HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2017 #600- SUPERSHOW

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter and the 600^th issue of the Fantasy Wrestling Newsletter.  We’ve been going strong (except for a 2 year hiatus) since 2003 and hopes are to keep going and going and going.  Today’s show is coming to you live from our home in Phoenix, AZ.  After pyro goes off, GM Max McGillicutty comes out to a pop from the crowd and introduces the owners Mr. Bychowski and Mr. Meyers. They get a pop from the crowd.  Mr. B says that Max has been doing a fantastic job and congratulates him on a job well done.  Mr. M chimes in and says that he is looking forward to the brand split and with Max going to Tacoma, WA, this guy will be running the Phoenix show.  Master Bull comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd.   Bull says he’s ready to take over Phoenix and says he is really pumped for the draft as he’s confident he’ll retain the top talent for “Phoenix Heat”.  Bull shakes hands with Max and the owners and then everyone leaves getting this one moving.

After more pyro goes off, our first match kicks off.  First, Drew the Canadian Love Machine comes out to a huge pop from the crowd.  He poses for the fans before his music cuts off and his opponent comes out.  It’s another fan favorite – the Crocodile Hunter.  His pop is almost as loud as Drew’s was.  Croc poses on each of the corners and gets the fans pumped.  The two shake hands in the ring and this one takes off.  Drew hits the ropes and jumps to the turnbuckle but falls off and lands awkwardly on his foot.  He looks hurt.  Croc hits a leg dive and locks in the ankle lock.  Drew immediately taps out.  Croc gets the win in just 1 minute.  He goes to check on Drew to see if he’s ok.  Croc tells Drew that if he’s ok, he’s willing to have another match later tonight.  Drew says he’ll see how the ankle is doing.  The fans pop as Croc helps Drew to the back. (1 min)

There is a commotion in the back and we see Covfefe running off again after attacking Magnum Kone.  Kone is busted open.  The doctor goes over and says that Magnum is not fit to wrestle tonight.  ‘The Ragin Cajun’ Rad Gumbo walks over and tells Max that he’ll volunteer to fight Covfefe.  Max says Rad already has Ice Dagger.  Rad suggests Max make this a triple threat.  Max likes the idea and says he’ll make that match.

We head back to the ring and next up is our ladies battle royal to see who will go on to meet Southern Belle for the Ladies title.  First though, the Ladies champ comes out and goes to sit at commentary so she can scout the match.  First, one by one, the ladies came out…the Duchess, Starr Vixen, Scarlett Phoenix, El Gato Negro, Taylor Bella and Madame Jade.  All six women started slugging it out and one by one they got eliminated until the final two were Starr Vixen and Taylor Bella.  The two slugged it out for almost 5 minutes.  Starr climbed to the second turnbuckle, leapt and hit a springboard corkscrew armdrag.  Taylor managed to recover quickly and hit Starr with a flying dropkick that sent Starr flying over the top rope and crashing to the mat.  The bell rings and Taylor has her arm raised as the winner of the match.  Southern Belle climbs into the ring and the two have a face off.  Eventually everyone leaves.  (18 min)

We cut to the back where a limo pulls up and security comes out and lines up.  The Honorable J C Dykes comes out and is followed by the Unknown Assassin.  Dykes turns to the Unknown Assassin (and the camera) and comments “We have to face Mickey Mouse Rude again. Well, that’s R-U-D-E Rude! We allowed him a few minutes more in our last match than our previous wrestlers so my Champ could at least work up a sweat. How long do we have to entertain the riff raff around here? Bring on the GOLD. We can’t lose with the brains we use. As children, we used to dine on pork-n-beans, now we dine with Trump and Queens. (The fans really booed at the mention of the POTUS).  We are the BEST, can we please see the REST? We can’t be beat-every opponent will go down in de-feat.” Dykes stomps off with the Unknown Assassin in tow.

We head to the ring for our next match.  First, the former PUN-isher Pete Punsher comes out but he’s not cracking wise at all.  I think he’s gone serious.  He makes it to the ring in time for music to change and out comes another fan favorite Texas Wildfire.  Fans pop huge for TW.  TW gets in the ring and asks for a mic.  “You know, this is my first real shot at telling a joke and I’ve been saving it for just the right moment.  Are  you ready?”  The fans pop.  “Ok…here it goes.  ‘What did the patella say to the femur?  I KNEED you’”.  The fans actually laugh at the pun and Pete gets mad and attacks TW starting this one off.  Pete actually looked really good in this and gave TW a serious run for his money.  The tide turned in the final moments of the match when he climbed to the top turnbuckle and launched off trying to connect with a splash but TW got his knees up.  TW then set Pete up on the turnbuckle again and hit a superplex.  He made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Texas Wildfire gets the win.  (19 min).  All of a sudden, a masked man runs in and attacks TW.  He beats him down and then blasts him with a massive headbutt.  He removes the hood and reveals a glitter covered Stormtrooper helmet but it looks different.  The guy takes the mic introducing himself, not as the Super Shockmaster but the Super-Duper Shockmaster – an ally of SS who has come to HCW to right the wrong of SS being kicked out of HCW.  Super Duper says that he’s not here for titles but will wreak havoc and destruction everywhere he goes until SS is allowed back in HCW.  He leaves.  TW gets up and shakes away the cobwebs and seems to be ok but he has a bone to pick with the new guy.

Drew the Canadian Love Machine is backstage being checked out.  The doctor recommends that Drew not fight again tonight but Drew says he can’t let a loss in 60 seconds hang over his head.  Croc agreed to a rematch and he’s going to be ready.

We go back to the ring for the next match.  First, ‘Red Hot’ Lucas Johnston comes out to a decent pop from the crowd.  Next, his opponent Leon Teremoto comes out and he gets a similar reaction.  The two get ready to square off.  Leon started off strong but after about 10 minutes, Lucas kicked it into high gear and controlled the pace of the match.  He however didn’t keep a good eye on the time and before he knew it, time was almost out.  Lucas tried for a DDT but Leon reversed in and slapped on a side headlock.  The bell then rang bringing this one to a draw finish.  The two looked like they wanted to continue but both left without further incident.  (20 min draw)

Ice Dagger is backstage and he seems a little miffed.  He says the night started with a one on one match but now the loose cannon known as Covfefe has been added to their match.  He says that he’ll figure it out and he will be the one walking away with the win tonight.

It’s time for our next match.  First, Crocodile Hunter comes out and he gets a big pop from the crowd.  Drew the Canadian Love Machine comes out next and the crowd about loses it (man, this guy is OVER).  Drew enters the ring and shakes hands with Croc and they waste no time getting this one going.  This one went a bit longer than their last outing and for 8 minutes, they were practically even.  Croc then hit the ropes going for a body press but Drew caught him mid-air and turned it into the Lover Bomb.  Drew planted him right in the middle of the ring, made the cover, hooked the leg and barely got the 1-2-3.  Drew gets the win.  After the match, Drew and Croc shook hands as the building shook with the applause from the fans.  They both left at the same time.  (9 min)

Covfefe is backstage terrorizing the crew.  He gets in the face of one of the crew and says that first Magnum Kone was dealt with; now Gumbo and Dagger are next.  He pushes the crew member and walks off.

