Hello
fans and welcome back to our show.
Tonight’s is the last show of the year as GM Max McGillicutty has given
the entire roster the rest of the year off.
The
show kicks off with Men’s Money in the Bank winner Jimmy Uso coming out and
heads to the ring. He says that he is
much better at tag team than at singles competition so tonight, he is cashing
in his contract for a shot at the Tag team titles held by the Desperados. The champs (El Chango and Leon Teremoto) come
out and belittle Jimmy who is then joined by his brother Jey. The Uso’s call the Desperados “chicken” and
then start clucking in the ring. Leon
gets pissed off and rushes the ring but the Uso’s dispatch him pretty
easy. Leon then returns to the ramp to
join his partner. El Chango stares at
him briefly before accepting the match for tonight. They then leave.
Back
in his office, Max reports that because of the stipulation Brock put in (no one
else), he is out of the CSWA and HWF. It
could be possible in the future that Brock could return but for now, he’s done.
We
go to the ring for our first match.
First, out comes the Ascension (Viktor and Konnor) with MJ. MJ is wearing a neckbrace after being on the
receiving end of a Bubba Bomb. Their
opponents, Bo Dallas and Jack Swagger – The Varsity Club. The Ascension immediately attacked Swagger
and the Varsity Club went on the defense never to recover. Konnor and Viktor took all their aggressions
out on Bo and Jack and Viktor finished off Jack with a spinning back elbow
smash. After the 3 count, the Ascension
continued the beatdown until MJ called them off. The Ascension are still in a pissy mood and
probably will be till next year. (10
min)
In
the back, Women’s money in the bank winner Bayley says that tonight she is
cashing in her contract against Women’s champion Paige. Gail Kim walks over and says she was screwed
out of the title. She challenges Bayley
to put her briefcase on the line against her.
Bayley tells Gail to be ready as she’s bringing her A-game.
It’s
time for our next match and it is for the Tag Team titles. The Uso’s (Jey and Jimmy) come out
first. New music hits and then the
champs (El Chango & Leon Teremoto) make their way to the ring. Jimmy and Jey put on a tough show but the
champs where just a tad better. The
Uso’s got dumped on the outside of the ring a few times and each time, due to
Leon’s interference, they almost got counted out. The Uso’s would battle back and Jey would
take Leon out with a toss-up Samoan drop but El Chango caught Jimmy with the
Diamond Dust and with a hook of the tights, secures the 1-2-3. The Desperados are victorious in their first
title defense. (16 min)
The
Icon Sting makes his way out to a pop from the crowd. Sting says that he gave it his all at
Starcade but Tyler Breeze was the better man.
Sting asks for Tyler to come out .
Tyler makes his way to the ring.
Sting says that the champ put on a hell of a contest and the fact he’s
holding the X-division title shows he was the man to beat. Sting says he didn’t. He thanks Tyler for the chance to fight for
that title. Sting then says that he put
it all on the line but couldn’t take the gold.
Sting says that he’s already spoken with GM Max McGillicutty as well the
owners and thinks that now is the time for him to retire. The fans explode with “no” and he says he’s
always been thankful for the fan’s support but he does want to retire while
he’s still healthy. He thanks the fans
once again and they start a “Thank you Sting” chant. Sting has to wipe a tear from his eye as he
becomes emotional. He then leaves the
ring for perhaps the very last time.
Max
is in his office and he says that the Miz and Phat Sol will have a rematch
tonight in the main event with no time limit as he wants this one to be over
between the two of them.
It
is time for the next match. This one has
Eric Young taking on Goldust with Stardust in his corner. This one went 23 minutes with Goldie
controlling the entire match. EY ran at
Goldust but got caught and thrown up in the air behind him. EY came crashing down hard on the steel post
almost knocking himself out. Goldust
made the quick cover and got the 1-2-3.
Medics came to check on Eric and was taken out on a stretcher. (23 min)
The
Hashtag himself CJ makes his way out to the ring. He tells the fans that his match between
Magnum Kone and the Stache was brutal.
