Welcome
everyone to our first newsletter of the 2016 season. All of the HWF and CSWA hope you had a very
Merry Christmas and will have an outstanding new year.
GM
Max McGillicutty comes out and thanks everyone for their support in 2015 and
promises that 2016 will continue to expand the brands reach all over the
world. Max then says that he is in the
works to bring in more new talent as the year progresses and will continue to
enhance the roster. He then adds that
not all of the performers in their respective top 10’s got the title shots they
deserved. In an effort to give everyone
who is due a title shot receives it, they will be mixed in via a
tournament. Finally, he says that a fan
has sent in her renditions of Madame Jade, Taylor Bella, Magnum Kone, the
Stache and CJ. They were shown on the
Omegatron for the audience live and watching on TV to see. When done, the artist received an
ovation. Max then departs the stage as
pyro goes off to kick off the show.
A
gong sounds and the lights go out and the Undertaker makes his way down to the
ring. Taker gets in the ring and
immediately complains about how John Cena cheated to win their match (even
though Taker did most of the cheating).
He feels that he is still the only person who can dethrone the Triple
Crown Champion Bray Wyatt. He adds that
he holds the key that will give him the advantage and introduces “The
Forgotten”. Music changes and out comes
3 new wrestlers. They make their way to
the ring and Undertaker introduces them as “The Forgotten”…the humongous Braun
Stroman, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.
Undertaker says that Bray once led these three but then only thought
about himself and left them behind. Bray
then opted to align himself first with the Ascension and now with the
Desperados basically saying these three men mean absolutely nothing to
him. Undertaker says he is going to
unleash them on the HWF and CSWA and heaven help anyone who gets in their way.
The
Forgotten are in the first match of the night and their opponents make their
way out. Robbie E, ECIII and Rockstar
Spud are in the house. The Forgotten
practically destroyed their opponents with such ferocity we haven’t seen in
quite a while. The three newcomers
demolished their opponents and even injured Ethan Carter III early on after a
triple powerbomb through a table. It
took him almost 15 minutes to recover but he eventually rejoined the match…not
that he really helped at all. After
rejoining the match and was just getting destroyed, he made a hot tag to Robbie
E who entered only to get caught in a spinning side slam by Luke Harper. Harper makes the cover and gets the
1-2-3. The Forgotten then beat down on
Robbie E, ECIII and Spud for a few moments before hurling all 3 from the
ring. The Undertaker gets back in the
ring and tells the world that the Forgotten are here…for blood. (24 min)
John
Cena is in the back and sets the record straight that he defeated the Deadman
at his own game and that he should be the one to take on Bray and dethrone
him. John says that if the Undertaker is
looking for another fight, he doesn’t have to look far but since he has 2 wins
over Taker, he should be getting the next title shot at Bray.
A
vignette airs from the one and only Hashtag:
CJ. “First and foremost the
#hashtag would love to thank his little socialite for following and supporting
him...and second he would like to humbly apologize for NOT taking care of the
pedophile and the lip beaver when he had a chance and as he promised....cj is
very disappointed in himself and to his millions of little socialites all
around the world....but rest assured the #hashtag is not satisfied with his
performance and is hitting the gym, the streets and the mat........ he will spend
a little more time refocusing and a little less time talking.....actions will
speak louder than even his words #hashtag out” ... CJ drops the mic as the
picture fades.
We
head back to the ring for our next match.
Charlotte Flair vs Madison Rayne.
This one was pretty even with neither woman giving an inch. Madison lands a standing Shiranui and then
turned and gloated to the audience.
Charlotte got to her feet and then threw Madison into the corner. She then began laying in multiple chops to
Madison’s chest and then after winding up, she hit a chop that sent Madison
flying over the top rope. Madison lands
on the floor and her eyes are all bugged out and she seems freaked out and then
backs away from the ring resulting in her getting counted out. Charlotte gets the win via CO. (6 ½ min)
We
cut to Max’s office and he says that tonight’s main event will be the Ascension
taking on the Dudley’s in a Hell in a Cell.
