HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2025 #1074 – 2/23

Hello fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter.  We are pleased to announce that HCW shows are now “streaming” (aka linked to the blog page) on the Non-Stop Fantasy Wrestling Action (NSFWA) Network.  You can see our show and the talent from other federations by visiting (https://nsfwanetwork.blogspot.com - yes, it is safe for work).

Tonight, we will have both our Men’s and Women’s battle royals to see who wins the next open contract for a future title shot.  As a reminder, GM Max McGillicutty has stated that no singles champion will be allowed to participate.    We will also see in singles action the new behemoth Black Mass taking on Billy Robbins and the Alaskan Wildman Jax Brenner taking on the Dark Dominion’s Azrael with Count Vlad at his side.  WE will also get an introduction to Thaddeus ‘Trouble’ Zestwell – the estranged  brother to Owen ‘Orange Fury’ Zestwell and we expect an in-ring confrontation between the two as well as in-ring debut against Ghee Buttersnaps.

Let’s get a look at the ‘black sheep’ of the Zestwell family:

Thaddeus Zestwell was always the troubled member of the Zestwell family. From a young age, he had a knack for getting into trouble, earning him the nickname "Trouble" from his peers. While Owen "Orange Fury" Zestwell pursued a path of glory in the wrestling ring, Thaddeus took a darker route.

Growing up in the shadow of his brother's success, Thaddeus felt neglected and overshadowed. His resentment festered, leading him down a path of rebellion and crime. Thaddeus's actions eventually caught up with him, and he found himself entangled in a series of legal issues that nearly brought the Zestwell family to ruin. His schemes were elaborate and ruthless, involving everything from underground fight clubs to high-stakes gambling rings.

After years of estrangement, Thaddeus re-emerged with a vengeance, determined to claim his place in the wrestling world and settle the score with Owen. He adopted the persona of "Trouble," a fitting moniker for his chaotic and unpredictable nature. Thaddeus is a master manipulator, using psychological warfare to get inside his opponents' heads. His wrestling style is brutal and unorthodox, reflecting his tumultuous past.

Thaddeus's return to the wrestling scene is marked by a bitter feud with Owen. He blames Owen for the family's downfall, believing that his brother's fame and fortune came at the expense of his own happiness. Thaddeus's goal is not just to defeat Owen in the ring but to dismantle his brother's legacy piece by piece.

As their rivalry intensifies, the Zestwell brothers' feud becomes the talk of the wrestling world. Fans are captivated by the drama and intensity of their matches, each bout more personal and vicious than the last. Thaddeus "Trouble" Zestwell is a force to be reckoned with, and his vendetta against Owen promises to be one of the most explosive storylines of the year.

Let’s get right to the action!

Mystery woman is in the main audience and has a new sign.  The fans are intrigued as to who this mystery woman is and what is her connection to Black Mass?

Match #1:  Black Mass vs Billy Robbins.

Billy Robbins comes out first to a nice pop from the crowd.  He shakes hands with the fans and then gets into the ring.  The music changes and out comes Black Mass.  The towering figure walks to the ring as the fans are mixed in their reaction to him.  He climbs into the ring going over the top rope.  He wastes no time starting the match off.

From the get-go, Black Mass came out swinging, immediately grounding Robbins and hitting the MASS DESTRUCTION, setting the tone for the punishment that would follow. Robbins absorbed the attack but struggled to mount a meaningful counter. The relentless offensive continued as Black Mass executed a BLUDGEON, even securing an early pin attempt, but Robbins refused to stay down.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "Robbins showing resilience, but how much can one man take?"

The match continued and saw some spark from Robbins as he connected with a MISSILE DROPKICK, countering Black Mass's MASSTER BAITER, finally putting some offense on the board. However, it was short-lived. Black Mass regained control with a POWER BOMB OFF THE TOP ROPE, sending shockwaves through the arena and forcing another near fall.

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: "How did Robbins kick out of that?! I thought we’d be calling for the medics!"

The battle waged on with Black Mass tightening his grip. A BEARHUG nearly squeezed the life out of Robbins, who had no answer for the brute strength. Even when Robbins tried to get his own offense in, Black Mass absorbed it and fired back with crushing blows like the CRITICAL MASS and MASSTER BAITER, repeatedly bringing Robbins to the brink of defeat.

However, Robbins wasn’t done yet. In the eighth exchange, he stunned Black Mass with a SLINGSHOT SMASH, leading to his own pin attempt. But Black Mass kicked out, sending a message—he wasn’t going down that easy.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "For a moment there, I thought Robbins had a shot!"

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: "Please, Mike. That was a last gasp, nothing more."

Black Mass resumed control, systematically wearing Robbins down. Every time Robbins tried to rally, he was met with another crushing move—MASSTER BAITER, SMASH TO FACE, and a THROW OVER THE TURNBUCKLE that sent Robbins scrambling back into the ring to beat the count.

Then came the finishing sequence. A brutal CRITICAL MASS late in the match left Robbins reeling, but somehow, he kicked out yet again. Black Mass, unfazed, continued his assault. Finally, in the final exchange, he sealed the deal with another CRITICAL MASS, and this time, there was no escape.

1…2…3!

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "And that’s it! Black Mass secures the win!  Ladies and gentlemen, what a battle we just witnessed! Black Mass and Billy Robbins tore into each other from the opening bell, but in the end, only one man could walk away victorious!"

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: "And let’s be real, Mike—Black Mass dominated this match. Robbins showed heart, but that doesn’t mean much when you’re getting ragdolled around the ring by a human wrecking ball like Black Mass!"

