HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #411 - lead up to Wargames

Hello fans.  Welcome back to our newsletter.  This is our final show before next weekend’s 2 day PPV – Wargames.   GM Max McGillicutty says that by the end of the night, the Wargames card will be finalized.  There will be matches taking place today that could influence the card so we are waiting till the end of the show to make that announcement. 

Our first match of the night has ‘The Elitist’ Reid Rothchild defending his title against Adam Rose from the Attitude Adjustment.  Rose tells Reid that he is taking that title and there is nothing Reid can do about it. Before the match kicks off, X-Factor member ‘the Man’ Austin Aries appears on the Omegatron and reminds Reid that title will be his.  This one went on for quite a while with Adam taking the champ to school.  Of course, Austin Aries (via satellite feed to the Omegatron) kept making snide remarks that Reid took offense to.  Reid was in jeopardy of losing this one quite a few times.  Reid would go to confront Aries (yell at the Omegatron) and on 5 occasions, almost got counted out.  He would make it back in the ring and Rose would continue the offensive.  Finally, the bell rang bringing this one to an end and ending in a time limit draw.  Reid retains his title.  After the match, Aries appears on screen once again and tells Reid to enjoy his title while it lasts as he will be taking that belt next weekend.  (30 min)

We cut to the back for a commotion taking place. Phat Sol corners EY and threatens to tear him limb from limb.  After a cheap shot, EY runs to the ring followed by Phat.  Phat chases him around the ring and EY scurries through the crowd at top speed.  Phat tells EY to get himself his tag team partner as Phat Sol and Madame Jade will take on EY and Summer Rae.

We head back to the ring for a 6 Man match for the titles.  This was supposed to be X-Factor taking on the champs but when introduced, they weren’t there.  Instead, new challengers, the A-Team (Alberto el Patron, Adrian Neville & Antonio Cesaro) head down to take on the champs the Brethren (Viktor & Konnor from the Ascension and Kane).  Viktor and Konnor walk to the ring followed by Kane who doesn’t understand why Bray Wyatt cut them loose.  Kane confronts his teammates and Viktor yells at him “Later!”    The A-team were the aggressors in this match but regardless of what they did, they could not pin the Brethren.  The bell rings bringing this to an end in yet another time limit draw but before the A-Team could complain, out comes the Shield (Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, & Seth Rollins).  The immediately attack all the people on the ring.   The Shield clear the ring and exert their dominance saying they are the only team deserving of a title shot.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says this interference gave him an idea.  The Brethren, A-Team and the Shield will get a chance to fight it out and the winning team will become the 6 Man Tag Team Champs.  (30 min for the match, 35 for the segment)

The Band (Axe and Dirk Devon) complains about not getting a title shot even though they have a great record.  X-Factor says they should be getting a 6 man shot but Aries gets Reid Rothchild at the PPV so they’ll take a shot at the tag titles.  The Enforcers say they are next in line. Prestige Inc. members King Damian Sandow and Magnus say they want to throw their names into the mix.  Max makes yet another match for the PPV.  The winner gets the next tag team title shot.

We go back to the ring for our next match.  Tag Team Champions the Steel Curtain (Buzz and Starbuck Steel) come out and say they want to be the first team to welcome our new friends from the north by giving them a match.  Max comes out and introduces the newest addition to the HWF and CSWA.  First out comes the Savior and he is followed by his tag team partner Drew, the Canadian Love Machine.  The champs started off strong but soon the challengers really began taking the match to them.  Savior kicked some serious ass in the ring all the while Drew was wooing the young ladies at ringside.  Savior called him back to the ring and he continued where the Savior left off and kept up the ass kicking.  Starbuck was on the receiving end of most of the attacks and he finally made the hot tag to Buzz Steel.  Savior and Drew double teamed Buzz and as Buzz battled back (going after the Savior who he thought was the legal man), Drew, the Canadian Love Machine executed a headstand scissors and took Buzz down.  He made the cover and got the surprise 1-2-3.  Our Canadian team get their first win but their celebration is cut short when ‘Luke Warm’ Lucas Johnston and ‘Main Event’ Buff Austin come out and question why these ‘illegal aliens’ are here taking away American jobs.  Savior answers with a dropkick sending Austin out of the ring and Drew nails Lucas with a superman punch.  The Savior and Drew get a nice pop from the crowd and then shake hands with the champs.  (18 min)  Max says that he has plans for the Savior and Drew, the CLM and will decide what to do next.

It appears that the X-Factor (AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and Austin Aries) were all locked out of the arena and couldn’t get in (I think the A-Team had something to do with this).  Aries had been doing his feed from one of the production trailers while he waited for his teammates to arrive.  Aries calms everyone down and says that he has a match at Wargames and since he won’t be available to participate in 6 man competition, AJ and Daniels should enter the tag match with the winner getting a title shot.  Aries is ok with it as he is walking out the Elitist Champion anyway.

Max remained on the stage and calls out Eric Young and Summer Rae and tells them to head to the ring.  EY comes out and he and Summer are trying to complain to Max that this match should not be happening.  Max orders him to the ring and he reluctantly heads down.  Phat Sol and Madame Jade appear behind them and chase them to the ring.  EY and Summer jump into the crowd and it takes them a few minutes to finally get in the ring.   For whatever reason, Summer Rae would not get in the ring.  That did not, however, stop Madame Jade from taking the fight to Eric Young.  Eric got lots of crap from the fans for bouncing Jade around the ring but she held her own.  Phat ends up tagging back in and beats the crap out of EY.  Summer makes a couple of saves but EY tells her to step away.  EY hits a low blow and tries for a pin but Phat kicks out.  Phat battles back and hits the Phat’s Enough.  He only gets a 2 count.  He nails a vertical suplex and ends up getting the 1-2-3.   EY motions for his teammates to come down. ‘Luke Warm’ Lucas Johnston and ‘Main Event’ Buff Austin head down and they attack Phat Sol while Summer holds Madame Jade back.  All of a sudden, the Canadian superstars the Savior and Drew the Canadian Love Machine hit the ring and chase everyone off.  Madame Jade turns the tables on Summer and she bolts too.  Max comes back out and says that Austin, EY and Lucas will take on the team of Savior, Drew and Phat Sol.    (27 min for the match; 30 for the segment)

CJ comes out with a mic and heads to the ring.  “Gaaaaaadummmmmm what up Oklahoma city!!!!!!  Feels so good to be back.....and I'm sure after a long break like this I'm sure you all expected me to come out..... talk a little crap, and call out some big name talent to once again, remind and reestablish  myself as a top contender here in this empire called the hwf/cswa.....but I'm not!!!!!  And ok I apologize, truly honestly and sincerely.....you see last time we were at work these 2 little stooges Larry...no, Mo...no..... ummmm ohh yeah curly and shemp were running their mouths using MY NAME to what…make a statement...elevate your career????  You no talent Yosemite sam/ Elmer fudd no name no talent having chumps think what.....you can call out CJ????? Are you serious...crazy....No you’re dumbasses..... I mean who comes out here with a lame looking overly waxed under-groomed harry patch on their face and claims to be a superstar???? You've no talent, no skill, no swag, no presence and a lame gimmick.....so ok I'm sorry,  I wish I could make a statement here tonight with another cswa or hwf superstar, but tonight I'm making a little different statement.....so snatch if your back there listening.....grease up that 70s bush of yours cuz I'm bringing it Ron Jeremy style to your sweet ass!!!!!”

  

The Stache comes out and stands on stage.  He has a reply of his own:

“Well well well, looks like Calamity Jane is back at it. You come to my town and act like one of us?  Top contender? Maybe the top contender to shine my boots- pssh - if he’s lucky.  Talking about the Stache’s glorious lip sweater in such a manner only makes me think that I need to start watching my drinks around this pathetic pile of horse shit. I’m afraid the Clamoring Jagoff seems to want more than a piece of my “sweet ass” in the ring. I can see how he owns the Ron Jeremy comparison. CJ is just an old, fat, hairy son of a bitch hell bent on self… well you know the rest.  You want to try your luck in the ring with this Desperado? Better get ready for my size 10 Luchese to go right up your bitch ass. And anyone who thinks that cow pile can beat the Stache can get it right along with him.

Watch out cowpie, its CJ hunting season.”

Max makes another appearance and sets up CJ vs the Stache in a no holds barred match as our main event. 

We go back to the ring for more action.  The Uso’s vs New Day members Xavier and Big E Langston w/ Kofi Kingston is next.  New Day comes out dressed like the Varsity Club and they run around and act all goofy like teenagers from a varsity football club would.  In just under 8 minutes, the Uso’s embarrass the heck out of New Day and after Jimmy hit a backbreaker on Big E, it was all over.  Kofi got in the ring trying to complain.  The Varsity Club then hit the ring and chases New Day away.  Jack Swagger said that if New Day wants to run their mouths, the Varsity Club will shut them up.  Max likes this idea and makes another match.  (8 min)

Max is meeting with the Savior and Drew, the CLM and says he was impressed by their first match. He says that it’s not far-fetched to see them hold tag team gold.  Savior and Drew smile and nod to each other.  They shake hands with Max and then leave.

