Hello fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter. With the Elimination PPV behind us, we look forward towards this year’s hall of fame, fanfest and Critical Mass PPV.
At Elimination
Chamber, on the ladies’ side, Violet Valkyrie won defeating all the other women
to be the last one standing. Jack Lumber
won it for the men’s side. Both are guaranteed
a title shot at whichever belt they want.
Violet has stated she will eventually be coming after the Ladies title
however she will be strategic and will pick her time when she’s ready. Jack Lumber was being interviewed and before
he could announce which belt he was going after, he was attacked from behind by
Wilber Townsend. Wilber said that Jack
is not ready for the big time and if he wants any hope of getting back into the
World Title picture, Jack would have to go through him.
GM Max
McGillicutty comes out to thank the crowd for attending. He goes over the line up for the card tonight
and lets us know that Mr. B Wacks had only signed a short term contract and
tonight is his final night in HCW. The
crowd cheers.
First off, we
start the show with a special challenge match.
Oswald Zimmerman has challenged Jack for his spot in the US Title line
up. Jack, the flannel wearing lumberjack
he is, agreed.
Jack has control
of the match from the beginning but Oswald was not making it easy for him. Oswald kept the action going and we pick it
up at the 16 minute mark.

Jack gets the win
and celebrates in the ring. US Champion
Wilber Townsend comes out and stares at him with a creepy look on his
face. It takes a moment before Jack sees
him. Wilber points at him and then walks
to the back. Jack shudders in the ring
before heading to the back.
Next up, we have
ourselves another challenge. Col. Flagg
threw out a challenge to Maximillian Redbeard for his spot in the Hardcore
Title line up. Maximillian came out
first to a nice pop from the crowd followed by Flagg who was mercilessly booed
by the crowd. Flagg threatened to hit a
couple of hecklers but security prevented it.
The match remained fairly close
but Flagg took cheap shots where he could.
At one point, the ref took an bump and was down. Flagg pulled Redbeard out of the ring and
viciously rammed his back against the ringpost.
Redbeard was in some serious pain.
As soon as Flagg noticed the ref was stirring, he rolled Redbeard back
into the ring. He then applied a
backbreaker and Redbeard tapped out. The
ref, not knowing what transpired, saw the tap out and called the match in favor
of Col. Flagg. Flagg now moves up in the
Hardcore title ranking. Flagg got on the
mic and told Dr Red Fang that he was coming for that title and Fang would end
up worse than Redbeard. (16 min)
The stage is set
up for the final “None of your B’s Wax” show.
Mr. B Wacks is standing on stage and the booing from the crowd is
deafening. He gets on the mic and tells
them to shut up. That only increases the
noise. Mr. B Wacks says that this
ungrateful crowd is exactly why he is leaving “this cesspool” but before he
goes, he wants to call out one person he feels he’s been ‘mean’ to. He calls out Ladies Champion Korbi Kong. Korbi comes out to a HUGE pop from the
crowd. Mr. B Wacks tells her that if she
is expecting an apology, she is NOT getting it.
The crowd boos him. He doubles
down on calling her a fraud of a champion and that she has no backbone. He calls her the worst Ladies Champion in
history. By now, Korbi has been holding
her temper in check but she’s about had it.
She immediately grabs Mr. B Wacks by the collar and then looks out to
the crowd for approval. The fans then
chant in unison “KORBI KONG SMASH” and she hits him so hard that he goes flying
off the stage to the storage area below.
The fans pop huge and she says “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again….to
all my challengers, just BRING IT.” She
leaves as the fans pop louder and louder.
Next on the
docket, we have some tag team action.
First, 2/3’s of the Six Man Tag Team Champions comes out with Dennis
Marshall and Phantom Frank representing.
They get a nice pop from the hometown crowd. Next, the Conquistadors (Toro and Zapato)
make their way out to boos from the crowd.
The masked men looked a little silly running from side to side to
“admonish” the fans. Once the match
finally began, it was pretty evenly matched.
Neither team could get a leg up.
At the 12 ½ min mark, Dennis got a bit frustrated and hurled
Conquistador Toro over the top rope.
Zapato went to check on him and Toro began to act delusional. He started to walk to the back with Zapato
trying to bring him back but with no success.
Toro gets counted out and Dennis and Frank get the win via count out at
the 13 minute mark. A win is a win I
suppose.
Next on the card
is Hayley Hailstorm vs Chloe Parker.
This one was pretty one-sided after Missy Chick came out and distracted
Hayley. That allowed Chloe to cheat her
way to a win after dropping Hayley on her head with a DDT. After the match, Missy stomped on Hayley and
grabbed a mic. She says she wants a
rubber match between them since they each hold a win over the other. Missy says she will prove that she is better
than Hayley. She drops the mic and walks
off. (24 min) Before Hayley leaves, she picks up the mic
and calls Chloe back. She tells her that
if it weren’t for the interference, there is no way Chloe beats her. She challenged her to a rematch right
now. Chloe says she’ll agree but she is
only going to give Hayley 6 min to beat her (time limits are set at 30
min). Hayley agrees.

where we are with the World Tag Team Champions.
Buzz says that they are one of the greatest tag teams HCW has ever
seen. Starbuck adds “Word”. Buzz says that with all the great talent that
exists around the world, HCW gets the cream of the crop. Starbuck says “Word”. Buzz says that after tonight, the belts will
still be theirs. Starbuck says “W…you
got that right my brother” and the champs head to the ring.
It’s time for our
main event. First, the Regulators – Mule
and Mammoth - make their way to the ring and they are booed. The challengers shrug it off. Next, the music hits and the World Tag Team
Champions the Steel Curtain – Buzz and Starbuck – make their way out to one of
the loudest pops of the night. They get
into the ring and each climb a turnbuckle and hold their belts high. They step down and hand the belts to the ref
and the match is ready to begin.
