Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_8.10

Hello. Wow, this has been a busy month for wrestling news. We just got this in. It comes from the head-honcho of the NWWA - the owner (and jackass) Negronomicon.

From the Desk of NWWA Chief of Operations Negronomicon

To the wrestlers, employees and fans of the NWWA, the worlds finest wrestling organization. It has come to my attention that there are a number of people both inside and outside the NWWA that are unhappy with certain aspects of how I choose to run my (and I stress this) MY business. I am far too busy trying to keep this company afloat to have to deal with this nonsense, but I will acquiesce and deal witth this as such:

1. The new championship belts were redesigned at GREAT expense. The paper that is used in the process are made from the finest Brazilian mahogany and are hand crafted in Germany. Anyone saying anything negative about them will be fired.

2. Yes, that wrestler What's-his-name was fired for having a stupid hair cut. I will not tolerate stupid haircuts in my organization. If you can't get something as simple as good grooming habits together, how can you expect to be as good as wrestler as myself? Anyone with bad grooming habits will be fired.

3. Matches that are not wrestled to the caliber I expect from those under my employee will be immediately re-wrestled. If they are still not up to snuff, then both wrestlers will be fired.

4. I understand times are tough, but there is no "I" in team! So, effective immediately, I will be asking certain under-performing wrestlers to start helping in selling tickets to our shows. You will be assigned a quota that needs to be hit in order to stay with the team. Get the fans to the show. Do whatever is necessary to accomplish this. We need to get the butts in the seats! Anyone who cannot perform will be fired.

5. Lastly, the fans. I am hard on the wrestlers because they need to be pushed to perform on a high level every night. But your house needs to be put in order too. Your incessant booing and catcalling to me and my organization has not gone without notice and will not be tolerated. So, from here on out, any fan that I deem acting foolish will be removed from the arena and banned from any and all future shows.

That is all...now if you will excuse me, I have actual work to do.-N

Well, I can only assume the NWWA lockerroom will be in an uproar over this. As soon as we get feedback from the wrestlers, we will get their comments posted here.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_8.9

Hello fans. We only have one real newsworthy piece of information and it is revolving around the World Tag Team titles and the NWWA Tag team belts. The Hardy boys had a match to determine the true number one contender for the NWWA tag titles when they took on the team of Tommy Dreamer and the Bruiser. Tommy Dreamer ended up costing them their spot when he attacked Matt with a singapore cane causing the disqualification. This allowed the Hardys to move to the number one spot and challenge the World’s Greatest Tag Team of Haas and Benjamin for the NWWA tag belts.

The Hardys controlled the majority of the match with constant double teams on the champs. Benjamin got a bit of luck and trapped Jeff in a NCAA leglock. Jeff appeared to be in a lot of pain and after being stuck in the hold for a minute, Matt was finally able to get in and make the save. The ref ended up sending Matt to the outside again which allowed the champs to do a double team of their own and ended up getting the pin but Matt managed a save. Another double team by the champs on Matt and as Charlie went for the pin, Shelton delivered a sliding dropkick taking out the leg of Jeff Hardy. Jeff dropped to the outside of the ring and was not able to make it back in to save Matt. Shelton and Charlie retained the NWWA Tag team titles.

In the back, they were called into the office of the Negronomicon. N went on to tell them how disappointed he was in them (although secretly he did not want them to win). He told them that the Steiners were here and were putting their belts on the line against them. Matt and Jeff tried to complain but Negronomicon said he wouldn’t hear of it. “You boys have an opportunity to bring the World Tag team titles here to the NWWA and I expect nothing less.” Jeff went on to say that he was hurt and didn’t think they would be at their best “. “Well”, Negronomicon added, “if you don’t win, then there will be severe repricussions. If you don’t come back with the belts, Jeff, you can considered yourself out of a job. That’s right. You don’t win the belts, your career is finished.” Matt started to complain but N said that if he wants the same treatment, he’d be happy to bestow it on him too. The Hardys went to the ring for their match against the Steiners.

The Steiners came down and met the Hardys in the ring. Negronomicon came out. “For those who don’t know, there are two retirements at stake here. If the Hardys don’t bring the tag belts home, then Jeff is out of a job. If the Steiners lose, then Scott is hereby drafted to the NWWA and Rick will be out of a job. Let the match begin.

The Steiners took control early on with constant doubleteaming. They dominated Jeff and constantly on his leg. When Matt made it into the ring, the double-teaming continued. Rick caught Matt with a huge clothesline from the top rope while Scott hit a Frankensteiner on Jeff. Matt was dumped over the top rope and the Steiners hit the Doomsday Device on Jeff. Scott did some pushups in the ring whiile Rick made the cover and got the 1-2-3. The Steiners retained the belts. Negronomicon was furious. He was still steaming when Rick and Scott walked by with their titles intact. Negronomicon addressed the Hardys still in the ring. “You boys made your bed and now you have to lay in it. Jeff, you are FIRED. Clear out your stuff and I want you out of here in 30 minutes.” Jeff took a few minutes in the ring to address the fans and say goodbye. “This isn’t goodbye forever. You will see me in the ring again. Until then, take care.”
The fans gave Jeff an standing ovation as he and Matt left the ring together.

More to follow soon.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_8.8 – Fallout from the PPV

Hello fans. Well, this last PPV had to be one of our better ones. We saw the Negronomicon defeat the Undertaker for the NWWA World title and then the next night, defeat Booker T to be come the new Undisputed Heavyweight Champion. We also saw Christian outted from the Posse and Undertaker released but immediately signed to a contract in the CSWA. He was told he will get the first title shot at now World Champion Booker T. These two guys have had an on-again/off-again feud over the last 6 years. With the Undertaker in the CSWA now, I’m assuming they will pick up where they left off in the old HWF (now the NWWA). Booker T had some comments for the Undertaker:

“Yo Sucka. Its one thing to follow me around from group to group but this stalking thing is gettin ridiculous. Everywhere I go, you follow. Are you some lost puppy dog or what brah? You sign with the CSWA and in management’s infinite wisdom, they immediately give you a title shot against me. You haven’t earned anything in the eyes of the CSWA fans. You should have to earn a shot before you just take it. Now, I know that the only way you were going to get a shot at my World Title is to coerce management into thinking you’re all that. I know better and I will prove it in the ring. SUCKKKKKAAAAAAAA!”

The feud between MW3 and Shawn Michaels has come to an end. In a sign of respect, Shawn shook the had of MW3. MW3 did not appear to be too upset as he did get to keep his mask at the insistance of Shawn Michaels.

Negronomicon called the the team of DX into his office. Shawn came in with Hunter. Negronomicon started off by telling HHH that he should have won the match and wasn’t aggressive enough. HHH replied stating that he did what he had to and if that’s not good enough for the illustrious GM, then he has two words for you. Negronomion said that he will not be talked to that way. He then addressed Shawn: “Shawn, you won your match against that schlub MW3. I’m sorry but I really expected more from the Showstopper. I really don’t understand why the two of you are such wusses. " HHH addressed the GM and said “You can shove it, jackass. We can outwrestle you anytime, anywhere. Hell, both Shawn and I can beat you with one arm tied behind our backs.” “Is that so?” replied the GM. “I’d love to see that. In fact, here’s what I’m gonna do. You and Shawn will both get your title matches today. It will be a handicap match. You and Shawn against me. You will both have one arm tied behind each of your backs. So even though we all wrestled pretty hard at the PPV, except you HHH you stupid slacker, you can both get down to the ring now.” Shawn looked concerned but HHH assured him they would prevail.

Down in the ring, DX was announced and the audience was told that Negronomicon would defend his world title against them. DX was making their way to the ring strutting their stuff. In the back, Negronomicon was leaving his office but he was talking to someone still in there. “I will call you down when it is time. Until then, wait for my signal.” . A special guest referee was annouonced and it was none other than Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett came down to the ring. Negronomicon went to the ring as his name was called. As soon as he got there, the ref had already tied one arm behind HHH and one behind Shawn. Just before the bell was ready to get rung, Negronomion brought in a chair and nailed both Shawn and HHH with it. He proceeded to beat the holy hell out them both. He told Jarrett to ring the bell. Jarrett did. Negronomicon went for the cover first on Michaels and got the 1-2-3. He told Jarrett not to ring the bell yet. This match is now a no-DQ. Shawn was tossed out of the ring and N proceeded to beat down on HHH. Hunter never got any offense in. N connected with the Black Doom and then as Jarrett counted, he pulled Hunter up at 2. A flurry of rights and lefts were turning HHH’s face into sausage. He connected with another Black Doom and then pulled him up at 2. Jarrett started to reprimand N but Jarrett was just pushed back. Negronomicon connected with a snap suplex and then went to the top rope. He connected on Hunter with a big splash. He made the cover again and this time allowed Jarrett to get make the 1-2-3. Negromicon called out the Posse to remove the trash from ringside. The Posse came down and removed DX from the ringside area. Negronomicon called for a mic: “Jarrett, you appear to be a good egg so I tell you what. For the officiating you have done here today, I am moving you in front of Christian for your World title shot. JJ was flabbergasted. “Thank you sir. When, may I ask, will I get my opportunity?” “First,” Negronomicon said I dissolve you from the tag team division. You will no longer be partnered with Sting. Your opportunity comes Now, but there will not be a match. Based on the conversation we had in the back, I know that unlike that ungrateful jackass Christian, you will watch my back. You will continue to keep an eye on things for me. For this, I am now awarding you the World Heavyweight Championship!” Jarrett took the belt and raised it over his head. “Jeff, you are now officially the newest member of the Posse.” Both men shook hands as Negronomicon raised the arm of the new champ. From the audience, Christian ran in with a chair but Jeff and the Negronomicon were able to escape without getting hurt. They both left the ring together laughing at and mocking Christian.

