HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2019 #752 – Phoenix Heat (02/27)

Hello fans and welcome to another installment of HCW’s show Phoenix Heat.  There is a lot on tonight’s plate:  Texas Wildfire gets his automatic rematch against the Banker.  The Banker stole the match and the belt (paid off the ref) so GM Master Bull decreed that he gets that match tonight.  Also, forensic investigator Gardinia Blue announces who it was who made the threatening comments towards the Phoenix GM (Bull has his fingers crossed its Apollo). Also making an appearance for his coronation will be the new ‘Red Hot’ King Lucas Johnston.   We will also have an update on the Mexicali Flyers after the vicious attack by Angry Jack Lawson and Mean Jack Mason at the PPV.  Lastly, tonight, we have the debut of two new ladies wrestlers - Tempest Fortune and Sassy Maxine Devito.

Our show kicks off backstage when in walks the new King ‘Red Hot’ Lucas Johnston.  The fans pop as he makes his way backstage.  He then runs into one half of the World Tag Team Champions Scooter J.  SJ congratulations Lucas on the win and extends his hand.  Lucas is wary but takes the offered hand. As SJ turns to leave, he stops himself and reaches into his back pocket.  He pulled out an envelope and hands it to Lucas. SJ walked off.  Lucas makes to rip it in half, but opens it instead.  He pulls a letter out and reads it. Looking back in the direction SJ went, Lucas chuckles.

The letter is an invitation to a cook out. It is at Scooters place.  It will be SJ and his wife along with TNT and his girl. Lucas can bring a guest if he wants.

Pyro goes off and our first match of the evening kicks off.  Felicia Cummings makes her way out first accompanied by her twin Betsy.  The two ladies make their way down to the ring to booing from the crowd.  Once they made it to the ring, they began blasting the fans and then the music changed and out comes one of our newest hires Tempest Fortune.  She gets a nice pop from the crowd and takes time to shake hands as she makes her way down to the ring.  The Cummings Twins start laughing and mocking Tempest who does her best to ignore them.  The ref then sends Betsy to the back which elicited a pop from the crowd.  Betsy stormed to the back.  Felicia attacked her before the bell giving her a small lead but then Tempest, with the crowd solidly behind her, began taking the match to Felicia and totally ended up owning her.  Tempest would dominate the match and hit multiple high spots but she could not keep the crafty veteran down.  Felicia would use the ropes as well as exiting the ring to her advantage to keep from being totally owned.  Felicia did manage to hold on just long enough for the match to go to the 30 minute time limit.  As soon as the bell rang bringing this one to a draw finish, Felicia took off not wanting any more of Ms. Tempest Fortune.  The fans popped and Tempest stayed behind interacting with the fans before heading to the back.  (30 min draw)

We go backstage and see ‘The Singapore Sensation’ Matt Preacher.  Preacher comments that he has just signed to contract two individuals who have to finish their prior commitments but says that the world will be turned on its ear when they are revealed.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  First, Bob ‘Powder’ Keg makes his way out to a small pop from the crowd.  As soon as he entered the ring, we hear an annoying screech exit the speakers:  “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE” and out comes everyone’s least favorite vampire bot Dr. Red Fang.  Fang is booed as he makes his way down to the ring.  He growls and snarls at the fans as he passes by.  He entered the ring and attacked Bob but Bob was prepared.  The two went toe to toe for about 10 minutes but it wasn’t until Fang hit a Vampire Lunge that things began going his way.   Fang began hitting all kinds of moves trying to wear Bob down.  At the 17 minute mark, Fang dropkicked Bob out of the ring and Bob crashed into the ringside barrier.  Fang went out to retrieve him and threw him back in.  He went for a pin but only got a 2 count.  He then set up and executed a Transylvania piledriver.  Bob was out.  Fang made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Dr. Red Fang gets the win much to the dismay of the fans.  The ref tried to raise Fang’s arm in victory and almost got bit for it.  Fang growled and snarled some more before leaving.  (18 min)

Backstage, Ravishing Raquel walks over to Hayley Hailstorm and says that she wants to apologize (unlike Apollo) and says she wants to replace the trophy she broke.  She hands Hayley a new trophy.  Hayley is ecstatic.  She gives Raquel a hug and then takes her trophy back to her dressing room.

