HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 02.04

Hello fans.  Welcome back.  The top 10’s are still being created so we are still on pace for a weekend announcement.  We have some news regarding the HWF management.  Donnie B was approached by Wayne Tuttle who told him (yeah, I had my ear to the door, so what?) that managing the federation on a day to day basis was just going to be too much for him to handle so he was bringing on an assistant GM; a young fella by the name of Master Bull (aka Brooks Corwin).  Master Bull will not take any “bull” from anyone on the roster so everyone better stay in line.  The first thing Master Bull does is to fire Kid Kash.  He said that he just looked at him wrong backstage and said that he was no longer employed.  Wow, what a grouch.

All of the rankings have been compiled.  All but one person (non tag team) did not make it.  That man was Roderick Strong.  He noticed that both Big Show and Kane have made it for singles titles which didn’t make sense so he complained and Mr. Meyers did in fact acknowledge this error so both Kane and Big Show were removed from the world title picture.  Kane’s spot was awarded to Strong.  Big Show’s spot was left open.  That leaves 2 men left to fight for it.  3MB and the Shield all wanted that final spot but 2 of the wrestlers have to be left for the tag team title picture so it was agreed that a quick battle royal would take place with those final 6 left to fight for it.  The last man standing after eliminating Drew McIntyre is Jinder Mahal.

There are three (really sucky) teams that did not make it into the tag team top 10 – Rob Terry and Robbie E, Slater and McIntyre and the Colons.   Right after everything was finalized, Slater and McIntyre challenged the USO’s for their spot in the tag team line up.  The USO accepted and stated at the next show, they would put their spot on the line.  Big Show and Kane were present and really had a good laugh at this all.  They kept mocking the Team of the Robs and the Colons for not even being able to secure a single win…at all. 

While challenges were being thrown around, the Rob’s challenged Rothchild and the Axe for their spots and the Colons challenged Negronomicon and Billy Pearl. 

Mr Meyers was also backstage talking about the possibility of some job cuts.  He told Clarkus Kentus that his federation had to be a collection of winners and not whiners so unless certain people picked up the ball, there may be some heads on the chopping block too.

This just announced.  Normally, the first PPV of the year called Warzone that would be held in January would actually take place in New Orleans during the month of February.  All champions are being told that they have to defend their titles at least once before the PPV so they may not opt to go in order.  We have been informed by Mr Tuttle through his asst GM Master Bull that the HWF world title will be on the line with RVD defending against the Rock and Kurt Angle defending against Daniel Bryan.  Over on the CSWA side, Christian will be defending his World title against Rey Mysterio.  The other matches have yet to be defined.

Also stuck on the sidelines is Dean Ambrose.  He came out and challenged JTG for his spot.  At first JTG didn’t want to come out. Mr. Meyers came out and ordered JTG to the ring.  He still refused to head down.  Meyers stated that JTG would be guaranteed a World title shot if he came out.  That statement brought him down.  “But, if you lose this match, you are out of a job.”  JTG was floored.  Ambrose immediately attacked him and the bell rang.  It only took 7 minutes to find out that JTG was heading to the unemployment line.  He was all sad and weepy as he left the building.  “I said there would be some housecleaning and this is where it starts.” Mr Meyers stated.  “I expect no demand 100% in the ring.  If you aren’t willing to do it, it may be time to look for a job elsewhere.”

One last thing before signing off, any wrestler within their own federation can challenge another member in any top 10 for their spot.  It the challenger wins, he will take over that spot and the loser will take over the other’s.  This could be something as a #9 seed moving up to a #3 spot or even that same #9 seed in the X-division line up could challenge and defeat someone getting a world title shot.  Once that person gets the win, no one can challenge them further.

Hello fans.  Well, I knew it was going to be an interesting ride and we have crowned all of our new champions to take us into the future.

For the HWF:

Undisputed Heavyweight Champion - RVD

If you’ve followed us before, you will know that Big Show and Kane have been the tag team champs before and for a time, they were unstoppable.  It will be interesting to see if they can replicate that success.

We knew that there was going to be some fallout and it was apparent that at the house show in San Diego, CA, it all started.

Donnie B and MW3 came down to the ring.  Donnie B took the mic first. “Well, it appears that Reid Rothchild has gotten himself some muscle.  ‘The Axe’?  Really?  That is the best you could come up with?  I made the decision that when entering the tag team tournament, I wanted a partner who I may not be able to totally trust but I know that when the time comes, he has my back.  Everyone, I want to introduce you to MW3.”  He handed the mic to his tag team parter.  “You know Axe, I had you totally beat in that singles match.  Feet on the ropes?  Really?  No trunk pulling?  Come on man, get creative.  Not only did you cost me the chance for a singles title, you cost us a shot at the tag team belts.  So, in the spirit of competition, why don’t you and your monkey’s ass of a partner come down and take a beating like real men.”  Immediately, the big screen came on with and there was Reid and the Axe.  “Awww, look at them standing there in the ring…isn’t it cute?” said Reid.  “Axe, I picked you as my partner because I know you are here to kick some Axe (bwwaaaahhahahahaha) but in all seriousness, we’d love to come down but, mmm, not today.  See, I’m taking the Axe here for a day on the town.  When people see me, they are taken in by my magnificence.  I’m from the Elite part of society and Mike here will soon be too.  You see him today as a grunt (Medley turned and looked at him weird) but I will show everyone that he is upper-echelon..just like me.  We will deal with you on our terms.”  At that point, Medley and Rothchild attacked MW3 and Donnie B in the ring until DB was able to toss Reid out of the ring and MW3 clotheslined the Axe from the ring.  Both were shouting obscenities at each other until Axe and Reid opted to continue to run away.  Donnie B and MW3 shook hands and then also left the ring. 

