HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 02.06 – two separate shows


Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  The Warzone PPV is this Sunday and we actually have two shows being held simultaneously with one in San Antonio and one in Austin.  HWF GM Master Bull was in attendance at the show in San Antonio and CSWA GM Hulk Hogan was at the Austin show.  Here are how those shows broke down.

San Antonio Show

Lucas Johnston vs AJ Styles – Johnston once again got a very ‘lukewarm’ reaction from the fans and he just wasn’t happy about it.  30 seconds into the match, AJ tosses Johnston from the ring and he just walks out.  He didn’t even turn around.  The ref awards the match to AJ Styles but then out comes the Samoan Submission Machine Samoa Joe.  Joe says that AJ didn’t even have a chance to get warmed up so he is here now to give him the match the fans really want to see. 

AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe – the shortest match of the night is followed by the match tied for shortest match of the night.  30 seconds in, Joe takes AJ out of the ring and nails a muscle buster on the concrete.  Joe barely makes it back in before the 10 count.  Joe gets the win via CO and we now just had 2 matches that had less air time than it took for me to write these results.

Next up we have Tyson Kidd vs Stardust w/ Goldust – Tyson owned this entire match but it wasn’t until a mishap brought this one to a close.  After we got to 29 minutes of fighting, Goldust hopped up on the ring apron.  Stardust tried to whip Kidd into the corner but it was reversed and Stardust crashed hard into his partner.  Tyson caught Stardust coming out of the corner with a back spin kick and covered him for the 1-2-3 seconds before the time limit bell would ring.

In the back, Tyler Breeze is being interviewed and he says that Buff Austin’s days as champion end tonight.  Breeze says he’ll be walking out of the match tonight as the champ.

Back to the ring we go for our next match which has Jeff Hardy taking on Randy Orton.  This one went 16 minutes and had an impressive showing from Orton.  At the end, Hardy threw Orton over the top rope but he landed on his feet.  He then hopped over the top rope and caught Hardy with a flying dropkick.  With a little tug on the tights, Orton gets the pin.  I don’t think the tight pulling was necessary but Orton doesn’t play by the rules.

Intercontinental Champion Buff Austin says that tonight, he cements his legacy when he defeats Tyler Breeze.  When asked “what legacy?” Buff gets pissed off and leaves.

Next we have Awesome Kong taking on Natalya Neidhart for her spot.  Awesome Kong catches Natalya in a choke slam and scores the pin at the 8 minute mark.  Awesome Kong moves up in the rankings.

Next on the card we have Rockstar Spud vs ‘Bad News’ Wade Barrett for his spot.  In 13 minutes, Barrett locks Spud in an abdominal stretch and gets him to tap out.  Barrett retains his spot.  As he leaves, he tells Spud “I’ve got some bad news for you.  You lost.”

It is time for our main event which has Tyler Breeze challenging IC Champion Buff Austin for the title.  Master Bull comes out and says this is best of 3 falls. In 16 minutes, Breeze scores the first fall after nailing a bodyslam on Austin.  15 minutes later, Breeze nails a superkick out from nowhere and makes the cover for the 1-2-3.  Tyler Breeze has just defeated Buff Austin for the Intercontinental Championship.  Austin looked sad as he walked to the back.  This brought the show to an end.  Breeze remained in the ring celebrating.


Austin Show

The show kicks off with the hardcore title on the line. Big Show defends the title against Daniel Bryan. This will be a falls count anywhere match.  At the end, Big show took Bryan and hit a powerbomb from the ring apron through the announce table.  HOLY SHIT chants were everywhere.  The second fall favored the champion (Bryan could barely stand) and in 11 minutes (Show was just playing with him), hits Brian with a Chokeslam to get the win.  Big Show retains his title.  After the match, Ryback makes his way out and says that Show had better be ready to accept a loss when he beats him (Show) for the North American Title.  After the match, Alexander Rusev runs down and hits beats on Daniel Bryan with the Russian flag.  He then stands over Daniel waving his flag.

The next match has Prestige Inc. taking on the Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Ryback).  This match was moved from the PPV due to an over-stacked card.  This one went 10 minutes and saw the Hardcore and North American champion Big Show come out.  He hit both Seth Rollins and Ryback with knock out punches.  Ambrose didn’t know what was going on and Reid capitalized and connected with the Hogan Leg Drop.  Reid made the cover and got the win for his team.  When Reid asked Hogan about the pay, the Hulkster said not to worry as they are still getting their PPV $$$.

Next up we have Cactus Jackie taking on Southern Belle.  Belle had asked for a rematch.  Jackie accepted as she has no problem beating someone twice.  This one went 19 minutes and Jackie was not ready for the ONSLAUGHT Belle brought.  Belle beat the living snot out of Jackie as she was all hulked out for the entire match.  Belle gets the win after hitting a flying body press.  After the match, Jackie bitch slapped Belle and then ran off like a frightened child.  Belle was still hulked out and chased after Jackie.

The next match is supposed to be a falls count anywhere match between the American Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) and Beer Money (James Storm and Bobby Roode) but it never happened.  Apparently, Beer Money attacked the Wolves backstage and left them in a bloody heap.  We see broken beer bottles all over the place.  Medics attended to the Wolves.

In the back, Dolph Ziggler is talking to CSWA GM Hulk Hogan.  He tells Hogan he wants John Cena tonight.  Hogan says that Cena is not here tonight and he can’t make HWF matches.  However, before he and Bull left for their respective shows, Master Bull said that Ziggler can get Cena at the PPV but only if he defeats the Caped Crusader tonight.  Ziggler agrees and says he will make an example of the Caped Crusader tonight.  Ziggler tells Cena they will be in a Battlefield of Pain.

The next match on the card was requested by the Jones Boys (#ConanJones and Casey Jones).  They want the Ascension tonight.  The match, controlled by the Ascension, ends up going to a time limit draw.  After the match, Konnor and Viktor drop the Jones boys with the Fade to Black.

It is time for the main event which has the Caped Crusader taking on Dolph Ziggler.  This one had Ziggler written all over it.  Dolph controlled the match almost in its entirety.  The Caped Crusader battled back best he could but was no match for the master of the Zig Zag.  Dolph caught CC with a jumping DDT and then trapped him in the ropes.  He backed to the other side of the ring ready to take CC’s head off with a clothesline but the Crusader got himself free and pulled down the top rope and Ziggler went flying over it and crashed into the announcers table.  CC backed off and let the ref count.  1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8… 9…10.  Dolph Ziggler got counted out.  The Caped Crusader got out of the ring and dragged the unconscious form of Ziggler back in. He helped him to his feet and then nailed the F-U.  WHAT THE??? Caped Crusader removed his mask and revealed himself to be JOHN CENA!  Cena pulled one over on everyone (well, CC did look bigger than he had in the past).  There was a kid at ringside that had a sign that said “Why Cena Why?” and John snatched the sign from the kid and tore it up.  Cena celebrated in the ring as the fans booing increased and with this, the show comes to a close.

Southern Belle and Fusion Valentine vs the Beautiful People.  If Belle and Valentine win, they become part of the Beautiful People.  Whoever is pinned is out of a job.
Donnie B & MW3 vs the Ascension for the World Tag Team titles
Women’s Champion AJ Lee vs Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel with both titles on the line.
Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt vs ???

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 02.05


Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  The show begins with taped promo from the HWF World and Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt.  Wyatt says that the Undisputed title will NOT be on the line at the PPV only because Brock Lesnar will not be winning the HWF World title.  Wyatt says (in mocking fashion) that Lesnar will Rest…in…Peace.  He then laughs maniacally. 

