HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #541

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We start the show right in GM Max McGillicutty’s office.  He announces that the team he has signed to a short term deal is none other than the Mexicali Flyers – Tornado en Fuego & El Dragon Insano.  One sticking point in their agreeing to sign was that they wanted a shot at the World Tag Team Titles.  Max told them that was reaching a bit so he offered them a non-title match with the stipulation that if they win, they will get a title match.  They agreed.

On to other business…tonight’s card.  Max says he wants to mix things up and says that tonight is going to be a Women’s Only Beat the Clock Challenge evening.  18 ladies will compete in a beat the clock challenge where the person who gets the win in the shortest amount of time will win a title match against the Champion Kimberly Kiccass tonight…right out there in that very ring (cheap pop).  Each match will be set with a max time of 15 min.  If a pin or submission doesn’t happen before the clock runs out, both ladies will be eliminated.  Once a time limit is established, the other competitors must get their win in less time otherwise they are out.

Ladies Beat the Clock challenge – starting with a 15 min time limit

Match #1:  Jazz Emmett vs Taylor Bella.  Jazz went on the offensive right away and controlled the match keeping Taylor on the defensive. Jazz hits Taylor with the Bankrupt Neck Breaker Slam at the 10 minute mark to get the win.   Time to Beat:  10 min

Match #2:  Betsy Cummings vs Starr Vixen:  Betsy attacked Starr before the bell rang ramming her into the unforgiving steel post.  Betsy hit a sunset flip and hooked the tights to score the pin at the 8 minute mark.  New time to beat:  8 min

Match #3:  The Duchess vs Lady Hermann.  The Duchess had the upper hand for the entire match but Lady Hermann would not lay down for the pin.  After a lengthy beating, the bell rings at the 15 minute mark and both ladies are eliminated.

Time to beat:  Still 8 minutes

Match #4:  Ravishing Raquel vs Felicia Cummings.  Raquel was on fire for this match but Felicia spent a lot of time on the outside of the ring.  That ended up costing Raquel the opportunity and this one ended in a draw.  Both ladies are eliminated.

Match #5:  Ravishing Ruby Princess vs Lexy Flexx.  Ruby owned this match and just like the last one, Lexy refused to lay down.  After the 8 min mark was passed, Ruby beat the snot out of Lexy until the 15 minute bell rang eliminating both ladies.

Time to beat:  Still 8 minutes

Match #6:  Missy Chick vs Southern Belle.  Belle owned the first part of this match but Missy soon took control but the 8 minute mark passed by like a speeding car the two just fought until the time limit ran out.  Both ladies are eliminated.

Match #7:  Madame Jade vs The British Crippler.  This was another close match that didn’t even see a single pin attempt until right before the 8 min mark.  However, no pin was made and this one passed that marker and sailed on to another draw.  Both ladies are eliminated.

Match #8:  Queen Beckett vs Scarlett Phoenix.  Queen Beckett controlled the early part of the match but just before the 8 min mark, Starr Vixen came out and distracted her royalness.  She missed her window but that gave Scarlett the little extra to score a pin after hitting a monkey flip at the 11 min mark.  Both ladies are eliminated.

Time to beat:  Still 8 minutes

Match #9:  Sarona Reiher vs El Gato Negro.  We are down to the final match.  If neither of these ladies can beat 8 minutes, Betsy Cummings will get the title shot tonight.  Betsy makes her way down to the ring and sits at commentary.  The Ladies Champion Kimberly Kiccass also comes out and sits at the other side of the commentary table.  The pressure is on!  Both ladies tried to pull out every stop and every dirty trick in the book to get an advantage but nothing seemed to work and the time flew by and the match was called when 8 minutes passed.  Frustrated, El Gato and Sarona both left the ring.

Now it is time for our main event.  Betsy Cummings, the challenger takes on the champion Kimberly Kiccass.  Not sure how Betsy managed to win her match when she was totally dominated by the champ in this one.  Kimberly never let up and Betsy tried on 2 occasions to get counted out but Kimberly brought her back in each time.  Finally, Betsy exited the ring for the 3rd time and decided she had had enough.   She left the ring and began walking away.  She gets counted out and Kimberly retains her title via countout at the 19 ½  min mark.  However, the rest of the ladies came back out (except her twin Felicia) and basically pushed Betsy around saying she wasted a shot any of them would have bled for.  They collectively attack Betsy and she manages to escape and runs to the back with the rest of the ladies roster in tow.  Kimberly posed with the title a few moments and then left.

Thanks for reading.  Be sure to tune back in for more action.
