HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.14

Hello fans and welcome back to the final January newsletter.  January was a hell of a month for wrestling news and as we lead up to the PPV Warzone in February (tickets on sale now), I expect the news to continue to roll in and our PPV to sell out.

In the back, roving reporter Larry Morton received news that he wanted to break first.  “It turns out that while being stuck in England, Dirk ‘the Pick’ Devon and Cactus Jackie got married!  This was a shocker as we didn’t know they were an item.  We also learned that Jackie got herself a lil’ pick in the oven.  That’s right, according to our sources (it was the Axe who released this information) Jackie is pregnant and has decided to take time off until after the baby is born.  Once she decides to return to the squared circle, she will be known as Cactus Jackie Devon.  Word also has it that their VISA situation may be cleared up sooner rather than later.  If that is the case, maybe they’ll be back before the Warzone PPV.”  Thank you Larry for that update.

It also turns out that we got a video promo from the Pick and the Axe while stuck over in England.  Basically, they badmouthed Rocky Lapetus and said that he better never stick his 6’4” nose in their business ever again.  Pick seemed especially put-off even though he should be happy he got married and has a child on the way.  I guess some people just can’t let things go.

Prestige Inc start off the show with a reminder of their challenge to Kane and the Ascension.  This time, they are challenging them for spot for the 6 man tag team titles.  Reid goes on to clarify.  “Now, I want you to understand and I’ll use little words so you’re simple little minds can understand this.  We are challenging you for your ranking spot.  We don’t want your dog spot, your liver spot or even the spot on your shirt.  6 man title spot.  Now get your asses out here so we can get on with our day.

The Ascension with Kane and MJ make their way to the ring.  They do not look happy.  MJ has a mic.  “I asked you chumps once before if you really want to get your asses handed to you.  If you feel you’re a glutton for punishment, Kane and the Ascension will gladly rip you new asses and send you crying home to momma.  Reid, really, that is the best you can do?  Steal a promo from a decade ago and pretend it’s your own?  Are you that unoriginal?  Wait, don’t answer that.”  While MJ was flapping his gums, Kane and the Ascension hit the ring and it took half a dozen refs and “shirts” to break it up.  GM Master Bull came out and said that these 6 men would wrestle in the main event tonight with the Ascension & Kane’s title spot on the line.  Eventually everyone broke it up and left.

We finally get our matches underway and we start off with Intercontinental Champion Buff Austin defending his title against Ethan Carter III (EC III).  This is a best of 3 falls; 60 minute match.  Carter gets the first fall in 25 minutes.  Buff Austin gets the second fall in 29 minutes.  That only leaves 6 minutes for our final fall.  As we expected, the 60 minute time limit runs out and we have ourselves a draw.  Buff Austin, exhausted, grabs his title and leaves the ring.

We move right on to our next match which is former A-Team member Alberto El Patron taking on the man who is occupying a spot on the A-Team he once occupied; the newest member Abyss.  Patron promised that he would go through each and every one of them and would make them pay.  Abyss said that if Alberto wants to get at Austin, he has to go through him first.  Abyss started strong but soon fizzled out.  Alberto took advantage and beat on the A-Team member for a whopping 20 minutes.  Aries came out after he saw Abyss struggling but a perfectly timed collision between Abyss and Aries sent Austin flying from the ring.  Alberto got the pin on Abyss after hitting a Falling Powerbomb.  After the match and after Abyss rolled out of the ring, Aries tried to attack Alberto but he was waiting for him.  Alberto tried to lock Aries in a Rolling Cross Armbreaker but luckily, Aries was able to escape.  These two will collide sooner rather than later.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says that he wants to see Alberto vs Austin Aries at the PPV but the champs are already committed.  Hogan promises that before the PPV gets here, Alberto will get a chance to put his hands on Aries…BUT it will be in a handicap match.  The A-Team, in full force, will go 3 on 1 against Alberto.  Aries makes his way up the ramp and shakes hands with the GM and laughs all the way to the back.

In the back, EC III is pissed off and Rockstar Spud is trying to calm him down.  In walk the Desperados and that seems to do it for Carter.  “Well, look who we have here…The Fruit Roll up and the Slim Jim.”  The Stache chuckles under his breath.  “You know, normally we’d be pissed off and kick your asses all over the arena but we’re in too good a mood.”  El Chango chimes in.  “It seems that your mocking of us got the attention of some people over at Betty Crocker (makers of Fruit Roll Ups) and ConAgra Foods (makers of the Slim Jim) and they have made us spokesmen for their product.”  Stache adds “That’s right.  We get endorsements from them as well as some serious cash so what we’re really trying to say is ‘Thanks’ for making us rich without us having to do anything about it.”  El Chango offers them some slim jims (Snap into this) and Fruit Rollups.  They walk away laughing.  EC III throws the food on the floor and then leaves.  Rockstar Spud picks it up, opens the Slim Jim and ‘snaps’ into it.  (Editor’s note:  the new sponsors were nice enough to send the Stache and El Chango a collector’s item which they shared with us.)

And this one from our friends at ConAgra Foods:

We head back to the ring for a 6 man tag team match.  Kenta, Sanada and Tajiri are taking on Keven Steen, Curtis Axel and Jack Swagger.  Wow, it goes to show you that when your team is not all on the same page like Team Steen, it shows just how bad it can get.  Kenta, Sanada and Tajiri just steamrolled over the competition as if no one bothered to show up.  Towards the end of the match, Tajiri spit mist into the eyes of Axel who, in a blinded rage, struck both Swagger and Steen knocking them from the ring.  Tajiri snuck up from behind and rolled Axel up for the 1-2-3.  Steen and Swagger were not happy with Axel and actually left him alone in the ring as they left without him. (16 min)

It is time for singles action again and next we have the A-Team’s Antonio Cesaro taking on American Wolves member Davey Richards.  The two fought for a solid 19 minutes but came to an end after Richards caught Cesaro with the Saito Suplex and scored the pinfall.

It is time for our MAIN EVENT.  Prestige Inc.’s own King Damian Sandow, Magnus and ‘The Elitist’ Reid Rothchild challenge The Ascension w/ Kane for their spot in the 6 man title hunt.  MJ accompanies his team to the ring to meet Prestige Inc who is already in the ring.  This match showed once again the dominance of the Ascension coupled with the ferociousness of the monster Kane.  For 5 minutes, the Ascension tripled teamed Prestige Inc. not giving them any chance to mount a comeback. During the match, Kane hit a tombstone piledriver on Magnus and he barely made it back in before the 10 count.  The Ascension would not let up however and with keeping Sandow and Rothchild busy, Konnor takes Magnus out of the ring again and he and Viktor put him through the Spanish announce table.  Magnus gets counted out.  The match goes to the Ascension but before they could continue the onslaught on Prestige, the World Tag Team Champions MW3 and Donnie B come out to chase off the Ascension and Kane but the damage has been done.  The champs call for the Ascension in the ring but they slowly walk backwards up the ramp all the while staring at the champs in the ring.

This brings the show to an end.  Stay tuned as we expect in the next issue or two to see the PPV line up disclosed.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.13

(Editor's note: due to this being Superbowl week, we will post all news by tomorrow and leave our writers and fans the time to enjoy other sports.)

The Warriors meet with someone who is hidden by shadows.  SW asks if he wants to join them but the mystery person is reluctant to.  Truth tells this person that the Truth will set him free and that the truth is that our friend will be able to accomplish a lot teaming with them.   The mystery person asks for time to think about this.  SW asks if he could get an answer tonight so he can announce it.  Truth says “You’ve seen whom we emulate.  The Ultimate Warrior.  I know you’ve seen his matches before…everyone has.  Joining us will honor his legacy and cement yours as part of the Warriors.”  The mystery person actually says he has never seen an Ultimate Warrior match but, to see what they stand for, he will go watch one now.  He says he will let the Warriors know tonight of his decision.  Super Warrior says “It’s time…it’s time…it’s Va…I mean Warrior Time.”

AJ Lee calls out Angelina Love and says she wants her title match tonight.  GM Hulk Hogan makes it happen.  AJ turns up the heat like never before.  Lee kept Angelina on the defensive for almost the entire match.  At the 7 minute mark, AJ locks Love in the Black Widow and gets Love to submit.  The second fall begins and Angelina gets the win in 17 after hitting a slingshot Suplex.  The 3rd fall goes 16 minutes and once again AJ locks Love in the Black Widow and once again gets her to tap out.  AJ Lee is once again the Women’s Champion. (40 min)

AJ then calls down Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel.  Raquel comes down to the ring.  AJ says that the two of them are the best in the business and she says that the two of them should meet at the Warzone PPV with BOTH titles on the line.  Raquel acknowledges says she is not the number one contender but that can change here tonight.  Raquel calls out Gail Kim and challenges her for her spot.