And we’re back at ringside for our next matchup.  The other Cummings twin Betsy comes out for this match.  She, like her sister before, is booed and she mocks the fans as she makes her way to the ring. She doesn’t get much lambasting in before the music changed and out comes out other new hire Sassy Maxine DeVito.  Maxine gets a nice pop from the crowd and she high fives a few of the fans before making her way down into the ring.   Betsy goes right on the offensive but Maxine goes toe to toe with her.  Twice during the match, Felicia would poke her head out from the crowd and get involved in the match.  Maxine, to her credit, was able to continue to roll with the illegal activity.  Betsy did try to go for many pin attempts by grabbing a hold of the tights but Maxine kept kicking out.  Finally, Maxine had had enough and after hitting a hair pull snapmare, she rolled Betsy up and (taking a page out of her opponent’s handbook) grabbed a handful of tights which allowed her to get the 3 count.  Maxine DeVito is victorious in her debut match.  Betsy tried to complain but the ref ignored her.  Maxine left to a pop from the crowd.  Betsy followed shortly thereafter.  (21 min)

As we head backstage, we are treated to a promo from Angry Jack Lawson and Mean Jack Mason.  Mean Jack says “Mexicali Flyers, we are done with you.  You’re the entertainment of a ball in a cup”.  Angry Jack says “yeah, a specimen cup”.  Mean Jack continues: “Scooter J and TNT, all wait and no title shots makes us mean boys.  You better watch out.”

We head back to the ring for the next match.  First, the lights go dim and a single lantern lights up the stage.  Wilber Townsend is sitting there in his rocking chair.  He gets up and makes his way to the ring.  The fans mock him and he just laughs his maniacal laugh.  He gets into the ring and the lights slowly come up.  The music changes and we hear the all-to-familiar ring of a bell and out comes the ‘King of Cones’ Magnum Kone.  The fans pop as HCW’s resident ice cream distributor comes out and gives treats to the kids at ringside.  Once he was done, he made his way to enter the ring but stopped when he saw Wilber holding the ropes open for him.  Magnum reluctantly entered the ring and surprisingly, Wilber backed off.  The match began and Magnum controlled the entire pace of the match going for 2 pin attempts before 6 minutes had passed.  Magnum then scoop slammed Wilber but Wilber ran Magnum into the ringpost.  He went for a pin getting a 1 count.  A couple of minutes later, Wilber went to ram Magnum into the ringpost but Magnum reversed it and hit Wilber with the Firecracker.  Magnum hits the Choco Taco and slams Wilber to the mat.  He goes for the pin but only gets a 2 count.  Wilber gets up and connects with a lifting sideslam out of nowhere and he makes the cover and gets his feet on the ropes for leverage and gets the 3 count.  Wilber Townsend has stolen the win tonight but he laughs uncontrollably and smiles evilly as he leaves the ring.  (13 min)

We get an update from Master Bull.  He tells us that the Mexicali Flyers – El Dragon Insano and Tornado en Fuego are still in the hospital.  He says the good news is that they will be heading home this weekend and will make an appearance in Tacoma this Sunday.  The fans pop for the good news.

We also see former World Champion Texas Wildfire make his way in.  He is all business as he makes his way to his dressing room.  Before entering his room, he says that tonight, he regains what was stolen from him 3 days ago.  Tonight, the World title comes back to him.

The World Champion the Banker is backstage with his manager Ruth Heartless.  The Banker calls this all a sham and calls Wildfire a big crybaby.  Ruth says that she will do whatever it takes to ensure that the Banker is not robbed of something he so rightfully deserves.  They walk off heading to the ring.