In the back, Negronomicon said that he still wanted Sting in tag competition only so he created the new tag team of Sting and Fit Finley.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_8.6 – “Over the Edge” PPV results:

Hello fans. Welcome back to our newsletter. In this issue, we will recap the results of the Over the Edge PPV. Due to the size of the card, the event took place over two days.

The show began with the NWWA (formerly the HWF) owner the Negronomicon coming to the ring. He took the mic: “The first match of the night will feature ME. I am calling down the Undertaker now for my title shot at the World Heavyweight title. As soon as the Undertaker came down, the bell rang to signal the beginning of the match. The Undertaker starts off by taking down N with a big foot to the face. N connects with a Doom Bomb but gets tossed out of the ring. He makes it back in at the 5 count. A chokeslam from the Undertaker is met with a thrust kick from N. N connects with a snap suplex but only gets a 2 count. Negronomicon hits a Dragon Suplex and Undertaker stops him with another foot to the face. Undertaker hits a chokeslam but N counters with another Dragon Suplex. Another Doom bomb from N and another visit to the outside of the ring by N. He makes it back in by 3. Taker hits a clothesline and N gets in his face and bitch-slaps him. Undertaker is NOT happy. Taker gets N up for the Last ride but N wiggles out of it. The Worlds Greatest Tag team (NWWA tag champs) comes down. Negronomicon throws Undertaker out of the ring. He immediately tells the ref this is now a No DQ match. Haas and Benjamin attack the Undertaker and then toss him back to their waiting boss. Undertaker suprises everyone when he hits the Last Ride on N and almost gets a 3 count if it weren’t for Benjamin putting his bosses foot on the rope. N pokes Undertaker in the eye and then hits the Black Doom. The ref makes the count 1….2…..3!!!!!! We have a NEW NWWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. Unbelievable!

Undertaker gets up and starts to go after N but then the entire Posse come down and put Taker down. They end up dragging him to the top of the ramp after the vicious beatdown. Negronomincon pulls out some Tar and Feathers and proceeds to cover the former champ in the goo. “Undertaker, you’re presence is no longer required here. You can leave. ..and I mean for good. The NWWA is no place for washed-up has-beens. If you want to go to the CSWA, whatever. Just leave. "

In the back, Undertaker is met by Jeff Meyers and William Regal “Taker, of course you are welcome in the CSWA if you so choose” said Jeff Meyers. “His loss will be our gain. In fact, I tell you this. If you choose to sign with us now” he turns to William Regal “William, please hand me a contract.” He turns back to the Undertaker and says “If you sign with us NOW, I will guarantee you a World Title Shot. #1 contender after the PPV is completed. Right off the bat. What do you say?” Undertaker said “Where do I sign?” William Regal showed Undertaker where to sign. The CSWA has a new acquisition….The Undertaker. Regal and Meyers couldn’t be more proud.

The next match on the card is showcasing the return of Mohammed Hassan taking on the Super Warrior. Hassan came down firs t followed by his manager Davari. Super Warrior came out next. Right off the bat, Hassan hits a suplex and goes for a pin. SW kicks out just before 2. Hassan hits another suplex and this time gets the long 2 count. SW hits a reverse neckbreaker and Hassan kicks him in the gut for it. Hassan eye gouges the SW but he manages to get Hassan in a cobra clutch. A quick grab of the ropes broke the hold. Another ripping eye gouge and Hassan makes a cover. He almost gets 3 but not quite. SW tosses Hassan out of the ring but he’s back in almost as quick. Hassan is much quicker than his opponent and after Hassan hits the third towering suplex, he makes the cover in the middle of the ring and as the ref counts 1…..2…..3. Hassan is declared the winner and now gets SW’s spot for the CSWA Cruiserweight title.

Next on the card is Randy Orton taking on Mick Foley. The winner of this match wins both slots for future title shots. Foley was in his Cactus Jack attire and unlike the last time these two met in the WWF ™, he was not going to be Randy’s whipping boy. Foley started off with a belly to back suplex and a pin which he only got a 1 count. Randy got up and posed for some ladies at ringside and Foley ripped hair out of his head in frustration. Orton gets back in and hits a standing elbow and Mick repays him with a stomp on his throat. Randy recovers and hits the RKO but only gets a two count. Mick gets up and hits another Belly to Belly suplex and as he goes for the pin, the ref counts 1….2….3. Mick Foley is the winner of the match and will be awarded Orton’s shot for the World Title. Randy has nothing now.

With the addition of the Undertaker to the CSWA, that ended up pushing Samoa Joe out of the World title contention and moved to the vacated spot for the US title. Joe didn’t seem to mind.

The Dudley’s were up next defending the World Tag team titles against the Steiners. William Regal came out to make an announcement: “One of the stipulations of this match is that if the Steines lose, then Rick must retire. I am adding another stipulation….If the Steiners lose, Scott will be traded to the NWWA. For those that do not know or remember, Negronomicon and Scott Steiner has some unfinished business between them. It will be interested to see what happens. The Steiners came out and glared at Regal as they went to the ring. They were then followed by the World Tag Team Champs. The Dudley’s owned the matchup at the beginning but slowly lost their momentum from the highly motivated Steiners. The Dudley’s only got in one double-team. The Steiners controlled the majority of the match with quick tags. The end came after a Frankensteiner from Scott on Bubba and Devon couldn’t get in the ring fast enough to make the save. The winners of the match and NEW World Tag Team Champions – The Steiners. This prompted the Negronomicon to come out. “I traded away Undertaker earlier tonight and you know what, Scott, you are now my property. I don’t want Rick. Since opposing members from different federations cannot hold a combined championship, I am requiring you to defend your titles again. I believe the Big Show and Abyss are next. So without further ado, let’s get this next match underway. If you can survive this one, I’ll let you stay. If not, you are mine and Rick is still gone.”

In a match added by the owner of the NWWA, the Negronomicon, we have the World tag belts being defended for the second time. Scott started off against the Big Show. The Steiners ruled this match too. Even with the combined power of the challengers, it wasn’t enough to break the motivation of the Steiner Brothers. Scott gets the win by pinning the Big Show after a double team. Negronomicon came out looking pissed. “I’ll get you next time Steiner. Guaranteed.”

Negronomicon met up with the Hardys in the back. He told them that they were up next against the team of Donnie B and Mark Henry. He expects them to win. They will also be receiving the next World Tag Team title shot and he expects them to walk out with the belts or else. Negronomicon goes on to tell the rest of his group that their performances at this PPV will determine how he does the ranking for the NWWA Tag Team titles. He announces that Shawn Michaels will remain the tag team of DX and they will not be allowed to persue tag team belts. He also reminds them that the Hardys, the Bruiser and Tommy Dreamer, Dibiasi & Rhodes, Sting and Jarrett are all tag teams and CANNOT compete for any NWWA singles titles.

Next on the card is Samoa Joe taking on Rhyno for the #3 spot for the CSWA World Title. Rhyno and Joe start off like gangbusters with Rhyno controlling early. This led to Joe motioning to someone in the back. Out came his new mentor, TAZ! Taz came down to ringside and immediately made an impact. He gave something, probably a foreign object to Joe and the match continued. Joe hit Rhyno with it and locked him in a camel clutch. Rhyno made it to the ropes. He threw Rhyno to the ropes and knocked him outside the ring. Rhyno got back in when the ref hit 7. Joe choked Rhyno on the ropes, flung him off and went for a pin. He barely got a one count. Rhyno connected with a belly to belly suplex but Joe came back with a muscle buster for a pin attempt. He got 2. Rhyno tried to make a comeback but this time TAZ interferred again by choking him on the ropes. Rhyno got out of the ring and started to chase TAZ. Joe blindsided Rhyno and tossed him back in the ring. He covered him with his feet on the ropes. 1….2..3. Samoa Joe with Taz is the winner of this match. Rhyno moves to the last spot for the US title and Joe takes his place.

Jeff Jarrett and Sting vs. Tommy Dreamer and the Bruiser (also for NWWA tag team ranking) was next. Sting and Jarrett came down first followed by Dreamer and the Bruiser….and their new manager…none other than…The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiasi. Sting and the Bruiser started off first. Jarrett immediately comes in for a double team but then so did Deamer. The ref finally gets the odd men out and Jarrett is in with Dreamer. Dreamer lands a knee drop on Jarrett. Bruiser comes in for 2 minutes of double teaming. Jarrett somehow manages to roll up the Bruiser for a pin attempt but only gets a 2 count. All of a sudden, the Bruiser and Dreamer started a barrage of offensive on Sting. They double teamed and went for pin attempts all of which Sting managed to kick out of. Dreamer is in the ring and he nails Sting with a Singapore Cane shot. Sting goes down. Dreamer makes the cover but Sting kicks out at 2. Sting tries to scream in Dreamer’s face and receives another Cane shot for good measure. Sting is out. The Bruiser hits the ring to keep Jarrett out. Dreamer make the cover again and this time gets the 3. Your winners – The Bruiser and Tommy Dreamer. Bruiser and Dreamer will receive higher tag team rankings in the NWAA for winning this bout.

Another match has been added to the card. HHH taking on AJ Styles. This will come later in the evening.

Next on the card is John Cena taking on CM Punk in a Steel Cage. Cena starts off with a side suplex but Punk goes to the cage first by hitting Cena with a running powerslam into the cage. Punk is outwrestling Cena. At the five minute mark, Punk goes to the top of the cage and hits a B52 kneedrop onto Cena. He makes the cover but only gets a two count. Cena manages to recover and rubs Punk’s eyes into the cage blinding him. Punk backs into the ref knocking him out. All of a sudden, a masked man comes down and throws Cena a chain. He begins to choke Punk but there is no ref to stop it. The ref is starting to get up but Punk bodyslams Cena on him again knocking him out. Punk blinds Cena by rubbing his face into the cage and then Punk gets to the cage again and chokes Cena against it. The ref is still out and unable to officiate. Cena is tossed viciously into the cage. The ref starts to stir. Punk goes to charge Cena but at the last minute he moves out of the way. The bell rings signifying the end of the match. This prompts William Regal to come out and restart the match. “We need a real winner here, not some bogus win by time limit draw”. The match continues. We go another 5 minutes and just as Cena is getting his second wind, Punk tosses him into the ref knocking him out again. This time Regal calls the match. You know, we can’t have our ref being knocked out all the time so I am modifying this match to now be a peer-6 brawl. The match will now continue (with a new ref) under the new rules. Just as the match begins again, Punk nails Cena with a superkick and goes for the cover but only gets a two count. Cena throws some light acid but most of it misses Punk so he is only incapacitated for a moment. Cena hits the “You can’t see me” but only gets a 2 count. Cena throws Punk out of the ring and he lands on his head. He is knocked out cold. The ref finally calls an end to this match after 34 grueling minutes. I don’t think this one is over by a longshot.