Coming out next was the CSWA World Heavyweight Champion Christian.  He came out wearing his gold and took to the mic also. “I’m here to address just one person…RVD.  I want you to come down here to explain your actions after our title match.”  He is interrupted by “IF YOU SMELLLLLLLLLL…..WHAT THE ROCK….IS….COOKIN.”  The IC Champion made his way to the ring and took the mic from Christian.  “Whoa, whoa, whoa, WHOA!  Christian, I know that you are the CSWA World Champion but now it is the Rock’s time and the Rock wants to address our beloved champion RVD.  The Rock wants to know why RVD stabbed the Rock in the back?  Why he kicked the Rock when the Rock was down?  Why RVD is the biggest piece of monkey crap ever to lace up a pair of boots.  The Rock has a problem with this and expects the champ to come down and face the Rock here…in this ring.”  RVD came out but stayed on the ramp.  He too had a mic in hand.  “Rocky, I’ll get to you in a sec.  Christian, I did exactly what you would have done…I just did it first.  Don’t hate.  Be happy.  It’s 4:20 somewhere.  Rocky, yeah, I beat ‘the People’s’ champ.  I took what is rightfully mine – the world title.  And thanks to Christian ‘doing the job’, I’m also the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion.  I’ve been here before after taking the title from Benoit all those years ago and now, I’m right back on top and I don’t plan on going anywhere.”  There was some silence as Christian and Rock traded some facial expressions and Christian motioned for the Rock to answer. “Well, the Rock has someplace he wants you to go.  The Rock wants you to take a trip. Not a very long one..it’s really close.  It’s called the Smackdown hotel.  You can find it at the corner of Know Your Role blvd and Jabroni drive.  In fact, let the Rock take you there right now.”  With that the Rock dropped the mic and charged after RVD. RVD took off like a scalded dog.  The cameras caught all the backstage action and saw RVD hop into his new Ferrari and drive off just as the Rock came around the corner.  “This isn’t over by a long shot.” Rock was heard saying.  Christian stayed at ringside and shook hands with his “peeps” before heading to the back.

We have a couple of new pieces of information.  We also hired a couple of guys to start off our first online media broadcast.  One guy calls himself Joe Jobber and the other calls himself Jimberg: the lil’ Bossman.  The best way for us to describe Jimberg is that he is a horrible ripoff of Gillberg who in turn was a rip off from Bill Goldberg.  The first media match has Jimberg taking on Joe Jobber.  In 7 minutes and after two JimHammers and a spear, Jimberg was victorious.  After the match, Jobber started to badmouth Jimberg and his family and friends.  Jimberg invited him back in the ring but he declined.

Next out we have Cactus Jack defending his Media title.  Samoa Joe comes out to accept the challenge.  We noticed that “The Mighty Casey” was sitting at ringside.  Cactus kept refusing to get in the ring and was dragging the start out.  7 minutes later, Joe has Cactus locked in the rear naked choke.  As Cactus was fading out, he somehow managed to trip up the ref causing a DQ.  Joe won the match but not the title.  Joe took Jack to the outside and started to beat on him again.  He then threw Jack over the ring barrier and Cactus landed in the lap of the Mighty Casey, spilling his drink and nachos.  Partially covered in cheese and not really knowing what he was doing and where he was, he pie-faced Casey and Casey fell down into the ringside chairs.  He wasn’t happy and Cactus never acknowledged him. 

By this weekend, we hope to have the top 10s created so that the champs can move forward with the defending of their respective titles.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 – 02.2 – The crowning of the champions pt 2.

Hello fans and welcome back to your source for fantasy wrestling shows. In this issue we will recap the final 3 matches to decide who walked away with what gold.  Without further ado, let’s get right into it.

Hello Fans.  Larry Morton Esq. and Clarkus Kentus here reporting live from Phoenix, AZ; the site for the HWF and CSWA finals as well as the tournament to crown new tag team champions.   

The first singles match of the night has Christian taking on Rey Mysterio Jr to determine who will win the World and US titles respectively.  The winner of this match will go on later to fight the winner of the HWF world title to see who becomes the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion.  As a reminder, this belt will be required to be defended at all PPV’s so it is possible that this champion may end up pulling double or even triple duty in a single night. 

Christian came out first followed by Mysterio. Mysterio starts with some chops and Christian hits the One Man Concerto.  Christian opts to not go for a pin. He then hits an inverted facelock backbreaker by Rey comes back with a spinning heel kick. A springboard plancha from Christian is met with a dropkick from the turnbuckle.  Christian nails another springboard plancha but Rey hits the 6-1-9 and immediately goes for the pin but loses points in the process.  Rey hits a standing dropkick and Christian hits the one man concerto again and this time goes for the pin but Rey reverses the pin attempt and loses more points for the attempt.  Frustrated, Rey hits an amazing dropkick and Christian is down.  Rey goes up and nails a flying bodypress.  Rey goes for the 6-1-9 but Christian gets his wits about him and gets out of the way. Rey nails some headscissors but Christian goes to the ropes and connects with a  huge backbreaker.  He goes for the pin and secures the 1-2-3 to become the NEW CSWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. Rey will win the US title.

