Hello Wrestling Fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. The show begins with GM Max McGillicutty coming out to thank the fans for attending. He reminds everyone that today is the final show before the Hall of Fame Ceremony followed by the 3 day Critical Mass PPV. He says he is proud to say that all 3 days are officially sold out but fans can still watch from the comfort of their homes. Max announces that starting with this year, the Critical Mass PPV will now feature the Jeff Meyers battle royal. This year will be the first and will be a staple moving forward. Starbuck Steel comes out and thanks Max and the fans for supporting his brother Buzz all these years and is proud to see the former co-owner honored in this way. Max and Starbuck are joined on stage by the flannel wearing wrestling lumberjack Jack Lumber. Jack offers Starbuck, Max and the HCW universe his condolences for the loss of such a unique individual. Jack offers to wrestle Starbuck tonight in honor/memory of Jeff/Buzz. Starbuck asks if Jack will put his briefcase win on the line. Jack agrees. Max states this will be our main event.
Our first match of
the night is the first of our semi-finals in the Tag Team tournament. This one has the Regulators taking on Ghee
Buttersnaps and Ovaltine Jackson. Right
off the bat, Ghee and Ovaltine got injured and really didn’t put up that much
of a fight. The Regulators get the win
and move right into the finals (8 min).
Well, so we
weren’t expecting that so we added a filler match. Barry
Morningstar w/the Ambassador took on Joe ‘Jack Hammer’ Sanders. For 7 minutes, Joe held the lead but after
the Ambassador got involved, it went the ‘brother of the devil’s way. Barry ends up getting the win at the 17
minute mark after connecting with a flying headscissors (and the Ambassador
holding Jack’s foot down for good measure).
Up next is our
final semi-final qualifying match for the Tag Team Titles. Col. Flagg and ‘the Bounty Hunter’ Jake
Montrose take on Tobias and Niven Snake of the Snake Pit. This one goes right to the time limit and
ends with seconds to spare as Niven caught Flagg with a Superman punch and
rolled him up with a handful of tights to get the 1-2-3. The Snake Pit goes to the finals to meet the
Regulators at the PPV for the belts. (29

We head backstage
where we meet up with Violet Valkyrie.
Violet says she doesn’t have an opponent for the PPV as of yet. Sarona Reiher walks in and says she’d be
happy to hand Violet her ass in front of millions of people. Violet accepts and says she’ll see Sarona in
a few days.
We head back to
the ring for a Ladies match with Goldie Locks taking on Lavender Gooms. Right off the bat, Lavender hurls Goldie
into the ringpost practically knocking her out.
She drags her to the center of the ring and slaps on the Lavender
Lock. Goldie, practically unconscious,
has her arm raised 3 times and 3 times it drops. Lavender is awarded the match by submission
in just 2 minutes.
Col. Flagg walks
into the picture backstage and says he’s pissed they didn’t go to the finals in
the tag team tournament and says he is a top contender for the Hardcore title
and says he wants that match now. He
seems fired up; let’s see how he fares.
Hardcore title
Match: Dr. Red Fang vs Col Flagg. This
is a Brawl Games rules match where a person not only has to be pinned but then
has to meet a 10 count or they lose the match.
Surprisingly, Flagg put up a hell of a match controlling the first half
of the match. We join the match at the 9
minute mark.

The fans boo horrendously but the Ambassador stands tall with Fang and
Azrael. Just then, the Banker rushes out
and starts swinging the briefcase. Fang
gets hit across the back and falls out of the ring. The Ambassador hightails it out of there
while the Banker and Azrael fight…a preview of their PPV match. A bunch of refs rush in and break it up
separating the two. They will meet in a
few short days.
Goldie is
backstage and says that Lavender attacked her before the bell and is a no good
cheater. She says she will get a rematch
at the PPV and she will show the world she is better.
It’s now time Jack
Lumber vs Starbuck Steel with the cash in contract on the line. First, Starbuck Steel comes out to a huge pop
from the crowd. He makes his way down
and into the ring. He climbs the second
turnbuckle and the fans pop. The music
changes and we hear “TIMMMBERRRR” and out comes Jack Lumber. The fans’ pop for Jack equally mirrored the
one for Starbuck. He makes a quick stop
by the Lumber Lounge and then proceeds to the ring. He climbs in and climbs the turnbuckle to get
the crowd pumped. He steps down and
meets Starbuck in the center of the ring.
The two shake hands and this one is ready to get underway.

gets the win and wins the contract. He
helps Jack up and the two hug. Jack says
that this is Starbuck’s time to shine and he WILL take care of business with
Wilber. Starbuck says he will cash in at
the PPV and will take the title from the Wicked Prophet. The two stand tall in the ring as the show
comes to an end.
The Hall of Fame
is up next and then our PPV. Stay tuned.
