Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. Tonight, we are back in somewhat familiar territory. When HCW was located up in the Pacific Northwest, we ran a show called ‘Tacoma Thunder’. Tonight, we are back in our old stomping grounds in a sold-out arena.
The action is heating up, and tonight promises to be another unforgettable chapter in HCW history! General Manager Max McGillicutty has teased a major announcement set to drop at the end of the show, so be sure to stick around!
On tap tonight: ‘Truth’ Williams welcomes a special guest on The Truth Hurts, and you can bet he’ll stir the pot like only he can.
Lou Albano III steps into the ring with the dangerous Hell’s Fang – The Morningstar in a battle that promises to get brutal. Meanwhile, family ties will be tested as estranged brothers Owen and Thaddeus Zestwell finally meet one on one to try to settle their differences inside the squared circle.
Tag team warfare takes center stage when The Million Dollar Alliance (Evan Stockwell & Sterling Silverman) collide with The Sons of Anarchy (Son of Drew & Son of Stache) to determine the #1 contenders for the Heritage Tag Team Titles. And speaking of chaos, The Snake Pit is set for action—but with the Dark Dominion lurking in the shadows, you can expect things to get unpredictable fast.
Korbi Kong and Talia Nocturne will take on the team of Phoenix Blaze and Starla Nova. With Count Vlad in their corner, you never know what will happen.
Then, in our huge main event, newly crowned Hardcore Champion Outback Oscar defends his title against the man he first won it from—Mr. X! X seemed reluctant to chase the title when The Yeti held it, but now that Oscar has reclaimed it, all bets are off. With hardcore rules in play, this one is guaranteed to be a war.
Buckle up, HCW faithful—it’s time for another night of mayhem!
Pyro goes off and as the spotlights zip around the arena, the Omegatron lights up. The fans boo as the graphic loads.
The Truth Hurts with ‘Truth’ Williams
[Scene: The set of "The Truth Hurts" resembles the grand den of a mansion, with rich wood paneling, plush leather chairs, and a roaring fireplace. Mr. X sits opposite Truth Wayne, who exudes confidence and charisma. The atmosphere is initially relaxed, with soft lighting and a cozy ambiance.]
Truth Williams: “Welcome to The Truth Hurts! The only show in HCW where you get real talk, not that sugar-coated nonsense these people wanna hear. And tonight, I’ve got a real wrestler joining me—a man who doesn’t pander, doesn’t dance around like a fool, and sure as hell doesn’t waste his time with bush-league nobodies.”
The audience boos as Truth smirks.
Truth Williams: “Ladies and gentlemen… the next Hardcore Champion… Mr. X!”
Dark, ominous music plays as Mr. X marches onto the stage, his trench coat flowing as he confidently strides in. He ignores the crowd’s reaction and takes a seat across from Truth.
Truth Williams: “Mr. X, let’s get straight to it. Tonight, you’re stepping into the ring for the Hardcore Title against Outback Oscar. But let’s be honest, does anyone really think that guy deserves to hold that championship?”
Mr. X: (chuckles) “Not a chance, Truth. I mean, look at him. That idiot’s running around in crocodile boots, talking about the ‘wilds of Australia’ like he just walked off a bad nature show. But tonight, he’s gonna find out that this isn’t the Outback… this is my world. And after I’m done with him, he’s gonna be known as Outhouse Elmer.”
The crowd erupts in boos while Truth Williams laughs and claps his hands together.
Truth Williams: “Oh, that’s a good one, X! Outhouse Elmer! That name fits him better than that title ever did! Because let’s be honest, that guy is nothing but waste in this business!”
Mr. X: “Exactly. He’s a joke, and I don’t take jokes lightly. See, Oscar’s been running around, swinging chairs, throwing garbage cans, acting like he’s some kind of hardcore legend. But what happens when I take those weapons away? When he’s left with nothing but his fists? I’ll tell you what happens—he loses. And tonight, I don’t just beat him… I humiliate him.”
The crowd starts a loud “OSCAR! OSCAR!” chant, trying to rally behind the Hardcore Champion.
Truth Williams: (mocking the chant) “Oh, listen to ‘em, Mr. X! These people actually believe in this guy! They think he’s gonna outfight you? You, a man who has wrestled all over the world, a man who knows how to pick his opponents apart! Oscar may be Hardcore Champion now, but tonight, we’re looking at the real hardcore competitor in HCW!”
Mr. X: (leaning forward) “That’s right, Truth. And after tonight, when I pry that title from his lifeless hands, these people are gonna have to face reality. The real Hardcore Champion won’t be some Outback reject. It’ll be me—Mr. X.”
Truth Williams: “And that, folks… is the truth! So Oscar, Outhouse Elmer, whatever you wanna call yourself—tonight, your title reign goes down the drain! Because Mr. X is gonna walk into that ring, tear you apart, and when it’s all over, when you’re lying there in a puddle of your own regrets, remember… The Truth Hurts!”
The segment ends with the crowd showering them in boos as Mr. X stands up, making the “X” symbol with his arms while Truth Williams laughs in the background.
Mike Johnny
As “The Truth Hurts” concludes, the camera shifts to ringside, where Mike "The Voice" Johnson and Johnny "The Hammer" Harris are seated at the announce desk. The crowd is buzzing from the exchange between Truth Williams and Mr. X.
Mike Johnson: “Johnny, this may be our first time here but HCW is not a stranger to Tacoma WA!”
The fans pop.
Johnny Harris: “You are right. These fans are some of the best in the world. (Pop again). Tonight, these fans are in for a treat and as we just saw, ‘Truth’ Wayne loves to stir the pot.”
Mike Johnson: "Truly! Mr. X didn’t hold back either, making it crystal clear how he feels about Outback Oscar heading into tonight’s Hardcore Title match!"
Johnny Harris: "Yeah, Mike, but let’s be real—Mr. X has a big mouth, and sooner or later, he’s gonna have to back it up. Oscar’s the kind of guy who doesn’t take kindly to disrespect, and you know he heard every word."