We are back down to the ring and the music “Ice Dagger Baby” (to an off-tune version of Ice Ice Baby) and Ice Dagger makes his way down to the ring.  The fans think he stinks so they boo the hell out of him.  Next, MJ comes out and introduces ‘The Ragin Cajun’ Rad Gumbo.  The fans pop as Rad and MJ make their way down to the ring.  Finally, the lights go dim and an eerie blue light shines and Covfefe, accompanied by his manager Ant Graham, makes his way down to the ring.  The lights barely come up in time and Covfefe goes on a tear.  Rad had everything going his way but then Covfefe took him out of the ring and rammed him into the steel post taking him out.  Ant Graham blasted Ice Dagger with his cane but then Covfefe locked him in a wrenching arm bar and then turned it into a pin and got the 1-2-3.  Covfefe gets the win.  Ant joins him to celebrate but is taken out by the Ragin Cajun.  Gumbo then hits Covfefe with the Voodoo driver.  Gumbo sets Covfefe up and begins to unmask him.  He gets his mask off revealing…another mask…this one of a certain current POTUS.  Gumbo then yanked the Trump mask off revealing…HOLY CRAP!  It’s a bloody Magnum Kone!!  Magnum sits there with a crazed look in his eyes and then yanks his Covfefe mask from Rad and takes off.  The fans and everyone are stunned.  Eventually everyone leaves.

GM Max McGillicutty comes out and talks about the men’s battle royal being at our next show.  After that, the Reign of Champions PPV will be upon us.  The winner of the battle royal will get the next title shot at US Champion El Chango.  But first, we have to get to tonight’s main event.  These two men have battled over the past few months and tonight, their feud comes to an end.  Enough standing around, we have one match left to go so let’s get this one moving.

Dude USA Mick Rude comes out to “Born in the USA” by Bruce Springsteen (he better have gotten permission to play or there will be hell to pay).  The fans pop for him as he makes his way down to the ring.  After some posing in the ring, his music stops and new music plays as security comes out and lines both side of the ramp from the stage to the ring and the Honorable J C Dykes comes out first and introduces the Unknown Assassin.  Both men walk down to the ring amidst the booing from the fans.  Dykes turns and flips off the fans which just makes them more irate.  UA went right on the offensive and Rude never recovered.  Mick got in a few licks but with Dykes running rampant, Mick had no chance.  After UA slapped on a nerve pinch and Rude took him down with a single leg take down, UA came back and blasted Rude with multiple knee strikes.  Rude collapsed in the ring.  The Unknown Assassin made a very casual cover and the ref counted 1…2…3.  The Unknown Assassin stood victorious with his manager and showboated in front of the irate crowd until they decided to leave.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2017 #599

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Well, last episode we ended up with two shows going on almost simultaneously and even though it almost turned into a cluster, it didn’t and it actually ended up a more profitable evening than HCW could have hoped for. 

Tonight’s show begins with Felicia Cummings storming into the ladies locker room and approaches Ladies Champion Southern Belle.  Felicia says she’s the #1 contender and she’s demanding a title shot tonight.  Belle says “sure” and Felicia leaves smug. 

We head to the ring for our first match.  Wendell Hammerschimdt comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd but when he doesn’t get the pop he wanted, he flips off the crowd.  Next, Sonic Blade comes out and the fans pop for him.  Sonic makes it to the ring and enters.  Sonic started off like a rocket and Wendell couldn’t keep up.  Sonic was destroying Wendell until a moment of desperation came and Wendell tossed Sonic out of the ring.  Wendell distracted the ref and just before Sonic could re-enter the ring, King Wilber Townsend came in from the crowd and attacked Sonic.  He hits him with the GTS and leaves him lying.  Wilber takes off through the crowd.  The ref starts his count as when Sonic doesn’t answer by 10, he gets counted out.  Wendell gets the cheap win.  He leaves and Wilber comes back in from the crowd.  He drags Sonic back into the ring where he hits the GTS again.  The World Champion stands over Sonic and laughs maniacally.  (14 ½ min)

Belle meets up with GM Max McGillicutty and wants a stipulation put into tonight’s match that if the twin Betsy gets involved in any way, she wants Felicia automatically disqualified.  Max agrees to the terms.

Our first title match is up and Niven Snake makes his way down to the ring.  Next, the Hardcore Champion the Fiend makes his way out to a huge pop from the crowd.  The ref asks him what he wants for the rules for his match and he states “Coal Miners Glove”.  The ref takes the glove and fixes it to a pole attached to one of the ring side posts.  The Fiend got a near fall early after hitting the Last Caress.  Niven was the first to get the glove and maul the Fiend with it.  Niven gets a near fall after hitting a drive by apron dropkick.   Niven then hit the Fiend with a loaded glove low blow which took the wind out of the champs’ sails.    He nailed another drive by apron dropkick and tried to roll the Fiend up but he kicked out. After getting back into his groove, he attempted the Project 1950 but it was reversed and Niven went for a spear but the Fiend got out of the way and Niven went sailing to the outside of the ring.  He got back in and hit another Spear and got a 2 count.  He started to get a bit frustrated and tried a little too hard.  As the clock neared the time limit, Niven hit the champ with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.  He went for a pin but the bell rang at the two count.  The Fiend retains his title but just barely.  (20 min time limit)  He struggled to get to his feet and like clockwork, Dr. Red Fang rushed in and beat the Fiend down but the champ managed to battle back and hit Fang with the 3 hits from Hell that sent Fang flying out of the ring.  The evil vampire cursed at the Fiend and backed up the ramp.

The Muscles Trio is backstage and they said that they are ready for Match #7.  Thorpe says that the last couple of matches where they tried to be serious didn’t go over well for them.  Once they took the binders off and started to have fun, which is when it all came together.  They said that they are ready for this match and what will come next which will be a shot for the 6 man tag team titles.  Weasley looked at the camera and said “Boooty-O’s”.

Next match Ant Graham comes out with Mason the Mangler who is booed pretty heavily.  Next, 1/3^rd of the 6 man champs ScooterJ comes out to a pop from the crowd and he’s accompanied by his tag team partners TNT and the Axe.  Graham tries to throw a fit but the ref allows for them to remain.  ScooterJ owned the match but Ant kept interfering.  Finally, the Axe and TNT had enough and chased Ant from the ring.  Mason used the distraction to hit ScooterJ with a low blow and then hit a stiff piledriver.  He hooked the leg (and tights) and got the the 1-2-3 before Axe and TNT could return.  Mason steals a win but he takes off as Axe and TNT enter the ring.  The champs helped ScooterJ up and ScooterJ said that someone was going to need to make Ant Graham pay.  (7 min)

The 5^th Column are backstage and they say that the embarrassment that is the Muscles Trio goes away and it will be them who get to go on for the championship. 