Bella Trio (Nikki, Brea and Taylor) call out the two Women’s champions and Madame Jade and say that they want to kick ass at the PPV so they are challenging (Diva’s Champ) Jupiter Jane, Madame Jade and (Women’s Champ) Southern Belle to a match at the PPV.

Alexander Rusev makes his way out and starts trash talking American wrestlers.  This of course brings out the leader of the Varsity Club Kurt Angle who says he’d be willing to show Rusev how good an Amercian wrestler really is.  Big Show comes out and asks Angle to let him have this match.  Kurt thinks about it and lets Show have the match.  Big Show dominates the match.  Rusev actually tried to leave twice but Kurt Angle remained there and wouldn’t let him leave.  Big Show gets the win in 16 minutes with the Cutting Edge.  Rusev bailed and Kurt joined Big Show in the ring celebrating. 

(During the break, Rusev challenged Angle to a match at Wargames with Russian Chain rules.  Angle accepted.)

The Dust Brothers (Goldust and Stardust) are in the ring and say that they want the Dudley Boys at Wargames.  The Dudley Boys run out and they fight. The Attitude Adjustment (Adam Rose and Abyss) join in the fray and now all 6 are fighting.  The American Wolves also want to see action so they join in and all hell breaks loose.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out to put an end to this and says they all will be in a Fatal 4 way with TLC (tables, ladders and chairs) stipulations at Wargames.  He then orders them all to leave the ring.

Max remains on the stage and lets us know the lineup for Wargames.  He acknowledged X-Factor missing their match and agreed to insert them into the elimination tag match.

New Day vs the Varsity Club – elimination style

It is time for our main event.  This will be a no holds barred match between CJ and the Stache. As we’ve seen over the last few weeks, Stache really doesn’t like CJ and he can’t understand why the fans now flock to him like a moth to a bug zapper.  The Stache says he tells it like it really is and eventually, CJ will show his true colors once again and prove himself to be the ASSHOLE everyone knows him to be.  The Stache comes out first and is booed and the fans throw stuff at him.  CJ comes out next and get cheered (hell is still frozen over).  The two get in the ring and just as the bell rings, the two start throwing everything they have at each other.  CJ starts to get the upper hand and then the Stache grabs the ropes and complains to the ref that CJ is grabbing his match and then whispers that CJ grabbed his butt too.  The ref admonishes him and tells him to get back in the action.  The Stache hits a low blow and then puts the boots to CJ.  After a few minutes, CJ battles back and drops the Stache with a bulldog and a pin attempt but he only gets a 2 count.  CJ then drags Stache out of the ring and tries to whip him into the steps but Stache reverses it and CJ goes crashing into the corner steel post.  He’s busted open.  Stache lays CJ on the Spanish Announce table and then climbs to the top turnbuckle.  He then delivers a B-52 kneedrop onto CJ destroying the table.  Both men are down.  El Chango runs down and rolls Stache back in.  He then rolls CJ in.  He drags Stache over and drapes his arm over CJ.  The ref counts 1…2…KICKOUT.  HOLY CRAP.  Where did CJ find the intestinal fortitude to do this?  El Chango then starts laying the boots to CJ in hopes of wearing him down even more but then CJ does the unthinkable…he begins to HULK UP!.  That is right.  He took a page from Hulk Hogan’s handbook and started to Hulk up. El Chango would hit him and CJ would shrug it off.  After a 3^rd hit, CJ’s eyes go all wide and he points a finger at El Chango.  El Chango goes for a haymaker but it is blocked and CJ nails a standing dropkick that sends El Chango flying out of the ring.  CJ goes after the Stache, who by now has seemed to recover, but Stache drops him with a low blow.  CJ starts the whole Hulk up thing again and this time, the Stache is on the receiving end of a standing dropkick.  Stache got hit so hard that he flew into the corner, over the turnbuckle and smashed his head into the steel post.  He’s bleeding now too.  He wobbles back into the ring and just as CJ is getting ready for the guillotine choke, Stache (he was faking injury but not the blood – that’s real) hits CJ with a loaded boot (he must have had a foreign object in his boot) and then grabs a microphone cord and begins to choke CJ out with it.  CJ struggles but can’t seem to recover.  Stache lets go of the cord and then hooks the leg and gets the 1-2-3.  The Stache wins this one and stands victorious in the ring.  El Chango returns and just as they begin attacking CJ again, the Steel Curtain run out and prevent them from doing any more damage. The Desperados cautiously back away cursing the Steel Curtain.  Buzz and Starbuck look at CJ with skepticism but CJ breaks the tension by extending his hand. Buzz and Starbuck accept the gesture and they all shake hands.  The Steel Curtain then leave to allow CJ to soak in the adulation from his fans as the show comes to an end.  (19 min)

Max comes out at the very end and thanks everyone for attending and he will see us in Kalamazoo, MI for Wargames next weekend.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #410

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  GM Max McGillicutty opted to change this up for this show so instead of a Steel Cage match main eventing the show tonight, it will start everything off.   

The steel cage structure is completed and the first team comes out – The Ascension along with MJ.  They are of course booed as they make their way down.  All of a sudden, out comes Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt.  He walks down to the ring calmly and says something to Viktor and Konnor.  The nod as if agreeing to what Wyatt is saying.  Bray then leaves as the Desperados – the Stache and El Chango come out.  The stop and stare at Bray as he walks to the back and then they resume the walk to the ring.  They are booed just as bad as the Ascension were.  As soon as they enter the cage, their feud resumes.  The 4 beat the holy hell out of each other as they did in their last encounter in the street fight.  This time, no one can interfere.  The cage kept all the action inside the ring but that still didn’t deter Kane from interfering.  At one point, the ref took a bump and went down. Then the Stache climbed to the top of the cage and nailed a B-52 kneedrop.  Kane then came up from under the ring – through the ring - and chokeslammed both El Chango and the Stache.  Kane then dragged his tag team partners over and draped Konnor over El Chango and Viktor over the Stache.  He then went to revive the ref and dragged him over to make the count.  He then disappeared through the hole in the ring.  The ref counted 1…2….and both Desperados kicked out just before the 3 count.  Konnor and Viktor could not believe it and MJ was spazzing out on the outside of the ring.  This was at the 30 minute mark…oh, and by the way, this match has no time limit.  There will be a winner.  The match continued on for another 30 minutes and the Desperados seemed to get more pumped up as the match progressed.  All of a sudden, Kane was in the ring again and this time he threw a fireball in the faces of the Desperados blinding them.  They flailed for a good 5 minutes all the while taking a beating like no other from Viktor and Konnor.  Finally El Chango and Stache seemed to recover enough to take control of the match once again.  By the 60 minute mark, all 4 men were busted open and barely able to stand.  Stache then grabbed Viktor and ran him into the cage wall but then the wall collapsed with both me laying on it (they had not touched the ground but both men seemed to be out while laying on the broken cage wall).  El Chango stopped Konnor from leaving and then choked him on the ropes.  He slingshot him back into the ring and then went for the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Just then, the Stache rolled off the cage wall and dropped to the floor.  The Desperados have won this hellacious match and will go on to Wargames to meet the Tag team champs, the Steel Curtain.  (61 min).  As the cage is being raised, CJ runs in and drops the Stache with a bulldog.  He then runs out before El Chango could do anything.  CJ laughed all the way to the back.

Max was sitting in the back watching the whole match and was just stunned.  “Damn, I’ll give it to them…hell of a match.  Now THAT is how a match should go down.”

After the ring was cleaned up, we were on to our next match between the American Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) taking on the Band (the Axe and Dirk Devon).  For 13 minutes, the Band frustrated the Wolves with constant tagging and delaying the match.  As the Wolves became more frustrated, the Band would capitalize until the Wolves got the upper hand and then we’d start all over again.  However, at the 13 minute mark, the Axe (not the legal man) gets put through the announcers table.  The Wolves then double teamed Dirk and injured him.  Dirk went 5 minutes without any offense.   Axe finally recovered at made the hot tag.  He walked right into the Lungblower from Davey Richards and Richards pinned him clean in the middle of the ring.  After the match, Axe nailed both Richards and Edwards with the Axe and he helped Dirk up.  All of a sudden, the Dudley Boys came out and Axe was caught off guard.  The Dudleys asked the crowd if they thought the Band should go through another set of tables.  Axe was practically dragging a barely conscious Dirk.  Salvation came when the Dust Brothers ran down and after ramming both Bubba and Devon into the corner posts, put them both through tables.  The Dust Brothers celebrated until GM Max McGillicutty came out and said that he was making a match for Wargames and it would be an 8 man tag team match with the American Wolves vs the Band vs the Dudleys vs the Dust Brothers with TLC (tables, ladders & chairs) rules.  Stardust ran around the ring shouting “tables…tables…tables” and would then laugh hysterically.  (18 min for the match; 25 for the segment)

In the back, Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt cuts a promo:  “We are millions you know. At the drop of the hat there’s another and another and another. At the end of the day, wins and losses are meaningless. It’s not about one single battle. It’s about the entire journey.  The Ascension have a journey ahead of them and surely will be at a crossroads.  The direction they take at those crossroads determines their future.  Follow the buzzards.”

