Hello
fans and welcome back to our newsletter.
In today’s issue, the hot topic of moment is the debut of the
Ascension. They went through the roster
like a hot knife through butter. After
their onslaught in Nashville, the following teams all approached their
respective GM’s and asked for a match against these guys. Those teams were: The Jones Boys, Wyatt’s Warriors, the
Desperados, Team Rob and Adrian Neville/Adam Rose. GM Master Bull put all their names into a hat
and said that everyone would get a shot at HIS newest acquisition but the team
getting the first shot is….Team Rob.
They laugh at all the others but then realize what exactly they’ve
gotten themselves into. Uh Oh. That match will be the main event tonight.
We
are told that there will be tournaments held throughout January to get our Top
10’s set up. Today’s battle will be to
determine who will be in line for AJ Lee’s Women’s title. We do know that Angelina Love is already the
#1 contender but that could always change if she is challenged for it. The Women’s roster (including Diva’s Champion
Ravishing Raquel but minus Cactus Jackie as she is stuck in England) all head
to the ring. We expected Spider Violet to also be exempt from this but she was
here. I guess she got her VISA situation
worked out before everyone else. AJ
comes out last and sits at ringside as the battle royal, to determine who her
future opponents will be, begins.
Between
Natalya Neidhart, Gail Kim and Ravishing Raquel, they did all the hard work and
eliminated the roster. Natalya
eliminated Gail Kim but Raquel then quickly eliminated her. Ravishing Raquel
wins the tournament. (30 min) She will be 2nd in line for a shot at AJ’s
title unless she opts to challenge Angelina Love first. Only 6 spots are filled as the others who
were eliminated in the beginning of the match will get a shot to fill the last
4 spots. The women fighting for those
spots will be Southern Belle, Fusion Valentine, Brie and Nikki Bella, Madison
Rayne and Alicia Fox.
After
the match finished, Ravishing Raquel stayed in the ring. She got on the mic and said that she is ready
for a match against AJ Lee. However, she
wants it to be memorable. She wants to
throw around some ideas and invites AJ Lee to have a conversation with her.
World
Tag Team Champions ‘The Original Big Daddy’ Donnie B and MW3 are being
interviewed. They are asked about the
newest addition to the HWF – The Ascension.
Donnie B said that they are open to all teams that are worthy. MW3 says they will be “just another
victim. These belts aren’t going
anywhere.”
We
head back to the ring for our next match.
Bo Dallas vs Jack Swagger. This one
took a while to get through. After being
on the receiving end of getting his ass kicked, Bo decided to kick it up a
notch and finally took the fight to Swagger.
At the 28 minute mark, Bo locks in an armbar and then rolls him up for
the 1-2-3. Bo Dallas gets the win.
MJ
is in the back with the Ascension and promises that Team Rob will be no more
after their match.
Bobby
Lashley vs Bram w/ MVP is up next. Bram
makes his way out and he and MVP talk smack about Bobby. Lashley comes out and chases MVP out of the
ring. Bobby had this one all locked up
but constant interference from MVP kept Bram’s hopes alive. After choking Bobby in the corner, down the
ramp comes the Caped Crusader. MVP
panics and he takes off while being chased by the Caped Crusader. This allows Bobby to nail a Dominator and
make the cover to get the 1-2-3 at the 20 minute mark. Lashley celebrates with the fans at ringside
while Bram makes his way to the back.
Team
Rob is in the back cutting a promo and say that even though they are the David
to the Ascension’s Goliath, they will be victorious.
Our
next match is ready to take place. Both
Heath Slater and his opponent Prince Devitt are in the ring. This match was 100% even. Each man met the others blow with one of
their own. Devitt had the speed going
but Slater, a bit more of a ring veteran, managed the pace of the match. At the 18 minute mark, Devitt lays down some
knife edge chops but Slater nails his specialty move the Jumping Russian Leg
Sweep. He makes the cover and with a bit
of tight pulling, gets the win.
Master
Bull comes back out and says that at the next show, they will be doing a single
tournament to develop the Top 10 for both the North American and US Champions.
It
is time for the main event. Team Rob
(Rob Terry and Robbie E) make their way down to the ring and they don’t look
happy. New music hits and MJ makes his
way down with the Ascension. We won’t say this was a total ass-beating but
Team Rob held in there against the power of the Ascension. At the 18 minute mark, Rob Terry went for a
running powerslam but it got reversed and Konnor hit the Fall of Man for the
pin. After the match, Konnor and Viktor
double teamed Rob Terry. Both men took
Terry out of the ring and hit a double Fall of Man on Terry through the Spanish
announce table. Both men with MJ stood
tall as the show came to an end.
As
soon as the cameras stopped rolling, it got even more interesting. The World Tag Team Champions came out and
stared at the Ascension from the top of the ramp. Konnor, Viktor and MJ got in the ring and
called down the champs. Donnie B and MW3
began to make their way down but the Ascension met them first and a brawl
ensued. Both teams fought all the way to
the back with MJ laughing and clapping his hands the entire way.
The
Ascension is really starting to make a name for themselves. Stay Tuned as it’s going to start heating up
around here.