With that, Black Mass stood tall, victorious after a punishing contest, while Robbins was left to lick his wounds. The message was clear—Black Mass wasn’t just here to win. He was here to destroy.

Backstage with 'Truth' Wayne

'Truth' Wayne: "Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Truth Wayne, and tonight… ohhh, tonight, we separate the contenders from the pretenders. The HCW Men’s and Women’s Battle Royals. Twenty people in each match, fighting for an opportunity, fighting for a chance to become somebody in this company. But let’s be real—most of them? They’re just filling space."

(Wayne lets out a dramatic sigh before continuing.)

'Truth' Wayne: "Let’s start with the women, shall we? We’ve got Goldie Locks, who’s gonna need more than luck to survive. Phoenix Blaze? A little spark that’s about to get snuffed out. And don’t even get me started on Dixie Caverns—I’m sure she’s tough on a dirt road, but this ain’t the backwoods, sweetheart."

(Wayne shakes his head, as if he's disappointed in the talent pool, then leans in with a smirk.)

'Truth' Wayne: "Now, on the men’s side? Oh, it’s even funnier. We’ve got Ghee Buttersnaps, and look, I love a good joke, but tonight ain’t open mic night. Lightning Ethan Hayes? Buddy, no matter how fast you run, eventually, reality catches up. And let’s not forget Zack ‘Commando’ Brown—I hope that camouflage makes you invisible, because once the big boys start throwing hands, you’ll wanna disappear."

(He chuckles to himself before regaining his composure, adjusting his sunglasses.)

'Truth' Wayne: "But hey, I’m not completely without hope. There are a few names worth keeping an eye on. Maybe Dr. Red Fang finally brings some of that ruthlessness to the table. Maybe Luciana Albano reminds everyone why her family name still means something. But the rest? You’re either getting dumped over the top rope or left in the dust. And that, my dear HCW… is the truth."

(Wayne flashes his signature smirk as he leans back, exuding nothing but confidence as the camera fades to black.)

We head to the ring for our next match.

Match #2:  Jax Brenner w/Molly vs Azrael w/Count Vlad

Count Vlad and Azrael come out to massive booing from the crowd.  They don’t let it faze them as they head to the ring.   Azrael jaw jacks with the crowd and Count Vlad goes to sit at commentary with Johnny and Mike.  ‘The Alaskan Wildman’ Jax Brenner and Molly Mason come out next to a huge pop from the crowd.  Jax again looks to be in a foul mood and Molly has to move quickly to stay up with him.  Jax goes over to Vlad and begins yelling at him telling him to keep his dog – the Yeti – on a leash or he’ll whip that dog silly.  Vlad smiles his evil smile and Jax enters the ring.

The match started off hot, with Jax coming out like a force of nature, nailing Azrael with the Sasquatch Stomp, nearly securing an early pin. However, Azrael, ever the cunning member of the Dark Dominion, reversed a Bigfoot Bomb, countering with a Side Headlock that slowed the Wildman’s momentum.

The two went back and forth, each landing crushing blows—Jax landed a devastating Forearm Bludgeon, but Azrael kept himself in the fight with multiple Slingshot Suplexes, wearing down the Alaskan Wildman piece by piece.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "You’ve got to give Jax Brenner credit, he’s taking it to Azrael in ways few have!"

Count Vlad: (chuckling) "Yes, he tries—but trying is not winning, is it?"

The turning point came when Azrael landed a thunderous The Darkness, shifting control firmly in his favor. Jax responded with pure brute force, slamming Azrael with a Bodyslam, but the relentless Dominion member fought through, spearing Jax so hard the ring shook.

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: "That spear from Azrael was brutal! But somehow, Brenner kicked out!"

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "Jax is still in this fight, but for how much longer?"

Both men continued to trade heavy blows, but Azrael had one last trick up his sleeve—he hurled Jax out of the ring, sending him crashing to the floor. The ref began the count, and while Jax struggled to get back inside, something—or rather, someone—caught his attention.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "Wait a minute—it's the Hardcore Champion, The Yeti!"

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: "And look at him! He’s laughing at Jax!"

Standing at the entrance ramp, The Yeti mocked Jax, making exaggerated stomping motions and mimicking Brenner’s signature taunts. Furious, Jax abandoned his fight with Azrael and charged up the ramp, the two men immediately trading blows as chaos erupted.

Referee 'Honest' Abe: "Eight! Nine! Ten!"

With Jax too preoccupied brawling with The Yeti, the referee counted him out, handing Azrael the victory.

Count Vlad: (smugly) "And that, gentlemen, is why intelligence will always defeat brute strength."

As Azrael stood victorious in the ring, Jax and The Yeti brawled into the backstage area, their feud escalating to an entirely new level.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "Folks, what a brutal contest we just witnessed! Jax Brenner and Azrael tore into each other like two wild animals fighting for dominance!

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: "And let’s not forget, we had a special guest at the table—Count Vlad, leader of the Dark Dominion. Vlad, your boy Azrael just picked up a huge win here tonight!"

Count Vlad: (smirking) "Of course he did. This was never in doubt. Jax Brenner is strong, yes, but strength alone does not win wars. My Azrael? He is a force of nature, a calculated destroyer. This was merely another step in our path of supremacy."

Azrael stood tall, another win under the Dark Dominion’s belt, as the show faded to commercial.

After we returned from commercial, we are ready for our third match of the evening.

