HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2017 #545

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We are here in Las Vegas, NV- the home of HCW superstar The Masked Gentleman.  Speaking of which, the show begins with his vignette.

*The Camera shows a Large castle, in Las Vegas. Its the Excalibur Hotel. Inside the scene shows a royal court wedding chapel, which has a royal theme, full of Jester's, Knights, and other well found royalty, and on the throne two seats for a worthy King and Queen. Enters MG and Miss Samantha, to Royal fanfare as they make their way to the thrones and sit down on them, Then a couple of servants proceed to put crowns upon Miss Samantha and MG's heads. As the Fanfare ceases MG looks around and then decides that maybe he should speak. "Ye Royal Servants of the #BlackNBlue Crew listen to my words. I proclaim that I your KIng MG Is the mightiest in the land. I rule with an Iron thumb, and expect that my soldiers to fight with me in this everlasting cause to prevent thieves, murderers, and face it losers like some of the heathen that run around HCW to bow down to your ruler! Now let it be known that there are frauds that intimidate others here in HCW, frauds that claim that they are "Real Kings" like one known as King CJ, do not be fooled by this fraud. King CJ is mentally unbalanced as an individual. FEAR NOT People of this great land *Chuckles as he really didn’t mean what he just said* I will Slay this Dragon breathed Idiot. His mouth will be slain to remain shut upon his ROyal Thrashing at the hands of your King, KING MG! *King MG and Miss Samantha look at each other and rise from their thrones to royal fanfare as they make their way to exit the scene.*

As soon as that ends, the Omegatron is interrupted by what appears to be a live feed .... as the camera pans around the royal suite you here a voice stating "…and the royal penis is washed" and it seems to be someone who very much resembles ms samantha!!!!  .....Thank you S.....Ohhhhhhh Mg or is it rowdy rutor tutor....the great pretender san louis obispo whogan....and now you wanna be the king???  Mg the great gimmick stealer...the lamest promo cutter in all of sports entertainment... the best thing about you is ms samantha...and believe me she KNOWS how to treat a king ahahahahahaha... while your busy rounding up a court of goons and croonies the real king is busy getting the royal treatment” (the camera pans around and there are about a half a dozen scantily clad women standing around).... “but none the less... make your list.... check it twice....and realize that  it has already been spoken and max confirms ... you will face the king not once not twice.. but 3 times in the squared circle... there will be blood...and when its all said and done you will be silenced!!!  The #King is out.” (CJ drops the mic)

Pyro goes off and our sold out show kicks off.  The first match of the evening will be a title match with the TV title on the line.  The challenger, Handsome Hernandez comes out first and is booed as he makes his way down to the ring.  Next, the TV champion ScooterJ comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd.  He makes his way down to the ring with the title held high over his head.  He walks up to Hernandez and holds the title right in his face.  Hernandez shoves him and this one starts right off.  Hernandez looked incredibly strong as ScooterJ was skating by thinking it was going to be a cakewalk…it wasn’t.  Hernandez owned the match and even ScooterJ could see the writing on the wall.  He tried to get counted out a few times but Hernandez kept bringing him back in.  Just when the time limit was about to expire and the champ thought he’d walk out by the skin of his teeth, Hernandez hits the ropes and nails him with a running SI superkick.  The Handsome one makes the cover and gets the 1…2…3!  Handsome Hernandez has just won the TV title.  ScooterJ is beside himself.  Hernandez is handed the title and he goes to leave but ScooterJ is on the mic and demands a rematch.  Hernandez is given a mic and he says he will but it won’t be tonight.  Hernandez says there will be a supershow coming up and at that show, he’ll give ScooterJ his rematch.  He hands the mic off and walks to the back leaving ScooterJ in the ring stewing before departing.  (19 min)

Back in GM Max McGillicutty’s office, Rad Gumbo says that before the Axe should get another shot, he wants his so he challenges the Axe for his spot.  Axe walks in overhearing his name mentioned and accepts but says when defeats Gumbo, he gets his title shot and Rad is out of the top 10.  Rad agrees and the two men sign a contract.

We head to the ring for our next match.  MJ comes out first with ‘the Ragin Cajun’ Rad Gumbo and they are booed as they head to the ring.  The Axe comes out and the reception he gets is ice cold.  The fans are not happy he turned to the ‘dark side’ and turned his back on them.  The ref announces that this will be a no DQ match as Max wants to see a winner.  Right as the bell rang, Axe hurled Rad out of the ring but MJ jumped in the ring and clocked the Axe with a chair.  Rad was right back in and locked in the Onion twist (Muta lock).  The ref saw that Axe was out and rang the bell.  Rad Gumbo wins the match in 30 seconds via submission and now is next in line for a World Title shot.  Rad and MJ leave while Axe is helped out of the ring.  Axe is laughed at by the fans and somehow he manages to flip them off.  (30 seconds)

In the interview area, Crocodile Hunter addresses the Savior’s attack calling him a coward for “running away”.  “Savior, you coward…running away with your tail tucked between your legs…listen, if you want a match with me, just say it.  Since I believe actions speak louder than words, we will settle this in the ring.”

We head to the ring and we’ve got a Ladies Fatal Four Way with the person pinned out of the Ladies title contention.  First, Felicia Cummings makes her way out.  She is then followed by Missy Chick and Jazz Emmett.  Finally, the fourth member – The Duchess – makes her way to the ring.  The bell rings immediately and this one is off with a bang.  Both Jazz and the Duchess made the biggest impact in the ring but were tagged out just when they started getting some offense going.  Finally, Jazz got tired of being blind tagged in and just locked in the Bank Statement crossface on Missy.  Jazz somehow turned it into a pin and scored the 3 count.  Jazz wins the match, moves up in the rankings and Missy is now out of contention.  (14 ½ min)

MG Walks by Max along with Miss Samantha, "MAX! you make sure that Cage Match is open on top......no reason why, just make sure it happens, GOT IT?!" MG Looks at Miss Samantha and smiles at her, as they walk off.  Editors (Max) note:  Hey dufus, cages are already open on top.

We got back to the ring for our next match.  First, the challenger the Crocodile Hunter comes out to a big pop.  Next, Master Bull comes out and is booed.  He tells the fans to “Shut their pie holes and sit down while a REAL champion makes his way to the ring”. The Elitist Reid Rothchild comes out and the booing intensifies.  He ignores the fans makes his way to the ring.  He doesn’t wait for the bell and goes right after Croc.  Reid hits a spinnarooni and Croc hits some knife edge chops.  Reid nails a Rothchild Stunner but Croc recovers and bodyslams Reid before tossing him from the ring.  Master Bull then yelled at the ref and while the ref was distracted, the Savior ran down to the ring with a kendo stick and WHACKED Croc in the knee with it.  He then took off before the ref would see anything.  Reid gets back in the ring and immediately locks in the Figure Four Reid Lock.  Croc screams in pain but with nowhere to go, he taps out.  Reid retains his title in quick fashion.  He showboats with the title before he and Master Bull leave.  The Crocodile Hunter is helped out of the ring.  (3 min)

Backstage, MG cuts another promo “Victory will be sweet once I put the #HagRag to pasture.  No third match will be needed as I’ll bury this nobody and will stand victorious as the NEW King of HCW.”  MG and Miss Samantha head to the ring.

