Hello
fans and welcome back to our newsletter. Today’s show kicks off with a limo
pulling up outside. The Owners Mr.
Bychowski & Mr. Meyers step out and they are immediately greeted by GM Max
McGillicutty. After shaking hands, Max
leads them backstage. “We have a lot to
talk about” Max says before the camera cuts off.
Our
first match starts almost immediately.
Cactus Jackie makes her way out to the ring. She is then followed by her
challenger Southern Belle. Jackie didn’t
waste any time going right on the offensive before the bell rang. She took a chair and rammed it into Belle’s
ribs multiple times before the ref came out and took the chair away. Jackie threw Belle into the ring and told
them to start the match. Belle was in a
lot of pain. Belle managed to connect
with a flying bodypress but we think it did more damage to her than
Jackie. Jackie then locked Belle in the
Desert Stretch and Belle couldn’t handle it and tapped out. Jackie then kicked Belle out of the
ring. Jackie stands tall amidst the
booing from the fans before leaving.
Belle had to be helped to the back.

Women’s
champion Paige is being interviewed by Larry Morton and she is approached by ½
of the Women’s tag team champions Charlotte Flair. Charlotte says that tonight, Paige gets to
put that title on the line against her and the 4 Horsewomen will gain another
championship. Paige tells her to keep
dreaming and maybe one day she’ll fulfill her dream but it won’t be tonight.
Next,
we go back to the ring for our next match which will be for the X-Division
title. Champion Tyler Breeze defends his
title against Sami Zayn. Zayn comes out
first to a huge pop. The fans love this
guy. Next, Breeze makes his way out and
after receiving a lackluster response, began flipping off the fans who then
turned on him. Zayn owned the champ and
Breeze struggled to stay toe to toe with his challenger. Breeze had the intestinal fortitude to know
where he was so he either made it to the ropes or had enough to kick out of a
pin attempt. Zayn hit a phenomenal
sunset flip powerbomb which elicited a “Holy Shit” chant from the crowd. Breeze tried to lock in a headlock but Zayn maneuvered
it into a spike Brainbuster. Zayn made
the cover and this time Tyler did not kick out.
1…2….3 seconds later and Sami Zayn is the NEW X-Division Champion! Breeze left the ring while Zayn celebrated
with the fans before leaving. (26 min)
In
looking at the rankings, Buzz and Starbuck Steel are both contenders for
singles titles even though they are better as a tag team. They offer their individual spots to any tag
team in the top 10 who will trade spots with them. The Varsity
Club (Bo Dallas & Jack Swagger) just happen to be walking by and accept the
trade but then argue on who is taking which spot. A rock/paper/scissors later and Swagger is
getting the World title match and Bo Dallas is getting the Intercontinental
title match. Looks like the Steel
Curtain is back in the tag team top 10.
We
head back to the ring for our next match.
Kalisto is taking on Prestige Inc.’s Damian Sandow. Sandow, still upset at the departure of
Magnus, took out his frustrations on Kalisto.
Poor guy didn’t get much in the way of offense as Sandow beat the heck
out of him. Finally, after hitting
Kalisto with pummeling fists, Sandow decided enough was enough and covered him
for the 3 count. Damian Sandow wins this
one. (19 min)
There
is commotion back stage as Phat Sol attacked Dr. Red Fang. Fang had to run away to keep from receiving
the beatdown of a lifetime. Fortunately,
he survived to fight another day. I’m
sure he will respond in kind.
It
is time for our next match with Dirk ‘the Pick’ Devon taking on Bobby Roode. It is apparent that Roode has no respect for
Dirk and it really showed so Dirk did what he could and turned the tables on
Roode. Bobby has no idea what hit him. Dirk beat him all over the ring and after
hitting the Fender 5-Arm, he made the cover and got the 3 count. The fans didn’t care either and booed him
incessantly. Dirk got pissed off and
just left. (11 min)
Outside,
another limo pulls up with a second car in tow. What looks like security guards
got out of the second car and they got the cameraman to turn off the camera
before the occupants from the limo emerged.
Back
to the ring and more action. First, out
comes ‘Luke Warm’ Lucas Johnston. He get
a decent (aka lukewarm) reception from the fans but there seems to be one lone
person in the audience cheering louder than others.
Next, his opponent Ken Anderson makes his way out. He too gets a mixed reaction. This was a pretty close match but Anderson,
the veteran, held a slight advantage.
Anderson would try for a few pin attempts but Lucas wouldn’t stay
down. In fact, every time Lucas kicked
out of a pin, that one lone fan would cheer louder. As we got to the end of the match, a weary
Johnston was taken down by a spinning heel kick. Anderson picked him up to set up for the
Kenton Bomb but Johnston shrugged him off and sent him to the ropes and BLASTED
him with a missile dropkick. Lucas made
the quick cover and scored the pin. The
fans were shocked as well as Anderson (and Johnston too). The fans seemed a bit more appreciative and
as he was leaving, he looked to where that one lone fan was and they were
holding a sign that had “Luke Warm” crossed out and instead read “RED HOT”
Lucas Johnston. Lucas smiled as he made
his way to the back. (19 min)
We
go to the back because another limo (our 3rd of the night) pulls up. Gee, I wonder who’s in this one but like the
last, we don’t get to see it.
It’s
time for a title match with Paige defending the Women’s title vs Charlotte
Flair. Flair (1/2 of the Women’s tag
team champions) makes her way to the ring with her tag team partner Sasha Banks. They are then followed out by the champion
Paige who gets a pretty big pop. Charlotte
really took the match to Paige who looked like a rookie in this match. Charlotte beat her from pillar to post but
the champ held in there. Charlotte had
motioned to Sasha that she was going to throw Paige to the ropes. She whipped her in and Sasha pulled down the
top rope and Paige went sailing over.