Back in the ring, Talon McFrost is already there and joining him as his opponent is the huge Superquake Ferguson.  Ferguson tried to overpower McFrost but it didn’t seem to work and Talon held his own with the 7’ giant.  Ferguson tried to outsmart Talon by picking him up and setting him on the top turnbuckle but Talon leapt off and connected with a swinging neckbreaker.  Talon made the cover and got the 3 count and the win.  Talon celebrated briefly before leaving.  (12 min)

Felicia and her twin Betsy Cummings stormed into GM Max McGillicutty’s office (he was talking with Master Bull) and she demanded to know why Betsy was banned from ringside.  Max just said he was keeping if fair and the twins pouted and tried to hit on both Bull and Max but both said, at the same time, “not interested”.  The twins then stormed out.

It’s time for the #7 meeting between the 5^th Column and the Muscles Trio. The Column (Karl Braun, Baron von Blood and Oswald Zimmerman) came out first and were booed.  Next, the Muscles Trio came out and all were wearing Boooty O’s Shirts (knockoffs of the New Day’s property).  They have their rainbow colored bull horns and they are interacting and having fun with the fans.   Max comes out and says that he wants a clear winner in this game so it will be no time limit with the no DQ rule in place.  The Trio were on fire and totally owned their opponents with constant double and triple teaming.  The Column struggled to stay with them but with the fans 100% feeding the frenzy of the Muscles Trio, they couldn’t be stopped.  McGuire climbs the turnbuckle and hits the Diving Double Stomp onto Karl.  Thorpe and Weasley cleared the ring as McGuire made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  The Muscles Trio win the series and win the chance to meet the 6 man champs for the titles.  They celebrated with the fans before departing.  (18 min)

Master Bull is backstage again with Max McGillicutty and he says he’s ready to run his own show.  Max tells him (and the fans) that they still have a supershow and a PPV before that happens.  Bull’s enthusiasm is dampened a bit but still, he’s excited.

It’s time for our main event.  Felicia Cummings comes out with her twin Betsy and they barely get to the ring when the ref sends Betsy to the back.  She doesn’t understand and complains and stomps off to the back.  Next, the Ladies Champion Southern Belle comes out to a huge pop from the crowd.  She gets in the ring and the lights go off for about 5 seconds but they come back on and Felicia attacks Belle.  The match only goes 2 minutes until Betsy crawls out from under the ring and attacks Belle causing the DQ.  Max comes out and tells the twins that he’s about had it with their interference.  Belle asks for a handicap match between the twins and says she’ll even put the belt on the line.  Max agrees and we have another match.  Belle dominated the twins and with some cheating, they were able to stay up with her but Belle was just on fire.  The three of them beat the snot out of each other for a whopping 30 minutes that kept the fans on the edge of their seats.  Finally, the match gets called as a time limit draw and Max comes out congratulating Belle telling her that she’s been the most dominating champion this year.  The fans pop.  Max tells the twins that even combined they couldn’t defeat Belle and says that unless something really changes, this was the LAST title match for either of them.  They pout and take off.  Belle stays and celebrates with the fans as the show comes to an end.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2017 #598

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Well, due to a miscommunication, two shows actually took place in today’s issue.  You see, Master Bull thought he overheard that the show was going to be cancelled and he took it upon himself to go ahead and book a second one.  It all worked out as the shows were not that far apart and both venues actually sold out so no money was lost. 

Show 1

The first match kicked off the show with Phat Sol taking on Hangman #3.  As Phat was making his way down to the ring, live streaming turned on and TV champion Biceps Bannerman began taunting him.  Phat was a little put off but he shook it off.  Phat and Hangman #3 gave it their all and as much cheating as Hangman #3 tried to do, it didn’t help.  The match ends up going to a 20 minute draw.  Both men left the ring without further incident.

Ant Graham and Dr. Red Fang were backstage being interviewed.  Fang says that due to a contract negotiation breakdown between the creator of PWS and him (he WAS the face of that institution), he is no longer involved with them.  Graham says that Dr. Red Fang is going to concentrate all his efforts into HCW now.  Fang snarls calling the creator an “egghead” and mockingly wishes him best in his future endeavors.

We head to the ring for the next match between Scarlett Phoenix and Betsy Cummings.  Scarlett dominated the match and even thwarted an attempt by Betsy’s twin Felicia to steal a win but she held in there and after hitting a monkey flip, hooked the leg to get the 1-2-3.  Scarlett gets the win. (18min) 

Backstage, Perfect Pecs Stoddard challenged Bruce Biltmore for his spot in the TV title line up.  Bruce accepted.

The next match had Dr. Red Fang with Ant Graham taking on Leon Teremoto.  Fang tore into Leon and caught him totally off guard.  Graham’s interference didn’t do Leon any favors either.  Graham verbally antagonized Leon and received a punch to the face for his interference but Fang rolled Leon up and with his feet on the ropes, got the 1-2-3.  Fang steals another win but takes off like a scalded dog when the Fiend runs down and chases him to the back.  (15 min)

Today will be the 6^th encounter between the Muscles Trio and the 5^th Column.  The Column is up 3 to 2.  The Trio needs a win tonight in order to get another chance to win the series and go on to the PPV to fight for the 6 man titles.  The Trio – Muscles Thorpe, McGuire and Weasley are interviewed and they say that tonight it’s make or break and they will give it all or will go home empty handed.

It’s back to the ring for the next match.  ‘The Gold Standard’ Bruce Biltmore puts his “spot” on the line against Perfect Pecs Stoddard.  This one didn’t go very long as Bruce was beating the holy hell out of Pecs.  2 ½ min in, Pecs’ tag team partner Red McNulty came in through the crowd and attacked Bruce when he was on the outside of the ring.  Bruce was not able to make it back in before the 10 count so the match is awarded to Pecs via countout.   Pecs moves up in the rankings and Bruce moves down.  (2 ½ min)

The 5^th Column (Baron von Blood, Oswald Zimmerman and Karl Braun) are backstage and Oswald puts his fingers together and rubs them back and forth.  “This is the world’s smallest violin playing for the Muscles.”  Baron says “Life ain’t Twinkies and ding dongs boys so be prepared for the end.” They all laugh as they walk away.

It’s time for this show’s main event.  The Muscles Trio come out first and instead of being serious, they’ve gone back to their fun loving, rainbow color bull horn wearing days entertaining the fans.  The Column come out and they are super serious.  Thorpe asks “Why so seriousssssAH” and laughs.  The Column attack.  The Trio had fun in the match and that changed things up for them.  The two teams battled for over 25 minutes that saw both Karl Braun and Oswald Zimmerman get injured.  McGuire hit Baron with a diving double stomp and with no one to make the save, the Trio get the win.  The series is now tied at 3 and 3 and will go to a 7^th encounter.  The Trio celebrated with the fans as the Column limped to the back.  (26 min)

This brings the A-Show to an end and we not cut over to the B Show.

