shawn, I’ll let you know up front that I will not tolerate any one man thinking that they can make their own rules. In fact, Kurt, why don’t you explain to Mr. Michaels what my rules entail?” With that, Kurt attacked Shawn and started beating him pillar to post. Shawn reversed a whip and caught Angle with a back body drop. The “Face” jumped on Shawn’s back and was promptly dumped on his ass. Angle got up and caught Shawn with a Angle Slam. Angle then picked back up the mic. “Shawn, I’ll be seeing you; sooner rather than later.”
Another announcement was on its way as Armando Alejandro Estrada made his way to ringside. He got on the mic. “Everyone listen, ha ha, to me. My name is Armando Alejandro Estrrrrrada. It was unfortunate that my monster Umaga was taken out so early. Therefore, I have gotten a new monster to take his place. Everyone, meet… Abyss!” Abyss then came out and was looking very impressive. “One more thing I must say. Abyss is NOT locked in to one federation or another. He will be making appearances on both HWF and CSWA shows.” This was a huge announcement as this will be the first time any one wrestler who is not the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion to not be brand specific. Abyss was then sent to the back and told to make his presence known. As luck would have it, the first person Abyss would run into was the Super Warrior. Warrior walked right up to Abyss and started grunting. Abyss took it as an insult and starting beating the holy hell out of SW. Abyss ended the confrontation by chokeslamming SW through a table. I’m sure SW will have something to say about this once he wakes up.
Over in the HWF, Samoa Joe’s request for a title shot against World Heavyweight Champion RVD had been grated. This announcement prompted Shelton Benjamin to come down and once again inform us that he held the “Money in the back” contract and would take that title shot when he was good and ready. He went on to state that if HE was the world champion, then it would also have been HIM that would have beaten Chris Benoit and taken the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship off his waist. This of course prompted the UH champion to come down to ringside. He told Benjamin that if he thought he could beat him, why not give it a shot now? Benjamin said that he would beat Benoit anytime, anywhere. Benoit said that he would give Benjamin a shot at this title (keeping in mind that usually only World Champions can go after this title) IF Benjamin would put his “MITB” contract on the line. Benjamin refused and started to walk away but then jumped Benoit from behind. Benoit hit a huge clothesline on Shelton and went immediately for the crippler crossface but Shelton managed to get out of the ring. As Shelton walked to the back, he kept saying that Benoit would pay. Benoit held the ropes open hoping Benjamin would come back but no such luck.
Our next few house shows are shaping up. These matches are expected to take place this week. You will be able to read those results here.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 10.1 - The Aftermath
Hello fans, welcome back to the latest installment of our newsletter. We are trying to make sure we are reporting news in a timely fashion because that is what you, the fans, want. We will do our best to make sure you hear about it all first.
As expected, Super Warrior did indeed have a reply for the monster Abyss and his manager Armando Alejandro Estrada:
"Hear Me Warriors! So, it seems that the fat man that likes saying his name and dealing out those fake Cuban cigars has gone out and found himself a new monster. Those cigars must have some loco weed in them if you think for one minute that I am afraid of that big dumb brute. For you see, Warriors are made to fight monsters. That’s what we do best so prepare to be slain! Your monster will soon face his own Doomsday as he feels the full power and fury of Warrior Wildness which will send him back to the abyss of obscurity from whence he came."
We have had a few events take place over the last couple of weeks. In that time, we have seen quite a bit of action. Here are the results of those shows:
HWF Show
Shelton Benjamin retained his “Money in the Bank” contract against Billy Gunn. After the match, Chris Benoit came down and both men brawled briefly before Benjamin ran away.
Donnie B took on Negronomicon for a shot at Shelton Benjamin’s “Money in the Bank” contract. Donnie B wins with a neckbreaker and the pin in the middle of the ring. This win allows Donnie B a shot at Benjamin’s contract. Donnie B then called out Chris Benoit and challenged him. The winner of this match would go on to face Shelton for his “spot”. Benoit had to agree to the stipulation that if he beats Donnie B but loses to Shelton , the belt would be forfeit. Donnie B said he would not allow the title to be put on the line against a non-world champion. Benjamin was just a tad upset with this.
