Hello fans and
welcome to another installment of HCW’s Phoenix Heat. The show kicks off with GM Master Bull making
his way out to a pop form the crowd.
Bull kicks off the show saying that Tacoma’s GM Max McGillicutty did
beat him to the punch with his announcements but says that he has a doozy that
should garnish a pop from this enthusiastic crowd. Bull announces King Wilber Townsend (IF he
still has his crown) vs Sonic Blade will take place again but it will be after
both the PPV and the super show. The
stipulation will be one never seen before in HCW or the old HWF/CSWA
organizations. It will be a 60 minute
iron man match but a major stipulation will be that neither man can go for a
pin or submission for the first 45 minutes.
Bull also
announces that Phoenix will host the first EVER Elimination Chamber! The crowd pops huge. “Now, here is what we know and don’t
know. What we know: The Elimination Chamber will make its first
appearance at a Phoenix Show. The entire
show will be Elimination Chamber style matches but this will NOT be a super
show or a PPV…yet. The concept of the
Elimination Chamber will only be allowed to be used twice in a given calendar
year AND it will be, for that first year, an exclusive concept for Phoenix
Heat!” The crowd pops huge at this
announcement. “There will be lots of
logistics to work through but knowing the types of fans we have here in
Phoenix, this is something WE deserve.”
The crowd pops again. “Finally,
your show tonight will be capped with US Champion the Crocodile Hunter
defending his title. Now, without all
that out of the way, let’s get YOUR show moving.” Bull leaves the stage as pyro goes off.

To kick things
off, 1/3 of the 6 Man Champions Biceps Bannerman makes his way down to the ring
to a pop from the crowd. Next, manager J
C Dykes comes out and the booing ensues.
It gets worse as the Unknown Assassin makes his way to the stage and
even worse as security comes out to line the ramp to “protect” him from flying
debris. Security doesn’t seem to do that
good of a job as the fans have gotten good at lobbing stuff over their
heads. A soda hits Dykes in the back and
he threatens to sue but has no idea who threw it. The fans in the area the soda came from all
collectively put their hands up with the “Who me?” looks on their faces. It was pretty funny actually (for everyone
except UA and Dykes that is). A very
determined Unknown Assassin gets in the ring and goes right after Bannerman. And man, Biceps was not ready for the
onslaught that came from his opponent or the distractions caused by Dykes. The ass whipping that ensued (112 to 40) came
to a merciful conclusion after UA locked in a standing crossface and then
turned it into a pin giving him the win.
Unknown Assassin gets the win and he and Dykes leave. Dykes would turn around every few seconds to
flip off the fans. As they get to the
top of the ramp, they turn around one last time to flip off the fans but then
turn around only to run into Crow Phat.
UA immediately attacks him beating him down only for a second Crow Phat
to show up. Dykes yells “What the hell
is this?” and UA beats this one down only to be replaced by another…and
another…and another. After what seemed
like an eternity (but in reality was about 2 minutes), a light shined up in the
rafters and there was, we presume, the real Crow Phat Sol. Phat points the finger at UA and Dykes and
then the light goes off. Dykes and UA
take off leaving the bodies of the phake phat sols behind. (13 min for the match; 5 for the additional
segment)
The Banker is
backstage with his manager Ruth Heartless and he says that Winger is “past due”
and that all future title shots at any title will be subsequently “denied” and
why you may ask… “Is because the Banker Said So!” This of course elicited a collective groan
from the audience and I’m sure also from everyone watching on TV.
We’re ready for
our next match. Jazz Emmett makes her
way out to a mixed reaction from the crowd.
Next, all-to-familiar music hits and out comes Ravishing Raquel. The crowd pops HUGE. She is all business tonight and wastes no
time making her way down the ring.
However, she is attacked by Ladies Champion Taylor Bella who, with
Figaroa Newton yelling “Beat her up…beat her up good” well, beat her up pretty
good. Taylor then rolled Raquel into the
ring and the bell sounds almost immediately and this one is off to the
races. Taylor and Figgy went to sit at
commentary. Raquel was at a severe
disadvantage throughout the match but kept on persevering. Just when it looked like Raquel was going to
turn things around, Taylor got up and “accidentally” tripped Raquel causing her
to fall face first to the mat. Jazz then
hit a divinig double knee drop and with a hook of the tights, got the 1-2-3. Jazz Emmett steals a win. She leaves and Taylor enters the ring. She
then picked Raquel up and slapped her across the face a couple of times. That right there woke a sleeping giant. Raquel immediately started blasting the champ
with lefts and rights then then threw her to the ropes and knocked her silly
with a flying dropkick. Before she could
do anything else, Figgy pulled Taylor out of the ring and they immediately made
a beeline for the back. Raquel asked for a mic.
“Taylor…you want to interfere in my matches and prevent me from
dominating the sport again…fine. You
want sneak attack me because you think that is the only way you’re going to get
ANY advantage over me…fine. What you
will NOT do however is beat me when we meet next week for that title. I promise in front of this ENTIRE crowd that
I will defeat you.” The fans popped
huge. “Not only will I beat you, I WILL
make you tap out and then the world will so who the best in the world really
is.” Figgy and Taylor brushed off the
threat and went to the back. Raquel
celebrated with the fans for a moment before following suit. (12 min)
Making their way
to Master Bull’s office is J C Dykes and the Unknown Assassin. They tried to barge in but Bull quickly cut
them off saying “I don’t have time for you right now so (he walks toward them
making them backtrack to the door) I suggest you come back at a later
time.” He then closes the door in their
faces and to prevent any further interruptions, we hear an audible ‘click’ as
the door is locked from the other side.