It is time for our MAIN Event.  The steel cage is lowered to the ring as the Masked Gentleman and his manager Miss Samantha head to the ring.  MG is calm, cool and collected and doesn’t seem to fear the steel structure.  Music hits and out comes the Hashtag King CJ.  CJ tries to enter the ring but MG pulls the door closed and then begs CJ to enter.  CJ then climbs the cage and goes over the top.  He drops down just as Miss Samantha left the ring.  The door is locked and the match can begin.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2017 #544

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Well, last show was a real doozy with seeing “MG Unmasked” to the first of three battles between the King of HCW CJ and his nemesis the Masked Gentleman and a main event that saw the Axe go to the “dark side” because he didn’t get what he was looking for.  Such is life.  For today’s show, we are happy to say that neither King CJ nor MG will be here.  It seem that it took longer than expected to get CJ freed from the ticket dispenser and his glue encrusted cocoon. .  Once he finally got cleaned up, he didn’t look much different that this…

MG is not here because he’s getting prepared for the cage match at the next show.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that HCW is going on the road again and the next show will take place in Las Vegas, NV.  After a bit of pomp and circumstance, the show kicks off with our first match of the evening.

Match #1:  Bishop Ripley makes his way down to the ring (he’s moving a little robotic) to a mixed reaction from the fans.  His opponent Adam Jameson comes out to a much bigger welcome.  Right off the bat though, AJ underestimated his opponent and Bishop used that to control almost the entire match.   After AJ neutralized a superkick, Bishop came back with a flurry of moves starting with a Reverse Frankensteiner (went for the pin but AJ kicked out at 1), a Tiger Suplex (went for the pin but got a 2 count) and finally hits the British Airways and this time AJ’s shoulders stayed down for the full 3 count.  Bishop Ripley gets the win.  (13 min)

Backstage, the Ragin Cajun Rad Gumbo is here with his manager MJ and he says that he will continue to move up in the top 10 until he is the #1 contender to the World Champ and then will TAKE that belt as his own.

Match #2:  We head back to the ring for our Women’s match.  First, fan favorite El Gato Negro comes out to a good pop from the crowd.  Next, Starr Vixen comes out and she too is welcomed with open arms.  The two meet in the ring and shake hands before the match begins.  Right off the bat, El Gato tossed Starr into the corner and charged but Starr moved and El Gato nailed the ringpost with her arm.  Starr drops her with a clothesline and then immediately locks in a scissored armbar.  El Gato taps almost immediately.  This one ends fast in just 2 minutes via submission.  After the match, Starr helped El Gato to the back to look at that arm.

Backstage, Desperado member El Chango says that tonight, he gets a shot at the US title held by Texas Wildfire.  Tonight he proves that he is not only a tag team champ but a singles champ also once he wins the title.

Match #3:  We head back to the ring as Billy Robbins makes his way out to a good pop.  Next, Dude USA Mick Rude comes out to an OK reception.  This was another very quick match as Mick hit Billy with an elbow smash just above his eye which opened a cut.  He then locked in the Surfboard and Billy, blinded by the blood flowing down his face, tapped out.  The cut looked nasty and Mick apologized after the match but medics took care to get Billy to the back quickly.  (2 min)

Max states that with the last two matches going a whopping total of 4 minutes combined, he will add another match to the card tonight with Rad Gumbo taking on Jerry Saunders.  If Saunders wins, he retains his spot in the lineup. However, if Rad wins, he is catapulted to the top of the leaderboard.

Turns out that Phat Sol has been off the show for a bit as he and his wife just welcomed a baby.  Congrats (didn’t know he was married).

Match #4:  The Ragin Cajun Rad Gumbo and his manager MJ make their way out and they are booed pretty heavily.  Gumbo yells at the fans that the title is now in sight.  Jerry Saunders comes out next and the fans don’t care for him either (he’s wearing a shirt that reads “I’m here to wrestle” on the front and “Not make friends” on the back).  Both start off by nullifying each other’s moves and we have a staredown going on in the ring.  Rad goes over for some “advice” and he comes back and blasts Jerry with a foreign object.  Rad goes on the offensive but Jerry is quick to battle back.  Both men end up going over the top rope and land hard on the floor.  MJ is quick to help Rad back up. Jerry barely makes it back in time.  After peppering Rad with lefts and rights, he hits the ropes going for a Frankensteiner but Rad reverses it and traps him in the Onion Lock (Muta Lock).  Jerry ends up tapping out.  Rad Gumbo wins the match and skyrockets to the top of the list.  (7 min)

Drew makes an appearance via the Omegatron calling the Axe a coward for attacking him like he did.  He says that if he wants another shot at him, he’s all game.

Match #5:  Angry Jack Lawson storms down to the ring and he is booed.  He hollers back at the fans with obscenities (the foul mouthed jerk).  Next, Outback Oscar makes his way down and the fans pop huge for the man from Australia.  Oscar was dominating his opponent and Jack didn’t care for that so he hurled Oscar out of the ring and followed.  He then began ramming Oscar into the steps and whipping him into the ringside barrier.  He finally rolled back into the ring just as the ref counted to 10.   He awards the match to Jack as a result of a countout.  (6 ½ min)

Backstage, the Crocodile Hunter is playing a game (Grand Theft or something like that) on his PS-whatever.  He is whooping and hollering as he blows things up and “kills” things off.  The Savior walks by and thinks this poor deluded soul doesn’t understand the “evil” he is involved in.  The Savior then attacks the Crocodile Hunter beating him down.  He destroys the game console for no other reason except saying that he needs to be “saved” and will be shown the “TRUE way” (which he now says will be his canon).

Match #6: In a rare singles match, one half of the Tag Team Champs Pete the PUN-isher comes out for his match.  He is accompanied by his tag team partner Magnum Kone & their manager the Ambassador.  By the way they acted, you could tell they were back in unstable territory.  The Ambassador kept pleading for them to “hold it together”.  Sonic Blade makes his way out and receives a huge pop from the crowd.   Magnum is off chatting with the fans and that pisses Pete off.  Sonic starts off like a BOOM and begins to dismantle Pete.  Pete hollers for Magnum to do something.  Finally, Magnum climbs into the ring and the ref is questioning what is going on.  Magnum walks up to Pete and SOCKS him in the mouth knocking him down.  The ref has the bell rung and says that he had to disqualify Sonic Blade for outside interference.  Magnum grabbed his title and left as Pete (rubbing his jaw) and the Ambassador were left in the ring.  (6 ½ min)

For the first time ever, an advertisement is run for something NOT HCW related.  An ad runs promoting a game for wrestling fans called Pro Wrestling Superstar.  “Pro Wrestling Superstar is a unique simulation of professional wrestling where you're the promoter!  All the action of live matches right on your PC!

