HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2018 #661– Phoenix Heat

Hello fans and welcome back to another installment of HCW’s Phoenix Heat.  The show begins with pyro going off and GM Master Bull comes out.  He has a mic in hand and tells the fans that unlike King Rad Gumbo up in Tacoma, he is not going to take up half the show with his yammering.  Bull says that he has three things to say.  First, tonight we crown new 6 man tag team champions.  8 teams will square off in 30 minute time limit matches and one team will take the belts home tonight.  He says he’d had hoped that the Steel Curtain and Biceps Bannerman could have been in this but since their loss to Graham’s Ghouls (and the loss of the belts as well), they had to disband.   Second, tonight’s main event will have Scooter J once again challenging Texas Wildfire for the US title.  Scooter J has been denied at most turns ever since turning on the Axe and TNT but he promises that tonight, his luck changes.  We can also expect to hear tonight who the winner of the Elimination Chamber – the Unknown Assassin -  will cash his title shot in against.  Finally, Bull says that at the end of the show, he will be announcing the second inductee for the 2018 Hall of Fame.  He encourages the fans to stick around for that.  He leaves as pyro goes off again and our show is ready to go.

Our first match is ready to go and out comes the team of Talon McFrost, Wilber Townsend and Otto Ruthless.  Talon is taking Scooter J’s spot as he has a title match in tonight’s main event.  All 3 men are booed.  Next, the 5th Column (Baron von Blood, Oswald Zimmerman & Karl Braun) come out and they too are booed but they head down to the ring.  All 6 men start off shoving each other and then it breaks into an all-out brawl.   It takes the ref a moment to regain control but he eventually does.  Otto’s team totally took the match to the Column and (in this humble writers opinion), the team performed better than they do with Scooter J.  The end came after Otto reversed a Nuremburb backbreaker and locked in a leglock.  He rolled Baron von Blood up and with a foot on the ropes, he got the 1-2-3.  Otto, Talon and Wilber get the win and move on in the tournament.  (14 min)

Backstage, World Champion Starbuck Steel is asked if he could choose who his Critical Mass opponent would be, Starbuck replied and said he’d love to face his brother Buzz Steel.  I guess we’ll have to wait to see what happens.

The next match is ready to go.  The Hubers (Ferb, Butch and Junior) come out and they are booed.  Next, the Muscles Trio (Muscles McGuire, Weasley and Thorpe) come out to a pop from the crowd.  The entertaining trio are running around wearing their rainbow colored bull horns and have their boxes of Booty-O’s cereal.  The Muscles immediately triple teamed the Huber and for 3 solid minutes, they held the advantage.  The Huber then turned the tables on them and began wiping the mat with the comedic troupe.  Ferb ends up hitting McGuire with a big boot but is then sent to the outside of the ring.  Muscles Thorpe is on the outside and he hits Ferb with the E-Train.  Ferb is not able to make it back in before the 10 count and ends up getting counted out.  The Hubers may have dominated the match but now they are out.  The Muscles Trio moves on.  (9 min)

Manager J C Dykes and the Unknown Assassin are backstage.  Dykes says that UA has made his decision on which title he was going to cash in against.  First, though, they are announcing it on the grandest stage of them all – at Critical Mass.  Before they can announce it, Buzz Steel walks in and says that his brother picked him, not UA, not Drew the Canadian Love Machine, HIM to fight at the PPV.  Dykes says that UA has a contract.  Buzz says that’s ok and he can have his match AFTER Buzz gets his.  The Unknown Assassin then challenges Buzz to a match and says the winner gets the shot at the World title AT the PPV.  Buzz agrees and walks off.

Our third match is underway and it seems like most of the matches have been relatively short.  First, the Snake Pit (Leiton, Tobias and Niven Snake) come out and get a mixed reaction from the crowd.  Next, the team of the Axe, TNT and Brick come out to the loudest pop of the night.  The three waste no time and get right into the ring.  The bell rings and this one is off to the races.  The Snake Pit used their cunning and they owned the match.  Axe, TNT and Brick all took turns taking their licks.  During TNT’s beatdown, Tobias went for a Hook and Ladder Facebuster but somehow TNT reversed it and he planted Tobias with the TNT.  The Axe and Brick rushed in and took out the other members of the Pit.  TNT makes the cover and gets the 3 count.  In what was a clear upset, The Axe, TNT and Brick get the win and they move on.  (16 min)

Master Bull is back in his office and he says he won’t interrupt the show too much but wanted to add the match between Buzz Steel and the Unknown Assassin to the card tonight.  The winner will take on Starbuck Steel for the World title at Critical Mass.