Match #3:  Thaddeus Zestwell vs Ghee Buttersnaps

Ghee Buttersnaps is already in the ring when the music hits and out comes Thaddeus ‘Trouble’ Zestwell.  The fans boo the absolute crap out of him and he takes enjoyment in flipping them off.  He gets into the ring and immediately goes after Ghee starting the match off.

Trouble locks in a side headlock and grinds Ghee’s ears in the process.  Ghee manages to hit an elbow smash but Thaddeus hits a Jersey Driver.  Ghee manages to back bodydrop Thaddeus but gets thrown out of the ring.  Thaddeus follows him out and hurls him into the steel steps.  He then pulls up the mat around the ring and hits a hard bodyslam.  He rolls back in to the ring and ref begins his count.  The ref gets to 10 and awards the match to Thaddeus via count out.  Thaddeus takes the mic from the ref and demands a second one.  He then calls out his brother Owen.

[in ring Promo] - Thaddeus calls out Owen

The camera focuses on Thaddeus "Trouble" Zestwell, standing in the ring after his match with Ghee.  ‘Orange Fury’ Owen Zestwell comes out walking to the ring with a purpose.  Thaddeus hands him a mic and starts his rant.

Owen Zestwell

Thaddeus "Trouble" Zestwell: "Owen, you may be the 'Orange Fury,' but I'm the storm that will tear your world apart. Trouble has arrived, and there's no escaping it."

He steps closer, his voice dripping with bitterness and jealousy.

"You think you can outshine me, Owen? Think again. I'm the shadow that will eclipse your so-called legacy. The Zestwell name belongs to me."

Owen tries to speak but it turns out his mic was shut off so he throws it on the mat and continues to stare daggers at his ‘brother’.

"For years, I watched you bask in the spotlight while I was left in the dark. Now, it's my turn to step into the ring and show the world who the real Zestwell is."

He clenches his fists, his voice filled with contempt.

"You call yourself a champion, Owen? You're nothing but a fraud. I'm here to expose you and take everything you hold dear."

The intensity in his eyes grows as he speaks of his determination.

"The family may have forgotten me, but the fans will never forget the chaos I bring. Get ready, Owen, because Trouble is here to stay."

He smirks, his voice filled with menace.

"You think you know pain, Owen? You haven't seen anything yet. I'm going to make you regret every moment you spent in that ring."

Thaddeus takes a deep breath, his tone becoming more resolute.

"This isn't just a feud, Owen. This is a reckoning. I'm here to settle the score and reclaim what's rightfully mine."

He leans in closer to the camera, his voice lowering to a deadly whisper.

"You may have the fans fooled, but I see right through you. The Zestwell name will be synonymous with destruction, and it starts with you."

Owen has had enough.  He attacks Thaddeus and the two brawl.  The rest of the participants in the Men’s Battle Royal all rush out to the ring as it seems this one is underway.

Match #4:  The Main Event for the World Ladies Title:  Selena Blackfang w/ Count Vlad vs Luciana Albano w/ Pierre Boulay

(The energy in the arena is electric as Luciana Albano, fresh off her Battle Royal victory, stands tall in the ring alongside her manager, Pierre Boulay. The anticipation builds as the reigning World Ladies Champion, Selena 'Widow’s Fang' Blackfang, makes her entrance, flanked by the ever-sinister Count Vlad. The tension is thick between these two dominant forces, and referee 'Honest' Abe signals for the bell.)

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "Luciana wasted no time cashing in her opportunity tonight, but can she dethrone Selena Blackfang, a woman who has built her reign on ruthless efficiency?"

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: "Both of these ladies are dangerous, and don’t forget, Pierre Boulay and

Count Vlad are lurking ringside—anything could happen!"

The match kicks off with both women immediately going at it, neither backing down. Selena stuns Luciana with a series of headbutts, but Luciana responds with a Belly to Back Pendulum Facebuster, quickly setting the tone for a brutal, hard-hitting encounter.

The two continue to trade blows, neither giving an inch. Selena attempts a Modified Scorpion Crosslock, looking to weaken her challenger, but Luciana fights through and delivers yet another Belly to Back Pendulum Facebuster, matching Selena point for point in the early going.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "Luciana is proving she’s more than just an opportunist—she’s bringing the fight to the champion!"

Luciana gains control, hammering Selena with yet another Pendulum Facebuster, but before she can capitalize, Pierre Boulay takes matters into his own hands—smashing Selena with a chair behind the ref’s back!

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: "There it is! Boulay’s making sure Luciana leaves here with the gold!"

Luciana goes for the cover—1…2…NO! Selena kicks out!

Selena, showing the resilience that made her champion, fights back with a Spinning Leghook Fireman’s Carry Slam, but Luciana shakes it off and nails Sole Food to keep herself in the fight.  Selena tries to rally, but Luciana stays one step ahead, continuing to punish her with a Full Nelson Slam, forcing another pin attempt—1…2…NO! Blackfang refuses to stay down!  The champion mounts another comeback with a Fallaway Slam, but Luciana refuses to be outdone, meeting her move-for-move with another Belly to Back Pendulum Facebuster. The match is nearing its climax as Pierre Boulay blatantly holds Selena in place, leaving her wide open for Luciana.

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: "That’s the kind of teamwork that gets results, Mike!"

Luciana capitalizes with a devastating Full Nelson Slam!

1…2…3!!!

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "It’s over! We have a NEW World Ladies Champion!"

(Luciana Albano stands victorious, holding the championship high as Pierre Boulay raises her hand in triumph. Count Vlad glares from ringside, disappointment in his eyes as Selena rolls out of the ring, the title no longer hers.)