Mike Johnson: "Absolutely, and knowing Oscar, he’ll be fired up and ready for a fight! That main event is shaping up to be an all-out brawl!"
Johnny Harris: "No doubt about it! And that’s just one of the huge matches we’ve got lined up tonight. We’re kicking things off with a showdown between Lou Albano III and the dangerous Hell’s Fang – The Morningstar. Let’s get to the ring!"
The camera shifts to the entrance ramp as the first match gets underway.
[Arena Lights Dim – Gothic Chants Fill the Air]
The eerie toll of a bell echoes through the arena as the lights dim to a crimson hue. A wave of boos cascades from the crowd as Count Vlad steps onto the stage, a sinister grin stretched across his face. He gestures grandly, and from the shadows emerges Hell’s Fang – The Morningstar, his imposing figure shrouded in a long, tattered black cloak. He slowly makes his way to the ring, eyes locked in an icy glare, ignoring the jeers as Vlad whispers to him, clearly feeding his dark intentions for the battle ahead.
The ominous duo reaches the ring, and as Morningstar removes his cloak, he stretches his arms wide, basking in the crowd’s hatred. Vlad claps, laughing as the boos intensify.
[Music Shift – A Classic Rock Anthem Blasts Through the Arena]
The energy flips in an instant as Lou Albano III’s music hits, and the crowd erupts! The young firebrand bursts through the curtain, pumping his fists, clearly fired up. He slaps hands with fans on his way to the ring, eyes locked on the dark presence waiting inside. Sliding under the ropes, Lou pops to his feet and throws up a confident pose, drawing an even louder reaction. Morningstar doesn’t flinch, merely tilting his head as if studying his prey, while Vlad sneers at the challenger.
With the crowd solidly behind him, Lou readies himself as the referee checks both men. The bell is moments away from ringing!
Match #1: Lou Albano III vs Hell’s Fang – The Morningstar w/Count Vlad
Lou starts off the match hitting the Morningstar with a backbreaker but Hell’s Fang executes a Necromancer's Delight Half Nelson Choke. Lou takes him down with a ground and pound but Vlad jumps up on the apron to antagonize the foe. Lou swats him away and nails the Morningstar with a head first body slam. Hell’s Fang then throws Lou out of the ring. Before he can re-enter the ring, Tony and Salvatore Albano come in from the crowd and beat down on Lou. Hell’s Fang and Count Vlad provided just enough of a distraction that Lou was not getting up from the attack after being hit with a spike piledriver on the floor. The Albanos took off through the crowd and the ref ended counting Lou down and out at the count of 10. The Morningstar gets the win and celebrates as Count Vlad stands nearby nodding in approval. The duo then leave to massive booing from the crowd. Tony Ricca rushes out and goes to Lou’s aid. He helps him up and helps him to the back. The fans give Lou a nice pop.
Backstage Promo – The Wicked Prophet
The camera fades in to a dimly lit backstage area, where shadows dance across the concrete walls. A single flickering light above casts an eerie glow as The Wicked Prophet steps into the frame, his signature twisted grin stretching across his face. His eyes burn with intensity, his fingers twitching as if grasping unseen forces.
The Wicked Prophet: (soft chuckle) “The time of reckoning is upon us… and the prophecy shall be fulfilled. At Critical Mass, I cash in my contract… and the Million Dollar Alliance will finally pay their debt in blood.”
His grin fades into a sneer as he glares into the camera.
The Wicked Prophet: “The Rich Athlete... You prance around like a king, draped in gold that doesn’t belong to you, living off a fortune you didn’t earn. You bathe in wealth, but you reek of fear—fear of a force you can’t buy, a storm you can’t escape. And then there’s Evan Stockwell... the so-called ‘Financial Maverick’—tell me, Evan, how much did you invest in your own soul before you sold it to protect that fraud you call a champion?”
Prophet tilts his head, a glimmer of sinister amusement in his eyes.
The Wicked Prophet: “And Ruth Heartless… oh, Ruth… you whisper in their ears, poison their minds, lead them deeper into delusion. But at Critical Mass, your lies will crumble, and your kingdom will fall beneath my hands. And when I take the HCW World Championship, you will weep for your fallen empire.”
He takes a slow breath, his lips curling into a wicked smile once more.
The Wicked Prophet: “But make no mistake… my war does not end with the Alliance. No, no, no… I have unfinished business. Jack Lumber.”
The mention of the name makes his expression darken.
The Wicked Prophet: “You stole from me. You took what was rightfully mine. And though I am a patient man, my patience is not infinite. Once I reclaim my World Title, my mission becomes crystal clear—I will not just defeat you, Jack… I will end you. I will carve your name into the obituary of this business, and your legacy will be nothing more than a ghost story told in hushed whispers. Also, you can see he didn’t have the BALLS to show up here. Shows what he TRULY thinks of this town.”
He extends his arms, looking upward, as if embracing the darkness around him.
The Wicked Prophet: “And let it be known… let it be celebrated… that should the Dark Dominion seek to interfere, to cloud my path with chaos and madness… I welcome it. Let the storm rage, let the shadows creep closer, let the night fall upon us all… for the deeper we descend into the abyss… the more powerful I become.”
Prophet lowers his gaze back to the camera, his eyes locked in a chilling stare.
The Wicked Prophet: “At Critical Mass, I don’t just take back my World Championship. I usher in a new age… and for those who stand in my way? Your suffering… will be legendary.”
With a final unsettling chuckle, Prophet steps back into the darkness, leaving only the flickering light and an overwhelming sense of impending doom.
Match #2: Owen Zestwell vs Thaddeus Zestwell
The arena darkens slightly as the opening chords of Thaddeus "Trouble" Zestwell’s theme hit, and instantly, a tidal wave of boos washes over the arena. The smug, arrogant younger Zestwell steps onto the stage, wearing a cocky smirk and a custom jacket emblazoned with the word "TROUBLE" in bold letters. He saunters down the ramp, basking in the hostility, but instead of brushing it off, he embraces it. He shouts back at the fans, flipping them off with both hands, then pointing and laughing at particularly angry members of the crowd.