We head back to the ring as Ivan Dragovich, Wendell Hammerschmidt and Red McNulty are almost at the ring.  Next, Ant Graham comes out (what the hell is he doing here) and he says that the illustrious King gave him not only permission to be at his teams’ side but this match will be a no countout / no DQ match.  “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE” blares over the loudspeakers and out comes Dr. Red Fang, Wolfman Keg and Mason the Mangler.  Graham and his Ghouls make their way down to and into the ring.  The match starts off and both teams are pretty even as things go but Ivan’s team struck early with the triple teaming.  Fang did manage to catch Ivan with an airplane spin and then dumped him but Ivan landed awkwardly on his leg.  Ivan went for a swinging side slam but Fang neutralized it.  Fang hits Ivan with the skull crusher but Ivan hits a diving headbutt.  He tried to make the tag but the Ghouls pulled him back to their corner.  Fang then locked in the Spider leg lock.  Ivan tried to make it to the ropes but he just couldn’t make it.  Ivan tapped out before his teammates could make the save.  The Ghouls get the win and advance in the shortest match of the night (4 min).

Scooter J is backstage and he complains once again about having to wait for his match.  He says that this time, as long as Texas Wildfire doesn’t run away like a coward, he should be victorious in his match tonight.

The Muscles Trio come out first (cheered) and they are followed by Talon, Wilber and Otto.  This one was a much better fight and even though they struggled, the Muscles kept preventing pin attempts.  Finally, Wilber and Otto got tired of their antics.  Wilber pulled Weasley out of the ring and dropped him with the GTS.  Otto pulled out Thorpe and opened up a can of Ruthless Aggression on him.  That left Talon able to hit McGuire with the Cold Stone in the middle of the ring and secure the 1-2-3.  Wilber, Otto and Talon move on to the finals.  (25 min)

Texas Wildfire is backstage and he says that Scooter J will whine and complain about a splinter in his finger.  Everyone on the roster wants Scooter J to SHUT THE HELL UP!  TW says he will make that happen tonight.

Ant Graham leads the Ghouls down to the ring first and they are eventually followed by Axe, TNT and Brick.  The Ghouls attack at the behest of Graham.  This one was close with Axe tearing through his opponents but after Graham offered some encouraging words (and some foreign objects), the Ghouls battled back.  26 minutes in, Axe makes the hot tag to Brick and Mason makes the tag to Wolfman Keg.  Brick goes to the ropes twice but doesn’t do anything.  Wolfman Keg repeatedly kicked and stomped on Brick.  He then bit Brick and in all the confusion, Keg rolled Brick up and got the 1-2-3.  The Ghouls steal another win and they now advance to the finals also.  Can the Ghouls regain the belts they were stripped from?  I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

There is no break as Buzz Steel comes out and calls for the Unknown Assassin to get his unknown ass into the ring.  Dykes and UA come out and for once they opted not to wait for security.   The match started quickly and UA and Dykes were stunned with the ferocity that Buzz brought.  In fact, after 3 minutes, Dykes got really concerned.  Concerned enough to throw a fireball at Buzz.  Buzz backed away just in the nick of time to avoid getting blinded but the ref saw it all and disqualified UA.  Buzz will get the shot at the World title at the PPV.  UA still has his contract so he can redeem it…whenever.  Dykes and UA go to leave but in from the crowd runs Phat Sol.  Phat begins beating the tar out of UA causing him to run off.  The fans popped for Phat’s return.  (4 min for the match; 4 for the extra segment).

It’s time to crown 6 man champs.   First, “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE” blares and Graham leads his Ghouls down to the ring.  Talon McFrost, Wilber Townsend and Otto Ruthless follow shortly thereafter.  Wilber made sure to take Graham out early.  After that, Wilber and team had it easy against the Ghouls.  The 6 men battled hard with everyone hitting their specialty but no one was able to score a pin.  Mason accidentally bumped the ref but it only knocked the wind out of him.  Otto quickly slid a chair into the ring.  Finally, Wilber caught Mason and hit him with a scoop slam right on the chair.  Otto pulled the chair out just as the ref recovered.  He began to count 1…2….3.  Talon, Otto and Wilber are the NEW 6 Man tag team champs!  They celebrated briefly before getting attacked by the Ghouls.  It looks like the Ghouls will get another shot at the PPV.  (24 min).  All 6 men fought all the way to the back.