It is time for our Main Event.  First, the challenger Desperado member El Chango comes out accompanied by his tag team partner Leon Teremoto.  The music changes and out comes the US Champion Texas Wildfire.  The crowd pops and it is deafening.  The champ controlled the match for the first 9 minutes but after El Chango caught him with a shooting star press, the challenger took over.  El Chango hit the champ with everything in his arsenal but TW wouldn’t stay down.  18 minutes in, Leon tried to “assist” and ended up getting thrown out from ringside.  The challenger kept the pressure on and didn’t let up.  27 minutes in, El Chango tries to toss TW from the ring but it’s reversed and TW hits El Chango with a bionic elbow.  He then followed it up with the Hangman Clothesline and with a hook of the leg, got the 1-2-3.  Texas Wildfire retains his belt in this very hard fought match.  (28 min)

That’s all for this show.  Sunday’s show will be taking place in Las Vegas, NV. See you there.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2017 #543

Today's show is coming to you one day early as to not compete with the “Big Game”

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Tonight, the Masked Gentleman takes on King CJ in their first of three battles with tonight’s being a lumberjack match.  King CJ did tell us he had a surprise in store for his masked opponent and the whole world will get to see it.

It’s time for our first match.  Hangman #3 makes his way down to the ring to booing from the fans.  Ant Graham appears and he’s got Dr. Red Fang in tow.  “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE!” he screams as they head to the ring.  The fans don’t seem to care for either but I think secretly they want to see the good Dr. get hung.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says he’s mixing this one up and making it a no DQ match.  Hangman #3 immediately went on the offensive but Fang met him with the same level of ferociousness.  Dr. Red Fang nailed Hangman #3 with a skull crusher but Ant told him NOT to go for the pin. Hangman #3 kicked Fang in the ribs but Fang immediately locked in the Spider Weblock.  H3 had nowhere to go so he tapped out in the middle of the ring.  Dr. Red Fang gets the submission win.  Ant joins him in the ring and they celebrate briefly before leaving.  (6 min)

A limo pulls up backstage and it’s the World Champion Drew the Canadian Love Machine.  Drew is intercepted by a reporter who asks why he’s at the show tonight.  Drew says that he’s agreed to defend the World title against a man who never got his rematch – the Axe.  He says he’s looking forward to meeting the Axe in the ring and may the best man win.

We go back to the ring for our next match.  Creepy music plays and out comes Mason the Mangler.  The music changes and out comes Ivan Dragovich.  Ivan high-fives the fans as he makes his way to the ring.  Mason takes control of the match for the first 10 minutes but after Ivan reversed a piledriver attempt, things started going the Russian’s way.  Ivan began taking the fight to the Mangler and nailed a spinning heel kick.  He went for the pin but only got a two count.  The 5th Column then came out and proceeded to walk to the ring.  Mason then hit Ivan with a  low blow and went to the top rope to hit something but Ivan made it to the ropes, hit them and Mason crotched himself on the top turnbuckle before falling into the ring.  The bell then rang bringing this one to a time limit draw.  The 5th Column (Baron von Blood, Oswald Zimmerman & Karl Braun) got into the ring and surrounded Ivan.  Just then, Ivan’s tag team partners Wendell Hammerschimdt and Otto Ruthless hit the ring and we have a standoff.  Refs and shirts from the back came out to separate the two teams.  The 6 Man trophy holders were the first to back off.  Ivan celebrated with his teammates before they finally left.  (20 min for the match; 5 for the segment)  However, Otto remained in the ring as his match was up next.

Otto Ruthless waited in the ring until his opponent Superquake Ferguson came out.  Ruthless was relentless in going toe to toe with the man that stood almost 2 feet taller than he is.  He held his own until, sneaking in the crowd, were the members of the 5th Column.  At one point, Superquake tossed Otto into the crowd and then climbed back into the ring.  The 5th Column then attacked Otto beating him down but took off after Ivan and Wendell ran back down, hopped the railing and chased the 5th Column out of the building.  Unfortunately, Otto was not able to make it back into the ring and he ended up getting counted out.  Superquake wins this one via CO decision.  (8 ½ min)

The Desperados (El Chango & Leon Teremoto) are backstage and say that they are tired of the champs ducking them and not giving them the rematch they deserve.  Leon says that tonight, they challenge the Ryzing Storm for their spot and once they win this one, they will be solidified as the #1 contenders and the champs will have to grant them another match.

The Desperados come out first to challenge the Ryzing Storm for their placement in the top 10.  Next, Travis “Dark Storm” Ryzing and his brother Terra Ryzing come out to booing from the crowd.  GM Max comes out and tells both teams they have 20 minutes to get this done.  If this one ends in a draw, both teams are out of the running.  The Ryzing Storm had more to lose in this one and really went on the offensive and for 6 minutes, they had control until double teaming by the Desperados changed the pace of the match.  Leon remained in the ring and locked in a armbar scissors lock on Terra and used that to pin him.  The Desperados get the win and are back in the top 10.  (9 min)

Backstage at the curtain, the Masked Gentleman is standing there with Miss Samantha.  CJ walks by and says nothing.  “HAH!” MG shouted…“I shut the #HagRag up! HAH!  Whatssmatter HagRag?  Got nuttin else to say?”  CJ gives him the “stone cold salute” and grabs a poster covered in a cloth and a tripod and heads towards the ring.  MG heads back into his dressing room.   King CJ stops, sets the stuff down and quietly runs over and puts a chair under the door knob of MG’s dressing room.  He then grabs his stuff and heads down to the ring snickering all the way to the ring.

CJ comes out with a poster (covered with a cloth) and a tripod.  He sets it up in the ring and tells the world that even though MG tried to bribe him not to show this, he was going to do it anyway.  For the world to see…The Masked Gentleman…unmasked!   He points to the Omegatron:

CJ:  Ok, ok, just kidding…this guy is from Goonies.  The real masked moron is this one here:

Woah..talk about UUUUUUUUUUUUGly but even this alien mix is better than what’s to come…

Ha ha, no, sorry that is spawn.,.hey you guys back stage…ok..for REAL this time…

(Backstage, MG is trying to get out of his dressing room but the door is blocked.  He begins banging on it in earnest.)

Ha ha…must have been MG on the toilet…ha ha…ok, for really real this time…(he unveils the poster he brought to the ring)

The fans get a good laugh.  (Backstage, MG finally gets out of his dressing room and heads towards the stage).  King CJ then pulled out some markers and began modifying it saying that this is how he really looks:

King CJ gets a good laugh and says he has one last thing to show from the Omegatron…someone who will laugh at MG with him:

Wait, MG HAS TALENT?

King CJ laughs as the Masked Gentleman and Miss Samantha storm down to the ring.  King CJ looks around and with a “what…me?” look on his face, exited the ring to let MG stew in the ring.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and is trying his best not to laugh.  Max directs the HCW Superstars to surround the ring so they can get this First of Three underway.

