J.R.
Holland:
"Good evening, everyone, and welcome to another edition of HCW Shockwave!
I'm J.R. Holland alongside Clarkus 'C.K.' Kentus, and tonight marks a very
important night in Heritage Championship Wrestling."
C.K:
"Season One of Proving Grounds comes to an end tonight, J.R., and what a
success it's been. We've seen future stars make names for themselves, veterans
prove they still belong, and tonight one more group of competitors gets their
opportunity."
J.R.
Holland:
"Four exciting matches are scheduled, including the debut of Rick Rourke,
Felix Fable in singles competition, Luna Shadow taking on Twinkle, and our main
event featuring Nyx Evermore and Starla Nova against Lavender Gooms and Leslie
Grimes."
C.K.:
"And if the last several weeks have taught us anything, it's to expect the
unexpected whenever Lazarus Blackstar decides to make his presence known."
J.R.
Holland:
"Ladies and gentlemen, before the action gets underway, let's head to the
ring where HCW General Manager Max McGillicutty has an announcement regarding
the future of Proving Grounds."
Camera
cuts to the ring as Tony "Echo" Calibur stands by while HCW General
Manager Max McGillicutty makes his way to the ring to a warm ovation from the Savannah
crowd.
Max
McGillicutty stands in the center of the ring as the crowd applauds. He smiles
appreciatively before raising the microphone.
Max
McGillicutty:
"Thank you Savannah."
Another
round of applause fills the Enmarket Arena.
Max
McGillicutty:
"You know... when we introduced Proving Grounds earlier this year, we
honestly didn't know what to expect."
"We
believed in the concept."
"We
believed there were talented men and women just waiting for an
opportunity."
"But
none of us could have imagined just how successful this first season would
become."
The crowd
cheers.
Max
McGillicutty:
"Over the past several months, you've watched future stars earn their
chance to compete under the HCW banner."
"You've
watched prospects chase a dream."
"And
you've watched many of them become regular members of our roster."
"We
couldn't have done it without all of you."
The
audience applauds again.
Max
McGillicutty:
"So tonight..."
"...we
officially bring Season One of Proving Grounds to a close."
A
respectful ovation follows.
Max
McGillicutty:
"But don't worry..."
"This
isn't goodbye."
"It's
simply the end of one chapter."
"I'm
pleased to announce that Proving Grounds returns this September for
Season Two, where another class of hungry competitors will have the opportunity
to earn their place here in Heritage Championship Wrestling."
The fans
cheer loudly.
Max
McGillicutty:
"And because of everything we've learned this year..."
"...beginning
in 2027, Proving Grounds will become an annual event."
"Each
season, a new class of athletes will step through these ropes with one
goal..."
"...to
prove they belong."
Another
ovation.
Max
McGillicutty:
"To everyone who has competed..."
"To
every veteran who helped guide the next generation..."
"And
to every fan who supported this journey..."
"...thank
you."
Max
pauses, looking around the arena with a smile.
Max
McGillicutty:
"Now..."
"Let's
give Season One the ending it deserves."
"Tony..."
"Let's
get this show started."
Max hands
the microphone back to Tony "Echo" Calibur as the crowd gives him one
more appreciative round of applause. Max exits up the ramp, stopping briefly to
acknowledge several fans before disappearing backstage.
J.R.
Holland:
"A wonderful sentiment from our General Manager. Proving Grounds has
become one of the true success stories of 2026."
C.K.:
"And the best part? Every single competitor tonight knows this is their
last chance this season to leave a lasting impression."
J.R.
Holland:
"Let's head to the ring for our opening contest as one of HCW's newest
competitors makes his debut."
Tony
"Echo" Calibur stands in the center of the ring, ready to begin the
first match of the evening.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur stands in the center of the ring as the opening chords
of the first entrance theme hit.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall!"
The
Savannah crowd applauds as Julius Squeezer steps onto the stage. Wearing
a confident smile, Julius slaps hands with several fans along the entrance
aisle before jogging toward the ring. He pauses briefly on the apron, nodding
toward the audience, then steps between the ropes and raises an arm to
acknowledge the fans once more.
J.R.
