HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #419

Hello fans and welcome back to the action.  GM Max McGillicutty is back running the show and says that Ric Flair and, to some degree Zack Ryder, did a decent job filling in but at the end of the day, this show is his responsibility and only he answers to the owners on why a show succeeds or fails.  Max says that tonight, in the main event, Miz will be defending the US title against Abyss.  The Tag Team Champs the Steel Curtain will also be in action.  Magnum Kone vs CJ will also be on the card.  Now, it’s time for the show to kick off.

Tonight’s show begins with Madame Jade taking on Cactus Jackie.  It’s worth noting that Diva’s Champion Jupiter Jane has not been accompanying her tag team partner to the ring.  This reader seems to think that these two may be on the outs.  Cactus Jackie is in the ring and she rubbing her eyes and saying “boo hoo…I don’t have a partner anymore.  Boo hoo.  You know what Jade, I don’t need a partner.  I am this good on my own.  I don’t need anyone holding me back or taking credit for my work.  I win based on just how damn good I am.”  Jade takes the mic from her.  “Prove it bitch.”  This one went a pretty long distance with Madame Jade controlling the bulk of the match.  Just when Jackie would start an offensive run, Jade just shut her down.  At the end of the match, Jackie threw Jade to the ropes and Jade hopped up on the second rope, quickly turned and caught Jackie with a flying dropkick.  Jade makes the cover and gets the win.  Madame Jade celebrates her win.  (17 min)

Taylor Bella is in the back and she runs into Beautiful People member Madison Rayne.  Rayne makes fun of her because none of the Bellas hold gold whereas Beautiful People member Angelina Love is the Women’s Champion.   Taylor replies and says that makes Rayne a loser since she doesn’t hold gold.  Madison started to get ticked off.  Velvet Sky and the Women’s Champion then joined Madison but then Nikki and Brea joined their sister and the 6 women had a staredown.  Taylor says that the Beautiful People should take on the Bellas and see really who the better team is.  Velvet speaks for her team and says “Anytime, Anywhere”.  Brea Bella says “then tonight is the night.  You better be ready.”  Both teams then separated.

Our next match on the card is 6 man tag team competition with the Varsity Club taking on the Shield.  The Shield’s ranking in on the line here.  Jack Swagger reminds everyone that they took the A-Team, perhaps one of the best 6 man teams in the HWF and CSWA to the time limit.  If they can stand toe to toe with them, the Shield should be a cakewalk.   Kurt Angle walks down and sits at ringside watching his team.  For 8 minutes, the Varsity club looked like they struggled and then Swagger and Bo both get injured at the hands of Reigns and Rollins incapacitating them for 3 minutes.  Frankie Kazarian, though, held his own.  He cleaned house against the Shield and held them at bay until Swagger and Bo recovered.  Swagger was pissed and after making the hot tag, turned up the heat against the Shield.  Even Bo Dallas got in some great shots.  As time went on, the Shield struggled more and more but constant saves kept the team alive.  All of a sudden, the bell rings signaling the time has run out.  The Varsity Club OWNED the Shield and after the match, Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose slunk away.  Angle celebrated with his team in the ring but then Kurt called out GM Max McGillicutty.  Kurt said that the Varsity Club stood toe to toe with the best and if not for a time limit draw, they would have beaten their teams.  Kurt asks for the Varsity Club to get a shot at the champs the A-Team.  Max thinks about it and says he agrees and will give the next title shot to the Varsity Club. While the Varsity Club celebrates in the ring, the A-Team (Antonio Cesaro, Alberto del Rio and Adrian Neville) run in from the crowd and drop the Varsity Club. The Champs surround Angle who goes on the offensive but the numbers overwhelm him.  After the A-Team finished beating down Kurt, they stood holding their titles high in the ring.  (30 min for the match; 35 for the segment)

Sting is in the back being interviewed about his match against IC Champion Sonic Blade.  Sting says that Tyler Breeze cost him the title and says that if he was really a man, he’d face him in the ring and then we’d see who the better man really is.