We head back to the ring for the next match.  First, music hits and the fans pop as the Steel Curtain (Starbuck and Buzz Steel) come out and the fans are on their feet.  The fan favorites high five the fans and then rush down to the ring and slide under the ropes.  They begin to get the fans psyched up and their music is abruptly cut off and out comes Angry Jack Lawson and Mean Jack Mason.  The fans boo as the two bullies make their way down to the ring. They enter the ring and make like they’re going to attack but then back off and laugh.  The bell rings and this one is off.  The Steel Curtain managed to get the upper hand for most of the match even though the Jacks spent a lot of time double teaming in the ring.  The fight went on for a full 20 minutes and ended in a draw.  The final minute of the match saw all 4 men in the ring.  First, Mean Jack choked Starbuck with his boot.  Angry Jack then hit Buzz with a chokeslam.  Starbuck caught Angry Jack with a small package with a blatant handful of tights and Buzz recovered enough to catch Mean Jack with a German Suplex.  The Jacks left the ring and began to make their way to the back when Superquake Ferguson and Maximillian Redbeard come out to cut them off.  The Jacks began to backpedal and get cut off by the Steel Curtain.  They choose to not engage as they will only do it on their own terms so they take the long way around never taking their eyes off of Redbeard and Ferguson.  (20 min draw)

It is time for the coronation of the new King.  First, GM’s Max ‘McGillicutty and Master Bull make their way out to a pop from the crowd.  Bull announces that tonight, we will crown the new King officially.   Max pulls out the robe and crown from its garment bag.  Music hits and out comes ‘Red Hot’ Lucas Johnston.  The fans pop as the new King makes his way down to the ring.  Max introduces the world to HCW’s newest King…King Lucas Johnston.  Fans begin holding up signs that read “RHLJ4L” (Red Hot Lucas Johnston for life).  Lucas waves to the fans.  Max drapes the cape over Lucas’ shoulders.  Master Bull puts the crown on Lucas’ head and hands him the scepter.   The GM’s then leave allowing Lucas to enjoy his time.  As soon as the GM’s had left, there was a commotion in the crowd and into the ring snuck ‘Big Money’ Ned Rhyerson III.  Ned attacked Lucas while his back was turned and ended up locking him up with the Million Dollar Dream.  With Lucas unconscious, Ned drops him and then stands over him gloating.  He eventually leaves the ring.  Lucas is revived and helped to the back.

It is time for our main event which is a rematch for the World Title.  First, the challenger, the former champion Texas Wildfire comes out to a huge pop from the crowd.  Wildfire smiles at the warm reception from the fans and makes his way down to the ring.  He removes his jacket and is ready for action.  Next, the World Champion the Banker and his manager Ruth Heartless come out to booing from the crowd.  They begin the walk to the ring and the Banker sees a sign that reads “The Banker is a cheat” and he grabs it from the fan and tears it to pieces.  He climbs into the ring and holds the title high.  He turns and holds it in Wildfire’s face gloating.  He hands it to the ref and makes the mistake of turning his back on the former champ and Wildfire goes right after him.  Wildfire basically pummeled the champ beating him from corner to corner.  Ruth, however, was there to help “right things” for her man.  At the 13 minute mark, Wildfire dropped the Banker with a leaping DDT.  The ref went to check on the Banker and Ruth got up on the apron.  Wildfire went to confront her but when he got close, she grabbed the briefcase and smashed it into his ribs and midsection.  She dropped off the apron.  Wildfire dropped to the mat gasping for air.  The Banker got to his feet and hit the Repossession Rib Buster.  He made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  The Banker steals another win and gains the first victory of his title run.  He takes his title from the ref and he and Ruth head to the back.  The ref ends up helping Wildfire to the back. (14 min)

Gardinia Blue comes out saying she is going to reveal who the person is who made the threats to Master Bull.  She calls the GM out.  Bull comes out with some Phoenix Police officers.  Just as Gardinia is going to make the announcement, they are interrupted.