But just as Luciana soaks in her moment, the crowd erupts in boos as ‘Viperfang’ Korbi Kong’s music hits. The venomous competitor makes her way down the ramp, smirking as she locks eyes with the new champion.

Korbi Kong: "Look at you, Luciana. You finally did it. But you still haven’t beaten me, have you?"

(Luciana, fuming at the taunt, steps forward, title clutched in her hands.)

Luciana Albano: "You want a shot? Fine. You and me. Right now."

(The crowd erupts as the challenge is made. The championship match may have ended, but it looks like Luciana’s night is far from over!)

Match #5:  The Main Event for the World Ladies Title #2:

Luciana Albano w/ Pierre Boulay vs Korbi ‘Viperfang’ Kong with Count Vlad

Korbi gets on the mic and reminds everyone that Pierre was involved in that match and the only way Luciana was able to win was with his interference.  She says that this match should be a no disqualification rules match.  Luciana agrees.

(The bell rings, and the HCW crowd is on their feet as Luciana Albano, fresh off her victory over Selena Blackfang, prepares to defend her newly won World Ladies Championship against the ever-dangerous 'Viperfang' Korbi Kong. Pierre Boulay lurks at ringside, ever the calculating strategist, ready to tip the scales in his protégé’s favor.)

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "Luciana barely had a moment to celebrate before Korbi Kong came out and issued this challenge, and now she's got to defend her title right away!"

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: "And look at Pierre Boulay, Mike! You know he’s always got a plan up his sleeve. Korbi might have the power, but Luciana’s got the numbers game on her side!"

The match starts evenly, with both women feeling each other out—Luciana hits a Vertical Suplex, but Korbi quickly grounds her with a Rear Chin Lock, neither competitor willing to give an inch. Luciana takes control early on, rattling Korbi with a Full Nelson Slam and following up with a Belly to Back Pendulum Facebuster, but Korbi responds with a Running Clothesline that shakes the ring.  Korbi soon finds herself in trouble as Pierre Boulay inserts himself into the match, holding Korbi in place while Luciana lines up a shot. The interference slows down Korbi’s momentum, allowing Luciana to land a Sole Food, but Korbi fights back, reversing a Riptide Pumphandle Bomb into a Rear Chin Lock to regain some control.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "Korbi Kong is hanging in there despite all of Boulay’s dirty tricks!"

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: "She better do more than hang in there, Mike—Luciana’s as ruthless as they come!"

Despite Korbi’s resilience, Pierre Boulay continues his interference, kicking her in the ribs behind the ref’s back. Luciana tries to capitalize, but Korbi refuses to stay down, kicking out of multiple pin attempts and nearly putting the champion away with a Scoop Powerslam and a vicious Arm Triangle Lock.

As the match progresses, Count Vlad makes his presence known at ringside, causing further distraction. Korbi keeps fighting, unleashing a Stiff Forearm Uppercut and a Running Shoulder Block, forcing Luciana on the defensive. The champion looks shaken for the first time all night.

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "Korbi is firing on all cylinders! Luciana’s in serious trouble!"

But just when it looks like Korbi might put Luciana away, Pierre Boulay discreetly slips a foreign object into Luciana’s hands!

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: "And there it is! You knew Boulay wasn’t going to let this match stay fair!"

Luciana seizes the moment, nailing Korbi with a devastating hidden shot, sending her reeling. With Korbi dazed, Luciana hoists her up and delivers a Vertical Suplex, bridging into a pin!

1…2…3!

Mike 'The Voice' Johnson: "Luciana steals it! She retains the HCW World Ladies Championship!"

(Luciana quickly rolls out of the ring, title clutched to her chest as Pierre Boulay raises her arm in victory. Korbi Kong stirs on the mat, realizing too late that once again, Luciana found a way to escape with the win.)

Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris: "Luciana Albano might still be the champ, but let’s not kid ourselves—Pierre Boulay handed her this victory on a silver platter!"

Luciana smirks at the furious Korbi Kong from the entrance ramp, the championship still hers for now, thanks to her manager’s underhanded tactics. But something tells us Korbi won’t forget this anytime soon.

Pierre and Luciana head up the ramp laughing all the way to the back.  Count Vlad immediately confers with Korbi and she nods at whatever plan he is concocting.  They head to the back and it seems like the show is over until the Omegatron lights up with one more segment.

Vignette 3: The Ice Sculpture

Setting: Jax and Molly's dressing room after another match. The tension between them is palpable.

[Jax and Molly enter the room and are immediately confronted by a massive ice sculpture of Molly. The intricate details capture her likeness perfectly. Molly's eyes widen in shock, while Jax's expression turns to one of anger.]

Molly: "Oh my... This is... incredible. Jax did you do this?”

Jax: "No! Why would I do this?”

Molly: "Maybe to thank me for all I have done for you!”

[Jax looks at her puzzled and confused.]

[She finds the final card and reads it aloud.]

Molly: "I know you will do the right thing. Signed with a heart and the letter Y."

[Jax, enraged, steps forward and smashes the ice sculpture with his fist, causing it to shatter into pieces.]

Jax: "What is going on, Molly? Have you joined the Dark Dominion? Tell me the truth!"

Molly: (Desperately) "No, Jax! I’m loyal to you, I swear!"

[Jax storms out of the room, leaving Molly standing amid the shattered ice. She clutches the card to her chest, a single tear rolling down her face as she looks sorrowfully at the remains of the sculpture.]