The next match had AJ Styles vs HHH. HHH dictated the pace of the match and AJ stayed with him all the way. At one point during the match, the Negronomicon came down and ordered HHH to turn up the heat “Whatever you need to do to win this match” were the words spoken by the NWAA owner. He left after making his wishes known. HHH resorted to using a sledgehammer twice on AJ but never got a pin from it. Both men traded moves and neither one really gained a huge advantage over the other. When HHH took the lead, AJ would battle back. Finally, AJ tossed HHH from the ring and HHH ended up getting counted out. At first, it looked like HHH was going to attack AJ but he finally shook AJ’s hand and apologized for using the sledgehammer. Negronomicon was watching on a monitor in the back and seemed really disappointed in the ending.

The final match of the night was Santino Marella defending his new X-division title against Christopher Daniels. Before the match, Santino got a pep-talk from the NWAA owner to make sure he did what he needed to in order to hang on to that title. Santino held his own until the 6 minute mark and Daniels opened up all over him. Santino couldn’t keep up and was barely kicking out of pin attempts. Finally, Santino got a break…Daniels tossed him out of the ring. He took this time to hightail it out of the ring. He ended up getting counted out. Daniels won the match but did not win the title.

That is all for now. More to follow later.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_8.7 – “Over the Edge” PPV results – Day 2

Hello, we are back to recap the matches from Day 2 of the “Over the Edge” PPV.

The first match of the evening had Chris Masters defending the North American title against Stevie Richards. Richards is trying to make an impact here. For 3 minutes he dominated Masters never allowing him any offense. At the 4 minute mark, clearly frustrated, Masters tosses Richards out of the ring. He then handcuffs him to the ringside barrier. Richards is unable to make it back in the ring by the 10 count so Masters is announced as the winner by Count out.

Our next match had Carlito defending the IC title against Golddust. This next match went a full 28 minutes before seing the winner. Golddust took control early; Carlito came in and held his own before taking control. Most of the match was pretty even. Until the final minutes of the match did Carlito actually kick it into gear. In the end, Golddust was no match for the Cabana groin shot. Carlito made the cover and got the win. He holds onto the IC title. In the back, he was congratulated by other members of the Posse. So far, not including Negronomicon’s win over the Undertaker, he was the only member of the Posse to get an actual win – not one by countout or getting counted out or DQ’d. Christian congratulated him and then went over to talk with his boss. “I know you said you had plans for me but I’m really not comfortable just sitting around here. “ “I’ll tell you what” said Negronomicon. “I can’t give you the title yet since I have not had my match with Khali. As soon as those losers in the CSWA get their matches done and over with, I can have my match and I can award you the World title as I had promised.” Christian managed a smile but it didn’t help him feel any better.

The cruiserweight title match is next with MVP taking on Elijah Burke. MVP controlled the majority of the match and even though there were lots of high-impact moves happening, the crowd really didn’t get into it that much. MVP walks away with the win after a 14 minute battle.

Next, MVP is taking on Batista for the TV title. MVP is not at his best as he just fought for 14 min. Batista came down to the ring. MVP took up right where he left off with Burke. I don’t think Batista was expecting such a fresh opponent. In two minutes though, Batista had managed to take the lead. It wasn’t until MVP hit Batista with a superkick almost knocking him out that he finally regained his composure. With Batista on the defense, MVP hit a sunset flip and managed the 1.2.3. MVP is now the NEW CSWA TV Champion in addition to the Cruiserweight title holder.

MVP stayed in the ring as Booker T came down for his match for the US title. MVP is still looking fresh in the ring. Booker hits MVP with a headbutt but the challenger came back with a superkick almost taking off the head of the US champ. Booker connects with the Bookend but it’s not enough to take down MVP who connects with a judo chop. A scissors kick from the champ and he gets a 2 count. MVP battles back but Booker gets him in a sleeperhold. He is trying to wear the challenger down. He lays him down and goes for a pin but MVP kicks out. An eye rake from the challenger is met with another sleeperhold and pin attempt from the champ. Kickout at 2. A spinning smash from the champ and another cover and another 2 count. Booker tosses MVP from the ring but he is back in fairly quick. Booker has control now and MVP is trying to get some offense in. Booker hit the spinnarooni and went for the pin. MVP kicks out AGAIN. Booker is starting to get frustrated. This match almost goes the distance. At the 19 minute mark, Booker connects with a fabulous dropkick and this time he is able to get the 1-2-3. Booker T is still the US Champion.

Great Khali comes out not giving Booker any rest time. If Booker wants his title shot, he needs to bring his A-game now.
Booker tosses the champ out of the ring to give himself more time to recover from the last match. Khali overpowers Booker and Booker needs to use his speed to stay out of reach from the champ. Khali hits his signature slam a few times but it’s not enough to keep the Booker-Man down. Booker battles back with a scissors kick and a cover but only a 2 count. Khali misses a huge boot and Booker catches him with the Bookend. Booker makes the cover. The ref counts 1…..2…..3. Booker T is the NEW CSWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. Booker goes on to meet the Negronomicon for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship. That match is next.

Booker T vs the Negronomicon is happening now. This match is pitting the respective World Champions against each other to see who will become the NEW Undisputed Champion replacing the ousted Kurt Angle. Negronomicon starts off by bitch-slapping Booker T. Booker responds by tossing N out of the ring where he almost gets counted out. A doom bomb from the Negronomicon is met by a sleeperhold from Booker. N connects with a thrust kick and Booker hits a forearm smash. N tosses Booker T out of the ring but Booker makes it back in by the 6 count. While he is distracted, Negronomicon connnects with a snap suplex and with his feet on the ropes, the ref counts 1…2….3!!!!! Negronomicon is now the NEW UNDISPUTED HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!! Good grief. This is insane. Booker is not happy in the ring and Negronomicon grabs his 2 belts and leaves. Booker is left in the ring complaining.

In the back, the Negronomicon is met by his Posse. They are all there congratulating him…except for Christian. Negronomicon walks over to him and says “I’m keeping my promise to you but I need you to do one thing first. I need you to give up the top contender spot for the World title. Obviously you can’t be the #1 contender and the champ at the same time.” Christian replies “Award me the belt and I will give up the spot immediately.” Negronomicon continues “That’s not how it works. Christian, I need you to prove to me that you are loyal. I can’t have loose cannons running around here.” Christian continued “I think I have done that by laying down for you in the ring. I gave up the #2 title in the NWWA because YOU asked ME to . I don’t think I have anything left to prove.” Negronomicon thought about it for a minute and said “You’re right. I’m wrong. Let’s go down to the ring and I will award you the title in front of everyone.”

The Posse in its entirety went down to ringside to support the new Undisputed Champion. Negronomicon got in the ring and took a mic. “Christian, you have done everything I have asked of you. You are a good soldier and I am glad to have you on our team. BUT…….I have asked you to do one more thing for me and you refuse. “ He turns to the rest of the Posse “I think it’s time for us to give this ‘soldier’ exactly what he deserves.” At that, the entire Posse attacked Christian beating him down. Masters put him in the masterlock, Haas and Benjamin stomped away on him. Santino and Carlito took turns slapping him down. Negronomicon then got in Christian’s face. “Chris, let him go.” Christian dropped but Negronomicon helped him back up, hit him with the Black Doom and left him laying there in the ring. “NO One disrespects me. This is MY federation. I am the OWNER. I am the World and Undisputed Heavyweight Champions. I will not be spoken to by garbage. Get this piece of crap out of here.” The Posse took delight in tossing Christian out of the ring. They all celebrated a bit more and then left the ring.

In the back, Booker T was celebrating his World title win and still a little sore from his match. All of a sudden, it felt like it had dropped 20 degrees in the room. The lights flickered and when they stopped, Undertaker was standing right in front of him. “Booker, you tried to run but you were not successful. I am here and I am the #1 contender for THAT title. You and I will fight once again for the championship and I will prove to you that my previous wins were not a fluke. I am the uncrowned champion and you know it. It will only be a matter of time and that belt, like all the others, will be mine.” He then turned and walked away before Booker could get a word in.

Chris Jericho approached William Regal and asked why he was not on tonight’s card. Regal thought his ego deserved the night off. Off to the side, Bobby Lashley hears this and chuckles. Jericho goes over to him and asks what he thinks is so funny. Lashley comments that Jericho is the resident clown and he makes people laugh at his stupidity. Jericho says that if he thinks he can handle the jockularity, maybe he should meet him in the ring. Bobby looks over to Regal who says “Sure, why not.” Both men get ready to head to the ring.

Bobby Lashley vs. Chris Jericho is another match created at the last minute. Bobby Lashley started off like a firecracker and like a sparkler, fizzled out. Jericho dominated the match and went for multiple pin attempts – all of which Bobby powered out of. It didn’t help that Jericho was being egotistical and making non-challant covers. Everytime Chris went for a pin, he was lax about it. Lashley was able to hang on till the end and when the bell rang, the match ended in a time limit draw. Jericho wasn’t happy about it but he really didn’t push it.