Randy Orton def. Carlito with an RKO (and his feet on the ropes) in what was a very short match. After the match, Carlito leveled Randy with a steel chair. Carlito then went and got an apple and spit it in the face of Orton. Orton was left in the ring and he was pissed. He was so upset at Carlito that he challenged him for a match at the upcoming PPV.
John Cena def. Test to become the #1 contender for Edge’s IC title. After the match, Edge jumped in the ring and blindsided Cena. John battled back and got Edge up in the F-U but Edge managed to wiggle out of it and took off like a scalded dog.
Edge def. Sting by CO in a non-title match. Edge came back out after Cena had left. This match only went 3 minutes as Edge and Sting battled on the outside of the ring and just before the ref counted to 10, Edge tossed Sting into the steps and then rolled back in just as the ref counted 10. Sting was counted out. Cena then came in from the audience and he ended up chasing Edge to the back.
Undertaker def. Scott Steiner to become #1 contender for the North American Title held by Sting. Steiner tried to hold his own and even hit the Frankensteiner a few times but in the end, he fell victim to the Tombstone piledriver.
The Main Event:
Christian Cage and Monty Brown vs. Big Show and Kane for the World Tag Team Titles. Cage and Brown control most of match. Cage kicks Show in groin twice while Monty Brown hits Kane w/ Pounce and knocks him clear out of the ring. Cage rolls Show up for the 1-2-3. We have NEW Tag Team Champs. After the match, Brown had a meeting with Donnie B. It was determined that Brown’s contract had expired. Monty was signed quickly to a temporary contract. Donnie B and Monty will have a meeting to determine his future status.
CSWA Show
Super Warrior got his match finally against the monster Abyss. Both men battled it out with Abyss controlling most of the match. Out of nowhere, SW hits his signature move and ends up pining Abyss with the Super Powerslam. After the match, Abyss started to go crazy and knocked out SW. He then took SW to the outside of the ring where he connects a Blackhole Slam through the ringside table. SW was dazed temporarily but as he sat up (ala Kane and the Undertaker), Abyss had a glint of uncertainty in his eyes. Armando and Abyss left quickly.
Konan is granted another title shot against Batista for the TV title. The ref was clearly in the pocket of Konan as he slow counted Batista every single time he went for a pin attempt. Finally, Konan (who has been getting his ass handed to him for the second time) manages to toss Batista to the outside of the ring where a lackey of Konan handcuffs Batista to the ring post. Konan wins the TV title via CO. Batista was totally screwed over in this match by the ref and “The Face”. After the match, Batista went to the back to confront "The Face" but gets the door slammed in his face instead. I don’t think we’ve heard the last of this.
Bradshaw def. HHH to become the #1 contender for the CSWA World Title. Bradshaw was totally in control and even had a few moves to show “The Game”. He won the match after hitting Hunter with the Clothesline from Hell. After the match, HHH looked for Shawn but he was nowhere to be found.
Sabu vs. Ric Flair ended in a time limit draw. This match had old school vs. old written all over it. Hopefully we won’t have to see these two meet again.
Handsome G def. Jay Mack via CO to become the NEW Cruiserweight Champion. Handsome G managed to toss Mack to the outside of the ring where both men brawled before Handsome G was able to make it back into the ring prior to the 10 count. The ref counted Mack out and awarded the match and the title to Handsome G. I think “The Face” had something to do with this but until we are sure, we won’t be accusing anyone.
The Main Event:
Jeff Jarrett def. Bobby Lashley to become the NEW US Heavyweight Champion. Jeff managed a comeback after getting the tar beat out of him. Lashley had Jarrett beat but it seems that crooked refs are running loose in the CSWA. Jarrett beat Lashley after connecting with the “Stroke” and then blatantly pulled Lashley’s tights to steal the win and the US Heavyweight Championship.
"The Face" comes down to address the fans as well as the wrestlers backstage. "Let me set the record straight. No wrestler, be it Shawn Michaels or Batista, can tell me what to do or what rules to follow. I create my own rules. Effective immediately, I am doing away with the rule where you lose a title on a countout. Anyone who wants to cry about it can quit. So Pretty, So Pretty.”
Paul London def Charlie Haas to become the number one contender for the Cruiserweight Title. This prompted Jay Mack to come out and state that as the former champion, he should automatically get a rematch. London disagreed. This prompted “The Face” to order these two men to fight for the right to face Handsome G for the Cruiserweight Championship.