Hardcore Champion Magnum Kone heads to the ring and no longer associates with the fans.   It’s interesting to note that since his heel turn, Kone has been on a losing streak.  I guess not having the fans cheer and support him has really affected his game.  Kone’s opponent CJ comes out next and gets a pop.  CJ makes his way to the ring but before he can enter, new music hits and the Stache comes out on stage dressed in a referee shirt.  Stache says that he has been granted permission to be the special guest referee for this match and promises to call it right down the middle.  Stache walks by CJ and gets in the ring.  Magnum gets in the Stache’s face and tells him he better not screw him or he’d tear him limb from limb.  Stache puts his hands up in a “who me?” gesture.  We all know that the Stache has it in for CJ but he also wants that hardcore title. For 10 minutes, the Stache stood back and just let Magnum beat on CJ.  Finally, he broke it up and Magnum got into the Stache’s face.  CJ regained his composure and went on the offensive.  CJ dazzled Magnum with kicks, lefts and rights and put the champ on the defensive.  Just towards the end of the match, Kone whipped CJ into the corner but the Stache *seemed* to purposely get in the way and crashed to the mat.  Kone then set up CJ for the popsicle and nailed it but the Stache was down and could not make the count.  Magnum goes over and shakes the Stache to wake him up.  Stache, not remembering where he was lashed out catching Magnum in the face with a kick.  Kone wobbled backwards and CJ locked in a guillotine choke.  Magnum was fading but not fast enough for the Stache’s liking.  He raised Magnum’s hand once (it dropped), a second time (dropped again) and then the third time, it didn’t fall and just went it seemed Magnum was going to recover, Stache forcibly pulled Magnum’s arm down and awarded the match to CJ via submission.  Stache then ends up attacking both CJ and Magnum but the two opponent’s battle back and hurl Stache from the ring.  CJ then turns to Magnum and sends him sailing.  Everyone eventually leaves the ring. (17 min)

The Steel Curtain (tag team champs) are in the back and they say that tonight, they take on their old nemesis the Ascension and once and for all will drive them out of the tag team scene.

Next we have Gail Kim challenging Paige for her placement.  Paige should be next in line for a shot at the Women’s title but only if she can hold off the challenge from a former champ.  This had to be one of the closest matches as far as how even these two were in recent memory.  Both women traded blow for blow and stood their ground.  Paige goes for a fishermans’ suplex but Gail powers out and locks in a dragon sleeper right in the middle of the ring.  Paige taps out awarding the match and the next title shot to Gail Kim.  (11 min)

Just as Gail is getting ready to leave, the Beautiful People (Angelina Love, Velvet Sky & Madison Rayne) come out and interrupt her.  Love says that it doesn’t matter who her next opponent will be, her title isn’t going anywhere.  Gail leaves just as the Bella Trio (Nikki, Brea & Taylor) all make their way out.  The smack talk changes from insulting Gail to insulting the Bellas.  The Bellas immediately go on the offensive but the Beautiful People bail.  Finally the match begins.  The Beautiful People controlled the tempo of the match and kept Taylor sequestered from her sisters. Just as Taylor was going to score a pinfall on Madison, Angelina causes a distraction and the ref shifts his gaze for only a moment. Velvet pulls Madison out of the ring and sneaks in and rolls Taylor up.  The ref turns to see a pin attempt and slaps the mat 3 times awarding the match to the Beautiful People.  Madison, Velvet and Angelina all quickly leave the ring laughing while Taylor tries to explain Velvet was not the legal person.  The ref throws up his hands and just leaves.  Taylor is steaming.  The Bella’s calm their sister down and whisper in her ear.  Her anger subsides and a smile appears.  They then leave.  (8 min)

The US Champion the Miz says that ever since he defeated John Cena, his career has been skyrocketing (actually, he hasn’t defended the title since).  Miz says that Abyss will feel exactly what Cena did…the taste of defeat.  He then laughs.