We go back to the ring where Women’s Champion Southern Belle is defending her title against Spider Violet.  This will be a best of 3 falls match.  The first fall went to Spider who, after choking Belle on the top rope, slingshot her into the ring and then rolled her up (with a handful of tights) for the 1, 2, 3.  (12 min).  The second fall went to Belle who, after blinding Spider with a vicious eye rake (fight fire with fire), she rolled her up for the pin.  (6 min)  Before the 3^rd fall could begin, Spider says that she will win the title here and now or she calls it quits.  There are only 12 minutes left on the clock.  The two beat the heck out of each other with the champ taking the lead (I guess Spider was never the same after that eye rake).  Belle went for numerous pin attempts but Spider wouldn’t stay down.  Finally, the clock is ticking down in the final minute of the match.  Violet stuns Belle with a diving knee drop but Belle surprises everyone after she catches Spider unaware with a victory roll and the 1-2-3 just before the clock hit 0.  Southern Belle retains her title and Spider Violet is now out of a job.  Belle extended her hand but Violet snubbed her and walked away (30 min total).

Back in Max’s office, the Enforcers (Ryback, Mark Henry and Samoa Joe) want their 6 man title shot tonight vs the Brethren.  Max says no.  Prestige Inc. hear what is going on and say they want a shot.  Max says no again.  The A-Team (Antonio Cesaro, Adrian Neville, Alberto el Patron) interrupt saying they should get the next shot.  Max says that these 4 teams will fight it out at Wargames and the last team standing will win the 6 man titles.  The X-Factor (Austin Aries, AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels) walk by and question why they are not in this match.  They are, in fact, the #1 contenders and question the Enforcer’s, Prestige’s and A-Team’s claim to this match.  Aries says that they want to cash in their #1 spot tonight but Max says that Kane isn’t here so they are not able to defend the titles and the Ascension just had a hellacious match against the Desperados so they were in no shape to wrestle again.  AJ says fine but next show, they want that match.  Either they will be proven unworthy or will show up to Wargames as the champs.

We go back to the ring for the first of our two World title matches.  Big Show vs Samoa Joe for the CSWA World title is next.  Big Show comes out first and then is followed by the champ.  Show says he will take that belt, represent the CSWA and will then drop Brock Lesnar like a bad habit and take his title too.  Just before the match could begin, HWF World Champion Brock Lesnar comes out and sits at commentary.  Big Show beat the crap out of Samoa Joe.  When the Enforcers saw Joe being mercilessly destroyed, they ran down to the ring to try to cause a distraction but the ref caught on early and then sent them to the back.  While this was going on (Joe was out in the ring from being hit by a knockout punch), Big Show got out of the ring and right into Brock Lesnar’s face.  Show pie-faced Lesnar who kicked Show in the gut and began pummeling him.  He got Big Show up and nailed an F-5 on the floor.   Brock noticed that his clothes got messed up so he left.  After the Enforcers were sent to the back and Lesnar had left, Joe slowly got to his feet.  The ref saw Big Show on the outside and began to count.  He reached 10 and then counted Big Show down and out.  Samoa Joe retains his title via CO decision. (22 ½ min)

Bray Wyatt tells the Ascension that even though they went to hell in their match against the Desperados, they did not live up to their potential and tells them that the Brethren are no longer associated with Bray.  Bray says he will go out and find new family members who will live up to their potential.

It is time for the Main event and our second World title match with HWF World Champion Brock Lesnar defending his title against Dolph Ziggler.  Dolph put up a pretty good fight but in the end was no real match for the Beast Incarnate.  Lesnar toyed with Ziggler for a few minutes and after lulling him into a false sense of accomplishment, nailed an F-5 out of nowhere.  Brock made the power pin and got the win.  Just then, Lesnar’s ‘advocate’ Paul Heyman comes out.  Heyman says that Lesnar took on a real competitor just now and destroyed him.  Brock will do this to Samoa Joe and take the CSWA title and then will put it all on the line against Bray and become the Triple Crown Winnner.  Heyman starts off again singing “Hail, hail Brock Lesssssssssnar…land of the Beast In…car…nate.”  Brock and Paul then left to bring the show to an end.

GM Max McGillicutty came out to thank everyone for attending and said that if the fans want a special treat, he will authorize a Dark Match (a match that is not televised and only takes place for the fans in attendance). 

Max says that EY needs to man up so he is putting him in a match against Phat Sol.  Phat came out to a good pop.  EY was booed but he didn’t seem to care.  EY refused to get in the ring when Phat Sol would walk to the ropes.  EY kept telling the ref to push Sol away.  Finally, after a few minutes of this, Eric finally got in the ring.  EY hit a low blow early on and that set the pace for this match.  When Phat started to make his comeback, EY motioned for someone in the back to come out. That someone is Summer Rae.  Summer came down and while EY was distracting the ref, Summer jumped on Phat Sol’s back and tried to claw his face with her nails.  This brought out Phat’s niece Madame Jade who chased Summer from the ring and fought with her at ringside.  Summer bitch slapped Jade and for a moment, Phat was distracted.  EY then hit a superkick and with his feet on the ropes for leverage, he got the 1-2-3.  EY left right away as Phat was pissed off.  Phat Sol said that he and Madame Jade would team up and Summer could join with EY in getting their asses beat.  EY and Summer headed for the back laughing all the way.  Phat Sol and Madame Jade talked with fans at ringside before calling it a night.  (19 min)

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.   With the hiatus we were on, everyone was able to get their batteries recharged and we are rearing to go as we continue on the road to Wargames. 

The show begins with the Dudley Boys making their way out.  They say how great it is to be back in the CSWA and HWF.  They are interrupted by Stardust who says that while Bubba and Devon were out goofing around on the kiddie playground, he was here working his ass off.   He has had numerous partners in the past but only truly gelled with one.  Stardust introduces his tag team partner …Goldust.  The Dust Brothers are back together and they ATTACK the Dudleys.  The attack is short lived as Bubba and Devon dispatched the brothers pretty quick.  The Dudley’s invited them back in the ring but the Dust Brothers said only on their terms; not the Dudley’s.

As we continue with the semifinals to crown ourselves a new Intercontinental Champion, our first match of the night is CJ taking on Desperados member El Chango.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says he wants to up the ante per se and makes this first match a no DQ match.  This one was very evenly matched right up until the end.  The Stache got involved attacking and beating down CJ but the resilient one fought back and held his own.  The Ascension then came out and they immediately attacked the Stache.  El Chango went out to help fight them off and almost got counted out.  El Chango crawled back in just in the nick of time only to get caught in a guillotine choke from CJ.  El Chango had nowhere to go and eventually tapped out.  CJ moves on to the finals. (18 min)

We cut to a commotion in the back where The Ascension brawl with the Tag Team Champs the Steel Curtain but it is broken up quickly.

We go back to the ring for our next semifinals match between Steel Curtain (and one half of the tag team champions) Starbuck Steel and Sonic Blade.  The two competitors shook hands and then went right at it.  Both men looked really good and saw each hit their specialty moves and visit the outside of the ring multiple times.  Blade went for a lot of pin attempts but Starbuck wouldn’t stay down.  Blade then hit an atomic drop and then Starbuck turned around and got hit by the Alhambra attack (tackle).  Sonic Blade made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  He will be going on to the finals against CJ to see who will become the new Intercontinental Champion.  Both men shook hands at the end of the match.  (16 min)

In the back, El Chango and the Stache want the Ascension’s asses in the ring tonight.  They will pay for costing El Chango a chance for singles glory.  GM Max McGillicutty says he already had plans for this match and it will take place later in the show.

Back to the ring for some 6 man tag team action with Robbie E, Rockstar Spud and EC3 taking on the A-Team (Alberto El Patron, Adrian Neville & Antonio Cesaro).  Cesaro came out wearing a mask, not sure why.  This match will be for ranking placement.  It was apparent that the A-Team had nothing to fear on this one and they totally owned their opponents.  About 5 minutes into the match, Cesaro attacks Alberto.  Alberto then yanks off the mask and it’s…Austin Aries!!!  Aries laughs and takes off through the crowd.  The real Antonio Cesaro makes his way out and the match is allowed to continue.  EC3 and team then began triple teaming the A-team on multiple occasions and with Aries popping up in the crowd from time to time, kept the A-team off their game.  Alberto really got fed up with Aries and didn’t see Rockstar Spud sneak up behind him and nailed a flying dropkick.  He nailed Alberto in the back and Alberto went flying and smashed his head on the ring post and he fell back in the ring.  Spud made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Spud, EC3 and Robbie E get the win and move up in the rankings.  (28 min)

‘Luke Warm’ Lucas Johnston storms out and complains about not being used.  Max comes out and says that Lucas needs to find himself a partner because, at Wargames, he and whomever will agree to partner up with him will meet our new team from the Great White North.  Johnston asks for more details but Max tells him he’ll have to wait.