Mike Johnson: "Oh, come on! Thaddeus Zestwell soaking in the jeers like he thrives on it!"
Johnny Harris: "He does thrive on it, Mike! The man calls himself ‘Trouble’ for a reason—he loves stirring the pot, and tonight’s no different!"
Thaddeus slides into the ring, snatches a mic from the timekeeper, and paces back and forth, his expression shifting from amusement to pure disdain.
Thaddeus Zestwell: "Ohhh, would you look at this pathetic excuse for a crowd?!" (More boos follow, but he simply grins and shakes his head.) "But you know what’s even more pathetic? My brother."
The crowd starts chanting "Owen! Owen! Owen!" but Thaddeus just rolls his eyes.
Thaddeus Zestwell: "Oh please, chant all you want. That coward Owen? He’s got no backbone! No killer instinct! He’s nothing but an overrated, soft little—"
[Cue Owen "Orange Fury" Zestwell’s Music – Crowd ERUPTS!]
Thaddeus' face drops just a little as the Orange Fury himself storms through the curtain, no posing, no showboating—just pure, unfiltered rage. Owen sprints to the ring, eyes locked on his brother like a predator locked on prey!
Mike Johnson: "Here we go! Owen Zestwell is DONE listening to his brother’s mouth!"
Johnny Harris: "That man is coming down with one thing in mind—payback!"
Thaddeus, suddenly not as eager to talk, immediately drops the mic and slides out of the ring as Owen rushes inside. The older Zestwell brother paces furiously, motioning for Thaddeus to get back inside, but Thaddeus just shakes his head and smirks. He taps his temple, mouthing ‘I’m too smart for you’ before turning to mockingly high-five a fan—only to yank his hand away and laugh.
Mike Johnson: "Oh, give me a break! He’s proud of ducking his brother?!"
Johnny Harris: "That’s classic Thaddeus! He’s playing mind games, and right now, it’s working!"
But Owen has had enough. Without hesitation, he slides out of the ring and takes off after Thaddeus! The crowd explodes as Thaddeus’ cocky smirk vanishes—he bolts around the ring, trying to stay ahead of his brother!
Thaddeus makes a break for the ring and rolls in quickly. Owen slides in right after—but WHAM! Thaddeus is waiting and immediately begins stomping down on Owen as soon as he enters!
Mike Johnson: "Oh, come on! That was a setup all along!"
Johnny Harris: "See, I told you, Mike! Thaddeus is a step ahead! That’s exactly what he wanted!"
Owen fights through the stomps, pushing to his feet, and as soon as he does—BAM! He and Thaddeus start throwing haymakers at each other! The referee, who had been waiting to call for the bell, immediately backs away as the two brothers turn the ring into an all-out street fight!
Fists are flying, and neither man is letting up!
Mike Johnson: "The match hasn’t even started! This isn’t a wrestling match—this is a straight-up brawl!"
Johnny Harris: "Did you really think these two were going to wrestle a nice, clean match?! This was never about wins and losses—this is deep, Mike!"
The referee tries to step in, but Owen shoves him away, while Thaddeus keeps swinging wildly. With no way to restore order, the official has no choice but to call for the bell and throw the match out!
[DING DING DING!]
The crowd boos loudly as the fight rages on! Security rushes down to the ring, but neither brother is backing off, pushing past the officials and trying to get at each other!
Mike Johnson: "This is far from over! These two brothers are gonna tear each other apart before this is settled!"
Johnny Harris: "And you know what? I think that’s exactly what Thaddeus wants! This isn’t the end—this is just the beginning!"
Officials finally manage to separate the brothers, but the look in both men’s eyes says it all—this war is just getting started.
Backstage Interview – Larry Morton with Outback Oscar
Backstage, Larry Morton stands in front of the HCW interview set, microphone in hand, as the crowd cheers in anticipation. Outback Oscar steps into the frame, his signature hat tilted slightly, a determined fire in his eyes. The Hardcore Championship is slung over his shoulder, and the fans in the arena let out a loud “OSCAR! OSCAR!” chant as he grins at the reaction.
Larry Morton: “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with the reigning HCW Hardcore Champion, Outback Oscar! And Oscar, earlier tonight on The Truth Hurts, both Truth Williams and Mr. X had quite a lot to say about you… including calling you—”
Outback Oscar: (interrupting with a smirk) “—Outhouse Elmer, yeah, I heard ‘em, mate. Real clever, ain’t it? Took the two of ‘em puttin’ their heads together to come up with that one. Guess that’s what happens when ya spend too much time sniffin’ your own stink—ya start thinkin’ ya smell like roses.”
The crowd pops as Oscar shifts the title on his shoulder.
Outback Oscar: “Mr. X, you talk a big game. Sayin’ I’m a joke, sayin’ I ain’t hardcore enough, sayin’ that once ya take my weapons away, I got nothin’? Well, mate, let me remind ya of somethin’—I didn’t win this title ‘cause I had the best chair shots or the sharpest barbed wire bat. I won it ‘cause I’m tougher than a croc’s hide and twice as mean when ya push me. Ya can take away every steel pipe, every table, every trash can… but ya can’t take away these!”
Oscar holds up his fists, cracking his knuckles, as the crowd roars.
Outback Oscar: “And X, I dare ya to step in that ring and try to ‘humiliate’ me. Cause where I come from, mate, we got a sayin’—ya mess with the croc, ya get the death roll. And tonight, I’m rolling right over ya, and when it’s all said and done, you’re gonna be the one takin’ a trip to the outhouse. Remember, I beat you once to win this title; tonight I beat you again to retain.”
Oscar adjusts his hat and slaps the Hardcore Title for emphasis.
Larry Morton: “Strong words from the Hardcore Champion! Folks, the title is on the line next! Outback Oscar defends against Mr. X in what promises to be a brutal encounter!”