Gail Kim defeats Ravishing Raquel after Raquel got counted out at 3 minutes.  GM Master Bull came out and restarted the match.  Then Ravishing Raquel defeats Gail Kim after Kim got counted out in only 3 min.  Bull came out again and said both matches are wiped off the record books.  They are being given another shot; this time a no DQ match.  This time, the match only goes 2 minutes but sees Raquel get the win after locking Kim in the Ravishing Chickenwing and got her to tap out.

Raquel turns to AJ who is at ringside and says she accepts the match.  At Warzone, it will be Raquel vs AJ with both titles on the line.  The winner will be the sole Diva’s/Women’s Champion.

Kurt Angle is being interviewed and he says that MW3 was the better man in their match.  He hopes that MW3 will do the right thing and give him the rematch he deserves.

MJ and the Ascension take on the Desperados – The Stache and El Chango.   Not sure what is happening with the Ascension as they do not seem to be as dominant as when they first started.  Even though they controlled the match, they could not put the Desperados down.  This one goes to a 30 minute time limit.  Stache and El Chango left the ring mocking the Ascension and MJ, Konnor and Viktor remained in the ring stewing. (30 min)

MW3 is being congratulated on winning the World title.  MW3 says that he is proud to represent the CSWA as the face of the organization but also represents both brands as co-holder of the World Tag Team titles with Donnie B.  MW3 says that he will consider giving Kurt a rematch as long as GM Hulk Hogan says it’s best for business.

Back to the ring and we have Kane vs the Super Warrior in singles action.  Kane and the Super Warrior went toe to toe for about 14 minutes until the Ascension came out.  The Super Warrior got distracted and Kane finished him off with an eye rake (huh, didn’t think that was an ending move but oh well).   The Ascension got into the ring but SW quickly escaped and left the Ascension standing in the ring looking…well…stupid.

The Tag Team Champs Donnie B and his partner the CSWA World Champion MW3 says they are in the Christmas spirit and want to give a team a title match.  Since the Ascension and the Desperados wrestled earlier, they would draw names at random and they pulled Tyson Kidd & Xavier Woods.  This one went 15 minutes and after Kidd slapped Donnie B across the face, Donnie B hit him with a bitch slap of his own and quickly rolled him up for the 1-2-3.  The champs retain.

The A-Team (Antonio Cesaro, Abyss and ‘the Man’ Austin Aries) all come out and say that Wyatt’s Warriors will be getting their title shot at the PPV but they seem to be one man short.  The Super Warrior and Warrior of Truth come out.  Aries asks where their partner is.   The lights go dim and Super Warrior says “Look behind you.”  A dark figure attacks the A-team and almost singlehandedly eliminates the A-team.  The lights come up and the figure removes his mask and it’s…OMG…It’s STING!  Super Warrior gets on the mic and says “I want to introduce you to our new partner…the Scorpion Warrior.”  The crowd pops huge as SW and Truth join the Scorpion Warrior in the ring as the show comes to an end.

In the backstage area, we see Bray Wyatt and he is smiling.  “You chose…wisely, my son.”  He starts to cackle and rocks back and forth in his rocking chair.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.12

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.   Based on what transpired in the last issue, it seems that Super Warrior and Warrior of Truth are no longer associated with Bray Wyatt.  Wyatt has “freed” them to go on to bigger and better things.  It also seems that word has gotten out that Super Warrior and Warrior of Truth were looking for a 3rd member for their team.  Many different wrestlers cut their own promos and sent them in to vie for that spot.  Among the videos submitted, we had the “Bo-lieve Warrior” Bo Dallas, the “Golden Warrior” Goldust who was interrupted by “Star-Warrior” Stardust, the “Bro-Warrior” Robbie E (who was actually making fun of this), and the “Woo-woo Warrior” Zach Ryder.  Super Warrior said that tonight, he and Truth would make the pick for the 3rd member of their team.

The American Wolves make their way down to the ring and call out Beer Money.  Storm and Roode come out and say they don’t have time for the wolves as they are getting ready for their final match against the Ascension.  They will be the team to finally give the Ascension their first loss.  Edwards and Richards get pissed off as Beer Money brushes them off.

Master Bull says that the 3rd match between Beer Money and the Ascension will not be happening tonight.  Instead, both teams will be facing someone new.  Beer Money gets the American Wolves and the Ascension will get the Miz-fits which is up next.

The Ascension defeat the Miz-fits in 28 minutes after Viktor hit the Fiend with the Fade to Black. The Ascension have been having issues as of late in trying to get their matches over sooner rather than later.  It of course didn’t help that Beer Money was at ringside assisting with color commentating.

World Tag team champs Donnie B and MW3 are being interviewed.  MW3 biggest singles break is happening tonight when he gets a shot at the CSWA World Champion Kurt Angle.  MW3 says that the tag team titles are important but then so is this one.  Donnie B tells MW3 that GM Hulk Hogan is preventing him from accompanying him to ringside but he will be cheering his partner on from the back.

We go back to the ring for the first title match of the night.  Challenger Bobby Lashley comes out first and is followed by US Champion AJ Styles.  Both men shake hands as the bell rings for this best of 3 falls match. In 12 minutes, Bobby scores the first pin after hitting AJ with the Dominator.  When the bell rang to start the second fall, AJ wasn’t looking good.  I think that Dominator took something out of him.  In only 6 minutes after reversing a Styles Clash, Bobby hits another Dominator and makes the cover.  The ref counts 1…2…3 and declares Lashley the winner and NEW US CHAMPION. (18 min total)

The new Intercontinental Champion Buff Austin (formerly known as Senor Vampiro) makes his way out and mocks the HWF roster questioning anyone who could beat him.  Out comes X-Division Champion Tyler Breeze.  Breeze says he could defeat Austin.  Buff backtracks saying that Breeze, although a champion, is not the #1 contender for his title.  Breeze says their match doesn’t need to be for the title.  Just champ vs champ to see who’s got what.  Austin agrees.  Buff Austin was controlling the match and tossed Breeze from the ring.  Tyler quickly rolls back in and hits Buff with a Superkick out of nowhere.  Breeze makes the cover and gets the pin.  Buff rolls out of the ring and grabs his title with a shocked look on his face.  Breeze says it’s inevitable…they will meet again. (7 min)

Next, we are on to a 6 man match with Prestige Inc. challenging Kevin Steen, Curtis Axel and Jack Swagger for their spot.  Team Steen were controlling this match by basically nullifying any interaction from Prestige.  Reid Rothchild was kept in the ring and triple teamed multiple times.  After some action from Magnus and Sandow, Reid makes the hot tag to Magnus.  Magnus hits a Samoan drop but then too is triple teamed.  Magnus makes the hot tag to Sandow who cleans house.  Sandow hits Steen with a spinning elbow drop and makes the cover to get the 1-2-3.  Prestige Inc. move up in the rankings. (19 min)

After a quick video showing the ongoing battle between Sting and Brock Lesnar, we head back to the ring for tag team action.  The American Wolves come out first and are followed by Beer Money.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and tells Beer Money that their tag team title spot is on the line here also.  They don’t like that.  This one was pretty close the entire match but the edge went to the Wolves. Knowing that their spot was in jeopardy put Beer Money slightly off their game.  In 23 minutes, Eddie Edwards catches Bobby Roode with a superkick.  He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  The Wolves have just taken Beer Money’s tag team title spot.  Holy cow.

Super Warrior and Warrior of Truth make their way out.  They say that they have decided on who was going to be the 3rd member of their team.  They make the introduction and out comes….the “Woo-Woo Warrior” Zach Ryder.  He gets a disappointing reaction.  Ryder runs around the ring comedy relief style until we hear “No, No, No.  I told you to choose wisely.  This is not wise.”  Out walks Bray Wyatt.  Wyatt heads to the ring.  “What are you doing?  Trying to rack up losses?  I told you to choose wisely.  This is not a wise decision.” The Woo-Woo Warrior takes offense and gets into Bray’s face.  Bray immediately hits him with Sister Abigail and Ryder is down.  “Go back and choose again.”  He sends the Warriors from the ring.

