HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 02.07 – WARZONE PPV

Hello Fans and welcome to our first PPV of the 2015 season – WARZONE!  This show is expected to look like a warzone after all is said and done.  There are a fantastic set of matches happening tonight with numerous titles on the line.  Last year at this time, Brock Lesnar was the HWF World Heavyweight Champion.  Could he become the champion 1 year later?  Also, Ravishing Raquel walked out of Warzone last year with her Diva’s title intact.  This year, she and the Women’s Champion AJ Lee put both titles on the line with one person (maybe) walking out with both titles.

The show begins with Pyro going off and the fans explode.  At first, we are treated to our two GM’s – HWF’s Master Bull and CSWA’s Hulk Hogan.  Bull takes the mic first.  “Hello and welcome to WARZONE. (cheap pop) Everything that has transpired over the last 6 weeks has been leading us to this point.”  Hogan then added on.  “With the Hulkster and the Bullster in the house, brother, there isn’t anything we can’t pull off.  Bull and I have a working relationship and it will benefit YOU, the fans.” (cheap pop)  Bull continues.  “The show is stacked and packed and ready to explode.  Let’s get this party started.”  Bull and Hogan leave.

We cut to the back where HWF World and Undisputed Champion Bray Wyatt is standing.  Bray says that Brock Lesnar is a terrible fate that awaits the unprepared opponent but Bray is more than prepared.  He will slay the Beast and reign supreme at the top of the HWF.

More pyro goes off as our first match begins.  The show kicks off with a title match.  First, Shield member Ryback makes his way out and then is followed by the North American and Hardcore champion Big Show.  Only the North American title is on the line tonight.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and tells us that each title match for both HWF and CSWA titles will be best of 3 falls 60 minute time limit matches unless otherwise pre-determined.  Ryback and Big Show went toe to toe for a solid 8 minutes.  Ryback went for the meathook but Show ducked and then hit a huge chokeslam.  He made the cover and got the first fall win.  The next round went a bit longer and for the majority of it, both men continued fighting toe to toe.  The tide ended up changing and favored the champion who took over after hitting the Cutting Edge.  After that, Ryback just wasn’t the same.  Finally, Show climbed to the top turnbuckle and hit Ryback with a clothesline.  When both men hit the mat, it sounded like a cannon went off.  Show covered Ryback and got the 1-2-3 at the 20 minute mark.  Big Show retains the North American title.  (28 min total)

Brock Lesnar is in the back and he says he will bring Bray Wyatt a fight like he’s never seen before. He will deliver a hailstorm of fire and Bray will not survive.  Brock says that he will walk out as the World Champion and before the end of the night, he will add the Undisputed Heavyweight title to his list of championships.

Our second match of the night takes us to tag team action with the Miz-fits taking on Pick and the Axe (or Pain in the Ass is you prefer).  The Band makes their way out first and are booed all the way down to the ring.  The Miz-fits (The Fiend and the Miz) come out and the fans pop for them.  They rush the ring and of course, the Band bails.  The Miz-fits tried to get the Band to get in the ring but they just wouldn’t get in.  The Band threatened to leave if the fans wouldn’t shut up.  Finally, it took GM Master Bull to come out and threaten that if the Band didn’t get in the ring, he would fire them on the spot.  Finally, they got in the ring and the match began.  The Band took the match to the Miz-fits and stayed in control for the whole match.  The only issue was they could not get a 3 count on their opponents.  Quick and constant tags from the Miz-fits kept them (relatively) fresh.  The match ends up going to a 30 minute time limit draw.  After the match was declared over, Axe grabbed a chair and blasted both the Fiend and the Miz with it.  He drops the chair and he and Dirk Devon leave the ring.  Man, our fans do NOT like these guys.

We cut to the back where Team Warrior (Super Warrior, the Warrior of Truth and the Scorpion Warrior ) are pacing.  Super Warrior looks to the camera and says “ Here me my warriahs.   Tonight, Team Warriah will go to war with a trio of Normals whose only commonality is the letter A...  My brothers in paint and I were FORGED IN BATTLE and are BONDED BY BELIEF in the WAYS OF THE WARRIOR.  With the Scorpion Warrior and the Warrior of Truth at my side, nothing will stop us as we honor HE who came before…the Ullltamite Warriahhhhhh.  Tonight we prove ourselves to be superior and take the 6 Man Titles from those who are UNWORTHYYYYY!

