HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #539

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  The show begins with a video recap of the “teacher” segment the Masked Gentleman held in MG’s pit from last show.  After the recap ends, it cuts to King CJ standing in front of the monitor watching it.  “that was a good bit…MG is getting creative...”  He turns to the camera and continues…”wow a lesbian love scene huh....nothing like to HOT females to catch my attention…ladies…the kings scepter awaits ha ha…hell, miss samantha even really knows how to stoke that cigar...but damn that the masked gimp sure is 1 ugly woman... and immediately after the king whips your ass in front of each and every star in the lumberjack match ....then drags your ‘s and m’ bondage mask across that cold steel in your cage match the king is going to take his new concubine miss samantha to the back and give her the royal treatment shes been begging for....and after the 3rd and final match the king will have taken your women, your title, your dignity and your title...and any shot of getting any of them back…with him!!!

Pyro goes off and our show is ready to go.  The Muscles Trio (Weasley, Thorpe & McGuire) all head down to the ring.  They say that when the Steel Curtain and Biceps Bannerman were the champs, they were out defending the trophy all the time.  However, once the 5th Column won the trophy, they’ve been absent from the scene. Muscles McGuire calls them cowards.  This prompts the 5th Column’s manager Ant Graham to come out.  Graham chastises the Muscles saying they could not beat the Curtain and Bannerman but his team could.  Graham says that if the Muscles want a taste of another beatdown, his team is willing to oblige but it will NOT be for the trophy.  The 5th Column (Baron von Blood, Oswald Zimmerman & Karl Braun) head down to the ring with their manager and this one starts almost immediately.

Graham was a non factor in this match and so was the 5th Column.  Needless to say, the Muscles Trio ANNIHALATED the trophy holders (44 to 155) and ended mercifully at 11 minutes after Weasley pinned Oswald with the Muscles Crush.   The 5th Column recovered and re-entered the ring with chairs taking out the Muscles.  This prompted Ivan Dragovich, & Wendell Hammerschimdt to run down to attack the 5th Column.  After the Column bailed, Ivan reveals they are challenging for the 6 man trophy.  Braun says Ivan’s taken one too many chair shots as there are only two of them, not 3.  Ivan then reveals their new partner and Otto Ruthless joins them in the ring.  The new team stands victorious while the Column backs up the ramp staring at the new threat.  (11 min for the match, 5 for the segment)

The US Champion Texas Wildfire is here and it is revealed he gets to defend his title tonight against Smasher #2 in the Main Event.  He says he is ready.

We go back to the ring for our next match.  Starr Vixen makes her way out to the ring to a good pop from the crowd.  Her opponent comes out next and it’s Jazz Emmett.  Before the match can begin, Queen Beckett makes her way out to the ring and sits at commentary.  Jazz used the distraction and controlled the match for the first 6 minutes.  After that, Starr hit her with a Flying Fivearm and that changed the whole pace of the match.  Starr then owned her opponent and got quite a few pin attempts but Jazz kept kicking out.  As the time limit was nearing expiration, Jazz hits a double knee backbreaker but Starr shakes it off and hits Jazz with the Flying Fivearm.  The ref made the count (Jazz was OUT) 1…2…and the bell rang bringing this one to a draw.  Queen Beckett immediately left commentary and hit the ring and attacked Starr but she instead hurled her royalness out of the ring.  Beckett was pissed but refused to get back in the ring and she eventually left.  (20 min draw)

Backstage, the Steel Curtain (Buzz and Starbuck Steel) are being interviewed and they say that tonight they will prove they should be at the top of the Tag Team division when they take on P&L (Phat Sol & Red Hot Lucas Johnston).  Buzz says that everyone makes mistakes (alluding to Max forgetting they had a title defense under their belts therefore entitling them to a rematch) and they WILL become the champs again.  Just as they were leaving, Starbuck looks at the camera and says “Word”.

We go back to the ring for more 6 man tag team action.  This time it is to see who will be the #1 contenders to the trophy.  First, the Huber Clan (Butch, Ferb and Junior) make their way down to the ring.  Next, the Snake Pit (Niven, Leiton and Tobias).  The Pit all raise their arms, make a fist and touch gloves as this one gets ready to kick off.  The Hubers had control of the match more often but the Pit just kept battling back.   As the match began to wind down, Junior Huber nailed Leiton with a scoop power bodyslam.   Tobias joins them and then hurled Junior out of the ring.  Niven was on the outside of the ring and rushed at Junior hitting a spear and he got put right through the ringside barrier.  Junior is not able to make it back in the ring and ends up getting counted out.  The Snake Pit retain their spot via countout decision. (26 min)

The Fiend is backstage and he gets a pop.  Just as he is getting ready to be interviewed, he is attacked by the masked man known as Hangman #3.   After the refs and shirts came in to break it up, the Fiend challenges Hangman #3 to a match which he accepts.  That will take place later.