Combined HWF/CSWA Show:
AJ Styles vs. Booker T for the #1 contender for the X-division title held by Samoa Joe. AJ and Booker T had a great match. Both men traded the upper hand many times throughout the course of the match. In the end, the (5-time) former WCW World Champion Booker T beat Styles after connecting with the Bookend and then grabbed some tights to make sure he got the 3 count.
The Hardy Boys vs. Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero jr.: This match was pretty painful to watch but the dissention between Mysterio and Guerrero was put on hold as the two former friends tried to push back the threat of the two brothers. In the end, Matt Hardy gets the win with a flying fist drop from the top rope. After the match, Chavo and Rey argued back and forth and even came to blows. The refs had to break it up.
Raven vs. William Regal: Fortunately, Regal had on enough clothes that there were no more surprises. This match was eventually won by Regal but also had the 1st appearance by a newly signed wrestler to the CSWA: Fit Finley. Finley attacked Raven after the match beating him down with his shillelagh.
Christopher Daniels and Rhino vs. Team 3D: Poor Rhino never got a chance to make it into the ring. Team 3D proved to everyone why they are one of the greatest tag teams in the world. Bubba connected with a Bubba bomb and Devon made sure Rhino stayed on the outside as the 3 count was made. Team 3D will go on to meet the Hardy’s to determine the #1 contender for the tag team titles.
Kevin Nash and Hardcore Holly vs. Tommy Dreamer and Cactus Jack: Unfortunately, this match never took place as Holly blatantly attacked Nash just as Cactus Jack was beating the snot out of Tommy Dreamer. I guess we will see future singles matches from all these men.
Dual Main Events:
RVD vs. Samoa Joe for the HWF World Heavyweight Championship. Finally, Joe was getting what he wanted: A shot at the HWF World Heavyweight title. Booker T came down to scout the X-division champion and even interfered a few times. RVD connected with the Van Daminator and followed it up with the 5 star Frog Splash to retain his title. After the match, Booker jumped Samoa Joe but was on the receiving end of a muscle buster. Booker got the heck out of there before anything else could happen.
In his return to the ring, Kurt Angle got his match against CSWA World Heavyweight Champion Shawn Michaels. Again, the crooked ref managed to get his spot as the ref in one of tonight’s main events. Michaels connected with the Sweet Chin Music but was unable to get the pin. Angle countered with the ankle lock but Shawn was to resilient and would not tap. Finally, Kurt broke out his signature move and connected with the Angle Slam. A very quick 1-2-3 and we have a NEW CSWA World Heavyweight Champion. Shawn could not believe what had happened. “The Face” came back out and told Michaels that if he wanted to cry about it, he could but his reign as world champion was done as far as he was concerned.
That is all for now. We hope to have more updates later
HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 12.1
Hello fans. We had hoped to have these things going out on a weekly basis but unfortunately, we have been all tied up doing matches and holding shows all over the US. Starting with this issue, we will start to recap the matches than have all taken place over the last 6 weeks and get you up to speed.
Over in the CSWA, Batista had made his way down to ringside and took the mic. “Konan, I seen your mouth moving but I don’t hear you talking. I’m sure that “The Face” has his hand so far up your ass that he can make your mouth move. Who would have ever thought that they would see this: a ventriloquist with a human dummy. Can he drink water while you speak?”
This prompted both “The Face” and Konan to come to the ramp. “The Face” got on to his own mic and had these words for the former champ: “Batista, while on my watch, I won’t have you disrespect a fine man like Konan like that. In fact, since you are in the ring and seem to want a fight, I’ll give you one. Here are your TWO opponents for the evening.” Out from the back came the former tag team champions Kane and the Big Show. “The Face” made it clear that whomever pins Batista will get a shot at Konan’s TV title. Konan looked concerned and claimed discrimination but “The Face” reassured him that he would not have to defend the TV title until the PPV. This made Konan feel a little better.
Batista took on Big Show and Kane in what had appeared to be a squash match but with bickering going on between Show and Kane, they lost track of what they were supposed to do – take out Batista. Dave got tossed out of the ring by Show but it was Kane that followed Batista to the floor. Batista reversed an irish whip and sent Kane tumbling into the stairs. Dave got back in the ring and hit Big Show with a huge spear. Batista then set Show up for the Batista Bomb and CONNECTED in the middle of the ring. Dave went for the pin and got the 1-2-3 and was announced as the winner of the match and the man who would go on to the PPV to meet Konan.
