HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #493

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.   We have a lot of action for you today.  King CJ was told he had to participate in the gauntlet match today without making any more excuses or he’d be stripped of the World title and fired.  We did see him sulking around backstage so we know he’s here.  Also, we know that both the Stache and the Wraith will be in the building today so it will be interesting to see what happens next.

Our action kicks off with the Crocodile Hunter taking on Adam Jameson in a non-title match.  These two put on a hell of show and was a great way to kick off the show.  The fans were on the edges of their seats for the entire match.  Lots of back and forth action.  Adam dropped Croc with lots of Pele kicks and the Adam Clash but Croc battled back with lots of submission attempts.  Just as the time limit was winding down, Croc hit Adam with the Croc’s Throne but then Ivan Dragovich came out for the distraction.  He jawjacked with Croc just long enough for the time limit to expire.  This one ends in a time limit draw.  Ivan gets in the ring and beats down on Croc but the Hunter battles back and dropkicks Ivan out of the ring.  Croc grabs a mic and tells Ivan that he’s poked the bear enough and at the next show, he will put the title on the line and embarrass the hell out of Ivan so he tucks his tail between his legs and runs back to Russia.   (20 min draw)

We cut to the back where we see the Stache enter the building.   The fans pop for him based on his little “home invasion” on the Wraith last episode.  As he gets further into the building, police officers meet him and then ask “Is this the guy?”  The Wraith comes out from the shadows (hiding maybe) and says “Yes, this is the lunatic that broke into my home, destroyed it and almost killed me.”  The police then arrest the Stache all the while the Wraith is laughing like a hyena.    As the Stache is escorted out, the Wraith hollers after him “Can you did that sucka? HAHAHAHAHA.  He turns around and standing right there is GM Max McGillicutty.  Max is not happy.  The Wraith complains “Well, he did attack me and destroy my property so he gets what’s coming to him.”  Max tells the Wraith that he is wrestling tonight.  “Oh yeah, I got the perfect opponent already in mind.  He’s such a badass that I’ll have a tough time with him.”  Max asks who.  The Wraith replies “Turnip.  He is my opponent tonight.”  The Wraith walks away laughing.   Max heads back to his office.

Hollywood Star & Bruce Biltmore head to the ring and say that they want another shot at Hernandez and Wendell and this time they want a no DQ/CO match.  Handsome Hernandez and Wendell Hammerschmidt comes out saying that they’ve beaten the Star and “so-called gold standard” twice now and they feel they have nothing to prove.  Bruce questions their manhood until Hernandez and Wendell accept.  Bruce and the Star tried their damndest but Hernandez and Wendell controlled the match for the most part.  Wendell slaps Bruce with the Red Arrow but ends up getting tossed out of the ring.  Wendell gets back in immediately tries for a pin but the Star breaks it up.   Hernandez is back in and he and Wendell doubleteam Bruce.  Star tries for another save but keeps getting sent out of the ring.  Wendell pulls Star out of the ring and hurls him into the steel steps.  Finally, Hernandez climbs to the top rope and hits a moonsault.  He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Handsome Hernandez and Wendell Hammerschmidt win this one in solid fashion.  (17 min)

Back in his office, Max finishes a phone call and snickers.  “Oh, this is going to be great” Max says before getting up and walking out of his office.

The Desperados (El Chango and Leon Teremoto) head to the ring.  El Chango says that the one true Desperados team needs to see action.  They call out for any challengers.  Superquake & Angry Jack accept and it looks like we have ourselves an impromptu match.   The Desperados totally owned Angry Jack and didn’t allow him to get any offense in.  After being beaten down for a few minutes, he made the hot tag to Superquake and he began cleaning house.  At the 5 minute mark, Superquake hurled Leon out of the ring in a huge show of strength that got the fans chanting “Holy S*it”.  El Chango, not one to see his team manhandled, grabbed a chair and blasted Superquake with it resulting in a DQ.  ‘Quake turned, seemingly unaffected by the chair shot and nailed El Chango with a chokeslam.  El Chango rolled out of the ring and he and Leon crept up the ramp in shock.  Superquake and Jack sort of celebrated by posing and flexing in the ring but the fans really didn’t care.  (5 min)

The Steel Curtain and Biceps talk about their match tonight against the Hubers.  Starbuck says that this match will be no different than against the 5th Column and they will be victorious again tonight.  Biceps is in the back going Woo Woo Woo and Buzz ends with “Word”.

We go back to the ring and the Wraith makes his way out.  He points to his head (presumably telling us how smart he is) and gets in the ring.   Turnip comes out and he does not want to be in this match but he is told he has no choice.  The Wraith says to give Turnip a change, it will be a no DQ match.  He laughs.  The Wraith began beating Turnip all over the ring.  Poor Emerson only got in 4 moves for the entire match.  The Wraith kept dropping Turnip with backhand chops and when going for the pin, he would pull Turnip up after a two count.  The fans by now are trying to start a “Turnip” chant but it doesn’t do any good.  Commotion erupts from the crowd as the Stache (freed from the police, I’m guessing, from Max’s phone call) rushes the ring and nails the Wraith with multiple clotheslines and then a piledriver.  The Stache pulls Emerson over and drops him on top of the Wraith.  He leaves the ring as the ref counts 1…2….3.  Turnip gets the win!   UNBELIEVABLE!  The Stache gets back in the ring and raises Emerson’s arm and then helps him from the ring.  (11 min).  The Wraith eventually recovers and heads to the back all pissed off.

The Omegatron lights up again with the announcement of the 3rd member of the 2016 Hall of Fame.  It is none other than the Negronomicon.  For those who don’t remember, Negronomicon left to go start his own federation but his plane got caught in the Bermuda Triangle and was never seen from again.  We assume his induction will be In Memoriam.   It is then announced that the Super Warrior will be inducted by his one-time rival Mohammed Hassan.

It is time for our Gauntlet Match.  The rules are announced.  King CJ has to wrestle 3 times tonight and if he loses, he will have to defend his title against the man who beat him.  Each match will have a 20 minute time limit.  If he wins, he does not have to defend the World title until the PPV next month.  King CJ makes his way out and is booed pretty heavily.  His first opponent tonight is the Axe.   Axe comes out and the two go toe to toe.  CJ proved his stamina by taking the Axe to a 20 minute draw.  Axe left disappointed.  Next, Outback Oscar made his way out and that match basically went the same way but Wilber Townsend made his way out and distracted Oscar.  CJ then threw Oscar out of the ring and distracted the ref.  Wilber then dropped Oscar with the “Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show” and Oscar ended up getting counted out at the 15 minute mark.  Finally, Sonic Blade came out for the third match.  CJ was definitely dragging and Sonic looked fresh.  Sonic bounced CJ all of the ring and looked really strong.  CJ got lucky when Sonic tossed him into the corner and then charged but CJ moved and Sonic hit the corner hard.   He staggered out of the corner and CJ nailed him with a flying dropkick.  He then hooked the tights (ref didn’t see) and put his feet on the middle rope for leverage.  The ref counted 1..2..3.  King CJ wins this one in crooked fashion.  Sonic tried to tell the ref the tights were hooked but the ref left with CJ.  CJ handed something to the ref (a payout???) and the two of them left.  Sonic left the ring pissed off.  (48 min total for all 3 matches)

We got an update on the Fiend after the attack by Phat Sol.  The Fiend seems to have recovered pretty well but was not happy about the fact that the Ambassador bought his contract only to bury him.  He said he had some stuff to think about before returning to the ring.