We go back to the ring for our next match.  Phat Sol & Lucas Johnston (P&L) come out first with their manager the Ambassador.  Once they arrive in the ring, the music changes and the fans pop as the Steel Curtain make their way down.  The ref announces this will be a 20 minute match and Buzz starts to get upset but calms down saying they can do this.  Unfortunately for them, time was not on their side and even though they owned the match, they could not put P&L down for the 3 count.  The Ambassador played a much more crucial role in this match and kept his team moving.  Much to the dismay of the fans, the bell rings and this one ends in a time limit draw.   The Steel Curtain are not happy and they look like they want to continue the fight but after taking a step back, they leave instead as the fans cheer them.  P&L got a decent pop too for their performance.  Before leaving, Phat Sol gets on the mic and asks the Ambassador to set them up against the new champs for a shot at the belts.  The Ambassador says he cannot do that as he represents them and also what is best for him and that is Magnum Kone and Pete the PUN-isher as the tag team champs.  Lucas takes the mic and thanks the Ambassador for leading them this far but now…”YOU”RE FIRED!”  The fans pop even more as the Ambassador throws a fit in the ring.  The Tag Team Champs run down and attack P&L but Phat hits Magnum with the Phat-Phat and Lucas drops Pete with a flying dropkick sending him flying out of the ring.  The challengers stand tall as the Ambassador and the champs leave.  (20 min for the match; 5 for the segment)

GM Max McGillicutty looks around and says the Masked Gentleman was supposed to be on today’s show but he is nowhere to be found.  “I guess one less day of his arrogance is a treat for us all.”

We go to the ring and Hangman #3 makes his way down to the booing from the fans.  Not even waiting for him to get into the ring, the Fiend rushes down and goes right after the masked man.  The Fiend catches Hangman #3 with a dropkick and then gets kicked in the ribs by #3.  The Fiend hits his opponent with the Devil’s Reign (neckbreaker) but then Hangman #3 drops the Fiend throat first on the top rope and then locks in a Cobra Neck Wrench.  The Fiend taps out pretty quick.  Hangman #3 gets the very quick win and then grabs his hangman’s noose and puts it around the throat of the Fiend and hurls him over the top rope trying to “hang” him.  The Fiend struggles for just a few moments until the ref hits #3 to get him to drop the noose.  The Fiend falls to the floor; hurt but still alive.  Hangman #3 then grabs the ref and hurls him out of the ring.  Hangman #3 tries to go back after the Fiend but by now, enough refs and ‘shirts’ from the back come out to prevent further attacks.  (2 min for the match; 8 for the segment)

The Steel Curtain are backstage and they say that it’s time for another change.  They feel it’s time to put the ‘band’ back together and into the frame walks Biceps Bannerman.  They say they are going back after the 6 man trophy.

It’s time for the Main Event.  First, Smasher #2 walks down to the ring accompanied by his manager MJ.  Next, the champ’s music hits and Texas Wildfire comes out to the loudest pop of the night.  Wildfire started off strong but when the Super Shockmaster came out, Smasher #2 took advantage and began beating the champ mercilessly.  After pacing around the ring and not wanting to wait any longer, the Super Shockmaster got in the ring and attacked Texas Wildfire prompting the DQ.  Smasher #2 was pissed as he almost had the champ where he wanted him but SS got right into his face and asked if he wanted any part of him.  MJ entered the ring and took his man to the back.  Super Shockmaster then picked up Texas Wildfire and set him up in the corner.  He then charged but TW got the cobwebs cleared just in the nick of time and moved and SS caught nothing but air….and turnbuckle.  Winded, he turned and TW hit SS with a Texas Bionic Elbow that dropped SS.  The Super Shockmaster rolled out of the ring and made his way to the back cursing at Wildfire “I’ll get you punk…just you wait”.  Texas Wildfire celebrated with the fans before leaving.

GM Max came out after the end of the show and thanked everyone for attending.  He makes the announcement that for the next show, they are taking HCW on the road and will be in Kansas City, Missouri next.

Stay tuned for our next exciting episode.