We are on the tail end of our show with the first of our 2 main events for the evening.  First, the challenger.  MW3 makes his way to the ring and then is followed out by the champion Kurt Angle.  As expected, Angle controlled the entire match.  Right about the 15 minute mark, MW3 began to start making a comeback but Angle squashed that.  Angle removed his shoulder straps and then turned around into an MW2 kneelift.  MW3 makes the cover and HOLY CRAP, he gets the 1-2-3.  MW3 has just defeated Kurt Angle to become the NEW CSWA WORLD CHAMPION.  “Hold on a minute, brother.”  GM Hulk Hogan comes out.  “World title matches need to be best of 3 falls so I’m making this one continue.”  The ref rings the bell.  The newly crowned champion was not going to let anything stop him and he kept the momentum going.  10 minutes into our 2nd fall, MW3 hits the Superkick and makes the cover getting the win again.  MW3 is officially the CSWA World Champion.  Donnie B comes out and celebrates with his tag team partner.

Hot on the heels of that last match, we head into our main event Sting vs Brock #5.  Sting has decided that this match will have Lights out rules.  Master Bull comes out and says that there is one other thing at stake – Sting’s title shot.   Sting needs to win this one or he will lose his title shot.  In 11 minutes and in true Beast Incarnate fashion, Brock piledrives Sting on the exposed concrete.  Sting is out.  Brock gets the win and also wins the series 4 – 1 over Sting also making him the #1 contender for Bray Wyatt’s HWF World title.  Sting has just lost his shot at the HWF World title.   Sting leaves the ring deflated.  Brock gets on the mic and calls out HWF Champion Bray Wyatt.  Wyatt comes out and stands on the stage and both men stare at each other as the show comes to an end.

Stay tuned for more action.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.11

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Today, we begin with a backstage meeting between Bray Wyatt and his Warriors.  Bray Wyatt gives his Warriors permission to find a substitute for him in the hunt for the six man titles.  He says that with defending the HWF World and Undisputed Heavyweight titles, he can’t give the 6 man belts the respect they deserve.   However, direction from the GM’s state that they cannot keep bringing in ‘one night only’ wrestlers and that the choice must come from the current roster.  “Choose wisely” says Bray.

Master Bull and Hulk Hogan came to an agreement to send Sami Zayn and Roderick Strong to the HWF in exchange for someone to be determined later.

Awesome Kong makes her way to the ring and says that Women’s champion Angelina Love is on her target list but she understands she has to work her way up so she challenges Layla El for her spot.  Layla El comes out and she doesn’t appear to be too happy about this.  Women’s Champion Angelina Love comes out during the match and distracts Kong.  Layla traps Kong with an armdrag into a rollup and gets the 1-2-3.  Layla’s spot is secure…for now.  Love leaves the ring laughing at Kong.  Not sure that’s entirely wise….

MJ and the Ascension say that they owned Beer Money and it was by luck of a time limit bell that they didn’t suffer any more damage.  Beer Money walks in and says that anytime they want another beat down, Roode and Storm will be around to dish it out.  MJ asks “Why not now?”  Storm says he’s ready to dish more out but can the Ascension take it?  They head to the ring.

The Ascension vs Beer Money part 2 is next.  The Ascension are in the ring first and Storm and Roode run down to the ring and all 4 go at it before the ref separates them to get this officially started.  This one was just like their last outing and also went to the 30 minute time limit.  You can tell that the Ascension are getting increasingly frustrated with not being able to put down Beer Money.  GM Master Bull comes out and says that both teams are deserving based on their past performance so he is upping the ante here.  The Ascension vs Beer Money #3 will also have the #1 contenders spot on the line AND that team will get their shot at the Warzone PPV.  Also, to give them the time needed to get the job done, he’s going to make it a 60 minute time limit.  Beer Money asks for a special stipulation to their match and Bull asks what they have in mind.  Storm says he wants a Parking Lot Brawl rules match.  Roode says they can handle themselves but can the Ascension.  Bull asks MJ if his team is up for this and they agree.

Up next is the Conan Boys (#ConanJones and Casey Jones) and they are taking on Sami Zayn and Roderick Strong.  This match will be for Zayn and Strong’s spot in the top 10.  The newcomers put on a great show but in what was pure luck, #Conanjones locks Roderick Strong in a guillotine choke and Strong taps out.  The Jones Boys move up the rankings.

GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says that there is only one more match happening tonight but it is nothing short of a ROYAL RUMBLE!  Hogan says that this will be an Andre the Giant memorial Battle Royal and the winner will receive a trophy.  The rumble will determine the top contenders for the Hardcore title.  Every wrestler will be in this one tonight whether they’ve wrestled tonight or not.  The final 5 in the ring (and in order of elimination) were King Damian Sandow, Bray Wyatt, Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan and the winner of the Rumble and #1 contender for the Hardcore title…Big Show.  Big Show dominated the Rumble and stands victorious.  GM’s Hulk Hogan and Master Bull haul out the HUGE trophy and present it to Big Show.  Show stands with his title in the ring as the show comes to an end. (90 minutes)

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.10

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We goofed a bit in the last issue.  The Sting/Lesnar match was supposed to be the main event but after Master Bull heard who Super Warrior was bringing in as the Warriors’ partner, he made the change without letting anyone else know.  Sorry about that.

Today’s show begins with GM Master Bull making his way out to the stage.  Master Bull declares that he is announcing the first match for the February PPV Warzone here tonight.  It will be the Ascension vs Donnie B and MW3 for the World Tag Team titles.  Bull goes on to explain that he is putting off the Ascension’s title shot until then as he wants them to continue to plow through all the teams in the HWF and CSWA so that when they beat the champs, it will prove their deserve it.  But, if someone more worthy were to step up, that could change things.

We are ready for our first match and out comes Ethan Carter III and Rockstar Spud.   They make their way out and await their opponents.  Old West music hits and out comes the Desperados El Chango and the Stache.  ECIII begins laughing and asks for a mic.  “HAHAHA. This is the best you got for us?  The Fruit Roll up? HAHA.”  El Chango starts to get pissed off and starts to make his way to the ring but Stache holds him back.  ECIII continues “Hey Slim Jim, take it easy.”  Stache gives the nod and they rush to the ring.  ECIII and Spud bail.  ECIII says that if they want them in the ring, the Desperados need to put their tag team title spot on the line.  El Chango agrees.  ECIII and Spud were controlling the match but the longer it went on, the more vicious the Desperados became.  Not sensing a good end to this match, Carter and Spud bail out of the ring getting counted out.  The Desperados get the countout win and retain their spot but nothing was settled here tonight.

We cut to the interview area where former Women’s Champion AJ Lee is being interviewed.  Lee says she is challenging #1 contender Natalya Neidhart for her spot.  She is heading to the ring now for that match.  The former Women’s Champion dominated the match and in 17 minutes, gets the win after connecting with the Shining Wizard.  AJ is now the #1 contender.  She gets on the mic and tells Women’s Champion Angelina Love that next show, she demands her match.  Love comes out and says that she will defend the title when and where she wants.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says that the GM’s get to dictate when and where so next show, it will be Love vs Lee for the title….Sister.

We are ready for our next match which has North American Champion Big Show taking on Jay Lethal.  This is a true example of Davey and Goliath (well, actually almost anyone going against Big Show is a whole lot smaller).  Before the match could begin, Mark Henry makes his way out.  2 minutes in, Big Show is dropkicked from the ring and Henry hits him with the World’s Strongest Slam.  Show ends up getting counted out so Lethal gets the CO win.  He is not happy about this and starts to yell at Henry from the ring.  Mark Henry climbs into the ring and starts to push Lethal around.  Lethal starts to pound on the World’s Strongest Man but with little effect.  Jay nails a couple of dropkicks which temporarily stuns Henry but then he catches Lethal coming from the top rope and hits the World’s Strongest Slam.  Henry stands over a beat up Lethal and says that HE should be the next contender for the NA title.  Henry then leaves.

In the back, Beer Money say that it seems no one can put down the Ascension but tonight, they will do exactly that. Bobby Roode asks “Whatcha gonna do MJ when Beer Money destroys the Ascension?”  Storm then adds “Brother”.

We head back to the ring where Beer Money have already gotten in the ring and are waiting.  Music hits and out comes MJ with the Ascension.  They head right to the ring and get into Beer Money’s faces.  The bell rings and we have ourselves a slobber-knocker.  This one was a street fight that went the full 30 minutes with no winner.  The match ends in a time limit draw.  The Ascension leave right after the match and then in from the crowd comes the American Wolves.  The Wolves beat down on Beer Money for a minute before they bail out of the ring.

Also being interviewed is the Bulgarian turned Russian Alexander Rusev.  Rusev says he should be the #1 contender for the North American title and is challenging A-Team member Abyss for his spot.