It is time for the Main Event.  First, the Huber Clan (Butch, Junior and Ferb) came out with Wilber Townsend.  Wilber got on the mic and said that tonight, the Hubers will make him proud when they bring that 6 man tag team trophy home to them.  He is interrupted when Biceps Bannerman and the Steel Curtain made their way out.   As they make their way to the ring, the Muscles Trio attack them and beat them down before tossing them into the ring.  It only took about a minute for the champs to shake off the cobwebs and they just dismantled the Hubers.  Outback Oscar ended up brawling with Wilber Townsend and the two fought to the back.  In the middle of the horrendous beating, somehow Junior Huber had the presence of mind to throw Starbuck Steel out of the ring.  The Muscles Trio were on him line flies at a BBQ.  They beat him down while the Hubers distracted the ref.  Finally Buzz and Biceps had enough and chased off the Muscles Trio but the damage was done.  Starbuck ended up getting counted out.  The Huber Clan gets the win via a countout but the trophy does not change hands.  The Hubers tried to attack Starbuck but Buzz and Biceps grabbed chairs and chased them from the ring.  Starbuck called for a mic.  “Muscles Trio!  You scumbags!  You run around pretending to be a tough team but all you do is cheat and lie.  Eddie Guerrero, none of you are.”  (the crowd pops)  “Listen, Buzz here loves to talk on the mic and has a real knack for it and normally I’d let him go to town on your sorry asses but I feel I just has to give my two cents.   Huey, Dewey and Louie are nothing more than cartoon characters posing as wrestlers.  Listen, the gist of this is… Muscles Trio…I am putting the challenge out there RIGHT NOW that we – The Steel Curtain and the biggest man in the sport Biceps Bannerman want YOU at Reign of Champions.  Plain and simple…we will beat the crap out of you and you will become an afterthought.”  Buzz steps over and says “WOO WOO WOO” and Biceps leans in and says “Word”.  The three leave the ring.  (21 /2 min for the match; 30 for the segment)

Just as the show is coming to an end, we hear a commotion taking place backstage.  The Wraith attacks Emerson backstage and beats him down.  The Stache (not sure why he didn’t help this time) was standing by with Police of his own and after witnessing the beatdown, they arrested the Wraith for assault and battery.  This time, the Stache laughed as the Wraith was taken away in handcuffs.  The show ends with the Stache smiling and waving as the Wraith departs in the back of the police car.

That’s all for now.  Be sure to stay tuned for more action.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #492

https://hwfcswafantasy.blogspot.com

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Tonight, we will see lots of action with the Fiend taking on the man who attacked him – Phat Sol.  Sol, now under the guidance of the Ambassador, has turned up the violence a notch or two.  We are still trying to figure out why the Ambassador bought the contract of the Fiend only to turn on him.   Word on the street is that we will hear from him on today’s show.

We head to the ring for our first match.  Missy Chick makes her way down to the ring to a decent pop from the crowd.  Her opponent, Betsy Cummings and her twin sister Felicia head down to the ring to booing from the crowd.  Betsy doesn’t appreciate it and immediately attacks Missy.  After only a minute or so, Missy took control of the match and Betsy didn’t know what to do.  Felicia tried to get involved in the match and the ref immediately sent her to the back.  Without her sister there to provide “strategy”, Betsy struggled.  She managed to hit Missy with a monkey flip but Missy got up, climbed to the top turnbuckle and hit a top rope Missycanrana.  She followed it up with the Missyplex and locked in a guillotine choke.  Betsy, totally caught off guard, tapped out.  Missy gets the win.  Missy celebrated with the fans (did a little dance) before heading to the back.  (10 min)

Backstage, the Ambassador is interviewed.  “Fiend, people ask me why I bothered to buy your contract, get you disqualified and then had Phat Sol attack you.  It’s as simple as this.  There are people who view you as a threat and what better way to squash a threat is to cut it off before it has time to grow.  That is exactly why I did what I did.  Your feelings may be hurt but that’s the least of my concerns.  I can see your “Misfit message” spreading its evil tentacles and infecting everything and everyone you’ve come in contact with.  Your sloppy haircut, Goth makeup etc are sending the wrong message and it’s up to me to prevent that from spreading.  Tonight, you get Phat Sol in the ring but it won’t make a difference; Phat will destroy you and eventually you’ll find you don’t want to do this anymore and you will leave.  On that day, the HCW will be rid of this ‘infection’ and things will go back to being safe and sound.”

We head back to the ring for our next match.  First, Ferb Huber (without his siblings) makes his way to the ring.  Next, Billy Robbins comes out and joins him in the ring.  The bell rings and Ferb decides to leave instead but Billy starts smacking him around to get him ‘riled up’. Billy apparently woke the ‘sleeping giant’ in Ferb because Ferb basically destroyed Billy.  Ferb used brute strength and just tossed Billy around like a rag doll.  After nearly taking Billy’s head off with a big boot to the face, he threw Billy into the ropes and hit a spinning side slam.  He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Ferb Huber gets a rare singles win.  He stares at the prone body of Billy and then just leaves.  (13 min)

GM Max McGillicutty calls the Ladies Champion the Duchess to his office.  He reprimands her and says that “hurting” someone in the ring is one thing but when you jeopardize their health (referring to El Gato Negro’s allergic reaction), that just crosses the line.  Max says that she is suspended.  And because she will be suspended without defending her title within 30 days, she will be stripped of it. When the Duchess tries to explain why she does this to El Gato, Max says he doesn’t want to hear it.  El Gato walks by and hears this.  She asks Max not to suspend her but to give her a 1:1 with the Duchess once medical clears her to return to the ring.  Max says that it will still be a few weeks until El Gato is back at 100% so Max tells both women to take off for four weeks.  Once they return, they can have their match.  El Gato proposes the match take place at the Reign of Champions PPV in August.  Max likes the idea and says he will grant the Duchess the extra time so she is not stripped of the title.  The Duchess breathes a sigh of relief, sends an evil glance at El Gato Negro and then leaves.

We head back to the ring for our next match which is for placement in the World title top 10.  Outback Oscar vs Wilber Townsend is next up.  Wilber comes out first and is accompanied by the Huber Clan (Ferb, Butch, and Junior).  Wilber has them stay at the top of the ramp and heads to the ring.  Next, Outback Oscar comes out and he quickly passes by the Hubers as to not get attacked.  Wilber stuns Oscar with a lifting sideslam.  He goes for a quick pin and surprisingly got a 2 count.  Wilber then drops Oscar with the Go To Sleep.  He then hits a scoop powerslam but Oscar locks in the Outback Stretch.  Wilber taps out.  Outback Oscar gets the win in 3 minutes.  The Hubers rush the ring and start to beat down on Oscar until the 6 Man tag team trophy holders the Steel Curtain (Buzz and Starbuck) and Biceps Bannerman hit the ring.  All 8 men are in the ring and after getting dumped out of the ring one by one, Wilber and the Huber Clan slowly back up the ramp.  Wilber says that the 6 Man trophy holders are a sad excuse for champs and says that the Hubers want their shot at the trophy.  Starbuck gets on the mic and says they accept and can do the match next show. Wilber and the clan depart.  The 6 man champs shake hands with Outback Oscar and then they all leave.

Master Bull meets up with Ravishing Raquel.  Bull agrees to step back from attempting to manage her career and says he will remain behind the scenes to provide a point of view if she ever needs it.  She agrees that this is best.

Wendell Hammerschmidt vs Travis Ryzing is next on the card and both men are already in the ring.  Wendell began beating the tar out of Travis and the Dark Storm just couldn’t manage to stay on his feet long enough to mount an offense.  Luck changed when Wendell climbed the top turnbuckle and as he was trying for something, Travis hit the ropes causing Wendell to fall back into the ring.  Travis picks him up and locks in a power full nelson.  Wendell taps out.  Travis ‘Dark Storm’ Ryzing gets the win in 5 minutes via submission.  Both men leave the ring fairly quick.

GM Max McGillicutty comes out and announces the Gauntlet match but via Omegatron, CJ appears says he’s not ready.  He blabbers on about a scratchy throat or something and says they need to postpone the match until next week.  Max gets pissed and says that if CJ does not wrestle at the next show in the gauntlet match, he will be suspended and stripped of the title.

Next up is Ravishing Raquel vs Lexy Flexx.  Lexy comes out first and then is followed by Ravishing Raquel.  Raquel looks very determined and doesn’t waste a minute.  Raquel dominated the match and never let up.  It looked like this one was going to run into a draw but Max showed up on the Omegatron and said that this would now be a no-time limit match. Raquel didn’t need much extra time to get the job done.  After knocking her down with a clubbing smash to the back, she locked in an ankle lock.  Lexy screamed in pain but Raquel quickly turned it into a pin attempt and 3 seconds later, Raquel has her arm raised as the winner of this match.  (22 min).  She left almost immediately after the match ended.

The Omegatron lights up and the second member of the Hall of Fame is announced and it is none other than the Super Warrior.  For those who don’t remember, SW idolized the Ultimate Warrior and modeled his life and career after the former great.  It is also announced that Donnie B will be inducted by ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair.