Next on the card is RVD taking on The Rock for the HWF World title.  Rock begins with a belly to belly suplex on Rob.  RVD hits a VanTerminator while Rock begins to Lay the Smack Down (punches follow by spit in hand and then huge punch).  RVD hits a split legged moonsault and then is tossed right out of the ring.  He regains his composure and then comes back into the ring.  Rock hits the Peoples foot to gut and RVD goes to the ropes and nails a 5 star frog splash but does not try for a pin. Rock goes for a belly to belly suplex that is nullified by RVD.  RVD goes for dropkicks, it is reversed by the Rock who goes for a Rock Bottom but that gets nullified. Rock gets a quick Rock Bottom in but does not go for a pin. Rock kicks RVD in the gut but Rob hits a VanDaminator for a 2 count but loss of points. Chops from VanDam are met with a Sharpshooter but RVD quickly makes it to the ropes. Rock hits a belly to belly suplex and goes for a pin but loses points in the process. Rock begins to question the ref about what is going on when RVD goes to the ropes, jumps to the top turnbuckle and connects with a 5 Star Frog Splash.  RVD makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  RVD is the NEW HWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.  The Rock gets the IC belt. 

In order to make the tag division more interesting, a few wrestlers were put together to mix things up.  For the CSWA, Big Show and Kane are being paired up as well as Daniel Bryan and Big E. Langston in addition to the tag teams that are already there.  For the HWF, Ryback and Taz are a new team as well as Hernandez and AJ Styles. The tournament is set up alphabetically from A-Z and will use the teammates’ name closest to A and work our way down. If the team has name, they will be categorized by that name.  The tourney will look like this:

Prime Time players advanced over the Elitist and the Axe after Donnie B and MW3 came down to distract them.  After the match, all four men brawled all the way to the back.

Round 3

Big Show and Kane got the win over the Prime Time Players

Worlds Greatest Tag Team advanced over the Hardys

The Final match saw Big Show and Kane take on the World’s Greatest Tag team.  The speedy team held their own throughout the 44 minute match which really never saw one team get a lead over the other.  In the end, after having almost passed out from Kane standing on his neck, Haas just couldn’t continue and Big Show and Kane are the NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS.

The final match of the card will have Christian taking on RVD for the Undisputed Heavyweight title in a TLC match.  RVD begins with a heel kick but gets tossed out of the ring for his efforts. Christan hits a DDT and then gets kicked in the hamstring.  Christian then connects with a One Man Concerto but does not go for the pin. Christian then hits a reverse DDT but RVD comes back with a VanTerminator.  RVD then hits a VanDaminator but doesn’t go for the pin. RVD then mistakenly knocks out the ref.  Both men do battle while the ref is down but RVD gets the upperhand after using a latter as a battering ram. After some more back and forth action, Christian hits the one man concerto but the ref is still down. Christian tries to wake the ref up and then RVD goes to the top rope and hits a VanDaminator just as the ref is getting up. He makes the cover but only gets a 2 count.  Christian stops Rob in his tracks with a  nasty uppercut. Christian follows it up with a  tornado DDT but Rob rolls out of the ring. In a very interesting move, Christian hits a dropkick that sends RVD to the corner where he climbed and flew to connect with the 5 star frog splash but he doesn’t make the cover as it appears he may have hurt himself.  Christian buys time for himself by tossing Rob to the outside of the ring.  Rob climbs to the top turnbuckle and catches Christian unaware with another 5 star and this times makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  RVD is now the UNDISPUTED HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.  What a match.  RVD and Christian shake hands  and as Christian turns to leave, RVD hits him with the belt knocking him from the ring.  He celebrates in the ring to a mixed reaction.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 – 02.1 – The crowning of the Champions

Hello fans and welcome to the tournament finals for the HWF and CSWA championships.  I’m Clarkus Kentus and I’m joined by the always entertaining Larry Morton Esq.  Tonight, we will see the final 4 compete for their company’s highest honors.  On the line are the following titles:

All the semi-final matches are no DQ with a 50 minute time limit and the finals will be no DQ with a 60 minute time limit.

First us we have Christian vs Cena.  The crowd is very anti-Cena.   Cena starts off with a reverse chinlock. Cena then stomps him in the gut.  Christian goes to toss Cena out but John hangs on and connects with the F-U for a 2 count.  Christian hits a springboard plancha and John hits a side suplex. Christian then hits a diving European uppercut. He follows it up with a dropkick but Cena hits another side suplex.  Cena with another side suplex is met with the One Man Concerto.  Christian goes for the pin and the ref counts 1…..2…..3.  Christian advances to the final round.