We go backstage where Starbuck is sitting with Buzz.  Buzz is being checked out but seems to be in the clear.  Buzz tells Starbuck they will always be brothers but now the most prestigious title in the world is on the line and he’s pulling no punches…he wants it and will do what he has to to win it.  Starbuck says he will also.  The brother shake hands.

We cut to another part backstage and Dykes is irate.  He’s calling for Phat Sol’s head on a platter.  UA stops him and says that he wants Phat at the PPV and since Phat likes to play with chairs, it will be a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match.  UA turns to Dykes and tells him to make it happen.

Before the main event, we go back to Master Bull’s office.  He says that the second person being inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame is none other than the Blonde Bombshell Southern Belle.

It’s time for the main event.  Scooter J comes out first and he is booed pretty heavily.  He gets into the ring and while flipping off the fans, he demands the Texas Wildfire make this a no countout match as he doesn’t want him running off to save his hide after SJ is done with him.  The music changes and the TV champion makes his way out and as he makes his way down to the ring, he yells that he accepts.  Once in the ring, he approaches Scooter J who bails out of the ring.  TW says that he will agree to this stipulation but if he beats him AGAIN, that is it…no more TV title shots from him while he holds the title.  Scooter J agrees but counters with an extended time limit.  TW agrees and we’re finally underway with this one.  Scooter J was on fire and he took the match to the champ hard.  TW was getting beat down but then SJ would showboat giving TW time to recover (what a maroon).  It didn’t help much as this was the best SJ has probably ever looked but his ego was his downfall.  After dropping TW with a superkick, he went to the turnbuckle to once again showboat to the fans.  This time though, he gave TW a few extra seconds and that is what he needed in order to hit the hangman’s clothesline and with a solid hook of the leg (not the tights), he got the 1-2-3.  In the comeback match of the night, Texas Wildfire retains the TV title.  Scooter J is pissed off and he storms off to the back leaving once again empty handed.

The show comes to an end with TW holding the title high and points to the overhead banner that is showcasing the Critical Mass PPV.  TW doesn’t have an opponent yet but I’m sure that will happen pretty quickly.

Here is a preview of the next show:

All King Rad has given us is:

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2018 #660 – Tacoma Thunder

Hello fans and welcome back to another installment of HCW’s Tacoma Thunder.  The show begins back in the office of (temporary) GM the Ragin Cajun King Rad Gumbo.  Gumbo is on the phone and is irate.  He slams the receiver down.  Queen Alexandria asks him what is wrong and responds that he has to cancel a match on tonight’s card.  “Which one?” she asks.  “That damn Master Bull denied the flight vouchers for Texas Wildfire and Scooter J not allowing them to be here for their match.”  He slams his fists on the desk.  Bull will rue the day he decided to mess with THIS Cajun!”

Niven and Tobias Snake walk into Gumbo’s office saying that Superquake stole the Hardcore title from Leiton and they are demanding a shot.  Rad says that since the two of them are here right now, the match will be a triple threat match for the title.

After a recap is shown from Elimination Chamber (Unknown Assassin winning the match and Gumbo himself defeating Buzz Steel (only Rad’s highspots were shown)), pyro goes off and our show is ready to begin.  We have today’s line up and it looks like this:

The first match kicks off with the annoying sound of “I’ve got some bad news for ya” blaring over the loudspeakers and out comes “Bad News” Marvin Barnes.  Barnes is booed all the way down to the ring.  He doesn’t care who he offends as he flips off the fans as he makes his way to the ring.  Once in the ring, the music changes and out comes Davis ‘the Hoff’ Hoffmeister.  The crowd pops HUGE for him and he makes his way down to the ring.  Barnes doesn’t care much for that so he attacks Davis upon his entering of the ring.  Davis managed to keep Barnes at bay and he looked like he was going to go on to dominate but then, in from the crowd came Mustang Sammy.  He waited for Barnes to get to his feet and then he whipped Davis into the ropes but Sammy pulled down the top rope and Davis flew out of the ring and crashed into the ringside barrier.  Barnes distracted the ref and Sammy (now joined by his manager Figgy Newton) put the boots to Davis.  He then took off through the crowd.  The ref turned around and began the count.  He got to 10 and Davis was slow in getting up.  The ref ends up counting Davis out and awards the match to Bad News via countout.  Barnes celebrates but then leaves the ring and grabs Davis and rolls him back in.  He sets him up in the corner and then goes to the other side of the ring.  He then rushes at Davis but Davis caught him and backdropped him right over the top rope and sent him crashing to the floor.  The fans pop as Davis stands tall in the ring and Barnes walks backwards up the ramp cursing at Davis.  Davis gets on the mic and he says that Mustang Sammy and Figgy have finally crossed that line.  Davis says he will put his career on the line in order to get Sammy in a match at Critical Mass once again.  He says that his career is worth more than a match so he says he wants Figgy in the ring if he wins.  He says he’ll wait for Sammy’s response.  (6 min for the match; 5 for the additional segment)