Tonight will see a lot of titles defended and we start those off with Buff Austin vs Tyler Breeze for the X-Division title.  ‘Main Event’ Buff Austin comes out and of course, complains about not being in the main event.  Breeze makes his way out to a pop from the crowd.  This one was nothing short of a complete beatdown with Austin totally getting owned.  In this match, Buff was totally out wrestled and when he tried to brawl, he was pretty much embarrassed.  Finally, Breeze got tired of toying with Austin and after catching Austin with a superkick, he made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Tyler Breeze retains his title.  (19 min)

The Miz cuts a promo and says that John Cena is not worthy of a title defense but he will cater to the masses and grant Cena his request.  He tells John that he only gets one shot and he’d better make it work or he’s done.

John Cena makes his way to the ring to the booing from the fans.  I guess that means the Miz will be the one cheered (although he’s really not much better).  Miz comes out flaunting the US title.  Cena immediately goes after Miz but after about 2 minutes, the champ kicked things up a notch much to the delight of the fans.  Miz dominated Cena and after 13 minutes, hits a legsweep facebuster and with a hook of the tights, gets the 1-2-3.  Miz successfully retains his title.  Cena leaves in disgust.

Jay Lethal is in the back and he is dressed in the attire paying homage to his idol Macho Man Randy Savage.  Lethal says that it will be an honor to once again wear gold and representing the North American continent, he promises to do everyone proud. 

It is time for our street fight rules tag team match between the Desperados (El Chango & the Stache) taking on the Ascension (Viktor and Konnor).  No time is wasted as these 4 mean start beating the holy hell out of each other.  They used whatever they could find at ringside including chairs, tables, kendo sticks and the like.  This was a sloberknocker like no other and you could see the hatred these two teams have for each other.  At one point, Kane runs down and joins his teammates in the beatdown of the Desperados.  Just when we thought they were done for, the Tag Team Champions the Steel Curtain run down.  They immediately eliminated Kane and then fought the Ascension.  Starbuck and Buzz then threw Viktor and Konnor out of the ring.  Stache and El Chango didn’t seem happy that the Steel Curtain came down and they started shoving the champs.  Buzz and Starbuck said that they were just trying to help and Stache said they didn’t need their help.  Buzz put his hand on El Chango’s shoulder and got suckerpunched.  Stache then started brawling with Starbuck.  The Ascension (minus Kane) then got back in the ring and all 6 men started trading blows.  The ref decided he’d lost control of this match and called it a double disqualification.  That only made the Desperados that much more pissed off.  The Ascension got tossed out first and then the Desperados leaving the champs in the ring.  GM Max McGillicutty comes back out and says he’d hope that this thing between the Ascension and Desperados would have been rectified tonight but alas, no go.  Max says that they must have a team to take on the Steel Curtain at Wargames so one more match between the Ascension and the Desperados will take place and to avoid any outside interference, it will be in the confines of a steel cage.  (25 min)

It is time for our main event.  Kenta Kobayashi defends the North American title against ‘Black Machismo’ Jay Lethal.  Lethal comes out first to ‘Pomp and Circumstance’ strutting and strolling like Randy Savage used to.   Kenta comes out next and receives a pop also.  Lethal looks to the heavens and dedicates this one to Savage.  For the first 3 minutes, Kenta controlled the pace but after that, Lethal seemed to channel the spirit of Savage and then took total control of the match.  Kenta couldn’t keep up with Jay as he bounced all over the ring.  Kenta goes for the Kenta Rush but it is reversed and Lethal drops him with a missile drop kick from the top rope.  Lethal then climbs the turnbuckle again and drops the Macho Elbow.  The place exploded when he leapt and landed on Kenta.  Jay hooked the leg and the ref counted 1…2…3.  The place explodes again as Lethal is handed the North American title.   A weary Kenta stumbles over and he and Lethal shake hands and hug.  Kenta then leaves and Lethal climbs each of the corner turnbuckles to celebrate with the fans and gets the crowd to do a Macho Man chant.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #408

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  It was nice for everyone to get time off and that just so happened to coincide with forensic investigator Gardinia Blue continuing her investigation.  After she completed her task, she reported back to the owners that all anomalies have been sorted out; the books are up to date and free of any other tampering (reminder that former GM’s Master Bull and Hulk Hogan were removed from their posts for tampering with the financials). 

Tonight’s show begins with our 8 finalists squaring off for a chance to become the new Intercontinental Champion.  Tonight will be round one.  The first of those matches is now.

CJ comes out first and surprisingly gets a pop.  His opponent is the Varsity Club’s Frankie Kazarian.  This one on paper looks to be a really good match and to this writer’s surprise, this one wasn’t half bad but we didn’t get resolution as it went to a 20 minute time limit draw.  GM Max McGillicutty came out and said that he doesn’t want this tournament starting off like that and wants to see a winner so he requests the match be restarted.  Just as the ref rings the bell to restart the match, in from the crowd comes the Desperados member the Stache.  Stache hits the ring and attacks CJ resulting in a disqualification.  Stache beats down on CJ and nails a tombstone piledriver.  Stache is booed and he looks confused.  He can’t understand why he’s being booed.  All of a sudden, the fans begin throwing packages of Fruit Roll-Ups at him and he gets pissed off and leaves.  CJ gets helped up and the fans cheer him.  Hell has officially frozen over. (20 ½ min)

New news has surfaced that two new wrestlers from the Great White North will be joining the HWF and CSWA.  They are expected to debut right before or after Wargames depending on them finalizing their existing commitments.

We go back to the ring for our second match which is Steel Curtain member and one half of the tag team champions Starbuck Steel taking on Prestige Inc. member Magnus.   All I have to say here is that Magnus is a much better singles wrestler than Starbuck is.  Magnus totally controlled the entire match.  But regardless of what he threw at Starbuck, Steel just wouldn’t stay down.  As we passed the 19^th minute of the match, Magnus was getting extremely frustrated so he attempted a pretty daring move from the top rope. As Starbuck was getting to his feet, he grabbed the top rope which caused Magnus to fall and land hard on the floor.  Magnus looks hurt.  The ref counted and as soon as he got to 10, he counted Magnus out and awarded the match to Starbuck Steel via countout. (19 ½ min)

In the interview area, John Cena issues a challenge to Ryback for his spot in the US title hunt.  Ryback makes his way over and accepts.

We go back to the ring for our third qualifying match:  Desperado member El Chango (w/ the Stache) vs Sami Zayn.  Sami held his own but El Chango was on fire.  This one came dangerously close to ending in a time limit draw but El Chango managed to hit the Diamond Dust in the last few seconds of the match to secure the win.  He and the Stache were booed as they left the ring.  (19 ½ min)

Big Show talks about how he is next in line for a World title shot against Samoa Joe.  Bobby Lashley walks over and says he wants to challenge Show for his spot tonight.  That match will happen.

John Cena comes out next for his match against Ryback.  If John can pull off a win here, he moves up in the rankings and gets a shot at the Miz and the US title.  For 12 minutes, Ryback and John were practically trading move for move.  Neither could get a leg up over the other.  As Ryback was setting up for a gore, he charged but Cena caught him and nailed the F-U.  He went for the pin but Ryback kicked out at two.  Ryback would throw John out of the ring to catch his breath.   John would hit a suplex and Ryback would hit a powerslam.  John then hit a standing suplex and followed it up with the You Can’t See Me and a Five knuckle Shuffle.  John hooked the leg and got the 1-2-3.  John Cena moves up in the rankings.  John immediately calls out the Miz and challenges him next show for the US title. (22 min)

Madame Jade meets up with Diva’s champion Jupiter Jane and asks if Jane is ever going to give her that title shot.  Jane tries to make excuses but Madame Jade says the women HAVE to show they can perform just as well as the men do and they NEED to cap tonight’s show with a main event for the Diva’s title.  Jane sees her point and accepts the match. 