Reid Rothchild and Ravishing Raquel show up and make one last plea to Master Bull.  He says he can’t do anything.  Reid then announces that it was HIM who wanted to take Bull out.  Bull says “How could you?  After all I’ve done for you”.  Reid retaliates saying that Bull didn’t’ do anything and thinks Bull has lost his edge and became soft and when he was forced to wrestle in Tacoma, Bull made no attempt to bring him back down so he got was he deserved.  Bull calls for him to be arrested but Gardinia steps in and says no, it wasn’t him.   Reid and Raquel then leave.  Bull stops for a moment and his eyes go all wide and then exclaims “I KNEW IT…IT IS APOLLO!”  She shakes her head no.   She did say the person is on the HCW roster however hasn’t been seen or heard from in quite some time.  In fact, this person hasn’t been on HCW TV in a long time.  It was thought that this person’s contract had been properly terminated but something fell through the cracks and this person has been on the roster but not payroll.  She says that by not releasing this person from their contract, he’s been unable to get a job in wrestling and holds Master Bull 100% responsible.   Gardinia holds up the person’s contract and tears it up.  She says that the person is now free to go with the apologies from HCW.  Bull demands to know who it was.  Gardinia asks if they really need to reveal that now knowing it came because of an HCW error.  Bull demands again.  She dismisses the officers.  It is finally revealed that this person wanted to punish Bull for what he did to him.  She reveals the person to be…Pete Punsher – aka the PUN-isher.  Bull is flabbergasted.

Pete Punsher comes out and verbally blasts Master Bull for doing this to him and forcing him to beg on the street for food.  Pete says that he did try to call Master Bull (and HR) multiple times but his calls were never answered.  Free from his HCW contract, he holds up a new one and says that he has a new opportunity and he is going to follow Emmett Millbarge and Cushman Armitage to their new federation.  He gives Master Bull the birds and then leaves but before he’s totally gone, he drops a couple of puns.

1.  Why did the can crusher quit his job?  Because it was Soda-pressing.

2.  What did E.T.s mother say to him when he got home?  “Where on earth have you been?”

3.  What do you call the security outside of a Samsung store?  The Guardians of the Galaxy.

Pete turns and finally leaves.  Just as he begins to make his way to the back, we hear Bull mutter “Damn, I wish it was Apollo”.

Thanks for reading.  Action continues on Sunday in Tacoma.  Stay tuned.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2019 #751 – Reigning Royalty PPV (02/24)

Hello fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter.  Tonight, live in Tacoma, WA, we are hosting the Reigning Royalty PPV.  The line has been outside the building for hours before the doors opened and fans flooded not only to their seats but swarmed the merchandise stands.  The one wrestler whose merchandise sold out first was the Wicked Prophet followed by Hayley Hailstorm, World champion Texas Wildfire and Drew the Canadian Love Machine. Once the majority of the fans got settled in, pyro went off kicking off our first PPV of the year.  Coming out first are the two GM’s Max McGillicutty and Master Bull.  Both men thank the fans for attending and promise a show that will blow everyone’s socks off.  Master Bull adds in that he is not letting anything get him down today.  This show will set the pace for the whole year in terms of PPV’s trying to outdo each other.  Max reminds us that there are going to be some teams and individuals potentially headed to retirement.  The Mexicali Flyers, Reid Rothchild, Drew the Canadian Love Machine, Ravishing Raquel and Hardcore Hensen all need to win or face the unemployment line.  Bull says that quite a few titles will be on the line tonight - The World Tag team, Hardcore, Ladies and World Championships will all be defended.  Max adds that there will also some grudge matches with the Mexicali Flyers facing the team of Angry Jack Lawson and Mean Jack Mason; Reid vs Drew and the Wicked Prophet vs Jacques Beannot.  Bull adds one final thing and it is what contributes to the PPV name – the defense of the crown – King Rad Gumbo takes on ‘Red Hot’ Lucas Johnston.  Will Gumbo retain and hold the crown for another year or will 2019 be a ‘Red Hot’ year?  Our main event tonight will tell.  Max and Bull then leave and our show is ready to begin.