OH BOY…the pot is definitely upended on this one.  Stay tuned to see what happens next.

Hello fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. Tonight promises to be a night of intense action, shocking moments, and new beginnings. Fresh off an unforgettable PPV, the mystery man who appeared at the end of the event, now revealed as Black Mass, will make his in-ring debut tonight. The HCW landscape is shifting, and you won't want to miss a moment of it.

Reflecting on the PPV, The Rich Athlete retained his World Championship against The Morningstar in a brutal no DQ match. The Fangs of Despair showcased their dominance by successfully defending the Heritage Tag Team Titles against the Dynamic Duo. The Dark Dominion’s Night Stalkers and Azrael triumphed over the Snake Pit, while Jack ‘Timberfang’ Lumber and Beastfang fell to the Sons of Anarchy due to the unexpected return of the Wicked Prophet, leading to Jack's count-out loss. La Famiglia Marconi & Lou Albano III overcame the New Sicilians and Sal Albano, demonstrating their unity and strength.

In the women's division, the Widow’s Fang and Viperfang (Korbi) defeated Ashley Summers and Luciana Albano. The fallout saw Luciana turn on Ashley, blaming her for the loss, and now she's on a mission to reclaim the title she once held. The Banker faced a heartbreaking end to his HCW career, losing his career after failing to capture the TV title. His departure marks the end of a storied journey, but his legacy will forever remain in HCW history.

And in what was arguably the Match of the Night, Jax Brenner defeated the Hardcore Champion, the Yeti. However, the Yeti's mind games are far from over, and this rivalry is set to continue throughout 2025.

Tonight's card is stacked with exciting matches:

The Flaggship (Col. Flagg and Rex Rampage) will aim to restore their partnership as they face Thunder and Lightning (Ethan Hayes and Rafa Sandoval).

- Bloodfang Viktor Drakov takes on Adam Jameson in what promises to be a hard-hitting contest.

- In a non-title match, US Champion Zack Brown will battle Baron von Blood.

- Our main event will see the Heritage Women’s Championship defended as Ashely ‘Diamond’ Summers takes on Sarona Reiher.

With the anticipation of Black Mass's debut match and the fallout from the PPV, tonight's episode is guaranteed to deliver high-octane entertainment. Let's get to the action!

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to another thrilling episode of HCW! We're coming off an explosive PPV, and tonight's show promises to deliver even more excitement!"

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "That's right, Mike! The fallout from the PPV is still reverberating, and we've got an action-packed card tonight. But first, check this out! Up in the stands, there's a woman holding a sign that reads 'I am a Mass-ochist.' Looks like Black Mass already has at least one devoted fan!"

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "She must be a die-hard fan of Black Mass, the mystery man who made a huge impact at the end of the PPV. And speaking of Black Mass, we've got a pre-written intro for you folks to learn more about this enigmatic figure."

Intro for Black Mass:

In the dim, smoky arena, the audience buzzed with anticipation. Tonight, a figure of legend is set to make his debut in HCW—a man shrouded in mystery and wrapped in an enigma. The lights dimmed, and an eerie, foreboding melody began to play. The air grew thick with tension as a hulking silhouette emerged from the entrance tunnel.

Standing at an imposing 6'5" and weighing 455 pounds, Black Mass towered over the crowd. His face was obscured beneath a black Warlock’s robe, revealing nothing but shadow. Whispers rippled through the audience—was he really from Parts Unknown, or was he just a Bronx ghost story come to life?

As he strode toward the ring, each step echoed with the weight of impending doom. When he reached the ring, he flung back his robe, revealing a menacing facial mask and a wrestling outfit emblazoned with a red pentagram. The black leather gloves and boots completed his sinister ensemble, sending shivers down spines.

Black Mass was no ordinary heel. Unlike his counterparts, who relied on cheap tricks and shortcuts, he wielded his raw power with confidence and a relentless determination. He had the attitude of Stone Cold, the power of Brock Lesnar, and the savagery of Bruiser Brody, all rolled into one devastating force. He didn't need to cheat to win—he was a juggernaut on his own terms.

But make no mistake, if pushed to the edge, Black Mass wouldn't hesitate to unleash chaos. He reveled in the destruction brought by stairs, tables, and chairs, and the sight of blood only fueled his ferocity.

His reputation had already preceded him. In his last federation, he had clawed his way to the top, defeating every challenger that dared to stand before him. But when he finally won the championship, he did the unthinkable. With a look of disdain, he walked away from the ring and tossed the belt into a garbage can. When the ringside announcers demanded an explanation, he growled in his gravelly voice:

“I didn’t come here to become the champion; I came here to beat the hell out of the champion! Give the belt to someone who gives a shit [edited in prior airing]!”

For Black Mass, it was never about the titles or accolades. It was about the thrill of the fight, the satisfaction of asserting his dominance, and the chaos he could unleash upon his opponents. Tonight, as he prepared to make his mark in HCW, the audience knew they were in the presence of a force unlike any other—a man who wasn't just here to wrestle but to conquer and destroy.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "Black Mass is certainly a force to be reckoned with, Johnny. And we're about to see him in action for the first time right here tonight!"

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "I can't wait to see what Black Mass brings to the ring! Let's head to the ring for our first match of the night: Black Mass vs. Waldo Winchester!"

Match #1: Black Mass vs. Waldo Winchester

Black Mass makes his way to the ring, met with a mix of boos and cheers. His presence is commanding, and the anticipation in the arena is palpable. Waldo Winchester is already in the ring, fear and dread in his eyes.