Oscar gives one last nod to the camera before heading toward the ring as the fans erupt in cheers.
Match #3: Million Dollar Alliance vs the Sons of Anarchy for a shot at the Heritage TT titles at the PPV
Stockwell started the match by using his technical skills to ground Son of Drew, locking in a tight wristlock before transitioning into a Million Dollar Drop toe hold. But Drew fought back, using his speed to counter into a flying forearm and tagging in Son of Stache.
Stache came in like a house of fire, leveling Silverman with a lariat before hitting a devastating power slam. Silverman, ever the opportunist, raked the eyes and tagged in Stockwell, who planted Stache with a textbook vertical suplex.
The Alliance isolated Stache, using quick tags and double-team maneuvers, including the Hostile Takeover combination slam. But Stache, fueled by the fans' energy, broke free and nailed a massive Rodeo Roundhouse on Silverman before making the hot tag to Son of Drew!
Drew exploded into the ring, taking out both Stockwell and Silverman with high-impact offense—springboard dropkick, corkscrew pescado, and a beautiful tornado DDT! The crowd was electric as the Sons of Anarchy took full control.
Just when it looked like the Sons had it won, Ruth Heartless climbed onto the apron, distracting the referee. This allowed Stockwell to deliver a low blow to Drew and set up for the Stock Market Crash Piledriver!
But before he could execute it, Stache intercepted with a running Stetson Slam!
With the crowd roaring, Son of Stache grabbed Silverman and hoisted him up, delivering a vicious, emphatic Tombstone Piledriver!
1… 2… 3!
Johnny Harris: "THAT'S IT! SON OF STACHE JUST DROPPED SILVERMAN RIGHT ON HIS HEAD!"
Mike Johnson: "The Sons of Anarchy just took down the Million Dollar Alliance, and they did it in dominant fashion!"
Ruth Heartless: [Screaming at Slow-Count Sam] "That count was SLOWER than a government bailout!"
Johnny Harris: "Cry all you want, Ruth, but the Sons of Anarchy just rode into town and left the Million Dollar Alliance in the dust!"
As the Sons of Anarchy celebrated, the Million Dollar Alliance retreated, seething from the loss.
WINNERS: THE SONS OF ANARCHY (Son of Stache pinned Silverman with a Tombstone Piledriver)
After the match, the Sons of Anarchy—typically a force to be reckoned with—were ambushed by the Fangs of Despair in a vicious post-match attack.
Dr. Red Fang and Nightfang launched a brutal assault, taking advantage of the Sons' weakened state. The Fangs unleashed everything in their arsenal, leaving the Sons of Anarchy bloodied and battered in the ring. It wasn’t long before the ring attendants rushed in to assist, helping the fallen warriors to the back, but not without leaving a trail of crimson across the canvas. The Fangs of Despair sent a chilling message to all in HCW: no one is safe when they’re around.
Backstage, the camera cuts to the Magnificent One, Juan Raul Fargo, standing in front of a luxurious backdrop, his trademark arrogance oozing from every word as he begins to speak.
Juan Raul Fargo: (Grinning arrogantly) "You know, it’s funny how things work out, isn't it? Once upon a time, we were a team—unstoppable. We were like two sides of the same coin. But now, now... things have changed. My former partner, the man now calling himself Cara Loco, has somehow found himself in possession of the TV Title. (Shakes his head) But make no mistake, that title? It’s not safe with him. It never was. And it never will be."
He takes a step forward, the intensity building in his voice.
Juan Raul Fargo: You see, Cara Loco, we used to have a mutual respect, but you’ve forgotten something vital. You’ve forgotten that the Magnificent One always gets what he deserves. And right now? That TV Title? It's mine by birthright. I don’t care what kind of identity crisis you've been going through, whether you’re a 'madman' or whatever other nonsense you’re calling yourself now. You and I both know that I’m the true talent in this equation."
His eyes narrow, a smirk playing on his lips.
Juan Raul Fargo: "So, Cara, enjoy your time holding onto that belt, because it won’t last. Not when I come for it. At Critical Mass, there’s no escaping me. You can run, you can hide, but when that bell rings? I’ll be standing there with my hand raised, that title around my waist, and you’ll be left with nothing but regret. Just like the rest of the world."
He pauses for a moment, staring coldly into the camera.
Juan Raul Fargo: "You’ve been warned, my old friend. At Critical Mass, I am coming for that title. And there’s nothing you can do to stop it."
Fargo turns and walks off, his confidence unwavering, as the camera lingers for a moment on the empty space he just left behind.
Back at the ring:
The arena lights flicker ominously, signaling the arrival of the Dark Dominion. The haunting theme song reverberates through the air as Korbi 'Viperfang' Kong steps out with Talia Nocturne and Count Vlad. The Tacoma crowd erupts into a deafening chorus of boos, their hatred evident. As Korbi reaches the ring, the hostility grows louder—chants of "YOU SUCK!" and "TRAITOR!" shake the arena.
With an air of confidence, Korbi raises the microphone, ready to address her hometown crowd. The boos swell like a tidal wave, drowning out her first attempt.
Korbi Kong (barely audible): "I just... want to—"
The crowd cuts her off with thunderous chants of "SHUT UP!" Korbi’s jaw tightens, her grip on the microphone white-knuckled. She raises the mic again, trying to push through the crowd’s hostility.
Korbi Kong (frustrated): "You people don’t even—"
The boos become even louder, completely obliterating her words. Korbi’s eyes narrow in frustration as she paces the ring, glaring at the jeering fans. Count Vlad watches her, his expression unreadable, while Talia smirks at the chaos.
Korbi raises the mic a third time, her voice strained and laced with venom.
Korbi Kong (voice cracking): "You’ll all regret—"
She doesn’t get the chance to finish. The boos erupt into a deafening crescendo, shaking the arena. Korbi’s face contorts with rage as she throws the microphone to the mat. She turns her back on the crowd, motioning for the match to begin, her frustration spilling over in her tense movements.