Holland:
"Here's a young man who's made the most of every opportunity he's been
given. Julius Squeezer may not have the biggest résumé in HCW, but he never
backs down from a challenge."
C.K.:
"And tonight he's got a big one. A debuting competitor always brings an
element of the unknown, and Julius has no scouting report to work from."
Julius
settles into his corner as his entrance music fades.
A heavy
guitar riff suddenly echoes throughout the Enmarket Arena.
The
atmosphere changes immediately as "Ironclad" Rick Rourke
emerges from behind the curtain.
Rourke
surveys the arena with a cold, unwavering expression before beginning a
deliberate walk toward the ring. He ignores the fans reaching over the
barricade, never taking his eyes off the squared circle. His pace is steady,
confident, and methodical.
J.R.
Holland:
"And here he is—making his HCW debut—'Ironclad' Rick Rourke."
C.K.:
"I've been looking forward to seeing this man compete. Everything we've
heard says he's exceptionally tough, extremely disciplined, and carries himself
with a level of confidence that borders on arrogance."
J.R.
Holland:
"Confidence can take you a long way in this business. Tonight we'll find
out if Rick Rourke can back it up inside the ring."
Rourke
climbs the steel steps without acknowledging the crowd. He steps through the
ropes, removes his entrance jacket, and calmly hands it to the ringside
attendant before taking his corner. His eyes never leave Julius Squeezer.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur steps to the center of the ring.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"Introducing first... Julius Squeezer!"
The crowd
cheers.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"And his opponent... 'Ironclad' Rick Rourke!"
A mixed
reaction comes from the Savannah crowd as Rourke remains expressionless in his
corner.
The
official checks with both competitors before signaling for the opening bell.
Julius
Squeezer wastes no time taking the fight to the debuting Rick Rourke,
surprising the newcomer with a Steinerline that sends him sprawling across the
canvas. The Savannah crowd immediately gets behind Julius as he strings
together shoulder blocks and a series of rolling waistlock slams to keep Rourke
on the defensive.
J.R.
Holland:
"Julius Squeezer came ready tonight! He's not giving Rick Rourke any
opportunity to settle into this match."
C.K.:
"This is exactly what Julius needed to do. Make the newcomer
uncomfortable."
Rick
regains his composure and begins slowing the pace. A thunderous powerbomb
shifts the momentum before he plants Julius with a perfectly executed DDT.
The pace
quickens as Julius repeatedly answers Rourke's offense, countering another
powerbomb into a crushing Steinerline that nearly sends the Savannah crowd into
a frenzy.
J.R.
Holland:
"What a counter by Julius Squeezer!"
C.K.:
"He may have Rourke rattled for the first time tonight."
Julius
follows with another series of shoulder blocks before dropping into the cover.
One...
Rick
powers a shoulder off the mat.
The
momentum swings back and forth over the next several minutes. Julius refuses to
stay down, repeatedly answering Rourke's power offense with suplexes and
hard-hitting strikes, while Rick continues to punish him with DDTs, powerbombs,
and his devastating running powerslam, Pipe Dream.
After
surviving a close near-fall following Pipe Dream, Julius nearly steals
the match by reversing another pin attempt into one of his own.
One...
Two...
Rick
barely escapes.
J.R.
Holland:
"That was close! Julius Squeezer nearly spoiled Rick Rourke's debut!"
C.K.:
"Rourke's learning this isn't going to be as easy as he expected."
As both
competitors begin to show the effects of the battle, Julius attempts another
Rolling Reverse Waistlock Slam.
Rick slips
free.
BOOM!
Shutoff
Valve!
The
standing choke spinebuster drives Julius violently into the mat.
Rick hooks
the leg.
One...
Two...
Julius
kicks out again!
The
Savannah crowd erupts.
J.R.
Holland:
"How in the world did Julius survive that?"
C.K.:
"I'll give him credit... he's tougher than I thought."
Frustration
begins to creep across Rick Rourke's face.
Both men
spill to the outside after a wild exchange near the ropes.
As Referee
"Honest" Abe moves to maintain order, Rick briefly disappears
around the ring post. A split second later, Julius suddenly crumples to the
arena floor, clutching the side of his head.
J.R.
Holland:
"Wait a minute... what happened?"
C.K.:
"I... I couldn't see from here."
