Hello fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. The show begins with GM Max McGillicutty announcing that they were planning to take a brief hiatus after tonight and then will return with a tribute show in honor of the 30th Anniversary of the PWS game however, it seems they were able to lock in a venue and now will have the House of Horrors PPV on Halloween. Max says that in regards to PWS, the game revolutionized fantasy wrestling all over the world and was instrumental in the creation of the HWF, CSWA and HCW leagues.
Max goes on to
announce that for this special event, which now will be two days, 11/5 and
11/6, multiple HCW Hall of Famers are coming out of retirement. Two in particular, Texas Wildfire, (the
brains behind PWS) and ‘the Ragin Cajun’ Rad Gumbo will both partake in this
special event. Max leaves so the show can begin.
Match #1: Joe ‘Jack Hammer’ Sanders vs Col. Samuel
Flagg
This one didn’t go
very long with Flagg cheating at every turn.
At the 6 minute mark, he camouflaged himself into his surroundings and
Joe couldn’t see him. Flagg then rolled
him up and with a handful of tights, he got the 1-2-3. Joe tried to complain and even the fans were
vocal but Flagg took the win and left in a hurry. 6 minutes
Match #2: Madman Mason vs Phantom Frank
Both men traded
blows and controlled the pace of the match but by the end, Phantom Frank had a
lock on the match and hit Mason with the Head Stone (knee strikes to the
head). He made the cover and got the win
at the 16 minute mark. After the match,
Mason challenged Frank to a rematch at the PPV on Halloween. Frank agreed.
Match #3: The Conquistadors vs The Freedom Fighters
The Freedom
Fighters totally dominated this match and were well positioned to move up in
the rankings. As the match got closer to
the 30 minute mark, things began looking bleak as they could not put the
Conquistadors down. In the final
moments, Justice nailed a flying dropkick and was going to go for the pin but
Zapato hit a slingshot clothesline and then rolled Justice up for the 1-2-3
with seconds to spare. The Conquistadors
get the win and move up in the rankngs.
29 min; 45 seconds.
Match #4: Kroman the Barbarian vs ‘Wildman’ Saturn
Frost.
Another short
match saw Kroman try to cheat to win and even removed one of the turnbuckle
covers uncovering the exposed brackets.
He tried to whip Saturn into the corner but Saturn reversed it and
Kroman crashed hard into the corner and the exposed brackets hurting his
back. Saturn then locked in a Half
Boston Crab in the middle of the ring and Kroman had no choice but to tap
out. Saturn Frost gets the win by
submission at the 9 minute mark.
It’s now time for
our Main Event.
Match #5: Violet Valkyrie vs The British Crippler
The British Crippler
came out first follow by Violet Valkyrie who got the loudest pop of the
night. Violet stayed in control for
almost the entire match rarely letting the British Crippler try to capitalize
on anything. We join the match at the 18
minute mark.

The fans
practically explode with excitement as Violet gets the huge win. Violet climbed all four corners getting the
crowd psyched. She then asked for a mic
and said that this latest dominating win shows she is ready for a rematch for
the Ladies Title. She issues a challenge
to her bestie Korbi Kong for the title at the House of Horrors PPV. Korbi comes up on the Omegatron and says she
will meet Violet there.