Cactus vs Rey Mysterio is up next.  Rey immediately begins with some reverse chops and after stunning Jack, he hits them again.  Cactus throws Rey out and immediately goes to the top rope and nails a Elbow drop (on Rey) to the concrete.  Mysterio makes it back in at the 8 count.  Cactus tries for a stomp but Rey moves out of the way. Cactus clotheslines Rey over the top rope but Rey hangs on and then nails a standing dropkick.  Rey goes to the top rope and hits a flying bodypress. He goes for the pin but only gets a 1 count.  Rey then connects with a spinning heel kick and this time gets a 2 count.  Rey hits another standing dropkick but Cactus nails a double arm DDT.  He makes the cover but only gets a 2 count.  Cactus tries to follow up with a running knee smash but Rey gets out of the way.  Cactus connects with a headbutt but Rey tosses him out of the ring.  He is back in by 6.  Cactus hits another headbutt but it is met with a hurracanrana from the little guy.  Rey goes for the cover but only gets a 2 count.  A headbutt from Jack is met with a spinning heel kick from Rey.  Some reverse chops from Rey take down the crazy Cactus.  Rey goes to the top rope again and connects with a flying bodypress.  He makes the cover but Cactus kicks out at 2.  Cactus nails a running knee smash but Rey is up and hitting a hurricanrana.  He goes for the pin and this time, he gets the 1-2-3 to advance.

The third match has the Rock taking on Daniel Bryan.  Kane comes out to show some moral support.  Rock starts right off with a DDT. Daniel comes back with a European uppercut.  Daniel goes for a second one but Rock reverses it and then tries for the Rock Bottom but Daniel gets away.  The Rock hits a second DDT but it is apparently not enough as Bryan comes back with some MMA strikes and goes for a submission.  Rock makes it to the ropes.  Rock nails a spinebuster but Daniel battles back with a missile dropkick. Rock hits another spinebuster and Bryan hits him with a forearm smash.  Bryan hits a double underhook suplex but ends up getting caught in the sharpshooter. Bryan makes it to the ropes but Kane knocks his hands off.  Rock pulls Bryan back to the middle of the ring where he taps out.  The Rock goes to move on.  Bryan looks to Kane and Kane shrugs it off and then leaves.

The fourth match has RVD taking on Kurt Angle. Angle immediately tries for the Angle slam but RVD reverses it and hits some dropkicks. RVD hits a spinning heel kick which Angle answers with a belly to belly suplex.  RVD goes for dropkicks but Angle reverses it and tosses RVD out of the ring for a 3 count.  Kurt hits an Olympic leg sweep but RVD knocks him down and goes for the 5 star frog splash.  He connects but only gets a 2 count.  RVD hits a second one but Kurt starts to choke him out.  RVD hits some hamstring kicks and Kurt goes back to choking him.  Angle hits a boot to the face but RVD goes to the ropes and nails another 5 star frog splash for a 1 count.  Rob hits a VanTerminator but Angle nails an Angle slam for a 2 count.  Kurt picks him up and hits a second Angle slam but Rob kicks out at 2.  More choking from the Olympic hero is met with a VanDaminator. Rob goes for the pin but only gets a 1 count.  RVD’s spinning heel kick is met with more choking.  RVD’s hamstring chops are also answered with more choking. Hamstring chops are met this time by a clothesline.  I don’t think Angle likes those.  Rob his a VanTerminator but Kurt nails another clothesline.  Kurt tosses RVD to the floor and he makes it back in at 8.  Angle’s choking is met with another VanDaminator and a 2 count.  RVD is tossed to the floor again but is back in at 4.  Dropkicks from RVD are met with, yep, you guessed it, more choking.  Rob goes for another VanDaminator but Kurt gets out of the way.  Kurt nails a belly to belly suplex and then gets tossed out of the ring.  He’s back in at 7. Angle locks in a bearhug trying to wear down the seemingly indestructible RVD (wonder if he was smoking something).  Van Dam chops are met with another belly to belly suplex.  Van Dam nails the chops again and Kurt drops.   RVD hits a headbutt but Kurt kicks him in the face.    Another headbutt from Rob and Kurt falls.  More choking from Kurt is not countered by Rob.  Kurt tosses him from the ring and it looks like Rob lands funny.  The 10 count is reached and Kurt demands to be declared the winner but this is a no DQ/CO match.  More hamstring chops hinder the power from the Angle slam.  Kurt goes to toss RVD out but he reverses it and hits more hamstring chops.  Kurt tries for another blatant choke but RVD reverses it, hits a VanDaminator and with a hook of the leg, he gets the 1-2-3.  RVD moves on to the finals.

John Cena vs Cactus Jack was up next.  This one would determine who would walk away with the Media title and who would win the Western States Heritage belt.  This match went 18 minutes with the matchup being pretty even.  Cactus began with a  double arm DDT that was reversed by Cena who went for a knuckle jam but that was reversed and hit a stomp on Cena.  Jack hit a headbutt which was answered by the F-U.  Cactus rolled out of the ring to regain himself.  Jack came back in and hit another headbutt which was answered again by the F-U.  He went outside again.  Cena hit two knuckle jams but was introduced to the Mandible Claw.  Cena got to the ropes to break the hold.  Cena pulls out another F-U and goes for the pin but only gets a 2 count.  Cena goes for another F-U but Cactus is able to get out and clotheslines Cena over the top rope.  Cena is back in with another knuckle jam. A side suplex from Cena is met with the double arm DDT.  Cactus stomps on John’s face a couple of times and then hits him with a steel chair.  Cena hits another F-U and then locks in a reverse chinlock. He rolls it over into a pin attempt and gets the 1-2-3.  John Cena is the NEW WESTERN STATES HERITAGE CHAMPION and Cactus Jack  is the NEW CSWA Media Champion.

