Hello fans and
welcome to Day 3 of our Critical Mass PPV.
It has been a wild ride so far and after tonight, we are all looking
forward to taking the next two weeks off to rest and recuperate. Right
after the Hall of Fame ceremony, we met up with the flannel wearing lumberjack
Jack Lumber. Jack had this to say about
his former opponent the Axe: “Glad there’s no hard feelings been me and the Axe. Welcome to
the hall of fame big guy. I’ll change the placard next to the tree I
planted for you so it says, “Hall of Famer, the Axe.”
Pyro goes off and
Day 3 officially kicks off. We head
right back down to commentary with J9 and Dash ‘Smooooth’ Woodbrick.
J9: Welcome back one and all to Day 3 of the
Critical Mass PPV. Alongside me is the
always-annoying Dash Woodbrick.
Dash: Why you gotta be that way?
J9: If you have to ask, you simply don’t get
it. Anyway, we have a full day worth of
matches but before we go into that, I wanted to address Jack Lumber’s statement
from the evening after the Hall of Fame.
Dash: Do we gotta?
J9: Yes. I
think it’s admirable that he shows respect to a man he feuded with.
Dash: Yeah, what a swell guy (sarcasm dripping out
of his voice).
J9: Give me a break Dash. Look over there, it looks like the Lumber
Lounge is packed to the gills.
Dash: Bunch of Rednecks.
J9: Dash, I have to warn you, that mouth of yours
is overdrafting.
Dash: To each their own. You know, since we haven’t started this yet,
that GM Master Bull. I still can’t
believe he hasn’t been fired or at least demoted. You know, if I got in the ring, I bet I could
whip his @ss.
Just then, music
hit and out comes our two GM’s Max McGillicutty and Master Bull.
J9: Well Dash, I think they heard you.
Max starts “Welcome
fans of HCW to the final day of or 3 day PPV extravaganza – Critical Mass. I can tell you a lot of the feuds coming into
this weekend were at a critical point and some have resolved and some, I’m
sure, will continue.” Master Bull speaks
up. “After tonight, we get to take some
well-deserved time off as we reset and relax.
However, when we do return, for one week only, our show will take place
on a Monday instead of Wednesday.” Max
continues “May 4, 2020 will mark the 4 year anniversary of HCW so that night,
we will be hosting a supershow of sorts.
More to come.” Bull finishes
with “Surprises will be in store for more than just wrestlers (he looks
DIRECTLY at Dash Woodbrick) and we’ll have to wait and see what happens
then. For now, let’s get this show on
the road.” The fans pop and Max and Bull
make their way to the back.
J9: DAMN, I think Master Bull has something up
his sleeve as far as you’re concerned.
Dash: Yeah, maybe he’ll promote me for the awesome
talent I am.
J9: Dash, keep dreaming.
We cut to a
pre-taped promo from Texas Wildfire. “Bounty
Hunter…you’re on someone’s payroll and they, whoever they are, are paying you
to take me out. Understand this…I am not
that easy and I won’t go down without a fight.
After tonight, you’ll be leaving empty handed as there will be no bounty
secured tonight.”
Pyro goes off and
our first match is ready to get underway.
First, the music plays and out comes the Bounty Hunter Jake
Montrose. He is booed as he makes his
way to the ring. He cares nothing for
the fans; just someone paying him his bounty.
Tonight, he intends to collect in full.
Once in the ring, the music changes and the fans are up and out of their
seats giving Texas Wildfire a huge reception.
Wildfire makes his way to the ring and high-fives some of the fans. He gets into the ring and is 100% focused. The bell rings. Montrose went toe to toe with Wildfire for
about 5 minutes until TW really kicked it into high gear. 9 minutes in, TW smashed Montrose’s head into
the turnbuckle and quickly tried for a pin but only got a one count. At the 11 minute mark, Montrose (wearing a
headband) slipped something into it and hit Wildfire with a loaded headbutt
drop. He made a sloppy cover and TW was
able to kick out at 1. A few minutes
later, TW smashed Montrose’s head into the turnbuckle again and went for a pin
but Jake kicked out. Wildfire picked him
up and set him up on the top turnbuckle.