The bell rings, and Black Mass wastes no time, charging at Waldo Winchester with a powerful Clothesline, sending him crashing to the mat. Black Mass follows up with a series of brutal strikes, showcasing his raw power and aggression.

Waldo Winchester tries to fight back with a dropkick, but Black Mass barely budges. Black Mass lifts Waldo with ease and delivers a devastating Spinebuster, shaking the ring.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "Black Mass is dominating this match! Waldo Winchester doesn't stand a chance!"

Black Mass continues his assault, hitting a Chokeslam on Waldo Winchester. The crowd is in awe of his sheer strength and dominance. Waldo attempts to escape, but Black Mass catches him with a Big Boot, knocking him down again.

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "This is an absolute mauling! Black Mass is making a statement in his debut match!"

Black Mass signals for the end and lifts Waldo Winchester for his finishing move, the Critical Mass. He slams Waldo into the mat with authority and goes for the pin.

1...2...3! Black Mass wins his debut match in dominant fashion.

Mike 'the Voice' Johnson: "What an impressive debut for Black Mass! He just dismantled Waldo Winchester!"

Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris: "This guy is the real deal, Mike. The entire HCW roster better watch out because Black Mass is here to make a statement!"

Black Mass stands tall in the ring, staring down at his fallen opponent. He picks him up over his head and hurls him to the floor. The crowd, not fans of Waldo, start to boo him. The big man is unfazed but what he did accomplish is getting the crowd buzzing with excitement and anticipation for what's next for this powerful newcomer. He leaves ignoring the fans and walks to the back with a commanding presence.

Match #2: The Flaggship vs Ethan Hayes and Rafa Sandoval.

The bell rang, and right away, ‘Lightning’ Ethan Hayes had to fight off a relentless double-team assault from Col. Samuel Flagg and Rex Rampage. The Flaggship dominated the early minutes, with Flagg executing snap suplexes and Rampage hitting his signature Rampage Stampede. However, Hayes fought back, reversing a double-team attempt and delivering a stunning Swanton Bomb that sent the crowd into a frenzy.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Hayes is like a bolt of lightning—just when you think you’ve got him, he strikes back!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “But Flagg and Rampage are working like a well-oiled war machine, Mike. This is bad news for Hayes!”

Despite the brutal offensive, Hayes kept countering, showing incredible resilience. The tides turned when Rafael ‘Rafa’ Castillo got involved, bringing his high-impact offense into the mix. Castillo’s superkick and Falcon Arrow combo left Flagg reeling, while Hayes capitalized with a Reverse of Fate. Even as Rampage unleashed a devastating piledriver, Hayes refused to stay down.

The final moments saw Hayes and Castillo isolating Flagg, hitting him with a rolling elbow and a sitout jawbreaker before Castillo planted him with another Falcon Arrow. The referee counted three, and the arena erupted as Hayes and Castillo stood victorious.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “They did it! Ethan Hayes and Rafael Castillo pulled off the win against the Flaggship!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “And you gotta wonder how Flagg is gonna take this, Mike—because that loss does NOT sit well with him!”

As Hayes and Castillo celebrated, Flagg turned his attention to Rampage, shoving him in the chest. He pointed a finger in his partner’s face, berating him for the loss. Rampage tried to walk away, but Flagg shoved him again, harder this time. The crowd started buzzing as tension boiled over. Rampage suddenly snapped, shoving Flagg right back, nearly knocking him off his feet. The Colonel looked stunned, then enraged. For a moment, it seemed like he might charge, but instead, he backed off, glaring at Rampage before rolling out of the ring.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: “Oh, you can feel it, Johnny! The Flaggship is sinking fast!”

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: “Rampage isn’t gonna be Flagg’s fall guy anymore—he just sent the Colonel a message!”

As Flagg stormed to the back, Rampage stood in the ring, breathing heavily, staring down his longtime partner. The cracks had formed, and it was only a matter of time before this powder keg exploded.

Backstage, Count Vlad says that he’s trying to get the Nightstalkers some more wins and says that tonight, Bloodfang will be taking on Adam Jameson. They head to the ring.

Match #3:  Bloodfang w/Count Vlad vs Adam Jameson

Mike "The Voice" Johnson: Welcome, HCW faithful, to an electrifying one-on-one contest between Adam Jameson and Dark Dominion’s own 'Bloodfang' Viktor Drakov! And we’ve got a special guest at the commentary table—Count Vlad himself!

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris: Oh great, just what we need.

Count Vlad: Ah, gentlemen, do not sound so displeased! I am here to grace you with my wisdom as my Dark Dominion devours another victim!

The match started off hot as Adam Jameson took to the skies with a FLYING DROPKICK that caught Bloodfang flush! Jameson followed up with a stunning BACKFLIP KICK, keeping the Dark Dominion brute on his toes. But Drakov, with Vlad’s encouragement, struck back, drilling Jameson with a PUNCH TO THE MIDSECTION, shifting the tide in his favor.

Count Vlad: Laughs Ah, Jameson thought he could dance around Drakov, but the hunter always catches his prey!

Drakov continued his assault, gnashing his teeth before locking in the BLOODHOUND BITE, wrenching at Jameson’s shoulder. Jameson refused to give in, but Drakov didn’t let up, hurling him with a BELLY-TO-BACK SUPLEX and digging his claws in with a SHOULDER PINCH. Jameson found an opening in the seventh minute, planting Drakov with his patented ADAM BOMB! But Vlad got involved, antagonizing Jameson from the outside, allowing Drakov to regain control with a CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris: Come on, ref! You’re just gonna let Vlad do whatever he wants out here?