However, the ref saw that and immediately disqualified Charlotte. She tried to complain but Paige had recovered
and blasted Sasha with the Women’s title and then went after Charlotte who
bolted from the ring. (10 ½ min)
Back
in Max’s office, he is with the owners who all agree they need to let the fans
in on what is going down when a staffer knocked on the door. He is admitted and he tells them that 2
additional limos have arrived. Max asks
if the staffer knows who it was but he says the cameraman on both occasions was
told to turn the camera off. Max looks
perplexed and says “Hmm, this may get messy.”
WHO IS IT FOR CRYIN’ OUT LOUD???
I guess we have to wait.
It
is time for the Main Event: The Axe
makes his way to the ring to a decent pop.
He is then followed by the Elitist Champion The Wraith. Axe says he’s taking that title and the
Wraith tells him he’s delusional. This
will have a 30 minute time limit best of 3 falls rules. The first fall goes to the Axe who scores the
win after hurling the Wraith out of the ring and getting counted out. The second fall goes 18 minutes and after
both the Wraith and Axe collided in the ring, they were both counted down and
out. That only leaves one minute
left. Just as the bell rang, Reid
Rothchild runs out and attacks the Wraith causing a DQ. With 2 DQ/CO’s in this match, the belt
doesn’t change hands. The Axe isn’t
happy about it. He confronts Reid in the
ring and questions his motives. Reid
says that the Elitist title is his and he wants it back. GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that
next week, Reid vs the Wraith vs the Axe will take place and the Elitist title
will be on the line. Reid and the Axe
both seemed happy about it.
Max
is then joined on the stage by the owners and they all head to the ring. Max says that he has information he needs to
pass along to the fans but he is interrupted by “NO CHANCE….NO CHANCE IN HELL”
and out comes WWE owner Vince McMahon accompanied by his daughter Stephanie. The two of them powerwalk to the ring. Stephanie gets in Max’s face and berates him
for the way he treated her. Vince
questions the owners on their lack of response to his phone calls. Mr. B tells Vince that it was not a
conversation to have over the phone but in person and said he called the WWE to
set up the meeting. Vince calls him a
liar and says he contacted the head of TNA Dixie Carter and the ambassador for
Ring of Honor Cary Silkin. He says he
speaks for everyone. He’s noticed how well
the HWF and CSWA have been doing using THEIR talent and making money hand over
fist. Vince says the “Board” (this is
him, Dixie and Cary) has decided that they want more money. Vince says that the HWF/CSWA owners are
paying a fraction for talent usage that they should. Vince hands Mr. Bychowski an envelope and
says that THIS is the amount they (the Board) should be receiving. Mr. B looks at it and his eyes almost pop out
of his head. He shows it to Mr. Meyers
who responds with “Are you *bleeping* crazy!
That is like a 400% premium. NO
talent is worth that.” Vince says that
the Board has decreed that if B&M refuse to meet their demands, they will
pull all the talent from the CSWA and HWF and they will have NOTHING left. Mr. B says you can’t drop a bombshell like
this and expect an answer today. Vince
says he will give them until the Wrestlemania PPV in April for a decision. Vince says that he also owns the term Wrestlemania
and there will be a premium charge for that too. Stephanie takes the mic and says “What? Cat got your tongue? I don’t see you standing tall when MONEY is
in the ring.”
New
music hits “HERE COMES THE MONEY!” and
out comes…HOLY CRAP…It's SHANE MCMAHON! Shane
dances on stage and then heads to the ring.
Shane apologized to Max and the owners for coming out like this but
Vince and Stephanie have to be stopped.
Shane says that he spoke to Max and he will, in fact, be wrestling for
the CSWA and HWF at Wrestlemania. The
fans pop. Shane calls Stephanie a gold
digger and says she couldn’t hold her own in a ring. Stephanie says if she wanted, she could
defeat anyone, anywhere. Shane asks
“Anyone? Anywhere? Are you sure?” Stephanie is pissed and says “What, you got
potatoes in your ears? You heard what I
said!” Shane looks to Max and Max says
“she’s your guest” and Shane says his guest was hoping Stephanie would say
that. He asks Stephanie one more time
that she’d take on anyone anywhere and after some goading, she said yes. Shane is happy and introduces his guest…Ronda
Rousey! Rousey comes to the ring and
Stephanie looks scared. Rousey takes the
mic and tells Stephanie she accepts and she will see her in a ring at
Wrestlemania. Stephanie sneers and then
slaps Ronda and Rousey gets pissed.
Steph realizes the error of her ways and bolts from the ring with Rousey
in tow. Vince backs out as Max and the
Owners “escort” Vince to the back. Shane
is left in the ring.
New
music hits and out comes the Hardcore Champion the Stache. The Stache says that in the old days, Shane
was a hardcore champion. Today, he is
the hardcore champion. Stache asks “How
about a match at Wrestlemania?” The fans
pop for that and just before Shane can answer, out comes the Desperados (El
Chango and Leon Teremoto). El Chango
asks the Stache what in the hell he is doing playing all nicey nice with
Shane. El Chango says “this is how it’s
done” and he and Leon attack and beat down Shane. The Stache finally breaks it up and looking
down at a beat up Shane, he turns and SHOVES El Chango telling him to back
off. El Chango gets in his face and just
as it looks like they are coming to blows, El Chango and Leon back off and
leave. The Stache helps Shane to his
feet and they shake hands as we have yet another match set up for Wrestlemania.