We go back to the ring for our 3rd match which is for the 6 man tag team titles.  GM Master Bull says that since there are so many participants, this one will be one fall, winner takes all.  First, Team Warrior makes their way to the ring.  The fans pop huge for all of them make their way down.   Next, they are followed out by the champs, the A-Team (Abyss, Antonio Cesaro and ‘the Man’ Austin Aries).  This one went for 19 minutes and saw triple teaming from both teams.  Sting and Abyss started off the match and really beat the snot out of each other.  Towards the end of the match, Team Warrior triple teamed Abyss for 2 minutes.  Aries and Cesaro had been disposed of on the outside.  After the ref cleared Scorpion and Super Warrior from the ring, Truth hit a scissors kick on Abyss. He made the cover.  1….2….3.  Team Warrior has just defeated the A-Team and are now the NEW 6 MAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS.  They celebrate in the ring until the Ascension and Kane came out and stood on the stage.  They did not make a move for the ring but only motioned that they would be taking those titles and soon. (19 min)

There is a short break as a Steel Cage is being set up. This will be for the HWF World title match between Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar.   Finally the cage is up and Brock’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring.  Brock gets in the ring and is pacing back and forth.  He is a man determined.  Next, out comes the World Champion Bray Wyatt.   If Bray loses the title here, he will be forced to put the Undisputed title on the line at the end of the show.  This match is also best of 3 falls. Before the match could begin, Bray pulled out some brass knuckles and hit Brock in the side of the head.  After the bell rang, it was all Bray as Lesnar could not regain his composure.  It only took 4 minutes, a lifting sideslam and Sister Abigail to give Bray the first fall.  Bray owned the second fall that went a lot longer than the last.  Brock just couldn’t recover from that brass knuckle smash Bray cheap-shot him with before the match could begin.  Brock did manage to bust Bray open early but his equilibrium was off and he could not capitalize.  Bray would battle back and then catapulted Brock into the cage busting him open.  Bray made the quick cover and got the 1-2-3.  Now he had to get out of the cage.  He started making his way up the cage but Brock recovered enough to stop him.  Bray pushed him off and then hit an insuguri that connected with Brock’s head and he went down.  Not wanting to waste any more time, Bray went to the cage door and exited.  Bray Wyatt has just defeated Brock Lesnar to retain the HWF World Title.  This means that the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship is NOT on the line tonight.  This did not sit well with GM Hulk Hogan who came out and told Bray that he was not getting off easy.  The Undisputed title would in fact be defended tonight.  Bray picked up a mic.  “I defeated the Beast but because he did not win the World title, it won’t be him.”  Hogan says “You’re right, brother.  However, it is the OTHER World Champion I’m referring to.”  Out comes MW3.  The crowd pops.  Hogan says that MW3 and Donnie B are defending the tag titles tonight and MW3 has agreed to fight a second match and it will be for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.  Bray is not happy.

Back to the interview area and Southern Belle and Fusion Valentine are being interviewed.  When asked about the possibility of one of them losing their jobs, Belle says “Fusion and I have come too far to lose at this stage. Our time is now.”  Fusion promises they will bring 100% and prove that they belong in the Beautiful People.

We go back to the ring and our next match is another tag team match with the Desperados (the Stache and El Chango) taking on ECIII and Rockstar Spud.  Stache and El Chango come out wearing long trenchcoats with their sponsors logos plastered all over them.  They look like walking billboards.  The fans pop for them and they shake the hands of the fans as they head to the ring.  Music hits and out comes Ethan Carter III and Spud.  The fans do not like them and shower them with booing and hissing their entire trek to the ring.  Master Bull comes out and says that he promised that this match would have specialty rules.  He has decided, with some fans he polled, that this would be a Houston Street Fight rules match.  Trash cans, stop signs and a kitchen sink all made their way into the ring during this 21 minute no-holds barred match.  El Chango and the Stache both took turns beating down their opponents.  Towards the end of the match, El Chango hits Spud with a clothesline that took both of them over the top rope.  El Chango then climbed up to the top turnbuckle and launched himself onto Spud and both crashed on the floor.  Back in the ring, ECIII set up for the One Percenter but it got reversed and was tossed to the ropes.  Stache bounced off the ropes and hit the Lasso (clothesline) taking down Ethan.  The Stache makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3 just after the 21 minute mark.  El Chango makes it back in the ring and the Desperados soak in the cheers from the fans before making their way to the back.