Show 2

GM Max McGillicutty comes out and thanks the fans for attending.  He doesn’t want to waste any time jibber-jabbering so it’s time to get this one moving.

Match 1:  Bishop Ripley vs Jesse California.  This one was a short one as Jesse catapulted Bishop into the corner where his head hit the steel post knocking him silly.  Jesse then locked in a bodyscissors sleeperhold and Bishop passed out.  Jesse gets the submission win in only two minutes.

A limo pulls up and security line the path as the Honorable J C Dykes exits the limo with the Unknown Assassin.  UA is a bit grumpy and says he’s ready for his match but Dykes tells him he has to wait as he secured the MAIN EVENT for them.  UA says “Finally” and they head in flanked by security.

Match 2:  El Gato Negro vs Jazz Emmett.  Jazz had the intensity turned up and El Gato just couldn’t get her groove on.   A double knee backbreaker brought this one to a crashing end as Jazz gets the pin on El Gato.  Jazz gets the win and El Gato leaves after interacting briefly with the fans.  (14 min)

Backstage, TV champion Biceps Bannerman laughs after he finished watching Phat Sol’s match from earlier.  He says that if Phat can’t win with just the image of Biceps in his head, what is he going to do when he has Biceps in the ring beating his ass?

Match 3:  Dude USA vs Superquake Ferguson.  Mick Rude had Superquake’s number this match and he shined against the man twice his size.  After getting hit by the Cutting Edge by Superquake, Mick somehow got Ferguson dumped out of the ring.  He was slow to get back in but as soon as he did, he flattened Rude and went for a pin but Rude kicked out.  Mick would get a pin attempt after doing a single leg takedown but was unsuccessful.  Superquake hit the ropes and Mick caught him with a hip toss.  He then made the quick cover, hooked the leg and got the 1-2-3.  Dude USA gets the win.  (18 min)

The Fiend is backstage and says he gets the Unknown Assassin tonight in a non-title match in the main event.  The Fiend is thankful for having someone else than Fang to fight and looks forward to handing the Unknown Assassin his first real loss.

Match 4:  DJ CJ Spice w/Figgy Newton vs Terra Ryzing.  The DJ came out with Figgy to a pop from the crowd.  Terra Ryzing came out and was booed.  Terra went in aggressive catching CJ off guard.  DJ negated a high knee smash but stopped dead in his tracks when the Tag Team Champions the Steel Curtain came out.  DJ jaw jacked with the champs but turned around and got caught by a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.  Terra hooked the leg (and tights) and got the 1-2-3.  Terra Ryzing gets the win and leaves the ring as Starbuck and Buzz Steel hit the ring and start putting the boots to DJ.  Davis Hoffmeister runs out and slides into the ring and starts to fight the champs off but the numbers overwhelm him and he succumbs to a Buzz Cut.  The Steel Curtain stand tall over their PPV challengers.  Eventually, everyone leaves the ring.  (11 min)

Terra Ryzing storms backstage demanding to know why, after being promised a shot at the TV title tonight, he had to face the dumbass DJ.  Max looks at the board and sees that it has been changed.  Max says that Terra will get a future match and to stop pouting like a child.

Match 5 for the TV Title:  Biceps Bannerman vs Jerry Saunders.  Saunders was not supposed to get this match but for some reason, the match board got changed and Saunders is the recipient of the error.  Biceps went right to work on the back of Saunders and then locked in the Biceps Crunch.  Saunders, in an intense amount of pain, tapped out.  Biceps gets the win via submission in 2 min.  The crowd then popped as Phat Sol ran out with a chair in hand and started slapping Biceps around with it.  Multiple chair shots to the back of Biceps and he finally bailed out of the ring.  Phat stood tall in the ring as the fans pop and Biceps leaves grumbling and cursing Phat.  (2 min for the match; 5 additional for the segment)

Backstage, Hoff n Spicy and Figgy Newton are being interviewed.  The Hoff says that the Steel Curtain have crossed the line and now it’s time for an ass whuppin.  DJ CJ says that the Curtain are cowards and are afraid to face them one on one.  Figgy adds that Hoff N Spicy are the team of the year and at the PPV, they achieve their goals of becoming the World Tag Team Champions.

It’s time for the main event.  The Hardcore Champion the Fiend comes out first to a huge pop from the crowd.  As a reminder, his belt is not on the line tonight.  Security comes out next and lines the ramp to the ring.  The Honorable J C Dykes comes out first and is accompanied by the Unknown Assassin.  The fans go super sour on him but he doesn’t care.  They get down to the ring and UA goes right on the offensive.  The Assassin had the first part of the match sewn up but after the Fiend caught him with the Project 1950, the match turned in his favor and he owned the match.  Seeing that things were not going to end well, Dykes got on the ring apron and threw a fireball into the face of the Fiend.  The ref immediately disqualified the Unknown Assassin awarding the match to the Fiend by DQ.   UA still has not been pinned or submitted.  He and Dykes storm off.  The ref was tending to the Fiend but then Dr. Red Fang ran down and attacked the Fiend.  He hit him with a Transylvania Piledriver and then stood over him and as the show came to an end, he screamed “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE…especially that fool Jowsterguy”.  The show then came to an end.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2017 #597

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Well, it seems that both the card for our Supershow on 8/20 and then our PPV ‘Reign of Champions’ a week later are starting to take shape.  We’re confident that before the week is out, we should have the card almost 100% ironed out. 

The show begins backstage with Drew the Canadian Love Machine approaching Sonic Blade.  Drew tells Sonic that as a former World Champion, it should be he challenging Wilber for the World title at the PPV as his track record speaks for itself.  However, he’s not the top contender so tonight, he is challenging Sonic to a match for that spot at the PPV.  Sonic says Drew had his time in the spotlight now it’s time for him to step aside and let someone else enjoy it.  Drew says that their match later tonight will prove who the better man is.  He walks off.

We go to the ring for our first match which will be a mixed 6 person tag team match.  Figaroa ‘Figgy’ Newton comes out and introduces his team – Hoff n Spicy (Davis Hoffmeister and DJ CJ Spice) along with Taylor Bella.  They all head down to the ring to a pop from the crowd.   Next, their opponents come out.  It is Adam Jameson, Billy Robbins and Scarlett Phoenix.  Taylor started out against Scarlett but it didn’t take long for Davis and CJ to join the fray.  Figgy had his team working as a well-oiled machine.  At the 16 minute mark, Taylor made the hot tag to DJ CJ and Scarlett made the tag to Adam.  Adam hit the ropes but DJ CJ caught him in a handstand headlock.  He quickly turned it into a pin and with a hook of the leg, got the 1-2-3.  Figgy’s team gets the win and continues their winning ways.  After the match, all 6 people shook hands in the ring much to the delight of the fans.

Texas Wildfire wants another match against the Hollywood Star.  After some pressure from GM Max McGillicutty, Star reluctantly agrees.