We head to the ring for our first match which has the Hardcore champion Mark Henry defending his title against King Damian Sandow.  Sandow was accompanied to the ring by the rest of the Prestige Inc members ‘The Elitist’ Reid Rothchild, Magnus and the Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and makes this “boot camp” rules.  In what was a very entertaining match, his Royalness actually went toe to toe with the HC champ.  Things started to go Damian’s way after Big Show came out and distracted Henry.  Sandow took advantage and blasted Henry with a German helmet disorienting him.  He then blasted Henry with pummeling fists and the champ dropped to the mat.  Sandow makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  King Damian Sandow has scored the first fall (25 min).  The second fall goes 16 minutes and comes to an end after his Lordship catches Mark with a russian leg sweep.  Sandow scores the pin and is the NEW HARDCORE Champion.  He is immediately attacked by Big Show who called for his #1 contender shot right here and now. 

This one goes 10 minutes under Brawl Games rules and Big Show hits the knockout punch to Sandow to score the first fall.  The second fall is under ECW rules.  This one goes 16 minutes and sees Prestige Inc get involved.  Towards the end, Reid and Magnus blasted Big Show with steel chairs until he went down.  Sandow then hit a spinning elbow drop and got the second fall.  The third fall goes 8 minutes and this time, Prestige Inc couldn’t help the King.  Big Show had hit both men with knock out punches.   Sandow, trying to capitalize again with the chair, ends up eating the chair and a big foot from Show.  Big Show makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Big Show is now the Hardcore Champion in addition to the North American Champion.  GM Master Bull comes out and congratulates Show on his win but reminds him that either he defends the Hardcore title at the next show or he has to pull double duty at the PPV.  Show is pissed off but says he will defend the Hardcore title at the next show.

In the back, Dolph Ziggler says he will have a bone to pick with both John Cena and the Caped Crusader all in good time.  Dolph says that before he was a fan favorite, he was a heel and he knows the game just as well as anyone and he’ll feed Cena his teeth.

We make our way back to the ring for our next match which has Bram & MVP taking on the Colons.  This was as one sided a match as we’ve ever seen.  Bram and MVP double teamed the Colons for almost the entire match.  In a desperation attempt by the Colons, they end up injuring both MVP and Bram and Epico and Primo tried to take advantage but the bell rang bringing this one to a time limit draw.     After the match, Bram hits Epico with a lifting DDT and MVP hits Primo with the Playmaker.  They walk off leaving the Colons broken and beaten in the ring.  (30 min)

Back to the interview area and we see the CSWA World Champion and one half of the World Tag Team Champs MW3.  He says that he is looking forward to giving #ConanJones his match and if he’s (Jones) half as good as he thinks he is, this should be an interesting match.

We go back to the ring for our next match which has Sami Zayn taking on Dolph Ziggler.  In what was a pretty quick match, Ziggler gets the win after Zayn taps out to a sleeperhold.  (6 min)  After the match, John Cena comes out and stands on the stage.  Dolph invites Cena to the ring but he declines.  Dropping from the rafters comes the Caped Crusader.  As soon as he landed in the ring (Dolph was expecting this), Dolph nails CC with the Zig Zag before he is ever released from his harness.  A prone Caped Crusader is then hoisted back up to the rafters as Cena charges the ring.  Cena and Ziggler brawl until the ‘suits’ from the back come out to break it up.  HWF GM Master Bull comes out and tells these two that, even though it may be best for business, he will not have them fight at Warzone.  Ziggler begins to complain and then Cena hits him with the F-U.  Cena smirks as the fans boo him.  He flips them off and then leaves.

Back to the interview area we go and this time it is #ConanJones who says that he will defeat MW3 and then take that title.  #’s tag team partner Casey Jones walks over and tells him not to bite off more than he can chew.  All # can says is “I’ve got this brah”.

More in-ring action is next with Big E Langston taking on Ken Anderson.  Langston comes out to a nice pop and Anderson gets his typical “asshole” chant which he soaks in.  In 18 minutes, after reversing the Mic Check, Langston hits a yank (off the turnbuckle) to the mat and rolls up Anderson for the 1-2-3.  Big E gets the win.

We go right into our next match which has Kofi Kingston taking on the newest addition to the CSWA roster Samoa Joe.  This was another good match with Kofi doing his high flying moves and Joe doing his best to keep him grounded.  This one goes 9 minutes and after Joe caught Kofi coming off the ropes, he hits a muscle buster and then locks in the rear naked choke.  Kofi, trapped in the middle of the ring, taps out.  Samoa Joe is victorious in his first (2015) CSWA appearance.

We go to the back again where the American Wolves – Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards - are asking GM Master Bull for another shot at Beer Money.  Bull says that the match will happen but it won’t be tonight.  All of a sudden, Beer Money (James Storm and Bobby Roode) attack the Wolves and beat them down.  Beer Money tell Bull that he had better make a match between the two teams VERY soon or there will be blood on Bull’s hands.

We go back to the ring for title contention placement.  Miz-fit member the Fiend challenged Adam Rose for his spot.  The Fiend was accompanied to the ring by his partner the Miz.  This match was extremely close with neither man giving an inch.   There were two people at ringside and one of them grabbed Miz and yanked him forcibly into the crowd.  He removes his hood and it’s the Axe.  Rose then tossed the Fiend out of the ring.  While Rose was distracting the ref, Dirk grabbed the Fiend and bounced his head off the exposed guard rail practically knocking him out.  The ref begins the count and hits 10.  The match is awarded to Adam Rose who retains his spot via count out.  (9 ½ min).  Dirk and the Axe then drag the Miz-fits into the ring.  Axe hits Miz with the Axe and Dirk hits the Fiend with the Pearl Drum drop.  The Band stand in the ring with their arms raised as the fans boo them with much hatred.

CSWA GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says that the main event, taking place next, will be a cross-promotional match between his World Champion MW3 and the HWF’s own #ConanJones.  HWF GM Master Bull comes out and says that when #ConanJones wins his match (and he will), # will get a title match and then become the first ever champion to have a symbol (the # sign) in the spot where the name normally resides.  Hogan reminds Bull that # MUST get the win first and not to put the cart before the horse. 

Our main event is upon us.  #ConanJones comes out first with his tag team partner Casey Jones.  Next, CSWA World Champion MW3 comes out with his World Tag Team Champion partner ‘The Original Big Daddy’ Donnie B to a good size pop.  # never got any real offense in.  The champ schooled # and in 8 minutes, gets the pin after hitting a dragonscrew.   #Conan Jones tried to complain but it did no good.  MW3 and Donnie B celebrated in the ring but are interrupted by the Ascension & MJ.  The Ascension plow through #ConanJones and Casey Jones as they were leaving ringside and jump in the ring.  The Ascension and the tag team champs battled until the suits made their way out to break it up.  The show comes to an end with all the men staring at each other.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 02.04


Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Warzone (live and on PPV) will be coming to you from Houston TX in one short week. 

The show begins as Bray Wyatt cuts a promo (in candlelight) about how men are defined by actions, but he is no man; he is the spirit and he is the reaper. He asks why ‘they’ think there will be no consequences for action, but he is the Devil knocking on your door right now. Bray he says ‘he’ just wants to come home and to let him in, so let him in.  “Brock Lesnar, let me in.”  He then laughs uncontrollably.  Freaky.