World Tag Team Champions Donnie B and MW3 are being interviewed.  MW3 promises that he will give his all in both the tag team title match as well as his match against Bray Wyatt for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.  Donnie B says “Let’s do this.”  Both men shake hands.

We cut to another interview area where Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel and Women’s Champion AJ Lee are participating in a collaborative interview.  They agree to keep it clean and Raquel says “May the best Champion win.”  AJ says just before leaving “Oh, don’t worry; she will.”

We go back to the ring for our women’s tag team match.  Southern Belle and Fusion Valentine are taking on the Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky).  The person who gets pinned will be out of a job and the three remaining people will be the NEW Beautiful People.   During this match, Belle and Valentine had more offensive moves but Love and Sky did more double teaming to make up for that.  At one point, Fusion Valentine grabbed both the heads of Velvet and Angelina and bashed them together.  Angelina fell off the apron and to the floor.  Fusion then dragged Velvet over to her corner and tagged in Belle. Velvet connected with a weak dropkick but Belle hit the Southern Swing.  She made the cover and got the win.   Southern Belle and Fusion Valentine are now part of the Beautiful People and Velvet Sky is now out of a job.  Sky leaves the ring on her own. (17 min)

Bray Wyatt is in the back and he has a mic.  “My good man, MW3.  I have to say that fate that Brock Lesnar met with will also apply to you.  I am afraid that there is no way you are winning MY title tonight.  Also, soon, very soon, I will introduce to the world 2 men I’m taking under my wing.  But tonight, MW3, Sister Abigail has decreed that you are leaving empty handed.”   He then starts laughing uncontrollably.

We go back to the ring for the World Tag Team title match.  First, out comes the Ascension with MJ.  They are booed by the fans.  Next, out comes the champions ‘The Original Big Daddy’ Donnie B and the CSWA World Heavyweight Champion MW3.  GM Hulk Hogan came out and pointed out that the Ascension have had a lot of time limit draws as of late and this match is too important to leave to chance.  He is making this a 60 minute match but is still best of 3 falls.  The first fall is totally owned by the champs.  They beat the living snot out of the Ascension showing exactly why they are the champs.  Konnor and Viktor have never looked so bad in any match to date.  Donnie B gets the first fall in 15 minutes after hitting Konnor with the Lights out brainbuster.  The second fall saw the dominant team of the Ascension rear their ugly heads. 5 minutes in, Konnor pulls MW3 out of the ring and the rams his (MW3) back into the steel post.  He throws MW3 back in and Viktor nails a huge bodyslam to get the next fall.  (6 min).  Now it is time for the 3rd and final fall.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says he is extending this time limit to 60 minutes – just in case.  Donnie B knew his partner was hurt so he took his place in the ring.    The Ascension tore through the champs like wet paper.  Donnie B got injured and was dumped out of the ring.  MW3, having mostly recovered, got into the ring but was double teamed for 3 minutes (who by the way, surprisingly still held his own).  Viktor goes out of the ring and bashes Donnie B’s head into the steel post busting him open.  Bray Wyatt comes out and distracts MW3 which allows Konnor to hit a powerslam on MW3.  Konnor then climbs to the top rope and yells (DIG IT) and hits a flying elbow drop.  Konnor makes the cover and the ref counts 1…2…3.  The Ascension have just won the World Tag Team Titles.  Holy Crap.  The fans start throwing tons of junk into the ring in protest but the Ascension don’t care.  MJ raises their hands and they celebrate in the ring.  Finally they leave and the influx of junk hitting the ring ceases.  MW3 goes out to help his tag team partner who is lying in a pool of blood.  They call for medics who help take Donnie B to the back.

We take a 5 minute break for the cleaning crew to come out and clean the ring.  A video is shown of the history between AJ Lee and Ravishing Raquel.