MG vs King CJ:  Match 1 – Lumberjack strap match.  King CJ started off strong nailing a Log Splitting Legdrop with assistance from Lumberjack #8 (Super Shockmaster).  MG shook it off and nailed a piledriver.  CJ beat down on MG for a few minutes before hurling him out of the ring but MG was back in quickly before any harm can be done.  MG nails a superplex and goes for a pin but only gets a two count.  This time, MG hurls CJ out of the ring and the 5th Column all attacked him but he actually fought them off and returned to the ring.  Just as he enters, MG hits him with a Welcome Mat but only gets a 2 count.  A bit more back and forth and MG nails a powerslam for a 2 count.  CJ then gets assistance from Lumberjacks 1, 2 and 7 (Muscles Trio) and lays into MG with Paul Bunyan boot stomps.   CJ then locked in the Guillotine choke but MG made it to the ropes.  MG shakes it off and gets help from the Muscles Trio who assist MG with the Paul Bunyan Boot stomps (the crowd began to boo them but they turned and did the Booty-O dance to get the fans to like them again) and MG went for another pin but CJ kicked out.  Both men then tumble out of the ring and are both attacked by surrounding lumberjacks and both made it back in pretty fast.  CJ drops MG with a hangman’s DDT.  MG battles back and hits a piledriver but can’t make the cover.  CJ nails a superplex but the Super Shockmaster tried to attack MG but it backfired and MG nailed the Log Splitting Legdrop.  MG yelled thanks to SS which just pissed him off.  MG nails CJ with a powerslam.  CJ goes for flying dropkicks but MG reverses it and with help from lumberjacks 1 & 4 (Muscles Thorpe and the Savior), he nearly decapitates CJ with a woodcutter clothesline.  Miss Samantha then throws a ticket dispenser into the ring to MG.  He quickly empties the tickets and begins to wrap CJ in them.  Miss Samantha then throws what appears to be quick drying glue to MG who pours it on the tickets solidifying them almost immediately. MG stood over King CJ as he struggled (but couldn’t break out) against his bonds.  MG put a foot on him and the ref counted 1…2…3.  The Masked Gentleman wins this one and laughs at CJ.  He then takes the picture of him “unmasked” and stomps a hole into it.   MG and Miss Samantha leave the ring.  Refs came from the back to help CJ but they couldn’t get the stuff off him.  They helped him to the back.  (17 min)

There is a short break as the crew comes out from the back to replace the mat covering as it had dried glue all over it and it presented a hazard.

Finally, it’s time for the Main Event.  First, the challenger the Axe makes his way to the ring and high-fives some of the fans and quickly enters the ring.  Next, the World Champion Drew the Canadian Love Machine comes out and gets a huge pop from the crowd.  Axe is in the ring and is pacing like a caged animal.  Drew enters and both men shake hands.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that they have plenty of time left so this match will be a best of 3 falls 60 minute time limit match.  Axe goes right on the offensive dropping Drew with the Axe.  Drew battles right back and nails a Lover Bomb and goes for the pin but Axe kicks out at two.  After a bit of back and forth, Drew goes for a superkick but Axe reverses it and hurls Drew out of the ring.  He got back in pretty quick but was holding his lower back.  Axe, sensing weakness (like blood in the water), locked Drew in a bearhug and squeezed the breath right out of Drew.  He had no choice but to tap.  Axe drops him and wins the first fall in 6 minutes.   The second fall begins and this time Drew owned the Axe however Axe wasn’t going down without a fight and fight he did.  Drew ends up needing 14 minutes to get the pin after hitting an arm drag take down that he turned into a pin attempt.  Time expired:  20 minutes…40 remaining.  With one win each, it’s time for the 3rd and final fall.  The first 10 minutes of the match was owned by Drew but after getting bodyslammed on the floor, Axe took over and had several pin attempts all of which Drew kicked out of.  At the 29 minute mark, Axe and Drew were fighting on the floor.  Axe hurled Drew into the steel steps and then bodyslammed him on them.  He almost didn’t hear the count being made and rolled back into the ring hoping to break the count but the ref counted to 10 and called the match.  Axe said he should be given the title but the ref said that the belt does not change hands on a countout decision and awards the match but not the belt to the Axe. Axe gets pissed off and threatens the ref.  Instead, he goes out of the ring and continues the assault on Drew.  After whipping him into the post, steps and ringside barrier, he dragged Drew back into the ring and nailed him with the Axe.  He made the cover but the ref said the match was over.  Axe slapped his hand to the mat three times and called himself the NEW champion.  He tried to forcibly take the belt from the ref but somehow the ref got it away from him.  Axe stormed out of the ring and the fans didn’t care for his brutish change in attitude but he ended up flipping them all off.  Axe leaves in a huff while the ref calls for help from the back to tend to Drew.

With that, the show comes to an end.  Be sure to tune in as I’m sure there will be fallout from the Axe’s “turn” to the darkside.  (50 minutes total for the falls; 10 minutes for the aftermath).

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2017 #542

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  After taking a show off, both the Hashtag King CJ and the Masked Gentleman each had words for each other.  Let’s get that out of the way now so we can begin our show.

CJ
“Ohhhhh did i touch a nerve... is that fear i hear in your voice.... or did reality just kick in that youve somehow some way won a few matches got a little gold and now common sense has kicked in and you realize you actually have to perform in the ring...and after you lose it all and miss samantha gets a taste of…well, my royal scepter…your gonna realize your not half the man you think you are.....As you can see the hashtag....the king...#CJ is not impressed or intimated by the masked homo....and is actually looking forward to taking everything the mangaloid chimp has...”

Masked Gentleman
“Pfft, bring it. I am not scared nor worried, King CJ is ugly, so Miss Samantha will not even go with him...in fact she might bring her beauty products with her...*MG Whispers into Miss Samantha's ear, and she nods and walks off to go ...ummm....do something...*All the names, the masked mistress, the masked homo, masked gimp, pfft, I will just add tallies to how many times I heard those names thrown at me from the arena I fought in before I came to HCW, nothing new I haven’t heard, now they are coming from a #DishRag Queen.  Pfft, I had craps that were more of a fight than you pal, you have NOTHING that I am worried about. Miss Samantha and I are quite comfortable in accepting your challenge, you thought it would scare me away, pfft, when I go to the arena I have to fend off guard dogs in leashes, so a Lumberjack Strap match is nothing...then I have to battle within fences with the riff raff like yourself in these cages of fences, so a Steel Cage is nothing to me, and the 3rd match> Max has got NOTHING That I cannot handle, so worried am I? Pfft...just another day for MG."

With their war of words out of the way, our show can begin.

Match #1:  Kicking off the show today is a tag team match.  First, the newest team to our roster…the Mexicali Flyers (El Dragon Insano & Tornado en Fuego) make their way out first to a deafening pop.  Next, the Ambassador comes out and introduces the World Tag Team Champions Pete the PUN-isher and the King of Cones Magnum Kone who come out with their belts but those titles, as the Ambassador is quick to remind us, are not on the line today.  He leads the champs to the ring amidst the booing from the crowd.  The match starts off with Magnum taking on El Dragon Insano.  For 20 minutes, both teams stayed relatively even.  Although the Ambassador tried to get involved a few times, it had minimal impact.  We join the match at the 21 minute mark.

The Ambassador is pissed on the outside of the ring and he quickly escorts his charges to the back.  The Mexicali Flyers are now in line for a tag team title shot.  They celebrate with the fans before leaving.  (23 min)

US Champion Texas Wildfire arrives and is told he’s in action tonight but his title is not on the line.  He asks who his opponent is and is told Canada’s own The Savior.  He says OK and heads to his dressing room to get ready.