Oblivious
to whatever may have occurred, Abe immediately begins his count.
One...
Rick
calmly slides back into the ring.
Four...
Julius
struggles to his knees, clearly dazed.
Seven...
He reaches
for the apron...
Nine...
Julius
lunges...
TEN!
DING!
DING! DING!
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"Here is your winner... by count-out... 'Ironclad' Rick Rourke!"
Rick
Rourke has his hand raised but offers no celebration. Instead, he gives one
final glance toward Julius Squeezer before exiting the ring without
acknowledging the Savannah crowd.
J.R.
Holland:
"I don't know what happened outside the ring, but something certainly
didn't look right."
C.K.:
"Whether you agree with it or not, Rick Rourke leaves Savannah with a
victory in his HCW debut."
J.R.
Holland:
"Julius Squeezer gave everything he had tonight, but 'Ironclad' Rick
Rourke survives a very tough challenge in our opening contest."
The camera
cuts backstage where Ryan Mercer stands with "Ironclad" Rick Rourke,
who has barely broken a sweat despite the physical contest moments ago.
Ryan
Mercer:
"Rick Rourke, congratulations on a successful HCW debut. Julius Squeezer
gave you everything he had tonight. How would you assess your first match in
Heritage Championship Wrestling?"
Rick
Rourke:
"I expected a fight."
"I
got one."
"Julius
Squeezer has heart."
"But
heart doesn't win matches."
"Preparation
does."
"Discipline
does."
"And
above all..."
"Strength."
Rick
straightens the cuff of his wrist tape before looking directly into the camera.
Rick
Rourke:
"I didn't come to HCW looking for respect."
"I
came here to take opportunities away from everyone else."
"If
someone is standing where I intend to be..."
"They're
standing in the wrong place."
Rick
stares into the camera for another moment before calmly walking away.
Ryan
Mercer:
"Strong words from Rick Rourke following a successful debut."
J.R.
Holland:
"I'll say this for Rick Rourke—he certainly doesn't lack confidence."
C.K.:
"I like him."
"No
excuses."
"No
grand speeches."
"He
won."
"That's
what matters."
J.R.
Holland:
"Still to come tonight, Felix Fable is in action, Luna Shadow takes on
Twinkle, and in our main event, Nyx Evermore and Starla Nova battle Lavender
Gooms and Leslie Grimes."
The camera
returns to ringside as the lights dim and a smug grin spreads across the face
of Sterling Silverman as he steps onto the stage.
Dressed in
immaculate silver and white gear, Silverman pauses at the top of the entrance
ramp to admire himself before making his way toward the ring. He brushes off
the boos from the Savannah crowd with a dismissive wave and deliberately wipes
his boots on the ring apron before stepping through the ropes.
J.R.
Holland:
"Sterling Silverman has never lacked confidence."
C.K.:
"He shouldn't. The man believes he's destined for bigger things, and
frankly, I don't think he's wrong."
J.R.
Holland:
"Belief is one thing. Backing it up inside the ring is another."
Silverman
stretches in his corner, wearing an arrogant smile as he waits for his
opponent.
The mood
inside the Enmarket Arena immediately changes as Felix Fable emerges to
an enthusiastic ovation.
Felix
greets the fans on both sides of the aisle with a smile, taking a moment to
slap hands before jogging to the ring. He circles ringside with energy before
sliding under the bottom rope and climbing the nearest turnbuckle to
acknowledge the crowd.
J.R.
Holland:
"Felix Fable has quickly become one of the most popular young competitors
in HCW. The fans love his energy, and every time he steps into the ring, he
seems to improve."
C.K.:
"I'll admit he's talented, but eventually enthusiasm has to turn into
victories. Potential only carries you so far."
J.R.
Holland:
"Tonight could be a big step in that direction against a very capable
opponent."
Felix hops
down from the turnbuckle and walks to the center of the ring, never taking his
eyes off Sterling Silverman.
The
referee steps between the two competitors to deliver her final instructions.
Felix offers a respectful nod.
Silverman
simply smirks.
The
referee checks both competitors before signaling for the opening bell.
DING!
DING!
