Hello wrestling
fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling
Newsletter. We start off the show with
an update on Duke Knight. He has been
medically cleared to return to the ring and we will see him in action at our
next show. ‘The Commando’ Zack Brown is
in action tonight. Stepping away from
the tag team scene, Kellyn ‘the Raven Archer’ Chrisari will be in singles
action. We will also see the rematch
between Jack Lumber and Mr. X. In our
main event, US Champion Wilber Townsend will defend his title against Saturn
Frost.
Match #1: The
Hubers vs The Dynamic Duo
The Dynamic Duo –
Chris Thompson and Mike Matthews come out to a nice pop from the crowd. They interact briefly with the fans before
getting into the ring. They continued to
get the crowd prepared when the music changed and out comes the Hubers. Butch and Ferb come out to boos from the
crowd. They ignore the fans and make
their way right to the ring. They enter
the squared circle and this one is off to the races.
The Duo stayed in
control for the majority of the match but no matter what they treid, they could
not secure the 3 count. Constant tagging
in and out from both sides kept the in-ring wrestler fresh. We join the match at the 26 minute mark.

After
30 minutes, the match is declared a draw.
The Duo were not
happy with a draw finish (they have one win with two draws since their debut)
but they still had an impressive showing and the fans seem to like them. Both teams eventually made their way to the
back.
Backstage, Col.
Flagg is cutting a promo and says that no matter what it takes, he will drive
Zack Brown out of the federation. He
will recruit half of the HCW roster if that is what must be done.
Match #2: Zack
Brown vs Jesse California.
Jesse California
comes out first to boos from the crowd.
He scoffs at them as he walks by.
He gets into the ring and paces impatiently. The music changes and the crowd pops as the
Commando makes his way to the stage. He
nods to the crowd and begins the walk to the ring. He shakes hands with the fans as he passes
by. He gets into the ring and wasting no
time, this one is ready to get underway.
The match remained
close for the first 9 minutes of the match with neither man controlling the
pace. We join the match now at the 10
minute mark.

Col. Flagg’s
interference has cost Zack his match. He
gets in the ring and stands over Zack gloating.
He turns to mock the fans and Zack gets to his feet. His eyes burn with rage. The fans pop.
Flagg can’t understand why they are reacting until he turns around and
sees the Commando staring at him. The
two men begin brawling and take it out of the ring, up the ramp and all the way
to the back.
Match #3:
Apollo Gyze vs Kellyn Chrisari
The Raven Archer
makes his way out first to a huge pop from the crowd. He high fives with the fans and gets into the
ring. As he is interacting with the
fans, his music abruptly stops and we hear “APOLLO GYZE DON’T APOLOGIZE” and
what were cheers turned to boos as Apollo sauntered out to the stage. He stood there taking it in and not reacting
which only enraged the fans more. He
smirks and heads down to the ring. He
tries to sneak attack Kellyn but his plan fails.

Apollo makes his way up the ramp mumbling and no doubt planning some
sort of revenge.
Match #4: Jack
Lumber vs Mr. X rematch
Mr. X comes out
first to massive booing from the crowd.
He randomly flips off the fans as he passes by and then gets into the
ring. He immediately begins pacing like
a caged animal. He leans over the ropes
pointing to his wrist like he has somewhere to be. Jack’s music hits and our favorite flannel
wearing lumberjack makes his way out as “TIMMMBERRRRR” echoes throughout the
arena. Jack gets a huge pop and makes
his way down to the ring but stops when he sees that the Lumber Lounge was empty. He is taken aback a bit by this but continues
on his way. He gets into the ring and
Mr. X immediately snatches the mic and FINALLY welcomes Jack to the ring. He begins lambasting him on how long he took
and took a couple of potshots that hit close to home. Jack could be seen starting to lose his
cool. Mr. X then reminds us that
tonight’s rematch is a no-DQ match so Jack can’t run away when he’s losing too
badly. The bell rings and this one
begins.

Mr. X complains
that Jack kicked him below the belt and that he needs to be disqualified (it’s
a no DQ match dumbass). The ref ignores
him and raises Jack’s arm as the victor.
Jack begins celebrating but it is short lived as Mr. X rolled out of the
ring and grabbed a steel chair. He gets
back in and BLASTS Jack across the back not once, not twice but three
times. Jack tries to get to his feet and
Mr. X hits him in the head with the chair drawing blood. Mr. X then dragged Jack to the corner and
propped the chair up against Jack’s torso and face. Mr. X went to the other side of the ring and
rushed over and ran into the chair with Jack took the full force of. Mr. X is immediately overwhelmed by refs and
got him out of there. Jack laid there
bleeding profusely. Medics were on the
scene immediately and got him loaded up and out of there. We hope he will be ok.
Match #5: The
Main Event: Wilber Townsend vs Wildman Saturn Frost for the US Title.
‘The Wildman’
Saturn Frost makes his way out first to a nice reaction from the crowd. Once in the ring, the music became something
more sinister and the lights dimmed. The
US Champion Wilber Townsend is shown sitting in a rocking chair on the
stage. The spotlight starts off small
and begins to expand. As the stage gets
lit up (the main lights are still dimmed), pyro goes off all around
Wilber. The lights come back on and the
US Champion begins to make his way to the ring.
He climbs in and walks up to Saturn and says ‘HOWDY DOODY”. He hands
over his title, laughs a bit and this one begins.

enjoying every minute of it. With that,
the show comes to an end.