Count Vlad chuckles darkly, clearly amused by the crowd’s vitriol. Talia Nocturne shakes her head, her smirk never fading. The arena remains a cacophony of jeers, the Dark Dominion relishing the hostility as the tension reaches its boiling point.
Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: "I mean, come on, Mike! This is her hometown! These are supposed to be her people—and yet, listen to this crowd! They absolutely despise Korbi Kong!"
Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: "Despise might be putting it lightly, Johnny. The boos are so loud I’m not even sure she can hear herself think! I don’t think I’ve ever seen this level of disdain from a hometown crowd. It’s brutal!"
Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: "It just goes to show you, Mike—when you turn your back on the fans, the fans never forget. And judging by this reaction, they’re not forgiving Korbi Kong any time soon."
Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: "She wanted their respect, Johnny. What she got instead was pure, unfiltered hatred. And I think it’s safe to say she’s feeding off it in all the wrong ways!"
Match #4: Korbi Kong and Talia Nocturne w/Count Vlad vs Phoenix Blaze and Starla Nova
VS
The bell rings, and Talia and Starla Nova begin the match, locking up in the center of the ring. Talia immediately tries to use her speed, but Starla’s strength quickly overpowers her, pushing her into the corner. Starla presses her shoulder into Talia’s midsection, driving the air out of her lungs.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "Starla is showing her raw power early, keeping Talia trapped in the corner. Talia’s going to need to find a way out of this."
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "Starla is a powerhouse, Mike, but Talia’s quick and agile. She’ll need to use that to her advantage."
Talia tries to slip away but is grabbed by the arm and whipped into the opposite corner. Starla charges in, looking for a big splash, but Talia sidesteps, sending Starla crashing into the turnbuckle. Talia quickly tags in Korbi, who rushes in with a flying forearm to the back of Starla’s head, knocking her down. Korbi pulls Starla up by the hair and whips her into the ropes. As Starla rebounds, Korbi ducks under a clothesline attempt, bouncing off the ropes and hitting a dropkick that sends Starla stumbling into her corner. Phoenix Blaze reaches out for the tag, and Starla desperately lunges forward, tagging Phoenix in.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "And here comes Phoenix! She’s quick, and she’s ready to turn the tide for her team."
Phoenix charges into the ring, immediately catching Korbi with a spinning kick to the midsection. She follows up with a snap suplex, sending Korbi crashing to the mat. Phoenix doesn’t waste any time, quickly going for a cover.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "Phoenix is in control now, but it’s a quick pin attempt. ONE—Korbi kicks out before the count of two!"
Count Vlad: "A foolish mistake by Phoenix. She should be focusing on the wear and tear, not on the pins."
Phoenix picks Korbi up, but Korbi fights back with a series of sharp elbows to the face. She whips Phoenix into the ropes, and on the rebound, Phoenix goes for a flying crossbody—but Korbi catches her! She stumbles slightly but powers through, hitting a belly-to-belly suplex.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "What a display of strength from Korbi! Phoenix thought she had the upper hand, but Korbi turned it around just like that!"
Korbi goes for the cover, but Phoenix kicks out at two. Talia, eager to help, reaches out for a tag, and Korbi obliges, tagging her partner back in. Talia immediately ascends to the top rope, looking for a high-risk maneuver. She waits for Phoenix to rise, then dives off with a missile dropkick that hits Phoenix square in the chest. Talia covers again.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "Talia with a beautiful missile dropkick from the top! She’s going for the win—ONE, TWO—Phoenix kicks out just in time!"
Count Vlad: "They’re only delaying the inevitable. The Dark Dominion’s strategy is unmatched."
Talia looks frustrated but continues her relentless assault, pulling Phoenix into the center of the ring. She signals to Korbi, who pulls Starla off the apron, keeping her from interfering. Talia picks up Phoenix, setting her up for the Nightmare Rush knee strike, but Phoenix counters with a jawbreaker!
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "What a counter! Phoenix just rocked Talia’s world with that jawbreaker! She might have a chance to tag Starla in!"
Phoenix crawls toward her corner, reaching for the tag, and just as she’s about to make it, Talia grabs her leg, pulling her back to the center of the ring. Korbi, still on the outside, yells at Talia to finish it. Phoenix manages to kick Talia off, and this time she makes the tag to Starla! The powerhouse charges into the ring, immediately leveling Talia with a clothesline, followed by a second one for Korbi as she tries to intervene. Starla lifts Talia into the air for a spinebuster, but Talia slides out, landing behind Starla.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "Starla’s on a roll, Mike! But here’s Talia—OH! A beautiful escape and a tag to Korbi!"
Korbi rushes back into the ring, and together with Talia, they double-team Starla, hitting a devastating double suplex. Korbi hooks the leg for the pin.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "Korbi goes for the cover—ONE, TWO—NO! Starla kicks out at the last second!"
Talia quickly pulls Starla into the center of the ring, while Korbi runs the ropes and hits a diving elbow drop across Starla’s chest. Talia locks in a submission hold, trapping Starla in the center of the ring.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "What a combination of offense from Talia and Korbi! Starla’s in trouble now!"
Starla fights through the pain, but Talia tightens the hold. Phoenix rushes in, but Count Vlad reaches into the ring, grabbing her foot to stop her from making the save. Vlad hits her with a Transylvania Spike and she goes down for the count. Korbi makes the cover.”
1…2…3!
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "It’s over! Talia and Korbi win all thanks to Count Vlad’s interference!"
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "What a dominant performance from these two, Mike. They worked together so well tonight."
But just as the bell rings, Count Vlad smirks and stands up, moving toward the ring. As Phoenix helps Starla to her feet, Vlad sneaks up behind her and grabs Phoenix by the shoulder. Without warning, he delivers a Transylvania Spike to Phoenix Blaze, dropping her to the mat with a sickening thud. He then delivers one to Starla Nova too.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "What was that?! Count Vlad just hit Phoenix Blaze and Starla Nova with the Transylvania Spike! That was uncalled for!"