TW then climbed up and picked up the Bounty Hunter delivering a
thunderous superplex. Wildfire goes for
the pin and gets the easy 1-2-3. The
fans pop huge as TW gets his arm raised in victory. The Bounty Hunter leaves the ring and sulks
to the back. However with this victory,
we still don’t know who hired him in the first place. Wildfire grabs the mic and demands Montrose
tell him who put the bounty on him.
Montrose turned briefly but then kept walking. Frustrated, TW left. (17 min)
J9: Dash, that has to be frustrating not knowing
who put the bounty on his head.
Dash: Hey, this is professional wrestling so
anything can happen.
J9: Up next, we get to see Jack Lumber in all his
flannel glory.
Dash: This guy makes me wanna puke. In fact, that’s my new nickname for him. PUUUUUUUUUKE.
J9: Dash, you’ve pissed off our GM’s. Better watch what you say to someone who can
slap the taste out of your mouth.
Dash: Yeah, whatever.
J9: Powerful words.
Dash: She better not underestimate Maxine. I’ve heard you won’t like it when she gets
too sassy.
The loudspeakers
blare out “TIMMMMMMMMBERRRRRRRRRRRRR” and out comes the flannel wearing
lumberjack Jack Lumber. He stops by the
fan club the Lumber Lounge and they point up to the Omegatron. They
have compiled a video showing him how much they love him. All of his Lumbermaniacs are wearing ‘Choppin
Woood & Lookin Good’ shirts. Jack
feels all the more pumped up for this match.
He enters the ring and asks for a mic.
“I really want to thank you for all the support you’ve shown me during
these past few matches. It’s been really tough taking loss after loss when we
know that the Banker and Ruth aren’t abiding by the laws of the HCW. You guys
have all stuck by me and it has kept me motivated to bankrupt the banker
tonight! Tonight he’s going to finally pay his dues. I will plant enough trees
in the Banker’s pathetic memory that it will make up for all the money he’s
stolen through his cheating wins. Now enough talk! Tell him to get his A$$ to
the ring so I can finally give him the beating he’s been avoiding for months.” The fans (especially the Lumber Lounge) pop for
him. The music changes and out comes the
TV Champion the Banker with his manager Ruth Heartless. “OH MY GOD.
Can you be any more pathetic? Can
you stop with the bitching and moaning?
No one, not even these morons, wants to see or hear from you so tonight,
I’m asking Ruth to stay backstage (she looks at him quizzically) and I will
fight this one myself. I don’t need
anyone to defeat someone like you. I for
one want to shut that muzzle of yours and tonight, I make it a reality.” He hands his briefcase to Ruth who nods at
whatever he’s telling her and she hustles off to the back. The Banker gets in the ring, holds his title
in Jack’s face, hands it to the ref and then attacks Jack to start the ‘falls
count anywhere’ match.

J9: Good once again triumphs over evil.
Dash: No!
What happened is that he used an illegal object and severely bruised the
tailbone of the Banker which prevented him from kicking out. He was robbed.
J9: You are so plastic Dash. You just can’t handle seeing someone who
deserves it succeed.
Reporter Clarkus
Kentus is backstage with a news flash. Jack
Lawson is done in HCW. The damage he
took falling from the top of the cell was enough that if he wanted to walk in 5
years, he had to call it quits now. He
took his doctor’s advice.
We are ready for
our next match which will have Maxine’s Money in the Bank contract on the line. First, ‘Sassy’ Maxine DeVito comes out to
major booing from the crowd. She jaw
jacked with a few of them before making her way down to the ring. One fan actually drew a caricature of her
from when she hurt her foot. The boot in
the drawing was 3x the normal size as the fan is hinting that Maxine is
over-dramatic. She grabbed the sign and
tore it to shreds hurling the pieces back at the fans. She gets in the ring and continues the
taunting until we hear “Korbi Kong Smash” and out comes Korbi. The fans enjoyed her promo earlier and began
a ‘Ragnarok’ chant and Maxine had to cover her ears. Korbi smirked as she made her way to the
ring. She climbed in and Maxine
immediately went after her.

J9: I can’t wait for you to become a wrestler and

J9: To quote Dash Woodbrick…I know nothing.
We cut to the
Omegatron for a pre-taped promo from Wilber Townsend.