John Cena makes his way down to the ring.  He says he is glad to be back and promises to give nothing short of 100% from here on out each and every time he gets in the ring.  The fans chant (mockingly or not depending on your point of view) Super Cena…clap….clap…clapclapclap.  Cena shakes his head and then leaves the ring.

In the back interview area, Bobby Roode and James Storm give the Wolves crap about attacking them just after they finished a 30 minute war against the Ascension.  If they want another match, any time, any place, they’ve got it.

Next on the card is Alexander Rusev vs Abyss.  This was a major ass kicking by Abyss.  Rusev must not have expected anything like this.  After 9 ½ minutes of getting his ass kicked, Rusev hits Abyss with a chair causing a disqualification.  Abyss didn’t care for that and chased Rusev to the back.  Abyss retains his spot.

GM Hulk Hogan meets up with Sting. Hogan tells Sting that he is giving him the ability to determine the next specialty match between him and Brock Lesnar.  Sting says he will think about it and promises to let Hogan know before his next match.

Former IC champion Dolph Ziggler heads to the ring and issues a challenge to King Damian Sandow for his world title spot.  Sandow comes out with Prestige Inc. but his Royalness asks for his teammates to remain behind.  Sandow heads to the ring for what appears to be our Main Event.  This one only took 8 minutes to see Ziggler get the pin and move up in the rankings.  For some reason, Sandow didn’t seem all that disappointed.  Sandow called Prestige Inc to the ring.  Sandow congratulated Ziggler on his win.  Dolph then left.  Sandow said that Prestige Inc is united like never before and as promised, they are going to devote all their time in going after the 6 man titles.  Familiar music hits and it is the Ascension with MJ and Kane.  MJ asks why teams never learn and asks if Prestige Inc. wants yet another loss at the hands of his team.  Sandow says that right here and now, they are challenging the Ascension and Kane for their spot.  GM Master Bull comes out and makes the match official.  The Ascension and Kane don’t seem to be all that thrilled with Bull.  Kane glares at Bull as they leave.  This brings our show to an end.

Stay tuned as I’m sure we’ll start hearing of more matches being set up for the Warzone PPV.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.09

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  GM Hulk Hogan starts off the show by telling us that the main event for the evening will be Sting vs Brock Lesnar #4.  Master Bull comes out and says that it will be a specialty match that he will announce when it is time.  Bull also says that the Ascension and Kane are in the building and they will be wrestling tonight.   Super Warrior makes his way out.  SW asks Bull if Wyatt’s Warriors can be their opponents.  Bull reminds him that they are only two as Bray Wyatt is not here tonight.  SW says he has a secret weapon and this person will be their 3rd.  Bull says as long as it is 3 vs 3, he gives the stamp of approval.

Super Warrior and R-Truth run into GM Hulk Hogan.  They tell him in secret who their partner will be.  Hogan says “Well, Brother, he’s not part of the roster but here’s what I will do.  I will give him a one day contract so that he can compete here tonight.”  Super Warrior thanks Hogan and he and Truth leave.

Alicia Fox makes her way out and says that Angelina Love’s days are numbered as the champ as she will be challenging her for the title….she is interrupted by Southern Belle.  Belle says that she is challenging Alicia for her spot.  Per the federation rules, she has to accept.  Alicia begins to choke Belle on the top rope.  She won’t let up and the ref disqualifies her.  Alicia walks away thinking her spot is intact until the ref announces Belle as the winner of the match AND takes over the spot.  Alicia begins to scream and attacks Belle.  It is a short lived attack as Belle begins to hulk up and then hits Alicia with the Southern Swing.  Alicia bails out of the ring.  Belle celebrates with the fans before leaving.  (2 min match)

Wyatt’s Warriors are in the back being interviewed and the interviewer asks SW who their mystery tag team partner will be.  SW replies “Do you know how movie companies like to keep as much of the story under wraps until they are ready to disclose it? Well, this is no different.  Neither you, the Ascension or Kane will know who our partner is until it is time.  It’s Time…It’s Time…It’s Warrior Time.”

Alberto El Patron and the Tag Team Champions head down to the ring.  They say that even though they are not at the top, they are still going to call out 6 Man Champions The A-Team.  Austin Aries, Antonio Cesaro and Abyss all make their way out.  Aries comments that the schmucks in the ring are not the #1, 2, 3.4 or 5 in the top 10 and they think they can call out the champs???  Alberto calls Aries an egotistical, lying, hypocritical ass. “This doesn’t have to be for the titles; we just want to kick your asses.”  Aries gets pissed and they all head to the ring.  I guess we have ourselves a match.  The match goes 21 minutes and is controlled by the champs.  Right at the end, however, Donnie B takes out Abyss, MW3 eliminates Aries and Alberto catches Cesaro in a rolling cross armbreaker.  With no one to save him, Antonio taps out.  Alberto, Donnie B and MW3 get the win.

We are ready for the tournament to finish out the 10 for the HWF World title.  Everyone is in the ring until we hear “Hang on…one more coming.”  The final participant comes out and…HOLY COW…its John Cena.  Cena has returned.  This one was very interesting as it saw Konnor eliminate Viktor by accident after he crashed into him sending Viktor flying over the top rope.  #8 is Jack Swagger; #7 is Konnor; #6 Super Warrior; #5 Kevin Steen; #4 Dolph Ziggler; #3 Sheamus; #2 John Cena and the tourney was won by King Damian Sandow of Prestige Inc.   Reid Rothchild, Ravishing Raquel and Magnus all met his Lordship in the ring and they celebrated and then left together. (60 min)

MJ, The Ascension and Kane are in the back.  They say that it doesn’t matter who Wyatt’s Warriors find to be their partner, they will walk all over them like they do everyone else.

We head to the ring for our next match.  Out comes Sting first who gets in the ring and begins to pace.  Next, out comes the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar.  Lesnar is winning the series and has dominated his opponent at almost every step.  Master Bull comes out and says he’s taking a page out of the Undertaker’s playbook and is making this one a ‘Buried Alive’ match.  He gives them 30 minutes to get this done.  They don’t need it as once again, Brock dominated Sting.  At the 12 minute mark, Brock POWERBOMBED Sting into the Burial hole.  Brock kicks dirt into the grave and the bell rings signaling the end of the match.  Brock wins another one and goes 3 and 1.

We cut to the back once again and see Stache and El Chango watching the Savage/Steamboat match from Wrestlemania III.  Both are awestruck.  Ethan Carter III and Rockstar Spud walk over start talking over the match.  Stache asks them to stop but ECIII tells Stache “Sit down ya Fruit Roll up.”  El Chango stands up and starts to make a move towards them.  Rockstar Spud tells El Chango “Chill out Slim Jim”.  ECIII says “HA.  Snap in to THAT.”  ECIII dumps their popcorn on the floor and Spud kicks over their chairs.  Both walk away laughing.   El Chango and Stache say that it’s about time to put what they’ve learned to good use.

It is time for our main event.  MJ leads the Ascension and Kane down to the ring.   They await their opponents while walking around the ring.  Their music hits and out comes Wyatt’s Warriors – The Super Warrior and the Warrior of Truth.  MJ laughs and asks if their partner changed his mind.  Super Warrior has a mic and says that they, unlike the Ascension, MJ and Kane, respect their partner and only treat him with the utmost respect.  Over the loudspeaker comes “OHHHHHHHH What a RUSH!” and out walks Road Warrior Animal.  The crowd pops HUGE. Animal is dressed in his typical Road Warrior gear.  Animal takes the mic and says that he respects Wyatt’s Warriors and for this match, they won’t be Wyatt’s warriors but honorary members of the Legion of Doom.  Out comes a couple of backstage hands with the spiked shoulder pads and places it on SW and Truth.  We have a one night only new Legion of Doom.  SW, Truth and Animal run to the ring and MJ, Kane and the Ascension bail out of the ring.  This one was nothing short of a good ol’ fashioned back alley fight.  For 29 solid minutes, all six men beat the crap out of each other but no one could a get a leg up over their opponents.  Super Warrior hurls Konnor out of the ring and while on the outside, Animal nails a power clothesline.  Konnor ends up getting counted out.  Super Warrior, Animal and Truth get a win via Countout.  Kane and Viktor run into the ring but Truth dropkicks Viktor out of the ring.  Animal and SW double team Kane.  Animal tells SW to get Kane up on his shoulders.  The fans pop again huge knowing what is coming.  Animal goes to the top rope and nails a clothesline from the top rope mimicking the LOD’s original ending move.  Kane, after crashing back down to the mat, rolls out of the ring where MJ and the Ascension collect him and take him to the back.  Super Warrior, Truth and Animal all celebrate in the ring much to the delight of the fans bringing the show to an end.