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "Vlad's just making sure his team seals the victory, Mike! You’ve got to respect that level of control and strategy."
Count Vlad (grinning darkly): "Victory? No. It’s about making sure you understand who holds the power. It’s about dominance... and the cost of it."
As the Dark Dominion made their way up the ramp, the boos from the crowd echoed throughout the arena, their disdain palpable. Korbi, at the front of the group, paused at the top of the stage. She turned around slowly, a smirk curling on her lips as she locked eyes with the jeering fans. Without a second thought, she raised both hands and flipped them off, her defiance radiating. The crowd erupted into even louder boos, but Korbi simply reveled in the hate, her eyes glinting with amusement. She turned with a final swagger and walked backstage, leaving a trail of furious fans behind her.
Our next match is some 6 Man Tag team action with the Snake Pit taking on the Muscles Trio.
Match #5: Snake Pit vs The Muscles Trio
Tobias Niven Leiton
McGuire Weasley Thorpe
The Muscles made their way out first, wearing their signature rainbow-colored bull horns and carrying their boxes of Booty-O’s cereal, their goofy smiles lighting up the arena. They tossed cereal into the crowd, shaking hands with fans and engaging in their usual antics. The atmosphere was filled with energy as they made their way down the ramp, continuing to toss cereal and revel in the fanfare.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: “Look at this, Johnny! The Muscles bringing their usual fun, and I’ve got to say, the crowd is absolutely loving it!”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: “That’s right, Mike! Nothing gets the crowd going like a big box of Booty-O’s and a little goofy energy! These guys are like a party in human form!”
Once inside the ring, they continue their antics, hyping up the fans and causing a ruckus with their cereal-filled shenanigans. The fun quickly comes to an end, however, when the music of The Snake Pit hits.
The arena darkens as the members of the Snake Pit—Leiton Snake, Tobias Snake, and Niven Snake—emerge from the back. The fans erupt into boos, and the trio stands on stage, arms crossed and defiant, exchanging a fist bump as they prepare to make their way to the ring.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: “And here come the Snake Pit, Johnny. The mood shifts quickly from fun to tension, as these guys are far from the friendly faces we just saw.”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: “Oh, you’re not kidding, Mike. The Snake Pit isn’t here to entertain; they’re here to dominate, and the crowd is letting them hear it!”
But just as the Snake Pit begins their slow march down the ramp, the camera zooms in on the crowd, catching a suspicious figure lurking in the audience. The fans in the arena murmur, unsure of who it is, and the camera zooms in closer to reveal
Grinch Heyman from NPCW.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: “Hold on a second! What’s this? Who is that sneaky figure in the crowd?”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: “That’s Grinch Heyman, Mike! We’ve seen him in NPCW (North Pole Championship Wrestling), and now he’s here in HCW! What’s he up to?”
The camera zooms in on Heyman, who’s wearing a smirk on his face as he watches the action unfold, clearly up to no good. He stays in the shadows, blending in with the crowd but making sure his presence is known.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: “Grinch Heyman, right in the middle of all this action! What does this mean for tonight? What’s he doing here? And why now?”
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: “You’ve got to wonder, Mike. Is he just here to cause trouble, or is he part of some bigger plan? Either way, things just got a whole lot more interesting!”
As Heyman watches the Snake Pit make their way to the ring, the fans continue to voice their displeasure, but all eyes are now on the unexpected newcomer.
In this epic tag team showdown, The Muscles Trio, consisting of Muscles McGuire, Muscles Weasley, and Muscles Thorpe, faced off against the high-flying, precision-driven Snake Pit: Leiton Snake, Tobias Snake, and Niven Snake. The tension was palpable as both teams came to the ring, eager to prove who was the dominant force in HCW’s tag team division.
The bell rang, and the action was fast and furious from the start. The Muscles Trio, known for their powerhouse style, began the match with a strong showing, using their raw strength to dominate the Snake Pit in the opening minutes. Muscles McGuire and Muscles Thorpe laid out Tobias Snake with a double suplex that shook the ring, while Muscles Weasley kept Niven Snake grounded with a series of hard-hitting body slams.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "What a physical display we’re seeing from both teams! The Muscles Trio is certainly bringing the power, but the Snake Pit? They're using their speed and precision like a well-oiled machine!"
However, the Snake Pit quickly adapted. Leiton Snake and Tobias Snake took control, using their agility and quickness to outmaneuver their larger opponents. A series of tag team maneuvers—highlighted by Tobias Snake’s diving somersault neckbreaker—shifted the momentum in their favor. Muscles McGuire was sent crashing to the mat with a picture-perfect enzuigiri from Niven Snake, and Leiton Snake nailed a flying crossbody on Muscles Weasley that left the audience on their feet.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "That’s right, Mike! The Snake Pit’s teamwork is on point! Leiton Snake with that diving somersault neckbreaker—he's making it look easy. These guys know how to get it done when it counts!"
The Muscles Trio, not to be outdone, fought back with a vengeance. Muscles McGuire launched Tobias Snake with a powerful military press slam, while Muscles Thorpe executed a devastating powerslam on Niven Snake. The ring was shaking from the intensity of the action, and both teams showed no signs of slowing down.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "These two teams are leaving it all in the ring tonight, Mike. You can feel the intensity—it’s like a battle for supremacy!"
But just when the Muscles Trio seemed on the verge of victory, the bell rang bringing this one to a time limit draw but then disaster struck. The lights suddenly flickered. Before anyone could react, the entire Dark Dominion, led by Count Vlad, stormed the ring!
The Fangs of Despair—Dr. Red Fang and Nightfang—distracted the referee, allowing the rest of the Dark Dominion members to swarm the ring. Bloodfang and Shadowfang took out Muscles Thorpe, while Beastfang and Terror Fang delivered brutal strikes to Muscles Weasley. The Muscles Trio, exhausted from the grueling match, was overwhelmed by the numbers. They were then disposed of out of the ring and the Dark Dominion went after the Snake Pit.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "I... I can’t believe what we’re witnessing here! The Dark Dominion destroyed the Muscles Trio and now they are absolutely destroying the Snake Pit!"