Next on the card is a rematch between Texas Wildfire and the Hollywood Star.  TW came out first to a huge pop from the crowd followed by the Hollywood Star who got a mixed reaction.  This match went pretty much the same way their last encounter went with TW controlling the majority of the match.  Once again, Star tried to get TW counted out but this time it didn’t work.  TW kept the match pretty much on the mat until he decided to risk a move.  He went to the top rope but Star knocked him down and he hung upside down after his leg got caught in the ropes.  Hollywood pulled him back up and attempted another senton but TW reversed it and nailed a beautifully executed superplex from the top rope.  He made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Texas Wildfire gets the win and walks around the ring trying to get the blood flowing to his leg again.  Both men eventually leave.  (19 min)

We cut back to Max’s office and he has both the Muscles Trio and 5^th Column in there.  Max says that the Column keep using a countout to get their win but if that rule is cancelled, the Trio reign supreme.  Max says that starting with their 5^th encounter tonight and moving forward, the countout rule is being thrown out and all will be no CO matches.  The Column protest but Max ends up kicking everyone out of his office.

We go back to the ring for more action.  Smasher #2 comes out for some singles action.  Next, his opponent the Crocodile Hunter comes out to a huge pop from the crowd.  Smasher #2 goes right on the attack but Croc was expecting it.  Croc was controlling the entire match until in from the crowd came Angry Jack Lawson.  Croc got tossed out of the ring and Smasher #2 distracted the ref while Jack nailed Croc with an angry chokeslam.  Jack then left yelling “that’s what you get for sticking your nose in MY business” and the ref started the count and reached 10 counting Crocodile Hunter down and out and awards the match to Smasher #2.  Smasher laughs at Croc and then leaves.  (12 min)

Backstage, World Champion King Wilber says that neither Drew nor Sonic are worthy adversaries and tonight, he takes on one he considers at the top of his game – Ice Dagger.  He then laughs saying that he really isn’t all that good and tonight’s win will be an easy one.

It’s time for the #5 match between the Muscles Trio and the 5^th Column.  Both teams eventually made it to the ring and they wasted no time getting this one started.  The Column had a lot to prove in this match (that they can win without it being a countout victory) and they were the more aggressive and it paid off for them,  Both teams triple teamed the other a few times in the match but it was the Column who did the most damage.  At the 16 minute mark, Baron von Blood caught Muscles McGuire with a Nuremburg backbreaker and after Oswald and Karl knocked Thorpe and Weasley off the mat, Baron hooked the leg (and the tights for leverage) and got the 1-2-3.  The 5^th Column get the win and now are only one win away from getting a shot at the 6 man titles. 

Ice Dagger is backstage and says that King Wilber is so focused on the fight between Sonic Blade and Drew that he is totally overlooking him and that will be his downfall.

In a different area backstage, manager ‘Honorable’ J C Dykes and the Unknown Assassin stand staring at the camera surrounded by their escort.

Dykes:  "It’s time we get a title shot! I have wrestling companies begging for my champ's presence. You decide the belt. Just pick one. At this time I will reveal more of the deadly skills my Champ has. Show them Assassin!" (Assassin comes forward and karate chops 3 1 inch boards, followed by 3 rows of cinder blocks, followed by 12" ice block.)

Dykes: "He's more deadly and dangerous than the worst tornado ever to hit the state of Texas. I had cows end up in 4 different counties and started giving chocolate milk. My man is barred in 13 countries because of his killer expertise. Shaq O'Neal wants him as a bodyguard. I would say you better follow my demands or ELSE!!" J C Stomps off with the Unknown Assassin in tow along with their police escort.

Drew the Canadian Love Machine comes out first to a huge pop from the crowd.  Next, Sonic Blade comes out to an equally loud pop.  Sonic enters the ring and he and Drew go nose to nose but shake hands before the bell rings.  The match doesn’t even get started before King Wilber makes his way out.  Wilber attempts to trip Sonic but gets caught by the ref and is thrown out from ringside.  Drew begins a comeback but tosses Sonic to the ropes who hits him with a Brazilian Press.  Drew tried to roll through it but Sonic kept the momentum going and rolled it back into a pin and got the 1-2-3.  Sonic Blade gets the win and keeps his spot at the PPV.  Drew was upset but eventually shook Sonic’s hand much to the delight of the fans.  (7 min)

GM Max McGillicutty is backstage with Master Bull and they are working on the plans for the split that will be taking place after the PPV.  Max and Bull seem to be satisfied with the way things are working out. 

We go back to the ring for the next match.  Sarona Reiher makes her way out to the ring first and is mostly booed.  Next, former Ladies Champion Starr Vixen comes out to a pretty huge pop which surprises even her.  She gets in the ring and climbs 2 of the turnbuckles before Sarona asks if they’re going to wrestle or get cheap pops from the crowd.  Starr had the match pretty much locked up until the final minute of the match:

Sarona steals a win over Starr and she proudly flaunts it.  Starr then hits her with a flying dropkick that sends her flying out of the ring over the top rope.  The fans pop for Starr while Sarona makes her way grumbling to the back.  Starr leaves moments later.

A montage airs highlighting King Wilber’s history in HCW.  It shows him defeating (then King) CJ to claim the title of “King” and shortly after that, his winning the World title.  At the end, Wilber basically threatens the entire roster saying that they’d best get used to what they’re seeing as he’s not going anywhere and his title is staying put.

It’s time for the main event.  The music “Ice Dagger Baby” plays and Ice Dagger comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd.  His music is abruptly cut off and King Wilber Townsend comes out on his throne carried by his lackeys.  Wilber holds the World title high as he’s brought to the ring.  He steps off his throne and into the ring as the fans boo him.  Wilber laughs at them and calls the fans sheep for following blindly.  He is the one true person who can save them all.  This one was really no contest as Wilber wiped the map with ID.  Wilber hit a lifting sideslam right off the bat and almost got a 3 right then and there.  Dagger got in a few good shots but nothing that did much damage.  Wilber connecting with a running senton that pretty much folded Dagger up into a neat little package.  He made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  King Wilber is victorious in his title defense.  (7 min).  Then, Sonic Blade came out and rushed to the ring where he and Wilber traded blows with neither getting the upper hand.  Sonic whipped Wilber into the ropes and hit the Alhambra Attack.  Wilber then hit him with a low blow and followed it up with the Go To Sleep.  Wilber stood over Sonic and put his foot on Sonic’s chest and held the title high and laughing as the show came to an end.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2017 #596

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  For now, it seems like we’re back on track so without further ado, let’s get this party started.