Daniel Bryan takes on Kurt Angle next.  This one was only a 9 minute match.  Kurt started off with a bearhug and then started to choke Bryan out.  Daniel hit a forearm smash but Kurt chokes him again. Kurt tosses Daniel out of the ring but he is back in and nails some MMA strikes but Kurt won’t submit.  Daniel hits a European uppercut but then Kurt locks in the Ankle lock.  Bryan makes it to the ropes but Kurt won’t let go.  The ref threatens Kurt and he finally lets go but I think the damage has been done.  Daniel hits another roaring elbow smash but Kurt goes right after the ankle and locks in the Ankle lock.  Daniel still won’t submit.  Daniel hits a double knee strike but then collapses under his bad ankle.  Kurt locks in the ankle lock for a third time and this time he gets Daniel to tap.  Kurt is the NEW North American Champion and Daniel Bryan is the X-Division Champion.

We did not realize how long all of this took so the last two finals will be held tomorrow.  We will remain here in Phoenix to finish this all up.  We will also have the tag team tournament take place and will crown new champs.  The Undisputed title will still be up for grabs but there will be a special show to crown the new Undisputed Heavyweight Champion within the next week or so.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 - 01.6

Hi wrestling fans. Sorry about the last bit of miscommunication but Mr. Tuttle will end up as the GM for the HWF and Mr. Meyers will manage the CSWA.  Both men came to the agreement late yesterday and I forgot to pass that along.  They will continue to manage the wrestlers they drafted; just a name change.  Sorry about that.

 In this issue, we will be reporting on the continuing antics of “the Elitist” Reid Rothchild as well as publish (finally) Mr. Meyers’ interview.

I’m not quite sure what crawled up the ass of Reid Rothchild and died but he has been on a tear lately.  After the incident at the training facility, Reid once again verbally attacked Donnie B.  He was still feeling slighted because Donnie B was parked (in what he claimed) in his spot.  This time, Reid attacked Donnie B and hit him from behind (he is a coward after all) with a 5 lb dumbbell (he’s not all that strong either).  Fortunately, Donnie B wasn’t hurt too bad so I think that once matches start to get underway, Reid may be in for a world of hurt.

One other thing to note is that we also signed another newcomer by the name of Mike “the Axe” Medley.  Mike claims to have been trained by the great Larry Hennig and has modeled himself after his idol.  Mike will be drafted to the HWF.

***NEWS FLASH***

This just in…..we were able to come to terms with none other than Y2J himself, Chris Jericho.  Jericho has signed a short term deal with us with options for extensions.  We hope he will stick around as he is extremely entertaining.  Jericho will not be drafted to a particular brand so he will wrestle on both shows and will be eligible to win championships in either federation.

Not as huge of an announcement but HWF GM Wayne Tuttle has agreed to offer (it’s his funeral) a contract to the Negronomicon.  N will once again wrestle in the HWF where he caused much headache.  I hope Mr. Tuttle is able to keep him on a (figurative) leash (can’t say literal or he may want to sue me again).

Wayne also said that in addition to the Negronomicon, he is also bringing back a man who caused just as much pain and suffering during his last time here…none other than “Superstar” Billy Pearl.  Pearl had been here before as part of the Ramon “I’m a bitch” invasion.  Pearl was the leader of that NWO (not the WCW one) and caused much destruction in his wake (see the newsletter from August, 2004 for his past involvement).  When questioned about his choices, Wayne replied “I said that I was going to mix things up.  Pearl and the Negronomicon will be kept under control with the threat of jail if they get out of hand.  Donnie B may not have been able to gain control but I sure as hell will.”

Hello Wrestling Fans!

Welcome to the NEW CSWA.  That's right, the new CSWA.  Today is a new day for our sport.  We have a new direction and a new mission, and that is to bring you, our fans, the best wrestling product in the business. 

I have signed some of the best talent, from Ryback to Randy Orton.  Legends like the Undertaker and Hulk Hogan to some of today's newest stars like AJ Styles and Alberto del Rio.  Tag teams as well.  We have reinstated the "Freebird Rule" for the Shield and 3MB.  

And some of CSWAs homegrown talent is back.  The mysterious MW3. The man you love to hate, the devious Donnie B, and our newest find, the Elitist- Reid Rothchild.  

We will also be bringing back the long history of prestige with the CSWA Heavyweight Title.  The CSWA US Title.  The CSWA tag team titles and lastly, one the the most contested belts in Amy federation, defended weekly for you, the fans, the CSWA Media Title, continuing the tradition of the old Television Title, except that we will have the title defended on streaming media, as well as TV.  Matches could be featured on AppleTV, thanks to our agreement with the tech giant or could be defended on a Facebook Televised match.  But rest assured, that champion will be defending his title whenever he appears on any sort of media.  

And, in competition with our "friends" at the HWF we will have the Undisputed Title in the heavyweight division and the unified Tag Team belts defended at EVERY pay-per view show.

And for those of you who like specialty matches, we will be featuring those as well…Lumber jack, cage, Hell in a Cell and many, MANY more.  You will not only be surprised, but shocked as well.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 - 01.5

Hello fans.  Well, our first bit of excitement comes from a trade.  Due to an imbalance in the rosters, Crimson has been traded from the CSWA to the HWF.   I guess it’s a good thing he didn't win a belt yet.