Pyro goes off and our show is about ready to begin.  First, the Mexicali Flyers (El Dragon Insano & Tornado en Fuego) come out and the fans pop huge for them.  They high five with the fans and make their way down to the ring.  They immediately begin pulling out combinations of tables, ladders and chairs for this match.  Next, the music changed and out comes Angry Jack Lawson and Mean Jack Mason.  The Jack’s jawjack with the fans and yell that they will break and end the Flyers tonight.  They get into the ring and are immediately joined by the Flyers.  The four immediately go at it slugging away at each other.  It took a few moments for the ref to get the match under control and then things took off.  There is only one word to describe this match…INSANE.  These two teams actually fought for a whopping 2 HOURS!  It was never ending and after watching all 4 men go through tables, take falls from ladders and beat each other senseless with chairs, the ref decided that this one was not going to end so he called the match.  The fans, as well as the wresters, were spent and all 4 men were out on their feet.  The final move before the ref called it was Angry Jack leaping off a ladder hitting a leg drop on both El Dragon and Tornado.  Medics came from the back and began loading each person up on to their own gurney.  As they got to the top of the ramp, both Angry Jack and Mean Jack got off their gurneys and they took El Dragon and Tornado off theirs and then took them to the edge of the stage and then POWERBOMED each of them from the stage through tables below.  HOLY SHIT chants filled the arena and after that, they limped to the back.  Medics rushed below the stage and immediately got the Flyers loaded up and taken right to the hospital.

We head backstage and Jacques Beannot and his manager ‘the Singapore Sensation’ Matt Preacher are being interviewed by Clarkus Kentus.  Clarkus reminds Jacques (after he let Jacques ramble on for too long) that Preacher will not be allowed at ringside for the match against the Wicked Prophet and he about lost his mind.  Jacques grabbed Clarkus by the shirt and began shaking him but Preacher got him to let the poor guy go.  Preacher said he has a plan and that things are under control.  Jacques drops Clarkus and walks off.

Also backstage, the Wicked Prophet is with Larry Morton.  Prophet says that Jacques is a loose cannon as we just saw and this has to end.  WP says that tonight, Jacques’ reign of terror ends tonight.  The Wicked Prophet heads to the ring.

Our next match is ready go to.  First, Jacques Beannot comes out with his manager ‘The Singapore Sensation’ Matt Preacher.  They stop on the stage and we hear Preacher tell Jacques “Just get him to 10 minutes and I’ll have it taken care of.”  Jacques nods and makes his way down to the ring.  The fans boo him as he tries to showboat.  He gets frustrated and flips them off.  The Wicked Prophet comes out and the fans pop for him.  This will be a “Falls count anywhere” match an Jacques rushes out and attacks the Prophet.  The two whip each other into the ringside barriers trying to inflict as much damage as they can.  All of the action takes place out of the ring.  WP manages to hit Jacques with the Devil’s Snare.   Prophet hits it again but Jacques catches him with a flying bodypress.  He went for a quick pin but WP kicked out.  Prophet hits the Prop 8 and Jacques locks him up with the Spreadsheet but Prophet wont’ quit.   Prophet picks up Jacques and hurls him into the 3rd row.  Jacques then grabs a table and sets it up.  As Prophet approached, Jacques launched with another flying bodypress going for another pin but not getting it.  Beannot picked up WP and brought him up on the table.  He then called for the Spreadsheet but Prophet powered out of it and locked in the Crucifix Clutch.  The table then collapsed with Jacques taking the brunt of the crunch.  Prophet kept the Clutch locked in and Beannot ends up tapping out.  The Wicked Prophet gets the win in a 5 minute match (I guess Preacher’s surprise wasn’t ready yet.  The fans pop as the ref raises Prophet’s hand in victory.  WP makes his way to the ring and soaks in the pop from the crowd and then eventually makes his way to the back.

Backstage, Larry Morton is with ‘the Elitist’ Reid Rothchild.  Reid says that this is going to be short and sweet…he is ending Drew tonight.  He then walks away.

Also backstage, Drew the Canadian Love Machine is with Clarkus Kentus.  Drew says that Reid is like a snake…dangerous when cornered but tonight, with the fans on his side, he will send Reid home for good.