We cut to the home of the Wraith who had not been seen since his cowardly attack on the Stache (don’t ask how we found his house).  The Wraith nervously continues to peak out his windows.  He picks up the phone and calls GM Max McGillicutty saying he’s still “sick” and can’t come in today.  Max tells him he can’t keep hiding out forever.  In fact, Max says that the Wraith has a match next show and if he doesn’t show up for his match he will be fired.  The Wraith hangs up as the doorbell rings.  The Wraith looks outside to see a delivery truck.  He asks “who’s there” through the door and the driver answers “Candygram for Mongo, er I mean the Wraith”.  The Wraith’s face lights up and says “Wraith like candy” and opens the door only to be greeted by…the Stache!  Stache throws the open box of candy at him (he helped himself to some) and then beat down on the Wraith.  The two fought all over the place and ended up in the kitchen.  The Wraith exclaimed “BEER BREAK” and stopped to drink a beer while the Stache stood there watching.  The Wraith was taking his time so he helped himself to a shot of whisky.  The Stache got tired of waiting and after chucking his glass against a wall, he went back after the Wraith who got startled and spilled the rest of his drink down his front.  The two fought into the living room and stopped to look at a Wraith Family picture (awkward!!!)  Wraith took off through the house and ran upstairs.  The Stache then started beating him with whatever household items he could find.  At one point, the two were dueling with broomstick handles making lightsaber sounds.  The Stache then broke the broom handle over the Wraith’s head and then took him out onto the balcony (hey, he has a nice view).  The Stache then HURLS the Wraith over the railing and he plummets to the swimming pool below (the people in attendance started a HOLY SH*T chant).   The Stache makes his way outside and when he looks for the Wraith, he is nowhere to be found.   The Stache mumbles under his breath “crap” and then leaves as police sirens sound in the distance.

It is time for our main event.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out first and announces that this will be a no time limit match.  First, the Fiend makes his way down to the ring and gets a pop from the fans.  Next, the Ambassador leads Phat Sol out to booing and hissing from the fans.  They make their way to the ring.  The Ambassador yells at the Fiend saying he will never be anything more than a jobber.  Before the match could begin, the Ambassador put handcuffs on the Fiend with both hands behind his back. What resulted next was nothing short of a blood bath.  Phat destroyed the Fiend and without the ability to fight back, all he could do was take the beating.  By the time Phat was done with him, the Fiend had the Crimson Mask on.  The ref was getting ready to stop the fight when Phat made the cover and yelled for the ref to make the count.  The ref counted 1…2…3.  Phat Sol gets the win after 10 minutes of total annihilation.  Medics come out and after cutting the cuffs off, they loaded the Fiend to a stretcher and took him to the back.  The Ambassador and Phat celebrated in the ring while the fans threw junk at them in the ring.

That is all for now.  Hopefully we will have an update on the Fiend’s condition very soon.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #491

Visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/HWFCSWAFantasy/ as well as our blog home page www.hwfcswafantasy.blogspot.com.

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We return back to our home in Phoenix, AZ just as the monsoon season starts to pick up.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says tonight will be full of action and will have the World Champion King CJ participate in a gauntlet match.  He is interrupted when the Omegatron kicks on and, speak of the devil, King CJ’s ugly mug fills the screen.  He tells us that he needs the proper time to prepare for a match of this magnitude so he will in fact NOT wrestle tonight (the fans boo) but will consider the match for a future date.  Max demands that CJ show up in person at the next show and then they will discuss it.   Max says that later in the show, he will be announcing who the first person to be nominated into the HCW Hall of Fame will be.  He then leaves the stage so the show can begin.

We start off backstage with the manager known as the Ambassador.  He says that things are not working out the way he wanted with Wilber and the Huber Clan.  He has amicably parted ways with that team and will look at who he wants to manage going forward.

We go to the ring for our first match.  Kimberly Kiccass comes out first and she takes a mic and issues a challenge to Lexy Flexx for her spot in the Women’s Top 10 lineup.  Lexy comes out and accepts the match.  This match was about as close as it could be for the entire match.  Both women were on their A-Game but neither could get a solid lead over the other.  These two put on a hell of a show.  Kimberly started to get a little desperate when she noticed that the time limit was quickly approaching.  She locked in a back mounted chin lock but Lexy somehow managed to shrug her off and then locked in the Dis-Arm-Her Fujiwara armbar.  Kimberly was near the point of exhaustion but after failing to reach the ropes, she tapped out just seconds before the match ended.  Lexy gets the win and retains her spot in a very hard fought match.  (19:58).  Both women get a standing ovation from the crowd as they leave.

Cutting to backstage again, the Ambassador meets up with another manager in Master Bull and the two of them agree to a closed-door meeting to have a discussion.

Next on the card, ‘Red Hot’ Lucas Johnston comes out to a pretty decent pop.   He says he’s not going to just call people out but says he will take on anyone from the back.  He only has to wait a few seconds until Baron von Blood comes out with his manager Ant Graham.  The Baron says he will accept the match and heads to the ring.  Lucas starts off by hitting the Baron with a flying dropkick that stunned him.  After that, Lucas struggled against the constant interference from Ant Graham.  If only he had a manager of his own.  Baron went for numerous pin attempts but Lucas just kept kicking out.  After the last time Ant interfered, music hit and out comes the Ambassador.  What is he doing here?  He motions to Lucas and speaks to him.  The two shake hands and it looks like Lucas has himself a manager.  The Ambassador then sneaks around and hits Ant Graham knocking him down.  He then tripped the Baron and got a stern warning from the ref.  Lucas then nailed the Baron once again with the flying dropkick and landed right on top of him.  He hooks the leg and gets the 1-2-3.  Lucas Johnston is victorious and the crowd seems to approve.  (18 min).  The Ambassador takes the mic and introduces himself as Lucas’ new manager and has come to terms with and acquired the contract for the Fiend.   The Ambassador says that his other newest protégé will also be in action tonight.  Both men then leave the ring.

Back in Max’s office, Southern Belle shows up.  Max asks her if she’s decided what she wants to do.  Belle says she wants one final shot to prove to herself and her fans that she hasn’t lost a step.  She says she will win tonight or her in-ring career will be over.  “One last thing…” is all we hear before the door to Max’s office is closed on the cameraman.

We head back to the ring where Ant Graham is with Ivan Dragovich.  Graham is still fuming about the attack on him by the Ambassador and says the 5th Column will deal with him when the time is right.  For now, Ant says that Ivan NEEDS to be back in the top 10 for the TV title and Ivan issues a challenge to Handsome Hernandez.  Max comes out and says the match is sanctioned but one of these two men will be out of the top 10 if they lose.  The current TV champion the Crocodile Hunter comes out and goes to sit at ringside to scout the match.  Handsome Hernandez comes out and he makes his way to the ring.  Ivan was definitely the more aggressive in this match and with the guidance (aka cheating) from Ant Graham, Ivan nearly takes Hernandez’s head off with a spinning heel kick.  He hooked the tights and got the 1-2-3.  Ivan is back in the top 10 and Hernandez is out.  Ivan immediately turns to the Crocodile Hunter and issues him a challenge for the TV title.  Croc accepts. (13 min)

Backstage, roving reporter Clarkus Kentus is conduction an exclusive interview with the Savior.  Clarkus asks why the Savior attacked and savagely beat down his former partner.  The Savior says that Drew abandoned their team when they were supposed to be going for tag titles.  Instead, he chose the life of a singles wrestler which didn’t sit well with the Savior.  He says it is time to ‘save’ Drew from himself.

Our next match will be 6 man action.  The Hubers (Ferb, Junior and Butch) come out first.  Tonight, they are taking on the Snake Pit (Leiton, Tobias and Niven Snake).  The time limit on this match was pushed out to 30 minutes.  The Hubers looked really lost without a manager and the Snake Pit took advantage of that.  The Snake Pit controlled the match and spent time beating on each member of the clan.  Finally, Tobias hit Junior with a Hook and Ladder Facebuster.  Junior’s family were so beat down they were unable to make the save.  Tobias gets the win for the Pit and they move up in the 6 man tag team rankings.  (24 min)

Larry Morton is backstage and he comments on the attack that the Wraith unleashed on the Stache.  After the beatdown he took, the Stache is expected to be out a few weeks.  Just as he tries to continue, the Stache shows up and gets a pop from the crowd.  The Stache says he took his “Cena serum” (whatever John Cena does to come back fast from injury) and just like that, he’s healed and once again ready for action.  Stache knows the Wraith is not here today because he is hiding at home.  The Stache says when the Wraith decides to “grow a pair”, the Stache will be right here waiting for him.