Back in his office, King Rad welcomes US Champion the Crocodile Hunter to his show.  Rad tells him that he will be defending his title against Billy Robbins.  Croc says ok and says he’s going to warm up but Gumbo tells him that the match is next so he needs to head down to the ring now.  Croc leaves and Gumbo laughs.

It’s time for the next match.  Billy Robbins comes out first to a mixed reaction from the crowd.  Next, the US Champion the Crocodile Hunter makes his way out and the fans pop huge for him.  He gets into the ring and the bell rings almost immediately.   Billy owned the champ as he had time to prepare and took the fight to the champ.  The longer the match went though, the better Croc became.  After 15 minutes of getting beat down, he began to fight back and then began beating Robbins down.  In the final minute of the match, Billy went for a flying bodypress but Croc ducked.  He then began laying in with some knife edge chops.  The bell rang and this one comes to a draw finish.  After the match, Billy and Croc shook hands much to the delight of the fans.  They both left at the same time.  (20 min draw)

Back in his office, King Rad is going over his contract for the World title match.  He notices that Bull made a change and that the contract can’t be redeemed until after the Critical Mass PPV.  He is not happy and just stews in his chair.

The next match is ready to begin and Figgy Newton comes out with Mustang Sammy.  The two of them are laughing about how they pulled one over on Davis.  The music changes and out comes Brick.  Brick gets a pop and Sammy and Figgy snicker as the fans cheer this schmuck.  Sammy attacks Brick and the match begins.  Sammy begins to go to work on the back of Brick but Brick kept fighting back.   The match spilled to the outside of the ring and Sammy ran Brick’s back into the steel post.  He rolled Brick back in.  Sammy then locked in the Handlebar (camel clutch) and Brick tapped out.  Mustang Sammy gets the win via submission.  Sammy takes a mic and tells Davis that they are accepting his challenge for the match at Critical Mass.   I guess we got our first match of the event locked in.  (7 min)

We go back again to the GM’s office and King Rad and Queen Alexandria are talking.  Gumbo acknowledges that the Ghouls were indeed stripped of the 6 man titles and a new tournament would be held to crown new champs.  Ghouls manager Ant Graham enters the office and complains about how Master Bull set him up for failure.  Gumbo agrees and says that in Phoenix, there will be an 8 team tournament to crown new 6 man champs.  He says that the Ghouls will be part of that.  Graham shakes the King’s hand and then leaves.  Gumbo is seen then wiping his hand on his shirt.

It’s time for some tag team action.  First, Muscles Thorpe and McGuire make their way out wearing the rainbow colored bull horns.  The fans pop for the comedic act.   Next, TNT and the Axe make their way out to a solid pop from the crowd.   After the first minute in the match, the Axe took a bump from the ring apron and he landed hard on the steel steps basically knocking himself out.  That left TNT to fend for himself.  The Muscles owned the match and after McGuire caught TNT with a cross bodyblock, he got the 1-2-3. The Muscles get the win.  After the match, they all went out of the ring to check on the Axe and they helped him to the back much to the approval from the fans.  (11 min)

Gumbo continues to monopolize the show and once again we’re back in his office.  He is with the Hardcore Champion Superquake Ferguson.  Gumbo tells him that a lot is riding on this match.  Ferguson tells the King that once he decimates these two nobodies, he wants Magnum Kone in the ring at Critical Mass.  Gumbo tells him that if he dominates the match tonight, he will get his wish.

The next match begins with the Duchess making her way out to the ring and she gets a mixed reaction from the crowd.  Next, Figgy Newton comes out (booed heavily) and he introduces Taylor Bella.  The two head down to the ring.  Figgy made his presence known throughout the match and the Duchess almost took his head off.  The interference kept the Duchess off her game.  Figgy began to verbally antagonize the Duchess and that allowed Taylor to hit a Sitout Facebuster and roll up the Duchess (with a handful of tights) for the 1-2-3.  Taylor Bella steals a win.  The Duchess isn’t happy and forcibly throws Taylor out of the ring.  She then challenges Taylor to a match at Critical Mass but says she wants Figgy banned from ringside.  Taylor and Figgy talk about it but they walk off before agreeing to the match.  (14 min)

We are back in King Rad’s office for what we hope is the last time tonight and he says he has a huge announcement to make.  He says that 2018 will have a Hall of Fame and the first person to be nominated was one of the most controversial wrestlers ever to lace up boots:  CJ!  CJ/#CJ/King CJ/Conan Jones is the first member of the class of 2018!