The first match of the night has A-Team member Antonio Cesaro taking on the Warrior of Truth.   The match is a short one after Abyss came out for the distraction and Cesaro gets the win after hitting a bicycle kick.  (5 min)

Roving reporter Clarkus Kentus comes out and says he is going to interview the top 2 women in the sport today – AJ Lee and Ravishing Raquel.  The Women’s Champion comes out first and is followed by the Diva’s Champion.  Clarkus tries to ask AJ why she attacked Raquel at the contract signing but before she could answer, they are interrupted by Cactus Jackie.  Jackie comes out and tells Clarkus he is NOT interviewing the right women.  She is the ONLY person who should be considered as the top woman in the sport.  She issues a challenge right then and there that she wants the first shot at whomever walks out the Undisputed Women’s Champion.  She pulls out a kendo stick she had hidden and started hitting AJ and Raquel with it.  As Clarkus tries to restore order, Southern Belle runs down and chases Jackie off.  Belle says she wants Jackie in a match tonight.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says that match will be later.

Our next match is ‘The Man’ Austin Aries taking on the Super Warrior.  SW went toe to toe with Aries and he started to panic so he called out Cesaro.  Antonio comes out which throws SW off his game.  Aries ends up getting the win after hitting a slingshot corkscrew press. (12 min).  After the match, the Warrior of Truth runs out and he and Super Warrior clean house.  The A-Team has two wins under their belts.

We cut to the back where the Miz-fits (the Fiend and the Miz) throw out an open challenge to the Band (Pick and the Axe).  Dirk and Axe walk over and say that they have to decline.  They feel robbed from their match against the Ascension and want a rematch against them.  GM Master Bull comes over and tells them “tough shit” and a new match is being added to Warzone – the Miz-fits vs the Band.  Dirk and the Axe are not happy about that.

We head back to the ring and John Cena makes his way out.  He gets in the ring and calls down Dolph Ziggler.  Ziggler makes his way to the ring.  John tries to explain his actions and how he was just frustrated with where he is in his career.  Dolph calls bullshit.  Cena knew exactly what he was doing and he wants the real reason.  Cena does a big sigh and then attacks Dolph.  Cena beats him down and kicks Dolph out of the ring.  The Caped Crusader comes out and makes his way to the ring.  CC asks what exactly Cena thinks he’s doing.  He is a super hero to kids all over the world and John is turning his back on each and every one of his fans.  Dolph climbs back in the ring and is pissed.  The Caped Crusader turns around and asks Dolph to calm down so they can figure this out.  CC then HITS Dolph with the WAM!BAM!POW!.  WHAT THE HELL???  CC then stomps on Dolph and kicks him out of the ring.  The Caped Crusader has just turned evil.  WHY CC, WHY?  The Crusader shakes hands with Cena and they leave at the same time.

Master Bull says he wants to see another match between Beer Money (James Storm and Bobby Roode) and the American Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) so that will be taking place later this week.

We go back to the ring for our next match which has Cactus Jackie taking on Southern Belle.  Belle went to town and was beating the tar out of Jackie.  At one point, both women were fighting on the outside of the ring and then rammed her, sternum first, right into the steel steps.  Belle couldn’t catch her breath.  Jackie drags Belle back in the ring and locks her in the Desert Stretch.  Belle, overwhelmed with pain, tapped out.  Jackie got a win in very dirty fashion.  I don’t think this is over between them.

GM Hulk Hogan says he wants to give Phoenix native (Luke warm) Lucas Johnston another shot and in fact, his opponent will be…AJ Styles.  Hogan also says that to even out the rosters, Samoa Joe will be moving over to the CSWA.

Intercontinental Champion Buff Austin comes out and gloats that he is still the champ.  He is interrupted by the Celtic Bad-Ass Sheamus.  He says that neither of them are at the PPV so he is invoking his #1 contenders match.   Tyler Breeze makes his way out and says that he defeated Buff Austin already so he should be the #1 contender.  Sheamus asks why after he lost his title in pretty quick fashion against Kane.  Breeze says he can say the exact same thing about Sheamus losing his title to Mark Henry.  Breeze gets into Sheamus’ face (Buff Austin tucked tail and left like a coward) and Tyler challenged Sheamus for his spot.  Sheamus agreed.   HWF GM Master Bull came out and said he likes where this is going.  Tonight, Sheamus takes on Tyler Breeze and the winner gets the next title shot at...he looks around for Buff Austin and he’s nowhere to be found…Buff Austin’s Intercontinental Championship.  This match is next.

For the first few minutes, Sheamus held his own but then Tyler just opened a huge can of whoop-ass (not sure where this can was when he was taking on Kane) and really took the match to Sheamus.  Sheamus would battle back but Tyler kept shutting him down.  Tyler catches Sheamus with a superkick which sent in to the ropes and then dropped him with a chop.  Tyler makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Tyler Breeze is now going to get the next title match against Buff Austin.  (23 min)  While celebrating in the ring, Buff Austin runs back down and tries to attack Tyler but Tyler caught him sneaking in the ring and dropped him with the Implant DDT.  Buff Austin rolls out and slinks to the back in total shock.

It is time for the main event.  The third and final member of the A-Team Abyss is taking on the newest member of Team Warrior – the Scorpion Warrior.  The Scorpion Warrior held his own against Abyss until Abyss hit a Black Hole Slam on the floor.  Sitting at ringside in disguise is Cesaro and Austin Aries.  As Abyss distracts the referee, Cesaro and Aries attack the Scorpion Warrior and beat him down.  Aries throws Sting back in the ring.  Running down the ramp come the Super Warrior and the Warrior of Truth and they attack Aries and Cesaro and the 4 of them brawl throughout the crowd.  Abyss picks up Sting and delivers an eye rake blinding the Scorpion Warrior and then hits another Black Hole Slam in the middle of the ring and makes the cover for the 1-2-3.  The A-Team win all 3 of their matches.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 02.03


Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We wanted to post first and foremost what the Warzone PPV is looking like as of right now.  The card is subject to change and/or additional matches can be added.

Our show begins with the Jones Boys - #ConanJones and Casey Jones taking on Xavier Woods and Tyson Kidd.  As part of what was supposed to be a pep talk, CSWA World Champion MW3 agreed to give #ConanJones a non-title match if he and Casey win tonight.  That must have been the motivation he needed as #did all the fighting himself…for a whopping 3 minutes.  # got Xavier locked into a guillotine choke and he got him to tap out.  Casey seemed happy he didn’t have to break a sweat.  I guess this means #ConanJones will be meeting the World Champion at some time.

Bo Dallas is in the back and he is pissed off that the Super Warrior didn’t pick the ‘Bo-lieve Warrior’ to be part of his team.  He says that he wants SW in the ring.  He signs off with “Bo-lieve that, bitch!”

We head to the ring for our next match which has Sami Zayn and Roderick Strong taking on Ethan Carter III and Rockstar Spud.  Spud and ECIII owned the match almost entirely at got the win after Spud hit Sami Zayn with a somersault suicide dive for the 1-2-3. (27 min)  After the match, ECIII got on the mic and said that the same thing will happen to the Desperados at the PPV.  They are interrupted by El Chango and the Stache who come out and say that the outcome will be different as the Desperados will be the ones walking out victorious.  Master Bull comes out and says that their match at the PPV will be a specialty match but what type won’t be disclosed until the PPV.

Southern Belle and Fusion Valentine are talking backstage when they are approached by the Beautiful People Velvet Sky and Angelina Love.  Sky offers them the chance to become something greater than they are today and that is to join the Beautiful People but there is a catch.  There can be a maximum of 3.  Angelina chimes in and says that the 4 of them will meet at the PPV but whomever is pinned must quit wrestling.  Belle and Valentine accept the terms.