We head back to the ring and the Axe comes out and calls out Smasher #2 to challenge him for his spot.  Max comes back out and says that the World title top 10 is overflowing with 11 qualified challengers so this match will see one of these two men out of the top 10.  Axe waits patiently in the ring and then ½ of the World Tag Team Champions Smasher #2 with MJ comes out.  Smasher #2 charges the ring and the match begins. MJ was all over this match and he did everything he could to ensure his guy would come out on top. Because of the interference, the Axe was at a disadvantage for the majority of the match.  Smasher #2 clearly was on the way to victory until MJ thought he just HAD to get involved AGAIN.  The Axe just got hurled into the corner and MJ went to go hit him but the ref somehow got in the way and MJ blasted the ref.  The ref immediately disqualified Smasher #2 for outside interference and awarded the match and the spot in the lineup to the Axe.  MJ tried to complain but the ref left.  MJ and Smasher #2 left the ring in a huff while the Axe celebrated his win with the fans.  (17 min)

US Champion Superstar Chic Monroe questions why he has to wrestle tonight against some nobody.  When told he really doesn’t have a choice in the matter, he relents but says that just to prove a point, he’s going to kick this schmuck’s ass tonight.

The Fiend makes his way to the ring accompanied by his new manager the Ambassador.  The Fiend gets a decent reaction from the crowd.  Chic comes out next and those cheers immediately turned to booing and hissing from the audience.  Chic immediately went on the offensive but tonight looked to be the Fiend’s night.  The camera cuts to the Ambassador who is holding something in his hand – papers by the look of it.  All of a sudden, the Ambassador gets on the ring apron and SLUGS the ref.  The ref immediately disqualified the Fiend.  The Fiend questioned what the Ambassador thought he was doing when he looked to have one of the best matches of his career.  The Ambassador says that he OWNS the Fiend lock, stock and barrel (flaunts the contract in the Fiend’s face) but says he really never had any intention of pushing the Fiend; he only wanted to bury him.  The Fiend is perplexed and then all of a sudden, Phat Sol hits the ring and attacks the Fiend beating him down.  WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE???  Phat drops the Fiend with the Phat’s Enough and he and the Ambassador stand over the Fiend.   We will need to get to the bottom of this.  (5 ½ min for the match; 10 for the segment)

GM Max is back in his office and he says that tonight, he is honored to name the first member to be inducted into the HCW Hall of Fame and that is none other than…The Original Big Daddy Donnie B.  He says that every week, he will announce the remaining 3 members to be inducted and once they have the information, they will let the fans know who will be inducting them.

It is time for our MAIN EVENT.  First, Taylor Bella makes her way to the ring to a pop from the fans.  Next, Southern Belle comes out to a mixed reaction.  Taylor was in control of the first third of the match but then Belle battled back and took over with both of them trading the lead in the final few minutes.  The match was nearing the time limit and Taylor had been slipping so with just seconds left in the match, she hopped out of the ring and in the middle of being counted out, the bell rang bringing this one to an end.  Max came back out and said that since Belle chose to put her career on the line here, the match was not ending this way.  He ordered the match to be restarted and given 10 more minutes to bring this one to a conclusion.   Belle then opened up a can of whoop ass and dominated Taylor and brought this one to an end 5 minutes later after hitting Taylor with a flying body press.  Southern Belle gets the win but then asks for the mic.  She says she’s given her heart and soul to wrestling these last couple of years but like others before her who did not know when to hang up the boots, she knows the time is now for her.  The fans chant “No” and “Please Stay”.  She thanks the fans for supporting her but she has to announce her in-ring retirement.  She promises this is not the last we’ll see of her but for now, she has to take time for “me”.  With a tearful farewell, Belle heads up the ramp and waves once before disappearing behind the curtain for what could be the last time.  (25 min)

That’s all we have for now.  Stay tuned for more action.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #490

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We are still trying to stay out of the heat for now so we are still coming to you from cozy New Mexico (it may be warm but it’s not AZ hot).  We did go back through the footage of the last show (of the masked man who attacked Drew, the CLM) but when it looked like he was going to unmask, he changed his mind and left the ring.

GM Max McGillicutty comes out first to kick off the show and says he has an announcement he wants to make.  “It will be my honor and privilege to announce that the evening before the ‘Night of Champions’ PPV, HCW will hold their first ever Class of 2016 Hall of Fame.”  The fans pop.  Max continues “Over the next 4 weeks, we will announce who those people will be.  It will be a blast.”  The fans pop again and Max leaves the stage so the show can begin.

The show starts off with a tag team match.  First, Butch and Junior Huber make their way to the ring as the banjo plays over the loudspeakers.  The music is cut off as The Savior and Drew, the Canadian Love Machine make their way out.  Drew has a mic in hand “I just want to say before we get this show underway that the masked guy who attacked me costing me the US title is no better than a coward.  He will be dealt with all in good time.”  He and the Savior head to the ring.  The Savior starts off against Butch.  The Huber boys were accompanied by the Ambassador but he was a non-factor in the match.  Both teams fought tooth and nail.  The Canadians held the lead for the first half of the match but after the Savior got knocked off the top rope and he fell to the floor, things changed.  The Hubers then picked up the pace and beat down on the Savior until Drew was able to make a hot tag.  The Savior, beaten and bruised, fell out of the ring.  Drew began to clean house but just as he was making headway, the bell rang bringing this one to a time limit draw.  The Hubers got out of the ring, threw a hood over the Savior’s head and dragged him to the back.  All of a sudden, before Drew could react, the masked man hit the ring again and beat down on Drew.  Drew was ready this time and fought back.  He chased the masked man out of the ring and the unknown assailant took off through the crowd.  (20 min)

The Stache is in the back and says tonight, El Chango is finished and the Desperado name comes back to him.  Once he is done, the Wraith is on his shit list and will go the way of the Dodo…extinct.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  First, ‘The Gold Standard’ Bruce Biltmore & the Hollywood Star make their way to the ring.  They call out Handsome Hernandez and Wendell Hammerschmidt and challenge them to a rematch.  Wendell and Hernandez come out and accept.  The Hollywood Star goes to town on Wendell and Hernandez can’t believe what they are seeing.  Wendell makes the tag but Hernandez gets the same treatment.  Wendell sneaks around to the other side of the ring and nails Bruce with a steel chair shot.  Hernandez then throws Star out of the ring.  Wendell intercepts him and viciously bodyslam him on the chair (out of sight from the ref).  The ref does one of the slowest counts in the history of wrestling.  Finally, he gets to 10 and awards the match to Hernandez and Wendell via countout.  By this time, Bruce had recovered and grabbed the chair and chased Hernandez and Wendell to the back while suits from the back tended to the Hollywood Star.  (4 ½ min)

Backstage, The Axe has a one on one interview with Larry Morton.  Axe says he’s overcome the shock of losing the World title and now the cobwebs are gone. He says he will expect a rematch and if he has his way, it will be sooner rather than later.

GM Max comes back out and introduces the participants for our next match:  the New Orleans Brawl.  Max introduces first Baron von Blood.  He heads to the ring first.  Next, ‘the Ragin Cajun’ Rad Gumbo comes out next and surprisingly get a big pop.  Max then calls out the 3rd competitor Mr. Wrestling #5.  Max asks 5 what is on the line here.  MW5 states he will put his world title shot on the line but if he wins, both Gumbo and the Baron lose their shots at the hardcore title.  MW5 heads down to the ring.  Because the last match was so short, Max makes this one a 30 minute time limit match. The match begins with Mr. Wrestling 5 backdropping the Baron into the bleachers.  Baron then takes a fan’s chair and jams it into the ribs of MW5.  Gumbo then pulls MW5 into the ring and locks in the Onion Lock.  MW5 immediately taps out!  40 seconds!  Rad Gumbo moves over to the World title line up and MW5 moves to the hardcore lineup.  Max comes out and says that he can’t believe this ended so soon.  Max then makes another match right here and now but no spots or anything will be on the line.  The next fall didn’t go much longer.   Gumbo saw that he had nothing at stake so he sat out almost the entire match.  MW5 and the Baron slugged it out.  The last thing Gumbo did before walking off was to pick up a chair and nail Baron with it.  MW5 then locked in a bearhug and the Baron tapped out.  (4:40).  Gumbo smirked at Mr. Wrestling 5 as he made his way up the ramp.