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "This is just... chaos! The Snake Pit are trying to put up a good fight, but they’re being overrun, Mike!"
As the Dark Dominion gave slight pause, Niven rolled out of the ring and grabbed 3 steel chairs. They began beating the Dark Dominion with them, clearing the ring with vicious chair shots that sent the Dark Dominion members retreating up the ramp to the stage.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "The Snake Pit got lucky getting those chairs or this could have gotten much darker!"
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "The Dark Dominion isn’t finished, but tonight, the Snake Pit stands tall. And folks, I’ve got a feeling we’ll be seeing much more of this rivalry!"
Tobias Snake, pulled three microphones from his jacket and handed one each to Niven and Leiton. He then raised his mic, his face a picture of determination.
Tobias Snake (grabbing a mic, with a wild look in his eyes): "You hear that, Count Vlad? You wanna play games with us, huh? Well, here’s the thing—nobody messes with the Snake Pit and gets away with it. You’ve made a lot of enemies, but you’ve really pissed off the wrong ones. The Snake Pit doesn't back down, and we sure as hell don’t get intimidated by your little ‘stips.’"
He paces, his voice a mix of chaos and confidence.
Tobias Snake: "You wanna know what we want, Vlad? We want a fight. Not your typical little walk-in-the-park kind of match. We want it all. We want Anything Goes. We want to take this war to you, and when we do, it’s gonna be ugly for you, and your little Dominion.”
Leiton Snake (grabbing another mic, with his usual cocky grin, exuding confidence): "And here’s the thing, Vlad. You think you can intimidate us with your little threats? Hah, not happening. We're the Snake Pit, we don't back down—we get freakin’ louder. We’ve been through hell, and we're still here. But now? Now we want you and your flunky faction to feel what it’s like when you pick the wrong fight."
He slaps the mic into his hand.
Leiton Snake: "So, let’s make it official. You’ve got three guys to put up against us? Fine. We’ll take ‘em. And after we win? Your precious Dark Dominion? Poof. Gone. Just like that.”
Niven Snake (grabbing the third mic, standing tall, his presence commanding the ring): "Count Vlad… you’ve made a big mistake. You really think you’re gonna walk out of this on top? Not happening. What you don’t understand is that the Snake Pit? We’re a family, and we protect our own. You’ve made this personal, and you’re gonna regret it. You’re not just facing me, you’re not just facing Leiton, you’re not just facing Tobias... you’re facing the Snake Pit."
Niven pauses, letting the crowd roar.
Niven Snake: "And we’re gonna do what the Hubers couldn’t. We’re gonna rid HCW of the Dark Dominion for good. We’ll take you out one by one and leave you in the dust. Count on it."
Count Vlad: "Oh, how... predictable. The Snake Pit believes they can challenge the Dark Dominion? How deliciously foolish. You think you can step into the ring with my magnificent creations and defeat us?"
He lets out a sinister chuckle, pacing slowly across the stage as the crowd jeers.
Count Vlad: "You want an ‘Anything Goes’ match, do you? I’ll give you that... but with a little twist. If—IF—the Snake Pit somehow defeats three members of the Dark Dominion, I will grant your wish. We will disband. The tag teams... gone. The faction... erased. But..."
His grin widens as he slowly leans in toward the microphone, his voice dripping with malice.
Count Vlad: "But if you lose... and, I assure you, you will lose... the Snake Pit will be no more. You will be gone from HCW, wiped from existence. No more Niven. No more Leiton. No more Tobias. Gone, forever."
The crowd boos loudly, but Vlad stands unshaken, his eyes gleaming with a dark excitement.
Count Vlad: "Do you understand the stakes now? Good. Then prepare yourselves... for the most agonizing defeat of your lives."
Tobias Snake (laughing): "Keep talking, Vlad. Just know when we take you down, it’s gonna feel real, real good."
Leiton Snake (smirking): "You’ll never see it coming, buddy. We’ve been through worse than you could ever throw at us. This... is personal."
Niven Snake (quietly, but powerfully): "We’ll do what the Hubers couldn’t. We’ll end this. Dark Dominion, you’re finished."
As everyone eventually left, the camera goes over to where Grinch Heyman was and now, there is no one there.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "Where did Grinch Heyman go? One minute he’s here, the next, he’s gone... Something’s definitely off."
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "Yeah, talk about disappearing without a trace. This place is getting weirder by the second!"
It’s now time for our Main Event.
The camera cuts to the ring as the lights dim and the ominous sound of Mr. X’s theme music fills the arena.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "Here comes Mr. X, and as usual, the fans are letting him hear it. This guy is nothing short of despised around here."
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "Oh, look at him! He's loving every second of this. What a jerk!"
Mr. X makes his way to the ring, hands outstretched as if trying to soak in all the hatred from the fans. His smirk grows as he taunts the crowd, flipping them off and mocking their boos. He climbs into the ring with a cocky swagger, standing tall in the center of the ring, raising his arms as the boos grow even louder.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "Mr. X certainly knows how to work the crowd… by making them hate him more!"
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "That mask doesn’t hide his arrogance, Mike. He’s more confident than ever tonight. But I gotta tell ya, I don’t think the fans will ever stop hating him."
The arena lights suddenly shift, and the crowd erupts in cheers as Outback Oscar, the Hardcore Champion, makes his entrance.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "And here he comes! Outback Oscar, the Hardcore Champion, and the fans are absolutely loving it!"
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "What a contrast between these two. Oscar’s got the crowd on his side, and it’s hard not to cheer for the guy who’s a true blue Aussie battler."