We go back to the ring where the “woo-woo” warrior Zach Ryder is standing in the ring.  He says that he was picked by the Warriors but then was disrespected by Bray Wyatt. Since Wyatt is not here tonight, he wants the man who took his “spot” – the Scorpion Warrior.  Sting makes his way out.  Ryder attacks him and for 6 minutes, he brings the fight to the Scorpion Warrior.  However, it was a scorpion death drop that changed the tide of the match and then it was all Sting.  The end came after Sting hit Zack Ryder with a flying dropkick off the ropes and covered him for the 1-2-3.  The Scorpion Warrior is victorious.  (29 min)

We head to the back again where John Cena is being interviewed.  He is asked about his actions against Dolph Ziggler.  Cena says he got caught up in the moment and lost his cool.  He said that at the next show, he would get in the ring, call out Ziggler and apologize to him in front of the wrestling world.

Back to the ring, we are ready for the next match.  The Bo-Lieve Warrior Bo Dallas makes his way out first and is followed by the Super Warrior. This was a relatively short match (5 min) that ended after Bo got counted out.  Afterwards, SW got on the mic and said that Bo did not have the heart of a warrior and that is why he was not chosen.  Getting counted out after only 5 minutes shows he does not have what it takes to run with the Warriors.  Bo Dallas promises that Super Warrior has not seen the last of him.

Brock Lesnar is pacing in the back as he prepares for his match against Kurt Angle.  Brock says that Angle will be just another victim on his way to becoming the HWF World Champion.  Master Bull walks over and reminds us that whoever wins the match – Lesnar or Angle – MUST be a World Champion in order to get a shot at the Undisputed Heavyweight Title.  Bull says that if Angle gets the win, he will have to wrestle MW3 again with the title on the line or he can’t have an Undisputed title shot.  Brock gets in his face and says no one has to worry about that and leaves.  Master Bull does an over-the-top visual gulp (ala Vince McMahon).

Somewhat familiar music hits and it’s…OMG…the Pick and the Axe have returned and they are accompanied by Cactus Jackie Devon.  The trio make their way to the ring.  Dirk Devon gets on the mic and says that he got “bizzay” while in England and winks at Cactus Jackie.  She giggles a bit.  The Axe says that he and Dirk are back and they are going to pick up where they left off and that is dominating all the teams until they become the World Tag Team Champions.  GM Master Bull comes out and welcomes them all back.  He says that they will get their first match tonight, right now against this team.  Music hits and out comes the Ascension.  Jackie scurries out of the ring.  Talk about ring rust.   Pain in the Ass looked horrible.  They must have sat around eating Girl Scout cookies or something instead of hitting the gym.  In what was a massacre, the Ascension got the win after Viktor hits the Fade to Black and then pinned the Axe with a side headlock.  The Ascension leave and Pick and the Axe slowly make their way to the back.  They took soooo much time that the next team  - the Miz-fits were already making their way down for their match.  The Fiend and the Miz laughed at PitA as they walked by and Axe did not appreciate it.  He and Dirk then attacked the Miz-fits dropping them both with their specialty moves.  Dirk asked “who’s laughing now” and they walk off.  I guess the Miz-fit’s match is not happening now.

In the back, Cactus Jackie was waiting on her man to come back and she is approached by Southern Belle.  Belle congratulates her on her expecting a baby and says that she is happy for her.  Jackie turns and asks “who the hell do you think you are?   I don’t know you; get out of my face.”  Belle is taken aback and turns to walk away.  Jackie then attacks her and begins pounding on Belle.  Jackie then removes the pillow she’s had under her blouse – WAIT, was she faking the pregnancy all along???  Jackie smacks Bell with it a few times (ok, it’s a pillow – how much damage is that going to do?) and then walks away laughing.  She says “All of you sheep are so gullible.”

It is time for the main event.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says that a match of this caliber should be a PPV headliner but instead, tonight’s crowd gets the treat.  He wants the match to be ‘fair and square’ so Hogan appoints the Caped Crusader as the special guest referee.  CC makes his way down to a decent pop.  Kurt Angle comes out next and is followed by Brock Lesnar.  Both men are former NCAA champions and this is expected to be a solid match.  The two go right at it and neither give an inch.  Kurt hits the Angle Slam but is unable to capitalize on it.  Brock hits the F-5 but Angle kicks out too.  Towards the end of the match, Kurt asked CC to just let them fight and CC goes to sit on the top turnbuckle.  Brock ends up throwing Angle into the corner where CC is sitting and they collide and CC falls out of the ring.  A new ref runs down to take his place.  A disoriented Kurt turns around and eats a power clothesline.  Brock makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Brock will receive a shot at the Undisputed Heavyweight title but ONLY if he defeats Bray for the HWF title first.  Medics come out to check on the Caped Crusader who seems to be ok but is helped to the back.


The Warzone PPV, taking place on 2/14 at NRG Stadium at Reliant Park in Houston, TX, is officially sold out.  It is expected that at the end of that show, our GM’s will be revealing the location for April’s Wrestlemania PPV.  Stay Tuned.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 02.02


Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.   When the Phoenix show came to an end, an exhausted Ascension and MJ looked up to see two guys blocking their way.  The show ended before we got to see who that was.  It turns out that it was the World Tag Team Champions ‘The Original Big Daddy’ Donnie B and CSWA World Heavyweight Champion MW3.  There was no altercation between the teams.  The Ascension just kept moving as the champs looked on.

Our show starts off with a title match.  The challenger, Kane, comes out first and is followed by the X-Division Champion Tyler Breeze.  GM Master Bull comes out and makes this a best of 3 falls match.  Kane wastes no time and just under 3 minutes, he hits a clothesline from the top rope and gets the first fall.  The match continues and is dominated by Kane.  This time it goes 10 more minutes and after hitting another clothesline from the top rope, Kane make the cover and gets the 1-2-3 and becomes the NEW X-Division CHAMPION. (13 min)

We cut to the back where CSWA GM Hulk Hogan addresses Kurt Angle’s request.  Hogan says that eventually, Angle will see a rematch but that time is not now.  What he will do, however, is give Angle a non-title shot at MW3.  If Angle wins, then he will go one on one against Brock Lesnar to see who gets the Undisputed title shot against Bray Wyatt.  Brock and Bray will have a contract signing later today for the HWF World title match.

We go back to the ring and it is Gail Kim taking on Natalya Neidhart.  This is for Gail’s ranking spot for the Diva’s title.  Gail was controlling the match until at the 10 minutes mark, Natalya caught her flying off the ropes and nailed a devastating powerslam.  She then locked her in the sharpshooter and she got Gail to tap out.  Natalya moves up the rankings and Gail moves down. (10 ½ min)

We head to the back and are treated to a promo from the Scorpion Warrior (aka Sting).  Scorpion Warrior talks about how, back in the day, he was a tag team partner of one Blade Runner Rock but most of wrestling remembers him as the Ultimate Warrior.  He feels that the Super Warrior and Warrior of Truth are honoring the Ultimate Warrior’s legacy and he is proud to be teaming with them.  He is looking forward to their match against the A-Team for the 6 Man titles and then, eventually, taking on the Ascension and their demonic partner (who just happens to be the new X-Division Champ) Kane.

