Hello fans and welcome to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. In an effort to get caught up on the shows, the results will be abbreviated.

VICIOUS EYE RAKE - Throw Out Of Ring after 2 minutes
Apollo Gyze was eliminated by
Outback Oscar with BACK ELBOW TO FACE - Throw
Out Of Ring after 2 minutes
Maximillian Redbeard was

TNT (Templeton N. Townsend)
was eliminated by Outback Oscar with OUTBACK
STRETCH - Throw Out Of Ring after 1 minutes
Tommy Lightning was
eliminated by Outback Oscar with FULL NELSON
FACE SMASH - Throw Out Of Ring after 3 minutes
Outback Oscar was eliminated
by Azrael with SPEAR - Throw Out Of Ring after 7
minutes
The Banker was eliminated by Azrael with HURL OUT OF RING after 10 minutes
Azrael wins the Battle Royal!!!
BUT WAIT…
The Banker’s feet (only one) did not touch the ground. The ref called the match before
verifying. The Banker rolled back in but
Azrael started putting the boots to the Banker, Ruth Heartless rushed in and
BLASTED Azrael with the briefcase. The
Banker hits a DDT on to the briefcase and then throws Azrael out of the
ring. The Banker wins the match and
becomes the NEW TV Champion!!!
The
fans are up in arms in disgust. The
Ambassador comes out and says that Azrael was robbed. He demanded GM Max McGillicutty come out and
reverse the decision. Max did come out
but did not reverse the decision.
Instead, he made a match for the PPV with the Banker defending the TV
title against Azrael. The fans didn’t
seem to care either way as neither are favorites.
Next
up, we have The Snake Pit vs the Muscles Trio.
This one came about from the Pit costing the Trio a shot at the 6 Man
titles. This one went the distance and
it was thought that Thorpe was going to get the pin after hitting Leiton with
the Muscles Crush but the bell rang bringing this one to a time limit
draw. That didn’t stop the teams from
continuing to fight well after the bell rang.
The Snake Pit left the ring first but taunting from the Trio got them
riled up again. Tobias Snake issued a
challenge to the Trio for a match at the PPV.
Leiton reminded him that he (Leiton) has a title match against Dr. Red
Fang for the Hardcore title that night.
Niven Sanke assured him they would dispatch the Trio with ease and Leiton
would be able to relax in the corner.
Muscles McGuire then insulted their manhood in many different ways and
said they’d accept if the match was in a steel cage. Niven immediately accepted before he realized
what he did. Too late. The match is set.
We
head backstage where TNT mocks Biceps Bannerman for losing in the Elimination
Chamber so easily. Biceps counters that
earlier tonight, TNT was ousted from the battle royal by a submission
move. The two started to come to blows
until GM Max McGillicutty came in and made a match for the PPV.
Next
on the card are two individuals who will meet with their respective teams at
the PPV. Apollo Gyze vs Casper Wyoming. Apollo was accompanied by his tag team
partners Jake Montrose and Tommy Lightning and Casper by his team of Phantom
Frank and Dennis Marshall. This one got
out of control many times with all members getting involved at some point. At the 15 minute mark, Apollo hit Casper with
a sit out powerbomb and that brought Phantom Frank to the ring apron and that
brought Tommy Lightning. Eventually, all
6 men were in the ring and the ref ended up disqualifying both men for outside
interference. We are expecting this one
to be settled at the PPV. Afterwards,
Tommy got on the mic and said that not only will they retain their titles, he
will walk in as a dual champ when he and Derek Deveraux win the Tag Team
titles.
We
take a break in the action for our first contract signing. First, Korbi Kong comes out to a huge pop
from the crowd. Ladies Champion Violet
Valkyrie follows after. The two are
mediated by GM Max McGillicutty and both ladies sign the contract. There was not much in the way of animosity
but both did shake hands after with neither letting go. They stared at each other as we broke to
commercial.
We
come back for our next match. First,
Jesse California comes out and is booed.
Next, Brash Toothpick comes out.
The fans still are not sure what to make of him with some thinking its
Dash Woodbrick under the mask. He shakes
hands with the fans trying to get them to back him up. It was a pretty close match for the first 10
minutes but then Brash took off. At the
22 minute mark, he caught Jesse with a superkick out of nowhere and got the 3
count. After the match, he asked for a
mic. He called out Anytime/Anywhere
Champion Catalina Harper. She makes an
appearance on the stage and is accompanied by a LOT of cats. Brash says he just arrived to HCW and is
still a little green around the edges but wanted to challenge Catalina to a
match at the PPV for the title. She
accepted.
The
Omegatron lights up and announces we have our 3rd and final inductee
into this year’s HCW Hall of Fame. It is
none other than…Texas Wildfire. The fans
pop huge knowing he really deserves it but will be sad as he closes the chapter
on his HCW career.
Next
on the card is Hayley Hailstorm vs Betsy Cummings. Hayley controlled the majority of the match
until Lavender Gooms made her way out and began distracting Hayley. Lavender at one point looked like she was going
to get involved but Betsy used the distraction to hit a leaping snapmare and
rolled her up for the 3 count. She
bailed out of the ring after the cheap win.
A very riled up Hailstorm launched herself from the ring and onto
Lavender. The two brawled and rolled
back in the ring but Lavender took off.
Hayley challenged her to a Last Person standing match at the PPV. Looks like another one is locked in.
The
final segment is the World Title contract signing between Champion and King of
HCW Jack Lumber and his nemesis the Wicked Prophet. Prophet came out first followed by Jack. The two were amicable for the most part
until, after the 5th time of saying “ACKNOWLEDGE ME” to Jack’s face
that he finally lost his cool and grabbed Prophet’s head slamming it against
the table. After the incident, Jack felt
bad for setting a bad example for his fans, not for giving Prophet what he
deserved). Jack tells Prophet he will
acknowledge him if he can beat him for the belt.
With
that, the show comes to an end. The
cameras stopped rolling. Just as people
were getting ready to leave, Texas Wildfire’s music hits. The fans pop huge for him. He tells them he appreciates the years of
support they have given and knows that this is the right time for him to take
his leave. He is then interrupted by the
Ambassador and his flukies Dr. Red Fang, Azrael and Barry Morningstar. The Ambassador tells Wildfire that he’s
nothing more than smoldering embers waiting to be snuffed out. He tells Wildfire that it’s better he tucks
tail and leaves now before anyone else handed him an ass kicking he wouldn’t
recover from. The fans immediately began
chanting “ONE MORE MATCH”. Just then,
the World Tag Team Champions the Steel Curtain come out. Buzz gets on the mic and says he’d appreciate
seeing Wildfire in action one last time.
Starbuck adds that if Wildfire is up to it, they’d be honored to join
him in the ring and send the Ambassador and his cronies scattering to the 4
winds. Wildfire agrees and we have a
dark match only for the eyes of those in attendance.