Match #2:  We go back to the ring for our next match.   Newcomer Ice Dagger makes his way down to booing from the fans to music called “Ice Dagger Baby” (yep, same familiar tune another musician claimed he DIDN’T steal).  It ends and more familiar music begins and out comes the Hashtag King CJ.  CJ shakes hands with the fans before he is attacked by Ice Dagger starting this one off early.  Much to the surprise of the King, Ice Dagger stayed even with him even powering out of the guillotine choke submission.  With all the cheating Ice Dagger did, CJ finally got fed up and dropkicked him right in his face.  He made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  King CJ gets the win and celebrates before leaving.  (16 min)

The Fiend arrives and is told he is getting his rematch for the Hardcore title tonight and the Masked Gentleman’s not happy about it.  The Fiend says he doesn’t give a rats-ass what makes MG happy or not but tonight, he reclaims his property.

Match #3:  This one begins with Talon McFrost in the ring already.  His opponent comes out as the “Theme from Bonanza” blares over the loudspeakers and the Stache makes his way down to the ring to a huge pop from the crowd.  He gets in to the ring and climbs each turnbuckle posing for the fans.  Finally, he gets his gear off and the match begins.  For 11 minutes, Talon hung right in there with the former World Champion and that surprised the Stache.  After dropping Talon with a Rodeo Roundhouse Kick, he went for a pin but only got a count.  Talon nails a short arm clothesline but Stache drops him with the Rodeo Kick again and this time, Stache gets the 3 count and the win.  After the match, Stache extended his hand to Talon who shook it in a great show of sportsmanship. (15 min)

Backstage, Hollywood Star & Bruce Biltmore are arguing with Leiton and Niven Snake about who is getting the next title shot.  GM Max McGillicutty walks over and tells them, neither are with this attitude but tonight, they will have a match and the winner of that will in fact, be next in line for a tag team title match.  Both team look satisfied.  Max says “That match is tonight so you all better go get ready.”  Both teams rushed off.

Match #4:  The Savior makes his way down to the ring and once in the ring, takes the mic saying that he’ll beat Texas Wildfire tonight and make himself the #1 contender and once he wins the title again, he’s renaming it once again the Saskatchewan Heavyweight International Title (or S.H.I.T. for short).  TW makes his way to the ring and his pop rivals that of what the Stache got.  This had to be the closest match of the entire night so far.  These guys went toe to toe for a full 20 minutes with neither getting the upper hand.  Both men had the fans on the edges of their seats for the whole thing.  Just as the time was winding down, TW locked in a standing armbar but the Savior reversed it and nailed a powerbomb.  Exhausted, he was a tad too slow to make the cover and only got a one count before the time limit expired.  The fans applauded both competitors.  We are sure these two will have a hell of a match if they ever meet up again.  Both men left on their own.  (20 min time limit draw)

Backstage, MG is screaming from his dressing room:  “Max, Where’s my Prime Rib?  Where the HELL are my teal M&M’s?”  His cries went unanswered.

Match #5:  Hollywood Star & Bruce Biltmore vs Leiton & Niven Snake for the next TT title shot.  The Hollywood Star and The Gold Standard Bruce Biltmore head to the ring first to a mixed reaction from the crowd.  Next, the Snake Pit (Leiton, Niven & Tobias) all come out and stand together on the stage.  The all put their fists into the air like a salute.  Leiton and Niven nod to their brother and then head to the ring.  The match begins almost immediately with all 4 men duking it out.  Finally, the ref gains control and sends Leiton and Bruce out of the ring.  The Snake Pit managed to control the pace of the match and because they are brothers, they were able to keep the fresh man in the ring.  Dominating as they were, the Pit could not keep the Star and Bruce down.  The match ends up ending in a draw but the Hollywood Star wasn’t ready to call it quits.  Star hurled Leiton and Niven out of the ring but as soon as he turned around, Tobias was there and nailed him with the Dirty Deeds.  Tobias joined his brothers and they headed to the back.  They retained their spot in the tag team lineup.  (20 min)

GM Max McGillicutty says that he expects to make an announcement at the next show about HCW going on the road again.  He also says that MG and King CJ will have their first of 3 fights and he knows the fans will not be disappointed.  We are also told that #CJsRoyalScepter and #DishRag are trending worldwide.

It is time for Match #6 which is our main event for the Hardcore title.  The Fiend makes his way down to the ring and is cheered pretty heavily.  Next, Miss Samantha comes out in an evening gown and introduces her man, the Hardcore Champion The Masked Gentleman.  MG comes out wearing a ‘Ric Flair styled’ robe and he saunters down to the ring.  The ref asks what type of match this will be and MG replies with “Lights Out…and after I put out this loser’s lights, Corned Beef Hashtag CJ, you’ll be next.”    The match was closer than MG would have liked but he held a slight advantage over his opponent.  The Fiend looked really good and took the match to the champ.  During the bout, the Fiend had a good run with neutralizing the Welcome Mat, hitting the Last Caress for a 2 count and then took MG out of the ring and after pulling up the padding, hit a piledriver on the floor.  MG was out for a few seconds but got perturbed with the Fiend and he ended up getting counted out.  The Fiend wins the match via countout but does not win the title.  The Fiend complained to the ref but MG was quick to get in and nailed him with the Welcome Mat.   While standing over the Fiend, King CJ ran out and attacked MG but it was almost like he was waiting for him.  MG hit King CJ with the Welcome Mat THREE times.  Miss Samantha then walked over and bent over King CJ and put duct tape over his mouth.  MG then kicked CJ out of the ring.  He and Miss Samantha celebrated as the show came to an end.

Thanks for reading.  I’m sure this is NOT over between MG and King CJ so I recommend staying tuned in.  *Editor’s Note:  Next issue will be a day early as to not interfere with the ‘big game’.*

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #541

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We start the show right in GM Max McGillicutty’s office.  He announces that the team he has signed to a short term deal is none other than the Mexicali Flyers – Tornado en Fuego & El Dragon Insano.  One sticking point in their agreeing to sign was that they wanted a shot at the World Tag Team Titles.  Max told them that was reaching a bit so he offered them a non-title match with the stipulation that if they win, they will get a title match.  They agreed.

On to other business…tonight’s card.  Max says he wants to mix things up and says that tonight is going to be a Women’s Only Beat the Clock Challenge evening.  18 ladies will compete in a beat the clock challenge where the person who gets the win in the shortest amount of time will win a title match against the Champion Kimberly Kiccass tonight…right out there in that very ring (cheap pop).  Each match will be set with a max time of 15 min.  If a pin or submission doesn’t happen before the clock runs out, both ladies will be eliminated.  Once a time limit is established, the other competitors must get their win in less time otherwise they are out.