We go back to the ring where Alexander Rusev is standing. He says that he got a call from Russian President Putin and he is being given another chance.  Rusev says he will remain in the ring until someone comes out to fight him.  Music hits and out comes Daniel Bryan.  Bryan says he will accept Rusev’s challenge.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and makes the match official.  Daniel was taking the big Russian to school until Rusev caught Daniel with a big foot to the face.  Rusev then dropped a knee to Bryan’s windpipe and he rolled him up (with a handful of tights) for the 1-2-3.  Rusev gets the Russian flag and waves it in the ring before leaving. (10 min)

The A-Team is in force in the back and they come upon the Warriors.  Austin Aries says that there is no way the Warriors will win the titles.  Scorpion Warrior steps up and says that it is big talk from a small man.  Aries throws out a challenge that the Warriors and A-team should meet in singles matches.  The Warriors accept but Master Bull walks in.  Bull says that this will not be happening tonight as the card is already full but next week, the A-team and the Warriors will all meet in singles competition.

Our next contenders match is up next with Ryback taking on Abyss with the winner getting the next title shot at the North American Champion Big Show.  This was another short match and Ryback was on fire as it only took 7 minutes to hit a marching cradle Suplex and pin Abyss in the middle of the ring.  Ryback moves up and is now the #1 contender.  Big Show makes his way out and stands on the ramp.  Ryback motions that he will be the next champion and the two have a stare down.

We are ready for the next match which has Spider Violet taking on Brie Bella.  This is for the vacant #10 spot for the Diva’s title.  In 15 minutes, Violet hits a diving knee drop and makes the cover to get the win. 

In the back, Kurt Angle says he’s bringing the 3 I’s to tonight’s match against MW3 – Intensity, Intelligence and Integrity.  May the best man win.

We go to the ring where Angle comes out first and is followed by the CSWA World Champion MW3 in this non-title match.  In a quick 9 minute match, Angle gets the win after hitting an Olympic leg sweep.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says that Kurt gets a match against Brock Lesnar to see who will be meeting Bray Wyatt for the Undisputed Heavyweight title.   However, in order for this to happen, one of them need to be a World Champion.  This leaves MW3 free to defend the tag team titles with Donnie B.

Master Bull makes his way out and gets a table set up in the ring.  He invites out first the challenger – the Beast Incarnate – Brock Lesnar.  Once Brock is in the ring, Bull invites Bray Wyatt.  Lesnar just glares at Bray and Bray starts to laugh.  This seems to infuriate Lesnar.  He quickly signs but Bray takes his time.  Bray continues to laugh at Brock.  Bray finally signs the contract and Brock attacks him but Bray battles back and hits Sister Abigail on Brock.  Lesnar goes down but recovers pretty fast.  He has a stunned look on his face.  He can’t believe Bray is still standing.  Brock stands up and then leaves the ring much to the surprise of everyone in the audience.  Brock scrunches his face and wonders what Brock is up to.

It is time for the main event which has Dolph Ziggler taking on John Cena.  Ziggler was OWNING Cena for the entire match.  John was not looking good.   John begins to make a comeback but Dolph just shuts him down.  Dolph nails the Zig Zag and goes for the cover…1…2…KICKOUT.  Wow, Cena kicked out in pretty aggressive fashion.  Dolph connects with a fireman’s carry but John hits the F-U.  He makes the cover and (wait, did he just grab the tights?) gets the 1-2-3.  Cena gets the win.  Dolph ends up getting up and asks John what is going on.  Cena begins to walk away but Dolph grabs his arm.  Cena pulls away in anger and pushes Dolph away.  Zigger gets into John’s face and Cena blasts Dolph much to the surprise of anyone.  Cena looks at what he did and he walks away.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 02.01


Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Now that the Superbowl has come and gone, we can move on to the real action.  We are coming to you live from what was the home of Superbowl 49 - Phoenix, AZ.  There are lots of great performers and lots of great action expected out of today’s show so without further ado, let’s get right to it.

GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says that one lucky resident from Phoenix will be getting a match against a CSWA superstar.  He introduces newbie Lucas Johnston to the crowd who gives him a so-so reaction.  He tries to get the audience excited but doesn’t seem to be doing a very good job of it.  The Hulkster announces that Johnston’s opponent will be none other than CSWA World Heavyweight Champion MW3 and that match will be later tonight.

Walking around the back is none other than #ConanJones.  He seems disappointed that he made the trip all the way out here and is not being used.  He says  the only reason he’s talking to anyone is so that he doesn’t get fined.

Our first match of the night has Miz-fit member the Fiend taking on Adam Rose.  In what turned out to be a 20 minute ass whipping, the Fiend made short (well, 20 minutes short) work of Rose (none of the Rosebuds were at ringside).  The Fiend gets the win with the Last Caress (swinging DDT).  After the match, the Miz joined him at ringside and said that they were interested in throwing their names in for a match at Warzone.  They would be open to take on any team.

In the back, CSWA World Champion and one half of the World Tag Team Champions MW3 says that GM Hulk Hogan asked him to give the local talent Lucas Johnston a shot.   MW3 said that he was glad to give back and is proud that the GM asked him to participate.

We head back to the ring for the next match which is Awesome Kong vs Angelina Love.  For the first 11 minutes, Kong was in charge but then the former Women’s champion started to battle back.  Kong manages to hit TWO top rope splashes onto Angelina Love.  She makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  She is still working off some ring rust but this appearance was definitely better than her last.

In the back, Alberto El Patron says that it doesn’t matter if Hogan puts 1, 2 or all 3 members of the A-Team after him.  He wants Austin Aries and will plow through everyone to get to him.  Alberto does tell Hogan that after he beats the A-team in this handicap match, he wants Austin Aries in a steel cage.

We head back to the ring for our next match which has Dean Ambrose taking on ‘The Fallen Angel’ Christopher Daniels.  For 5 minutes, both men went toe to toe but after Daniels hit Ambrose with a double jump moonsault, the tide turned in his favor.  Ambrose struggled to get in any offense for the remainder of the match and Daniels gets the win after connecting with a  double knee gutbuster at the 16 minute mark.  Daniels moves up in the rankings and Ambrose moves down (US title rankings).

We head back to the interview area where the 6 Man tag team champions the A-Team are being interviewed.  Aries says that Alberto will be in a world of hurt and after the beating they’ll be dishing out, there won’t be anything left to make it to a steel cage.

The next match on the card is Southern Belle challenging Layla El for her spot.  Belle says to make it more interesting, Layla should put BOTH of her spots (one for the Women’s title and one for the Diva’s title) on the line.  Layla agrees but ONLY on the stipulation that when Belle loses, she loses BOTH of her spots.  She agreed.  GM Master Bull comes out and says that if they choose this stipulation, he wants it best of 3 falls.  Layla takes the first fall in 14 minutes after rolling up Belle after hitting a snapmare.  The second fall was much shorter and in only 5 minutes, Belle gets pinned after Layla hit an armdrag into a rollup for the 3 count.  Southern Belle has now lost BOTH of her title shots.  Layla laughs at her as she leaves the ring. 

We are ready for our next match.  Local wrestler Lucas Johnston comes out first.  He receives a very lukewarm reception from the crowd.  He tries to get the crowd behind him but they are just not very responsive.  CSWA World Champion MW3 comes out to a good pop.   Johnston is not a happy camper.  MW3 makes his way to the ring and asks for a mic.  “The World Champion is in the HOUSE.  I am the kind of champion who will give anyone who is deserving, a match.  This extends to new wrestlers such as this young man Lucas Johnston.  At one time, I was a newbie and worked my way up and now, I’m the World Champion.  Lucas, I’m not sure what is going on here but Phoenix is giving you such a lukewarm reception.  Hey, does that mean your name is now ‘Lukewarm’ Lucas Johnston?”  He chuckles a bit but Johnston takes offense and attacks MW3.  Lots of kicks, eye rakes and choking in the corner did little to get fans behind him.  For 11 minutes, Lucas went toe to toe with the champ and then MW3 took over.  In what turned out to be a 28 minute fight, MW3 gets the win after connection with the MW2 Kneelift.  MW3 gets cheered as he makes his way to the back.  Johnston flipped off the crowd before making his way to the back.