Backstage, El Chango is with Leon Teremoto and Larry Morton.  El Chango tells Morton and the fans that HE was the one who came up with the Desperado name, not the Stache.  Stache is delusional if he thinks he is taking the name that he and Leon own.  El Chango says tonight is the final time he and the Stache will be in the same ring and tonight will go down as a victory for the one true team known as the Desperados.

There is commotion backstage as we see the Hubers dragging someone (we presume it still is the Savior as he still has his hood on) towards the outside.  The Hubers are then joined by Ferb Huber and Wilber Townsend. Wilber states that the Savior says he was here to “save” the masses but has done nothing but fail miserably.  Wilber says that tonight, it will be the Savior who is set free.  They tie him to a post and then Wilber proceed to take out a whip.  Oh no, what is he going to do with that???  Wilber then proceed to whip the tar out of the Savior who screams in agony.  Wilber keep laying on the whipping.  MY GOD…someone needs to get out there and help him!!!!  Wilber continues to whip him down until Drew the Canadian Love Machine shows up with a chair and starts to take the Huber clan out but eventually the numbers overwhelm him and he too falls victim.  Wilber tells Butch and Ferb to hold Drew down.  He then begins to whip Drew!  He only gets in one lick because the suits and the police arrive and break it up and Wilber and his clan take off.  One of the suits goes over and pulls the hood off but...hang on…that’s not the Savior…that looks like one of our camera men…and wait again…he doesn’t actually have a single mark on him!  What the hell is going on???  All of a sudden, the masked man runs over and attacks Drew (who really did get hit with the whip) and then he drops him with a vicious powerslam.  The masked man then stands over Drew and removes his mask.  HOLY CRAP!  IT’S THE SAVIOR!!!  What the HELL is he doing?  He stands over Drew as the segment comes to an end.

We go back to the ring for our next match which will be to determine who will become the true #1 contender for the World title held by King CJ.  Sonic Blade comes out first to a good pop from the crowd.  Next, Outback Oscar comes out and he too gets a good pop.  Before the match could begin, new music hits and the Axe makes his way out to the ring.  Axe gets a mic and says that he thinks both Sonic Blade and Oscar are great competitors, HE is the real #1 contender after having his belt stolen by King CJ.  Axe says he should be in this match and that it should be a triple threat match.  The World Champion King CJ sneaks down and grabs a chair while the conversation is happening in the ring.  CJ then jumps in and drops all 3 men with the chair.  He then climbs the turnbuckle and holds the chair in one hand and his belt in the other.

“HOLD ON JUST A MINUTE” sounds as GM Max McGillicutty makes his way out.  Max continues on the mic.  “King CJ, you come out here show after show bitching about how the owners and I are holding you back.  In fact, it’s been the opposite.  We’ve given you all the leeway we could do and all you’ve done is just lay the insults down one after the other.  You complain about being ‘held down and stacking the deck against you’?  Guess what?  You haven’t seen anything yet buster.  Try this one on for size.  King CJ will be put into a GUANTLET match where he will have to fight the Axe (pop), Outback Oscar (pop) and Sonic Blade (bigger pop) ALL IN THE SAME NIGHT.  If you can make it through the gauntlet without getting pinned or tapping out, then you will NOT have to defend your title until the PPV next month.  However, if just one person pins you or gets you to tap out, THAT is who you will have to defend the title against.  Have fun JACKASS!”  CJ throws a fit in the ring not realizing that his 3 future opponents have all recovered.   He turns around and sees the three of them closing in.  Oscar hits CJ with knee lifts to the midsection, Sonic hits him with an atomic drop and then the Axe drops him with the Axe.  King CJ quickly exits the ring but realizes he left his belt behind.  He begins to curse.  Axe picks up the belt and holds it high.  Oscar takes it from him and does the same.  Sonic then takes it and does the same.  The three begin to argue and Sonic drops the belt.  CJ slithers (yep like the snake he is) into the ring, takes the belt and hightails it to the back.  Sonic, Oscar and Axe eventually leave.  (15 min for the segment)

After a brief intermission, the former Ladies Champion the British Crippler comes out and demands a rematch for the title she says she was robbed of.  Max comes back out and says that actually Lady Hermann is the top contender.  Lady H comes out and goes to stand with the Crippler.  Max then calls out the new Ladies Champion the Duchess and he suggests a triple threat match right here and now for the title.  Lady H and the Crippler seem very happy with this but the Duchess is weary about it but eventually she accepts and heads to the ring.

Duchess vs Crippler vs Lady Hermann for the Ladies title is our next match on the card.  As expected, the Queens Court would double team the champ but after Lady H went for multiple pin attempts, the Crippler got fed up and the two started to have it out in the ring.  This all went on (Duchess vs Crippler then Duchess vs Lady H) for the remainder of the match.  Finally, the bell rings and brings this 3 way battle to a 20 minute limit draw.  The Duchess retains.  Lady H and the British Crippler then leave arguing all the way to the back.   El Gato Negro comes out after the match and tries to confront the Duchess but Duchess bails out of the ring.  Duchess goes to a fan at ringside and takes some peanuts.  She crushes them in her hands and then as El Gato approaches, she blows the peanut dust into El Gato’s face.  El Gato Negro immediately starts to react.  El Gato is allergic to peanuts.  As El Gato is reacting badly to the peanuts, The Duchess attacks her while she’s down and beats her down.  Medics run out immediately to help El Gato and begin to treat her for her allergy.  The Duchess laughs as she makes her way to the back and the fans boo the HELL out of her. (20 min for the match; 25 for the segment)

Backstage, The Fiend with Master Bull calls out Dr. Red Fang for continuing to attack him for no apparent reason other than Fang is a cowardly dog. He calls Fang a robot as is very mechanic in the ring and says he wants his shot at the Hardcore title.  Fang makes his way out from off-camera and once again attacks the Fiend.  Fang drops him with a Transylvania Piledriver.  Fang stands over the Fiend holding his Hardcore title as Master Bull looks on in concern.

It’s time to head back to the ring for our MAIN EVENT. The Steel Cage has been lowered. First, El Chango makes his way down (minus Leon) and enters the ring through the door.  The Stache’s music hits and he comes out to a pop.  He begins to walk down to the ring but Leon Teremoto attacks him from behind.  He then throws Stache into the cage wall multiple times.  He then pushes the Stache into the ring and closes the door.  The Stache seemed to be really at a disadvantage before the match even began. El Chango locked in a head scissors and then hurled the Stache into the cage busting him open.  He then climed to the top turnbuckle and nailed a shooting star press.  He made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Now he had to get out of the cage. He was making his way over the top when the Stache got up and stopped him.  Stache pulled El Chango down and he dropped right onto the top rope (OUCH).  The Stache, realizing this was not going to be a long match, went right for the door.  By the time he got there, the Wraith had come out and just as the Stache was exiting, the Wraith slammed the door in his face and the Stache flew back into the ring.  The door stood open.  The Wraith motioned to El Chango to exit through the door.  El Chango kept an eye on the Wraith and exited the door winning the match in just under 4 minutes.  El Chango gets to keep the rights to the name “the Desperados”.  El Chango and Leon Teremoto celebrate and then leave.  The Wraith then climbed into the ring and picked up the Stache and threw him into all 4 sides of the cage walls.  The Wraith laughed as he locked the door so that the suits couldn’t get in.  The Wraith then climbed up the cage and nailed a moonsault from the top of the cage onto the Stache below.  Stache was out.  Medics came down with a stretcher but they couldn’t get the door opened. Finally the cage was raised and the medics and suits tended to the Stache. They immediately loaded him up on the stretcher and tried to get him to the back.  The Wraith however was not going to have any of that.  While the Stache was strapped to the stretcher, the Wraith began hitting him with chair shot after chair shot and with no way to defend himself, the Stache took the beating of a lifetime.  Finally, the suits got the Wraith to leave but the damage was done.  The medics resumed taking the Stache to the back, loading him into the ambulance and take off for the hospital like a bat out of hell.

That is all we have for now.  I’m sure our GM will be addressing all these issues very soon.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #489

https://hwfcswafantasy.blogspot.com/

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Once again, the heat in Phoenix has prompted us to move to a cooler environment so for the next three shows, we will be coming to you from Albuquerque, NM.