Pyro goes off as we get ready for our first match.  First, Figgy Newton comes out and introduces ‘the sensation that is sweeping the nation’ – Hoff n Spicy.  Davis Hoffmeister and DJ CJ Spice come out to a huge pop from the crowd.  Figgy tells us they are challenging the Huber Clan for their spot in the Tag Team line up.  Hoff n Spicy make their way down and high-five the fans as they get in the ring and do a little showboating to get the fans engaged.  Next, Ferb and Butch Huber come out and the fans boo them.  They don’t care.  Ferb gets on the mic before entering the ring and says they will be the first team in HCW history to give Hoff n Spicy their first ever loss.  They laugh as they get in the ring.  The Huber’s appeared to be living up to their claim by beating down and almost beating DJ CJ on a few occasions but once he made the hot tag to Davis, things turned around.  Davis beat the Clan silly for almost 10 minutes until DJ CJ was recovered enough to re-enter the ring.  CJ then took the Clan to town but they began battling back.  As we started to get close to the 30 minute time limit, Davis gets tagged back in but falls victim to double teaming.  Davis manages to reverse a spinning side slam and then locks Ferb in the Hollywood (camel) Clutch.  He cinched it in but Ferb wouldn’t tap.  In the final seconds, Davis reared back even more but Ferb still wouldn’t tap.  The bell rang about one second before Ferb would have tapped but this one ends in a draw.  Hoff n Spicy look to be ready for their inevitable showdown with the Tag Team Champs - the Steel Curtain.

The Duchess is backstage and she’s complaining she hasn’t seen in-ring action in some time.  GM Max McGillicutty tells her that she missed the memo from today and her match is up next.  He suggests she head to the ring now.

The Duchess makes her way out for the next match on the card.  Once in the ring, her opponent Madame Jade comes out to a pop from the crowd.  Jade gets in the ring and the Duchess wastes no time and starts this off with a bang.  However, the bang backfired when Jade caught her with a springboard dropkick practically taking all the wind out of her sails.  Jade controlled the entire match until she tossed Jade out of the ring.  She then went on to distract the ref.  This gave Court member Lady Hermann time to come in from the crowd and chokeslam Jade right on the hard floor taking her breath away.   Lady Hermann then took off through the crowd.  The ref didn’t see anything and he began to count.  He reached 10 and Jade was in no shape to return to the ring.  The ref then awarded the match to the Duchess via countout.  The Duchess paraded around the ring for a moment before leaving.  2 shirts from the back came out to help Madame Jade to the back.  (8 ½ min)

Backstage, the Ryzing Storm (Travis and Terra Ryzing) say that they finally get a shot at the tag team titles.  Travis says that the Steel Curtain have gone on for too long and it will be up to them to shut the champs’ mouths and take their belts.

We’re on to our #4 match between the 5^th Column and the Muscles Trio.  It seems that when the countout rule is in effect, the Column seem to take advantage of it.  However, when it’s a no CO match, the Trio does much better.  Max decrees that tonight’s match will in fact be no countout.  The Muscles Trio (McGuire, Thorpe and Weasley) come out first.  They are serious and there is no goofing around.  Next, the 5^th Column (Baron von Blood, Oswald Zimmerman, & Karl Braun) come out and they each flash 3 fingers supposedly stating tonight will be their third win.  For 13 minutes, the Trio had a slight advantage but it wasn’t until they triple teamed the Column that they took off.  At one point, the Column tried to get counted out but it didn’t work.  After triple teaming Karl, Muscles Thorpe caught him with an overhead suplex and he immediately rolled him up for the 3 count.  The Muscles Trio have just tied the series up 2:2.  They celebrate in the ring as the Column makes their way to the back.  (22 min)

Dr. Red Fang’s manager Ant Graham reviews the segment from last show that had Max telling the Fiend something about “neutering a vampire” and says that Max is up to no good and has it in for the Dr.  Graham says he’ll sue if he so much gets wind that Max is setting his guy up for a fall.

It’s back to the ring for more action.  Already in the ring is ‘Mountain Man’ Junior Huber.  His opponent Ivan Dragovich comes out to booing from the crowd.  Ivan dominated the match but it took him almost the entire match to secure the win.  At the 18 minute mark, Ivan locked Junior in the Accolade but the Mountain Man wouldn’t tap out.  Fearing time was running out, Ivan quickly dropped him and rolled him up to get the 1-2-3.  Ivan Dragovich gets the uncontested win.  (18 min)

The Tag Team Champion the Steel Curtain are backstage and they laugh at the thought where the Ryzing Storm thinks they can be considered any viable threat.  The Ambassador steps forward saying that “These guys are the future of the sport and NO one, not some petering storm or converted cowboy and his disc jockey friend are going to be any threat to the champs.  Buzz and Starbuck lean in and collective say “Word”.

The Hollywood Star makes his way out to a mixed reaction from the fans.  Next, Texas Wildfire comes out and gets the second loudest pop of the night.   The Star didn’t care for that and attacked TW before he entered the ring.  Wildfire quickly battled back and owned the match.  Fearing of getting his ass beat any more, Star dragged TW out of the ring hitting a DDT on the floor.  He then rolled into the ring to break the count and then back out again.  He picked up TW and set him up on a table.  He then went back into the ring, climbed to the top turnbuckle and then hit a falling star senton to the floor on TW and both went through the table.  HOLY SH*T chants rang out.  Star managed to get to his feet and make it to the ring.  He then slid right in beating the 10 count.  The ref then awarded the match via countout to the Hollywood Star.  He left the ring and limped to the back while a few refs came out to help TW.  Once he shook it off and showed the fans he was ok, they popped even louder than before.  (9 ½ min)

GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that on 8/20, HCW will be hosting a SUPERSHOW which is honoring the 600^th edition of the wresting newsletter.  Then on 8/27, HCW will be having it’s Reign of Champions PPV.  He encourages everyone to get their tickets now or order the event live on PPV.

It’s time for our main event.  Just before things could kick off, Davis Hoffmeister and DJ CJ Spice came out and went to sit at commentary.  Then the Ryzing Storm (Travis and Terra Ryzing) came out and were booed.  Next, the tag team champs the Steel Curtain (Buzz and Starbuck Steel) came out with their manager the Ambassador and they too were booed.  Buzz and Starbuck flipped off the fans as they made their way down to the ring.  Seeing that Hoff n Spicy were sitting at commentary didn’t sit well with the champs and they tried to argue with the ref who told them to just get over it and get the match started.

Buzz and Starbuck retain their titles but Hoffmeister and DJ CJ were complaining to the ref that Starbuck used an illegal object.  Starbuck discarded it before the ref could find it and the Curtain played coy.   Hoff went around the ring and found the object but before he could show it to the ref, Starbuck lauched himself over the top rope and onto Hoffmeister taking him down.  DJ CJ tackled Buzz in the ring but ended up eating the Buzz Cut.  Buzz goes out to help Starbuck up and hands him his title and the two (with the Ambassador) make their way up the ramp as the show comes to an end.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2017 #595 (08/02)

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  A fan had inquired “Was there a bloody match that network sponsors required you to edit from the program, causing the extra delay?”  To that, we respond with no.  The process of shifting operations to Tacoma, WA has hit a few speed bumps and that is why the posting of our shows has been a little off.  GM Max McGillicutty commented on reporter abuse though saying that reporters are not wrestlers and moving forward, any wrestler, manager or HCW talent who aggressively puts their hands on a reporter will see their careers cut short.  “This isn’t Fox where some congressman attacks a reporter…this is PROFESSIONAL wrestling with the emphasis on Professional.  Do your job, be a professional or get the hell out!”