Back to the ring for more action.  The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor) come out first with MJ and MJ takes the mic and says that tonight the Ascension take back what is rightfully theirs – the tag team titles.  He is interrupted when the champs the Steel Curtain (Buzz & Starbuck Steel) come out.  The champs hit the ring and MJ bails.  This one doesn’t get to go very long as MJ stuck his nose where it didn’t belong.  Thinking he was doing his team a favor, he grabbed a steel chair and threw it to Konnor.  Konnor grabs the chair but Buzz hits a superkick to the chair and it hits Konnor in the face.  The ref sees this and immediately disqualifies the Steel Curtain.  Konnor and Viktor get the win but not the belts.  Konnor seems really pissed off and goes after MJ.  Viktor follows him leaving the champs in the ring. (4 min)

We cut to the back for a promo from CJ: 

“Ohhh poor poor madame clowns...the queen of all clowns.....you see here....I know what your gonna say, ohhhh they don't deserve a shot....they aren't contenders...ohhh it wasn't fair CJ was ringside...you see I never interfered I never stepped in....not until the match was over....and believe me Yosemite Sam that was just a taste of what is coming your way!!!! Cuz you see I plan on bringing it.....I may take a lump or two...but both of you are going to know that you we're in one hell of a match..... and when the blood flys...the crowd stops cheering and that bell is rung there will be only 1....no excuses no interference no whining no crying, no excuses and NO HOLDS BARRED...and when that gold is slung back on my shoulder the whole world will know that the hardcore championship is back where it belongs!!!! And if by some small chance....some miracle 1 of you 2 dingleberries wins, believe me I'll congratulate you...hell I might even shake your hand.....but I'm not gonna run down here and interfere with your next match...or grab a cronie or 2 to jump you in the back....I'll take my ass back to the gym hit some weights.... run some miles and return to work my way back to the top and I will whip your ass from pillar to post!!!! So you 2 simpletons better be ready because CJ is already hitting those laps....and pushing that iron...so rest assured hwf cswa fans I WIILL BE BRINGING MY A GAME, and I WILL GET THAT GOLD!!!! SEE YOU 2 ASS CLONES IN HELL IN A CELL CJ OUT!!! (drops the mic)

It is time for our main event.  The Miz defends the US title against Abyss.  Abyss comes out with his Attitude Adjustment tag team partner Adam Rose.  Miz comes out first and then is followed by his MizFit tag team partner the Fiend.  The match begins and after blocking a flurry of blows from Abyss, Miz took over and controlled the entire match.  The Fiend did stop Adam Rose from interfering and the two of them fought all the way to the back.  Abyss looked perturbed that his partner left.  That hesitation allowed for the Miz to hit a legsweep facebuster and roll him up (with a hook of the tights for good measure) for the 1-2-3.  The Miz successfully retains his title.  The show comes to an end as Miz climbs the turnbuckle and holds the title high.  BUT WAIT…What’s this…Phat Sol sneaks in from the audience and goes up to the Miz and grabs him and hurls him down from the turnbuckle to the mat below.  Phat then grabs the title and holds it high before dropping it as Miz regained his composure.  I think Phat Sol just made himself an enemy.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #418

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  With the success the last show had after being helmed by the Nature Boy Ric Flair, GM Max McGillicutty decided that this evening’s entertainment, even though he is onsite, he will pick a wrestler at random and that person will run tonight’s show.   Max takes a dart and throws it at a (conveniently created) poster with the roster’s names all listed.  It lands on…Zack Ryder.  Max yells “CRAP” and just as he was going to try it again, Ryder walks by and sees this and goes “Woo woo woo.  I’m in charge.  Just you watch…tonight’s gonna be the night Zack Ryder becomes a house hold name.  Woo woo woo.”

Ryder comes out and introduces himself as the stand in GM for the night.  Ryder says that he’s going to give everyone the matches they want to see.  Zack then says that even though tonight’s main event is Sonic Blade vs Sting for the Intercontinental title, he is inserting himself into the mix.  Ryder says tonight is his night to get gold.   He then calls out the competitors for our first match. 