Thanks for reading.  Stay tuned for more action.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.08

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  January is just slamming with show after show after show.

The show begins with Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler being interviewed.  Dolph says he accepts the challenge from Buff Austin.  In fact, he tells Buff to head to the ring as they are on first.

Buff Austin (formerly known as Senor Vampiro) makes his way to the ring and is booed by the fans.  He flips them off as he gets to the ring.  The champ comes out next and is cheered by the fans.  Dolph has this one all wrapped up until Buff hits Ziggler with the Quan Je.  He makes the quick cover and with a handful of tights, gets the 1-2-3.  Buff Austin has just defeated Ziggler to become the NEW INTERCONTINENTAL Champion.  He kicks and stomps Dolph until he falls out of the ring.  Buff parades around the ring until he flips off the fans and then leaves with his new title. (16 min)

Master Bull then comes out and says that up next will be a tournament to determine the top 10 for the IC and X-Division title.  The roster makes it to the ring. A few notes:  Both members of the Ascension were eliminated by the Super Warrior (Viktor was ousted with help from the Stache).  Also to note that Brock Lesnar F-5’d Sting right out of the ring. Sheamus ends up with the win after eliminating Kane.  The top 10 in these categories is now full.

The Stache is in the back watching TV.  El Chango walks over and asks what he’s doing.  “You know, I came here because I have a passion for this business and for me to succeed at it, I need to learn everything I can.  I’m watching old matches…and there really are some great ones.  The Midnight Express vs the Rock N Roll Express, The LOD vs Regal & Hennig in the AWA, Ric Flair vs Magnum TA, Eddie Guerrero vs Dean Melanko or Chris Benoit…the list goes on and on.  I absorb everything I see and hope that it makes me a better wrestler and entertainer.”  El Chango looked at him and said “Move over and pass the popcorn.”

We head back to the ring for our next match.  First, out comes the Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel who is accompanied by her husband ‘The Elitist’ Reid Rothchild.  She is then followed out by Women’s Champion Angelina Love.  Love immediately gets in Raquel’s face and slaps her right across the face.  The bell rings and Raquel goes right at her.  Raquel totally owned this match but a disturbance in the crowd caught her attention for just a split second and Love hit her with the Lights Out.  Angelina makes the cover and gets the win at the 12 minute mark.  Angelina retains her Women’s title.  The disturbance grows larger and then we see why…someone is making their way to the ring.  HOLY COW, it is Awesome Kong.  She has returned.  She makes her way to the ring with her eyes locked on Angelina.  Love, freaking out, bolts out of the ring and makes like a bullet all the way to the back.  Kong gets on the mic and says she’s happy to be back and she feels she’ll be an interesting mix to the Women’s lineup.

Bray Wyatt cuts a promo and says that the time is nigh and Kurt Angle’s time is up.  Bray promises he will be the Undisputed Champion once again.

The Dust Brothers make their way out.  They say that they want a piece of the action and call out The Ascension to challenge them for their tag team title spot.  MJ accompanies his team and says that this will be no different than any of the other matches they’ve had.  This was an 11 minute ass-kicking.  The Ascension tore the Dust Brothers apart.  Viktor hits Stardust with a European uppercut that sent him flying out of the ring.  He gets counted out giving the Ascension another win.

Fighting for the #9 spot in the Women’s top 10 is Spider Violet vs Brie Bella.  In a 22 minute battle, Brie ends up getting the win after hitting a Sitout Facebuster.

Kurt Angle is being interviewed and he says that there is no way Bray is walking out tonight; he will be taken out on a stretcher.  It’s TRUE; it’s DAMN TRUE.

Fighting for the #10 spot in the Women’s top 10 is Madison Rayne vs former champion AJ Lee.  This one goes 19 minutes and AJ gets the win after hitting the Shining Wizard.

It is time for the main event.  Master Bull comes out and says he is putting on this match.  He is interrupted by Hulk Hogan who says he is the one orchestrating this one.  Hogan says that the match will be best of 3 falls; 60 minute time limit.  Master Bull adds that it will be in a steel cage.  They turn and stare at each other and then both leave.

Kurt Angle defends the Undisputed Title against Bray Wyatt.  The first fall goes to Bray Wyatt who pinned Kurt after hitting Sister Abigail in 11 minutes.  For the next fall during the first 12 minutes, both men went toe to toe.  Angle hits an Angle Slam but Bray kicks out at 2.  Angle keeps up the fight and for the next 23 minutes, owns Bray.  After hitting Kurt with a low blow, he nails Kurt with Sister Abigail.  He makes the cover and gets the 3 count and then climbs the cage to try to escape.  Kurt follows him up and prevents him from leaving.  Bray bounces Kurt’s head off the top of the cage.  Bray then hits Kurt with a headbutt and Kurt falls back in the ring.  Bray makes it over the top and drops to the floor.  Bray Wyatt has just regained the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.  He parades around the outside of the ring with his title while a bloody and beat up Kurt watches from the confines of the cage as the show comes to an end.

Thanks for reading.  Stay tuned as it’s just getting better.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.07

Hello fans and welcome back to our wrestling newsletter.   Today’s show begins with MJ and the Ascension making their way to the ring.  Vikor asks for the mic.  “Throughout wrestling history, there have been so-called ‘dominant’ tag teams.  There have been the Horsemen, Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff, the Koloffs, the Von Erichs, the Funks, the Samoans, the British Bulldogs, Harlem Heat, the Freebirds, the Hart Foundation, the Steiners, the Dudleys, Demolition, The Rock N Roll Express, the Midnight Express, the Rock N Sock Connection and of course the Legion of Doom – The Road Warriors.  NONE of these teams are fit to carry our bags.”  Booing ensues.  He hands the mic to Konnor.  “We are here in the HWF and CSWA for one reason only.  We are here for the World Tag Team titles.  Donnie B…MW3…You can keep running; keep hiding as we will blast through anything and everyone until those belts are ours.”  Viktor takes the mic back.  “Ohhhhhhh What a JOKE.  Speaking of jokes, wasn’t there another ‘joke’ of a team called the Blade Runners with some ‘ultimate’ tool…”

“Hold it right there.  I’ve heard enough”.  Out comes the Super Warrior with the Warrior of Truth to a huge pop from the audience.  SW has a mic in hand.

YOU DARE?!  You two DISRESPECTFUL ‘WANNA BE BUT NEVER WILL BE’ PUNKS dare have the AUDACITY to compare yourselves to ANY of those LEGENDARY tag teams, let alone the GREATEST TAG TEAM OF ALL TIME, The Road Warriors?!?!  And further still you insult my mentor and inspiration, The Ultimate Warrior?!?!?!    You UNGRATEFUL PUNKS come out here wearing Warrior-like garb and paint your faces in Warrior-like fashion but you DAMN sure have NOT earned the right to do so!!!    These WARRIORS are gonna make you pay for your transgressions in TRUE WARRIOR style by beating the HOLY HELL out of you both and we will do it for the honor of the Warriors that have come before that have dared to mock this day!!!.

Both teams are in the ring and for 9 minutes, Super Warrior and Warrior of Truth took the fight to the Ascension.  For a while there, MJ was looking concerned.  Suddenly, a double team by the Ascension turned the tide in their favor and 4 minutes later, Super Warrior eats a big foot sending him out of the ring.  MJ jumps on the ring and chokes Truth on the top rope.  Truth turns around and eats an uppercut.  Konnor makes the cover and gets the pin on Truth.  Super Warrior got a chair and chased MJ away and then got back in the ring and went after the Ascension with the steel chair chasing them from the ring.  As MJ was leaving, he yelled “Welcome to the wastelands.”  Wyatt’s Warriors remained in the ring and celebrated with the fans.  Super Warrior was heard telling fans at ringside that this isn’t over with the Ascension by a long shot.

Bray Wyatt is in the interview area.  “Kurt Angle, when I finally defeat you and take back my title, it will mark the end of our great journey.  Kurt, the devil is real; he’s not just a man with red horns and a pointed tail.  He is Pain; he is suffering.  And when the time comes, he will walk beside me.  You will be a lost soul…forever trapped in your own nightmare.  Kurt, you made your bed and now you’re going to rot in it.”

