Hello
fans and welcome back to our newsletter.
Based on what transpired in the last issue, it seems that Super Warrior
and Warrior of Truth are no longer associated with Bray Wyatt. Wyatt has “freed” them to go on to bigger and
better things. It also seems that word
has gotten out that Super Warrior and Warrior of Truth were looking for a 3rd
member for their team. Many different
wrestlers cut their own promos and sent them in to vie for that spot. Among the videos submitted, we had the
“Bo-lieve Warrior” Bo Dallas, the “Golden Warrior” Goldust who was interrupted
by “Star-Warrior” Stardust, the “Bro-Warrior” Robbie E (who was actually making
fun of this), and the “Woo-woo Warrior” Zach Ryder. Super Warrior said that tonight, he and Truth
would make the pick for the 3rd member of their team.
The
American Wolves make their way down to the ring and call out Beer Money. Storm and Roode come out and say they don’t
have time for the wolves as they are getting ready for their final match
against the Ascension. They will be the
team to finally give the Ascension their first loss. Edwards and Richards get pissed off as Beer
Money brushes them off.
Master
Bull says that the 3rd match between Beer Money and the Ascension
will not be happening tonight. Instead,
both teams will be facing someone new.
Beer Money gets the American Wolves and the Ascension will get the
Miz-fits which is up next.
The
Ascension defeat the Miz-fits in 28 minutes after Viktor hit the Fiend with the
Fade to Black. The Ascension have been having issues as of late in trying to
get their matches over sooner rather than later. It of course didn’t help that Beer Money was
at ringside assisting with color commentating.
World
Tag team champs Donnie B and MW3 are being interviewed. MW3 biggest singles break is happening
tonight when he gets a shot at the CSWA World Champion Kurt Angle. MW3 says that the tag team titles are
important but then so is this one.
Donnie B tells MW3 that GM Hulk Hogan is preventing him from accompanying
him to ringside but he will be cheering his partner on from the back.
We
go back to the ring for the first title match of the night. Challenger Bobby Lashley comes out first and
is followed by US Champion AJ Styles.
Both men shake hands as the bell rings for this best of 3 falls match.
In 12 minutes, Bobby scores the first pin after hitting AJ with the Dominator. When the bell rang to start the second fall,
AJ wasn’t looking good. I think that
Dominator took something out of him. In
only 6 minutes after reversing a Styles Clash, Bobby hits another Dominator and
makes the cover. The ref counts 1…2…3
and declares Lashley the winner and NEW US CHAMPION. (18 min total)
The
new Intercontinental Champion Buff Austin (formerly known as Senor Vampiro)
makes his way out and mocks the HWF roster questioning anyone who could beat
him. Out comes X-Division Champion Tyler
Breeze. Breeze says he could defeat
Austin. Buff backtracks saying that
Breeze, although a champion, is not the #1 contender for his title. Breeze says their match doesn’t need to be
for the title. Just champ vs champ to
see who’s got what. Austin agrees. Buff Austin was controlling the match and
tossed Breeze from the ring. Tyler
quickly rolls back in and hits Buff with a Superkick out of nowhere. Breeze makes the cover and gets the pin. Buff rolls out of the ring and grabs his
title with a shocked look on his face.
Breeze says it’s inevitable…they will meet again. (7 min)
Next,
we are on to a 6 man match with Prestige Inc. challenging Kevin Steen, Curtis
Axel and Jack Swagger for their spot.
Team Steen were controlling this match by basically nullifying any
interaction from Prestige. Reid
Rothchild was kept in the ring and triple teamed multiple times. After some action from Magnus and Sandow,
Reid makes the hot tag to Magnus. Magnus
hits a Samoan drop but then too is triple teamed. Magnus makes the hot tag to Sandow who cleans
house. Sandow hits Steen with a spinning
elbow drop and makes the cover to get the 1-2-3. Prestige Inc. move up in the rankings. (19
min)
After
a quick video showing the ongoing battle between Sting and Brock Lesnar, we
head back to the ring for tag team action.
The American Wolves come out first and are followed by Beer Money. GM Hulk Hogan comes out and tells Beer Money
that their tag team title spot is on the line here also. They don’t like that. This one was pretty close the entire match
but the edge went to the Wolves. Knowing that their spot was in jeopardy put
Beer Money slightly off their game. In
23 minutes, Eddie Edwards catches Bobby Roode with a superkick. He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3. The Wolves have just taken Beer Money’s tag
team title spot. Holy cow.
Super
Warrior and Warrior of Truth make their way out. They say that they have decided on who was
going to be the 3rd member of their team. They make the introduction and out comes….the
“Woo-Woo Warrior” Zach Ryder. He gets a
disappointing reaction. Ryder runs
around the ring comedy relief style until we hear “No, No, No. I told you to choose wisely. This is not wise.” Out walks Bray Wyatt. Wyatt heads to the ring. “What are you doing? Trying to rack up losses? I told you to choose wisely. This is not a wise decision.” The Woo-Woo
Warrior takes offense and gets into Bray’s face. Bray immediately hits him with Sister Abigail
and Ryder is down. “Go back and choose
again.” He sends the Warriors from the
ring.
We
are on the tail end of our show with the first of our 2 main events for the
evening. First, the challenger. MW3 makes his way to the ring and then is
followed out by the champion Kurt Angle.
As expected, Angle controlled the entire match. Right about the 15 minute mark, MW3 began to
start making a comeback but Angle squashed that. Angle removed his shoulder straps and then
turned around into an MW2 kneelift. MW3
makes the cover and HOLY CRAP, he gets the 1-2-3. MW3 has just defeated Kurt Angle to become
the NEW CSWA WORLD CHAMPION. “Hold on a
minute, brother.” GM Hulk Hogan comes
out. “World title matches need to be
best of 3 falls so I’m making this one continue.” The ref rings the bell. The newly crowned champion was not going to
let anything stop him and he kept the momentum going. 10 minutes into our 2nd fall, MW3
hits the Superkick and makes the cover getting the win again. MW3 is officially the CSWA World
Champion. Donnie B comes out and
celebrates with his tag team partner.
Hot
on the heels of that last match, we head into our main event Sting vs Brock #5. Sting has decided that this match will have Lights
out rules. Master Bull comes out and
says that there is one other thing at stake – Sting’s title shot. Sting needs to win this one or he will lose his
title shot. In 11 minutes and in true
Beast Incarnate fashion, Brock piledrives Sting on the exposed concrete. Sting is out.
Brock gets the win and also wins the series 4 – 1 over Sting also making
him the #1 contender for Bray Wyatt’s HWF World title. Sting has just lost his shot at the HWF World
title. Sting leaves the ring
deflated. Brock gets on the mic and
calls out HWF Champion Bray Wyatt. Wyatt
comes out and stands on the stage and both men stare at each other as the show
comes to an end.
Stay tuned for more action.