In other news, as he was pulling up to the training facility, “The Elitist” Reid Rothchild went to park his car (he claims the front spot should be his) and noticed a car parked there.  Cursing up a storm, he ended up parking diagonally in 2 handicap spots and stormed into the facility.  He was hollering at the top of his lungs “Who the $%$# parked in MY spot?”  Donnie B came over to see what all the commotion was about.  “What is the problem here?” Donnie B asked.  Reid replied “Is that your POS in MY spot?  I get the good spot, not you.  I don’t care who you are.  Go move your POS out of MY spot NOW!”  Donnie B answered “Um, you don’t have a spot and I don’t know why you think you’re entitled to anything…” Reid immediately cut him off “Entitled?  Do YOU know who I AM?  I am the Elitist Reid Rothchild.  I get what I want.  Now, go move your car or things will get ugly”.  Donnie B was shocked at the gall of this chump.  “I’ll move my car when I am done doing what I need to.” Donnie B said calmly.  Reid immediately attacked Donnie B throwing him into some lockers.  He started to stomp a mud hole in DB but other members of the roster came in to break things up.  “This isn't over!”  Reid exclaimed as he was directed to a different part of the gym.  Donnie B was heard mumbling “He’s right about one thing, this isn't over.”

This just in:  Cactus Jack has agreed to a short term contract.  He will be added to the HWF roster.  Because Cactus evens out the roster, Crimson is being moved back to the CSWA. 

It is official, our first shows will be this weekend (yes, I know we are up against the Superbowl but we need to get this moving).  There will be 3 back to back house shows starting in Humble, TX followed by Colorado Springs, CO two days later.  These two events will be the singles tournaments as well as the tag team.  HWF will go first taking place in Humble. All the matches will happen on this day (these will be day-long events) and will take it down to the final four.  Day 2 will do the same.  Two days after that, the semi finals as well as the finals and crowning the new champions will take place in none other than Phoenix, AZ. 

We did get one interview from the HWF’s GM Wayne Tuttle:

“Well, it’s taken us a while to get here but the HWF is back!  Donnie B did a great job running it for all those years but now, with me in charge, expect new and great things to happen.  We will bring action and entertainment to new heights and prove to the world why we are the best federation in the world.  I invite you to join us and partake in the ride of a lifetime. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at ringside.”

We are eagerly awaiting GM Meyers’ interview and once we have that, things will take off.  The next post will be my last. As the owner, I, Donnie B, will relinquish the writing duties and turn them over to our roving reporters.  Larry Morton, esq. will report on the HWF while the “superman” Clarkus Kentus will report for the CSWA.  I’ve enjoyed this so far and can only expect great things to follow.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 - 01.3

Hi fans.  Well, our one solid piece of news is that Jim Cornette really came through for us.  We were able to secure talent from ROH to bring into the HFW/CSWA family.  Jim worked with their management throughout the night pulling strings we didn’t even know were there.  We are working out the contracts as we speak so we expect to announce all of the participants before our first live show in February. 
 

In other news, both Jeff and Wayne have confirmed the return of MW3 and the Super Warrior.  I too am training for a return to the squared circle.  We have also been approached by two other individuals who have asked to join the ranks.  One of the guys named Casey put on a show but we really didn’t think he had what it takes.  Needless to say, he wasn’t all that pleased when he left and vowed that we would see him again.  Ok.  The other guy was this dude sooo full of himself, we kinda had to laugh.  We asked him to demonstrate some moves and every move he did, he stole from a previous Superstar.  He executed a Stunner, Rock Bottom, Sharpshooter, Figure Four, etc.  We asked if he had anything of his own he could show us but kept using the same specialties that Legends of the past have used.  Nothing original there but he seemed at first glance that he could talk on the mic.  We agreed to sign him to a developmental contract and he took right off to go train.  I will give him this; he looks to be a go-getter.

I’m sitting here now looking at the belts I had created for the HWF and CSWA World Heavyweight titles and reminiscing about the history of my creation.  This also got me thinking that it may be time to bring back another federation I had: The EODRF (Either Old, Dead or Retired Federation) http://eodrf.blogspot.com/.  This encompassed all those characters not included in the other federation and allows me to have classic matches such as Bruno Sammartino vs Edge and Akebono vs Bill Mulkey.  The wonderful people over at http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/prowrestlingsuperstargame/ have provided me with lots of people (including women) that I can incorporate into the game also.  The wonders of the electronic version of PWS make doing 200 person tournaments easy as pie.  I did receive feedback from one of the EODRF followers and his suggestion was to just call it ODOR (Old, Dead or Retired).  I think I will be going with that (imagine being called the World ODOR Champion). 

Both GM’s have stated that they will be issuing statements regarding their federations. Once I receive that, it shall be posted here.  As I begin my training to return as an active participant, I will begin to yield the reporting duties to two of our roving reporters Clarkus Kentus and Larry Morton.

This just in:   I received a call from none other than the Negronomicon asking if he could return to the ring.  I am torn; with our history, I don’t know if I want to deal with that headache anymore but then it dawns on me; I won’t have to.  That headache would fall to one of the two GM’s.  I will leave that for them to decide upon.   It could make for good stories; you just never know.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2013 - 1.2