Felix
Fable comes out firing, catching Sterling Silverman off guard with a
lightning-fast enzuigiri before planting him with The Final Word, his
cradle brainbuster, just moments into the contest.
J.R.
Holland:
"Felix Fable is setting a blistering pace right from the opening
bell!"
C.K.:
"He'd better keep it up. Give Sterling time to think, and he'll find a way
to slow this match down."
Silverman
weathers the early storm, answering with a vicious TECH WRECK SIDEKICK
that finally halts Felix's momentum. The two trade control as Felix repeatedly
looks to end the contest with his technical arsenal, locking in Cattle
Mutilation for the first time.
The
Savannah crowd rises as Sterling grimaces in pain.
But he
refuses to submit.
J.R.
Holland:
"Silverman's in trouble already!"
C.K.:
"I'll give him this—he's tougher than people think."
Felix
stays on the attack with a middle-rope hurricanrana before attempting another Final
Word, but this time Sterling scouts it and escapes, buying himself valuable
breathing room.
The
momentum swings wildly.
Felix
drives Sterling into the mat with a double-arm DDT, only for Silverman to
answer by cinching in the Million Dollar Dream.
The hold
nearly drains the life out of Felix, but he refuses to quit.
J.R.
Holland:
"Felix is fading!"
C.K.:
"He's got nowhere to go!"
The crowd
erupts when Felix finally breaks free.
Moments
later, Sterling throws another devastating TECH WRECK SIDEKICK.
Felix
catches it.
Very
Nice Very Knee-vil GTS!
The impact
sends Silverman sprawling across the ring.
J.R.
Holland:
"What a counter by Felix Fable!"
C.K.:
"I didn't think he'd pull that one out!"
Silverman
answers with his own offense, connecting with DIGITAL DECIMATOR, but
Felix refuses to stay down. A perfectly timed superkick and another devastating
Very Nice Very Knee-vil GTS nearly finish the match.
One...
Two...
Silverman
barely survives.
Felix
immediately follows with The Final Word and hooks the leg again.
At the
last possible second, Sterling rolls through the pinning attempt and nearly
steals the victory himself before Felix kicks out.
Both
competitors begin showing the effects of the grueling battle.
Sterling
repeatedly targets Felix with TECH WRECK SIDEKICKS, double underhook
suplexes, and another crushing Million Dollar Dream, while Felix
continues answering with enzuigiris, jumping knee strikes, and submission
attempts.
Twice
more, Cattle Mutilation is locked in.
Twice
more, Sterling escapes.
J.R.
Holland:
"I don't know how much longer Sterling can keep surviving these
submissions."
C.K.:
"And I don't know how much longer Felix can survive Sterling's power
offense. Somebody has to break."
Nearly
twenty-five minutes into the contest, both men stagger to their feet in the
center of the ring.
Sterling
attempts to create separation by throwing Felix toward the ropes.
Felix
slips behind him.
He hooks
both arms.
Cattle
Mutilation!
This time
the hold is locked in perfectly.
Sterling
struggles desperately, reaching toward the ropes as the Savannah crowd roars
him on.
He
claws...
He
reaches...
He has
nowhere to go.
HE
TAPS!
DING!
DING! DING!
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"Here is your winner by submission... Felix Fable!"
The
Enmarket Arena erupts as Felix immediately releases the hold and rises to his
feet. Referee "Honest" Abe raises his arm while Felix
acknowledges the cheering fans.
J.R.
Holland:
"What a tremendous wrestling match! Felix Fable just picked up perhaps the
biggest victory of his HCW career."
C.K.:
"I'll admit it—that was impressive. Sterling Silverman threw everything he
had at Felix, but tonight Felix simply had the answer."
J.R.
Holland:
"Felix Fable continues building momentum here on Shockwave, and if he
keeps putting together performances like this, the rest of the HCW locker room
better start paying attention."
Commercial
break
The
broadcast returns from commercial to a wide shot of the energized crowd inside
Enmarket Arena.
J.R.
Holland:
"Welcome back to HCW Shockwave! Before the break, we witnessed an
outstanding wrestling match as Felix Fable earned a hard-fought submission
victory over Sterling Silverman."
C.K.:
"I'll give Felix his due—that was impressive. Silverman pushed him for
nearly twenty-five minutes, but Felix never stopped looking for that Cattle
Mutilation."
