As Thanksgiving is almost upon us, this show is being held early to give the talent time to take some well-deserved time off and celebrate the holiday (safely) with friends and family (although the ‘warden’ Sassy Maxine DeVito would have everyone work through the holidays). Maxine posted a sign on the back door wrestlers come through banning Korbi Kong from backstage for tonight’s show. What a meanie.

kicking off today’s show. First, Goldie
Locks comes out to a nice pop from the crowd.
She gets into the ring and continues to psyche up the crowd. The crowd goes sour when J9’s music hits and
boos her as she comes out. She walks to
the ring but occasionally flips people off.

will be an “I Quit” match. She goes to
leave as Goldie grabs the mic and struggles to her feet. “You know, I had the exact same thought so I
had this contract drawn up already. All
it needs is your signature.” She throws
the contract to J9. She takes it and
immediately signs it. She throws it back
into the ring. Goldie picks it up. “Oh, and also, the “I Quit” stipulation is
not just for the match. Whoever says the
words “I quit” will also be quitting HCW.”
J9’s eyes go all wide and starts to scream “NO NO NO”. Goldie smiles and J9 storms to the back.
J9 walks into
Maxine;s office to complain about Goldie’s “treachery”. Maxine tells her, like for tonight’s match,
she will have it covered. J9 leaves
smirking. As she left the office, she
didn’t notice that someone else was lurking outside of Maxine’s office. Hmmmm.
We head back to
the ring for our next match. First, the
challenger Texas Wildfire comes out to a huge pop from the crowd. He high fives the fans as he makes his way
down to the ring. He gets in to the ring
and climbs the turnbuckle to elicit even bigger pops from the crowd. After a moment, the music changes and out
comes the TV Champion Starbuck Steel.
The crowd also pops for him as he makes his way to the ring. He climbs the turnbuckle and holds the title
high. He steps into the center of the
ring with Texas Wildfire. The last time
these two faced off one on one, Starbuck walked away as the new champion. Will the stars align for Wildfire
tonight? The bell rings and the two
shake hands. For 11 minutes, the match
was practically even with both men giving it their all. We join the match at the 12 minute mark.

up. Starbuck and Wildfire shake
hands. Starbuck leaves making his way to
the back but he is ambushed by Wilber Townsend, Talon McFrost and Otto
Ruthless. The attack doesn’t last long
as Buzz Steel and Biceps Bannerman come out to chase them off. Wildfire had attempted to head over to help
but he too was ambushed but by the Banker.
Wildfire ended up chasing the Banker off and the Curtain and Bannnerman
sent the 6 Man Tag champs packing. Looks
like some old feuds are getting rekindled.
Backstage, Jack
Lumber and Rad Gumbo are pacing. Lumber
begins “Well, let me tell you somethin’ brother…”. Rad gives him a sideways glance. “That Wicked Prophet and Madman Mason have
opened a package of kindle and are trying to burn down HCW. Not on our watch brother.” Rad takes over. “Mon Ami, with da power of the Lumber and the
charisma of Le Champion da Ragin Cajun, we gonna set da world straight.” Lumber ends the promo with “And whatcha gonna
do brother when the power of the Lumber Lounge and the crafty Cajun run wild on
YOU?” Jack tries his best at posing like
Hulk Hogan. Rad shakes his head.
We head to the
ring for our next match. First, the fans
pop huge as Violet Valkyrie comes running out from behind the curtain and
dashes to the ring sliding under the bottom rope. She begins climbing each of the corner
turnbuckles eliciting louder and louder pops from the fans. Just as she completed the 4 corner, her music
is cut off and out comes ‘Sassy’ Maxine DeVito.
The crowd boos heavily. She has a
mic in hand. “SHUT YOUR MOUTHS you
miscreants. I am the power behind HCW
and I dictate how things go around here.
I’ve banned YOUR (pointing to Violet) BFF from backstage so you can’t
count on her to interfere on your behalf.
Second, You (pointing to Violet) MUST win (she mumbles “fat chance”) and
if not, then you get to sit on the sidelines…like you do for your soccer
club. HAHA. You know what it means to be a bench warmer,
don’t you? HAHA. Let’s get your embarrassing career moving
south, shall we?” She makes her way to
the ring. Once there, out comes Max
McGillicutty. Max says that Maxine
continues to stack the deck against people she doesn’t like and tonight, he’s
not a ref, he’s not a GM; just an observer…as a fan. He jumps the barrier and sits at ringside
next to an empty chair. “Oh, I forgot to
mention, my guest for this match.” The
spotlight shines at the top of the steps and out comes Korbi Kong. The fans pop as Korbi makes her way to her
ringside seat. Maxine tries to get
security to throw her out but Max reminds her that she only banned Korbi from
backstage, not from the arena. The ref
starts the match. It’s apparent that
this ref is also in Maxine’s back pocket.
Maxine held the
advantage early but Violet quickly fought back and the two remained pretty even
through the match. Maxine locked Violet
in a bodyscissors dragon sleeper but Violet made it to the ropes to break the
hold. We join the match at the 8 minute