“The Face” was not happy with this and promptly fired the ref. He said that Batista could not lay one hand on Konan prior to the PPV or he would not only lose his title shot but would be suspended indefinitely.
Lurking in the back, we see a man walking around with a hood over his face. The camera never gets close enough to see the person’s face. All in good time I guess.
Kane and Big Show had words in the back and even had a brief shoving match. Both men stated that they could beat the other and finally were met by “The Face”. He stated that since neither man could defeat Batista, they would have a match against each other at the PPV. The loser, though, would be forced to retire.
The Hardy’s vs. Team 3D for #1 contender for World Tag Team titles was another match that took place. Both teams put on a hell of a show. The Hardys were on the verge of getting the win until interference from the new team of William Regal and Fit Finley stopped the Hardy’s momentum. Bubba and Devon connected with the 3D to become the #1 contenders for the tag titles. This of course prompted Regal and Finley to ask for a match to see if they could defeat Team 3D. Devon agreed and said that next week, they would get their match.
Scott Steiner comes out and gets on the mic and says that he is fed up with wrestling. He says that he wants an opponent for the PPV to beat down prior to his last match (which is also when his contract expires). Negronomicon comes down and accepts the challenge. If Negronomicon wins, Steiner says that he will retire for good and never step back in the ring. Of course, this will have to be a no DQ match. Negronomicon has 2 weeks to prepare for this match. Our prayers are with him.
Stay tuned. More will follow.
HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 12.2
Our top story today is the training that Negronomicon has chosen to go through for his upcoming match against the human steroid machine Scott Steiner. Negronomicon searched high and low (well, actually he just used the yellow pages) and finally was able to find someone who could train him and prepare him for what could be the most important match of his career. He was able to find a man who is considered Canada’s greatest athlete. It was none other than Iron Mike Sharpe.
Our first vignette has Negronomicon making the journey to Asbury Park, NJ to find the man who was at one time considered to be one of Canada’s greatest to ever lace up a pair of boots. Negronomicon of course gets lost but he just so happens to have his iPAQ travel companion (GPS) (cheap plug for HP) with him and is able to make it to Mike’s gym without getting mugged.
Jay Mack challenges Paul London to see who will be the #1 contender for the Cruiserweight title. London was in control for half the match but after a botched shooting star press, Mack took over and leveled London with the Texas Hammer. Mack gets the win and gets the shot at Handsome G for the Cruiserweight title.
Donnie B called down Chris Benoit and reminded him of his challenge. Benoit agreed and then the bell rang to begin the match. Donnie B and Benoit locked up but Donnie B just fell to the mat. Benoit made the cover and got the 3 count. Chris Benoit def. Donnie B for the shot at Shelton Benjamin’s Money in the Bank contract with NO title on the line. Donnie B gets on the mic and tells Benjamin that Benoit won the match fair and square and that Benoit will get his shot at the last show prior to the ppv. Before Benoit could leave the ring, Donnie B stopped him and asked him for a favor. “At the final PPV of the year, I know that you will have your hands full with defending your Undisputed Heavyweight Title and all but I’d like to ask you this: I would like to have a match with you at the PPV. Nothing special; just a match. What do you think?” Benoit stuck out his hand and Donnie B shook it in agreement.
Team 3D accepted the challenge from Finley and Regal. Team 3D controlled the match while Regal was in the ring but if Finley got in, they got into trouble. Just as the Dudley’s were getting ready to hit the 3D on Regal, a little leprechaun by the name of Lil’ Bastard jumped in and used a shillelagh against the knee of Bubba Ray. Finley makes the tag in and decimated the Dudley. Regal took out Devon while Fit Finley beat the snot out of Bubba. The ref finally called the match as it appeared that Bubba was not going to be able to continue. Finley and Regal are now the #1 contenders for the World Tag Team titles.
Samoa Joe def. Viscera to retain the X-division title. As the match ended, Booker T came out and said that his match was next and Joe needed to get his fat ass out of the ring. Joe said that he would remain at ringside to make sure Booker minded his manners.