Our second to last match of the night is Donnie B and Mark Henry taking on the Hardy Boys. The Hardys’ future is at stake as Negronomicon was threatening them that if they did not win, there would be dire consequences. The Hardys proved to the world and Negronomicon why they are tag specialists. Jeff and Matt tagged in with ease and went for many pin attempts but could not pin Henry or Donnie B. The match ended up going 17 minutes with Mark Henry in the ring most of the time. In the end, Henry got pinned from a well placed fist drop from Matt. Donnie B was not able to make it in for the save. The Hardys retain their spot for the World Tag Team Titles. They will receive the next shot at the Steiners.

The final match of the evening will be MW3 vs Shawn Michaels for the services of Whisper. If Shawn loses, he must retire. If MW3 loses, he must unmask and show his real face – no makeup, no other masks. MW3 gets in the ring first with Whisper on his arm. Michaels follows and looks like a man determined. Michaels and MW3 lock up and the hold is quickly broken with an arm drag from MW3. Michaels rushed in and received a knee to the jaw for his efforts. Dazed, Michales then fell victim to the Spike. MW3 made a cover but Shawn kicked out. Shawn is thrown out of the ring but MW3 does not persue. Michaels starts to battle back with a flying bodypress off the ropes. As MW3 gets to his feet, Shawn hits with with Sweet Chin Music. He then falls down holding his knee. MW3 capitalizes by locking Shawn in the figure four but Shawn makes it to the ropes. MW3 then puts Shawn in the Sharpshooter but he won’t tap. MW3 throws Shawn to the ropes and Shawn connects with a flying forearm. MW3 is down. Shawn picks him up and hits a huge bodyslam in the middle of the ring. He goes to the top rope and connects with the flying elbow smash – 3 times. MW3 looks like he is out on his feet. He’s walking around in a daze. Shawn connects again with Sweet Chin Music and as he goes for the pin, MW3 reverses it into a roll-up but only gets a two count. Shawn goes for a suplex which is reversed into a dragon sleeper. Shawn is in trouble. The ref raises Shawn’s arm and it falls once, twice…NOPE. Shawn starts to “Hulk” up and with a flurry of punches, takes down MW3. MW3 goes to the top turnbuckle and hits a missile dropkick. Shawn, disoriented, hits the Sweet Chin Music again and MW3 goes down. Shawn crawls over to make the cover. The ref counts 1………2…………….3. Shawn Michaels is the winner of the match and Whisper joins back up with him. They have a tearful reunion as Shawn apologizes to his wife for the way he treated her. They rejoice and get ready to leave but then Shawn stops. He goes back to MW3 with a mic in hand. “I won the match. The agreement was for you to unmask.” MW3 begins to remove his mask when Shawn stops him. “I haven’t had an opponent that gave me such a run as you did. You have earned my respect.” They both shake hands and MW3 goes back to removing his mask. “Stop. I was wrong in asking you to unmask. You have proven to be a great opponent and hopefully the next time we meet, we will be on the same team.” “Thank you Shawn” MW3 replied. “It would be an honor.” They both shook hands and MW3 raised the arm of Michaels and Whisper and then left them to the adulation of the fans.

Thank you for joining us. We will be back soon.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_8.1

Hello fans and welcome to our first August newsletter. We were hoping to have the top 10 completed by now but as everyone suspected, Negronomicon is draggin his feet. He claims to be “busy” but we all know better. I feel we just have to keep waiting. Sorry about that.
In some interesting news, Chris Masters has been offered a contract in the HWF which he happily accepted. In fact, as part of his contract, Negronomicon offered Masters a shot at the North American title.

We keep trying to get with the Bruiser to schedule an interview but he seems to be “busy” too and keeps ignoring our requests. I wonder if something is up with him. In a surprise move, the Negronomicon has put another roster change in and this time he asked for Dreamer and the Bruiser. Regal ok’d the move and in exchange, CSWA willl get CM Punk and MW3. With the move to the CSWA, MW3 and Shawn Michaels as well as John Cena and Punk’s feuds all come to an end. At the PPV this month, both men will get one last shot at the other.

William Regal did announce yet another match between Dreamer and the Bruiser. This time, it is going to be a tag team match. With their move to the HWF, Tommy Dreamer teamed with Jeff Jarrett and the Bruiser teamed with Sting. Jarrett and Sting started off the match and neither one of their partners would tag in unless the other was in the ring first. We had about 8 minutes of Jarrett and Sting battling back and forth until both men finally made their respective tags and just as Dreamer and the Bruiser hit the ring, they attacked…..their partners. WHAT? Dreamer took out Jarrett and the Bruier tossed Sting over the top rope to the floor. Dreamer hit a DDT on Jarrett and made the cover. SWERVE! Tommy Dreamer and the Bruiser shook hands after the match and stood together over the body of Jeff Jarrett. Sting tried to get back in the ring but the Bruiser took him out with a Singapore Cane shot. With this new team, they were given the vacated 8th position for the tag team titles. Just like that.

Since they will not be in line for the title shot right away, William Regal announced the first match for the “Over the Edge” PPV this month: The Bruiser and Tommy Dreamer taking on Jeff Jarrett and Sting.

Also announced was the final matchup between CM Punk and John Cena. This will be a Steel Cage Match.

Our third match is MW3 vs. Shawn Michaels. If Shawn loses, he must retire. If he wins, he regains the services of Whisper.

It was also decided that with the HWF and CSWA roster as it is, instead of a top 10, we will have a top 7. In the HWF, it was also decided that members of a tag team can be placed in the title contention but will not be allowed to hold a singles title if they are currently holding the tag team titles. All members of the CSWA are allowed to go for singles titles if they choose. As of right now, the only team that said they would not is the team of the Dudley’s while they hold the Tag Team Titles.

Also, William Regal and Jeff Meyers announced the return to the ring by none other than Samoa Joe. Joe had finished his suspension without further incident so he was allowed to return back to the ring.

Jeff Meyers also followed up with an announcement of his own: “ It is with great pleasure that I bring back a wrestler; a performer that, with the gimmick he was stuck with, was out of place. He didn’t fit into the brand as his character existed. So, it is with great pride that the CSWA is now home to none other than……………..Mohammed Hassan! That’s right. He was the first person to ever hold all the championships at one time. The only other time it was done was by the late great Chris Benoit. We hope he able to stay around longer this time.”
With this announcement, Hassan is the only wrester in the HWF/CSWA to not be an active wrestler elsewhere. We welcome him back.

Hassan came out and addressed the crowd: “The last time I was here, I made an IMPACT. I did something that had never been done before. I held all the singles titles including the Undisputed Championship. I was untouchable. One person managed to steal the world title from me and he is the one I will be challenging first. Do you remember who you are? Since most of you don’t remember me, I’ll assume that this little bit of information slipped by you too. I am speaking to none other than the Super Warrior. That’s right. Even though I won it back, you stole the World title from me disrupting my reign as the solidified champion. At the next PPV, Super Warrior, I challenge you. One on one; but I want something first. I want to challenge you for your shot at the CSWA Cruiserweight title. It doesn’t matter what you say in response because this has already been approved by William Regal and owner Jeff Meyers. I will see you in a few weeks.”

More to follow.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_8.2

Hello fans. In this installment, we will cover all the top 7 challengers for their respective singles belts as well as the top 8 for the Tag Team Title. We waited for as long as we could so N said to create the list without him. After the list was finalized and brought to his attention, Negronomicon did speak with William Regal about how Donnie B “held him down/back” all those years so he said that he was putting himself as a top contender for the World Title held by the Undertaker. He told Regal this was happening so that was that. Regal then questioned his usefullness as GM for the HWF. Negronomicon said “You know, I was wondering about that myself. I can’t fire you but I will run this organization how I see fit.” Regal then informed Negronomicon that he will officially retire as GM of the HWF. “As long as you are in command here, there is no need for me. I will remain GM of the CSWA but now the HWF is all yours….as you say, to run as you see fit.” Regal walked out. Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_8.3

Hi fans. Welcome back. We have a few more updates prior to this month’s Over the Edge PPV. First, we got a promo from the Super Warrior in response to Hassan’s last comment.

“Do you hear that Warriors? The whispering? The whispering on the wind from the desert? It speaks to me. It says someone has crawled back out of the sands of obscurity that I left him buried in. He seeks redemption. He seeks revenge. What he seeks and what he will find are 2 different things. What that terrorist will actually find this time is TOTAL and ABSOLUTE destruction at the hands of the Super Warrior! “

Well, sounds about the same as what he normally says. I guess nothing new there. The match between the Super Warrior and Mohammed Hassan will also have something at stake: SW’s #2 spot for the Cruiserweight title.

Next, we received some updates from the Negronomicon. He has been secretly meeting with members of the HWF behind closed doors. The two people we saw go into his office today were Santino Marella and Chris Masters. We are not sure what is up here but I am sure it’s no good.

This reporter was able to listen in on the “private” conversation between Negronomicon, Masters and Santino. “This needs to stay between us. No one else can know. I need people I can trust. If you are willing to do this for me, I will be sure to reward you for your efforts. Santino, I said I liked you. You are entertaining. Masters, I hired you for your muscle. I need you to be the “muscle” here; my enforcer, if you will. If I need something done, I need you to get it done. No questions; only obedience. Prove to me that you are worthy and I will reward you.” Both men agreed and we assume they all shook hands. I got away from there just in the nick of time. Masters and Marella walked out the door, looked around to see if anyone was snooping and then left.

Negronomicon then left his office with a nasty looking smirk on his face. Now we know he’s up to no good. We’ll have to wait and see what his next move is.