"Do you
really believe that I would burden myself with such petty, squeamish things? A
loss in a battle means nothing to me because I know that it is the war that
counts. War... that's my game, man. I created war. It wasn't so long ago that
my Family entered a HCW ring for the very first time. And in our short reign of
terror we have dismantled giants, we have destroyed monsters, and most
importantly of all we have brought so called heros to their knees and I ask you
right now, Phat Sol, just who in the hell is it you really think you're dealing
with, man? I am Wilber Townsend, the Eater of Worlds, and I am every bit the
monster that they all think I am. You will find Phat, that you cannot measure
me like you measure a normal man. You cannot measure me by how much dollar
bills I have in my pocket because society is my play thing. You cannot measure
me by the days of the year because time is irrelevant to me. I live 100 years a
day, man. There's been something ever since our last encounter. It's been
recurring over and over in my head and I can't shake it. It's something that my
sister Abigail used to say to me. She used to say, 'Be careful going out and
chasing vengeance Wilber. Because if you do, you'll need to dig two graves: one
for your enemy, and one for yourself.' But unfortunately for you, Phat Sol, I
am forever."
J9: Man, that guy gives me the creeps.
Dash: He’s just misunderstood.
J9: Yeah….sure.
Our next match
begins and even though it wasn’t planned, Phat is now the Anytime/Anywhere
Champion and that makes his match now a title match. First, the lights go dim and a single lantern
lights up the stage. Wilber comes out
wearing his creepy Pennywise-like mask.
He makes his way to the ring and enters.
He does not remove the mask. The
lights come up and the music changes and out comes the AA champion Phat
Sol. He gets a nice pop from the crowd
and he makes his way down to the ring.
Just as he was entering the ring, Wilber went after him but Phat ended
up throwing him over the top rope to the floor.
Dash: What the HELL? He was just trying to welcome him to the
ring.
J9: Give me a break Dash. He was clearly trying to attack him.
Dash: You really need your glasses fixed.
Wilber played mind
games with Phat for the first 10 minutes of the match but then Phat Sol really
turned up the heat and gave Wilber just as good as he got. Things began to look bleak when Wilber hit
the GTS but a delay in going for the pin
saved Phat and his newly acquired title.
At the 22 minute mark, Wilber set up for the Go To Sleep again but Phat
somehow reversed it and hit the Phat’s Enough.
He immediately went for the pin and got the 3 count. Phat Sol gets the win and retains his
title. He celebrates with the fans as
Wilber makes his way to the back. He
looks back at Phat twice with a sinister look crossing his face before he
disappeared behind the curtain. Phat
left shortly thereafter. (22 min)
J9: The Phat Man wins again.
Dash: Go back to school and learn how to spell
punk.
J9: Give it a rest Dash.
We cut to the back
where we are with Larry Morton and the King and World Champion the Wicked
Prophet. Prophet is wearing an odd
looking body suit.
“I am glad I
didn’t have to play that weak video game. Why should that count toward any
wrestlers W/L record? Is there Virtual Belt at stake? Under my leadership the
HCW would never have to resort to these types of shenanigans, even in emergency
situations.
I also have some
last words for Killa Plops, I will be in the ring ready to bring
everything I have against you. Now is your chance to back out of this match. It
won’t be a fight, I will dominate the entire time and plague you with
humiliation. You’ll wish you never entered HCW, and that you never lusted after
my title. You are not worthy.”
It’s time for our
main event.
J9: Well, Dash,
your best buddy is up next.
Dash: Show some respect. He is THE World Champion and also the KING of
this rat hole.
Killa Pops comes
out first to a nice pop from the crowd.
He is with his Six Man Tag Team partners Maximillian Redbeard and
Superquake Ferguson. He hands them his
title and goes down to the ring.
Redbeard and Ferguson head backstage.
After a brief
hiatus, regal music plays and out comes the World Champion and King the Wicked
Prophet. He is carried to the ring on
his throne by ‘underlings’. He mockingly
waves at the crowd and once at the ring, he is set up next to the ring and
enters. He sneers at Pops and stands in
the center of the ring wearing his cape and crown and holds the World title
high over his head. The ref comes over
and tries to take it and his lordship almost belts the ref. Eventually he hands it over and our match is
ready to go.