Ladies Beat the Clock challenge – starting with a 15 min time limit

Match #1:  Jazz Emmett vs Taylor Bella.  Jazz went on the offensive right away and controlled the match keeping Taylor on the defensive. Jazz hits Taylor with the Bankrupt Neck Breaker Slam at the 10 minute mark to get the win.   Time to Beat:  10 min

Match #2:  Betsy Cummings vs Starr Vixen:  Betsy attacked Starr before the bell rang ramming her into the unforgiving steel post.  Betsy hit a sunset flip and hooked the tights to score the pin at the 8 minute mark.  New time to beat:  8 min

Match #3:  The Duchess vs Lady Hermann.  The Duchess had the upper hand for the entire match but Lady Hermann would not lay down for the pin.  After a lengthy beating, the bell rings at the 15 minute mark and both ladies are eliminated.

Time to beat:  Still 8 minutes

Match #4:  Ravishing Raquel vs Felicia Cummings.  Raquel was on fire for this match but Felicia spent a lot of time on the outside of the ring.  That ended up costing Raquel the opportunity and this one ended in a draw.  Both ladies are eliminated.

Match #5:  Ravishing Ruby Princess vs Lexy Flexx.  Ruby owned this match and just like the last one, Lexy refused to lay down.  After the 8 min mark was passed, Ruby beat the snot out of Lexy until the 15 minute bell rang eliminating both ladies.

Time to beat:  Still 8 minutes

Match #6:  Missy Chick vs Southern Belle.  Belle owned the first part of this match but Missy soon took control but the 8 minute mark passed by like a speeding car the two just fought until the time limit ran out.  Both ladies are eliminated.

Match #7:  Madame Jade vs The British Crippler.  This was another close match that didn’t even see a single pin attempt until right before the 8 min mark.  However, no pin was made and this one passed that marker and sailed on to another draw.  Both ladies are eliminated.

Match #8:  Queen Beckett vs Scarlett Phoenix.  Queen Beckett controlled the early part of the match but just before the 8 min mark, Starr Vixen came out and distracted her royalness.  She missed her window but that gave Scarlett the little extra to score a pin after hitting a monkey flip at the 11 min mark.  Both ladies are eliminated.

Time to beat:  Still 8 minutes

Match #9:  Sarona Reiher vs El Gato Negro.  We are down to the final match.  If neither of these ladies can beat 8 minutes, Betsy Cummings will get the title shot tonight.  Betsy makes her way down to the ring and sits at commentary.  The Ladies Champion Kimberly Kiccass also comes out and sits at the other side of the commentary table.  The pressure is on!  Both ladies tried to pull out every stop and every dirty trick in the book to get an advantage but nothing seemed to work and the time flew by and the match was called when 8 minutes passed.  Frustrated, El Gato and Sarona both left the ring.

Now it is time for our main event.  Betsy Cummings, the challenger takes on the champion Kimberly Kiccass.  Not sure how Betsy managed to win her match when she was totally dominated by the champ in this one.  Kimberly never let up and Betsy tried on 2 occasions to get counted out but Kimberly brought her back in each time.  Finally, Betsy exited the ring for the 3rd time and decided she had had enough.   She left the ring and began walking away.  She gets counted out and Kimberly retains her title via countout at the 19 ½  min mark.  However, the rest of the ladies came back out (except her twin Felicia) and basically pushed Betsy around saying she wasted a shot any of them would have bled for.  They collectively attack Betsy and she manages to escape and runs to the back with the rest of the ladies roster in tow.  Kimberly posed with the title a few moments and then left.

Thanks for reading.  Be sure to tune back in for more action.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #540

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We are less than 4 weeks away from our February PPV:  All Hail the King.  The show will host a Men’s battle royal and the winner will challenge King CJ for his crown.  Can the Hashtag retain for another year or will the scepter and crown pass along to another willing individual?  Only time will tell.  Also on that card, there will be a Women’s battle royal and the winner of that will take on the Women’s Champion for the gold.

Printing error was made in the last issue.  It stated the Curtain (Steel Curtain) backed up the ramp when in actuality, it was the 5th Column.  This writer apologizes for the confusion.

The show kicks off in front of the sold out KC crowd with pyro going off. Hometown favorite Master Bull and the Elitist Reid Rothchild come out wearing KC Chiefs jerseys to a HUGE pop from the crowd.  Master Bull gets on the mic.  “KC Fans…we’re back!  The HCW in all its glory comes to the home of the Chiefs.  (pop from the crowd)   Reid and I were talking before the show and I told him that the GREAT city of Kansas city has become nothing more than a cesspool of overpaid and wasted talent.”  The fans go from cheering…stop…and then go sour on them.  “The Chiefs…what a joke.  You know the only thing the Chiefs are good at is CHOKING! Ha ha ha.”  He lets the (now) hatred from the fans wash over him.  “The only thing not soiled by this godforsaken city is this man right here…The Elitist Reid Rothchild.  All you ignorant fans and sports teams…take note.  The Elitist is the purest form of athlete ANYWHERE and will grace this very ring tonight with a defense of HIS championship.”  Reid and Bull remove their jerseys and TEAR them in half throwing them on the ground and then kicking the remnants out of the ring.  Bull and Reid leave the ring laughing as the fans throw stuff at them.

To keep the hatred of the fans flowing, the first match begins with Ant Graham and Dr. Red Fang making their way out to the ring.  I can tell you I’ve never heard Fang get so much heat as what was carried over from Bull’s insulting our hosting town.  Fang enters the ring and screams “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE!” His opponent Jesse California comes out and receives the exact opposite reaction (because frankly, the fans here want someone they can really cheer for).  Jesse enters the ring and per Ant’s direction, Fang immediately goes on the attack but Jesse is ready for him and the two go toe to toe for 8 minutes.  Ant tried to interfere a couple of times but Jesse quickly dispatched him.  Fang then goes to dropkick Jesse out of the ring but he holds on and is back in immediately and locks in a bodyscissors sleeperhold.  Fang thrashed about for a few seconds before tapping out.  Jesse California wins the match via submission.  Jesse climbs the turnbuckles to celebrate but Ant Graham is in and smacks Jesse with his cane.  Fang recovers and NAILS Jesse with a Vampire Lunge.  He stands over him briefly but as Jesse begins to stir, Fang hits him with a Transylvania Piledriver.  Ant then escorts Dr. Red Fang to the back.  Jesse has to be helped from the ring.  (8 ½ min for the match; 3 for the segment)

Backstage, the Masked Gentleman is watching King CJ’s promo from the last show and he keeps replaying it all to raise his ire.  Once he’s on the verge of exploding, he turns to the camera.  “CJ You pathetic pile of mouth manure! You think that you can get a woman like Miss Samantha? Pfft, I saw you get rejected on EHarmony! Look Punk, You have NO CHANCE of getting a girl Like Miss Samantha, EVER! And, its going to be MY Pleasure to rake your royal face through the steel cage, you won’t be King after that...more like a Joker...So keep on talking, your words don’t mean a Damn thing. You either put up, or shut up....better yet #GladBag just shut up, and I will see you in the ring.  Oh and keep your grubby hands off my M&M’s!"  MG drops the Mic and heads back to his dressing room.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  First, Starr Vixen makes her way out to the ring and she gets a good pop from the crowd.  Next, her opponent Scarlett Phoenix makes her way out and she too gets a pop from the crowd.  The two ladies shake hands and the bell rings. This one moved a bit more slowly as both women were actually employing TECHNICAL wrestling.  The fans who would have normally been bored with this actually got into the match cheering both women on.  About 11 minutes in, Starr is whipped into the corner and as Scarlett approached, Starr began to choke her on the top rope.  The fans began booing her.  Scarlett began to fight back but Starr nailed vicious clothesline which saw Scarlett’s head bounce off the mat.  Starr went for the pin and got the 1-2-3.  After the match, she simmered down and went to check on Scarlett.  After seeing she was ok, Starr raised Scarlett’s arm and the two received pops from the crowd.  (13 min)

Backstage, Magnum Kone, one half of the Tag Team Champs was supposed to be on the card tonight but he told the match makers he couldn’t wrestle tonight and needed to leave.  Wondering what they were going to do, the Crocodile Hunter walks over and agrees to take the match.