Our next match is ready to go.  First, music hits and the fans pop HUGE for Drew the Canadian Love Machine.  Drew shakes hands with the fans as he makes his way to the ring.  He gets in and climbs the turnbuckles psyching the crowd up more and more.  His music is cut off and then his opponent ‘the Elitist’ Reid Rothchild comes out and the fans boo the crap out of him.  He makes his way to the ring with a smug look on his face.  The rules for this one are ‘Lights Out’ which means one person is unable to make it to their feet for a 10 count.  Reid hits the ring and he and Drew begin slugging it out.  Drew starts off with a corkscrew pescado and tries for an early pin but only gets a 1 count.  Reid comes back and hits a Reid-a-rooni (spinarooni).  Reid follows it up with a Reid Bottom (Rock Bottom) but Drew hits another corkscrew pescado.  He goes for the pin again but only gets a 2 count.  Reid goes for the Reid Bottom again but Drew nullifies it.  Drew goes for a corkscrew pescado but Reid nullifies it.  Both men exit the ring and grab chairs.  They comes back in and swing at the same time knocking each other down.  The ref begins to count and Drew makes it to his feet first.  As the count got closer to 10, Reid, wobbily legged, stumbled and fell back down.  The ref counted to 10 and declared Reid out on his feet and awarded the match to Drew the Canadian Love Machine.  The fans popped huge and Drew soaked it in.  Reid rolled out of the ring and was helped to the back by a cameraman.  It looks like Reid’s time here in HCW is over.  The fans began a “na, na, na, na…na, na, na, na…hey, hey, hey…goodbye” chant and Reid turned, looked to the fans and gave them double birds.  He turned and left.  Drew celebrated with the fans before leaving on his own.  (5 ½ min)

We head backstage and are with the World Tag Team Champions TNT and Scooter J.  SJ says that he’s ready for this match and is looking forward to taking on a former world champion.  TNT says that they are the superior team and will be victorious tonight.

Also backstage, we see and hear Jacques Beannot complaining about the loss to his manager.  “This is 100% pure grade crap.  I got screwed in that match and no one is willing to do a damn thing about it. You know what, I don’t need to put up with this garbage.  I QUIT!  You hear me general managers…I QUIT.”  He grabs his bag and starts for the outside door.  His manager Matt Preacher pleads for him not to make a hasty decision.  Jacques turns his back to Preacher not wanting to hear any more.  Just then, Protocide walks over and shoves Jacques out the door and closes it on him.  He turns and looks at Preacher and then walks off.

Our next match is ready to begin.  First, the Axe and Superstar Chic Monroe come out to a pop from the crowd.  Next, the World Tag Team Champions TNT and Scooter J come out to a nice pop from the fans.  They make their way down to the ring and after climbing the turnbuckles holding their titles high, they hand them to the ref and shake hands with their opponents.  Once the bell rang, the Axe and Chic went to town with constant double teams trying to wear down each of the champs.  It wasn’t until about 10 minutes in that the champs actually started making a comeback.  It wasn’t until the 15 minute mark that the champs went for their first pin attempt with Scooter J connecting with a superkick but he only got a 1 count.  21 minutes in, Axe connects with a forearm uppercut but TNT hits a powerbomb.  He makes the cover but Chic manages to make the save.   TNT picks up the Axe and does a press lift and slam.  TNT calls for another powerbomb and makes the cover again only for Chic to make another save.  Axe goes for another uppercut but TNT reverses it and hits a jaw jacker.  He goes for the pin again and once again, Chic makes the save.  TNT then whips Axe to the ropes but he hit Chic who got thrown from the apron and then hit a power uppercut that rattles most of the Axe’s teeth.  TNT makes the cover again and this time gets the 1-2-3.  Scooter J and TNT win the match and retain their belts in what was a hard fought match. At first, there appeared to be some animosity between the two teams but eventually they all shook hands.  Axe and Chic left allowing the champs to take it all in.  (25 min)

We go backstage where Hardcore Hensen and his manager ‘the Singapore Sensation’ Matt Preacher are being interviewed.  Hensen says that the cage is there to prevent Apollo from running away like the scared little girl he is.  Tonight, he wins the Hardcore title back.  Clarkus Kentus asks “But if you don’t, you’re out of HCW”.  Hensen says that tonight is his night and nothing will stop him from taking Apollo out.