He came out to the ramp for an announcement. “All right, listen up. I am making some changes to the HWF X-Division title. Right now, instead of Santino getting the next title match, I am putting my North American title on the line and calling down Jay Lethal for our match. The winner of the match wins both titles.” Negronomicon went down to the ring and Lethal was introduced. Nothing happened. The ref called for Lethal again and…nothing. All of a sudden, Santino and Masters came down dragging behind them an unconscious Lethal. They got down there and threw him in the ring. The ref asked what was going on. Santino tossed the X-division title to the ref. Negronomicon called for the bell. Negronomicon picked up Lethal and connected with the Black Doom. The ref, seeing that this was clearly a sneak attack on Lethal by N’s new goon squad, refused to make the count. Negronomicon told him that if he did not count now, he would be fired and blackballed so that he would never be able to be a ref again anywhere. The ref reluctantly started the count and N made the cover. 1….2…..3. Negronomicon is the winner of the match and the NEW X-Division Champion. Santi no got in the ring and raised N’s hand as Masters tossed Lethal out of the ring. Both men celebrated with the HWF GM in the ring before heading to the back. They stopped at the top of the ramp. Negronomicon took a mic from Santino: “One last thing before I leave for the night. As the owner of the HWF and basically I own half of the Undisputed Championship, I am calling a committee to see Kurt Angle STRIPPED of the Undisputed Championship. By being arrested and in the posession of steroids, he has become an embarrassment to this sport. I will convene tonight with Jeff Meyers and William Regal to discuss the reprecussions. That’s all for now. Good night and get the hell out!” He laughed as he went to the back with his cronies.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_8.4

Welcome back. We last reported that Negronomicon has asked for Kurt Angle to be stripped of the Undisputed Championship for being, in the words of the Negronomicon, “an embarrassment to the sport of professional wrestling.” N met up that night with both William Regal and CSWA owner Jeff Meyers. William Regal thought that Angle should be given a chance to explain his actions and give him the benefit of the doubt. In a surprising move, Jeff Meyers sided with Negronomicon. He said that steroids are illegal in the CSWA and HWF and regardless of whether or not Angle has a “doctor’s note”, he did not inform Negronomicon, Jeff Meyers nor William Regal. The decision was made with no one getting Angle’s side of the issue. At the next house show, Negronomicon, William Regal and Jeff Meyers all came down to the ring. William Regal asked Kurt Angle to come down. Negronomicon took the mic and said “Get your drugged up ass down here NOW!” Angle came out and looked pissed. He got into the ring and stared right at Negronomicon. “You better back up now BOY.” Negronomicon said. “Back up or you’ll find yourself in a jail. Oh wait, you’ve already been there, criminal. Back up or so help me you’ll be there before you can count to three.” Angle reluctantly backed up. William Regal took the mic. “Kurt, I am sorry to do this but I need for you to relinquish the Undisputed Championship.” Angle reluctantly handed the belt to Regal. Jeff Meyers took the mic. “Kurt, we are all very disappointed in you. We didn’t want to do this (Negronomicon gestured to the fans that he in fact did) but your actions led us here. We also will be suspending you for the period of one month with no pay. After that, you will be allowed to wrestle again but you will in fact have to start over. You will not be treated as a former world or undisputed champion. You will start at the bottom and work your way up. You will have to earn and prove you deserve any future title shots. You will also be tested before every match. If drugs or alcohol of any kind show up in your system, you will be released and never allowed back into a wrestling ring. I ask you now to please leave us.” Angle started to leave the ring and stopped when he heard Negronomicon bent over from laughing his ass off. Angle walked back over to him and gave him the Angle Slam. He then left the ring. Negronomicon, in pain, swore at Angle and threatened to sue him but Angle kept walking. Mr. Meyers helped Negronomicon to his feet. “You got what you wanted. Let it go.” Regal and Meyers left the ring with the Undisputed Championship. Negronomicon stayed in the ring awhile longer celebrating yet another win for him.

It was determined that the winner of the match between the HWF and CSWA World Champions at the PPV would become the new Undisputed Champion.

The following night, Negronomicon called out Christian demanding his IC title match. N states that if he beats Christian for the belt, he will also become the #1 contender for the Undertaker’s World Heavyweight title. Christian said “Fat Chance that ever happening.” Negronomicon and Christian began to lock up but suddenly stopped. Christian then laid down in the ring and Negronomicon made the cover. 3 seconds later and Negronomicon is now the NEW Intercontinental Champion! What the HELL?!!!!! Negronomicon and Christian shook hands and Negronomicon announced Christian as the newest member of “the Posse”. Christian said “Ok, Boss, you are the number one contender for the Undertaker’s belt. Let us know what to do and we will be there for you.” Negronomicon called down the rest of the Posse. Out came Santino and Chris Masters. N also announced that he had three other members of the Posse that needed to join them in the ring. He then called down Carlito who was initially cheeered but when he spat apple in the face of a little kid, he almost got booed out of the building. Out next came the team of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin.

Negronomicon said that effective immediately, the HWF was going to have their own tag-team titles. These titles will only be defended in the HWF. N went on to say that 2 teams will meet to determine the winner and the new HWF Tag-team champs. His team (the Worlds Greatest Tag Team) will take on the team of DX (Shawn Michaels and HHH). He called down HHH and Shawn Michaels and told them to get in the ring with the World’s Greatest Tag Team. The match began and the next thing you see is Carlito, Masters and Marella in the ring helping Haas and Benjamin beat DX down. Carlito hit a back breaker on Shawn and he was immediately tossed out of the ring. Negronomicon was joined by Santino and they continued the beatdown on Michaels. HHH was trying to fight back but was no match for the 4 people beating him down. Masters took HHH down with a steel chair. Benjamin delivered a kick to HHH’s face that loosened a few teeth. After the beatdown ended, Haas made the cover and got the 1-2-3 to become the NEW HWF TAG-TEAM champions. Michaels and HHH limped to the back. Haas and Benjamin were joined by the rest of the Posse in the ring.

Negronomicon said “Ok, here is what is going down. I have a match with the Undertaker at the PPV. Being a multiple title holder, I will not be able to defend all the belts at once so here is what I have planned. Santino, I officially hand over the X-Division title to you. You are now the X-division champion. Chris, you will be the North American champion going forward. Charlie and Shelton, you have the tag titles. Carlito, you will now become the Intercontinental Champion after I get my contract signed to meet the Undertaker. Christian, looking a little confused, asked “Why didn’t I just keep the belt if you were going to give it away?” Negronomicon continued “Christian, I have great plans for you. My goal will to defeat the Undertaker for the World title and then beat whomever in the CSWA is their world champ and I will become the Undisputed Champion. Once that happens, I will be giving you the World Title. I need a no-nonsense kind of guy to watch my back. You are that guy. The Posse will dominate the HWF for years to come.” Christian nodded and says he will wait.

The PPV card is shaping up. Here is the latest lineup:

Mohammed Hassan vs. Super Warrior for his spot for the Cruiserweight title.
Samoa Joe vs Rhyno for the #3 spot for the World Heavyweight title.
With Kurt Angle on suspension, Mick Foley picks up the challenge from Randy Orton. The winner will receive both title shots and the loser gets nothing.
The Dudley’s defend the tag team titles vs the Steiners. Scott has said that if they don’t win the belts, Rick will have to retire.
Jeff Jarrett and Sting vs. Tommy Dreamer and the Bruiser
CM Punk vs John Cena in a steel cage
MW3 vs Shawn Michaels for the services of Whisper. If Shawn loses, he must retire. If MW3 loses, he must unmask and show his real face – no makeup, no other masks.
Santino defends the X-division title against Chris Daniels
Chris Masters defends the NA title against Stevie Richards
Carlito defends the IC title against Golddust
Undertaker defends the World title against the Negronomicon
MVP defends the Cruiserweight title against Elijah Burke
The winer of that match meets Batista for the TV title
The winner of that match meets Booker T for the US title
The winner of that match meets the Great Khali for the World title
Donnie B and Mark Henry take on the Hardy Boyz.

The winner of the match between the CSWA and HWF world champions will become the new Undisputed Heavyweight Champion.

See you at the PPV.

NEWS FLASH – Negronomicon just held a press conference stating that he was officially killing off the HWF. The new federation will now be called the NWWA – Negronomicon’s World Wrestling Alliance. All titles will now be referred to as NWWA belts.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_7.8

Hello fans. Welcome back. In this issue we will cover the ongoing saga with the New HWF owner Negronomicon and all the issues he’s been working through. This reporter walked by his office and noticed that it was fairly large in size and appeared to be having furnishings brought in. Just as I peeked in, I saw that he was at his desk buried behind stacks of paper. Looks like he’s got a lot on his hands with running the HWF.

I met up with one half of the tag team champs Bubba Dudley backstage. Bubba said that he has made a promise to Devon: As long as they are the tag team champs, neither one will chase any singles titles. They agree to put the team first and not their singles careers. Bubba said that he will keep the opportunity open for a shot at the champion he wishes. He says that if and when the opportunity presents itself, he will want a World title shot.

Jay Lethal, the current X-division champ, was walking around backstage and walked into the new GM’s office. Lethal was asking what he needed to do to claim his shot at the NA title. Negronomicon stated he didn’t’ have time to discuss this right now. Lethal turned to leave and knocked over a few piles of papers. Negronomicon became furious. “Get your ass out of my office now! Oh, and since you feel you like you need to interrupt me, tell you what….You get your shot at the NA title but your X-division title will also be on the line.” Lethal started to complain but N shut the door in his face.

The newly formed team of the Big Show and Abyss met up with William Regal. They said there was a lot of pressure for them to perform so they wanted to meet the Steiners with the winner of the match getting the title shot at the Dudleys. Regal said that the match between the Dudleys and Steiners was already signed so they were told that if the Dudley’s retain the tag team titles, Big Show and Abyss would be next in line.

Mark Henry ran (not literally) into Donnie B in the back. Donnie B told Henry how much he appreciated what he did for him back in the HWF. Donnie B asked Henry if he would be interested in starting up a tag team. Mark said it was a good idea but he was really wanting to concentrate on a singles career at this time. Mark said he was going to meet William Regal to discuss his options. Regal actually met up with them and told Henry that he has a match against Randy Orton. The winner will get a future title shot (it was not specified which belt). If Henry loses, then we have a new tag team. Henry agreed.