We go back to the ring for Match #3.  First, Canada’s own The Savior comes out and he is booed pretty mercilessly.  His opponent Mr. Wrestling V comes out and he gets the pop which infuriates the Savior.  The Savior attacks the masked man as soon as he entered the ring not even allowing him to remove his robe.  Mr. Wrestling fought back and for 5 minutes, owned the match.  After being dazzled by the Laying of the Hands, the Savior went on an offensive tear and V could not keep up.  The Savior nailed a powerbomb for a 2 count.  He tried for the powerbomb a second time but V nullified it only to be dropped by a package DDT.  After more back and forth action, the Savior hit V with a Brainbuster but V was too close to the ropes and got his foot under it.  He picked up V who locked in a front chancery but got his teeth rattled by a vicious uppercut and then was dropped with the Package DDT.  The Savior makes the cover and gets the 3 count.  The Savior wins the match much to the chagrin of the fans.  He doesn’t care as he soaks it all in (including all the soda and beer thrown his way) and he eventually leaves.  (16 min)

The Steel Curtain are backstage and they are getting ready for their match but when they go to look at the lineup board, they see that their match was cancelled.  Clearly upset, they go to find GM Max McGillicutty.

We’re back in the ring and the Crocodile Hunter makes his way to the ring to a good pop from the crowd.  His opponent for the evening is Ivan Dragovich who comes out to a decent reaction.  Ivan used his power to control the match but the Crocodile Hunter countered with his speed and that kept his hopes alive.  Croc was able to take the beating from Ivan for a full 20 minutes and after catching the Russian with a kick to the gut, the bell rang bringing this one to a draw.  Ivan extended his hand and at first, Croc slapped it away but after regaining his composure, he and Ivan shook hands and left the ring.  (20 min draw)

The Steel Curtain knock and enter Max’s office.  Buzz and Starbuck question why they flew all the way out here after being told they have a match only to have it scrapped at the last minute.  Tempers started to flair and Max and he decides he’s had enough.  He says he’s suspending the Steel Curtain.  Surprisingly, Buzz and Starbuck seem to be ok with it.

Max:  You guys keep pushing and as much as I hate to do it, I’m going to have to suspend you.  I think two months away should cool the two of you down.
Starbuck:  Max, you say you want to do what’s best for business, well then, so do we.
Buzz:  You do what you got to do and WE’LL do what we’ve got to do.
Max:  What is that supposed to mean?
Starbuck:  Nothing and Everything.  See you in two months.
Buzz:  Word

The Steel Curtain leave and Max wonders if this was the right thing to do.  Only time will tell.

We go back to the ring for the next match.  Biceps Bannerman makes his way out and he doesn’t look to be in a very good mood.  Since he and the Steel Curtain were supposed to be teaming once again to go after the 6 man titles and now the Steel Curtain were suspended, Bannerman will be forced to remain in singles competition.  Fortunately for him, his opponent is one member of the 5th Column and Ant Graham comes out with Baron von Blood.  With Graham interfering, Baron went on the very aggressive offense until about the 8 minute mark when Biceps caught the Baron with a Bicep’s Crunch (bearhug).  After that, Biceps went on a tear dropping Baron and Ant with huge forearms.  After tossing the Baron around like a rag doll, he nailed him with a spinebuster.  Baron kicked out at two and Graham pulled him out of the ring.  The two wearily made their way up the ramp and to the back getting counted out.  Biceps gets the win via CO and he’s not all that happy with it.  He eventually leaves.  (17 ½ min)

We cut back to Max’s office and it appears that he just ended a phone call.  He says that he just got a team to temporarily fill the vacancy left by the Steel  Curtain and that they should be here next week.

It’s time for the main event that will be for the Elitist title.  Reid’s opponent comes out first and it’s none other than Turnip.  Turnip makes his way to the ring to a pop from the crowd.  Reid’s music hits and he and Master Bull come out and if it were even possible, the hatred and venom being spewed was even viler than before.  If Reid thought this was going to be a cake walk, he was mistaken.  Even though Reid overpowered his opponent, Turnip had the gumption to stay right there with the champ.  Reid distracted the ref and Bull took a chair and hit Turnip in the knee with it.  Reid then pulled Turnip into the center of the ring and locked in the Figure Four Reid Lock.  Turnip gave up almost immediately do to the pain.  Reid Rothchild successfully defends his title.  (7 min)  The show comes to an end with Bull and Reid standing in the ring while the fans throw cups and drinks at them.

Stay Tuned Fans as things are really beginning to heat up.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #539

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  The show begins with a video recap of the “teacher” segment the Masked Gentleman held in MG’s pit from last show.  After the recap ends, it cuts to King CJ standing in front of the monitor watching it.  “that was a good bit…MG is getting creative...”  He turns to the camera and continues…”wow a lesbian love scene huh....nothing like to HOT females to catch my attention…ladies…the kings scepter awaits ha ha…hell, miss samantha even really knows how to stoke that cigar...but damn that the masked gimp sure is 1 ugly woman... and immediately after the king whips your ass in front of each and every star in the lumberjack match ....then drags your ‘s and m’ bondage mask across that cold steel in your cage match the king is going to take his new concubine miss samantha to the back and give her the royal treatment shes been begging for....and after the 3rd and final match the king will have taken your women, your title, your dignity and your title...and any shot of getting any of them back…with him!!!

Pyro goes off and our show is ready to go.  The Muscles Trio (Weasley, Thorpe & McGuire) all head down to the ring.  They say that when the Steel Curtain and Biceps Bannerman were the champs, they were out defending the trophy all the time.  However, once the 5th Column won the trophy, they’ve been absent from the scene. Muscles McGuire calls them cowards.  This prompts the 5th Column’s manager Ant Graham to come out.  Graham chastises the Muscles saying they could not beat the Curtain and Bannerman but his team could.  Graham says that if the Muscles want a taste of another beatdown, his team is willing to oblige but it will NOT be for the trophy.  The 5th Column (Baron von Blood, Oswald Zimmerman & Karl Braun) head down to the ring with their manager and this one starts almost immediately.