Hello fans. Well, I’ve been working diligently to get the administration part of the federations ironed out. The good thing is that we are now totally protected legally to prevent any lawsuits from disrupting our way of life. Further conversations that I’ve had with both GM’s are putting us in a really good place with an estimated “go live” date of Feb 1. We have all agreed that our first PPV will be “Wrestlemania” taking place in March. We have also agreed that there will most likely only be 6 PPV’s this year to allow feuds and storylines to progress and mature. As of this writing, the PPV’s we expect to have are the following: Warzone: Battlefield of Pain (pending ) Wrestlemania The Great American Bash Clash of the Champions Revenge:Day of Reckoning (pending) Starcade Championships will still be required to be defended at least once every 30 days with title matches still happening at the house shows. We know that with both Mr. Meyers and Mr. Tuttle coming into to town for the WWE’s Rumble, we will have the draft completed and then any rules and regulations on how they want their respective federations set up – to include but not be limited to cross-promotional matches. As of today, the plan is still to have each federation support 4 titles – A World title, an IC or US title, a TV/X-division title and finally a Cruiserweight/Light Heavyweight title. The World Tag Team titles will be cross-promotionally defended and the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship will still only be defended against a federations World Champion. Sgt. Hello Wrestling Fans...The Original Big Daddy Donnie B here. I know it's been awhile since I've posted anything so let me bring you up to date. After my last match with the Undertaker and retaining the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship, I got to thinking. With the help of some die-hard fans (jowsterguy for one), I think I may be ready to get back in the game. We were originally created back in the 1980's with matches all detailed on paper, and then moved to the electronic world in the 2000's but I've been doing this game since PWS was oringally released. Because of this, I have been able to report on the dealings and matches within the HWF (Humble Wrestling Federation) and the CSWA (Colorado Springs Wrestling Alliance). As I sit here in my room with all my championship trophies, I started to think that it was time to resurrect my long lost federation(s) and see what we can do to get these guys jobs and bring back entertainment and true wrestling the way it was meant to be done...showcase the talent, inform the public, and add a smidgen of comedy. At the end of last year, I once again reached out to some former partners/wrestlers of the HWF and CSWA - MW3 (aka Jeff Meyers) and the Super Warrior (Wayne Tuttle). We have had discussions about bringing back the federations, who and how they would be managed etc. Both Jeff and Wayne were on board (they made decent money working here) and they and I sat down to discuss the revival of the HWF and CSWA federations. Meyers of course wanted to manage his old fed - the CSWA, but I thought he would be able to lend his talents and drive to the HWF (my original baby). He agreed and the Wayner agreed to manage the CSWA. We all needed to figure out our roles going forward. I have decided to remain as owner of both federations but would have no involvement at all in the managing of either brand (see the issues with the Negronomicon for a better understanding). I agreed to become an active competitor with both Meyers and Tuttle donning the masks again to become their alter-egos. Mr Meyers and Mr Tuttle would be the GM's of their brands and their other selves would wrestle as normal. Next on the agenda is to hire talent. We went to TNA and the WWE to talk to the wrestlers about re-joining our federation (since I don't get ROH or other local venues, I don't include them in the game. In fact, they have to be on the active roster in order to be in this game). With the exception of those who have retired, almost everyone has agreed to come back and we got some new blood also. Everyone we are bringing in has asked for specific contracts (under the Negronomicon's rule, some people didn't get paid and some had to go to the street selling tickets in order to make money). All of the contracts were gathered up and now comes the hard part....who gets to go where. At the end of this month, Wayne, Jeff and I are meeting to discuss and figure out the draft (just so happens to coincide with the Rumble). I will make it a point to send out details once we are up and moving. I expect some house shows will start us off with our first PPV of the year to be the grand-daddy of them all - Wrestlemania in March. Everyone is excited to be back in our squared circle and we all feel the same. There will be some old rivalrys resurrected and some new ones created. Has wrestling become too PC?

I was reading online about 2 incidents that have happened in the WWE that I would like to address. First, JBL having to apologize to Carlos Colon, his family and the people of Puerto Rico. He made a comment like any old heel announcer would have done in the past...Jesse Ventura, Bobby Heenan, etc...and he has to apologize for it. Really? He's a bad guy for crying out loud. His job is to put over the talent and he did that for Epico and Primo. Next, Alberto Del Rio tears up a little kids sign and now he's in trouble for it? Again, a bad guy doing heelish things. Back in the 80's my brother and I went to a wrestling event in Houston. Four Horsemen vs some good guys. I ran to the rail as Flair was heading to the ring and yelled that Luger would beat him and take the World title. According to my brother, Flair turned to me and said "Shut your mouth you f@cking f@ggot". My response after stuttering was "uh, same to you". Insulted by one of the best. Did I run and cry about it? (not sure what my brother would say but most likely not). WWE states their shows are entertainment. I can't believe people are so PC that they don't see this. With the exception of the occasional fan taking it to the extreme (It's still real to me dammit), I would like to think we've grown beyond it...or maybe not. I've been chatting with the guy who created (established?) the electronic version of the PWS game and I may be closer to starting up the game again. If I can find the time, I think I may finally be ready to start up again. If John can make an online version work, Jeff and Wayne may finally be able to help me again.

Oh what the heck

I decided to sit down and do one more match...I said I would give the Undertaker one final shot at the Undisputed Heavyweight title but this would have to be contained within the confines of a steel cage. To make it all fair and square, Donnie B brought in the most honest ref on the planet - "Honest Abe". Abe stated that he would call this right down the middle - he cannot be swayed. Undertaker tried to get in Abe's face right off the bat but ended up backing down.