Today’s show starts off with Queen Beckett taking on Felicia Cummings.  Her Royalness has challenged Felicia for her spot in the Ladies Top 10.  After the British Crippler lost the belt and Lady Hermann lost her chance, it’s up to the Queen to try and bring the belt back to the Queen’s Court.  As hard as she tried, Queen Beckett could not keep Felicia’s shoulders down for the three count.  The match was pretty even but after the bell rang bringing this one to a time limit draw, Queen Beckett was frustrated that no one from the Queen’s Court was in the top 10.  She had a look of determination on her face as she headed to the back to confer with the Queen’s Court.  Felicia retains her spot. (20 min draw)

Backstage, Larry Morton is with Phat Sol.  Larry asks Phat why he had all of a sudden had a change of attitude.  Larry says that Jerry Saunders called it saying that the ‘real Phat’ has finally showed his true colors.  Phat tells Larry to shut up.  Phat calls everyone a moron.  Everyone from that dufus Jerry Saunders to management to the fans – all are clueless (the fans in the audience boo him). He says that he more than proved himself in the cage and is now ready to move on to bigger and better things.  Once he sets his sights on a title, that champ better pray for a miracle because that is what will be needed for them to keep their belt.

We go back to the ring for our next match. First, two members of the Huber clan (Junior and Ferb) led to the ring by the Ambassador, make their way to the ring and they are booed.  Next, two members from the Snake family (Leiton and Tobias) make their way out.  Tobias threatens the Ambassador to say out of their business.  The threat was real enough to keep the Ambassador from doing anything.  Junior was kept in the ring most of the time and kept in the Snake’s corner to keep him from tagging out. After about 5 minutes, Junior made the tag to Ferb who, after eating a pedigree facebuster, tagged out again.  Junior comes back in only to be knocked down and eats a frog splash from Leiton.  Disoriented, Junior gets hit with an enzuiguri and falls victim to the three count.  The Snake Brothers get the win in true dominating fashion.  (7 min)

Backstage, Madame Jade and Taylor Bella are arguing about Jade’s interference costing her the match.  Jade kept on apologizing. Taylor says the two need to settle it in the ring.  Taylor walks off with Jade looking sad.

Mr. Wrestling #5 then makes his way to the ring.  He takes the mic and calls out ‘the Ragin Cajun’ Rad Gumbo.  Gumbo surprisingly comes out with no music but he is accompanied by his manager MJ.  MW5 calls Gumbo a coward for the underhanded attack after his loss.  5 states that anytime Gumbo wants another shot at him, he can have it.  Gumbo says that if MW5 wants him again in the ring, he can put his title shot on the line once again but this time, there has to be a winner.  Gumbo says he will accept the match but on the condition that it is a “New Orleans Brawl” style match.  MW5 accepts.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that the match will be made for our next show.  They are then interrupted by 5th Column member Baron Von Blood. Baron says that he and Gumbo first have some unfinished business and this nonsense with MW5 can wait.  MW5 takes offense to the Baron interrupting them.  MW5 says he has no problem working in the Baron into this match. Baron agrees.  Max, still present, updates the card for the next show.

There is backstage commotion as it looks like the Wraith has once again attacked the Stache.  After he was done and the suits who were back there broke it up, Wraith asked “Forgot about me already?  I think not.”  The Wraith then walked away.

Wilber Townsend (w/ the Ambassador) storms down to the ring and calls for Turnip to show his face.  Turnip comes out and asks if Wilber has something in his ears as he said he was not taking Wilber on but this man is.  Out comes Superquake Ferguson who shakes hands with Turnip and heads to the ring.  Turnip is all smiles and slowly follows him down.  Wilber goes right after the Superquake but ‘quake just shrugs him off. The Ambassador got involved a few times but Turnip was there to even things out.  Ferguson had great ring presence as he kept nullifying the Go To Sleep from Wilber.  Finally, the Ambassador had enough and slipped Wilber a foreign object.  He hits Ferguson once with it and nails a scoop powerslam but only gets the 1 count.  Superquake then tossed Wilber out of the ring but he was back in quickly.  Superquake hits a big foot but Wilber recovers to hit Superquake again with the foreign object and follow it up with a short arm clothesline.  Wilber made the cover and noticed the clock was counting down. The ref’s hand hit the mat three times just before the time limit ran out. Turnip was disappointed.  Wilber called Turnip into the ring but he refused.  Wilber then left the ring and Turnip ran off in fear for his life.  (19:55 match time)

In one of the rooms backstage, Master Bull is having a meeting with his team.  He states that Ravishing Raquel hasn’t won with Bull as her advisor…so what needs to happen?  He asks Raquel to think long and hard on it.  Drew says that has been very successful without Bull’s help so he opts to go solo…the Savior follows suit.  The Fiend says that he’s been doing only so-so and pledges to kick it up a few notches.  Reid says he has not had good luck in the HCW.  He says his loss to Ivan made him do a lot of rethinking.  Reid says that he is going back to the basics – to what made him ‘the Elitist’ and if that means being a jerk once again to everyone just so he can be back at the top of his game, he may have to do it.  Reid then tells Bull that his attitude and the way he manages needs to evolve also.  Master Bull says that the next time he is managing anyone, you will see a clear change in how he conducts business.  Guaranteed.

World Champion King CJ makes an appearance and heads to the ring with a mic in hand.  “Is there no one back there than can give me a challenge?”  Sonic Blade comes out.   Sonic Blade has a mic and tells King CJ that if he wants to fight someone, he is more than willing to accept the challenge.  Just before he gets to the ring, Outback Oscar comes out with his own mic.  “No offense Sonic but I am the top contender for the belt.”  King CJ then interrupts (and throwing a tantrum of sorts).  “what ...what kinda crap is this??!!!! The Franchise cannot believe this crap…we couldn’t have brought in an old legend like sid vixious, flair hell even WHogan??  Someone get me max asap…this is unbelievable you want me the face of your company to kickstart these clowns careers.... risk injury to your 1 and only true star??!!!  You should be kissing my butt not risking injury to your star entertainer for what for this…”  Sonic and Oscar look at each other and both start blasting CJ with lefts and rights until he bailed out of the ring and hightailed it to the top of the ramp.  He still has a mic. “So before you go demanding that your 1 and only true asset get un the ring and defend his title night after night against a bunch of no name no gimmick non talent having losers the king demands that each of these LARP losers face off against each other and then and only then will The Franchise risk his health or some freak injury against the winner of well…a losers match…ahahahahhaha and at that time the King, the Champion will whip the living dog shit out of the biggest loser ahahahahahahha.”  He drops the mic and leaves.  Back in the ring, Oscar looks to Sonic.  “Now that ol’ clownshoes is gone, let’s continue our conversation.  What I was going to say was I am all about equal opportunity.  What do you think…You and me…1:1 to see who should get the next shot?”  Sonic agrees.  Oscar and Sonic shake hands and then leave.

Backstage, Drew the Canadian Love Machine stated that he is getting a shot at the US title tonight.  Drew says that as well as he did with Master Bull in his corner, but now he wants to stand on his own.  He says that Chic cannot hide forever behind that belt.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  First, out comes Taylor Bella.  She is quickly followed out by Madame Jade.  Jade gets in the ring and continues to apologize for what she inadvertently did.  The bell rings and Jade, seeing no way out of this, ATTACKS Taylor.  Jade had control for the first few minutes but then Taylor kicked it into high gear.  Surprisingly, there were only two pin attempts the entire match and Taylor went for both of them. Early on, she hit a sunset flip but Jade was too close to the ropes.  Jade however used every cheat she could muster.  Both women traded blows for the entire match and before we knew it, 20 minutes were almost up.  Jade notices the time on the clock and nails a Jade Breaker but opted to try and inflict more damage.  Taylor hit the ropes and nailed a sunset split.  She hooked both legs (and a bit of the tights) and the ref (fast) counted 1…2…3.  Taylor Bella gets the win and immediately leaves the ring.  Jade is pissed off in the ring and is kicking the ropes.  She complains to the ref about the fast count but then hurls him out of the ring.  She then takes off to the back.  (19:45)

In prepping for his match next, US Champion Superstar Chic Monroe says that finally he gets to put Drew the CLM down for the three count.  Once this happens, he will never have to deal with him again.