Graham was a non factor in this match and so was the 5th Column.  Needless to say, the Muscles Trio ANNIHALATED the trophy holders (44 to 155) and ended mercifully at 11 minutes after Weasley pinned Oswald with the Muscles Crush.   The 5th Column recovered and re-entered the ring with chairs taking out the Muscles.  This prompted Ivan Dragovich, & Wendell Hammerschimdt to run down to attack the 5th Column.  After the Column bailed, Ivan reveals they are challenging for the 6 man trophy.  Braun says Ivan’s taken one too many chair shots as there are only two of them, not 3.  Ivan then reveals their new partner and Otto Ruthless joins them in the ring.  The new team stands victorious while the Column backs up the ramp staring at the new threat.  (11 min for the match, 5 for the segment)

The US Champion Texas Wildfire is here and it is revealed he gets to defend his title tonight against Smasher #2 in the Main Event.  He says he is ready.

We go back to the ring for our next match.  Starr Vixen makes her way out to the ring to a good pop from the crowd.  Her opponent comes out next and it’s Jazz Emmett.  Before the match can begin, Queen Beckett makes her way out to the ring and sits at commentary.  Jazz used the distraction and controlled the match for the first 6 minutes.  After that, Starr hit her with a Flying Fivearm and that changed the whole pace of the match.  Starr then owned her opponent and got quite a few pin attempts but Jazz kept kicking out.  As the time limit was nearing expiration, Jazz hits a double knee backbreaker but Starr shakes it off and hits Jazz with the Flying Fivearm.  The ref made the count (Jazz was OUT) 1…2…and the bell rang bringing this one to a draw.  Queen Beckett immediately left commentary and hit the ring and attacked Starr but she instead hurled her royalness out of the ring.  Beckett was pissed but refused to get back in the ring and she eventually left.  (20 min draw)

Backstage, the Steel Curtain (Buzz and Starbuck Steel) are being interviewed and they say that tonight they will prove they should be at the top of the Tag Team division when they take on P&L (Phat Sol & Red Hot Lucas Johnston).  Buzz says that everyone makes mistakes (alluding to Max forgetting they had a title defense under their belts therefore entitling them to a rematch) and they WILL become the champs again.  Just as they were leaving, Starbuck looks at the camera and says “Word”.

We go back to the ring for more 6 man tag team action.  This time it is to see who will be the #1 contenders to the trophy.  First, the Huber Clan (Butch, Ferb and Junior) make their way down to the ring.  Next, the Snake Pit (Niven, Leiton and Tobias).  The Pit all raise their arms, make a fist and touch gloves as this one gets ready to kick off.  The Hubers had control of the match more often but the Pit just kept battling back.   As the match began to wind down, Junior Huber nailed Leiton with a scoop power bodyslam.   Tobias joins them and then hurled Junior out of the ring.  Niven was on the outside of the ring and rushed at Junior hitting a spear and he got put right through the ringside barrier.  Junior is not able to make it back in the ring and ends up getting counted out.  The Snake Pit retain their spot via countout decision. (26 min)

The Fiend is backstage and he gets a pop.  Just as he is getting ready to be interviewed, he is attacked by the masked man known as Hangman #3.   After the refs and shirts came in to break it up, the Fiend challenges Hangman #3 to a match which he accepts.  That will take place later.

We go back to the ring for our next match.  Phat Sol & Lucas Johnston (P&L) come out first with their manager the Ambassador.  Once they arrive in the ring, the music changes and the fans pop as the Steel Curtain make their way down.  The ref announces this will be a 20 minute match and Buzz starts to get upset but calms down saying they can do this.  Unfortunately for them, time was not on their side and even though they owned the match, they could not put P&L down for the 3 count.  The Ambassador played a much more crucial role in this match and kept his team moving.  Much to the dismay of the fans, the bell rings and this one ends in a time limit draw.   The Steel Curtain are not happy and they look like they want to continue the fight but after taking a step back, they leave instead as the fans cheer them.  P&L got a decent pop too for their performance.  Before leaving, Phat Sol gets on the mic and asks the Ambassador to set them up against the new champs for a shot at the belts.  The Ambassador says he cannot do that as he represents them and also what is best for him and that is Magnum Kone and Pete the PUN-isher as the tag team champs.  Lucas takes the mic and thanks the Ambassador for leading them this far but now…”YOU”RE FIRED!”  The fans pop even more as the Ambassador throws a fit in the ring.  The Tag Team Champs run down and attack P&L but Phat hits Magnum with the Phat-Phat and Lucas drops Pete with a flying dropkick sending him flying out of the ring.  The challengers stand tall as the Ambassador and the champs leave.  (20 min for the match; 5 for the segment)

GM Max McGillicutty looks around and says the Masked Gentleman was supposed to be on today’s show but he is nowhere to be found.  “I guess one less day of his arrogance is a treat for us all.”

We go to the ring and Hangman #3 makes his way down to the booing from the fans.  Not even waiting for him to get into the ring, the Fiend rushes down and goes right after the masked man.  The Fiend catches Hangman #3 with a dropkick and then gets kicked in the ribs by #3.  The Fiend hits his opponent with the Devil’s Reign (neckbreaker) but then Hangman #3 drops the Fiend throat first on the top rope and then locks in a Cobra Neck Wrench.  The Fiend taps out pretty quick.  Hangman #3 gets the very quick win and then grabs his hangman’s noose and puts it around the throat of the Fiend and hurls him over the top rope trying to “hang” him.  The Fiend struggles for just a few moments until the ref hits #3 to get him to drop the noose.  The Fiend falls to the floor; hurt but still alive.  Hangman #3 then grabs the ref and hurls him out of the ring.  Hangman #3 tries to go back after the Fiend but by now, enough refs and ‘shirts’ from the back come out to prevent further attacks.  (2 min for the match; 8 for the segment)

The Steel Curtain are backstage and they say that it’s time for another change.  They feel it’s time to put the ‘band’ back together and into the frame walks Biceps Bannerman.  They say they are going back after the 6 man trophy.

It’s time for the Main Event.  First, Smasher #2 walks down to the ring accompanied by his manager MJ.  Next, the champ’s music hits and Texas Wildfire comes out to the loudest pop of the night.  Wildfire started off strong but when the Super Shockmaster came out, Smasher #2 took advantage and began beating the champ mercilessly.  After pacing around the ring and not wanting to wait any longer, the Super Shockmaster got in the ring and attacked Texas Wildfire prompting the DQ.  Smasher #2 was pissed as he almost had the champ where he wanted him but SS got right into his face and asked if he wanted any part of him.  MJ entered the ring and took his man to the back.  Super Shockmaster then picked up Texas Wildfire and set him up in the corner.  He then charged but TW got the cobwebs cleared just in the nick of time and moved and SS caught nothing but air….and turnbuckle.  Winded, he turned and TW hit SS with a Texas Bionic Elbow that dropped SS.  The Super Shockmaster rolled out of the ring and made his way to the back cursing at Wildfire “I’ll get you punk…just you wait”.  Texas Wildfire celebrated with the fans before leaving.

GM Max came out after the end of the show and thanked everyone for attending.  He makes the announcement that for the next show, they are taking HCW on the road and will be in Kansas City, Missouri next.

Stay tuned for our next exciting episode.