It is time for the match to determine who will be the Undisputed Women’s Champion – Women’s champion AJ Lee comes out first and then is followed by Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel.  GM Master Bull comes out and says that there is a lot at stake and does not want to see this end on a DQ or countout so he is making this one fall, 60 minute time limit to allow both women to do what they need to.  Fortunately, they did not need the full time limit but used the time they had and blew the roof off.  This had to be one of the best matches of the night with both women giving their all.  Raquel was in the lead (in way of points) at the 17 minute mark but after 45 seconds of being trapped in the Black Widow, it drained her BUT she did NOT quit.  AJ began battling back with renewed passion. AJ hit the Shining Wizard and the ref counted 1…2… KICKOUT.  Amazingly, Raquel somehow managed to kick out to survive, even if only for a few more minutes.  AJ hit it a second time and Raquel kicked out a second time. AJ stood there shaking her head in disbelief.  Suddenly, a female fan who was sitting at ringside (she’s a looker – I wonder how we missed her before) started to call out to AJ.  AJ looked at her but then dismissed her.  AJ hit a cross arm sit out slam and the fan at ringside called out again.  AJ left the ring to find out what this fan wanted.  She was only gone a few seconds but seemingly it was all Raquel needed to recover.  AJ got back in the ring and hit a neckbreaker.  AJ went to the corner and charged but Raquel caught her in mid-stride and hit the Simply Ravishing.  She makes the cover and the ref counts 1…2…3.  Ravishing Raquel has just defeated AJ Lee to win the Women’s title and now she is the UNDISPUTED Women’s Champion.  Raquel collapses in the ring and her husband ‘The Elitist’ Reid Rothchild and the other members of Prestige Inc. hit the ring and congratulate Raquel.  Reid raises Raquel’s arm and then plants a big ol’ kiss on her.  Prestige Inc. all leave the ring together.  The fans are really behind Raquel.  We never did find out who that fan was.

MW3 is being interviewed minus Donnie B who is still being attended to by medical.  MW3 says they put up a hell of a fight and the Ascension were just too much.  However, he and Donnie B will be seeking a return match in the future and when the time comes, they will be prepared.  However, tonight, he has a chance to win the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.  “I’m not really happy that I just went through hell and have to wrestle again after you had 90 minutes to rest but as the CSWA World Champion, I don’t back down from any challenge.  I’m gonna bring what I got; you bring what you’ve got; roll the dice and we’ll see what happens.”

GM Hulk Hogan comes out and introduces CSWA World Champion MW3 who makes his way to the ring.  GM Master Bull then comes out and introduces the (still) HWF World Champion – the man who defeated the beast – and the current Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt.  Master Bull says that this will be a Lights Out rules match.  With the Undisputed title, it is one fall, winner takes all.  MW3 put up a solid show against Bray but the damage he took from his earlier match against the Ascension took its toll.   As the match continued, Bray took MW3 out of the ring and hit a piledriver on the exposed concrete.  MW3’s offense ended pretty much after that.  Bray pulled MW3 back into the ring and hit Sister Abigail for the win.  Bray Wyatt retains the Undisputed Heavyweight title.

After the match, Kurt Angle’s music hits and he runs down to the ring.  He goes right by Wyatt and starts stomping on MW3.  He picks him up and hits 3 German suplexes followed by the Angle Slam.  Kurt picks up the CSWA World title and holds it over his head.  Kurt asks for a mic.  “I’ve done everything by the book and look where it got me…absolutely nowhere.  I stood up for the fans and where did it get me…absolutely nowhere.  Now, it is my turn.   This is all about ME.  My 3 I’s are now I, I, and I.  This schmuck doesn’t deserve to be World Champion.  I will get MY title back.”  He turns and then kicks and stomps on MW3 until he falls out of the ring.  “I am the Olympic Gold Medalist.  I will be World Champion again.  From this day forth, I will only align myself with people who are like me...all about the ‘me’.  Here are two of those guy now.”  Out comes John Cena and the Caped Crusader.  The fans boo.  Kurt drops the mic and the CSWA World title and leaves the ring.  The show then comes to an end.

Thanks for reading.  Be sure to stay tuned as there will be some serious fallout from this show.