Match 1:  Taylor Bella vs Summer Rae for Summer’s title spot.  This one went 19 minutes and Summer defended her spot in the lineup like a champ.  Summer retains her spot after hitting Taylor with a reverse kneeling facebuster and rolling her up for the pin.

The Stache makes his way out and mocks Magnum Kone for not having the “cajonies” to accept the challenge.  The Hardcore champion makes his way out and tells the Stache he actually has accepted the stipulation.  He will take on the Stache tonight and CJ at the next show.  Once he defeats them both, they will be removed from the top 10 and will be nothing more than a fleeting memory.  He walks off.

Ryder is back out taking about how great the show is so far (people start to boo him) but he tells the fans to hold fast as our next match is getting ready.

Match 2:  Canadian superstars the Savior and Drew, the Canadian Love Machine come out for their match against the Uso’s.  The Savior was destroying Jey Uso but after Dirk Devon and the Axe (the Band) came out and distracted them, the Uso’s turned up the heat.  Dirk attacked the Savior on the outside of the ring dropping him with the Pearl Drum Drop leaving Drew on his own.  He could not fight off the double teaming and ended up getting pinned after he got hit with a chop and elbow drop from Jey.  After the match, the Axe attacked Drew hitting him with the Axe and the Band was booed while medics came out to help the Savior and CLM.  (25 min)

Zack is back out again and says that the Band will feel the reprecussions of their interference in good time.  He says that the Old West meets Ice Cream in this next match.

Match 3:  The Stache vs Magnum Kone.  If Kone wins, the Stache will not get a title match.  CJ makes his way out and goes to sit at commentary; a move that pissed off both Kone and the Stache.  Before the match could begin, Magnum went over and got into CJ’s face and started to jawjack.  The Stache took advantage of the distraction and blasted Magnum with repeated chair shots.  He rolled Kone back in and in just 5 minutes, he gets Magnum to tap out to the Handlebar (camel clutch).  The Stache then turned his focus to CJ who appeared in the ring.  A surprised Stache gets caught with a superkick and he drops like a sack of potatoes.  CJ laughs and then leaves the ring.  (5 min)

Zack is back out and says that it is time for a title to be defended.  He introduces the next match:

Match 4:  The 6-Man champs the A-Team (Alberto el Patron, Adrian Neville and Antonio Cesaro) come out first.  Alberto has a mic and says that after setting a dispute over a name, he is back to using Alberto Del Rio.  Del Rio and his teammates head to the ring.   The challengers, the Varsity Club (Jack Swagger, Kazarian and Bo Dallas) led by Kurt Angle come out next.  The Varsity Club took the champs to school.  The A-team didn’t know what hit them and had lots of trouble trying to figure things out.  The only thing on the champs side tonight was the time limit.  After this one went the distance and ended in a time limit draw, the champs grabbed their belts and took off.  Kurt and the Varsity Club celebrated briefly and then left.  (30 min)

Zack came back out and basically called the last match boring.  He was hoping for some serious action but both teams let him down.  He says that when he’s in the main event tonight, it will be spectacular.  Until then, though, here’s another match.

Match 5:  Kalisto vs the Nigerian Wraith for his title spot.  Zack stayed out on the ramp and really seemed bored with this match too.  There were some high spots but our temp GM didn’t seem to care.  Kalisto ends up retaining his place after dropping the Wraith with an enzuigiri.  (20 min)

Zack says that the main event will be a 60 minute battle.  He takes off his coat and makes his way to the ring.  He introduces Sting next and then the IC champion Sonic Blade.  Blade actually got the biggest pop of the night.  Zack didn’t much care for that.  Zack says that whomever scores the most pinfalls in the 60 minutes will become the new Intercontinental Champion.  Zack Ryder scored the first pin on Sonic Blade in 19 minutes after dropping him with a missile dropkick.  Sting scored the second fall on Ryder after he nailed him with a  Stinger Splash in the corner and got the 1-2-3 in 12 minutes.  The 3^rd fall ends up going to the champ after Sting got counted out after being attacked by Tyler Breeze in 6 ½ min.  Breeze said that he was supposed to be the #1 contender.  Breeze said that it was a good thing for Ryder that he was the temp GM or he would have been taken out just like Sting.  Ryder says that since Sting is not fit to continue this match, he and Sonic Blade would continue this one in singles action.  The champ returned to his old self and took the match to Ryder.  After beating him around the ring, Blade hits the Alhambra attack (tackle) and pins Ryder for the 1-2-3.   Sonic Blade retains the title.  Tyler Breeze jumps in and goes to attack Blade but Sting shows back up and destroys Breeze.  Breeze runs away and shakes his fist at Sting as he cautiously backs-up up the ramp never taking his eyes off the Stinger.  Sting and Sonic Blade shake hands as the show comes to an end.  The camera man goes to focus on Zack Ryder who’s been laid out on the outside of the ring.  The camera fades to black.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #417