Neither team is expecting this so he’s already keeping the wrestlers on
their toes.
Time
to go back to the ring for the 3rd match of the night. Attitude Adjustment (Abyss & Adam Rose)
vs the Enforcers (Ryback & Mark Henry).
Former CSWA World Champion Samoa Joe did not accompany his
teammates. The Enforcers overwhelmed
Abyss and Rose. There must have been
some serious anger issues going on as Henry and Ryback dismantled the AA and
after Henry splashed Abyss in the corner with a body avalanche, he made the
cover and got the 1-2-3. The Enforcers
take home a solid win. (21 min)
The
Ascension are being interviewed and they say that they will deal with the
Dudley Boys and then will take on the Steel Curtain. Konnor warns the Starbuck and Buzz Steel to
stay out of their business tonight or there will be hell to pay. MJ, still wearing a neckbrace, leans over and
says “HELL to PAY.”
New
Day vs the X-Factor is up next. Xavier
Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston held their own against the team comprised of AJ
Styles, Christopher Daniels and Austin Aries.
The X-Factor controlled the tempo of the match but New Day stayed right
with them. AJ gets injured at the hands
of New Day but Aries and Daniels held their opponents at bay until AJ was able
to recover. He still sat out for about 8
minutes at the insistence of Aries.
Finally, AJ is back in and drops Xavier with a Springboard Face
Smash. Kofi runs in for the save and
Aries makes his way in to the ring.
After a few minutes of brawling, Aries nails Kofi with a slingshot
corkscrew press and as Daniels and Styles take out Big E and Xavier, Aries gets
the 1-2-3. The X-Factor get the win in
this fairly close match. (23 min)
The
Dudley’s say that the Ascension reign of stupidity comes to an end
tonight. Bubba says that Viktor and
Konnor survived their PPV match but tonight, in Hell in a Cell, the Road
Warrior wannabees will be put to rest once and for all. D’von leans in and says “Testifyyyyyyyyyy!”
Back
to the ring for more action leads us to our next match with The Band vs the
Varsity Club’s Jack Swagger and Bo Dallas.
Dirk and the Axe started off strong but then for whatever reason, they
started to bicker. This allowed Swagger
and Bo to beat down on their opponents.
About 15 minutes into the match, Dirk walked out leaving the Axe alone
in the ring. Jack Swagger then hit Axe
with the Oklahoma Stampede and got the pin.
Axe immediately rolled out of the ring and charged to the back. (16 min)
Max
notes that Leon Teremoto has been moved from the CSWA to the HWF so that he can
officially be part of the Desperado team.
It
is time for the Main Event: The Ascension
vs the Dudleys in a Hell in a Cell match.
The cage is lowered and encompasses the ring. The Dudley’s come out first. They are then followed by MJ, Viktor and
Konnor. MJ gets on the mic and explains
how this will go down. First, they will
destroy whatever mythos surrounds the Dudley’s and then will finally move on. These two had a drag down, all-out war
against each other. This battle went on
for over 70 minutes. Right off the bat,
The Dudleys crush Konnor against the cage putting him out of commission. Viktor held his own until his partner had
recovered enough to get involved again.
Both teams used the cell as a weapon and by the time 30 minutes had
elapsed, all 4 were wearing crimson masks.
And still they fought. At one
point, D’von pulled out a table and set Konnor up on it. Viktor took him out and then hit a huge
powerslam on Bubba on the table just as Konnor rolled out of the way. We thought these two put everything they had
into the match and then they just surprised us by turning it up a notch. D’Von got slingshot into the cage. Bubba set Viktor up for a Bubba Cutter but
Konnor ran over and ate it on behalf of his partner. Viktor then hit Bubba with the Psycho
Cutter. Viktor rolled over and draped an
arm over Bubba. The ref counted
1…2…3. The Ascension win this one in 72
minutes of pure Hell. MJ celebrates on
the outside yelling “I told you so”.
With
that, our first show of the New Year comes to an end. Stay tuned as things are only getting
started.