Samoa Joe is on the rampage again. This time he drove a monster truck into the trailer that housed all the tv equipment. As things were busting in flame all around him, Joe was just staring at the flames with a creepy smile on his face.

The next newsletter will have the posting of the Top 10’s.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_7.9

Hello fans. The top 10 has not been finished yet but we start off this newsletter with a closing interview from the Warrior Killer (aka Handsome G):

“Super Warrior won the battle but he will not win the war. I will be taking some time off to go train at Greg Jackson’s MMA gym in Albuquerque. I will teach all the wrestlers here how to truly fight when I come back fully trained in MMA. Yes, Super Warrior that will include you. I will learn how to eat hot peppers in New Mexico and you will no longer be able to use that to finish me. This Warrior Killer is dead but I will come back better than ever.”
It also turns out that the tag team of Rhodes and Dibiasi visited the new owner of the HWF, Negronomicon who still happened to be buried in paperwork. Cody asked him “When do we get our title shot? How long do we have to sit in this dump before someone realizes our greatness and gives us a match?” Dibiasi stood there nodding in agreement. Negronomicon stated “I don’t know what it is with all you morons. Can’t you see that I am busy? Go away and bug someone else.” Dibiasi threw in “You know, just because you’re the owner doesn’t mean you can boss us around like hired help.” Cody looked confused at this but just shook his head. Negronomicon continued “Fine, you want a title match, you can have one but it won’t be what you think. Regal and I already have plans for the tag belts so I will put the two of you in a handicap match…..against me for the North American Heavyweight title. But here is the kicker. The two of you MUST fight each other. One of you can’t sit out. If one of you does during this match, you will be fired on the spot.” Dibiasi and Rhodes nodded. “Sure” said Rhodes, “we’ll take you up on this. It won’t take long but you will see gold around my waist soon.” Dibiasi interjected “Actually Cody, I think that you meant to say that I would have gold; not you.” The two of them argued back and forth as Negronomicon ushered them from his office. “Just a little peace and quiet is all I ask.”

A few minutes pass and William Regal visits the new owner. “Sir, if I may say so, you agreed to a 3-way match for the North American title. Actually, I am supposed to be in charge of making matches and scheduling title defenses. It is in my contract after all.”. Negronomicon said “It was a spur of the moment thing. Sorry ol’ chap.” Regal felt he was being disrespected. “Sir, since I am in charge of scheduling matches, I would suggest you head down to the ring.” “Why?” the Negronomicon asked. “Well, you have a title to defend and your opponents are on their way down. Best get moving there…sir” Regal replied with a smirk on his face. Negronomicon did not look happy but went to the ring for his match anyway.

Negronomicon defends the North American title against Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiasi in a 3-way match. Before the match began, Regal came down and said that Negronomicon did NOT have to be pinned to lose the belt. Whoever got the pin would become the new North American Champ. Negronomicon glared at the GM as the bell rang to start the match. Negronomicon started the match off against Rhodes. They locked up and Rhodes locked N in an armbar. Dibiasi tags himself in and hit the owner with a clothesline. Rhodes and Dibiasi traded punches for a few before the ref escorted Rhodes out of the ring. Meanwhile, N hit Dibiasi with a low blow but the ref didn’t see it. N connects with a Black Doom but Rhodes makes the save and tosses Dibiasi from the ring. Cody tried for a bulldog but N wiggled out of it. An uppercut from N stopped Cody in his tracks. Dibiasi tried to get in the ring distracting the ref so Negronomicon hit Cody with a low blow and followed it up with a Black Doom. Dibiasi makes the save and tosses Cody to the outside. Ted and N traded blows and Cody finally got fed up and joined his partner in beating down the HWF owner. Cody held N and as Dibiasi reared back for a knockout punch, N ducked and Cody got hit and went down like a sack of bricks. Negronomicon hits the Black Doom on Dibiasi and makes the cover. 1…2….3. Negronomicon wins the match and retains the North American title.

The next match on the card is the continuation of the feud between John Cena and CM Punk. Cena was first in the ring but Punk took his time getting in the ring. Punk finally makes it in and hits Cena with a low blow. The ref admonished him but did not DQ him. Punk continued the beatdown till Cena did his own “Hogan psyche-up” and battled back. Cena got Punk in the FU but Punk wiggled out of it. He hit his signature move but only got a 2 count. He then gave Cena a piledriver and went to the outside of the ring. He got a chair and brought it back in. Punk used it first on the ref hitting him on the head. He then went to Cena and swung…but missed. Cena kicked Punk in the gut and then hit the FU on the chair. Cena would have gotten the win but the ref was still out. Cena went to check on the ref and Punk attacked him from behind. Punk locked Cena in a texas cloverleaf but Cena made it to the ropes but no ref was there to break the hold. Punk pulls Cena back in the middle of the ring keeping him in the cloverleaf. Finally he let go and then took the chair to the hurt Cena. He was beaten across his back and then on his head busting him open. When if finally looked like Punk was exhausted, he punts Cena in the head and goes to make the cover as the ref gets up. The ref makes a very slow 1..2…3 and declares Punk the winner. The ref yelled at Punk for attacking him and Punk kicked him in the head. This brought out Regal who said that if Punk ever lays his hands on an official again, he will be banned from the sport.

Our second to last match of the night is a lumberjack match between Tommy Dreamer and The Bruiser. There were a lot of people there that were supporting the Bruiser for the way Dreamer treated and disrespected him. Dreamer did have a few buddies there and they caused lots of ruckus during the entire match. Bruiser hit Dreamer with the kendo stick multiple times causing the DQ. The lumberjacks really didn’t do anything for this match as the pro-Dreamer people were fighting with the others at ringside. Dreamer tried to get away but the Bruiser was on him like stink on poop. He followed Dreamer to the top of the ramp where he THREW Dreamer off the stage through the tables down below. Bruiser may have lost the match but I feel he got a measure of revenge. I do not believe this is over.

Our last match of the night is MW3 vs. Shawn Michaels. The winner of this match either retains Whisper’s services or wins her back (in Michaels’ case). The match really didn’t take off as Whisper got in the ring and yelled at Michaels but then they both turned to face MW3. Uh oh…..swerve……Michaels superkicks MW3 knocking him down. He then hands a pair of brass knuckles to Whisper. Michaels picks up MW3. Whisper pulls back and….stops. Michaels looks confused. MW3 drops and Whisper nails Shawn with the brass knuckles knocking him out. WOAH! Double swerve. After the match, MW3 raised Whisper’s hand and gave her a mic “You know Shawn, I’m not your property. I’m not your servant …cleaning up after you every day and night. Well, no more. I’ve had it. I have finally found a real man who treats me like a real lady.” She grabbed MW3 and gave him a big smooch. She continued “I have no use for you anymore. See you in the funny papers Gramps!” MW3 took Whisper by the arm and helped her out of the ring and they left Shawn in the ring…still out cold. The suits from the back came out to revive Shawn and help him to the back.

More to follow…..

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_7.10

Hello, we are back with our lastest installment. Unfortunately, the GM William Regal, HWF Owner Negronomicon and CSWA owner Jeff Meyers have yet had time to sit down and figure out what the top 10 was going to look like so we are back reporting other news.

Our first piece of news is that Brian Kendrick has been fired by the Negronomicon. I think he said he didn’t like the way his hair looked. With the HWF roster reduced, CSWA had to give up one person. HWF got, via a lotto pick, Fit Finley.

Mark Henry got his shot at Randy Orton for a future title shot. Henry dwarfed his opponent and overpowered him for the majority of the match but Randy called out Rhodes and Dibiasi who staged an attack on Randy causing a disqualification for Henry. Henry was upset at the interferrence that he went to the back and asked for a tag match with his new partner Donnie B against the team of Rhodes and Dibiasi. Regal said that this very evening, a tournament would be held to rank the tag team championship. The matches went like this:

Big Show and Abyss defeated Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin to become the #2 contenders.
The Hardy Boys defeated Cryme Tyme to become #3 in line.
The new team of Mark Henry and Donnie B defeated Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiasi to get the 4th spot.

The next matches were based on elimination:
Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiasi defeated Cryme Tyme to get the 5th spot.
Cryme Tyme stole a win over Haas and Benjamin to get the 6th spot.
Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin defeated the team of John Morrison and Christopher Daniels to get the 7th spot.

Most of the matches were indeed squash matches but the only one that was a blast to watch was Donnie B and Mark Henry taking on Rhodes and Dibiasi. Henry basically chased both Cody and Ted around the ring for a minute till they jumped in the ring and attacked Donnie B. The ref finally got Rhodes out of the ring and Dibiasi kept the fight to the former HWF owner. After a few minutes of getting his butt kicked, he made the tag to Henry. Henry told the ref that both Rhodes and Dibiasi could come in the ring and see if they could take him out. The ref allowed it but Henry squashed both opponents. Donnie B got tagged in and hit the Lights Out Brainbuster on Cody Rhodes. He tagged Henry back in who delivered a tremendous splash. He made the cover and got the win. It looked like they needed to scrape Rhodes off the mat.

Super Warrior was in the back still basking in the glow of his win over the Warrior Killer.

Chris Daniels was not happy with his performance in the tag match with John Morrison. He ran into Santino who has a problem prouncing his name calling him Cawiss. Daniels challenged Santino to a match with the winner getting a shot at Jay Lethal’s X-Division title. Santino. Chris went out to the ring but before Santino could head out, he was met by the HWF owner Negronomicon. “You know Santino, I like you. I think you’re funny. I think you could go far in the HWF. In fact, I’ll tell you what. Impress me in this match against Daniels and I will personally make sure you get everything you deserve.” “Thank you…uh…..sir.” Santino replied. He went down to the ring.

Christopher Daniels took on Santino for a shot at the X-division title. Santino never let Daniels get any offense in. In about 3 minutes, Santino got the win over Daniels and walked away with the 1st available shot at the X-division title.

We will be back next week with the top 10’s….for sure this time.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_7.7 – Show results Day 2

Hello fans and welcome to day 2 of the Donnie B Wrestle show spectacular. Lets get right to the news.