The last of our first round matches is next with Bobby Roode taking on Sonic Blade.  As expected, Roode controlled this one and kept Sonic Blade on the defensive most of the match.   Roode kept kicking and slapping Blade around and it really wasn’t cool.  Blade’s partner the Nigerian Wraith came out (some say he and Blade look alike).  After Sonic Blade got tossed out of the ring, the Wraith snuck in (he was dressed identically) and took the fight to Roode.  After the Wraith got thrown out of the ring, Blade snuck back in.  A refreshed Blade then threw Bobby out of the ring.  Roode then disappeared under the ring.  The ref, thinking Bobby left the match, counted him out and awarded the match to Sonic Blade.  Wraith, (by this time, he had hopped the railing and was sitting at ringside) climbed back over and celebrated with his tag team partner and they left to the cheering of the fans.  Bobby ended up making his way out from under the ring and tried to complain but it did no good. (14 ½ min)

Taylor Bella approaches Madame Jade and says that she has faith she can beat Jupiter Jane.  She leaves with no other comments.

Next match on the card is Bobby Lashley vs Big Show for Show’s spot in line for the CSWA World title.  Just before the match could begin, the champ Samoa Joe comes out and sits at ringside to scout this one.  Big Show and Lashley immediately began pounding the hell out of each other.  Show then did something that you had to see to believe.  He HURLED Lashley over the top rope and right into the front row (HOLY SHIT - fortunately there was no one around or they would have been squashed).  Bobby gets counted out (you would too after that tremendous feat of strength).  Big Show then looks over at Joe and points to the CSWA title and Show says that belt will be his.  Joe returns the stare and Big Show smirks and leaves.  (3 min for the match; 5 for the segment)

GM Max McGillicutty is interviewed and he says the Desperados (understandably) are becoming disruptive.  Max says that at the next show, the Desperados vs the Ascension will headline the show in a street fight.  The winning team will go on to meet the Steel Curtain at the Wargames PPV.

It is time for our main event.  Tag team partners take the fight to each other in a match for the Diva’s title.  The challenger Madam Jade comes out first.  She is cheered and high fives fans at ringside.  Next, the Diva’s Champion Jupiter Jane comes out and she too is cheered.  The two tag team partners shake hands and the match begins.   Madame Jade must have trained hard for this moment as she totally schooled the champ.  Jade was looking like a superstar and not sure what was going on with Jane.  All of a sudden, out comes Taylor Bella cheering on Madame Jade.   Jade tried to shoo her away saying she doesn’t need her help.  Jane took advantage of the distraction to lock Jade in a tarantula.  Jade had nowhere to go and to avoid too much damage, she tapped out.  Jupiter Jane retains the title.  She exited the ring and Taylor got in and started yelling at Jade.  A shoving match between the two started but ended pretty quickly after Jane went back in and stood by her tag team partner.  Taylor backed off.  Jane and Jade shook hands and then left the ring.  (15 min)

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #407

We come to you with a news flash hot off the presses. 

Gardenia Blue, with permission from owners, after finding more anomalies, requested from the owners that everything be shut down for the rest of the month so that she can conclude her investigations.  This just so happens to coincide with the announcement from GM Max McGillicutty that he is giving the ENTIRE roster the rest of the month off paid.  He says that they made so much money from the Clash of the Champions PPV that those who wrestled got bonuses and everyone else gets to ride those coattails and will get to enjoy some time off.  We will pick back up at the beginning of October.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #406

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  GM Max McGillicutty says that there is a plan in the works and he will unveil it at the next show once all the “t’s are crossed and the “I’s” are dotted.”

The show begins with a continuation of the IC tournament bracket.   First out is New Day’s Kofi Kingston taking on the Desperado’s El Chango.  El Chango really turned up the fire in this one and kept Kofi on the defensive for the majority of the match.  Kofi then grabbed a chair in hopes of smacking El Chango with it but the Stache ran down and superkicked the chair right into Kofi’s face.  Stache throws Kofi back into the ring.  El Chango climbs the ropes and nails a shooting star press.  He makes the cover and gets the 3 count at the 12 minute mark.  The fans do NOT like the path the Desperados are on and were vocal about it.  Stache and El Chango brushed them off.

The X-Factor’s Austin Aries calls out the Elitist Champion Reid Rothchild and he is accompanied by his wife Ravishing Raquel.  Aries says he is officially putting his name in the hat for that title.  Alberto el Patron comes out and says that he also exemplifies Amazing (hence part of the A-Team) and also wants to put his name in the hat.  Adam Rose, Buff Austin, Ethan Carter III, the Axe, Alexander Rusev and Wade Barrett all come out and say they want part of it.  Max comes out and says he’ll have another battle royal to determine who gets the first shot.  That begins now.  Buff Austin very surprisingly took out Austin Aries.  Adam Rose was on fire after eliminating Ethan Carter, Buff Austin and finally Alberto el Patron.  Adam Rose will be first in line for a shot at the Elitist Title.  Reid Rothchild then runs down and beats Adam Rose down and stands over him holding his title.

This just in…the marketing team for the HWF and CSWA were just notified by the teams from ConAgra Foods (Slim Jim) and Betty Crocker (Fruit Roll ups) that they were ending all contracts and agreements with the Stache and El Chango citing unsportsmanlike conduct.  I guess that gravy train for the Desperados is now over.  I’m sure they will not be happy about that.

We go back to the ring for the next IC title lineup match with Stardust taking on Sami Zayn.  Stardust comes out and says he will defeat Zayn or he will ask for a transfer to the CSWA.  For 7 minutes, Stardust started off strong but then Zayn started to kick it up a few notches.  Zayn seemed to get faster the longer the match went on.  Zayn then hits Stardust with a three quarter nelson suplex and that put the nail in the coffin for Stardust’s HWF career. Zayn gets the win and Stardust will now be moved to the CSWA.

In the back, The Desperados are given the news and then they begin blaming everyone and realize this all started when they lost the tag team titles (and when CJ didn’t lose his job).  Stache looks at the camera with an evil look on his face and says that the Steel Curtain and CJ HAVE to go.

Next in the IC title hunt is Bobby Roode vs Tyson Kidd.  In just 7 minutes, Bobby crushes Kidd with a back suplex.  Tyson needed to be helped from the ring.  Bobby Roode moves on.

Jupiter Jane says she would give Madame Jade the next shot but Cactus Jackie has been whining a lot and says she has to be next in line.  Jade says that she will challenge Jackie and if she beats her, she wants to be next in line.  Jane agrees.

We only have 2 qualifying matches for the IC title left.  Tyler Breeze vs Sonic Blade is up next.  Breeze started off just overwhelming Blade but as time went on, Blade found his groove and surprised the hell out of Tyler.  As Blade kept on improving, Tyler kept failing.  Tyler did battle back at the end.  Tyler nailed a sunset flip and tried to pull Blade down.  Blade instead managed to lean in and lock in a reverse cradle and secure the win.  Sonic Blade pulls out an upset win and moves on while X-Division Champ Tyler is sent home.  (25 min)

Cactus Jackie vs Madame Jade is next with the winner getting the next shot at Jupiter Jane’s Diva’s title.  This was a short match that saw Jackie grab a chair and the ref immediately disqualified her.  Madame Jade gets the next title shot.  (7 min).  Jupiter Jane comes out and says she made a mistake.  It wasn’t Jackie that was next in line, it was Spider Violet.  OOPS.  Jade isn’t happy about it and says she’ll wrestler Violet right now.  Spider comes out and starts to beat down on Madame Jade for several minutes and then takes a breather. She looks at the camera and points to her head, presumably showing how smart she is and then she turns around and Jade locks in the Jade Breaker and Spider ends up tapping out.  Madame Jade gets her second win (7 min).  It looks like Jupiter Jane doesn’t have much choice anymore.

In their first match up as a team, the Varsity Club (Jack Swagger, Bo Dallas & Frankie Kazarian) try their luck against the established A-Team.  Alberto sat out most of the match due to the fact he wrestled earlier.  Cesaro and Neville held their own against the Varsity Club. Frankly, I think the A-Team was just leading them on with the hopes that they were doing well.  Alas, they weren’t.  After toying around with them for about 20 some odd minutes, Alberto tags in and hits a scoop powerslam on Bo Dallas and hooks the leg for the 1-2-3.  The A-Team are victorious.  (24 min)

It is time for the main event and final placement for the IC title tournament.  First, the Scorpion Warrior Sting comes out and then is followed by Brethren member Kane.  Kane is accompanied to the ring by Bray Wyatt.  Wyatt tells Sting it’s not too late to join them and once again become a member of Wyatt’s Warriors.  Sting respectfully declines. Bray says ‘OK’ and then leaves.  Sting explodes out of the corner and immediately takes the match to Kane who was not prepared for this onslaught.  Sting nailed the Stinger Splash 3 times and Kane just fell to the mat.  Sting locked in the Scorpion Deathlock and Kane had no choice but to tap out.  Sting gets the win in relatively short fashion. (4 min).  Sting then gets on the mic and says that he is NOT entering the tournament but says he wants a shot at whomever wins the IC title via the tournament.  The fans pop for him as the show comes to a close.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – Issue #405

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Looks like we have an action packed card tonight which will include qualifying matches to see who makes it to the IC title tournament.  We will also have a battle royal that will include all the 3 man teams to see who will survive and take their team to a match against the Brethren (the Ascension & Kane).  There will also be a contract signing between Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe tonight.  We know the Brethren are here.  Will Bray also be?

