fans and welcome back to our newsletter.
It is great to be back up and running and our fans just keep clamoring
for more.
Today’s
show begins with GM Max McGillicutty making his way out to address the
audience. Max says that he is starting
off with a whopper of an announcement.
He says that the February PPV, formerly known as Warzone will undergo a
name change. This February, the PPV will
be known as “King of the Ring” and the main event will see a new “King” be
crowned. There is also one more
change. The October PPV has been
Wargames and this year, it will be Halloween Havoc. After Max took a second to catch his breath, Prestige Inc. member King Damian Sandow comes
out. Sandow reminds Max that he is the
one true King. Max agrees with Sandow
and says that the winner of the tournament will fight Sandow for the rights to
the King moniker and that person will be eligible for a future World Champion
match. Max tells Sandow that he and
Magnus will be in action tonight. Sandow
smiles and leaves. Max leaves the stage
and pyro goes off to start the show.
Our
first match of the night is tag team action.
A new team is debuting and on the Omegatron, it reads “The Tide is
Ryzing” and out comes the team of Travis (Dark Storm) and Terra Ryzing. The two ignore the fans and get laughed at as
they make their way to the ring. Their
opponents, Primo and Epico, the Colon’s, make their way to the ring. The Ryzing Storm attacks the Colon’s and the
match begins. This one went a long way
with the Colon’s owning the match for a whopping 26 minutes. Finally, Dark Storm and Terra got on the same
page and destroyed the Colon’s for a solid two minutes. After Travis dropped Epico with the Dark
Storm, he tagged out to Terra who destroyed Epico with a tilt a whirl
backbreaker. He superkicks Primo of the
apron and then makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3. Ryzing Storm gets their first win at the 29
minute mark. The fans boo them as they
leave.
In
the interview area, Prestige Inc (Sandow, Magnus and Reid Rothchild) are there
in force. Sandow and Magnus say they are
ready for their match and Reid says he has a match tonight. They do not care who; they just want a match.
We
go to the ring for our next match which has Charlotte Flair taking on Beautiful
People member Velvet Sky. Sky was
accompanied to the ring by her teammates Angelina Love and Madison Rayne. Charlotte started off by ramming Velvet into
the steel steps injuring her knee. The
Beautiful People tried to interfere but the ref was on top of his game. Charlotte ends up trapping Velvet in the
Figure 8 and Velvet taps out. Angelina
and Madison hit the ring and attack Charlotte.
After beating her down, Velvet hits Charlotte with the Beauty Mark. The Beautiful People leave Charlotte beaten
and broken in the ring. As they walk
off, Charlotte gets up and says that if the Beautiful People want to attack in
force, she will have her own muscle to back her up next show. Love tells her to bring it. (8 min for the match; 15 for the segment)
The
Shield (Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose) say that they are ready to
work their way back up to the 6 man championship and they’ll start tonight with
the Enforcers.
Back
in the ring, the Nigerian Wraith is being challenged for his spot for the World
title. The man challenging
him…Kane. There really wasn’t much to
this match as Kane destroyed the Wraith.
He toyed with him for about 10 minutes and finally, he climbed to the
top rope and nailed a top rope clothesline.
Kane made the cover and got the easy 1-2-3. Kane moves over to the World title scene and
the Wraith moves over to the IC title scene…a title held by his tag team
partner Sonic Blade. (11 min)
The
Elitist Champion Reid Rothchild makes his way to the ring but tonight, his
title is not on the line. His opponent
is Steel Curtain member Buzz Steel. Buzz
starts off the match with hitting the Buzzkill and from there, he owned the
match. Reid tried to recover but failed
miserably. Buzz ends up wiping the mat
with Reid and gets the pin after hitting a german suplex. Buzz Steel has just qualified for a title
match for the Elitist Title. (10 min)
Drew,
the Canadian Love Machine and the Savior say that they will accept the match
against Prestige Inc and they will show why they are the premier tag team in
the HWF and CSWA.
The
Shield make their way to the ring first.
Music hits and out comes the Enforcers – AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels
and Samoa Joe. This one was another
massacre. The Shield completely
destroyed the Enforcers. Samoa Joe’s
heart wasn’t in it and after he got tagged in, he really didn’t put up much of
a fight. Roman Reigns ends up destroying
Joe with a Spear and a quick 1-2-3. The
Shield move up in the rankings for the 6 man titles. (9 min)
After the match, AJ and Daniels tried to get Joe to open up but Joe was
just depressed.
Lucas
Johnston is being interviewed and he says that what Dr. Red Fang did to Larry
Morton was reprehensible. If Fang feels
the need to fight, Lucas says he’ll give him that fight.
It
is time for our main event. First, the
Canadians (Drew and the Savior) come out first.
They are then followed by King Damian Sandow and Magnus. Prestige Inc. took the match to their challengers
but the Canadians would not quit. Half
way through the match, Drew and the Savior took over the match and scored
multiple pin attempts but the quick work of Prestige kept their match alive. This went on for a full 30 minutes. Just as the match was winding down, Drew
started blasting Sandow with rapid chops.
His Lordship, in an act of desperation, dropped Drew with a double arm
neckbreaker. The bell rang bringing this
one to an end before Sandow could make the cover. All four men stared at each other but were
too tired to continue the battle. The
show then came to an end.