We head to the
back for a promo from the team of Apollo Gyze and Dash Woodbrick. Apollo says that he’s finally found someone
with his beliefs (that the system is against them) but Dash tells him he’s done
ok for himself. He reminds Apollo he’s
held a few titles which is more than a lot of the rubbish around here have
done. Apollo nods and says that in less
than a month, they show the tag champs who the best team in HCW really is.
We head to the ring
for our next match. First, Madman Mason and
the fans boo him heavily. He stops and
waits as Royal music pipes in and out comes the King of HCW, the Wicked
Prophet. He too is booed heavily. The unholy alliance between these two came
together for mutual benefit – the utter destruction and annihilation of Rad
Gumbo and Jack Lumber. The two make it
into the ring and the booing intensifies.
The music changes and we hear “GUMBO 730 MEANS ITS SUPPA TIME, BITCH!”
and out comes the Ragin Cajun and his manager Ms. Alexandria. The fans pop huge for Rad and he soaks it in
and waits for his tag team partner. Lumber’s
music hits and out comes the flannel wearing World Champion Jack Lumber. He gets an equally large pop especially from the
direction of the Lumber Lounge. They
make it to the ring but Mason goes right on the offensive tossing Jack from the
ring and going to battle with Gumbo. It was
very apparent that the ref for this match, “Frank” didn’t care for the rule
breakers at all. He may have even been
biased towards the champs (we later learned that Frank “Woke” to the truth
about Prophet’s prophesizing).

try to attack again but are quickly eliminated out of the ring. Prophet maintains a level of calm where Mason
goes off the deep end hollering at their opponents. Eventually Prophet and Mason leave. Jack and Rad stayed to celebrate with the
fans before heading to the back a few moments later.
We go to the back
one last time and are with the Tag Team Champions Drew the Canadian Love
Machine and Davis ‘the Hoff’ Hoffmeister.
Drew is all serious and says that Dash and Apollo have taken cheap shots
at them. Once they walk out of tonight’s
match as the winners, they will deal with them.
Davis adds “You boys don’t know what you’ve stepped into. But you will.” They walk off.
It’s time for our
main event. First, Muscles McGuire and
Thorpe make their way out to a decent pop from the crowd. Absent are their rainbow colored bull horns
and their boxes of ‘Booty O’s’ cereal.
They interact with the fans and make their way to ringside. They enter the ring continuing to excite the
crowd. The music changes and the fans
explode when Drew and Davis, the World Tag Team Champions, come out on
stage. They make their way to the ring
high fiving the fans along the way. They
get into the ring and hold the titles high.
The Muscles go right on the offensive attacking them to start the match. The champs controlled the match early until
most of the lights in the arena went dark.
We then see the shadows of two people jump in and attack the champs
(Drew was in the ring and Davis was outside).
After hitting Drew with a double powerbomb, they went outside attacking Davis
and used a double powerbomb through the announcer’s table to take him,
effectively, out of the match. The
lights came up and the two men took off.
Drew continued on solo but the Muscles proved too much and after McGuire
hit Drew with a hurricanrana, he made the cover and got the surprise 3
count. The Muscles just defeated Drew
and Davis to become the NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!! This brought out GM ‘Sassy’ Maxine DeVito
followed by Apollo Gyze and Dash Woodbrick.
She says that this was an unexpected outcome and instead of waiting
until the PPV, she is giving Apollo and Dash their title shot RIGHT NOW.
It looks like we
have another match to go. The Muscles
were exhausted from their match and putting them in the ring with two fresh
bodies (and a heel ref to boot) did them no favors. They managed to hold their own for 10
minutes. We now join the match at the 11
minute mark.