Our first match is a qualifier and it will be CJ taking on Uhaa Nation.  CJ comes out with a mic as he makes his way to the ring.  “You know I was gonna come out here tonight.......talk a little crap, call out the owners, maybe even pick up a few these women in the audience......then I realized after that epic match with The Rock, being there laid out on that mat......taking a couple days to nurse my wounds, I realized that CJ is here for a reason, to change the game in the sports entertainment business, my business, and my business includes the IC CHAMPIONSHIP....AND SPEAKING OF BUSINESS......THERE ARE 2 WHO SHOULD BE MINDING THEIR OWN and yes I'm talking to you Landing strip and El Cheeto.....these 2 clowns have 0 business.....I mean absolutely no business in the CSWA\HWF running their mouths like someone actually cares to hear them speak, or even watch them wrestle....so I strongly suggest you shut you little pie holes before I fill them with lefts and rights.....CJ has proven time and time and time again that he will not back down or quit.....CJ has been a winner and a loser, he's been beaten bruised by the baddest men in all of sports entertainment and he is still here!!!!!! Make no mistake CJ has also handed out his fair shares of whippins too......CJ has earned his respect!!!!!! So Max, I know your back there in your office watching this.....take note CJ is here to stay and is going to earn his way to the top!!!!!! CJ OUT!!!!!!” (drops the mic)

Uhaa Nation makes his way out for the match.  This one was pretty even until the Desperados (the Stache and El Chango) ran down to the ring and attacked CJ resulting in a DQ.  CJ battled back and after grabbing a chair, he chased the Desperados from the ring.  CJ moves on in the tourney. (7 ½ min)

In the back, GM Max McGillicutty reprimands the Desperados for their attack on CJ.  The Stache says that if Max had fired CJ, none of this would be happening.  Max says the Desperados need to blow of some steam so he is putting them in a match against the Ascension and the winner will get the next title shot at the Steel Curtain.  That seems to appease them…for now.

Next on the card is Main Event Buff Austin vs Buzz Steel for X-Division placement.  Buzz was destroying Austin and Buff tried to leave a few times but Buzz kept bringing him back in.  Buzz would beat Buff down and Buff would try to leave but Buzz just wouldn’t let him.  The last time Buff tried to walk out, Buzz went after him (like he’s done all match) and Buff ended up hurling Buzz right into the steel post.  Buff then kicked Buzz repeatedly against the steel steps.  He finally rolled Buzz back in and hit the 3 inch punch.  He then rolled him up (and with a hook of the tights) and got the 1-2-3.  Buff skyrockets up the rankings for the X-Division title and Buzz drops.  (24 min)

Roving reporter Larry Morton catches up with the Fiend and asks if he will once again team up with the Miz to reform the Mizfits.  Fiend says that it’s been a rough couple of months and is taking some time off to heal some wounds.  He doesn’t know about the Miz.  The Miz, arrogant as he is, has earned his respect and now he needs to think about his (Fiend) future.

Next up is Dirk ‘the Pick’ Devon going up against the Varsity Club’s Frankie Kazarian.  In only 15 minutes, Dirk eats a spin kick from Frankie and drops to the mat. Frankie makes the cover and gets the pin.  Dirk is now out of the running for the IC title and Frankie steps up.  (15 min)

In the back, the Ascension are told they are fighting the Desperados tonight.  Viktor says “Again?   We’ve beaten these schmucks over and over.  What do we have to do to finally be rid of them?”  Bray comes over and says Viktor is talking a mighty big game over the team who took their tag team titles away.  Bray says that if the Ascension want to continue to represent Wyatt’s Brethren, they have to continuously fight to prove they belong there.  Konnor tell Bray not to worry and they will prove they are the team to back Bray.

The next qualifying match is up with Starbuck Steel taking on Wade Barrett.  Steel, one half of the tag team champs, really took the match to Barrett who underestimated his opponent.  After Starbuck stunned Wade with multiple uppercuts, he rolled Barrett up with a small package (there may have been some tight pulling - for leverage purposes only) and he gets the 1-2-3.   Starbuck moves on in the tournament.  (15 min)

We move right on to the next qualifying match with Prestige Inc.’s Magnus taking on Mike Bennett.  In just 12 minutes, Magnus gets the win after kicking Bennett in the midsection and rolling him up for the pin.

Madame Jade is ecstatic that Jupiter Jane agreed to have her first title defense against her.   She says she will give it her all and do everyone proud.

Madame Jade makes her way out first and then is followed by her tag team partner and the Diva’s Champion Jupiter Jane.  Just as the match began, both Ravishing Raquel and Taylor Bella ran out and attacked the team.  The ref ends up throwing the match out but Max comes out and instead makes this a tag team match.  Jade seems a bit disappointed.  This one went 24 minutes and did not look good for the team of Taylor/Raquel.  They were totally schooled and Raquel ended up abandoning Taylor.  It only took a few minutes after that for Madame Jade to slam Taylor’s head into the (exposed) corner turnbuckle and make the cover to get the 1-2-3.  Madame Jade and Jupiter Jane win this one.  Madame Jade asked Jane if she would still give her a match and Jane says “of course”.  They then leave.  (24 min)

GM Max McGillicutty comes out and first introduces the HWF World Champion Brock Lesnar.  Brock comes down with the contract in hand.  He signs it and then leaves before Joe makes it down.  Max seems confused.  CSWA World Champion Samoa Joe then comes out and signs the contract making their match official.  Max says this match will happen at Wargames.  All of a sudden, the Ascension and Kane hit the ring and attack Joe.  The Enforcers, Ryback and Mark Henry run down to even the odds and the Brethren bail.  Joe promises that the Enforcers will make it to the finals and will be the ones to beat the holy hell out of the Brethren and take their titles.

In the back, Kurt Angle and the Varsity Club say they are ready for some action.  Kurt says that the Varsity Club will take on anyone, anywhere.  Alberto el Patron and his A-Team members Antonio Cesaro and Adrian Neville walk over and say they’ll accept.

We are back in the ring hosting a battle royal for all the 3 man tag teams and the winner will take his team to Wargames and challenge the Brethren for the 6 Man titles.  In this 30 minute battle, there were multiple double eliminations as well as teammates facing off.  Alberto el Patron eliminated Adrian Neville and AJ Styles over Christopher Daniels.  Before being eliminated, Daniels was squaring off against Eric Young who actually bolted over the top rope when Phat Sol came down and chased him from the ring. Also to note, Magnus didn’t participate in this and was replaced (for this only) by the Hardcore Champion Magnum Kone.  Kone actually made it all the way to the end but then got ousted by Samoa Joe. Joe gets the win and the Enforcers will then challenge the Brethren for the 6 man titles.  (30 min)

It is time for the main event with the Ascension taking on the Desperados.   The winner of this match will get the next title shot against the champs the Steel Curtain at Wargames.  This one ends up going to a 30 minute battle and the Ascension were KILLING the Desperados.  After the match came to an end, a very pissed off Stache grabbed a chair and started beating the holy hell out of Viktor and Konnor.  Kane and MJ came down to make the save.   I am sure these two teams will have a rematch soon.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – Issue #404

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Today’s show begins with the Desperados walking in.  The Stache says he’s not happy they are being brought back early since CJ still has a job but they too have a job to do and they are here to do it.

The first match of the night is the Desperados (The Stache and El Chango) taking on the Band (The Axe and Dirk ‘the Pick’ Devon’).  Right off the bat, you could tell the Desperados’ heads were not in this match.  The Band beat them all around the ring.  Frustrated by the fact they could not figure things out, El Chango left the ring, grabbed a chair and blasted Dirk Devon with it causing the DQ.  The Band wins this one and the Desperados walked out very pissed off.  (13 ½ min)

‘The Elitist’ Reid Rothchild walks out with a bag in hand.  He takes a mic and says that Prestige Inc. needs to go back to the way things were.  He says that King Damian Sandow and Magnus are going to concentrate on the tag title scene and Reid will bring his Elitist title out of mothballs.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that if Reid is going to parade around with that ‘thing’, then he will be required to ‘defend’ it.  Reid says that there is no one on his level worthy and music hits and out comes ‘the Man’ Austin Aries.  Aries nods and he walks by Max and makes his way to the ring.  Aries takes the mic from Reid and says “How about taking me on for size?”   Aries stared at Reid who ended up backtracking out of the ring and made his way backwards up the ramp never taking his eyes off of Aries.

Jupiter Jane makes her way out to the ring and says she is pleased to represent the Diva’s division.  She introduces her partner Madame Jade and says that for standing by her all this time, she will have her first title defense against Jade.  Jade is happy and they both hug. 