Count Vlad: I do not "do whatever I want." I simply guide my warriors to victory!

Both men continued to exchange punishing blows—Jameson landed a series of GUT BUSTERS, but Drakov responded with another BELLY-TO-BACK SUPLEX. The battle was grueling, each man refusing to stay down. Drakov nearly ended it with a SHOULDER PINCH, scoring a near fall, but Jameson survived. In the final moments, Bloodfang’s sheer brutality took over—after a devastating CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL, Drakov drove Jameson into the mat with a RUNNING POWERSLAM for the 1…2…3!

Mike "The Voice" Johnson: And that’s it! Bloodfang takes the win, but Jameson gave him everything he had!

Count Vlad: Laughs You see? The Dark Dominion reigns supreme! This is only the beginning of the suffering we shall bring to HCW!

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris: Someone get this guy out of here before I lose my lunch.

Drakov stands victorious as Count Vlad revels in yet another triumph for the Dark Dominion.

Backstage:

Ashley "Diamond" Summers, Ruth Heartless & Luciana Albano with HCW’s newest backstage interviewer – ‘Truth’ Wayne.

(The camera cuts to the HCW interview area, where ‘Truth’ Wayne stands front and center, adjusting his tailored suit jacket and flashing his signature smirk. Beside him, Heritage Women's Champion Ashley 'Diamond' Summers stands with her title draped over her shoulder, arms crossed, her expression one of annoyance. Ruth Heartless stands next to her, exuding business-like authority. A few steps away, Luciana Albano watches with a smirk of her own, arms folded, clearly unimpressed.)

"Truth" Wayne: "Ladies and gentlemen, my name is ‘Truth’ Wayne, and let’s be honest—some people thrive under pressure, and some people… well, they just fold. And right now, I’m standing with a woman who, for all her sparkle and shine, found herself looking up at the lights last week. Ashley, let’s talk about it. You tried playing nice with Luciana here, and what did it get you? A front-row seat to a loss, courtesy of the Dark Dominion."

(Ashley exhales sharply, rolling her eyes before glaring at Wayne.)

Ashley Summers: "Oh, is that the truth? Because what I saw was the Dark Dominion cheating, as usual. And I saw Luciana over here with that little smirk—like she had something to say, but didn’t. So go ahead, Luciana. Speak your mind."

(Luciana chuckles, stepping forward, her smug expression growing.)

Luciana Albano: "Oh, I don’t have to say anything, Ashley. The footage speaks for itself. You got pinned, not me.  If Pierre had been here, the outcome would have been different."

(Ruth Heartless scoffs, stepping in between them with an icy smirk of her own.)

Ruth Heartless: "Luciana, let me make something crystal clear—Ashley Summers doesn’t need you. That partnership? It was business. And if you think for one second that you gained some kind of upper hand just because the Dark Dominion pulled one over on us? Oh, honey, you’re mistaken. Ashley is still the Heritage Women’s Champion.  And if you think Pierre would have done any better, you are sadly mistaken."

(Wayne tilts his head, nodding with mock understanding.)

"Truth" Wayne: "Hey, don’t look at me like that, Diamond. I deal in facts, not feelings. And the fact is—you’re stepping in the ring tonight against Sarona Reiher, a woman who doesn’t do ‘alliances,’ doesn’t do ‘partnerships,’ and doesn’t do ‘excuses.’ Are you absolutely sure you’re not walking into another disappointment?"

(Ashley’s smirk returns as she pats the title on her shoulder, leaning in slightly.)

Ashley Summers: "Sarona might be tough. She might be mean. But let me remind you of something, Truth—you’re standing in front of the Diamond Standard of this division. And I don’t make the same mistake twice."

(Luciana scoffs, shaking her head, but Ashley doesn’t let her speak.)

Ashley Summers: "And as for you, Luciana? If you want to keep running your mouth about what happened last week… we’ll deal with that real soon."

(Ruth nods in approval, and Ashley gives Wayne one last glare before turning on her heel and strutting off. Ruth follows, leaving Luciana standing there with an amused expression. Wayne watches them leave, then turns back to the camera, smirking.)

"Truth" Wayne: "You heard it, folks. Ashley Summers is all about not making the same mistake twice. Let’s see if that statement holds up under pressure. That’s the Cold, Hard Truth."

(With a final smirk, Wayne adjusts his sunglasses as the camera fades to black.)

Match #4: Zack Brown vs Baron von Blood in a non-title match

Mike "The Voice" Johnson: "Zack 'Commando' Brown is set to face Baron Von Blood in a non-title match, but something about this feels off, Hammer. You can feel it in the air!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris: "That’s because the Dark Dominion’s influence is spreading, Mike. And with a guy like Baron in the ring, you know there’s a plan at play."

The match began at an explosive pace, Zack taking the fight straight to Baron Von Blood. A blistering dropkick sent the German powerhouse staggering, and Zack looked to press his advantage—but that’s when things took a sinister turn.

As Zack prepared to hit the ropes, Baron stumbled back toward the referee, Honest Abe, conveniently turning his back on the action. And that’s when Jack Lumber—now known as Timberfang—slid into the ring from the crowd!

Before Zack could react, Timberfang attacked him like an avalanche, blasting him with a running big boot that nearly took his head off! The champion crumpled to the mat, stunned and vulnerable. The crowd erupted in boos, but Honest Abe remained oblivious as Baron turned back around with a wicked grin.