Booker T def. AJ Styles with help of the ropes to retain his #1 contender spot for the X-division title. After the match, Samoa Joe got in the ring and had words with Booker. Enough “shirts” came in from the back to make sure that this didn’t go any further.
The Main Event: Cactus Jack vs. Tommy Dreamer (loser must retire). It was decided just before the match to make this a Steel Cage Match. The only way to win this match though was via pinfall. There would be no submissions and it did not matter if you got of the cage or not. Both men have plenty of experience in cages so this was nothing new for either of these two hardcore legends. This match surely did not disappoint. Both men went right at each other and within minutes, both were bleeding heavily. This match really got interesting when Dreamer threw Cactus Jack THROUGH the cage wall tearing it from the hinges. Chants of “Holy Shit” could be heard even in the furthest bathrooms. Cactus managed to get to his feet and clobber Dreamer with the chair. He continued to beat down on him until the ref took the chair away and ordered him back into the ring. Cactus dragged the bloody carcass of Dreamer back into the ring. He then dumped a bag of thumbtacks in the ring as well as pulling out a table wrapped in barb wire. Cactus lit the table on fire and then tossed Dreamer into it. This time the “Holy Shit” chants would be heard across the street. Dreamer was all cut up and bleeding from the barb wire. It appeared that he couldn’t even stand. Just as Cactus was going to clock him in the head with the barbwire bat, Dreamer gave Cactus a swift kick to the nuts and Cactus went down. Dreamer, getting a surge of adrenalin, managed to handcuff Cactus to one of the remaining cage walls. Cactus had nowhere to go. Dreamer went to each corner and unsecured the cage wall from the post. He then got out of the ring and climbed the outside of the cage and unhooked the last part of the cage wall. He then held on for dear life as the cage wall collapsed inward sandwiching Cactus between the cage he was attached to and the mat – and right on top of those thumbtacks. Dreamer climbed on top of the Cage/Cactus/thumbtack/mat sandwich and the ref came over and counted the 1-2-3. The match was over and Cactus Jack must now retire. Medics came down and helped Dreamer to a stretcher. They took great care in getting Cactus Jack out of the ring. This I would have to say would have been one of the greatest matches I have ever seen. This might have been a loss for Cactus Jack but would have had to be one of the crowning moments of his career. Take Care Cactus Jack.
The next issue will recap HWF matches. Stay Tuned for more.
HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 12.3 – HWF Stuff
Vignette #2 – Negronomicon being trained by Iron Mike Sharpe. You hear a lot of grunting and growling from Iron Mike. Guess he’s doing his best to get Negronomicon ready. We get clips of Negronomicon running through a military training ground, dragging boulders from one spot to another and even meet up with World’s Strong Man champion Magnus ver Magnussen. Magnus helps out hooking up Negronomicon to the bus that he has to pull. After the workout, we see Negronomicon drinking some lemonade and offers Magnus two tickets to the Starcade PPV. We’re not quite sure but I think Magnus whispers under his breath “cheapskate”. But then again, what can you expect from someone who needs lots of padding around the ring to protect himself if he falls out of the ring?
Edge challenges the Undertaker for the shot at Sting’s North American Title. Undertaker wins the challenge via DQ (Edge hit Undertaker with a chair) to become the #1 contender to Sting’s NA title
Abyss annihilates Steven Richards. After the match Super Warrior interferes and both men brawl through the stands.
Scott Steiner makes short work of the Sandman. Steiner gets on the mic and claims that this will be Negronomicon come the PPV.
Shelton Benjamin and Sting battle to a time limit draw. After the match, Chris
Benoit comes out and Benjamin runs off through the crowd.
Monty Brown def. Kevin Nash in singles competition with the Pounce.
Test def. Christian Cage with the help of the ropes.