Master Bull makes the announcement that tonight, there will be a contract signing between Diva’s champion Ravishing Raquel and Women’s Champion AJ Lee.

Beer Money are in the back and they say that they will deal with the American Wolves all in good time but tonight, they are taking on the Ascension. Tonight is the night they will be handed their first loss and will hand off their title shot at the Warzone PPV.

We go back to the ring for our handicap match.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and introduces the A-Team members Abyss, Antonio Cesaro and ‘The Man’ Austin Aries.  He then announces their opponent Alberto El Patron.  Alberto slowly makes his way to the ring and Abyss hops out of the ring to meet him.  He rushes at Alberto and Alberto pulls out some brass knuckles and knocks Abyss out.  Antonio and Aries are stunned.  Alberto handcuffs Abyss to the ringpost.  Cesaro then rushes as Alberto is getting into the ring but sidesteps and sends Cesaro flying out of the ring and crashing on the ground.  Aries tries to attack Alberto but Alberto handcuffs Aries to the ring ropes.  Alberto gets out of the ring and brings Cesaro back in the ring.  The bell finally rings and Alberto goes to town.  In 9 quick minutes, Alberto locks Antonio in the Rolling Cross Armbreaker and he gets Antonio to submit right in front of Aries.  Alberto gets the win.  Cesaro rolls out of the ring and Alberto walks over to Aries and drops the handcuff keys before saying “I’ll see you in the cage.”  He then walked away.  The ref uncuffed Aries and he went to the aid of Abyss and Cesaro.

MJ and the Ascension say that their final match against Beer Money is tonight’s Main Event.  They will once and for all destroy them and claim yet another victory.

We go back to the ring for the contract signing between the Women’s Champion AJ Lee and Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel.  Master Bull makes his way to the ring with the contract in hand.  Both women review it and then sign.  They both end up shaking hands and Master Bull raises the arms of both women.  AJ then shoves Master Bull into Raquel and then attacks the Diva’s Champion.  She bounces Raquel’s head off the mat a few times and then nails the Black Widow.  She stands over Raquel holding both titles to the astonishment of the crowd.

Our main event does not take place in the arena; it actually takes place outside in a parking lot.  GM Hulk Hogan and Master Bull have agreed that this match would be a Parking Lot Brawl match with no disqualification and a 60 minute time limit.  The two teams wasted absolutely no time into getting into it.  They are fighting all over the parking lot.  During this full 60 minute fight, we see the Wolves get involved and fight with Beer Money.  We also see the Super Warrior and Warrior of Truth fight with the Ascension.  After both alternate teams are sent away, the two teams continue their fight.  At one point, Bobby Roode blasts Konnor’s head off the hood of a car and Storm runs Viktor over with another car.  We also see Viktor recover and slam the trunk of a car on Bobby Roode’s arm (it wasn’t broken but he won’t be using it for a while).  Storm gets locked in a trunk.  The Ascension nails the Psycho Cutter on Roode.  Just before Viktor can make the cover, the bell sounds bringing this to yet another time limit draw.  Have no fear, GM Hulk Hogan is here.  Hogan says the match will continue.  Viktor connects with the Fade to Black on Roode and makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  The Ascension have won this one in very brutal fashion.  They are still undefeated with an astonishing 11-0 record with this win.  The Ascension are still on for their title match against the tag team champs Donnie B and MW3.  (61 min)

After the match, an exhausted and drained Ascension drag themselves from the parking lot with MJ in tow until they come to a complete stop.  The look up and standing right in front of them is… (the camera goes black and we don’t see who it is).  HMMM.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.14



Hello fans and welcome back to the final January newsletter.  January was a hell of a month for wrestling news and as we lead up to the PPV Warzone in February (tickets on sale now), I expect the news to continue to roll in and our PPV to sell out.

In the back, roving reporter Larry Morton received news that he wanted to break first.  “It turns out that while being stuck in England, Dirk ‘the Pick’ Devon and Cactus Jackie got married!  This was a shocker as we didn’t know they were an item.  We also learned that Jackie got herself a lil’ pick in the oven.  That’s right, according to our sources (it was the Axe who released this information) Jackie is pregnant and has decided to take time off until after the baby is born.  Once she decides to return to the squared circle, she will be known as Cactus Jackie Devon.  Word also has it that their VISA situation may be cleared up sooner rather than later.  If that is the case, maybe they’ll be back before the Warzone PPV.”  Thank you Larry for that update.

It also turns out that we got a video promo from the Pick and the Axe while stuck over in England.  Basically, they badmouthed Rocky Lapetus and said that he better never stick his 6’4” nose in their business ever again.  Pick seemed especially put-off even though he should be happy he got married and has a child on the way.  I guess some people just can’t let things go.

Prestige Inc start off the show with a reminder of their challenge to Kane and the Ascension.  This time, they are challenging them for spot for the 6 man tag team titles.  Reid goes on to clarify.  “Now, I want you to understand and I’ll use little words so you’re simple little minds can understand this.  We are challenging you for your ranking spot.  We don’t want your dog spot, your liver spot or even the spot on your shirt.  6 man title spot.  Now get your asses out here so we can get on with our day.

The Ascension with Kane and MJ make their way to the ring.  They do not look happy.  MJ has a mic.  “I asked you chumps once before if you really want to get your asses handed to you.  If you feel you’re a glutton for punishment, Kane and the Ascension will gladly rip you new asses and send you crying home to momma.  Reid, really, that is the best you can do?  Steal a promo from a decade ago and pretend it’s your own?  Are you that unoriginal?  Wait, don’t answer that.”  While MJ was flapping his gums, Kane and the Ascension hit the ring and it took half a dozen refs and “shirts” to break it up.  GM Master Bull came out and said that these 6 men would wrestle in the main event tonight with the Ascension & Kane’s title spot on the line.  Eventually everyone broke it up and left.

We finally get our matches underway and we start off with Intercontinental Champion Buff Austin defending his title against Ethan Carter III (EC III).  This is a best of 3 falls; 60 minute match.  Carter gets the first fall in 25 minutes.  Buff Austin gets the second fall in 29 minutes.  That only leaves 6 minutes for our final fall.  As we expected, the 60 minute time limit runs out and we have ourselves a draw.  Buff Austin, exhausted, grabs his title and leaves the ring.

We move right on to our next match which is former A-Team member Alberto El Patron taking on the man who is occupying a spot on the A-Team he once occupied; the newest member Abyss.  Patron promised that he would go through each and every one of them and would make them pay.  Abyss said that if Alberto wants to get at Austin, he has to go through him first.  Abyss started strong but soon fizzled out.  Alberto took advantage and beat on the A-Team member for a whopping 20 minutes.  Aries came out after he saw Abyss struggling but a perfectly timed collision between Abyss and Aries sent Austin flying from the ring.  Alberto got the pin on Abyss after hitting a Falling Powerbomb.  After the match and after Abyss rolled out of the ring, Aries tried to attack Alberto but he was waiting for him.  Alberto tried to lock Aries in a Rolling Cross Armbreaker but luckily, Aries was able to escape.  These two will collide sooner rather than later.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and says that he wants to see Alberto vs Austin Aries at the PPV but the champs are already committed.  Hogan promises that before the PPV gets here, Alberto will get a chance to put his hands on Aries…BUT it will be in a handicap match.  The A-Team, in full force, will go 3 on 1 against Alberto.  Aries makes his way up the ramp and shakes hands with the GM and laughs all the way to the back.