Our next match is up with Solomon Crowe and Kalisto making their way to the ring.  Music hits and over the loudspeakers blares “Whaaaasssaaaap” and out comes the Dudley Boys (Devon and Bubba Ray).  The crowd pops huge for them.  Kalisto and Crowe totally went toe to toe with the Dudleys.  Both teams took the fight to each other and it was pretty evenly matched.  At the 21 minute mark, Kalisto started to get frustrated and grabbed a steel chair.  Bubba runs in and knocks the chair out of Kalisto’s hands.  Devon joins in and together, he and Bubba nail a 3D on Crowe on the steel chair. Devon makes the cover and gets the win.  After the match, all 4 men stared at each other but ended up shaking hands.  (21 min)

In the interview area, newcomer Phat Sol explains why he is here.  Phat Sol is the uncle to Madame Jade and after Eric Young insulted her, he had to come to the aid of his niece.  However, EY doesn’t seem to want to meet him like a man but hides like a coward.  All of a sudden, EY runs in and attacks Phat Sol and throws him into the storage area and kicked him a few times before running off laughing.  The interviewer helped Phat Sol up and he took off after EY.

Our next match is ‘Main Event’ Buff Austin taking on the Nigerian Wraith.  This was at first was painful and boring to watch.  The fans actually started to chant ‘boring’ and Austin took great offense.  He decided he’d had enough and walked off but the Wraith went after him and really turned it up a few notches.  The Wraith then proceeded to beat the snot out of Buff.  Buff would battle back and show why he earned the nickname ‘Main Event’.  The Wraith then took over and hit a slingshot suplex; followed it up with a kimura and then hit a strikeout headbutt.  The Wraith made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Buff Austin tried to throw a tantrum but no one paid attention to him so he just left.  (25 min)

Back in his office, GM Max McGillicutty is meeting with CJ.  CJ says that he’s almost ready to be cleared for the return to the ring and wants to put in for his rematch clause for the Hardcore title.  Max says that’s not exactly best for business.  Max says that he has plans in place where he feels CJ will play a more important role.  He then leaves the room and CJ is sitting there looking confused.

Max heads to the ring and then calls down Brock Lesnar and asks him to bring the IC title with him.  Brock comes down and gets in the ring.  Max says that he has a contract drawn up that will put Brock in a match against Samoa Joe.  Brock says that he wants clarification that both World titles will be on the line and then the winner gets Bray Wyatt for the Undisputed title.  Max trades the contract for the IC title.  Brock looks at the contract but nothing is filled out.  Max says that Joe is not here and they will have the contract signing soon.  Brock looks pissed but Max sends him away.  Max then says that matches will take place over the next few shows and then at Wargames in October, a new IC champion will be crowned.  Max then leaves.

Kurt Angle then comes out and says that the only way that Brock vs Joe for the World titles would be better if it was Angle vs Joe for the titles.  Angle says that he wants a shot at Brock’s World title but that won’t be happening tonight.   Instead, Angle gets to fight someone he says is top echelon in the HWF and introduces Sonic Blade as his opponent for the evening.  Blade says that Angle talks a big game and if he thinks this match will be a cake walk, then Kurt can put his future title shot on the line.  After Kurt stopped laughing, he agreed and the bell rang.  Sonic Blade held his own for exactly 3 minutes and then fell victim to the Olympic Hero.  Unfortunately for Kurt though, World Champion Brock Lesnar made his way to ringside and sat at commentary.  This threw Kurt off his game.  After Kurt had hit Sonic Blade with an Angle Slam, he went out of the ring and got in Brock’s face.  Kurt began poking Lesnar in the chest and Brock fought back.  The ref then rang the bell disqualifying Sonic Blade for outside interference.  Kurt and Brock traded punches a few more times before the suits came out and broke it all up.  (10 min for the match; 15 for the segment)

In our main event, the Miz comes out to defend the US title against Zack Ryder.  This was about as one sided as a match can get.  However, Miz could not get the pin.  Early on, he would try for a pin only holding Ryder down with a finger.  Then it was with his hand and then finally, sitting on him.  Each time, Ryder would keep kicking out.  After almost getting the win after hitting a missile dropkick, Miz finally wizened up and took the match seriously.  Unfortunately for him, by the time things clicked, it was too late.  This one ended up going to a 30 minute draw.  Miz retains the title but looks a bit foolish for not taking the match seriously.  Miz promises to do better next time.

Just as the show is coming to a close, Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt comes out.  He is accompanied by the Brethren (the Ascension’s Viktor and Konnor and Kane).  Bray says that it doesn’t matter if it’s Angle, Joe, or Brock, Bray will defeat whomever he meets and will be victorious and a triple crown champion.  The Desperados run down and attack the Ascension but they are beat down after Bray and Kane joined in. The Tag Team Champions the Steel Curtain ran down only to be disposed of pretty quick.  Finally, Samoa Joe comes out with the Enforcers and challenges them to a match for the 6 man titles.  Prestige Inc (Sandow, Magnus and Reid Rothchild) then come out and say they want to be in line.  This then brings out all the other 3 man teams all laying claim to a shot at those titles.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that at the next show, there will be a tournament to see who, out of the current top 10, is the most worthy of a title match.  All the men stare at each other as the show comes to a close.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #403

Hello fans and welcome back to our show.  Our first piece of business is that we were told the Desperados have taken a break and went back to Mexico in protest of CJ still having his job.  GM Max McGillicutty addressed this by saying that he wasn’t happy with it either but CJ is still around and if the Desperados want to stay here, they’d better be back on US soil by next week or it’s possible they’d be in violation of their contracts and could be out permanently. 

Max also says that a match between CSWA World Champion Samoa Joe and HWF World Champion Brock Lesnar will indeed happen once Brock relinquishes the Intercontinental Title.   A tournament will then be held to determine a new champion.

CJ makes his way over to the interview area and says that he is ready…ready to get his hardcore title back from ‘the King of Cones’ Magnum Kone.  Max walks over and says that CJ has not been cleared by doctors and the two of them will indeed have a conversation about this once he is fit to return to the ring.

Our first match of the night includes the debut of our new performer Phat Sol.  He comes out to “Semi Charmed” by Third Eye Blind and just as he’s half the way to the ring, GM Max McGillicutty comes out and stops the music saying they do not have permission to use the music and don’t want to get fined.  Phat Sol continues to the ring to absolute quiet.  The fans show some appreciation by singing some of the lyrics.  Eric Young comes out next and attacks him and the two brawl in and out of the ring.  The ref cannot get control so he just throws the match out.  Suits from the back had to come out and separate the two but Phat Sol grabbed a chair and chased EY to the back.

We go right to our next match which is Konnor from the Ascension taking on Big E Langston from New Day.  Big E took control of the match and even with help from Viktor and Kane, it didn’t help.  They end up getting sent to the back.  Big E gets the pin with a shoulderblock after New Day members Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods came out and distracted Konnor giving Big E a title shot at the World Title.  (24 min) 

Owners Donald Bychowski and Jeff Meyers meet with Max and discuss the Oct PPV.  Max says that Revenge was a good name last year but this year they need to do something never before seen.  Max says that he wants to do a “WarGames” event.  It will be a 2 day event where Day 1 is tag team based and Day 2 is singles/wargames competition.  Jeff Meyers comments “I knew there was a reason we hired this guy.”  Donald Bychowski tells Max to “make it happen.”  All 3 shake hands.

Viktor is next up in singles competition defending his spot against the Nigerian Wraith.  Viktor comes out with Konnor and heads to the ring.  The Wraith comes out next and says he has some ‘bad news’ for Viktor and that is he will be losing today.  Before the match could begin, Konnor is immediately sent away from the ring.  The Wraith took the fight to Viktor and in only 8 minutes, drops him with a massive chop.  Wraith takes the win and puts him in line for the world title shot.  (8min)

Max agrees to let Brock and Joe have a match to determine who will become the only World Champion.  That person will get a shot at Bray’s Undisputed title.

Dolph Ziggler comes out and mocks the Ascension for losing their title shots.  He says he wants to make it a trifecta and challenges Kane for his spot.  Kane comes out and we have ourselves another match.  The two slug it out for a solid 14 minutes with neither giving or taking the lead.  Dolph then reversed an attempted shove down and nailed a jumping elbow smash.  Dolph then drops Kane with a bulldog.  Kane recovers and tosses Dolph out of the ring but he lands on the apron and climbs the turnbuckle.  He then jumps on Kane’s back locking in a sleeperhold.  Try as he could, Kane could not get Dolph off his back.  Finally, Kane succumbed to exhaustion and went to sleep.  Dolph gets the win via sleeperhold submission.   (18 min)

Tyler Breeze says he’s actually next in line for the IC title and if Roode wants the next shot, he has to go through him first.

