HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 02.03

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We wanted to post first and foremost what the Warzone PPV is looking like as of right now.  The card is subject to change and/or additional matches can be added.

Warzone PPV
Donnie B & MW3 vs the Ascension for the World Tag Team titles
Bray Wyatt vs Brock Lesnar for the HWF World Title
The Warriors vs the A-team for the 6 man tag team titles
Women’s Champion AJ Lee vs Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel with both titles on the line.
The Desperados vs ECIII and Rockstar Spud
The Shield vs Prestige Inc.
Hardcore champ Mark Henry vs Big Show (NA champ)
Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt vs ???
Southern Belle and Fusion Valentine vs ???
The Miz-fits vs ???

Our show begins with the Jones Boys - #ConanJones and Casey Jones taking on Xavier Woods and Tyson Kidd.  As part of what was supposed to be a pep talk, CSWA World Champion MW3 agreed to give #ConanJones a non-title match if he and Casey win tonight.  That must have been the motivation he needed as #did all the fighting himself…for a whopping 3 minutes.  # got Xavier locked into a guillotine choke and he got him to tap out.  Casey seemed happy he didn’t have to break a sweat.  I guess this means #ConanJones will be meeting the World Champion at some time.

Bo Dallas is in the back and he is pissed off that the Super Warrior didn’t pick the ‘Bo-lieve Warrior’ to be part of his team.  He says that he wants SW in the ring.  He signs off with “Bo-lieve that, bitch!”

We head to the ring for our next match which has Sami Zayn and Roderick Strong taking on Ethan Carter III and Rockstar Spud.  Spud and ECIII owned the match almost entirely at got the win after Spud hit Sami Zayn with a somersault suicide dive for the 1-2-3. (27 min)  After the match, ECIII got on the mic and said that the same thing will happen to the Desperados at the PPV.  They are interrupted by El Chango and the Stache who come out and say that the outcome will be different as the Desperados will be the ones walking out victorious.  Master Bull comes out and says that their match at the PPV will be a specialty match but what type won’t be disclosed until the PPV.

Southern Belle and Fusion Valentine are talking backstage when they are approached by the Beautiful People Velvet Sky and Angelina Love.  Sky offers them the chance to become something greater than they are today and that is to join the Beautiful People but there is a catch.  There can be a maximum of 3.  Angelina chimes in and says that the 4 of them will meet at the PPV but whomever is pinned must quit wrestling.  Belle and Valentine accept the terms.

We go back to the ring where the “woo-woo” warrior Zach Ryder is standing in the ring.  He says that he was picked by the Warriors but then was disrespected by Bray Wyatt. Since Wyatt is not here tonight, he wants the man who took his “spot” – the Scorpion Warrior.  Sting makes his way out.  Ryder attacks him and for 6 minutes, he brings the fight to the Scorpion Warrior.  However, it was a scorpion death drop that changed the tide of the match and then it was all Sting.  The end came after Sting hit Zack Ryder with a flying dropkick off the ropes and covered him for the 1-2-3.  The Scorpion Warrior is victorious.  (29 min)

We head to the back again where John Cena is being interviewed.  He is asked about his actions against Dolph Ziggler.  Cena says he got caught up in the moment and lost his cool.  He said that at the next show, he would get in the ring, call out Ziggler and apologize to him in front of the wrestling world.

Back to the ring, we are ready for the next match.  The Bo-Lieve Warrior Bo Dallas makes his way out first and is followed by the Super Warrior. This was a relatively short match (5 min) that ended after Bo got counted out.  Afterwards, SW got on the mic and said that Bo did not have the heart of a warrior and that is why he was not chosen.  Getting counted out after only 5 minutes shows he does not have what it takes to run with the Warriors.  Bo Dallas promises that Super Warrior has not seen the last of him.

Brock Lesnar is pacing in the back as he prepares for his match against Kurt Angle.  Brock says that Angle will be just another victim on his way to becoming the HWF World Champion.  Master Bull walks over and reminds us that whoever wins the match – Lesnar or Angle – MUST be a World Champion in order to get a shot at the Undisputed Heavyweight Title.  Bull says that if Angle gets the win, he will have to wrestle MW3 again with the title on the line or he can’t have an Undisputed title shot.  Brock gets in his face and says no one has to worry about that and leaves.  Master Bull does an over-the-top visual gulp (ala Vince McMahon).

Somewhat familiar music hits and it’s…OMG…the Pick and the Axe have returned and they are accompanied by Cactus Jackie Devon.  The trio make their way to the ring.  Dirk Devon gets on the mic and says that he got “bizzay” while in England and winks at Cactus Jackie.  She giggles a bit.  The Axe says that he and Dirk are back and they are going to pick up where they left off and that is dominating all the teams until they become the World Tag Team Champions.  GM Master Bull comes out and welcomes them all back.  He says that they will get their first match tonight, right now against this team.  Music hits and out comes the Ascension.  Jackie scurries out of the ring.  Talk about ring rust.   Pain in the Ass looked horrible.  They must have sat around eating Girl Scout cookies or something instead of hitting the gym.  In what was a massacre, the Ascension got the win after Viktor hits the Fade to Black and then pinned the Axe with a side headlock.  The Ascension leave and Pick and the Axe slowly make their way to the back.  They took soooo much time that the next team  - the Miz-fits were already making their way down for their match.  The Fiend and the Miz laughed at PitA as they walked by and Axe did not appreciate it.  He and Dirk then attacked the Miz-fits dropping them both with their specialty moves.  Dirk asked “who’s laughing now” and they walk off.  I guess the Miz-fit’s match is not happening now.

In the back, Cactus Jackie was waiting on her man to come back and she is approached by Southern Belle.  Belle congratulates her on her expecting a baby and says that she is happy for her.  Jackie turns and asks “who the hell do you think you are?   I don’t know you; get out of my face.”  Belle is taken aback and turns to walk away.  Jackie then attacks her and begins pounding on Belle.  Jackie then removes the pillow she’s had under her blouse – WAIT, was she faking the pregnancy all along???  Jackie smacks Bell with it a few times (ok, it’s a pillow – how much damage is that going to do?) and then walks away laughing.  She says “All of you sheep are so gullible.”

It is time for the main event.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says that a match of this caliber should be a PPV headliner but instead, tonight’s crowd gets the treat.  He wants the match to be ‘fair and square’ so Hogan appoints the Caped Crusader as the special guest referee.  CC makes his way down to a decent pop.  Kurt Angle comes out next and is followed by Brock Lesnar.  Both men are former NCAA champions and this is expected to be a solid match.  The two go right at it and neither give an inch.  Kurt hits the Angle Slam but is unable to capitalize on it.  Brock hits the F-5 but Angle kicks out too.  Towards the end of the match, Kurt asked CC to just let them fight and CC goes to sit on the top turnbuckle.  Brock ends up throwing Angle into the corner where CC is sitting and they collide and CC falls out of the ring.  A new ref runs down to take his place.  A disoriented Kurt turns around and eats a power clothesline.  Brock makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Brock will receive a shot at the Undisputed Heavyweight title but ONLY if he defeats Bray for the HWF title first.  Medics come out to check on the Caped Crusader who seems to be ok but is helped to the back.

The Warzone PPV, taking place on 2/14 at NRG Stadium at Reliant Park in Houston, TX, is officially sold out.  It is expected that at the end of that show, our GM’s will be revealing the location for April’s Wrestlemania PPV.  Stay Tuned.