It’s time for our main event.  First, Niven and Tobias Snake come out first and get a mixed reaction from the crowd.  Next, the Hardcore Champion Superquake Ferguson comes out and the fans boo him heavily.  The falls count anywhere match started off with the Snake pit double teaming Superquake but he exploded from underneath the barrage and just decimated the Pit.  Superquake began to dismantle his opponents just utterly destroying them.  The combined might of the Pit could not stop the onslaught that followed.  Superquake would chokeslam one and hit the other with the Cutting Edge.  Superquake kept up the destruction until he felt he was done.  9 minutes I’m sure seemed like an eternity to the Pit.  Superquake picked up Niven Snake and chokeslammed him over the top rope to the floor below.  He then grabbed Tobias and hit him with 3 consecutive Cutting Edges.  Superquake finally made the cover and got the easy 3 count.  Superquake gets the devastating win over the pin in what seemed like a cakewalk for him.  Superquake stood in the ring holding his title high.  Just as the show was about to come to an end, familiar music hits and out comes “The King of Cones” Magnum Kone.  Kone power walks to the ring.  He gets into Superquake face and the two begin to slug it out.  Magnum goes toe to toe with the giant and with a huge super punch, he sends Superquake over the top rope but he lands on his feet.  Security runs down and steps in between the two.  Superquake begins going through security like a hot knife but enough people show up and separate them.  Magnum remains in the ring beckoning Superquake to return but he doesn’t.

The show comes to an end with Superquake calling for Magnum’s head.

Phoenix GM Master Bull has provided us with his lineup for Wednesday’s show:

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2018 #659 – Phoenix Heat – Elimination Chamber

Hello fans and welcome back to another installment of HCW’s Phoenix Heat.  Tonight, we bring you the very first ELIMINATION CHAMBER match in HCW history.  Pyro goes off and the fans in attendance explode in anticipation for tonight’s show.  GM Master Bull comes out and the fans get louder.  He makes his way down to the ring which is surrounded by the Elimination Chamber.  He gets on the mic thanking the fans for attending and he says that tonight’s show will be off the charts.  He is interrupted by none other than the GM from Tacoma King Rad Gumbo.  Gumbo makes his way down accompanied by Queen Alexandria to the ring and the fans boo the crap out of them.

Rad says he had to show up because tonight is a sham.  He tells Master Bull that the Ghouls cannot wrestle in the chamber tonight as they are NOT part of the Phoenix roster.  Rad says he will ruin Bull’s premiere show if he does not agree to THIS.  Queen Alexandria opens a briefcase and Rad takes something out of it.  He presents Bull with a piece of paper and Bull, after reading it, exclaims “That’s blackmail”.  Rad smiles and asks if Bull wants the show to continue or not.  Bull, outsmarted, snarls at Rad and signs it.  Rad then says that he graciously will allow his Tacoma team to participate in Bull’s little match.  He takes the piece of paper and he and his Queen walk away laughing.

Master Bull says that there was a hiccup in the show but now that Gumbo is gone, he can start on the show but first, he’s going to have a video run hyping up the show and how we got to this point.

A video airs showing Graham’s Ghouls and the story that led them to this point.  There are also recaps on how the Banker, the Unknown Assassin and Wilber Townsend on who they all defeated to get to this point.

Once the video ends, we head backstage where King Rad is usurping his authority pushing the Phoenix roster around.  He purposely bumps into Buzz Steel and berates him for being in “his zone”.  Buzz says Rad can’t do anything to him and pops him one.  Gumbo goes down and those watching begin to laugh.  Embarrassed, Rad storms off.

We head back to the ring and it’s time to get this thing underway.  First, Ant Graham comes out and introduces his Ghouls – Wolfman Keg, Mason the Mangler and finally “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE” Dr. Red Fang.  The fans boo as the 6 man tag team champs make their way down to the chamber.  As a reminder, the titles are not on the line but at least one member of the Ghouls needs to win or they will be stripped of the belts.  They take their time getting into the chamber and await their opponents.  Ant Graham is told he will not be at ringside and he starts to flip out.  Security comes out and removes him but instead of taking him from the ring, he is locked into a shark cage and hoisted up and off the side from the cage to prevent him from having any chance of interfering.