The first event of the day is the battle royal. The winner of the battle royal will get a title shot. One thing was changed though. Depending on your ranking (3, 4, or 5) will determine what belt you can challenge for. The 3 wrestlers can challenge for the X-division and TV titles; the 4 wrestlers can challenge for the X-division, North American and IC belts and the 5 wrestlers can challenge for any title they wish. In the CSWA, the 3 wrestlers get to go after the Cruiserweight and TV title, the 4’s and 5’s go after the TV, US or Heavyweight titles. There can be one winner from the CSWA and one from the HWF provided there is one person left from each group as the final 2 men in the ring. There are two men who were not allowed into the battle royal: Edge and Shawn Michaels. Michaels complained enough and the agreed to let him, but not Edge in.
The eliminations were as follows: Chris Jericho by Jeff Hardy; Khali by Carlito (and Undertaker and Angle); Donnie B by Charlie Haas; Jeff Hardy by the Big Show; Santino by the Negronomicon (at this point, Negronomicon went out between the ropes as to not get counted out and got a drink of water); Booker T by AJ Styles; Kane by HHH; Cody Rhodes by CM Punk; Rey Mysterio by John Morrison; Big Show by Randy Orton; Undertaker by AJ Styles; Foley by Bubba Dudley; Sting by Bubba Dudley; Scott Steiner by Carlito; Shawn Michaels (he was in no shape to particpate but wanted in anyway) by MW3; Kurt Angle by the Hurricane; Randy Orton by Christian; Rick Steiner by the Hurricane; John Morrison by Jay Lethal; AJ Styles by Bubba Dudley; Lashley by Shad; HHH by Shelton Benjamin; MVP by Abyss; John Cena by Charlie Haas; CM Punk by Christian (Cena held the rope down and the two brawled to the back); Tommy Dreamer by Christian; the Bruiser by Jay Lethal (Dreamer held the the rope down and the refs had to break up the brawling); Carlito by Elijah Burke; (at this point the Negronomicon got back in the ring) Abyss by Elijah Burke; Mark Henry by the Negronomicon; Shelton Benjamin by JTG; Devon Dudley by Elijah Burke; Shad by JTG; Batista by the Negronomicon; Christian by the Super Warrior; The Warrior Killer by Charlie Haas (with an assist from the Super Warrior); Elijah Burke by Jay Lethal; Lethal byt the Negronomicon; Dibiasi by the Hurricane; JTG by Bubba Dudley; Jeff Jarrett by MW3; Christopher Daniels by Bubba Dudley; the Super Warrior by the Negronomicon; the Hurricane by MW3; MW3 by the Negronomicon; and Charlie Haas by the Negronomicon. N said something to Haas and he went over the top rope and walked to the back. The final two men in the ring are Bubba Dudley and the Negronomicon. Negronomicon gets a shot at either the X-division or TV title and Bubby Ray gets his choice of the US, TV or World title. He chooses the World title. Negronomicon will go after either the X-division title or North American Title. Negronomicon got on the mic “As I promised, I have a few announcements to make actually. First, I challenge the winner between Foley and Sting for the North American title. Next, from now on, in all tag matches, it is no longer required that your partner be out of the ring after a double team before you can go for a submission or pin attempt. The most important rule I am re-instating is that going forward, we will be re-creating the top 10 for all the wrestlers in the HWF. The IC champion WILL be the #1 contender for the World Title, the North American champion for the IC title and the X-Division champion for the NA title. This will ensure all champions get the matches they deserve as being a title holder. You must be a defending champion or you lose your #1 spot and that would go to the new champion if one is crowned.

In the back, Donnie B was talking with the Super Warrior. DB was retelling a story involving the Warrior Killer and a serrano pepper. Despite the change in management and the mood backstage, both men had a good laugh.

First up is the rematch between the Warrior Killer and the Super Warrior. This is to be an I Quit match for the rights to the name of Warrior. SW entered first followed by WK. Just as soon as the bell rang, SW shoved a serrano pepper down the throat of the Warrior Killer. He had no place to go and tears were streaming down his face. He screamed at the top of his lungs “I QUIT! NOW GIVE ME SOME BREAD AND MILK!!!” The Super Warrior retains his name and identity. Warrior Killer leaves in disgrace.

Our next match up is Tommy Dreamer vs the Bruiser. Dreamer took the lead early but the Bruiser in his first match was having an impressive outing. Dreamer was setting the pace of the match and his opponent was hanging right in there. The Bruiser tossed Dreamer to the outside a couple of times but Dreamer made it back in with plenty of time to spare. Finally it was Dreamer’s turn to toss the Bruiser to the outside of the ring. He followed him out and ran him into the ringpost. He then grabbed a pair of handcuffs that were under the ring and handcuffed his opponent to the post. Dreamer rolled back into the ring and sat in the far corner while the helpless ref had to make the count. The Bruiser gets counted out in his first outing. Dreamer then took his singapore cane and whipped the helpless Bruiser with it. Dreamer ended up breaking it over the head of the Bruiser. He walked away with a smirk on his face. The suits from the back finally came down and removed the handcuffs and helped the Bruiser to the back. He did get a standing ovation from the fans.

The next match that was scheduled was Rhodes and Dibiasi taking on the Steiners. Scott came out first and complained about the Dudley’s getting a title match while the Steiners are having to fight nobodys. Rick joined him in the ring and then Cody and Ted Jr. made their way to the ring. This didn’t go long as expected. It only took the team of the Steiners 5 minutes to wipe the mat with their opponents. Rhodes never made it into the ring and Dibiasi took the brunt of the beating and humiliation from the Steiners.

Scott got back on the mic and said they were officially challenging the winner of the next match.
Newly crowned Tag Team Champions Cryme Tyme took on the Dudleys. Right off the bat, Bubba puts Shad through a table and went for a pin but Shad kicked out. JTG tags in and is on the receiving end of a double team. Bubba hits a DDT and Devon hits a flying headbutt. He goes for the pin (allowed under the rule change) but Shad makes the save. JTG and Bubba both tag in. Bubba hits an elbow drop and makes the cover but Shad is back in for the save. Bubba hits a DDT on Shad but Shad hits a crippling piledriver on Bubba but gets 2 after a pin attempt. Devon is in and now so is Bubba. Devon hits a knee to the gut and Bubba tosses him out of the ring. Shad makes it back in. Devon’s head is introduced to a turnbuckle and JTG is in. Both Dudleys in the ring for a double team. Bubba chops JTG in the chest and Devon hits a superplex. They go for the pin but JTG kicks out. Bubba hits a Bubba Bomb but JTG locks in a sleeperhold. Bubba makes it to the ropes and tags out. JTG puts Devon in a spinning toe hold but he makes it to the ropes. Another double team by the Dudley’s and a pin attempt on Shad but JTG makes the save. Another double team by the DTudley’s and a Bubba Bomb. Bubba makes the cover as Devon takes out JTG. The ref counts 1….2…3. We have NEW TAG TEAM Champions again after a 29 minute hard-fought fight. The Steiners hit the ring and attack the Dudleys. They hit the Doomsday on Bubba and Devon gets put through a table. The Steiners pose with the belts before dropping them and leaving the carnage behind.

Santino vs MVP is next with the Cruiserweight title on the line. A few months back, Santino stole the Cruiserweight title from MVP so this is a bit of revenge for the former champion. The match stayed pretty even until out of nowhere, MVP connects with a superkick that made one of Santino’s shoes fall off. MVP made the cover and got the 1-2-3. MVP has regained the CSWA Cruiserweight title.

Our cross promotional match betwee Abyss vs Big Show is next. Show starts off with a chokeslam on Abyss and Abyss gets back up and hits one of his own. It was funny to see Abyss hit a big foot to face and then Show doing the same. A lot of their moves mirrored each other. Big Show gets the win after catching Abyss in a bearhug and dropped him to cover him for the pin. I think these two guys, if they could work together, could make a run after the tag team titles.

Our next match is Lashley vs Orton. This match was changed to a no count-out or DQ match. The winner of this match gets a shot at the TV title held by Batista. Lashley was really on top of his game. I don’t Randy was expecting this from his challenger. Bobby and Randy had a pretty even match but eventually the power of Lashley as well as a super powerslam proved to be too much. Bobby gets the win and a future title shot against Batista.

Next on the card is Foley vs Sting for the North American title. Foley was in his Cactus Jack attire and tried to hardcore on the legend but Sting proved to be too much. Foley ended up tossing Sting out of the ring when the Negronomicon came out and started walking towards ringside. Sting was confused and was distracted just long enough to get counted out. Mick Foley retains the North American Title. Negronomicon got in the ring and said he wanted his match right now against Foley.

Negronomicon got his match against Foley. Negronomicon was ready for everything Foley could come up except for the “bang-bang” piledriver. Foley had Negronomicon covered but somehow he got his foot on the rope at the very last second. Foley picked him up but Negronomicon must have been playing possum as he nails Foley with the Black Doom and with his feet on the ropes, (the ref clearly saw it but did nothing) he got the 1-2-3 and becomes the NEW NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION. After the ref raised the Negronomicon’s hand, N promptly told Foley his services were no longer required or wanted in the HWF. He was giving Foley the option to walk away or be fired. Foley said he didn’t have any option so he walked away.

CM Punk vs John Cena is next on the card. You could tell Punk was not wanting to be in this match. Cena outpowered his opponent every chance he got. He went for numerous pin attempts but Punk was able to kick out. Finally, Punk got tired of getting his butt kicked so at the 10 minute mark, Punk left the ring. He didn’t even care about getting counted out. Cena wins the match by CO but he still wants Punk. Maybe Regal will see fit to give him another match soon.