Larry Morton is also backstage and he is with the Hardcore Champion Apollo Gyze.  Apollo says he’s heard the crap coming out of Hensen’s mouth and says he needs some boots as it’s already pretty deep.  When asked about the cage, Apollo says that it’s to keep out that funky monkey Matt Preacher.  Apollo says that when he is declared the winner and Hensen is out of a job, he will not be apologizing to anyone.

The Steel cage has been constructed and our next match is ready to begin.  First, the challenger Hardcore Hensen comes out to booing from the crowd.  He makes his way down to the ring and enters the cage.  Next, we hear “APOLLO GYZE DON’T APOLOGIZE” and out comes the Hardcore Champion.  Apollo is booed just as heavily as Hensen was.  He doesn’t seem to care.  Hensen is in the ring pacing like a caged animal and as Apollo started to enter the cage, Hensen lunged at him and Apollo dropped to the floor.  Hensen  stood there laughing and you could tell Apollo was turning red.  He entered the ring finally and as soon as the cage door was closed, the bell rang.   Hensen starts off with a hard bodyslam but Apollo hits an enzuigiri.  Hensen was stunned briefly but it was all that was needed for Apollo to pull out handcuffs and cuff his opponent’s hands together which allowed him the upper hand for 10 solid minutes.  Apollo powerslammed Hensen into the cage and went for a pin but it was sloppy and Hensen got his foot on the rope.  He then rolled over to the edge and Preacher was there with come bolt cutters and cut the cuffs.  Hensen then went for a kneelift to the jaw but Apollo reversed it hitting Hensen with 3 powerbombs.  Hensen got up and picked up Apollo and was going to try and powerslam him into the cage but Apollo nullified it.   Apollo choked Hensen between the ropes and cage and then went for a pin but only got a 1 count.  Apollo kept the pressure on hitting a delayed vertical suplex.  He went for the pin again but only got a 2 count.  Just then, Protocide came out and made his way to ringside.  He threw in a chain to Apollo who used it to wrap Hensen up in.  Apollo hit an enzuigiri and then a jumping clothesline.  He went for the cover and this time, he got the 3 count but now he needed to make it out of the cage.  He began scaling the wall but then Hensen grabbed his foot.  On the outside, Protocide removed his mask and suddenly Hensen let go of Apollo’s foot as he was flabbergasted by who was standing there.  It was none other than NIX ANDERSON!  Anderson smiled and waved at Hensen while Apollo made his way over the top of the cage and down to the floor.  Apollo Gyze gets the win and retains his title and just like that, Hardcore Hensen is out of HCW.  Hensen, pissed off, kicks the door open and leaves.  Preacher ran after him but it looks like another one bites the dust.  With Hensen and Beannot both gone now, what does that mean for Matt Preacher?  (17 min)

We go backstage once again and we are with the Banker and his manager Ruth Heartless.  The Banker is holding his dented and bloodied briefcase.  The Banker tells us that this (the briefcase) is only a portion of what he will do to Texas Wildfire and one more time, he’ll leave him bloodied, beaten and without a title.  Ruth says you can take that to the bank.

Larry Morton is with the World Champion Texas Wildfire.  TW says that the Banker is one shrewd desk clerk.  Yes, that is right.  The Banker is only a desk clerk and no offense to anyone who does that for a career, the Banker thinks he’s more important than he really is and tonight, he’ll send the Banker back behind his teller screen.

It is time for our World Title match.  First, the Banker comes out with his manager Ruth Heartless and they are booed.  The Banker holds up the briefcase like a prized trophy and struts down to the ring.  He climbs into the ring and holds the dented and bloodied briefcase over his head.  His strutting comes to an end when the music changed and the World Champion Texas Wildfire comes out to a huge pop from the crowd.  He shakes hands with a few fans but is all business and makes his way to the ring.  He slides under the ropes and the Banker bails.  Texas Wildfire glares at him and the Banker takes his time but eventually gets back in the ring.  This is a Street Fight, pure and simple.  The two foes go at it once the bell rang.  The Banker goes for the Foreclosure Frankensteiner but TW nullifies it.  TW then locks in a standing armbar.  Wildfire puts the Banker on the top rope and then executes a superplex.  As both men came crashing down to the mat, the Banker locks in the ATM Fee armbar.  The ref immediately calls for the bell saying that the champ submitted (it was clear he did not).  The ref then announces that the Banker is the winner of the match and the NEW WORLD CHAMPION!  The Banker holds the title high while Ruth tries to discretely hand the ref something.  His celebration is cut short when GM’s Max McGillicutty and Master Bull come out.  Max immediately fires the ref stating he was on the take.  Bull says that since a miscarriage of justice just occurred, TW gets his automatic rematch in Phoenix on Wednesday.  The Banker is not happy but takes his title and he and Ruth leave.  Wildfire is left behind in the ring, cheated but he will get his rematch!  (3 min)