UA and Dykes storm off.
Before our next
match can begin, we wanted to offer a little recap. During Leon Teremoto’s defense of the
Hardcore title (and subsequent loss to Ferb Huber), not only did the Huber Clan
get involved in the match but so did every member of the Snake Pit (Leiton,
Niven & Tobias Snake). Even though
this transpired on Tacoma’s ground, Bull immediately agreed to allow this match
to happen in his back yard. First, the
Huber Clan (Junior, Butch and the HC champion Ferb Huber) came out to booing
from the crowd (most likely voicing their displeasure at how Leon lost the
title). The Snake Pit comes out and
after doing their fist bump on the stage, they head to the ring. The Hubers wasted no time and attacked the
Pit. This match is a no count out, no DQ
match to give both teams the chance to try and settle this in the ring. After about a minute, the Pit began their
domination totally destroyed the Huber clan (215 to 111). After dominating the match, Tobias comes in
and hits Butch with the Dirty Deeds DDT but lets him up and then hits a running
crossbody to get the cover and the 3 count.
The Snake Pit get the win in 19 min.
That however didn’t end the fight as all 6 men continued to battle and
fought all the way to the back.
Perfect Pecs
Stoddard is backstage and he says that tonight, what Ferb Huber started, he
will continue and that is to unseat a champion and take the belt as your
own. Tonight, he gets the Crocodile
Hunter and promises to send him back to the backwoods in Australia where he
came from.
Next, Terra Ryzing
bullies his way out and gets on the mic and calls out Jesse California to
challenge him for his spot in the top 10 lineup. He paces as he waits for Jesse to come
out. Eventually he does and gets a small
pop as he heads down to the ring. Terra
can’t seem to wait so he rushes out too meet his opponent and the two begin
fighting their way to the ring. The two
men battled for an entire 20 minutes with no resolution. When the bell rang signaling the end of the
match, it is declared a draw and Jesse retains his spot. Terra, still a little left in the tank,
charges at Jesse who ducks and pulls the top rope down allowing Terra to go
flying over the top and crashing to the floor.
Terra gets up and realizes the futility and makes his way to the back. Jesse follows shortly thereafter. (20 min draw)
The US Champion
the Crocodile Hunter is backstage and cuts a promo saying that he’ll defeat the
man with the enormous pecs and will hold his title high as he is declared the
winner and still champion.
For the next
match, Ruth Heartless comes out first and introduces, with briefcase in hand,
the Banker. The two are showered with
booing from the crowd and they ignore it as they make their way down to the
ring. For this match, the Banker is
challenging ‘Rowdy’ Roderick Rothchild for his spot in the lineup. The Ambassador comes out and is followed by
Roderick who gets a nice pop from the fans.
He makes his way down and then stands in his corner waiting for the bell
to ring. Before the match could begin,
Ruth distracted the ref and the Banker used his briefcase as a weapon and hit
Roderick in the head. He then disposed
of the weapon and went on the offensive as the bell rang. The Banker started to go to town but with
advice from the Ambassador, Roderick began an offensive run. The run came to an end after both the Banker
and Roderick were on the outside of the ring.
The Banker introduced Roderick’s arm to the steel post not once, not
twice but three times. After that, the
limb was practically useless. Once back
in the ring, Roderick tried for the Rothchild Stunner but failed. The Banker locked in the ATM fee armbar and
Roderick had no choice but to tap out.
The Banker gets the win via submission and moves up in the
rankings. Ruth Heartless entered the
ring with the Banker’s briefcase. She
opens it up and he removes his stamp. He
makes a show about getting ready to stamp the word “Denied” on Roderick’s
forehead but a commotion caused him to stop.
He looks up to see “Top Gun” Justin Winger rushing down. The Banker tries to stamp Roderick but the
Ambassador pulled him out of the ring just as Winger was hitting the ring. Winger and the Banker battled back and forth
and both men had to be restrained by security.
The Banker lunged at Winger and managed to partially tag him with the
“DE” in Denied. He and Ruth left and
security made sure he didn’t return to the ring. Winger was pissed and can’t wait to get his
hands on the Banker. GM Master Bull came
out and said that he’s sending both the Banker and Winger home (even though
Winger wasn’t scheduled for this show) and said that he will make a major
announcement next week involving the 2.
J C Dykes finally
tracks down someone to interview him and it’s none other than Clarkus
Kentus. Dykes tells him not to utter a
word and just stand there holding the mic.
Before Dykes can even get a word in, the camera shuts off (presumably on
orders from Master Bull and the camera man and Clarkus walk off. Dykes is not a happy camper.
It’s time for our
main event. First, Perfect Pecs Stoddard
comes out to booing from the fans.
Stoddard stops at a fan who is holding a “Croc Rules” sign and he
viciously takes it away and tears it to shreds.
He continues to the ring. Next,
music changes and out comes the US Champion the Crocodile Hunter. Croc makes his way down to the ring and stops
by the fan who had his sign torn up.
Croc hands him some…crocs … and then heads to the ring. He gets in and holds the title high. As soon as the match began, Croc began
handing Pecs an ass whupping. This went
on for about 5 minutes until Pecs hit a low blow and then dropped him with a
Celtic kick for a near 2 count. Pecs
continued to dominate until Croc hit him with a dropkick that took out Pec’s
leg. Stoddard tried to stand but fell to
his knees. Croc swooped in and applied
an Ankle lock. Croc had it cinched in
and Pecs couldn’t reach the ropes so he tapped out. Croc lets go and is declared the winner of
the match and Still the US Champion.
Croc climbed all 4 turnbuckles and held his title high as the show comes
to an end.