We will strive to bring you the action in a timely manner but please bear with us if we’re late in our postings.

Our show kicks off with our Ladies in action.  Madame Jade comes out first to a mixed reaction from the crowd.  Next, fan favorite and former Ladies Champion El Gato Negro comes out to a huge pop from the crowd.  This one only went 4 ½ minutes because Jade was tossed out of the ring and she landed awkwardly on her ankle.  She wasn’t able to make it back in.  El Gato gets the win.  Afterwards, she went out to check on Jade.  After ensuring she would be ok, El Gato extended her hand to Jade who shook it gladly.  After Jade left, El Gato addressed the fans saying that after the PPV, she will be taking time off to heal some nagging injuries.

Hardcore Champion the Fiend walks into GM Max McGillicutty’s office and says he’s fed up with Dr. Red Fang and wants him gone.  Max says the only way to do that is to give him his rematch.  Fiend says his career is not worth Fang’s.  Max tells him there’s always one way to neuter a vampire.  He leans over and whispers something to the Fiend.

We head to the ring for some tag team action.  First, two members of the Huber Clan – Ferb and Butch – make their way down to booing from the fans.  Next, Figgy Newton comes out and introduces everyone’s favorite duo – Hoff n Spicy – Davis Hoffmeister and DJ CJ Spice.  HnS make their way to the ring to a huge pop from the crowd.  Davis walks by a fan wearing a mask who doesn’t return the high five as he makes his way to the ring (ah well, you can’t have every fan like you).  Davis and DJ CJ controlled the match until a mistimed intervention from Figgy almost gave them their first loss.  The duo quickly got back into their groove and continued to hand it to the Clan members.  Just before Hoff was going to hit a piledriver, the Tag Team Champions Buzz and Starbuck Steel ran out and attacked Hoff n Spicy causing a disqualification on the Huber’s part.  Buzz and Starbuck beat down Hoff n Spicy but Davis hits Buzz with a monkey flip sending him flying over the top rope.  DJ CJ hits Starbuck with a flying dropkick that also sends him flying.  Hoff n Spicy are joined by Figgy in the ring and they stand tall as the Curtain backs off muttering and cursing at them.  (20 ½ min for the match; 5 extra for the aftermath)

We go backstage where Magnum Kone, once again bloodied, is being helped up.  He says that it was Covfefe who attacked him and tonight, he’s going to end it.

Music plays (“Ice Dagger, Baby) and Ice Dagger makes his way out to booing from the fans.  Next, we hear “Gumbo 7:30 says it Suppa Time, Bitch!” and out comes the Ragin Cajun Rad Gumbo accompanied by his manager MJ.  Ice Dagger attacks Rad as he enters the ring and this one starts off right away.  Dagger was killing it in the ring but Rad began a comeback with the assistance from MJ.  It didn’t go too long as Covfefe ran out like he was being chased and hit the ring.  Gumbo tried to stand in his way but ended up getting hit by a tackle and that caused this one to end in a DQ also.  The lights went out for a few seconds but when they came back on, Magnum Kone was at the ring and Covfefe was taking off through the crowd.  Magnum apologized to Rad for the interference.  Magnum then took a mic and challenged Covfefe to a match at the Supershow.  Magnum tells GM Max McGillicutty to make sure it happens.

The Honorable J C Dykes and the Unknown Assassin pull up in a limo outside.  Security is lined up.  Dykes tells security that they better make sure there is no interference in the Unknown Assassin’s match or they will end up feeling the wrath of UA.

We head back to the ring for the #3 match between the 5^th Column and the Muscles Trio.  The series is tied at 1:1.  The Column make their way out first and are booed pretty heavily.  Next, the Muscles Trio make their way down but they are not wearing their rainbow colored bull horns.  I guess they expect this match to mean business.  The Column wasted no time in going on the offensive.  Only 3 minutes in, the fight spilled to the outside of the ring.  Karl set up a table while Oswald and Baron fought off Weasley and Thorpe.  Karl then hit a low blow on McGuire and then nailed him with a Blitzkreig stunner right through the table.  Karl, the legal man, rolled back in and sat in the corner.  The ref ended up counting to 10 and counted McGuire down and out.  Karl steals the CO win for his team and that puts them at 2:1 in the best of 7 series.  Thorpe and Weasley tended to McGuire as the 5^th Column walked up the ramp laughing.

US Champion El Chango is in the house and he says that tonight, he is defending his title.  He knows he’ll be in for a tough match against Angry Jack Lawson but he’s confident he will retain.

Tobias Snake makes his way out to the ring for singles action.  Once in the ring, security comes down lining the ramp.  The Honorable J C Dykes comes out and introduces (in his words) the greatest champion to ever live – the Unknown Assassin.  The two of them walk down to the ring as debris pelt them.  Dykes grabs a mic and tells the fans to “settle down you trailer park trash or we’re out of here”.  The fans continue and Dykes tells UA to just leave but all of a sudden, Dude USA Mick Rude shows up on the ramp and prevents UA and Dykes from leaving.  They turn around and head back to the ring.  Tobias took advantage of the distraction that Rude was using against the Unknown Assassin and began to dominate the match.  UA would battle back but Mick Rude would run down to the ring to inform the ref about illegal conduct.  The Unknown Assassin was pushed back by the ref after illegally choking Tobias in the corner. Dykes used that time to nail Tobias in the head with his loaded canteen.  Mick Rude ran over as UA was making the cover but Dykes grabbed Rude’s leg preventing him from getting to the ring (and sacrificing himself in the process).  The ref counted to 3 just as Rude was asking the crowd if they wanted him to pop Dykes right in the mouth.  Dykes squirmed and pleaded just long enough for the Unknown Assassin to come to his aid and take down Rude.  UA hit Rude with multiple knee strikes blooding him up.  Dykes then grabbed UA’s arm and they left as security surrounded them (like a bubble) and got them to the back.  (11 min for the match; 5 for the aftermath)

Angry Jack Lawson is stopped on his way to the ring and he is asked if he is done with Outback Oscar and he says that he’ll be done with him when he’s good and ready.  Jack then storms off heading to the ring

It’s time for our Main Event.  First, the challenger Angry Jack Lawson heads down to the ring.  Just as he enters, he looks at ringside and sees Outback Oscar and the Crocodile Hunter sitting there in the front row.  Jack becomes infuriated.  The US Champion El Chango makes his way out to a pop from the crowd.  He heads down to the ring and upon entering the ring, nods his head in acknowledgement to Oscar and Croc.  He enters the ring only to have Jack immediately attack him.  El Chango sends Jack right out of the ring and Jack slams him hands repeatedly on the ring apron before re-entering.  Jack then rams El Chango right into the ringpost.  The champ shakes it off and keeps Jack on the defensive for the next few minutes.  Jack is then hurled out of the ring by El Chango and he lands right in front of Oscar and Croc.  Oscar throws his drink into Jack’s face (he was trying to help revive him – that’s his story) and Jack’s eyes go all wide and Oscar and Croc take off through the crowd with Jack chasing after them.  Jack ends up getting counted out and El Chango retains his title.   He celebrates with the fans as the show comes to an end.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2017 #594 (07/30)

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We start off with the news that GM Max McGillicutty and newly promoted (to) GM Master Bull have collaborated and come up with names for the respective shows they are going to manage.  Max says that his show in Washington he will manage will be called “Tacaoma Thunder” and Bull will manage “Phoenix Heat”. 