Backstage, challenger Ravishing Raquel says that tonight, she gets her title back or she retires.  She says to not count her husband out.  He’s been forced into retirement once before so he will bounce back.  She has no plans on retiring tonight but will take the title for an unprecedented 10th time (or something like that).

Clarkus Kentus is with Ladies Champion Ruby Rose.  Ruby says that tonight, one chapter comes to an end but another continues.  She acknowledges all the accomplishments that Raquel has done in the last 5 years but now is her time.

It’s time for our Ladies Championship match.  First, Ravishing Raquel comes out to a nice pop from the crowd.  She is not accompanied by the Ambassador.  She wants to win or lose this on her own.  She gets in the ring and the crowd cheers as she pumps her fist into the air.  Next, the music changes and out comes the Ladies Champion Ruby Rose.  The fans pop as Ruby comes out and makes her way down to the ring.  She enters and then climbs the turnbuckles holding her title high over her head.  She does the same thing in the other three corners before handing the ref her title.  To say that the champion dominated tonight would be an understatement.  In the 12 minutes this went on, Raquel got in 4 moves.  The rest was all Ruby.  Ruby wore Raquel down with one exploder suplex after the other. After hitting a pendulum backbreaker, Ruby motioned to Raquel to get up and Ruby unleased a final exploder suplex and that was it.  Ruby made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Ruby Rose gets the dominant win and retains her title.  The fans pop huge for her.  She goes over and helps Raquel to her feet.  The two stare at each other before exchanging a hug.  Raquel then leaves to “Thank you Raquel” chants from the crowd.  Raquel makes her way up the ramp, turns and waves to the crowd and then leaves.  Ladies Champion Ruby Rose celebrates with the fans before departing minutes later.  (12 min)

We go backstage one last time.  First, Clarkus Kentus is with ‘Red Hot’ Lucas Johnston.  Clarkus mentions that Lucas had a shot at the crowd a couple of years back but between Wilber Townsend and Rad Gumbo, Lucas got the short end of the stick. “Yeah, you can say that I’ve been biding my time and now, it’s finally here.  Not only did I get a trophy for winning a huge battle royal, I won the rumble to determine royalty and now, I get my shot at the crown.  Gumbo, you’ve held the crown for a year.  Move aside, it’s time for a real King the people can be proud of.”

We then cut to Larry Morton who is with ‘the Ragin Cajun’ King Rad Gumbo.  Gumbo snorts in derision after listing to Lucas.  “This chump knows nothing.  He thinks he is at my level but I will tell you, he is not.  My crown is staying where it is.  Nothing changes mon ami…nothing changes.”

It is time for our main event.  The crown and title of King of HCW is on the line tonight as reigning King Rad Gumbo defends the crown against ‘Red Hot’ Lucas Johnston.  Lucas has been waiting for this moment for a long time.  First, we hear music play and Lucas makes his way out to a pop from the crowd.  He makes his way to the ring shaking hands with the fans.  As soon as he gets in the ring, his music abruptly ends and we hear “GUMBO 7:30 MEANS ITS SUPPA TIME, BITCH!” and making his way out accompanied by Queen Alexandria is King Rad Gumbo.  Gumbo comes out wearing his crown, cape and carrying his scepter.  His queen accompanies him down to the ring as the fans boo as they pass.  Gumbo gets on the mic once in the ring and tells all the fat, overweight pigs to sit down and listen as their King addresses them.  The fans got so loud and rowdy that they wouldn’t let him get a word in.  Rad finally gave up and the match began.