It is time for our Main Event:  Superstar Chic Monroe vs Drew the CLM for the US title.  Drew, the Canadian Love Machine comes out first to a huge pop from the crowd.  He looks to be in great shape and is ready for action.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out next and says that there is a lot of time left so he is giving these two all the time in the world AND he is making it a no DQ match – there must be a winner by pin or submission.  Then, the US Champion Superstar Chic Monroe comes out and is holding his title high as he makes his way to the ring from the booing from the fans.  Chic starts off strong and proves why he is the champion.  Drew on the other hand, proved why he was the #1 contender.  Drew looked really good until a tumble out of the ring slowed him down.  Chic would repeatedly whip Drew into the ringside barrier hurting his back. Chic would then continue with the beatdown in the ring but Drew refused to give up.  We pick up the match at the 33 minute mark.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #488

https://hwfcswafantasy.blogspot.com/

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Tonight, we will have the Ladies title on the line as the champion the British Crippler takes on the Duchess.  Also, getting out of his comfort zone, the Elitist Reid Rothchild challenges Ivan Dragovich to a Russian Chain match.  GM Max McGillicutty states that the winner of this match will be back in the TV title hunt.  Also, the Steel Curtain and Biceps Bannerman take on the 5th Column (Karl Braun, Baron von Blood and the Iron Cross Oswald Zimmerman) with the 6 Man Tag Team Trophy on the line.  Also appearing are Southern Belle, Taylor Bella and more.  Let’s get this party started.

The pyros start to go off and we are welcomed to the start of another show...and suddenly everything stops lights go off and the Omegatron lights up....surprise surprise more crap from King CJ  "first of foremost the king would like to welcome everyone to another scrub studded event, and the only way to really kick this garbage off right is to bring the 1 and only star we have to the ring......HIT MY MUSIC!!!!" The Omegatron shuts off pyros kick back in and The Kings music kicks on......  and CJ MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING........"FINALLY THE KING…YOUR CHAMPION… IS BACK IN HIS RING"!!!!!   Finally the **KING*** has graced the Hobo Camp Wrestling with his presence!!!!! Can you dig it suckas!!!!!! Truth be told the king...the franchise...the 1 and only true super star of the HCW is live in living color...and although he may be feeling 100%, his is also 110% sure hes not wrestling tonight (dramatic pause while the crowd boos the hell out of him)....you see the FRANCHISE is not going to risk his career against a bunch of well no name no talent wanna bes just to help this lame organization make a name!!!! This was once the pinnacle of sports entertainment....the  only place to be to really challenge the best of the best...and after wrestle mania it changed to well a who's who of fan boys, and no names chumps the "owners" must have found at an off brand call center ahahahahhaha!!!! With unexciting names and even lamer gimmicks...where do these losers come up with this crap???!!! And yet some how you expect THE KING....THE FRANCHISE to come out here and save you...help 1 of your call center croneys find a name I DONT THINK SO....then you come out here with Independence Day...a ppv to showcase your new name and roster...well it shoulda been called career suicide ....you get a bunch of cactus farmers and tumble weed collectors from nowhere and you hipe and pray that some how some way they are gonna spark a fire and entertain anyone....well the hashtag is NOT IMPRESSED....well fyi during my recent recovery ive Also been scouring the country for new talent, and these are all people i think ...no i know who have a better chance of succeeding here (points to the jumbotron and pictures of sponge bob, larry the cable guy, patrick star fish, and Mr. Socko flash across) and the king laughs....and heres the real deal.... CJ is not i repeat IS NOT GOING TO defend MY TITLE UNTIL its against someone whose actually got some sort of actual experience and draw and C til hes gawdamn good and ready!!!! Franchise out!!!”  (drops the mic and flips off the crowd and rolls out of the ring disgusted)

Our first match of the evening is a spot challenge.  First, over the loudspeakers blares “Gumbo 7:30 says it’s suppa time bitch” and the Ragin Cajun Rad Gumbo comes out with his manager MJ.   Tonight, Gumbo is challenging Mr. Wrestling 5 for his spot in the World title lineup.  Next, Mr. Wrestling 5 comes out to an ok pop from the crowd.  Gumbo immediately goes on the offensive but MW5 just absorbs the shots.  MW5 takes Gumbo to the outside of the ring and rams his back into the steel post.  He pulls Gumbo back in and locks in a bearhug and Gumbo immediately taps out.  In just under 3 minutes, Mr. Wrestling 5 retains his spot.   MJ was not happy about this and levels 5 with a steel chair.  Gumbo then locks in the New Orleans Crab and does not let up until refs come from the back and break it up.  Gumbo limps to the back with MJ in tow.  I’m sure Mr. Wrestling 5 will respond to this cheap attack.  (2:45)

In the interview area, the Duchess is being interviewed.  She says she has a real chance to win the Ladies title tonight as long as El Gato Negro keeps her nose out of her business.

We go back to the ring for our next match.  First, out comes Lexy Flexx and she gets a so-so reaction.  Next, Taylor Bella comes out and she gets a 50/50 reaction from the crowd.  Taylor had issued the challenge to Lexy for her spot in the Ladies top 10.  For 10 minutes, Taylor had control of the match and was keeping Lexy at bay.  Then, Taylor’s tag team partner Madame Jade came out and made her way to ringside.  Taylor motioned she was going to throw Lexy to the ropes and wanted Jade to trip her.  Jade turned her back to the ring playing innocent.  Taylor threw Lexy to the ropes but it was reversed and Taylor went over and Jade, not seeing what had happened, tripped Taylor instead and she landed hard on her knee.  Jade turned around and was horrified to see what she just did.  Lexy then locked in a Four-Leg Cloverleaf leglock and Taylor had no choice but to tap out.  Lexy retains her spot.  Madame Jade climbed into the ring and tried to assist Taylor.   She vehemently apologized for what happened and helped Taylor to the back.  (12 min)

The Omegatron lights up…showing the 6 man Tag Champs - The Steel Curtain and their partner, Biceps Bannerman.

Buzz:  Finally, ‘Buck….we get a chance to defend our 6 man tag trophy.  Been a long time coming.  Personally, I would have preferred the team of Itchy, Scratchy and Diaper-Rashy, but since those three idiots dropped the ball we get to defend against The 5th Column.

Bannerman:  It’s says “Vee” Column Buzz…..the Vee Column.

Starbuck:  No man, we talked about the whole Roman numeral thing.  Its 5th…..

Buzz:  Anyway…..  So 5th Column…..you get the chance of a lifetime against the most dynamic tag team since the Freebirds.  The most skilled since Arn and Tully.  The most technical since The Midnight Express.  The Steel Curtain.  And, add the raw, unbridled power of our partner - Biceps Bannerman….you goosestepping idiots are in real trouble.

Bannerman:  Beatdown is coming boys….all the way from the 719….

Buzz:  So who do we have…well there’s the mouthpiece - Ant Graham.  Ant?  His name is Ant?  An ant is a bug, and bugs get stepped on.  Got that ‘mouthpiece’?    Who else….oh - Baron von Slapnutz.  Baron, you made a big mistake doing what you did.  Just because you fought a bunch of jabronis back in where ever the hell your wiener eating ass comes from, doesn’t mean crap to us.  And your buddies….what’s that goofs name…OZ?  Oz?  Wasn’t that a failed Kevin Nash gimmick?  (whisper from Starbuck) OH, his name is Oswald?  Man that sucks.  I got a better one….How about John-Jacob Jingleheimer- Gonna Get His ass whooped.  What, Ivan, that’s your name too?  Well that’s gonna be confusing…so one of you is gonna have to go with Gooseschtepping zee Assenouttahere.

(laughs from audience and from Starbuck and Bannerman)

Buzz:  So, we’re gonna do you a favor.  We’re gonna Knick-knack-paddy-whack your sauerkraut eating asses back to where you come from, and it won’t be with a bone….it’s gonna be with our boots in your asses!

Starbuck:  Word!

Bannerman:  Woo-woo-woo…..(poses for a few secs).

We go back to the ring for our next match which starts off with Southern Belle making her way out.  She gets on the mic and issues a challenge to Queen Beckett.   Beckett comes out and agrees to take the match.  Belle went toe to toe with her Royalness and looked to be in good form.  All of a sudden, Lady Hermann came down and hit Southern Belle with a chair resulting in a DQ.  Lady Hermann and Queen Beckett continued to attack until a gaggle of refs came out to break it up.  Belle seemed to be ok to walk to the back on her own but needed assistance when she got to the top of the ramp.  (5 ½ min)

GM Max McGillicutty is back in his office and comments that after 3 matches, they’ve barely scratched 30 minutes of tv time.  He says he needs to rethink the rest of the card.  He also announces the cage match between the Stache and El Chango for the 7/17 show.