Both men are in the ring and the bell sounds. "The Original Big Daddy" Donnie B takes on the Undertaker for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship. Taker immediately starts off by throwing Donnie B into the cage. Donnie B bounces right off. Donnie B gets Undertaker up for a Superplex but Taker tosses DB into the cage again. Taker picks up Donnie B and throws him into the cage again and now DB is bleeding. Donnie B manages an eye rake and Taker, yep you guessed it, throws DB into the cage. The blood is flowing a bit more faster now. Donnie B fights back and hits Undertaker with another Superplex. Donnie B follows it up with a flying dropkick and Taker goes flying into Abe knocking him out. Donnie B finds a chair and nails Undertaker with hit. He too is now bleeding. DB follows it up with another chair shot but Taker starts to shrug it off and nails a clothesline. Taker then picks up DB and drops him onto the corner turnbuckle. Abe is getting up now. Taker tries for another clothesline but it is reversed and DB nails another flying dropkick. Undertaker up and nails the Last Ride. He makes the cover but Donnie B kicks out at 2. DB reverses a suplex attempt and nails the Lights out Brainbuster for a 1 count. Taker hits another Last Ride but is unable to make the cover. Donnie B hits Taker with a chair but then grinds DB's face into the cage blinding him. Undertaker hits the Last Ride again but only gets a 2 count. Taker goes for a throat lift but DB manages to reverse it, knock Taker down, climb to the top of the turnbuckle and deliver a flying double loaded elbow to the groin. He goes for a pin attempt but Taker kicks out at 2. Taker goes for the throat coke but Donnie B nails a neckbreaker. He makes the cover and is able to get the 1-2-3. Now it is a race to see if he can get out of the cage in one piece. Undertaker follows him up and both trade some blows. DB slams Taker's head into the top of the cage and UT falls back to the mat. Donnie B goes over the top of cage and drops to the floor. Donnie B retains the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship. Holy Cow. What a match.

Year end review 2011

As I sit here contemplating whether or not to do bring back the wrestling game, I still have not decided on exactly what I'd want to accomplish with this going forward. I'm sitting back drinking a Mike's found through Yahoo Groups a group of people who do their own federations and even some cross-promoting. I was able to find some new wrestlers but still haven't paid that much attention to the current product so I may be missing some. I think I will do a tournament and even have some old and familiar faces resurface. Only time will tell if I can follow through on this.

I got a call the other day from the former "Super Warrior" Wayne Tuttle. He was trying to get the CSWA and HWF back on its feet. I spoke about time, dedication and money (someone's got to pay these guys). He told me that after I closed up shop back in 2010, he invested his money wisely and would not be opposed to taking over the CSWA ship as its owner and GM. I told him I would give it some thought.

As fate would have it, "MW3" Jeff Meyers then dropped me a line and basically said the same thing. "You know, I think with all the money I've made over the years, I could do something to help you get this back on. What do you think?" I told him I had to think it over.

I did exactly that and then went back to both SW and MW3. "I tell you what, I would allow both of you to fund and manage both federations. I will retain the HWF and CSWA as my intellectual property but would not partake in managing the federations." Both men liked this idea so the plan has started to take shape.

I asked Jeff to take over as owner and GM for the HWF. He reminded me about his history with the CSWA and was hoping to take that over. I explained that he did pretty much all he could with it and it was time to take on a new challenge with the HWF. He said he would. After a quick conversation with Wayne, he agreed to GM the CSWA.

At this point, I do ask for both Jeff and Wayne to provide to me their thoughts and plans and how they see this working out. Both said they would get back to me.

In the meantime, I am considering a new tournament. Not sure exactly what will be the payout to the wrestlers would be but I am sure we will work something out. Maybe Donnie B will come out of retirement and put that Undisputed Heavyweight Championship on the line....Nah. But he may consider it if the person who wins is the man he took it from...The Undertaker.

Thoughts and more thoughts

Well, I'm sitting here re-reading stuff I've posted and am getting to thinking that a tournament may be forthcoming. I have to decide if I want to really do this and also see if I can do this on my HP Touchpad. Thinking about it. Waiting for the writing bug to bite me again.

Random thoughts

I'm sitting around thinking that I haven't watched wrestling lately because the show just wasn't worth watching. Then all of a sudden, the whole CM Punk thing goes off the charts. People will criticize me for this next comment but this just takes me back to the WWE Attitude Era and the one and only Stone Cold Steve Austin. He said what he wanted and didn't give a care to what anyone thought. I read the results weekly just in case I get the writing bug and want to jump back into this (as of now, still not ready yet). Punk has the same "IT" going for him that Austin and the Rock had back in the day.

Rock vs John Cena at Wrestlemania next year: I sure hope the title isn't on the line unless Rocky can make the commitment to come back to the square circle full time. This has the potential to be something great but the Rock should not win (if the title is on the line) as there would be no point. Just like letting Punk win the title and then (supposedly) leave the WWE with the title in tow.

Austin and one more match? If he has it at a Wrestlemania, I think I'd drop the $60 to get it. He was/is one of a kind.

There is also talk about next year's HOF. I read that someone asked good ol JR if he thought Chris Benoit would ever be inducted and in his opinion, it was no. Benoit's legacy (and an awesome one at that) was decimated by his final acts on this earth. For what was accomplished in the ring, does he deserve to be inducted? Hell Yes. Is the WWE (and current head honcho HHH) willing to take a risk to do this? Probably not. In all sports, there are HOF'ers that have done some horrible things (OJ) and was he kicked out of the Football HOF? I don't follow football enough to know for sure but somehow I doubt it. Time heals all wounds but will the one Benoit left behind ever fully heal?