While that is going on, we head backstage again where King Rad storms into Master Bull’s office and demands a shot tonight against Buzz Steel.  Gumbo says he wants the “upstart” in the ring to teach him a lesson at any cost.  Bull says that the item he was required to sign – another shot at World Champion Starbuck Steel - can be the “carrot”.  Bull says that if Rad wins, he gets the title shot however, if Buzz wins, HE gets the shot.  Rad, outsmarted, reluctantly agrees.  I guess we have another match tonight added to the card.

We head back to the ring and Wilber Townsend comes out first followed by the Banker and his manager Ruth Heartless.  Finally, J C Dykes comes out and introduces the Unknown Assassin.  They wait impatiently as security comes out to line the ramp so that they can make it down to the chamber “safely”.   Dykes and Ruth Heartless take up different sides of the chamber to encourage their wrestlers on.

The action begins with all 6 men in the ring and they all begin to beat the snot out of each other.   The ref smartly stayed out of the way while the action fought all over the ring.  There were lots of high spots that the Banker, most of all, took advantage of.  After hitting a blind tag on Wilber, the Banker hits the Overdraft Uppercut on Mason and rolls him up for the 1-2-3.  The Banker scores the first pin and Mason is now out.  Exhausted, the Banker finds sanctuary and sits out the next part.  (19 min)

The next round begins with 2 of the Ghouls taking on the Unknown Assassin and Wilber Townsend.  This one actually saw blood flow from Wilber after getting launched into one of the unused pods.  Dr. Red Fang and Wolfman Keg took concentrated on Wilber as the Unknown Assassin really didn’t get involved.  Wilber began to fight back and actually injured Fang but Keg began to repeatedly kick and stomp on Wilber and then finally pulled his bloody carcass into the center of the ring and got the 3 count (again, UA just stood there).  Wilber has been eliminated.  (18 min)

The Banker rejoined the action but began to question why UA wasn’t doing more.  The Banker was going to begin the match but instead he forcibly tagged UA in and the Unknown Assassin began the match.  UA really opened a can of whoop ass and took on most of the action himself.  The Banker actually had to do a blind tag so he could get in on the action.  After about 5 minutes, UA tagged himself back in and tied Fang up in the cage links.  The Unknown Assassin then hit Wolfman Keg with a nerve pinch and ended up using that to score a pin.  Wolfman Keg has been eliminated.  (15 min)

Things pick up right where they left off but Fang was on the losing end of this.  The only thing going for him is that the Banker and Unknown Assassin decided they couldn’t work together and the two of them went at it also.  This was the longest fall of the event and Dr. Red Fang was hanging on for dear life.  Graham managed to somehow get Fang a foreign object that he used on the Unknown Assassin knocking him out.  The Banker was able to pick back up where he left off and after a solid 10 minutes of action, he hit Fang with the Tax Audit Turnbuckle Thrust and he made the cover and the ref counted 1…2…3.  The Banker scores the fall and with that, the Ghouls are stripped of the 6 man titles.   What’s left now is a title shot at any title they would want between the Unknown Assassin and the Banker.  The two meet in the middle of the ring for the last fall. (22 min).  Graham’s cage is lowered to the ground and he storms out of it heading to the back.

The Banker and the Unknown Assassin begins strong but just a few minutes in, you could tell they were both exhausted.  8 minutes in, the ref was standing in front of one of the pods and UA went to hit a spear on the Banker but he moved out of the way and UA hit the ref sending him crashing into one of the pods taking him out for 5 minutes.  With no ref to keep the action going, both men slowed down trying to catch their breath.  Finally, at the 13 minute mark, the ref got back up and we join the match at that point.

Also backstage is King Rad Gumbo and Queen Alexandria.  She tells Rad she won’t be allowed at ringside but he is ok with it as it is time to roll up the sleeves and show “tough love” to the peon Buzz Steel by teaching him what’s what.  Rad says he’ll beat the tar out of Buzz and then they can head back to their home back in Tacoma.

Our final match of the night kicks off with Buzz Steel making his way down to the ring to a huge pop from the crowd.  He entered the structure and waited for Gumbo to get his lazy ass down there.  Almost on cue, the Ragin Cajun-GM King Rad Gumbo comes out and the fans boo the crap out of him.  He ignores most of the people and flips off those who got under his skin.  Gumbo enters the ring and this one is ready to go.