We go back to the interview area and Larry Morton is with the World Champion King CJ.  Larry asks how Disneyworld was (CJ had Mickey Mouse ears attached to his crown).  CJ says outside of winning the World title and becoming King of the HCW, this was pretty good.  King CJ then cuts a promo.

“you know, I have to say that the talent in this crappy ass federation lacks something…oh I know…talent.  You see, King CJ…your World Champion…is gracing you with his presence so that means an automatic uptick in ratings…as I am the glue holding this so-called federation together, it’s  only fair that the HASHTAG be ever present so give all of your crappy-ass lives meaning.  Even though I did it once before, I feel I need to sing you a song.

I am THE champion, my friends
And I’ll keep on cheating…till the end
Because I am THE Champion; I am THE Champion
I have no time for you LOSERS because I am THE Champion…of the World….

King CJ then starts to walk away but turns around, takes the mic from Larry and then drops it and walks off.

We go back to the ring for more action.  First, out comes Travis “Dark Storm” Ryzing.  He is followed out by Billy Robbins.  The match was practically even.  Billy and Travis pulled out all the stops and just took the match to each other.  The fans were really getting into it and even started to cheer for “Dark Storm”.  Billy climbed the turnbuckle and went for a moonsault but Travis moved at the last second and Robbins crashed hard onto the mat.  Travis then picked up Billy and hit the “Dark Storm Ryzing” and made the cover to get the 3 count.  Travis gets a rare win in this 15 minute contest.

Back in Max’s office, Southern Belle comes in and says that she doesn’t feel like she’s contributing 100% and therefore making herself look bad in the process.  She asks for a leave of absence and Max, after checking to see if she was sure this is what she really wanted, granted it.  Max says she can have up to a month off to determine what she wants to do with her career.  After that time, she can return to the ring or can retire.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  Handsome Hernandez and Wendell Hammerschmidt come out to booing from the fans.  Music changes and out comes “the Gold Standard” Bruce Biltmore and the Hollywood Star.  Hernandez and Wendell attack their opponents as they hit the ring.  This was another short match that saw Hernandez and Wendell control the match until Biltmore and the Hollywood Star began a comeback.  Wendell saw the writing on the wall and brought an end to the match after introducing a chair to the head of Biltmore.  The ref disqualified Hernandez and Wendell.  The Hollywood Star tried get even but a quick double team on the Star and a double slingshot suplex ended any offense he may have had.  Hernandez and Wendell leave the ring to the booing from the fans.  (5 min for the match, 8 min total)

Ivan Dragovich is backstage with his 5th Column teammates.  Ivan says that he will break Reid Rothchild and make him humble.  Ivan says that his 5th Column teammates will destroy the “American pig-dogs” and they will take the 6 Man trophy.

The Elitist Reid Rothchild w/ Master Bull makes his way to the ring.  He gets a pop from the crowd.  He gets in the ring and the ref immediately hooks up the Russian Chain.  Ivan Dragovich w/ Ant Graham comes out next.  He is primed and ready for this match.  He gets in the ring and tries to attack Reid but Reid starts swinging the chain around and Ivan bails out of the ring.  It takes a few moments for Ivan to get back in the ring.  While this is going on, GM Max McGillicutty comes out and reminds us that the winner of this match goes back into the TV title hunt.  Once Ivan got hooked up, the two went right at it.  For the first 15 minutes of the match, Reid was beating the holy hell out of Ivan.  Reid seemed more intent on inflicting punishment (he did that in spades) than he was trying to win the match.  Unfortunately, Reid’s quest for revenge blinded him (along with the rubbing of the chain against Reid’s eyes blinding him).  Ivan then spent the next 9 minutes battling back.  Master Bull tried on a few occasions to get Reid back on track but a well-placed chair shot from Ant Graham sent Master Bull to the floor unconscious.  Ivan then hit Reid with a low blow with the chain wrapped around his fist.   He then leveled Reid with a jumping side kick.  Ivan then wrapped the chain around the throat of Reid and dragged him to all 4 corners.  Ivan finally hits the 4th corner and this one is over.  Ivan Dragovich gets the win and now is back in the title hunt.  After being released from the chain, Ivan locked Reid in the Accolade clutch and refused to let go.  Reid was dripping blood by now.  Ant finally got Ivan to let go just before the decision would have been reversed.  Ivan leaves to incessant booing from the crowd.  Reid is taken out on a stretcher.  (26 min)

Backstage, the Ladies Champion addresses the Duchess:  “Listen Sweetheart, the only reason you are getting this match right now is NOT because you deserve it but because I want to inflict as much damage as I can.  You’re not on the playground anymore Duchess so you’d better be prepared for the fight of your life.”

The ring was just finished being cleaned up and our next match starts.  First, the 5th Column (Karl Braun, Baron von Blood and Oswald Zimmerman.   The fans continued their booing and it was overwhelming.  Music hits and out comes the Steel Curtain and Biceps Bannerman.  The fans pop HUGE for these guys as they make their way to the ring.  Just as the match begain, the 5th Column immediately had both Baron von Blood and Karl Braun get injured leaving Oswald by himself.  The champs fought hard but Oswald stayed right with them until his teammates recovered.  The 5th Column managed to keep Biceps in the ring most of the match.  At the 12 minute mark, Ant started getting involved and his team started to dominate the champs.  With Ant’s help, the 5th Column began to annihilate the champs.  Ant began to verbally antagonize their foes and Karl tried for a pin but Starbuck made the save.  Braun picks up Biceps and hits an over the knee backbreaker.  He goes for the pin again but Starbuck once again makes the save.  All of a sudden, the Muscles Trio (McGuire, Thorpe and Weasley) all run down, grab chairs and each one hits Buzz, Starbuck and Biceps with the chairs.  The ref immediately disqualifies the 5th Column for the outside interference which pissed them off to no avail.  Baron von Blood, Oswald Zimmerman and Karl Braun, led by Ant Graham, went after the Trio.  Starbuck and Buzz got to their feet but Biceps, who had been kept in the match the longest, needed help.  The Steel Curtain and Biceps retain their trophy via a DQ.  (25 min)

Backstage, Clarkus Kentus meets up with Turnip Townsend.  Turnip says he no longer wants to be associated with Wilber and is dropping the Townsend name and will only go by Turnip from now on.  Clarkus asks if he will accept the challenge from Wilber.  Turnip says he is NOT accepting Wilber’s challenge as he is NOT a wrestler but “just a scrawny kid”.  Superquake Ferguson comes over and offers to take on Wilber for him.  Turnip happily accepts.

It is time for our Main Event.  First, The Duchess makes her way to the ring to a decent pop from the crowd (most likely because they dislike the champ more).  The Ladies Champ the British Crippler comes out with the rest of the Queen’s Court that includes Lady Hermann and Queen Beckett.  Her Ladyship and Royalness go sit at commentary to scout this one out.  The bell rang and the Duchess ran right at the Crippler…and bounced right off of her.  The Queen’s Court had a good laugh at that.  The Duchess ran at her again but when the Crippler went for a clothesline, the Duchess ducked, it the ropes and hit the champ with a dropkick.  The Duchess was all proud of herself.  That pissed off the champ.  The ref pulled the Champ aside and was whispering something.  He then stepped out of the ring and went to Queen Beckett who handed him (at least it looked like it) a wad of cash!  Holy Cow, is the fix in???  The Duchess nailed the Crippler again with a dropkick and caught her with a cheap shot.  The Duchess then locked in the “All Hail Her Majesty” but the Crippler wouldn’t quit.  The Duchess kept up the assault and the Crippler was just confounded.  The Crippler, after taking a lot of beating, tried to lock in a rear naked choke but the Duchess got out of it.  The Duchess then eye raked the champ and then rolled her up quickly for the (fast count) 1-2-3.  The Duchess just defeated the British Crippler to become the NEW LADIES CHAMPION!  Lady Hermann then charged the ring and tried to get her hands on the Duchess but she was too quick and the Duchess took off back up the ramp.  She stood at the top of the ramp holding her new title high while the Queen’s Court stewed in the ring.  With that, the show came to an end.