Master Bull makes the decision to run a tournament for the Top 10 for the 6 Man Tag Team titles even though the Ascension just fought in a match.  He says that if someone wants the belts bad enough, they’ll do whatever it takes to get there.

We have our next match which has Jeff Hardy taking on ‘EY’ Eric Young.  Jeff got frustrated multiple times as he couldn’t keep EY down.  It took 26 minutes for Jeff to finally pin EY.  After the match, Jeff looked like he wanted to take more frustrations out on EY but decided to just leave.

Fighting for the #8 spot in the Women’s top 10 is Fusion Valentine vs Nikki Bella.  In 14 minutes, Fusion catches Nikki with the Chilean Drop (moonsault) and got the pin.  Ms. Valentine is in the top 10.

Brock Lesnar is in the back and says that Sting got lucky in their last fight.  He is going to turn up the PAIN and Sting will suffer.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  First, out comes ‘Black Machismo’ Jay Lethal.  He is then followed by Daniel Bryan.  This one goes 12 minutes and sees Lethal sneak out a win after hitting the Flying Elbow Drop. (12 min)

In the back, AJ Lee approaches the Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel.  She says that the two of them are on a collision course.  She was hoping that they could have done a ‘champion vs champion’ match but Angelina Love took her belt.  She says she respects Raquel for everything she’s done since coming to the HWF and CSWA but AJ wants, nay, needs a title and the Diva’s title is within her grasp.  Raquel says that their match will indeed happen but it will be AFTER she gets her match against Angelina Love and then she’ll meet AJ as the Undisputed Women’s and Diva’s Champion.  They glare at each other as the segment ends.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  Zack Ryder comes out first.  ‘Old West’ music plays and out comes The Stache with El Chango.  Stache gets in the ring and the bell rings.  El Chango was looking intimidating pacing at ringside.  Stache owned the match and in 10 minutes, he got Ryder to tap out to the Handlebar (camel clutch).

Buff Austin is being interviewed and he says he is calling out the IC Champion Dolph Ziggler.  He says that if Ziggler is a man, he will accept the challenge.

GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says that tonight will see the 3rd match between Sting and Brock Lesnar and that match is next.  First, out comes Brock Lesnar.  Lesnar makes a beeline for the ring and starts pacing.  Sting comes out next to a good pop from the crowd.  Hogan says he is giving them both 30 minutes to get done what needs to be.  He then leaves.  As soon as the bell rings, the two opponents go after each other.  Brock was true to his word and he did turn up the intensity.  These two fought extremely hard for 24 minutes.  Sting actually got Brock in the Scorpion Death Lock twice but the Beast Incarnate would not quit.  Brock hit Sting twice with the F-5 but the Stinger just kept kicking out.  Brock went for a 3rd but Sting reversed it and splashed Brock in the corner.  After a few minutes, Brock battled back and then went to the top rope and hit a flying clothesline that nearly took Sting’s head off.  Exhausted, Brock crawled over and draped an arm on Sting.  The ref counted 1...2…3.  Brock gets his second win against Sting.  Both men needed help getting up.  Brock dragged himself to the back and Sting received assistance from the ref.  GM Hulk Hogan ordered an MRI to make sure Sting didn’t suffer a concussion (his head did bounce off the mat pretty hard).

It is time for the main event.  We are back to the ring for our 6 man tag team title tournament.  The finals, not surprising, came down to the Ascension w/ Kane vs Bray Wyatt & Wyatt’s Warriors.  Adding Bray in to support the Warriors gave the Super Warrior the intestinal fortitude to open a can of whup-ass like never seen before.  SW was definitely channeling the power of the LOD and his mentor (RIP) the Ultimate Warrior.  Seeing an end that would not have been beneficial to them, the Ascension and Kane all grabbed chairs and blasted the Warriors with them getting disqualified.  They then jumped out of the ring.   Wyatt & the Warriors are the #1 contenders for the 6 Man tag team titles.   In from the crowd runs Kurt Angle and goes on the attack he and Bray brawl all the way to the back.  Kane and the Ascension returned to the ring but this time both Truth and SW had the steel chairs and the show ended with the victors in the ring holding off their opponents.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.06

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Action is just flying everywhere and we are here to report every juicy tidbit we come across.

The show begins with Alberto El Patron (formerly Del Rio) coming down.  He gets an ovation like none other.  He says he is happy to be back in the HWF and CSWA.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and personally welcomes Alberto back into to the fold.  Hogan says Alberto is all legit now and as long as he keeps his nose clean, they won’t have any issues.  The A-Team comes out to break up the party and Austin Aries asks “Where is this supposed team you have that will be in your corner against us?”  Alberto says “Right behind you.”  They turn around as music hits and out comes the World Tag Team Champions ‘The Original Big Daddy’ Donnie B and MW3.  The champs walk down to the ring and the A-team stays out of their way.  Alberto says that as a member of the now-defunct 719 Cartel, he and the champs (known back then as the Mexicali Flyers) got along well and it was Donnie B who turned Del Rio into El Pollo Riche.  They will be teaming up in the 6 man tag team tournament to try and get those belts off of the A-Team.  New music hits and out comes MJ and the Ascension.  MJ says that the champs already have their plates full with ‘MY’ team and shouldn’t be stretching themselves too thin.  Music hits and out comes the Jones Boys.  They say that they are here to challenge the Ascension for their spot in the tag team top 10.  MJ questions if that is the best course of action.  The Jones boys won’t back down.  It looks like that match is up next.  All of the other teams leave.

For 12 minutes, the Jones Boys held their own against the Ascension but after some consecutive double teaming, the Ascension continued their dominance.  Viktor and Konnor turned up the heat and beat on the Jones boys for another 14 minutes.  The end came after Viktor reversed a neck snap from #ConanJones and knocks him out with a knee to the head.  He makes the cover and gets the win.  The Ascension get another win.  MJ gets on the mic and says that the champs can hide all they want and put whomever they want against HIS team…it won’t matter as they will blow through everyone.

Next up is the battle royal for the Top 10 for the Diva’s title.  Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel comes out to scout the match.  The top 6 spots are filled with #6 going to Southern Belle, #5 is Natalya Neidhart, #4 to Velvet Sky, #3 to Gail Kim, #2 to Layla El and the #1 contender is none other than former Women’s Champion AJ Lee.  AJ stands in the ring and is looking intently at Raquel and motions that she will be the next Champion.

It is time for our next match which has the team of Robbie E, Ethan Carter III and Rockstar Spud taking on Prestige Inc.’s King Damian Sandow, Magnus and ‘The Elitist’ Reid Rothchild.  This was a short match that saw triple teaming by Prestige Inc. right off the bat.  However, Reid got trapped in the corner and then was beat down for 2 minutes.  He miraculously nails a Rothchild Stunner and pins Spud in the middle of the ring. (6 min)

GM Hulk Hogan comes out and announces he just signed a new tag team to the CSWA - the American Wolves – Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards.  The Wolves shake hands with Hogan and then head to the ring.  They mock the tag team tournament and question how you can have a tournament without the best tag team in the world participating.  This prompts Beer Money (James Storm and Bobby Roode) to come out and they have a verbal spat.  The Wolves challenge Beer Money for their title spot.  At first, Bobby Roode says no.  Richards then says “How Roode” which gets a chuckle from the crowd but then after more goading, they agree.  Hogan is still on stage and says the match will happen NOW.

This was a pretty even match for as long as it went on.  It was easy to see that Roode and Storm got frustrated many times that they couldn’t keep the Wolves down.  Finally, at the 19 minute mark, Storm distracted the ref and Bobby blasted Davey Richards with a beer bottle to the head knocking him out.  Storm then dropkicks Edwards from the ring.  Bobby makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Beer Money stand proud in the ring happy with their questionable win until Eddie Edwards got back in the ring with a chair and chased Roode and Storm from the ring.  I’m sure these two teams will be meeting again.

Kurt Angle is being interviewed and says that he will deal with Bray Wyatt in good time but says that Jericho has waited long enough and is due his title shot.  That will be our main event tonight.

Next up we have Kofi Kingston taking on the Fiend w/ the Miz.  This one goes 11 minutes and the Fiend gets the win after hitting a Miz-fit flip.

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose make their way out for their non-title match against the Tag Team Champs MW3 and ‘The Original Big Daddy’ Donnie B.  The match ends up going to a no-contest after the Ascension came down and attacked both teams.

It is time for the Main Event with challenger Chris Jericho taking on CSWA World Champion Kurt Angle.  The bell rings and both men shake hands.  The match goes 23 minutes and after Kurt was choking Jericho in the corner (kind of bad guy-ish for an Olympic Hero), he nails an Angle Slam and in 23 minutes, gets the win.