In the back, EC III is pissed off and Rockstar Spud is trying to calm him down.  In walk the Desperados and that seems to do it for Carter.  “Well, look who we have here…The Fruit Roll up and the Slim Jim.”  The Stache chuckles under his breath.  “You know, normally we’d be pissed off and kick your asses all over the arena but we’re in too good a mood.”  El Chango chimes in.  “It seems that your mocking of us got the attention of some people over at Betty Crocker (makers of Fruit Roll Ups) and ConAgra Foods (makers of the Slim Jim) and they have made us spokesmen for their product.”  Stache adds “That’s right.  We get endorsements from them as well as some serious cash so what we’re really trying to say is ‘Thanks’ for making us rich without us having to do anything about it.”  El Chango offers them some slim jims (Snap into this) and Fruit Rollups.  They walk away laughing.  EC III throws the food on the floor and then leaves.  Rockstar Spud picks it up, opens the Slim Jim and ‘snaps’ into it.  (Editor’s note:  the new sponsors were nice enough to send the Stache and El Chango a collector’s item which they shared with us.)

We head back to the ring for a 6 man tag team match.  Kenta, Sanada and Tajiri are taking on Keven Steen, Curtis Axel and Jack Swagger.  Wow, it goes to show you that when your team is not all on the same page like Team Steen, it shows just how bad it can get.  Kenta, Sanada and Tajiri just steamrolled over the competition as if no one bothered to show up.  Towards the end of the match, Tajiri spit mist into the eyes of Axel who, in a blinded rage, struck both Swagger and Steen knocking them from the ring.  Tajiri snuck up from behind and rolled Axel up for the 1-2-3.  Steen and Swagger were not happy with Axel and actually left him alone in the ring as they left without him. (16 min)

It is time for singles action again and next we have the A-Team’s Antonio Cesaro taking on American Wolves member Davey Richards.  The two fought for a solid 19 minutes but came to an end after Richards caught Cesaro with the Saito Suplex and scored the pinfall.

It is time for our MAIN EVENT.  Prestige Inc.’s own King Damian Sandow, Magnus and ‘The Elitist’ Reid Rothchild challenge The Ascension w/ Kane for their spot in the 6 man title hunt.  MJ accompanies his team to the ring to meet Prestige Inc who is already in the ring.  This match showed once again the dominance of the Ascension coupled with the ferociousness of the monster Kane.  For 5 minutes, the Ascension tripled teamed Prestige Inc. not giving them any chance to mount a comeback. During the match, Kane hit a tombstone piledriver on Magnus and he barely made it back in before the 10 count.  The Ascension would not let up however and with keeping Sandow and Rothchild busy, Konnor takes Magnus out of the ring again and he and Viktor put him through the Spanish announce table.  Magnus gets counted out.  The match goes to the Ascension but before they could continue the onslaught on Prestige, the World Tag Team Champions MW3 and Donnie B come out to chase off the Ascension and Kane but the damage has been done.  The champs call for the Ascension in the ring but they slowly walk backwards up the ramp all the while staring at the champs in the ring.

This brings the show to an end.  Stay tuned as we expect in the next issue or two to see the PPV line up disclosed. 


HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.13

 (Editor's note: due to this being Superbowl week, we will post all news by tomorrow and leave our writers and fans the time to enjoy other sports.)



The Warriors meet with someone who is hidden by shadows.  SW asks if he wants to join them but the mystery person is reluctant to.  Truth tells this person that the Truth will set him free and that the truth is that our friend will be able to accomplish a lot teaming with them.   The mystery person asks for time to think about this.  SW asks if he could get an answer tonight so he can announce it.  Truth says “You’ve seen whom we emulate.  The Ultimate Warrior.  I know you’ve seen his matches before…everyone has.  Joining us will honor his legacy and cement yours as part of the Warriors.”  The mystery person actually says he has never seen an Ultimate Warrior match but, to see what they stand for, he will go watch one now.  He says he will let the Warriors know tonight of his decision.  Super Warrior says “It’s time…it’s time…it’s Va…I mean Warrior Time.”

AJ Lee calls out Angelina Love and says she wants her title match tonight.  GM Hulk Hogan makes it happen.  AJ turns up the heat like never before.  Lee kept Angelina on the defensive for almost the entire match.  At the 7 minute mark, AJ locks Love in the Black Widow and gets Love to submit.  The second fall begins and Angelina gets the win in 17 after hitting a slingshot Suplex.  The 3rd fall goes 16 minutes and once again AJ locks Love in the Black Widow and once again gets her to tap out.  AJ Lee is once again the Women’s Champion. (40 min)

 AJ then calls down Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel.  Raquel comes down to the ring.  AJ says that the two of them are the best in the business and she says that the two of them should meet at the Warzone PPV with BOTH titles on the line.  Raquel acknowledges says she is not the number one contender but that can change here tonight.  Raquel calls out Gail Kim and challenges her for her spot.

Gail Kim defeats Ravishing Raquel after Raquel got counted out at 3 minutes.  GM Master Bull came out and restarted the match.  Then Ravishing Raquel defeats Gail Kim after Kim got counted out in only 3 min.  Bull came out again and said both matches are wiped off the record books.  They are being given another shot; this time a no DQ match.  This time, the match only goes 2 minutes but sees Raquel get the win after locking Kim in the Ravishing Chickenwing and got her to tap out.

Raquel turns to AJ who is at ringside and says she accepts the match.  At Warzone, it will be Raquel vs AJ with both titles on the line.  The winner will be the sole Diva’s/Women’s Champion.

Kurt Angle is being interviewed and he says that MW3 was the better man in their match.  He hopes that MW3 will do the right thing and give him the rematch he deserves.

MJ and the Ascension take on the Desperados – The Stache and El Chango.   Not sure what is happening with the Ascension as they do not seem to be as dominant as when they first started.  Even though they controlled the match, they could not put the Desperados down.  This one goes to a 30 minute time limit.  Stache and El Chango left the ring mocking the Ascension and MJ, Konnor and Viktor remained in the ring stewing. (30 min)

MW3 is being congratulated on winning the World title.  MW3 says that he is proud to represent the CSWA as the face of the organization but also represents both brands as co-holder of the World Tag Team titles with Donnie B.  MW3 says that he will consider giving Kurt a rematch as long as GM Hulk Hogan says it’s best for business.

Back to the ring and we have Kane vs the Super Warrior in singles action.  Kane and the Super Warrior went toe to toe for about 14 minutes until the Ascension came out.  The Super Warrior got distracted and Kane finished him off with an eye rake (huh, didn’t think that was an ending move but oh well).   The Ascension got into the ring but SW quickly escaped and left the Ascension standing in the ring looking…well…stupid.

The Tag Team Champs Donnie B and his partner the CSWA World Champion MW3 says they are in the Christmas spirit and want to give a team a title match.  Since the Ascension and the Desperados wrestled earlier, they would draw names at random and they pulled Tyson Kidd & Xavier Woods.  This one went 15 minutes and after Kidd slapped Donnie B across the face, Donnie B hit him with a bitch slap of his own and quickly rolled him up for the 1-2-3.  The champs retain.