J.R.
Holland:
"And now we shift our attention to the women's division. Two talented
competitors, two fan favorites, and one opportunity to build momentum here on
Shockwave."
The arena
lights brighten as upbeat, energetic music fills the building.
Twinkle bursts onto the stage with an
infectious smile, waving enthusiastically to the fans on both sides of the
entrance ramp. She spins once at the top of the stage before making her way
toward the ring, exchanging high-fives with as many fans as she can reach.
J.R.
Holland:
"You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who enjoys competing more than
Twinkle. Every time she walks through that curtain, she brings an incredible
amount of energy."
C.K.:
"I'll admit, she's easy to like. But smiles only get you so far once that
bell rings."
Twinkle
hops onto the apron and slingshots herself over the top rope before climbing
the nearest turnbuckle. She points toward the cheering crowd and claps her
hands above her head before dropping back to the canvas.
She
settles into her corner, bouncing lightly on the balls of her feet as she
awaits her opponent.
The lights
dim slightly as a more atmospheric entrance theme begins to play.
Luna
Shadow steps
onto the stage to a warm ovation from the Savannah crowd. Calm and composed,
Luna acknowledges the fans with a respectful nod before making the deliberate
walk to the ring.
J.R.
Holland:
"Luna Shadow has quietly become one of the most technically sound
competitors in HCW's women's division."
C.K.:
"She's not flashy, but she's incredibly disciplined. You make one mistake
against Luna Shadow, and she'll make you pay for it."
Luna walks
around the ring before climbing the steel steps and stepping through the ropes.
She offers Twinkle a respectful smile from across the ring before taking her
corner.
Twinkle
returns the gesture with a nod of her own.
The
referee calls both competitors to the center of the ring for final
instructions. The two women share a respectful handshake before returning to
their respective corners.
The
referee looks to both competitors...
...and
signals for the bell.
DING!
DING!
The two
fan favorites circle one another before locking up, each looking to gain an
early advantage through technique rather than aggression.
Twinkle
strikes first, catching Luna with a bulldog headlock that sends her to the
canvas.
J.R.
Holland:
"An excellent start by Twinkle. She's using her quickness to keep Luna
guessing."
C.K.:
"These two know each other well. Don't expect either one to make many
mistakes."
Luna
answers moments later, planting Twinkle with a thunderous Starafall DDT,
but Twinkle immediately counters with a quick schoolgirl roll-up that nearly
catches Luna by surprise.
The pace
remains brisk as Luna delivers a beautiful Moonlit Suplex, only for
Twinkle to spring right back with a picture-perfect sunset flip.
Neither
woman can establish sustained control.
Twinkle
repeatedly frustrates Luna with quick roll-ups and agile offense, while Luna's
power game begins to take its toll through a devastating Celestial Elbow
Drop and another crushing Starafall DDT.
J.R.
Holland:
"This has been a tremendous display of sportsmanship and
athleticism."
C.K.:
"Neither competitor is giving an inch."
Twinkle
attempts another bulldog headlock, but Luna expertly counters the hold before
beginning to impose her strength.
A
thunderous Twilight Powerbomb rocks Twinkle.
Then
another.
Despite
the punishment, Twinkle refuses to stay down, firing back with flying dropkicks
that repeatedly halt Luna's momentum.
The
turning point appears to come when Luna ascends the turnbuckles.
MIDNIGHT
MOONSAULT!
She
connects perfectly.
The crowd
erupts.
J.R.
Holland:
"Beautiful execution by Luna Shadow!"
C.K.:
"That's the kind of move that wins matches."
Luna isn't
finished.
A second Midnight
Moonsault lands.
Then a
third.
Twinkle
somehow continues fighting, answering with diving forearm smashes each time she
gets an opening.
Luna
presses her advantage with a crisp Eclipse Dropkick before hooking the
leg.
One...
Twinkle
powers out.
The
Savannah crowd applauds both competitors as the match enters its final moments.
J.R.
Holland:
"I don't know what it's going to take to keep Twinkle down tonight."
C.K.:
"She's got plenty left in the tank."
Twinkle
changes her strategy.