However, as was pointed out last week, CJ was never pinned nor did he
submit. He feels he let the fans down
(they cheer him to pump them up). CJ
promised that this time off will be put to good use. He will hit the gym double hard and will come
back next year. He got the Stache to
tap out and eventually pass out once and he will do it again. CJ says that having the fans in his corner
has made him a better wrestler and a better man (huge pop from the crowd). CJ says thank you once again and leaves to
the cheers from the fans.
In
the back, the Miz says that he had Phat Sol on the ropes and if it weren’t for
the time limit, he’d have bested him.
Larry Morton tells the Miz he has it backwards and Miz almost hits
him. Miz says that Phat Sol is done
after tonight. He then walks away.
We
go back to the ring for our next match which is a best of 3 falls match for
Bayley’s money in the bank contract.
First, Bayley comes out to the cheering from the fans and gets a decent
pop. She hands her briefcase to the ref. Gail Kim comes out next to a good pop from
the crowd. She climbs the turnbuckles salutes
the fans. The bell rings and this one is
started. This one starts off fast and
furious. Bayley outwrestled Gail Kim
much to the surprise of the former champ.
About 8 minutes in, Gail gets desperate and after choking Bayley in the
corner, locks in a dragon sleeper. Gail
used the ropes for leverage and that caused Bayley to tap out. Gail Kim wins the first fall. The second fall saw Bayley turn up the heat
and at 4 minutes, threw Gail out of the ring.
Bayley then climbs the turnbuckle and nails a suicide dive onto
Kim. She crawls back into the ring just
before the 10 count. Bayley wins the
second fall via countout at 4 minutes.
The ref now informs us that the third fall will be no countout. Gail got really fired up and put Bayley on
the defensive. Both women technically
would have been counted out a few times but with the rule in place, the match
continued. Gail, while on the outside,
threw Bayley into the steel steps two times.
She then threw her back in the ring.
Bayley goes for a lariat but Kim ducked and hit a flying hurricanrana. She hooks the leg (and a bit of tights) and
gets the 1-2-3. (16 min) Gail Kim wins the money in the bank contract. (total match time: 28 min). Gail then calls out Paige and says she’s
cashing in right now.
Women’s
Champion Paige comes out and accepts the match. Paige was super fresh and Gail
was tired from her match (not quite sure why she put out the challenge). Paige owned Kim and at the 8 minute mark,
locked in the PTO (Paige tap out) and got Gail to tap. Paige retains her title. Bayley, who was sitting at ringside,
approaches the champ and says she’d like to have a non-title match with her in
the future. Paige humored her and said
next year it would happen. (8 min for
the match; 10 for the segment)
It is time for the main event. The challenger Phat Sol comes out first and
gets one of the biggest pops of the night.
He is then followed out by US Champion the Miz and the Fiend. The Fiend sits at commentary. After Phat hits the Miz with a jaw jacker,
he went on the defensive and The Miz just went to town and beat down on
Phat. Phat would try to make a comeback
but Miz would outwrestle him. The few
times the Miz went for the pin, he made a sloppy cover and then was surprised
when Phat kicked out. Miz could have had
this all locked up but his arrogance pushed him to continue to punish Phat (for
just being Phat). Miz connects with a
flying headscissors and then shows off to the fans. Phat manages to get to his feet and then as
Miz turns around, kicks him in the gut and then hits the Phat Phat
(Brainbuster). Phat hooks the leg as the
ref counts 1…2…3. Phat Sol has won the
match and is the NEW US Champion. Phat’s
niece Madame Jade comes down to celebrate with him and balloons and streamers
fall from the ceiling. Phat celebrates
with his title as the Miz leaves the ring disgraced. The show comes to an end with fans piling in
the ring and celebrating with the new champ. (13 min)
With
that, our final newsletter of 2015 comes to an end. From the HWF and CSWA, we wish you all a very
save and Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. See you in 2016!!!