Our second to last match of the night is Booker T vs Chris Jericho for the US Heavyweight Title. Jericho has a great opponent in Booker T. The former World Champion really held his own against the US champ. Jericho managed to get Booker in the Walls of Jericho but Booker powered out of it. Jericho got tossed out of the ring a few times but managed to get back in the ring in time to stop the count. Jericho hit Booker with a flying forearm but it didn’t seem to phase the Booker-man. After a spinning smash disoriented Jericho, Booker connected with the Bookend and the 1-2-3. Booker T is the NEW US Heavyweight champion.

Our final match of the night Khali vs Angle vs Undertaker for the Undisputed Championship. Angle and Khali teamed up to double-team the Undertaker. They tossed Undertaker out of the ring and threw him into the stairs. Undertaker was not able to answer the 10 count so he gets counted out and this match becomes 1 on 1. Khali turns on Angle before Kurt could turn on him and Khali used his size to dominate the former olympic champ. Kurt slowly took the advantage from Khali and outwrestled his opponent. Kurt hit a very impressive belly to belly suplex on Khali and made the cover…1….2….3. Kurt remains the Undisputed Champion.

After the match ended, the Negronomicon came out. He said there were some announcements that need to be made so he calls out William Regal and CSWA owner Jeff Meyers to join him in the ring. Both men came out and got into the ring. Jeff Meyers said he only had two announcements and then would leave the floor to the Negronomicon. He was picking up the contract of Mick Foley and bringing him to the CSWA. Negronomicon asked why but Mr. Meyers just continued. The other announcemenit is that Abyss and Show are a new tag team. Big Show is traded to CSWA in exchange for John Cena.

The Bruiser asks to be traded so he can continue his feud with Dreamer. He is traded for Stevie Richards.

Negronomicon doesn’t want to deal with the headache of Samoa Joe so he sends him to CSWA in exchange for Rey Mysterio. Mysterio really didn’t want to be traded but was told by William Regal he didn’t have a say in the matter. N also added that for some reason, he likes Jeff Jarrett and brought him to the HWF in exchange for the defective Edge. Elijah Burke is traded for Santino; Super Warrior for Mike Knox. After much negotiating, Mysterio got his wish and was traded back to the CSWA but for a higher price. CSWA had to give up a tag team. Negronomicon took the team of Dibiasi and Rhodes because he says he can see the potential there. N then informed his roster that he needed to do some housecleaning. He called out Viscera and fired him. He also said that he wants to build up the tag division so he told the Hardy’s they were once again a tag team. And if you are part of a tag team, you do NOT persue singles titles. Neither Matt or Jeff were happy with that. He went on to say that for the next 30 days, he will be evaluating the roster and making any cuts he deems necessary.

With that, our show comes to an end. In the back Negronomicon runs into Donnie B. Donnie B says “Congratulations. The HWF and everything that goes with it, is yours. Oh, and by the way, since you are the owner and the one ultimately responsible for the HWF, here is the bill for the show. I’m sure you’ll figure out a way to pay for it.” Donnie B walks away and smirks. Negronomicon is standing there looking perplexed.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_7.6 – Show results Day 1

Hello fans. Welcome to Donnie B’s personal funded wrestling show. We also had some more matches added. We won’t waste any time so lets get right on to the results.

The first match to take place was a new one added – AJ Styles taking on Rey Mysterio Jr. Styles controlled the match early and even hit back to back Styles Clash but the end came when Mysterio hit the hurricaranna at the 8 minute mark for the win.

Our first title match was next with newcomers Cryme Tyme taking on the champs John Morrison and Chris Daniels. Cryme Tyme did lots of double teaming during this match keeping the champs on defensive. Cryme Tyme ends up “stealing” the win after Shad knocked Morrison away from the ring and JTG covered Chris Daniels. We have NEW World Tag Team Champions – Cryme Tyme.

Batista wanted to put his TV title on the line next and accepted a challenge from the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry. Henry tried to overpower the TV Champ but Batista hits a tremendous powerslam to get the win and retain his title.

Next on the card is the Super Warrior taking on the Warrior Killer. Both men talked a lot of crap so this match was for the rights to the name Warrior. Warrior Killer started the match with 2 low blows (not noticed by the ref) on SW. After a little more back and forth action, WK hits the “Hogan Leg Drop” but barely even got a 1 count. SW throws WK out of the ring and it looked like he was going to get counted out but SW went out and threw him back in right at the 10 count. The next thing we know, the bell sounds signifying the end of the match. This match has gone to a time limit draw. This brought out William Regal who said that we really need to have a winner from this feud so at tomorrow’s show, Warrior Killer and Super Warrior will meet in an “I Quit” match. This will also be a no-countout or DQ match.

Next, the tag team of the Dudley’s take on the team of HHH and Jeff Jarrett. The Dudley’s showed in this match why they are tag team specialists and HHH and Jarrett just couldn’t meld. The only offense came from HHH as when Jarrett was in the ring, he was constantly getting double teamed. This was another match where the Dudley’s dominated but due to all the double teaming that was going on, there was no opportunity to get a pin attempt. This match ended in a time limit draw ass-kicking.

This prompted Regal to come out again and say that he was making a new rule change “Effective immediately, during a double team in a tag match, the offensive team will now have the ability to go for a pin or submission even if his partner is still in the ring. This is, after all, a team match and it should only be fair that the attempts to win are not thwarted by the team’s tag team superiority. Also, since the Dudley’s did so well, I am granting them a tag team title shot against Cryme Tyme tomorrow.” He then left the stage and went to the back. I guess we have another match added to the card tomorrow.

Jeff Hardy was next taking on Kane. Kane started the match off by tossing Hardy out of the ring where he almost got counted out but made it back in before the 10 count. Kane hits a powerslam, Hardy locks in an armbar and Kane gets out of that with a face rake. Kane goes to stand on the throat of Hardy and somehow Hardy tosses Kane over the top rope. Kane makes it back in at the 5 count. Kane shoves Hardy down and goes for the pin but gets a 2 count. Hardy gets up and hits a suicide dive while Kane stands there and takes it. Hardy hits another suicide dive but this time Kane is ready and throws Hardy into the steel post busting him open. He makes a cover but only for 2. After a little more action, Kane finally connects with the chokeslam but somehow Hardy got up to the top rope and connected with 2 missile dropkicks. Hardy then connects with a swanton bomb but doesn’t have enough strength to make the cover. Hardy hits one last suicide dive but Kane connects with another chokeslam. He makes the cover but as soon as he does, the bell rings sounding the end of the match. Hardy got lucky there. Kane leaves in disgust.

After both men left the ring, the Negronomicon came out to the boo’s from the crowd. He got into the ring and took the mic. “I am here and now I want Donnie B and William Regal to come down.” At this point, Donnie B and william Regal came out to the cheering from the fans and got into the ring with Negronomicon. N started up again. “I made you a simple offer and you chose to disrespect it; just like you did to me by not inviting me to your wedding. I have then in turned sued you and the HWF. This prompted me to quit the CSWA to persue this lawsuit. You have not agreed to restaging your wedding and installing me as the best man. I knew you wouldn’t. You disrespect me and now I’m taking away what you built. “ Regal interjected “Isn’t there some understanding the two of you can come to?” Donnie B then took the mic. “I have a proposal. You seem to want to take what I ‘built’ so how about this….You and I have one last match. No specialty match or anything like that. Just a simple match with no countout or DQ’s. The winner of the match gets ownership of the HWF.” The fans (and William Regal) all gasped at the same time. “There is one caveat though….you MUST dismiss the lawsuit and sign an agreement to never sue anyone related to the HWF or CSWA or any other brands that may surface in the future. You WILL cease all hostility towards anyone in this sport. If you lose our match, you will remain on the roster as an active wrestler. Any matches you win, you will get double payout. If you win our match, you gain ownership and responsibilities in regards to the running of the HWF. William Regal remains as the General Manager and this will NOT change. I will have no stake in the HWF. What do you say?” Negronomicon took the mic and stated “Let’s get this started then.”

The next match is between Donnie B and the Negronomicon for the ownership and responsibilites of the HWF.

The match began with Negronmicon delivering a thrust kick to the midsection of Donnie B. He countered with a vicious slap to the face. Donnie B then hit N with a chair. DB gets Negronomicon up and superplexes him from the top rope. DB hits a dropkick and N hits a dragon suplex. A hurricaranna from N is followed by another bitch slap from DB. Donnie B reverses a suplex attempt from N and hits a neckbreaker. He goes for the pin but gets a 2 count. N gets tossed out of the ring and tries to get counted out but since there is the no countout rule in place, N must get back in the ring. As soon as he gets back in the ring, DB hits a DDT. DB picks up N and connects with the Lights Out brainbuster. N still has some life in him and he hits the Black Doom. He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3. HOLY CRAP. Donnie B has lost the HWF!!!

After the win, Negronomicon takes the mic “As the NEW Owner of the HWF, I am sure I will run this company much better than my predecessor Donnie B. As long as I am the HWF owner, Donnie B will NEVER be allowed to wrestle in the HWF again. You will see some exciting happen and I plan to make an announcement after the battle royal tonight.”

The Hurricane vs Elijah Burke is next. This was a fast paced match controlled by Burke. Burke got the win after executing a bulldog in the middle of the ring. Elijah Burke is now the #1 contender for the Cruiserweight title.
Shelton Benjamin vs. Carlito is next. In a major asskicking, Carlito defeated Benjamin after hitting him with a vicious forearm off the ropes. Benjamin had no offensive moves during this short 6 minute match. Carlito becomes the #1 contender for the Intercontinental title.
Next is Jay Lethal defending his X-division title against Charlie Haas. This was another short match and Lethal retained his title. Haas did put up a good fight but was just no match for the champion.

Now we get into the first of our two main events for this evening. The Hell in the Cell is lowered. Out first is the challenger Edge. He makes his way into the cage. Next out is the Intercontinental Champion Christian. He doesn’t look worried at all. As soon as he enters the cage, the door is chained shut and the bell rings. Next time, if you want him unmasked to show his true face, then you best make that known upfront. “ “I want MW3’s face revealed.