Rather
than trading strikes, she begins attacking Luna's upper body with an armlock
before transitioning seamlessly into a deep Surfboard submission.
Luna
struggles immediately.
She
reaches...
She
twists...
She tries
to power free...
But
Twinkle has the hold locked in perfectly.
J.R.
Holland:
"Twinkle has it cinched in!"
C.K.:
"Luna's in serious trouble!"
With
nowhere to go, Luna taps the mat.
DING!
DING! DING!
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"Here is your winner by submission... Twinkle!"
The
Savannah crowd applauds both competitors as Twinkle immediately releases the
hold and helps Luna back to her feet.
The two
women share a smile before meeting in the center of the ring.
They shake
hands to another warm ovation from the fans.
J.R.
Holland:
"That's what competition is all about. A hard-fought match, mutual
respect, and a great display of sportsmanship."
C.K.:
"Not every rivalry has to end with bad blood. Tonight, Twinkle was simply
the better wrestler."
Twinkle
raises Luna's hand along with her own, drawing another round of applause before
the two competitors leave the ring together to appreciative cheers from the
Savannah crowd.
Backstage
Interview
The camera
cuts backstage where Ryan Mercer is standing with Nyx Evermore
and Starla Nova. Starla wears a confident smile as she prepares for the
night's main event. Beside her, Nyx stands quietly, her arms folded and her
expression unreadable.
Ryan
Mercer:
"Fans, I'm joined by Nyx Evermore and Starla Nova, who are moments away
from competing in tonight's main event against Lavender Gooms and Leslie
Grimes. Starla, how are the two of you feeling heading into this match?"
Starla
Nova:
"I feel really good, Ryan."
"Nyx
and I have been building some momentum, and tonight is another opportunity to
show everyone what we're capable of."
"Lavender
and Leslie are both talented competitors, but we're ready."
Ryan
smiles before turning toward Nyx.
Ryan
Mercer:
"Nyx, you've been on an impressive run lately. How are you approaching
tonight's main event?"
Nyx
doesn't answer immediately. She stares past Ryan for a moment before finally
speaking.
Nyx
Evermore:
"Focused."
A brief
silence follows.
Ryan
Mercer:
"You seem a little quieter than usual tonight. Is everything
alright?"
Nyx slowly
turns her eyes toward Ryan.
Nyx
Evermore:
"I'm ready."
Another
uncomfortable pause lingers before Starla steps back into the conversation with
an encouraging smile.
Starla
Nova:
"That's just how Nyx gets before a match."
"She
locks in."
"When
that bell rings, I know she'll be ready."
Nyx gives
the slightest nod without saying another word.
Ryan
Mercer:
"Well, best of luck to both of you in tonight's main event."
Ryan steps
aside as Starla thanks him with a smile before heading toward the entrance. Nyx
follows a step behind, her focus never wavering.
J.R.
Holland:
"Nyx certainly seems locked in tonight."
C.K.:
"Some competitors do their talking in the ring. Maybe that's exactly what
we're seeing."
J.R.
Holland:
"We'll find out shortly when our main event gets underway."
The camera
returns to ringside as the crowd buzzes in anticipation of the night's main
event.
J.R.
Holland:
"What a night it's been already. Rick Rourke made a successful HCW debut,
Felix Fable earned a tremendous submission victory over Sterling Silverman, and
just moments ago, Twinkle and Luna Shadow reminded everyone what sportsmanship
in this industry is all about."
C.K.:
"And now it's time for the main event. Four talented competitors, but only
one team walks out with the win. Let's see who rises to the occasion."
A smug
smile spreads across Lavender Gooms' face as her entrance music hits.
She steps onto the stage, confidently soaking in the boos from the Savannah
crowd.
A moment
later, Leslie Grimes joins her. The two exchange a knowing glance before
making their way to the ring together, ignoring the fans lining the entrance
aisle.
J.R.
Holland:
"Lavender Gooms and Leslie Grimes have become a dangerous combination.
They may not always take the honorable path, but there's no denying their
effectiveness as a team."
C.K.:
"They're smart. They know how to control the pace of a match, isolate an
opponent, and capitalize on every mistake."
The pair
enter the ring and confidently claim the corner nearest the entrance ramp,
never taking their eyes off the stage.
