Hello Wrestling fans and welcome back to a much delayed episode of HCW Wrestling. Calling 2022 chaotic for us is an understatement for sure. You may have noticed the year was cut very short. Lots of personal issues kept shows to a minimum. I can’t say we’re back with the frequency we’ve had in the past years but will definitely work on bringing the action to you, our dedicated wrestling fans.
Although there
weren’t a lot of matches that took place last year, the last shows posted (from
April’s Critical Mass PPV saw some great outcomes:
· Korbi Kong
defeated her bestie Violet Valkyrie to become the Ladies Champion.
· Long time rivals
The Wicked Prophet and Jack Lumber met up again with Prophet walking out with
the World title.
· The Steel Curtain
retained the World Tag Team titles after defeating Tommy Lightning and Derek
Deveraux. Derek lost his job with HCW
because of a loophole Tommy has put into the contract.
· Wilber Townsend
was victorious in retaining the US title in his battle with Maximillian
Redbeard. Don’t count Redbeard out.
· Dr. Red Fang
regained the Hardcore title after taking it back from Leiton Snake. He’s back to being more dangerous than ever.
· Azrael retained
the TV title in a 3 way battle against Biceps Bannerman and Apollo Gyze. Apollo cost Biceps the win and Biceps said
Apollo will pay.
· Catalina Harper
won and subsequently retired the Anytime/Anywhere title before retiring
herself.
· The trio of Dennis
Marshall, Casper Wyoming and Phantom Frank regained the Six Man Tag Team
Championship after Derek Deveraux came out and cost Tommy Lightning the match.
2023 saw the

had been suspended but wrestled under a mask and the name “Brash
Toothpick”. Once he was unmasked, he was
fired from HCW.
After
winning the World Title, the Wicked Prophet stated that he wanted fresh blood
(figuratively speaking) and didn’t want Lumber back in the picture. “He had his run and lost to ME. He can go find something else to do”. When we asked Jack about this, he said
“Prophet can have his time in the sandbox but when I’m ready, I am coming back
for that title.”
Another
addition to HCW’s roster is a new segment run by Mr. B. Wacks. He will be running a segment called “None of
your B’s Wax”. The ring is set up so
let’s take you there right now.
(We
go to the ring where we see standing in the middle of the ring with two chairs
is Mr. B. Wacks. He has a mic in
hand):
“Hello HCW roster…I am Mr. B. Wacks
and my show is called ‘None of your B’s Wax’.
You will all recognize that this segment is going to be the highlight of
each and every show I am on. (the fans boo).
Shut your pie holes! (the booing
intensifies). I honestly don’t care if
you cheer or boo. I’m here to do a job
so shut up and sit down. (after a while,
the booing mellows). Now, my first ever
guest on this show is someone you’ll know and love. He is YOUR World Champion…The Wicked
Prophet”. Prophet’s music plays but he
doesn’t come out. Mr. B Wacks looks
visibly confused. The music then suddenly
changes and out comes one third of the 6 Man Tag Team champs Nick
Marshall. The fans pop for him as he
makes his way into the ring. He picks up
the mic from the chair. “Thanks Mr. B Wacks. Mr. B Wacks?
Mr B Wacks?....”
Mr.
B. Wax is quickly brought out from being deeply lost in thought. He turns to see an assistant. “Mr. B Wax, you go on in 30. Are you ok?”
Mr B Wax nods and asks if the World Champ in in the building and he is
assured he is. “All is good” he replies
and smiles.
Pyro
goes off and GM Max McGillicutty comes out to a huge pop from the Columbia, SC
crowd. He says he is going to kick off 2023 in huge
fashion to get the top 10 rosters set up so we can start seeing some
action. But first, we are going to

Niven Snake wins the first
Battle Royal of 2023!!!
Niven remains in
the ring and is joined by Mr. B Wacks. Mr. B Wacks congratulates Niven on
winning the first battle royal of 2023.
Niven says he is not wasting any time and is going to use this win to
declare himself the #1 contender to the World Title held by the Wicked Prophet. Niven says that he will ‘Superman punch’
Prophet into oblivion and will take the title for his own. He will dethrone the champion as easily as he
eliminated him from the battle royal.
Just then, the Wicked Prophet hit the ring attacking Niven from
behind. Wacks bailed from the ring as
Niven rushed the ropes and flew looking to connect with the Superman punch but
Prophet caught him mid air and dropped him with the Unrighteous Dominion. Niven was out on the ground and Prophet
picked up the mic. “You can try and you
will FAIL.” Prophet drops the mic and
leaves to booing from the crowd.

Ladies Battle Royal!!!
Mr. B Wacks
returns to the ring. “The Ladies
Champion Korbi Kong wins the Battle Royal but really, you couldn’t let anyone
else win? Is your ego that big that you
have to be the glory hound at EVERYTHING?”
The crowd voiced their displeasure at Mr. B Wacks insulting the Ladies
Champion. When Korbi tried to get in a
word, he walked away, continuing the disrespect. Korbi then walked up to him and he cowered in
the corner. Before Korbi could do
anything, Sarona Reiher attacked Korbi slamming her head into the corner
turnbuckle over and over. She then
bodyslammed Korbi in the center of the ring.
Sarona leapt up to the top rope, gave the heavy metal hand signals and
then jumped off the top turnbuckle and flattening Korbi with the Superfly
Splash. Sarona grabbed the Ladies title
and held it over her head before dropping it on Korbi in disgust. Korbi was helped to the back by some medical
staff.
Max comes back out
and lets us know that this weekend, they will be hosting a PPV. As there no longer is a king or queen in HCW,
the PPV has been changed from Reigning Royalty to Elimination Chamber. 6 men will compete in their own elimination
as will the Ladies with the winner getting a future title match. Wicked Prophet will defend the World title
and Korbi Kong will defend the Ladies title in our co-Main Events. The fans pop for the announcement. He leaves
the stage.