Donnie B def. the Hurricane
Hardcore Holly def. Billy Gunn
Main Event:
Booker T vs. Samoa Joe for the X Division title. Many people were of course looking forward to this match. Booker used all his wrestling knowledge and skill but it just wasn’t up to the level of pain and anguish that Joe brought with him. Booker connected with several bookends and scissor kicks but the Samoan Submission Machine would not stay down. Joe finally got Booker down and locked in the Rear Naked Choke. Booker was fading fast and had to do something so he put his feet on the ropes and actually put Joe’s shoulders to the mat. The ref saw the shoulders down and counted the 1-2-3. Joe was pinned. Booker has defeated Samoa Joe for the X-division title. Joe was furious and hurled the ref out of the ring OVER the top rope! Joe went right back at Booker but Donnie B came out and stopped the brawl. “Let me get one thing straight here. Booker, your feet were cleanly on the ropes. Why the ref counted is beyond me. Joe, you were pinned. The ref counted you down. Now, I’m not one to let controversy sway my decision so what I am doing now is holding up the X-division title and the two of you will meet at Starcade to decide once and for all who the legitimate champion is. Also, the two of you will have to stay away from each other between now and then or you will lose your opportunity for this match. If one of you gets into trouble, you both are out of the match. So I suggest you watch each others backs between now and then.”
CSWA info to follow.
HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 12.4 – CSWA stuff
Even though this is supposed to be strictly CSWA stuff, we had to air the final vignette from Negronomicon with his trainer Iron Mike Sharpe. Negronomicon looks good after his 2 weeks of preparation. Steiner might actually have some competition. Sharpe has honed the Negronomicon into a lean (well, not so much lean), mean (actually he’s even tempered) fighting machine (he doesn’t have much choice now does he). Sharpe says that this is the best he is going to get. Sharpe does offer one solid piece of advice “Don’t be the glorified jobber I was.” Good solid advice from a glorified jobber. The end of the vignette has Sharpe, Negronomicon and some of his (N’s) harem sitting around drinking Klingon Blood Wine (yes, they ended up at a Star Trek Convention).
The matches on the card included:
Jay Mack def. Charlie Haas
Randy Orton def. Paul London in singles action. After the match, Carlito came down and dumped apple sauce all over Orton.
Handsome G retains the Cruiserweight title against Justin Credible
Big Show wins via DQ against Bubba Ray Dudley after Kane interfered.
Kane loses by CO against Devon Dudley after Big Show’s interference.
Carlito and Raven battle to a time limit draw. After the match, Orton runs into the ring and hits Carlito with the RKO.
HHH and Shawn Michaels lose to Kurt Angle and JBL. After the match, JBL catches Angle with a Clothesline from Hell and tells him he will see him at the PPV. “The Face” stops Michaels and HHH from leaving and tells them that they can’t go just yet. They have one more match and in fact, they are in the main event tonight.
Ric Flair def. Val Venis via submission to the figure 4.
Jeff Jarrett gets himself intentionally disqualified at the beginning of his match with Shannon Moore.
SW loses to Rhyno after Abyss interfered
Konan def. Mike Knox in a non-title match. Batista appeared on the ramp but did not approach the ring.
Christopher Daniels challenges Bobby Lashley to see who gets the title shot at Jeff Jarrett.
MW3 is at the show. He appears in much better shape than we last saw him. This show also featured the return of Umaga.
Main Event: Umaga and Abyss with Armando Alejandro Estrada def. HHH and Shawn Michaels. After the match, MW3 jumps into the ring to brawl with Umaga and Abyss feuds with SW and HHH and Shawn also fight.
HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 12.5
This issue is just a short one as we just found out that some wrestlers have been released. Those people released from their contracts include Steven Richards, Val Venis, Sandman, Justin Credible. We wish them all the best of luck in their future endeavors.
The Samoa Joe/Booker T alliance is shaky at best. No one is wanting to get into the middle of this for fear of losing anything they may have at stake at the PPV. The tension is so thick that you can cut it with a knife.
Only one match of consequence took place. It was a tag match between MW3 and the Super Warrior against Abyss and Umaga. This match ended up getting thrown out as the ref lost control. Actually, he never had control and this was just a plain old slobberknocker. Suits from the back came out to break it up.
Just before the show ended, Scott Steiner came on and said he would have a surprise announcement to be made next show. Stay tuned.
More to follow.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter Year 2 – 12.7 – Starcade is here!!!!
Hello fans and welcome to the final PPV of the year. We had a turnout which set all kinds of records for us. We thank you immensely for joining us live and subscribing to our newsletter. We really appreciate your support. On to the PPV notes:
One match that took place was added to the PPV (instead of a house show) at the last minute. That match was Christopher Daniels vs. Bobby Lashley for the opportunity to meet CSWA US Champion Jeff Jarrett for the championship. Bobby easily overpowered his opponent but Daniels was clearly the better wrestler in this match up. Lashley hit a Dominator early on but Daniels knew exactly where he was and was able to kick out. Daniels then turned up the steam and went to work on Bobby. Daniels connected with the Angels Wings and went for a pin but Lashley kicked out. Daniels then hit the Angels Wings another 2 consecutive times and this time Bobby was unable to get up and Daniels got the 1-2-3 and gets the opportunity to go on to meet Jeff Jarrett later in the show.