The
atmosphere shifts as an upbeat entrance theme fills the arena.
Starla
Nova emerges
first to a warm ovation, waving to the fans before stopping at the top of the
stage.
Moments
later, Nyx Evermore walks through the curtain.
Unlike
Starla, Nyx offers little acknowledgment to the crowd. Her expression remains
calm and focused as she joins her partner. Starla says something with an
encouraging smile, and Nyx simply nods before the two make their way to the
ring.
J.R.
Holland:
"Starla Nova is always full of positive energy, while Nyx Evermore appears
completely locked in tonight."
C.K.:
"We saw that during Ryan Mercer's interview. Nyx wasn't interested in
talking. She wants to get in the ring and get to work."
Starla
climbs onto the apron and enters through the ropes, acknowledging the cheering
fans once more.
Nyx
follows, stepping between the ropes with her eyes fixed squarely on Lavender
and Leslie.
Both teams
move to their respective corners as Referee "Honest" Abe gives
final instructions.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur steps to the center of the ring.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall!"
"The
team already in the ring... Lavender Gooms and Leslie Grimes!"
A chorus
of boos echoes throughout the Enmarket Arena.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"And their opponents... the team of Starla Nova and Nyx Evermore!"
The
Savannah crowd responds with a loud ovation as Starla raises an arm to the
fans. Beside her, Nyx remains motionless, her eyes locked on the opposing
corner.
Referee "Honest"
Abe checks with all four competitors before calling for the bell.
DING!
DING!
Nyx
Evermore starts the match with laser-like focus, immediately taking Leslie
Grimes off her feet with a wheelbarrow bulldog before making a quick tag to
Starla Nova.
J.R.
Holland:
"Excellent teamwork right out of the gate."
C.K.:
"They're not wasting any time. Quick tags and fresh competitors—that's
textbook tag wrestling."
Starla
keeps the pressure on with a spinning backfist before bringing Nyx back into
the match. The two continue to isolate Leslie, refusing to allow her any
breathing room.
A crisp
dropkick from Nyx is followed by another quick tag.
Then the
teamwork intensifies.
Starla
launches Leslie into position with a dropkick before Nyx follows with Celestial
Descent, driving Leslie into the canvas.
The
referee quickly begins his count as both women return to their corner.
J.R.
Holland:
"Beautifully executed double-team offense."
C.K.:
"They're working like they've been partners for years."
Another
legal tag brings Nyx back into the ring, and once again the tandem offense
proves too much. Starla connects with an End Voyage Fisherman Suplex,
while Nyx follows with a flurry of Midnight Strikes that leave Leslie
reeling.
Finally,
Leslie creates enough separation with a Lou Thesz Press to reach her corner.
Tag.
Lavender
Gooms enters the match.
The
momentum shifts as Lavender catches Starla with a hurricanrana before the two
begin trading near falls and submission attempts.
Starla
nearly scores the victory after trapping Lavender in the Ikari Bridging
Cross Legged Crab, but Lavender narrowly escapes at the count of two.
Nyx tags
back in.
The pace
accelerates.
All four
competitors spill into the ring during a frantic exchange. Running
Blockbusters, Midnight Strikes, Russian leg sweeps, and hurricanranas fly from
every direction before Referee "Honest" Abe finally restores
order.
J.R.
Holland:
"This match is breaking down!"
C.K.:
"And I'm loving every second of it!"
Back in
control, Nyx rocks Lavender with another barrage of Midnight Strikes
before once again working seamlessly with Starla. Quick tags, double-team
combinations, and relentless pressure keep Lavender trapped on the wrong side
of the ring.
Starla
repeatedly creates openings with her explosive offense, while Nyx methodically
follows with precision strikes and perfectly timed attacks.
Still,
Lavender refuses to go away.
She
answers with The Lavender Lock, a sliding kick to the floor, and several
sudden bursts of offense that force Starla and Nyx to regroup.
J.R.
Holland:
"You have to give Lavender credit. Every time it looks like she's
finished, she finds another gear."
C.K.:
"That's why she's so dangerous."
The match
reaches its climax as Starla and Nyx once again isolate Lavender in their
corner.
A
springboard forearm from Starla...
A
moonsault from Nyx...