The show kicks off with a ladies match.  Sarona Reiher comes out first to a mixed reaction from the crowd.  Next, Jazz Emmett comes out and she receives much of the same.  Sarona had control for the majority of the match but only barely.  Jazz stayed with her till the end.  The match ends up hitting the 20 minute mark bringing this one to a time limit draw.  Both ladies left without any other incidents.

Covfefe is backstage.  ‘The Ragin Cajun’ Rad Gumbo sneaks up behind him and yanks off his mask.  Covfefe takes off like a scalded dog.  Rad, frustrated, throws the mask on the floor.

We head back to the ring for a challenge for a championship spot.  First, Drew the Canadian Love Machine comes out to a HUGE pop from the crowd.  Drew is challenging Superstar Chic Monroe for his spot in the World title lineup.  Chic comes out next and the crowd boos him.  I think this crowd is biased towards the CLM.  Drew and Chic went toe to toe for 6 minutes but after getting a near fall from hitting the Lover Bomb, Drew took off like crazy.  Drew keeps the offense going and nails a corkscrew pescado for another near fall.  Drew then bodyslams Chic and before the Superstar knew what was happening, Drew had rolled him up for the 1-2-3.  Drew wins the match much to the fans delight and is once again back in the World title hunt.  (13 min)

There is a confrontation backstage between the Muscles Trio and the 5^th Column.  Baron von Blood taunts Muscles Thorpe with the fact that the Column is standing one step closer to regaining the 6 man titles.  Muscles McGuire steps in between them and says the only reason the Column has a win was they used a count out to their favor.  If they really want to see who the better team is, they should make this a no countout match.  Karl Braun agrees and says it will go to reflect the dominance their team brings.

We go back to the ring for our next match.  First, Pete (the former PUN-isher) Punsher comes out to little reaction from the crowd.  Ever since he gave up the puns, the fans have been pretty “meh” over him.   Next, 1/3 of the 6 Man champs comes out and it’s the Axe!  The fans pop for him and that just causes Pete to fume in the ring.  Pete tries to attack Axe before the bell but Axe just sends him over the top rope to the floor.  He laughs causing Pete to become even more irate.  Unfortunately for Pete, this was not his night. The Axe was all over him owning the entire match (scored 166 to 77).  Axe brought this to a close after he nailed Pete with a power punch and getting the pin at the 18 minute mark.  Pete rolls out of the ring and leaves as Axe celebrates in the ring before departing.

Angry Jack Lawson is backstage being interviewed and he is asked if the second match between him and Outback Oscar is going to be another quickie and chuckles. Jack looks at him and asks if he knows what it’s like lying on a slab in a morgue.  The reporter gulps and says no.  Jack says he best shut his trap unless he wants to find out.  He says the match between him and Oscar was a fluke and he’ll prove it tonight.  Jack shoves the reporter as he storms off.

Next up is match #2 in the Best of 5 between the Muscles Trio and the 5^th Column. The Column are up by 1.  The Muscles Trio (McGuire, Thorpe and Weasley) come out first dressed in flashy attire and wearing their rainbow colored bull horns.  The fans (and kids) pop as they make their way down to the ring. The setting becomes more somber and the 5^th Column (Baron von Blood, Oswald Zimmerman and Karl Braun) make their way down and mock the fans as they enter the ring.  This time, the Muscles Trio had the Column’s number and the Column (after the first few minutes of the match) had trouble keeping it together.  The Trio triple teamed their opponents multiple times.  Karl Braun and Oswald Zimmerman tried to walk off and get counted out but the ref told them to get back in the ring.  While that was going on, Muscles McGuire hits Baron von Blood with a Pendulum backbreaker and with no one to make the save, he scored the pin.  The Muscles Trio tie this one up 1 to 1.  (17 min)

Backstage, Ladies Champion Southern Belle is approached by Lexy Flexx.  Lexy introduces herself as the #1 contender and tonight, she goes from being a contender to the champion.  Belle tells her that words are useless unless backed up by something else and by looking at Lexy, she has nothing to back those words up.  Lexy slaps Belle and the two begin to scuffle until Max and security intervene.  Max tells Belle that he is giving their match a 30 minute time limit and making it a no DQ/CO match. Lexy smiles before walking off.

We go back to the ring for the next match.  Angry Jack Lawson storms out to the ring amidst the booing from the fans.  He paces in the ring as he waits for his opponent.  Outback Oscar comes out next and the fans pop huge for him.  He hi-fives with the fans as he makes his way down.  Jack doesn’t want to wait and rushes out to attack him.  The two brawl briefly before taking in into the ring.  Oscar was in control of the match for the most part until Jack hit him with a low blow that the ref didn’t see.  After that, Jack hit Oscar with practically everything but the kitchen sink.  Oscar began mounting a comeback and tried to lock in the Outback stretch but Jack powered out of it and then grabbed Oscar by the throat and hit a huge Angry Chokeslam.  Jack folded Oscar up like an accordion and got the 1-2-3.  Jack stands up and screams in victory.  Oscar recovered slowly and got to his feet.  He then mustered up some intestinal fortitude and hit Jack from behind with a dropkick that sent the angry one flying over the top rope.  Jack slammed his hands repeatedly on the mat but Oscar celebrated in the ring even though he lost.  (17 min)

‘The Ragin Cajun’ Rad Gumbo and his manager MJ are backstage watching the action on the big screen when Covfeve rushes in and attacks Rad.  MJ tried to help but ended up eating a big foot to his face.  Covfefe then picked up Rad and powerbombed him through the snacks table.  Security ran in but they were too late as Covfefe ran off.

It’s time for the main event.  First, the challenger Lexy Flexx makes her way down to the ring to a mixed reaction from the crowd.  Next, the Ladies Champion Southern Belle makes her way down and the fans pop huge for her.   Belle gets into Lexy’s face and holds the title inches away taunting her opponent.  Belle schooled her opponent teaching Lexy a thing or two.  Belle however, didn’t try to go for the pin or submission very often as she was forcing for Lexy to beat her.  Try as she might though, Lexy wasn’t able to keep offense going and it was all Belle.   Lexy finally got something going in the final moments of the match.  She hit the ropes and caught Belle with a front missile dropkick but had nothing in the tank to try to make a pin.  The bell rang bringing this one to a 20 minute draw.  Belle was handed back her title and celebrated her retaining the belt with the fans as the show comes to an end.