Mike "The Voice" Johnson: "Damn it! This was a setup all along! Jack Lumber—Timberfang—whatever he wants to call himself, just took Zack's head off!"

Johnny "The Hammer" Harris: "You saw Baron go right to the ref—that wasn’t an accident, Mike! This was coordinated!"

With Zack dazed, Baron yanked him up, laughing at the champ’s glassy-eyed expression. Without hesitation, he lifted Zack and snapped him down with the Blitzkrieg Stunner! The impact shook the ring, and Baron hooked the leg.

ONE… TWO… THREE!

Zack Brown had been robbed. Baron Von Blood stood victorious, rolling out of the ring with a smug smirk, while Timberfang remained inside, towering over the broken champion.

The crowd’s boos intensified as Timberfang reached down, yanking Zack up by the front of his singlet. Zack could barely stand as Timberfang lifted him high—then planted him with a thunderous Chokebomb!

Mike "The Voice" Johnson: "Come on! The match is over, damn it! Someone stop this man!"

Timberfang leaned over Zack’s fallen body, seething with aggression, before grabbing a microphone.

Jack ‘Timberfang’ Lumber: "Zack Brown… I used to be a man of honor. But honor means nothing when you are weak. And YOU… are weak. I am the predator now. And coming soon, I will take the United States Championship. You can’t stop it. You can’t stop ME."

With that, Timberfang shoved the US Title onto Zack’s chest and threw back his head and laughed. The message was clear: Zack Brown was no longer hunting. He was hunted.

Match #5: The Main Event:

Heritage Women’s Championship: Ashley Summers w/ Ruth Heartless vs Sarona Reiher

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: Welcome, HCW fans! It’s time for our MAIN EVENT! The Heritage Ladies Championship is on the line as the reigning champion, Ashley ‘Diamond’ Summers, defends against Sarona Reiher! And joining us at commentary is none other than Ashley’s manager, Ruth Heartless.

Ruth Heartless: That’s right, gentlemen! And let’s be clear—this match is just another opportunity for my Diamond to shine! Sarona is tough, sure, but she’s outclassed tonight!

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: Well, let’s see if she can prove you wrong! The bell rings, and here we go!

As soon as the bell rang, both women exploded into action. Ashley struck first with a Diamond Splash, but Sarona answered with a blistering superkick that nearly took the champ’s head off. The early exchanges saw neither woman gain a clear advantage, with Ashley landing a spear while Sarona responded with a jumping headbutt that left both competitors momentarily staggered.

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: These two are hitting hard right out of the gate!

Ruth Heartless: And yet, my Diamond is still standing strong! That’s championship material!

Ashley’s strategy quickly became evident—targeting Sarona’s back and midsection. She locked in a High Angle Crab, but Sarona gritted her teeth and powered out of it. Ashley adjusted, catching her opponent with a brutal Tilt-A-Whirl Gutbuster, finally putting some distance between them. But Sarona wasn’t backing down. She absorbed the pain and came roaring back, hoisting Ashley into the air for a Samoan Drop before ascending the ropes. The crowd held its breath as she soared, hitting a Superfly Splash flush across the champion’s torso. She hooked the leg—one… two… but Ashley kicked out just in time!

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: ONE…TWO…NO! Ashley kicks out!

Ruth Heartless: Did you really think that was enough? Please!

Ashley rebounded with a devastating Diamond Cutter, but Sarona stayed in it. A brutal SAVATE KICK in the eighth rocked the champ, followed by a wild exchange in the ninth with both women landing major shots—Ashley’s Tilt-A-Whirl Gutbuster and Sarona’s JUMPING HEADBUTT. Sarona connected with another SUPERKICK and went for another cover—

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: ONE…TWO…Ashley kicks out again!

Ashley fought back with a Standing Moonsault but Sarona wouldn’t stay down, countering with a monstrous POWERBOMB. At ringside, Ruth Heartless started getting involved, verbally berating Sarona and causing a distraction. Even so, Sarona still managed to hit another SUPERFLY SPLASH, though Ashley barely held on. Things took a dirty turn when Ruth blatantly gouged Sarona’s eyes while the ref was distracted.

Johnny ‘the Hammer’ Harris: Oh, come on! Honest Abe needs to keep his eyes on Ruth!

Ashley tried to capitalize, but Sarona fought through the interference, reversing a Figure Four attempt into a massive PUMPHANDLE SLAM. She went for another pin—

Mike ‘the Voice’ Johnson: ONE…TWO…THR—NO! Ashley gets the shoulder up!

In the final moments, Ruth Heartless made the difference. As Sarona prepared for one last strike, Ruth raked her nails across Sarona’s eyes behind the referee’s back. Stumbling blind, Sarona walked straight into a second Diamond Cutter! Ashley pounced, draping herself over her opponent.

One… two… KICKOUT!

Sarona manages to negate a spear but then the bell rang, and Ashley "Diamond" Summers retained the HCW Heritage Ladies Championship, thanks in no small part to Ruth’s interference and a time limit draw. As the boos rained down, Ashley and Ruth celebrated, knowing they had stolen another victory.

Ruth Heartless: You call it stolen, I call it dominance! My Diamond still shines brightest, and there’s NOTHING anyone can do about it!

Ashley and Ruth celebrated as the crowd gave a mixed reaction—some booing, some cheering the effort of Sarona Reiher. One thing was clear: this was a main event worthy of the HCW stage!

More to come so stay tuned.
