Hello
fans and welcome back to our newsletter.
The show starts right off with ‘the Elitist’ Reid Rothchild. “Master Bull…you and I had been through a
lot together and after everything including the kickbacks (wait…what?) I
provided you with, this is how you repay me?
Stabbing me in the back? Well
guess what… tonight, I get your new protégé ScooterJ in the ring and once and
for all, I’ll teach him a thing or two about manners. Next, I’m going to ask to get YOU in the
ring. That’s right, you’ll get to lace
those boots up one more time and then I will show you pain and suffering and it
will be at my hands. ScooterJ…a word of
advice…don’t trust Master Bull. He is
full of…I’m going to keep this PG…BS.”
The fans start a “BS…BS …BS” chant.
Reid smiles. “Tonight, one of you
fall and then, BS, you’re mine.” Reid
walks off camera.
We
cut to the ring and pyro goes off to kick off tonight’s show. GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that
tonight, we will see two titles defended.
Reid will defend the TV title against ScooterJ and the World Tag Team
Champs the Smashers will defend their titles in our main event against 2
members of the Snake Clan. He has much more planned so he leaves so the match
can begin.
Our
show kicks off with Wilber Townsend making his way out. He appears to be ok after he got hurled off
the stage a few weeks ago. He gets an ok
reaction. The music changes and out
comes the Axe. He gets a much bigger
pop. Wilber begins with a short arm
clothesline and the Axe connects with the Axe.
He goes for a quick pin but Wilber kicks out. Wilber drops Axe with another short arm
clothesline. Wilber tried for a running
senton but Axe nullified it. Wilber
nails the Go To Sleep but Axe rolls out of the ring to avoid being pinned. Axe is back in and locks in a headlock. Wilber hits a lifting sideslam and goes for a
pin but only gets a 2 count. Axe stuns
Wilber with a Belly to Belly
suplex. Wilber hits a lifting forearm
smash and Axe hits the Axe again. He
makes the cover but Wilber kicks out at 2.
Axe locks in another headlock and Wilber nails the Go To Sleep once
again. Wilber rolls him up and with a
handful of tights, manages to get the 1-2-3.
Wilber Townsend wins this one in questionable fashion. He leaves as Axe questions the ref but
nothing happens as there is no instant replay option in wrestling. (8 min)
There
is a commotion backstage and Max runs over to see Reid Rothchild on the floor
busted up. Max immediately calls for
medics and then goes in search of Master Bull and ScooterJ.
Master
Bull and ScooterJ make their way out to the ring. Master Bull says that Reid must have tripped
and bumped his head. The fans begin a
“BS…BS…BS” chant. ScooterJ tells them to
shut up and calls out Max. Max comes out
and he’s livid. ScooterJ says that since
Reid is hurt and can’t defend the TV title ON TV, he should be awarded the
belt. Master Bull backs him up. Max tells them both NO. Max says he will determine who attacked Reid
and once he does, that person or persons will be suspended. Bull and ScooterJ act all innocent in the
ring. Max says that ScooterJ will in
fact get his match but it will not be tonight.
However, ScooterJ will have a match tonight and in fact, it takes place
right now.
Jerry
Saunders makes his way out and he is ScooterJ’s opponent. This match went much longer than anticipated
but as Master Bull pointed out, ScooterJ was good before they teamed up and
this match went to show that he was in fact, a LOT better with Bull in his
corner. Master Bull did manage to slip
ScooterJ a foreign object that was used to bust open Jerry. By the time 17 minutes rolled around, Jerry
could barely stand and was wearing the crimson mask. Bull told ScooterJ to finish him and ScooterJ
hit Jerry with a running clothesline. He
didn’t need to hook the leg or anything as Jerry was out. ScooterJ gets the win. Master Bull raises his arm in
celebration. (17 min)
Backstage,
manager MJ is with the World Tag team Champions the Smashers. In reference to the Snake Clan, Smasher 2 asks
“didn’t we already beat these guys one before?”
MJ says that the champs will dominate as they’ve done since walking into
the HCW and they will walk out with their belts intact.
The
Wraith heads down to the ring. He takes a mic and belittles the Stache for
trying to play mind games with him. He
says the distraction was the only reason that nobody Texas Wildfire got the win
over him…it was by cheating, of course.
The Wraith says he wants another crack at the Wildfire and tells him to
get his ass into the ring. Texas
Wildfire comes out to a good pop. He
runs down to the ring and enters; ready for action. Texas Wildfire began cleaning the Wraith’s
clock. The Wraith was beside
himself. He question what the hell he
got himself into. After hurling Texas
Wildfire out of the ring, he went over and removed a turnbuckle cover. As soon as TW got back in the ring, The
Wraith hurled him right into it seemingly knocking him out. The Wraith then dumped him out of the
ring. The ref counted to 10 and awarded
the match, via CO, to the Wraith. He
laughed as he walked away. (4 min)
Backstage,
P&L (Phat Sol and Lucas Johnston) were talking about being in singles
matches tonight. Phat says he’s got the
Crocodile Hunter and Lucas has Outback Oscar.
The Ambassador comes over and says he will be in both men’s corner so
they have nothing to worry about.