Outback Oscar waves to the fans, smiling as he shakes hands with several fans along the aisle. The energy in the building skyrockets with each step he takes toward the ring. He enters and climbs the turnbuckle, raising his Hardcore Championship high above his head.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "This place is on fire for Oscar! But the question is, can he retain his Hardcore Championship tonight? Because with a guy like Mr. X, anything can happen."
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "And with Japanese Deathmatch rules? I don’t even know what to expect next!"
The Announcer steps forward in the ring, microphone in hand.
Announcer: "Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and will be contested under Japanese Deathmatch Rules!"
The crowd cheers loudly at the announcement, knowing this is going to be a brutal fight.
Announcer: "Introducing first, the challenger, from parts unknown, weighing in at 225 pounds, Mr. X!"
The camera focuses on Mr. X, who gives a mocking bow to the crowd as boos intensify.
Announcer: "And his opponent, from Sydney, Australia, weighing in at 240 pounds, he is your Hardcore Champion... Outback Oscar!"
The crowd erupts into cheers as Outback Oscar raises his title high, ready for the fight.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "Japanese Deathmatch rules mean no disqualifications, no count-outs, and you can use anything and everything to win this match. It’s going to be brutal!"
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "And with Mr. X, you know he's gonna take every shortcut he can. But Outback Oscar is no slouch, Mike. This could be a war!"
The referee checks both competitors and signals for the bell to ring. The tension in the air is palpable as both men prepare for the chaos that is about to unfold.
Match #6: The Main Event: Hardcore Title Match: Outback Oscar vs Mr X
The bell rings, and the first move comes quickly. Outback Oscar charges in with a Knee Drop, aiming to set the tone for the match. But Mr. X quickly counters with a Polynesian Piledriver, dropping Oscar right onto his neck. The crowd reacts with a mix of awe and horror as Oscar's head bounces off the mat, but he manages to kick out just in time.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "What a start! Mr. X isn’t wasting any time. He’s making it clear he came to fight, and he came to dominate!"
In the 2nd minute, Oscar attempts to fight back with a Swinging Neckbreaker, but Mr. X catches him off guard. Out of nowhere, he delivers a Matsunaga Powerbomb onto light tubes—the sound of glass shattering fills the arena as Oscar’s back slams into the jagged edges of the broken light tubes. Blood begins to trickle from Oscar’s forehead, and the fans start to gasp as they see the first signs of the carnage to come.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "OH MY GOD! Did you hear that, Mike? Glass everywhere, Oscar’s back is shredded! And look at him—he’s already bleeding!"
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "That’s the price you pay in a Japanese Deathmatch, Johnny. There’s no mercy, no escape. These men are in it to win it, even if it costs them everything!"
By the 3rd minute, Mr. X is clearly taking control, forcing Oscar into a corner and nailing him with a Martial Arts combo. Oscar stumbles back, but Mr. X grabs a steel chair, slamming it over Oscar’s head with a sickening thud. Oscar falls to the mat, barely conscious, and his blood starts to pool on the canvas.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "That chairshot is gonna leave a mark, Mike! Oscar’s getting absolutely brutalized, but he’s not staying down!"
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "He’s showing a lot of heart, but how much more can Outback Oscar take? Look at that blood—it’s pouring down his face!"
As the match continues, the punishment escalates. Oscar tries to fight back with a Full Nelson Face Smash, but Mr. X fights through the pain, blocking it and delivering a Onita Snap Flowing DDT onto a barbed wire board. Oscar screams in pain as the barbed wire tears into his flesh, further adding to the crimson tide on his body.
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "Unbelievable! Oscar’s whole back is a bloody mess now, and Mr. X doesn’t care! He’s turning this into his personal hell!"
With every passing minute, Mr. X continues to dominate. A Hawaiian Dive onto the floor outside sends Oscar crashing into a pile of thumbtacks that had been set up earlier in the match. The tacks dig into his skin, and the fans can’t believe their eyes as Oscar writhes in pain on the floor, his body now littered with tacks and blood.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "Look at this, Johnny! Oscar is covered in tacks, blood pouring out of him! And still, Mr. X keeps coming back for more!"
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "I don’t know how much more Oscar can take, Mike! Mr. X is like a machine right now, showing no mercy!"
As the match nears its climax, Oscar somehow finds the strength to fight back. He throws a Back Elbow to the Face that knocks Mr. X into the ropes, but it’s short-lived. Mr. X charges with a Turnaround Sidekick, followed by a Barefoot Kick to the face, and Oscar goes crashing through a barbwire board and is laid out once again, barely conscious.
The referee, Slow-Count Sam, starts the pin count, and despite Oscar’s efforts, he cannot kick out. The crowd is in shock as Mr. X scores the 10-count knockout victory, finally ending the bloody match.
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "This is it! Outback Oscar is down for the count, and Mr. X has just defeated him in one of the most violent, brutal matches we’ve ever seen!"
Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "What a shocking turn of events! Mr. X showed no mercy, and now he’s the Hardcore Champion! But at what cost? Oscar is barely moving, and you can see the blood and pain all over him."
Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "This was a war, Johnny, and only one man could come out on top. Mr. X might be the new Hardcore Champion, but it’s hard to forget the punishment he and Oscar both endured tonight. What a brutal night here in HCW!"
As Mr. X stands victorious, blood still staining his clothes, he raises the Hardcore Championship high above his head. The camera lingers on the fallen body of Outback Oscar, a bloody mess, as the scene fades to black.
And that brings this gruesome show to an end. Fans, we knew the level of violence was going to be through the roof but this was just something else entirely. However, instead of ending on such a brutal end, GM Max McGillicutty comes out and thanks the fans for sticking around.

He says that when they were in Tacoma, HCW shows were called “Tacoma Thunder”. Since the move to Columbia, the shows were just referred to as house or televised shows. Now, he is pleased to announce a new name for our weekly shows. He points up to the Omegatron and it lights up the room.
HCW Live Wire will be the name of our shows going forward. The fans pop huge as Max leaves the stage.
Stay tuned as there is still more to come as we continue to road to Critical Mass.