At this point, the US champ himself Jeff Jarrett came down and said that he wanted to have his match right here and now. It didn’t matter to him that Daniels just went 15 minutes with Bobby Lashley. Daniels had to take the title shot here and now or JJ would win by forfeit. Daniels, exhausted, agreed. Unfortunately for him, he was far too tired to mount much of a defense so JJ easily defeated his challenger….but not until he hit Daniels with the guitar. In fact, he hit the challenger 5 times with the guitar before Daniels was unable to get up. Jarrett retained the title via pinfall at the 25 minute mark.
Our second match of the night was HHH vs. Shawn Michaels. This match is taking place because HHH feels that Shawn is no longer watching his back. Shawn took the match to Hunter and easily dominated him and got the pin fairly quickly after HHH was unable to get up after being on the receiving end of Sweet Chin Music.
Next on the card was RVD defending the HWF World Heavyweight Championship against AJ Styles. You could really tell that RVD did not want to be in this match. He appeared to be very sloppy in the ring almost to the point of intentionally trying to injure Styles. Styles got pretty ticked off at him and hurled him out of the ring. RVD decided that he no longer wanted to be in this match and walked off. RVD ended up getting counted out and AJ Styles won the match by CO. The belt does not change hands on a count out so he will go on to meet the winner of the next match.
Kurt Angle then came out to defend the CSWA title against Bradshaw. JBL worked his way up the ladder to get to this point so he was pretty happy to finally get a shot at the world champion. Unfortunately for him, just as the bell rang, Kurt charged JBL but the challenger tossed the champ right to the outside of the ring. At this point, former world champion Shawn Michaels came down and started right after Kurt. Kurt, not wanting to be on the receiving end of Shawn’s vengeance, he bolted straight to the back. Kurt gets counted out at the 30 second mark. If this had been under Mr. Meyers watch, Kurt would have lost the title but since the fed is being managed by “The Face” now, he eliminated that rule so Kurt retains his belt.
Shawn makes his way back to the ring where he gets on the mic trying to call Kurt back to the ring. JBL gets in his face claiming Shawn cost him the match and the belt. Shawn ignored JBL until JBL got pissed enough to hit Michaels with a Clothesline from Hell. This prompted HHH to come down and pull JBL off of Shawn. HHH left the ring with a very ticked off JBL. Shawn eventually left when he finally figured Kurt was not coming back. Just as he was leaving the ring, “The Face” makes his first appearance of the night and told Shawn that he was to leave the building immediately. He would decide later if he would suspend Shawn for his actions tonight.
Our next match of the evening was the inter-promotional match which had the tag team champions Christian Cage and Monty Brown defend the titles against William Regal and Fit Finley. It was kinda funny that neither Brown nor Regal did that well in the ring whereas Christian and Finley stole the show. This match had lots of potential but Brown got bored really quick and grabbed Christian and they left for the back. Regal and Finley win the match by CO but do not win the belts. Based on their performance in the ring, I would think that Regal and Finley will be back very soon as top contenders for the titles.
The next match was a Loser must Retire Match between Big Show and Kane. Kane started off like a mad man connecting with a clothesline off the top rope. Big Show battled back and after connecting with an eye rake, he tossed Kane right out of the ring. As Kane tried to get back in the ring, Show met him with a huge headbutt. Show followed Kane to the outside of the ring and connected with a Cutting Edge on the arena floor. Just as Show rolled back in, the ref was about to count to 10 but once Show was back in the ring, he just started over giving Kane some needed recovery time. Finally Kane makes it back into the ring and this time drives Show’s head right into the corner post. Big Show has been bloodied. Kane pulls Show to the outside of the ring where he connects with a Chokeslam right through the announcers table. Kane rolls back into the ring where he stops the count and then goes back to inflict more damage on his former partner. Show delivers a blatant groin shot to Kane and then hits a Chokeslam of his own…on the exposed concrete floor. Both men eventually make it back in the ring and Big Show is waiting. He hits a huge chokeslam on Kane and goes for the cover. The ref makes the count 1…2…Kane KICKS OUT! Holy Crap! Big Show tries for another Cutting Edge but Kane reverses it into a chokeslam of his own. He then picks up Big Show and delivers and old fashioned piledriver (not the tombstone version as he couldn’t get the 500lbs of girth up). Kane make the cover and as the ref counts 1-2-3 he declares Kane the winner and Big Show must retire. Both men reluctantly shook hands and then finally embraced. Big Show left the ring to the applause of the fans.
