Welcome everyone back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. As February winds down, we get ready for the first PPV of the new year – Elimination Chamber. But first, we have to have some qualifying matches to see who will fight in the chamber for a chance at the World and Ladies titles. The qualifying matches will be staged over the next two shows as we head into the PPV.
For the men:

Match #1: Maximillian Redbeard gets the win over Apollo
after hitting him with a Knoggin Stomp at the 8 minute mark.
Match #2: This one went a bit longer (26 minutes) as
Mason had issues with the Jack Hammer.
Joe definitely made the Madman work for this win. Mason gets the win after hurling Joe into the
corner and then pinning him (with his foot on the ropes for leverage).
Match #3: Chloe started off really slow but then picked
up steam and the win after hitting a Somersault Ace Crusher at the 10 minute
mark.
Match #4: Lavender vs Penny went to a 30 minute time
limit draw. Penny DOMINATED the match
and was clearly upset at the draw finish.
It will remain to be seen if GM Max McGillicutty gives them another shot
or only has 5 participants in the Chamber.
Match #5: Kimberly controls the match and picks up the
win at the 11 minute mark after hitting the Christo.

Wilber steals a
win and secures the #3 spot in the Elimination Chamber. He looks at Phantom Frank and laughs as he
makes his way to the back.
Just before the
show was ready to end, GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says we are going to
have a contract signing. Sarona Reiher
comes out first and then mocks the Ladies Champion Korbi Kong for being a
coward. Korbi comes out to the loudest
pop of the night and makes her way right to the ring. She gets into Sarona’s face and then signs
the contract first. She flicks the pen
at Sarona which pisses off the challenger.
Sarona signs it and then gets into Korbi’s face. The two immediately start throwing haymakers
and Sarona ends up putting Korbi through the table. Sarona picks up the Ladies title and says
that the fans are looking at the next Ladies Champion. She drops the belt on Korbi and then
leaves.