Another
tag.
The
teamwork remains flawless.
Starla
lands a devastating diving elbow before weathering one last rally from Lavender
that includes running leg drops and another hurricanrana.
The
Savannah crowd rises to its feet.
Starla
ducks a desperate counter...
Fires off
a perfectly timed dropkick...
Hooks the
leg.
One...
Two...
Three!
DING!
DING! DING!
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"Here are your winners... the team of Nyx Evermore and Starla Nova!"
The
Enmarket Arena applauds the impressive victory as Referee "Honest"
Abe raises the hands of Starla Nova and Nyx Evermore.
J.R.
Holland:
"What an outstanding main event! Starla Nova and Nyx Evermore showed
tremendous chemistry tonight."
C.K.:
"They were clicking from the opening bell. Quick tags, excellent
communication, and they never let Lavender and Leslie get comfortable."
Starla
Nova smiles broadly, clearly thrilled with the victory as she turns toward her
partner.
She
extends a hand toward Nyx.
Instead...
Nyx simply
stares at her.
The smile
slowly fades from Starla's face.
J.R.
Holland:
"...Something doesn't look right."
Without
warning—
CRACK!
Nyx drives
a vicious forearm into Starla's jaw.
The crowd
gasps.
Starla
stumbles backward, completely caught off guard.
J.R.
Holland:
"WHAT?!"
C.K.:
"What in the world—"
Nyx
doesn't hesitate.
She grabs
Starla...
CELESTIAL
DESCENT!
The
devastating DDT plants Starla face-first into the canvas.
The arena
falls into stunned silence.
Nyx slowly
rises to her feet and stands over her fallen partner without a trace of
emotion.
She
doesn't celebrate.
She
doesn't taunt.
She simply
stares down at Starla.
Then...
The arena
lights go out.
Complete
darkness.
A hush
falls over the Enmarket Arena.
An
unfamiliar entrance theme begins to play.
A single
symbol suddenly appears on the Omegatron.
The
strange emblem fills the massive screen.
No words.
No
explanation.
Only the
symbol.
When the
lights slowly return...
Three
figures are already standing in the ring.
Ambrose
Chapel.
Dorian
Vire.
Titan
Briggs.
Each
stands perfectly still.
Each faces
the hard camera.
Nyx calmly
walks away from Starla and takes her place beside them.
The
unfamiliar music continues.
A few
moments later...
Lazarus
Blackstar
slowly walks onto the stage.
He pauses
for several seconds.
His eyes
scan the arena before making the deliberate walk to the ring.
Not a
single member of the group moves.
Lazarus
steps between the ropes.
He walks
to the center of the ring.
Silence.
He looks
toward Ambrose.
Lazarus
Blackstar:
"For weeks..."
"You
have watched."
"You
have questioned."
"You
have wondered what was coming."
He slowly
turns.
Lazarus
Blackstar:
"Ambrose Chapel..."
"The
Witness."
Without
hesitation...
Ambrose
takes one synchronized step forward.
Lazarus
turns to Dorian.
Lazarus
Blackstar:
"Dorian Vire..."
"The
Distortion."
Dorian
takes one synchronized step forward.
Lazarus
faces Titan.
Lazarus
Blackstar:
"Titan Briggs..."
"The
Enforcer."
Titan
takes one synchronized step forward.
Finally...
Lazarus
turns toward Nyx.
She never
takes her eyes off the camera.
Lazarus
Blackstar:
"Nyx Evermore..."
"The
Convert."
Nyx steps
forward in perfect synchronization with the others.
Lazarus
slowly looks into the hard camera.
A long
silence fills the arena.
Lazarus
Blackstar:
"We are..."
Another
pause.
"...The
Null Order."
The
Omegatron instantly changes.
The full NULL
ORDER logo fills the screen behind them.
No one in
the ring moves.
The
silence becomes almost uncomfortable.
Finally...
Lazarus
speaks one last time.
Lazarus
Blackstar:
"Every kingdom..."
A long
pause.
"...eventually
falls."
The five
members stand shoulder to shoulder beneath the glowing Null Order logo.
No
commentary.
No music
beyond the unfamiliar entrance theme.
No replay.
The screen
fades slowly to black.