It is time for the main event with the Miz taking on the Fiend in a Falls Count Anywhere – no time limit match.  Miz comes out first followed by the Fiend.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that there must be a winner and this one doesn’t end until one man walks out with the title.  The two go at it like wild dogs.  They fought all over the place including at the concession stand, the audience and backstage.  These  two held absolutely nothing back.  They beat the holy hell out of each other and used as many weapons at their disposal as they could find.  After battling all over the arena, they finally made it back to the ring.  Both kept trying to slug it out but with each hit, they slowed down more and more.  Finally, after hitting a low blow on the Fiend, Miz nails the Skull Crushing Finale for the finale and the 3 count and Miz becomes the official US Champion.  After the Miz had his hand raised as the victor, Miz walks over and extends his hand to the Fiend.  The Fiend, reluctantly shakes it.  Miz raises the Fiend’s arm and the fans cheer but then they are cut off by new music.

Bray Wyatt is heading to the ring followed by 3 druids.  The druids rush the ring and throw Fiend and the Miz from it.  One of them grabs a mic and hands it to Bray.  Bray says that the house of Wyatt has not been the force it once was but now these three druids have joined forces with him to once again wreak havoc on the world of professional wrestling.  Bray asks the druids to remove their hoods and they are none other than …The Ascension and Kane.  Viktor, Konnor and Kane have now all aligned themselves with Bray.  Wyatt then says that his new following, when teaming with him, will be known as the Brethren.   They will once again exert dominance against everyone and everything.  Bray stands tall with the Brethren behind him and the show comes to a close.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #402 (9.1)

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Our next show, hot off the heels of our extraordinary PPV, begins with a face we haven’t seen in a very long time.  The show starts off with “My Name is Paul Heyman.”  For those not in the know, Paul Heyman is the advocate for Brock Lesnar.  Paul has a mic and is heading to the ring. 

Paul is in the ring and he continues.  “For those of you who were not living under a rock, my advocate the BEAST Brock Lesnar is the NEW HWF WORLD CHAMPION.  Brock, come out here please.”  The newly crowned world champion comes out with his IC title also.  Brock gets in the ring but doesn’t say anything.  Paul starts up again.  “This man, the Beast Incarnate, defeated a man who sat atop the HWF for a long time.  To Bray’s credit, he defeated superstars such as John Cena (boos from the crowd), Sting (cheers) and the likes of the Undertaker (huge pop).  However, as good as he is, he could NOT beat Brrrrrrrock Lessssssnar.  In fact, the champ deserves this time but before I leave, I will leave you with this.”  (Paul starts to sing the following to the tune for the ‘Battle Hymn of the Republic’.)

“Mine eyes have seen the glory of the ending of Bray Wyatt;

Brock has conquered everyone he faced; you wish that’d be erased;

Now Bray Wyatt’s been destroyed; Brock becomes the champ we’re overjoyed;

The Beast Incarnate destroys all.

Brock Lesnar Marches On!

The fans pop huge for Brock but that ends when GM Max McGillicutty comes out.   “Thank you Paul for that fabulous rendition.  Brock, I officially congratulate you on your win.  You deserve nothing less.  However, Bray has said that he will want a rematch and based on his long run as champ, he deserves nothing less.  Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar will have a rematch down the line…that is a promise.”  The fans pop again.  “But…the reason I’m out here is in regards to the other title you are carrying…the Intercontinental Championship.  Brock, I give you the choice…you can hold both titles and pull double duty defending both titles whenever you are on a show OR…you can drop the IC title and a tournament will be held to crown a new champ.  The choice…100%...is yours.”  Brock takes the mic from Paul Heyman.  “I am the Beast Incarnate.  I will forfeit the title on only one condition and that must happen first. I want something in return.  I want the chance to show the WORLD that I am THE champion.  I want a match against Samoa Joe.”  Max says “Yes, you and Joe will face off to see who gets a shot at Bray’s Undisputed Heavyweight title.”  “No” Brock corrects him, “you misunderstand me.  I want a shot at the CSWA World title and once I win that, I want to face Bray Wyatt as the ONLY World Champion and then, like I just took his World title, I will take his Undisputed title and hold ALL the gold in this organization.  You make that happen.  If you don’t, I will.”  Brock and Paul Heyman leave and Max is speechless. 

We cut to the back where Bobby Roode is being interviewed.  He says that he has Brock’s number and will go after the IC title first and then the World title after that.  Brock walks over and says Roode doesn’t even compare to a pimple on his ass and is not worthy of his time.  Brock says to go find some schmuck to fight and walks away.  Roode, pissed off, throws out a challenge to the next in line for the IC title – El Chango.

Our first match has our new hire Uhaa Nation taking on Bram.  Uhaa hits the ring first and then Bram makes his way out.  A fan throws a drink at Bram as he is walking by and Bram puts his hands on the fan and yanks him over the railing.  Bram then kicks the fan and then bodyslams him on the ramp.  GM Max McGillicutty runs back out and screams for security.  Max has Bram arrested for attacking the fan and says that he and (most likely) the fan will press charges against him.  Oh, and he is now FIRED and will not be allowed back in to the HWF and CSWA.  He tells security to get Bram the hell out of his building.  Max says that Uhaa Nation needs an opponent and brings out Sami Zayn.  In what turned out to be a complete 180 degree turn from his first appearance, Uhaa beat the holy hell out of Sami for 14 minutes.  Uhaa scoops Zayn up and nails a powerbomb and makes the cover for the 1-2-3.  Uhaa Nation gets his first win.  (14 min)

In the back, Madame Jade is being interviewed talking about her partner Jupiter Jane’s win over Taylor Bella to capture the Diva’s Title and she is interrupted by Eric Young who walks over and tells Madame Jade to shut up and stop taking away time from the REAL wrestlers.  Jade tries to reply but EY pie-faces her and tells her to go back to the kitchen.  All of a sudden, a new wrestler runs over and attacks EY until Eric had enough and ran away.  Madame Jade then introduces her ‘uncle’ from the territory – Phat Sol.  It appears that Phat Sol will be on the CSWA roster.  Sol doesn’t say anything but leaves with Madame Jade.

The Rock is here and is sure to address what happened at the PPV.

Bobby Roode vs El Chango for the IC title spot is next.  El Chango is dominating Roode and in an act of desperation, Roode hits El Chango with a beer bottle resulting in a DQ.  El Chango retains his spot.  The Stache comes out to help his partner who seem to recover pretty quickly.  El Chango says that if Bobby Roode wants to fight Brock so bad, he can have the title shot.  El Chango and the Stache have other business to attend to.  Stache gets on the mic and says that a travesty happened at the PPV and he’s not talking about their loss to the Steel Curtain.  Stache says that CJ did in fact tap out (he saw it on the monitor) but the ref didn’t see it.  He says that CJ still being here is not right and he and El Chango are going to take a break until Max does what is right and gets rid of that asshole once and for all.  Stache and El Chango then leave the ring.  (14 min for the match; 20 total for the segment)

GM Max McGillicutty says that our main event tonight will be Sheamus challenging Kurt Angle for his spot for the world title. 

We go back to the ring for our next match which has Christopher Daniels challenging Leon Teremoto.  Leon was on fire and totally schooled the veteran.  In an act of desperation, Daniels threw Teremoto  out of the ring and then handcuffed him to the ringside railing.  Leon was not able to get free and thus got counted out.  Daniels then ran away as the ref freed Leon.  Leon chased after him.  (12 ½ min)

The Rock then makes his way out to the ring.  Rock asks the fans not to cheer him as he doesn’t deserve it.  He tried to take out CJ and put him away but CJ would not give up.  He put everything he had into this match and it didn’t seem like it was enough.  Rock then called CJ down to the ring.  CJ then limped out and hobbled down to the ring.  You can tell he looked worse for wear.  Rock said that he’d keep it short.  Rock says he still doesn’t like CJ and he still thinks CJ is an ass but the Rock now RESPECTS CJ.  CJ took everything the Rock threw at him and like a man, he didn’t tap out.  Rock says that CJ has earned his respect and feels that everything between them is done…for now.  Rock then leaves the ring and walks up to CJ.  He extends his hand and CJ shakes it.  Rock leaves and CJ has a mic in hand.  “Ice Cream man…I’m coming for what is mine.  It’s time.”  CJ then drops the mic and leaves.

It is now time for our main event.  Sheamus (the #10 seed) is challenging #3 seed Kurt Angle for his spot for the HWF World title.  Sheamus and Kurt were pretty evenly matched.  Kurt caught Sheamus with back to back Angle Slams but Sheamus wouldn’t stay down.  Kurt got distracted as something caught his eye.  Sheamus dug deep and caught Kurt as he was turning around with a Brogue Kick.  Sheamus made the cover and with his feet on the ropes, got the 1-2-3.  Kurt Angle moves down in the rankings and Sheamus moves up.  (8 min)   Kurt is visibly upset and leaves the ring while Sheamus gloats and beats his chest in the ring.  The fans boo. 

With that, the show comes to an end…and Hell has officially frozen over (Rock giving CJ props).  Stay tuned for more action.