The A-Team (Antonio Cesaro, Abyss and ‘the Man’ Austin Aries) all come out and say that Wyatt’s Warriors will be getting their title shot at the PPV but they seem to be one man short.  The Super Warrior and Warrior of Truth come out.  Aries asks where their partner is.   The lights go dim and Super Warrior says “Look behind you.”  A dark figure attacks the A-team and almost singlehandedly eliminates the A-team.  The lights come up and the figure removes his mask and it’s…OMG…It’s STING!  Super Warrior gets on the mic and says “I want to introduce you to our new partner…the Scorpion Warrior.”  The crowd pops huge as SW and Truth join the Scorpion Warrior in the ring as the show comes to an end.

In the backstage area, we see Bray Wyatt and he is smiling.  “You chose…wisely, my son.”  He starts to cackle and rocks back and forth in his rocking chair.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – 01.12


Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.   Based on what transpired in the last issue, it seems that Super Warrior and Warrior of Truth are no longer associated with Bray Wyatt.  Wyatt has “freed” them to go on to bigger and better things.  It also seems that word has gotten out that Super Warrior and Warrior of Truth were looking for a 3rd member for their team.  Many different wrestlers cut their own promos and sent them in to vie for that spot.  Among the videos submitted, we had the “Bo-lieve Warrior” Bo Dallas, the “Golden Warrior” Goldust who was interrupted by “Star-Warrior” Stardust, the “Bro-Warrior” Robbie E (who was actually making fun of this), and the “Woo-woo Warrior” Zach Ryder.  Super Warrior said that tonight, he and Truth would make the pick for the 3rd member of their team.

The American Wolves make their way down to the ring and call out Beer Money.  Storm and Roode come out and say they don’t have time for the wolves as they are getting ready for their final match against the Ascension.  They will be the team to finally give the Ascension their first loss.  Edwards and Richards get pissed off as Beer Money brushes them off.

Master Bull says that the 3rd match between Beer Money and the Ascension will not be happening tonight.  Instead, both teams will be facing someone new.  Beer Money gets the American Wolves and the Ascension will get the Miz-fits which is up next.

The Ascension defeat the Miz-fits in 28 minutes after Viktor hit the Fiend with the Fade to Black. The Ascension have been having issues as of late in trying to get their matches over sooner rather than later.  It of course didn’t help that Beer Money was at ringside assisting with color commentating.

World Tag team champs Donnie B and MW3 are being interviewed.  MW3 biggest singles break is happening tonight when he gets a shot at the CSWA World Champion Kurt Angle.  MW3 says that the tag team titles are important but then so is this one.  Donnie B tells MW3 that GM Hulk Hogan is preventing him from accompanying him to ringside but he will be cheering his partner on from the back.

We go back to the ring for the first title match of the night.  Challenger Bobby Lashley comes out first and is followed by US Champion AJ Styles.  Both men shake hands as the bell rings for this best of 3 falls match. In 12 minutes, Bobby scores the first pin after hitting AJ with the Dominator.  When the bell rang to start the second fall, AJ wasn’t looking good.  I think that Dominator took something out of him.  In only 6 minutes after reversing a Styles Clash, Bobby hits another Dominator and makes the cover.  The ref counts 1…2…3 and declares Lashley the winner and NEW US CHAMPION. (18 min total)

The new Intercontinental Champion Buff Austin (formerly known as Senor Vampiro) makes his way out and mocks the HWF roster questioning anyone who could beat him.  Out comes X-Division Champion Tyler Breeze.  Breeze says he could defeat Austin.  Buff backtracks saying that Breeze, although a champion, is not the #1 contender for his title.  Breeze says their match doesn’t need to be for the title.  Just champ vs champ to see who’s got what.  Austin agrees.  Buff Austin was controlling the match and tossed Breeze from the ring.  Tyler quickly rolls back in and hits Buff with a Superkick out of nowhere.  Breeze makes the cover and gets the pin.  Buff rolls out of the ring and grabs his title with a shocked look on his face.  Breeze says it’s inevitable…they will meet again. (7 min)

Next, we are on to a 6 man match with Prestige Inc. challenging Kevin Steen, Curtis Axel and Jack Swagger for their spot.  Team Steen were controlling this match by basically nullifying any interaction from Prestige.  Reid Rothchild was kept in the ring and triple teamed multiple times.  After some action from Magnus and Sandow, Reid makes the hot tag to Magnus.  Magnus hits a Samoan drop but then too is triple teamed.  Magnus makes the hot tag to Sandow who cleans house.  Sandow hits Steen with a spinning elbow drop and makes the cover to get the 1-2-3.  Prestige Inc. move up in the rankings. (19 min)

After a quick video showing the ongoing battle between Sting and Brock Lesnar, we head back to the ring for tag team action.  The American Wolves come out first and are followed by Beer Money.  GM Hulk Hogan comes out and tells Beer Money that their tag team title spot is on the line here also.  They don’t like that.  This one was pretty close the entire match but the edge went to the Wolves. Knowing that their spot was in jeopardy put Beer Money slightly off their game.  In 23 minutes, Eddie Edwards catches Bobby Roode with a superkick.  He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  The Wolves have just taken Beer Money’s tag team title spot.  Holy cow.

Super Warrior and Warrior of Truth make their way out.  They say that they have decided on who was going to be the 3rd member of their team.  They make the introduction and out comes….the “Woo-Woo Warrior” Zach Ryder.  He gets a disappointing reaction.  Ryder runs around the ring comedy relief style until we hear “No, No, No.  I told you to choose wisely.  This is not wise.”  Out walks Bray Wyatt.  Wyatt heads to the ring.  “What are you doing?  Trying to rack up losses?  I told you to choose wisely.  This is not a wise decision.” The Woo-Woo Warrior takes offense and gets into Bray’s face.  Bray immediately hits him with Sister Abigail and Ryder is down.  “Go back and choose again.”  He sends the Warriors from the ring.

We are on the tail end of our show with the first of our 2 main events for the evening.  First, the challenger.  MW3 makes his way to the ring and then is followed out by the champion Kurt Angle.  As expected, Angle controlled the entire match.  Right about the 15 minute mark, MW3 began to start making a comeback but Angle squashed that.  Angle removed his shoulder straps and then turned around into an MW2 kneelift.  MW3 makes the cover and HOLY CRAP, he gets the 1-2-3.  MW3 has just defeated Kurt Angle to become the NEW CSWA WORLD CHAMPION.  “Hold on a minute, brother.”  GM Hulk Hogan comes out.  “World title matches need to be best of 3 falls so I’m making this one continue.”  The ref rings the bell.  The newly crowned champion was not going to let anything stop him and he kept the momentum going.  10 minutes into our 2nd fall, MW3 hits the Superkick and makes the cover getting the win again.  MW3 is officially the CSWA World Champion.  Donnie B comes out and celebrates with his tag team partner.

Hot on the heels of that last match, we head into our main event Sting vs Brock #5.  Sting has decided that this match will have Lights out rules.  Master Bull comes out and says that there is one other thing at stake – Sting’s title shot.   Sting needs to win this one or he will lose his title shot.  In 11 minutes and in true Beast Incarnate fashion, Brock piledrives Sting on the exposed concrete.  Sting is out.  Brock gets the win and also wins the series 4 – 1 over Sting also making him the #1 contender for Bray Wyatt’s HWF World title.  Sting has just lost his shot at the HWF World title.   Sting leaves the ring deflated.  Brock gets on the mic and calls out HWF Champion Bray Wyatt.  Wyatt comes out and stands on the stage and both men stare at each other as the show comes to an end.