We
go back to the ring where Jesse California makes his way out. Over the loudspeaker rings “VAMPIRE LUNGES
FOR EVERYONE!” and out comes Ant Graham and Dr. Red Fang. Fang rushes the ring and attacks Jesse. Jesse connects with a swinging
neckbreaker. Ant then hits Jesse in the
knee with his cane and Jesse’s leg gives way.
Dr. Red Fang locks in a spider web lock and almost immediately Jesse
taps out. Dr. Red Fang won this one very
quickly. Dr. Red Fang hollers “Bring me
the Fiend!” (1 minute via submission)
We
cut to the back again and the Queen’s Court is in session. Queen Beckett says that united they are
unbeatable but divided, they are lost.
She says that they will be in action as a team and will prove to all
that the Court is the highest law in the land.
It’s
time to go back to the ring for our next match.
First, accompanied by his manager the Ambassador, it’s one half of
P&L: Phat Sol. He saunters down to the ring and starts
bouncing around the ring awaiting his opponent.
Music hits and out comes the Crocodile Hunter. Phat’s eyes go all wide and he scurries to
the corner to confer with his manager.
The match kicks off and Croc just DOMINATES. Phat only got in one offensive move in 6
minutes. Finally, the Ambassador got
involved on Phat’s behalf and he started his offensive run. About 13 minutes into the match, Croc got
tired of the Ambassador’s interference and he chased him away from the
ring. That left Phat all by himself and
he didn’t do well on his own. The
Crocodile Hunter ends up hitting the Croc’s Throne and he made the cover for
the 1-2-3. The Crocodile Hunter is
victorious in this one. Phat left
looking for his manager. (17 min)
Backstage,
Phat finds the Ambassador who is with ‘Red Hot’ Lucas Johnston. Phat asks why he ran and didn’t stay. The Ambassador didn’t want Croc putting his
hands on him so he came back here to get Lucas but by the time they were
heading to the ring, it was all over.
The Ambassador says that Lucas’ match is up next and this time, he’s not
going anywhere.
We
head back to the ring and the Ambassador is leading Lucas Johnston out to the
ring. Lucas waits as his opponent
Outback Oscar makes his way to the ring.
At the direction of the Ambassador, he has Lucas attack Oscar off the
bat but ends up getting dumped out of the ring.
The Ambassador then sucker punches the ref resulting in a
disqualification. Oscar gets the win in
just under a minute via DQ. He’s not
happy about it but a win is a win…I guess.
The
Snake Family (Niven, Leiton and Tobias) are backstage being interviewed. They do ‘rock, paper, scissors’ to see which
two of them will represent their family.
Niven and Leiton win. They will
do what no one else to date has been able to do…defeat the Smashers and take
those Tag Team titles.
The
Queens Court (Lady Hermann, Queen Beckett and the British Crippler) all head to
the ring amidst the booing from the fans. Next, Betsy & Felicia Cummings
come out and the fans cheer a little until they are joined by Taylor Bella who
is booed (fans still dislike her from her attack on Madame Jade). The twins and their new partner really tore
into the Court keeping them at a disadvantage for the majority of the match
with lots of double and triple teaming.
About 8 minutes in, the Court took over and crushed poor Betsy. It wasn’t until the hot tag was made 5
minutes later that Taylor Bella began to clean house. She first took out Beckett and Lady Hermann
and then dumped (unceremoniously I might say) the British Crippler out of the
ring. The Court regrouped and tried to
take back control but by now, the twins and Taylor had this one locked up. Felicia kept hitting the sitout facebuster
and her sister hit a springboard armdrag.
Taylor would hit a face plant.
They kept up this level of offense till the end of the match. Betsy just made the tag to Felicia who got
hit by the Michinoku Driver by the British Crippler and made the tag to
Taylor. Lady Hermann was then tagged
in. Taylor hit the ropes and caught
Lady Hermann with a monkey flip. She
then made the cover and hooking the leg got the 1-2-3. The Cummings twins and Taylor Bella got the
win. The crowd was a bit more appreciate
of their efforts but Taylor flipped off the crowd and the booing ensued. (23 min)
GM
Max McGillicutty came out and announces that the HCW has received permission to
branch out from the four corner states and the Oct PPV will in fact take place
in San Diego, CA.
It’s
now time for our main event. The
challengers Niven & Leiton Snake come out first to a mixed reaction from
the crowd. Next, manager MJ and the tag
team champs the Smashers make their way out to horrendous booing from the crowd. Just as they make it to the ring, the music
changes and the Steel Curtain (Buzz and Starbuck Steel) make their way
out. The glare at the champs as they go
to sit at commentary. The challengers
try to take advantage of the distraction and attack the champs as soon as the
bell rings. It didn’t really help as the
champs doubleteamed Leiton right off the bat.
After MJ tried to interfere and backed off after the Steel Curtain stood
up, the Snakes took control. Leiton
connected with both a pedigree facebuster as well as a curb stomp but to no
avail. Niven had his opportunity but
didn’t make much of it. MJ then
distracted Niven and Leiton caught Smasher #2 with a curb stomp. He immediately tagged in Smasher #1 who then
hurled Leiton from the ring. He dropped
him hard on the steel steps and ran him into the ringpost. Smasher #1 crawled back in the ring just
before the 10 count and Leiton is counted out.
The Smashers win this one via countout.
They tried to go after Leiton again but the Steel Curtain stood up and
the teams stared at each other as the show came to an end.
That’s
all we have for right now. Stay tuned
for more action.