After the match, the lights go dark and Bray Wyatt comes out holding a single lantern.  He sits in a rocking chair (where did that come from?) and begins to sing “He’s got the whole world in his hands” but very creepy like.  Angle doesn’t let him get to the second verse as he runs out of the ring.  Bray stands up to meet him and then swings the rocking chair at Angle.  The chair smashes into Angle and it explodes as Kurt drops to the ground.  Bray begins stomping on him until the Caped Crusader shows up.  Bray tells the Crusader “Don’t get involved in matters that ain’t none of your business, BOY!”  The Crusader goes to help Angle and is attacked by Bray.  Bray hits the Caped Crusader with the Sister Abigail and CC is down.  The show comes to an end with Bray continuing to sing.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.05

Hello fans and welcome back to our show.  January just continues with the action so without further ado, let’s get right to it.

The show begins with a tournament to set up the top 10 for the world tag team titles.  There were 16 teams who were vying for the coveted #1 spot but only one would get it.  World Tag Team champs Donnie B and MW3 made their way to ringside to sit and do color commentary.  Before the tournament could begin, MJ got on the mic and promised that the Ascension was going to win and that Donnie B and MW3 would have to deal with HIS team.  Hahahahaha.

MJ was right.  The Ascension encountered some resistance but ended up plowing through the following teams:  Adam Rose and Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn & Roderick Strong, the Desperados and Xavier Woods and Tyson Kidd.  The Ascension stand in the ring staring at the champs.  Donnie B and MW3 stand up and stare back at them.  MJ ends up leading his team away.

Big Show comes out and says that no one is going to stop him as he prepares for his US title shot.  Bobby Lashley comes out and says he is here to challenge Big Show for his spot.  Show says that he worked hard to get to this spot.  This prompted GM Hulk Hogan to come out and remind Show that no one owns their spot and they are always on the line. Hogan says Lashley’s request is valid and that match is happening next.

The match didn’t go as long as expected but what was expected was the dominance from Lashley.  He owned the North American Champion and after beating Show down, hit him with the Dominator and made the cover to get the 1-2-3.  Lashley moves up in the rankings and Show moves down.

The first title match of the night has Hardcore Champion Sheamus taking on Mark Henry using Brawl Games rules in a best of 3 falls 60 minute time limit match.  The first fall goes to Henry after he KO’d Sheamus and he could not get back up before the 10 count. (13 min)  Sheamus shook off whatever rust was holding him back and in a 14 minute ass-kicking, Sheamus knocks out Henry and gets the win.  The third and deciding fall will be a ‘Falls count anywhere’ match.  Henry was getting beat just like the last fall until he reversed an irish whip and splashed Sheamus in the corner.  Sheamus wobbled out of the corner and Henry nails the World’s Strongest Slam and gets the 3 count.  Mark Henry is the NEW Hardcore Champion.

Fighting for the #7 spot in the Women’s top 10 is Southern Belle taking on Alicia Fox.  Belle was beating the tar out of Alicia but Fox managed to plant a foreign object on Belle and once the ref saw it, she was DQ.  Fox was laughing at her and then Belle went ‘Hulk’ on her.  She began beating the tar out of Alicia so she bailed.  Master Bull came out and said that Fox wins the #7 spot BUT Belle can challenge her for that spot at any time in the future.

Master Bull remained out and said that the match between Women’s Champion Angelina Love and Ravishing Raquel would be postponed. He did not give a reason why.

Next up is Shield member Seth Rollins taking on MW3.  This was a relatively short match as interference from Dean Ambrose ended this one as a DQ.  Ambrose and Rollins were double teaming MW3 until Donnie B ran down and then he and MW3 cleared house.  As soon as they were done, the Ascension came out and attacked the champs.  The champs fought off the Ascension and sent them off like scalded dogs.

The lights go out and then a single lantern comes on.  Bray Wyatt is holding the lantern and he makes his way to the ring.  Bray says this light symbolizes the final hope Angle has in keeping the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.  Bray says that the title is still rightfully his and he will keep doing whatever it takes to get his title back.  The lights come on and out comes Kurt Angle, running at full speed towards the ring.  Bray bails.  Kurt yells at him to get back in the ring.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says that Kurt owes someone the beating of a lifetime.  Normally, the Undisputed Heavyweight title is only defended at PPV’s but if Kurt wants to, he can defend it anytime.  Kurt agrees and says that the match will happen.  “IT’S TRUE, IT’S DAMN TRUE!”

We cut to the back where the Icon Sting is being interviewed.  He says he was not prepared for Brock before but he now knows what he has to do. Brock will NOT put his shoulders to the mat again for a 3 count.

We go to the ring for our main event which is the second match between Brock Lesnar and Sting.  Brock is currently at 1-0.  Sting comes out and is very determined.  This one goes 25 minutes and as Sting promised, he shoulders didn’t stay down for 3.  Sting took the fight to Lesnar and at the end, Sting was pouncing on Brock in the corner but Brock moved.  Sting saw it coming and stopped short of running into the corner. Sting got Brock to the top rope and nailed a side Suplex.  He crawled over and draped an arm over the Beast Incarnate.  Sting gets the win putting their series at 1-1.

Just as the show is coming to an end, the 6 Man Tag Team Champions the A-Team (Austin Aries, Antonio Cesaro and Abyss) make their way to the ring.  They talk about the great singles wrestlers here but no one can touch this incarnation of the A-Team.  They are the best there is, (boos from the crowd) the best there was (the booing gets louder) and the best there ever will be (the booing is deafening now – they obviously stole that line from the Hart Foundation).  All of a sudden, we here “Hola, I’m back…” come out over the loudspeaker and out comes the wrestler formerly known as Alberto Del Rio.  He runs at the A-Team with a chair and clears the ring.  He introduces himself now as Alberto el Patron and he is here to personally dismantle the A-Team.  ‘The Man’ Austin Aries asks him how expects to do that on his own and Alberto says he asked for help and soon, he will introduce them to the A-Team.  Alberto stands proud in the ring as the show comes to an end.

Thanks for reading.  Be sure to stay tuned for more action.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.04

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  GM’s Hulk Hogan and Master Bull have the rosters moving at full speed as they wanted 2015 to really start off with a bang.  They are sure doing that.

At today’s event, the show begins with a battle royal to determine the Top 10 for the CSWA World title.  One thing that was changed was that only those wrestlers not already in a spot for either the North American or US title participated.  There was a surprise (and to be honest, totally unexpected) star of the battle Royal – MW3.  Seth Rollins had eliminated a lot of people by himself but got ousted by MVP.  MW3 had an impressive showing against Mark Henry and even (somehow) got the big guy over the top rope all by himself.  MW3 then eliminates MVP to win a title shot at the CSWA World Champion. (60 min)

The Caped Crusader is being interviewed and he says that even though he’s tried, he can’t be in all places at once and determines to set up a league to help him enforce the rules of good sportsmanship…a ‘Justice League’ if you will.  CC says Kurt Angle is a great role model with his 3 I’s:  Intelligence, Integrity, and Intensity.

We go back to the ring for our next match.  First, out comes Adam Rose and Adrian Neville.  They don’t look to be too happy.  Music hits and out comes MJ and the Ascension.  The match didn’t go too long.  At the 6 minute mark, Viktor throws Adam Rose out of the ring.  Konnor follows him out and then powerbombs him through the Spanish Announce Table.  He rolls back in the ring and Rose gets counted out.  The Ascension gets another win.  MJ then gets on the mic and says that he has made a strategic alliance.  The Ascension will be entering the 6 man tag team competition.  When in a 6 man match, they will team with this man…orange flames go off and out comes Kane.  Kane makes his way to the ring.  He raises his arms and then lowers them.  Flames shoot up out of the ringposts.  Kane then takes the mic from MJ.  He says that the Ascension are going to be the THE team of 2015 and if they choose to go after the 6 man tag team titles, he wants to be right there with them.  He nods to Konnor and Viktor and shakes hands with MJ and then leaves.  MJ and the Ascension follow.

MW3 is in the back being interviewed but Seth Rollins walks up. Rollins says that they have a match coming up soon but Rollins didn’t ask for this match; MW3 did.  If MW3 really wants to take on “this dog”, he should put his title shot on the line.  “Or are you chicken?” Rollins asks.  MW3 agrees to put his shot on the line with the caveat that when Rollins loses, he forfeits his title shot.  Rollins got pissed off but eventually accepted the stipulation.