Another grudge match that took place was Rey Mysterio Jr taking on Chavo Guerrero Jr. in an “Peer 6 Brawl” match. Chavo had been interfering in quite a few of Rey’s matches in the past and this match was to settle this thing between the two of them. Chavo quickly caught Mysterio with a nice dropkick and then started to whip him with a belt. Mysterio would not give up. He then was tossed to the ropes and caught Chavo with a huge hurricaranna. Mysterio went for the pin but since this is a peer 6 brawl, you can’t get the pin that way. Mysterio then got Chavo in an abdominal stretch and held the ropes for extra leverage. This type of thing was normal in these type of matches so the ref had to allow it and could not make Rey break the hold. Somehow Chavo got up and took Rey to the top rope where he promptly tossed Rey from the top rope to the concrete floor below. Rey was in a tremendous amount of pain but did not appear to have broken anything. After a few minutes of getting pummeled, Rey finally managed to get the belt away from Chavo and started to whip him in the middle of the ring. Chavo could not get away so he had no other choice but to tap out. Rey Mysterio wins the match and hopefully this feud is done.
After the match had ended and both men left, Donnie B came out next for his match against Chris Benoit. Donnie B did not put up any offense until about the 5 minute mark. Benoit, throughout the match, had put Donnie B in the Crippler Crossface about 4 times but like the trooper he is, Donnie B would not quit. In fact, this match ended up going to the 18 minute mark and after connecting with the flying headbutt, Chris got the win. He helped Donnie B to his feet and both men shook hands. Benoit will be back later in the show to defend his Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.
Out next was the grudge match for the CSWA TV title. Konnan (he told us this is how he wanted his name spelled so we will do this for his sake) was set to take on rival Batista for the title with “The Face” as the special guest referee. This match was not very long as Batista connected with a Batista Bomb early on and Konnan appeared to be out cold. Batista made the cover and “The Face” had to reluctantly make the count. Just as “The Face’s” hand was coming down for the 3 count, Batista pulled up Konnan. “The Face” started to get into Batista’s face and then he just bitch slapped the former TV champion. Batista picked up the acting GM but before he could do anything, Konnan got up and gave Dave a blatant groin shot. Batista crumpled to the mat while Konnan went to the outside for a chair. Just as Konnan was going to deliver the chair shot, “The Face” stopped him. He didn’t want an athlete the caliber of Konnan (which must be pretty crappy) to get the cheap win that way. He took the chair from Konnan and then began to wallop Batista with it. Konnan just stood back while the GM pummeled his opponent for him. When he was sure Batista wasn’t getting up, he told Konnan to make the pin. He made a very slow 1-2-3 count and declared Konnan the winner and STILL the CSWA TV champion.
In the back, we see Mr. Meyers watching on the monitor. He is shaking his head in disgust. He went to “The Face’s” office and waited for him to return. Finally, the acting GM walked into his office and was pretty shocked to see Mr. Meyers there. Both men had words but “The Face” had control of the federation now and he had no plans to give up that control. Mr. Meyers then clocked “The Face” right in his face and left him on the floor with a bloody nose. Before leaving, Mr. Meyers stated “If this is the way you want to play it, so be it. I’ll be seeing you shortly.”
Donnie B had also been watching this and was able to talk to Mr. Meyers. It had been decided that Mr. Meyers would pick a wrestler of his choosing and “The Face” would pick one of his own. Both men would meet in the ring and that would decide who the future GM of the CSWA would be. Donnie B approached “The Face” with this and told him he did not want to execute executive control (this was put in just in case something like this or the “Ramon” incident could never happen again) so he explained how this was a good thing. “The Face” agreed immediately and said that he would go find himself a wrestler. Mr. Meyers had better go do the same.
