Hello fans and welcome to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. We have a stacked card for you tonight so let’s get right to the action.
First
up, Dennis Marshall makes his way out to a nice pop from the crowd. He high fives with the fans and makes his way
to the ring. Just as soon as he enters
the ring, his music is shut off. He
looks a bit perturbed. We are then
treated to “APOLLO GYZE DON’T APOLOGIZE” and out comes everyone’s favorite Pain
in the Ass, Apollo Gyze. He is booed
heavily as he makes his way out and to the ring. He climbs in and throws a sideways sneer at
Dennis before climbing the turnbuckle hoisting his fists into the air. This gets the crowd to respond in an
unfavorable light.
The
match was pretty close for the first 15 min but then Dennis took control and began
to dominate the match. After missing a
version of the Rock’s famous “People’s Elbow”, Apollo began an offensive run
until Casper Wyoming came out for the distraction. This
gave Dennis time to hit a brainbuster elbow smash and make the cover to get the
1-2-3. Dennis gets the win and the fans
approve. He stays and interacts with the
fans before heading to the back.
We
thought the Wicked Prophet was going to be in the house tonight but instead of
showing up in person, he sent in a video.
WP:

Do
you know what else is a match? Your face and your butt.
I
am gonna draw a big frownie face on you when you put your title on the line in
a no rules cage match with me! You aren’t worthy of the title anyway!”
Ok…Well,
we’re on to our next match. First, Penny
Hall makes her way out to booing from the fans.
Once in the ring, the music changed and out comes the Queen of HCW
Goldie Locks. The fans pop for her
royalness and she interacts with them before making her way into the squared
circle. The match goes the distance with
Penny barely hanging on to the lead going into the last few seconds. A diving lariat from the Queen gave her those
last few seconds needed to bring this one to a draw finish. After the match, Penny demanded a
rematch. Goldie accepted and said they
would meet at the House of Horrors show.
After
the match, Superstar Chic Monroe came out and said that the Reigning Royalty
PPV was coming up soon and said that he was going to go all the way in the
battle royal and will be the last man standing to challenge Rad for the crown. The Ragin Cajun King Rad Gumbo came out and
said that if Chic wants to see what could happen in a few weeks, he’s willing
to give us a preview tonight. He makes
his way down and quickly his manager Miss Alexandria rushes out to stand at his
side. This one didn’t go that long and
the King dominated the match. After Chic
tried to go after Miss Alexandria, Gumbo snapped and grabbed Monroe delivering
a devastating eye gouge. He then rolled
Chic up and got the 1-2-3. King Rad
Gumbo gets the win. Chic slides out of
the ring and grabs a steel chair. He
slides back in and as Rad turns around, he wallops Rad in the head with the
chair busting him open. Chic stands over
Rad holding the bloody chair. He drops
it on Rad before heading to the back.
Miss Alexandria rushes into the ring to tend to Rad as medics came out
to the ring. Rad pushes them all away
and seethes vowing retaliation against Monroe.

Backstage,
the 5th Column – Baron von Blood and Oswald Zimmerman state that
they get a shot at the World Tag Team titles tonight. Tonight, they will take the gold back to Deutschland.
We
cut to the champs the Steel Curtain and Buzz quickly quells the fears that may
be lingering. “We will not let any evil foreigners
take these titles to another country.”
Starbuck says “We don’t hate the fans in Germany; only evil doers. Tonight, we retain by dominating our
opponents.” Buzz laughs. “Buck, any last words?” Starbuck looks at the camera and says “WORD”.
The
5th Column come out first to massive booing from the fans. They make their way to the ring threatening
to hit the fans but show restraint. They
get into the ring and continue taunting the crowd until the music changed and
out comes the Tag Team Champions. The
Steel Curtain get a huge pop and interact with the fans as they made their way
to the ring. The get into the ring and
hold the titles high. They hand them to
the ref and the match begins. The match
goes the distance and even though the champs held the slight advantage, it
doesn’t appear anything was settled here.
Baron von Blood threw out another challenge and the Steel Curtain accepted. It looks like these two teams will meet
again. (30 min draw)
It’s
time for our main event. First, Betsy
Cummings comes out with her twin Felicia.
The duo are booed as they make their way to the ring. They are dressed identically so it seems they
may be up to no good. The music changed
and out comes the Ladies Champion Violet Valkyrie. The fans pop HUGE as she stands on the stage
soaking it all in. She finally begins
the trek to the ring. She slides under
the bottom rope and climbs the corner turnbuckle holding her title high. She stepped down and handed her title to the
ref. The match begins. There were a couple of times that Felicia got
involved but it was the final time that brought out Korbi Kong. Korbi chased Felicia to the back giving
Violet finally a fair chance.