We go back to the ring for our next match.  Randy Orton comes out first and then is followed by Ryback who is accompanied by Shield teammates Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.  Ambrose and Rollins tried to interfere but then out comes the World Tag Team Champions ‘The Original Big Daddy’ Donnie B and MW3.  They walk down to the ring and end up forcing Rollins and Ambrose to leave the ring leaving Orton to take on Ryback on his own.  After a 12 minute battle, Orton peppered Ryback with rapid punches.  Ryback staggered out of the corner and walked right into an RKO.  Randy makes the cover and gets the pin. (12 min).  Ambrose and Rollins ran down but Orton bailed smirking all the way to the back.

Senor Vampiro makes his way down to the ring to the cheering of the fans.  He gets in the ring with a mic.  “You know, I’ve had a great time here in the HWF and CSWA teaming with the 719 Cartel and feuding with El Chango.  With a new year comes a new change.  I’ve done everything I can as Senor Vampiro and now, Vampiro is no more.  Going forward, I will be known as…Buff Austin.  That’s right…a new name comes a new outlook.  You say that you’ve supported me but I say that is a crock of SHIT.  You fans don’t care about anyone but yourselves.  I’m going to do my own thing my own way.  I don’t’ need any of you cheering me.  As far as I care, you can all go to HELL.”  The new Buff Austin leaves to the booing from the fans.

It is Main Event time and we are ready for the next match which will be for the Women’s title.  Champion AJ Lee will be defending the title against Angelina Love.  Master Bull comes out and says that for this match, the best of 3 falls stipulation will be in place.  Angelina Love scores the first fall after hitting AJ with a Suplex.  Before the next fall could begin, Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel makes her way down and sits at ringside assisting with color commentary.  AJ was not on her game and Angelina capitalized on it.  Angelina battles for 12 minutes and after locking AJ in a camel clutch, she lets her go and the surprisingly goes for a pin.  The ref counts 1…2….3.  Angelina Love has just become the NEW Women’s Champion and the first newly crowned champion in 2015.  Velvet Sky comes down and the two celebrate in the ring.  Ravishing Raquel stands up and mockingly claps for Angelina.  She and Velvet Sky jump down from the ring and get into Raquel’s face.  Raquel says that since AJ Lee is no longer the champ, she is calling in her marker.  She is challenging Love for the Women’s title next show.  Angelina doesn’t look happy.  Master Bull comes out again and says the match is official.

With this announcement, the show comes to an end.  Stay tuned as the action will be continuing.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.03

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  The HWF and CSWA are pulling out all the stops to keep the momentum going throughout the month of January.  February will host the first PPV of the year called ‘Warzone’ (they opted to leave off the ‘Battlefield of Pain’ moniker).

Today’s issue begins with an update on John Cena.  We got word that Cena has finally been released from the hospital.  We continue to wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in the ring soon.

Master Bull got to pick the first team that was ‘fed’ to the Ascension. Hulk Hogan will get to make the next pick and he said he would announce that later in the show.

The show kicks off with Prestige Inc. (King Damian Sandow, Magnus, The Elitist Reid Rothchild and Ravishing Raquel) all come down to the ring. Reid makes the declaration that he is officially retiring the Elitist Championship.  He says that 2015 will be the year of the Team as he will devote all his time to Prestige Inc. and they will set their sights on the 6 Man tag team titles.  This team looks as united as ever.  Raquel then got on the mic and said that Women’s Champion AJ Lee has agreed to meet with her to discuss what their match will be.  She is looking forward to this.

Next, a battle royal is starting that will establish the top 10 for the North American and US titles.  This one went on for 60 minutes and basically the entire roster except for Kurt Angle and AJ Styles participated.  It came down to Jay Lethal and Big Show.  Show nails a big boot to the face of Lethal sending him over the top rope.  Big Show is the #1 contender for the US title and Lethal will be the #1 contender for the North American title. (60 min)

During the battle royal, Seth Rollins eliminated MW3 with his own move – the superkick.  MW3 didn’t take to kindly to that.  MW3 stuck around (not sure how/why the refs didn’t send him to the back), he distracted Rollins who got eliminated by Adrian Neville.  Rollins and MW3 brawled all the way to the back.

GM Hulk Hogan comes out and thanks everyone for their participation in the battle royal.  Now, a certain ‘Ayatollah of Rock N Rollah’ is due for a title shot against CSWA World Champion Kurt Angle. Hogan says that match will be the main event of the evening.

We head back to the ring for our next match which has X-Division Champion Tyler Breeze defending the title against Mike Bennett.  This match was one of the shortest that didn’t end in a count out.  In just 2 minutes, Breeze nails Bennett with the Implant DDT and gets the 3 count.  Breeze totally stood out.  This guy is crazy good.

Chris Jericho is in the back and says he is ready to take on the Olympic Hero and he will once again become the World Champion.

We make our way back to the ring for the next match which has Kenta and Sanada taking on the Uso’s.  Kenta and Sanada controlled the tempo of the match but just couldn’t put the Uso’s down.  This match ended up going to the 30 minute time limit and ends in a draw.

There is commotion in the back and as the cameras make their way back there, we see that Angle is on the floor unconscious.  Hogan is pissed that his main event was just ruined.  Master Bull walks over and says ‘I’ve got this.  Ladies and Gentlemen of the HWF and CSWA audience, with Kurt out of commission, tonight’s main event will be even better.  Tonight, for the first time, Sting and Brock Lesnar will meet for the first of their best of seven match up to see who gets the next title shot at Bray Wyatt.’  He turns and smirks at Hogan before leaving.   I wonder if Master Bull had anything to do with this…

Next on the card we have Samoa Joe heading to the ring for singles action.  Out walks ‘Bad News’ Wade Barrett and he tells Joe that he has some bad news for him…another loss.  He laughs as he walks to the ring.  Barrett had the match controlled for the first few minutes after he hit Joe with the BallHammer but then Joe got mad.  Joe beat Barrett senseless and then finally finished him off with a Muscle Buster at the 20 minute mark.  Joe prods Barrett with his toe to make sure he’s still alive and then leans down and says “Bad Luck there Mate” and then leaves the ring.

HWF World Champion Bray Wyatt is in the back and he says that at this time, he doesn’t care about Sting or Brock Lesnar.  He cares about Kurt Angle who is in an ambulance nursing his wounds.  “Angle, Sister Abigail has accused you of taking something that doesn’t belong to you.  You have something of mine and I promise you, your life will be a disaster until I get MY title back.”  He then begins to laugh maniacally with a very crazed look in his eyes.

MJ and the Ascension make their way out and head to the ring.  MJ has a mic.  “Mr GM Hulk Hogan, I thought you were going to have a team for my boys to fight.  Is everyone in the CSWA already afraid of the Ascension?”  He laughs until Hogan’s music hits and he comes out to the stage.  “Listen Brother, the Hulkster was in the process of setting this up.  Are you just so impatient that you want your team to get their first loss?”  MJ interrupts him.  “Now see here, MY team is the future of this sport.  Whoever you feed to them will only make them hunger more until we finally get the Tag Team Champions in the ring.  I’ve promised that we will destroy every team we have to in order to get those title shots.  A new day is coming Mr. Hogan.  A day you and the combined rosters of the HWF and CSWA may not take to very well.”  Hogan broke back in.  “At the next show…that’s right, you and your boys have the night off…The Ascension will be taking on…Adam Rose and Adrian Neville.”  MJ just shakes his head and he and the Ascension leave the ring.

It is time for the main event.  Master Bull makes his way out to the ring.  He gets on the mic and introduces the competitors in this match.  “First, from California…the Icon…Sting.”  Sting makes his way down to the ring hi-fiving the fans along the way.  “His opponent is the Beast Incarnate…Brock Lesnar.”  Lesnar is bound and determined and he almost hit a fan who tried to grab his arm.  Brock glares at Master Bull until he leaves the ring.  He and Sting have a stare down until the bell is rung and then it’s on.  Sting starts off like wildfire and is peppering Lesnar with punches and chops. He drops Brock with the Scorpion death drop and gets a 2 count.  Brock hurls Sting out of the ring for a 7 count.  Sting kicks him in the gut but then gets caught in an F-5.  He rolls out of the ring to avoid the pin attempt.  Sting nails the Stinger splash and then screams in his face “AAAWWOOOOHHHH”.  Brock pushes him off and as Sting charges, Brock catches him in a Press & Slam. He folds the Stinger up like a package and gets the 1-2-3 in just 7 minutes.  Brock then dumps Sting out of the ring and stands victorious in the ring as the show comes to an end.