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Our show today is coming to you from Charlotte, NC – the home of the ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair.  Flair comes out to kick off the show and he says that GM Max McGillicutty has made him ‘GM for a day’ and he gets to call the shots today.  Flair says the show will kick off with someone who was unlikable but now seems to have the fans on his side – Flair introduces…CJ!

Flair is waiting on the ramp but there is no CJ.  Wait, coming in from the crowd…there he is.  CJ makes his way through the crowd and then climbs into the ring.  He asks for a mic. 

“Charlotte nc......wow the home of so many greats, so much to live up too........ so, first, Thank You Nature Boy.  Next, let me be the 1st to apologize to you and the entire world here tonight on live television..... (CJ pauses as he walks around the ring looking around)....you know I've be a lot of things. A winner. A champion and yes I've lost a few 1 thing is for certain I've always been a contender!!!!! I've never stepped away from the best, as a matter of fact I've always stepped to the best!!!! But Damn am I tired of this coward the stache!!!!!! Every time I turn around he has been sticking his ungroomed over waxed and dirty ass nose into my business costing my my shot at gold!!!! And now finally he has to stand on his own 2!!!!! You see he's a coward. A sissy. A bully!!! People like him win in numbers,.sneak attacks and outside interference!!! He cost me an ic title shot....he cost me a hardcore championship....and after I tossed his ass in the battle royal his little croney tossed me...but know it's just you.....ohhhh and Kone don't think I'm done with your ass by a long shot....cuz we all know that your hardcore gold was mine.....but yeah maybe that's just my pride talking...but hmmmmmmm I've got a suggestion...a proposal if you will...you see I've been thinking....... and hopefully the powers that be in the back are listing....misters Bychowski…Meyers, you listening???!!!!!” 

Out come owners Mr. Meyers and Mr. Bychowski and they meet Ric Flair on the stage and they are standing in the isle way...... Mr. Meyers asks “What is it exactly that you want??? How exactly can we help you CJ????  You know CJ, we are in Charlotte NC on live television and I'm sure no one watching around the world or anyone in this arena payed to listen to you babble, so what do you want!!!???

After a brief pause, CJ continues “you know your right, so let me get straight to the point....... the stache, magnum Kone, and cj all together in 1 ring, no rules no holds barred anything goes, and no interference cuz it's not just a match....it's hell in a cell....so if you agree, let those 2 In the back know when and where, and let's settle this all 1 time and really find out who is the man!!!!” Just as CJ gets ready to drop the mic, the Stache runs out but CJ rolls out the ring and goes through the crowd.  A pissed off Stache is left standing in the ring.

The Stache is in the ring and he says that it’s on.  He’ll accept the challenge anytime, anywhere.  Then, Hardcore Champion Magnum Kone comes out and he says that neither of these schmucks are deserving a title shot.  Mr. Meyers asks Ric what he thinks and Ric responds “Woooooooo.  The Nature Boy thinks it’s a great idea.  However, the show tonight is full so GM Max McGillicutty will need to figure out the when and where.  I say this will happen.”  The owners agree and then leave.  Ric says that since the Stache is in the ring, he can kick off our first match.  Stache asks who his opponent will be.  Flair then introduces…Tyson Kidd.  Kidd comes out and laughs at the Stache and that just infuriates him.  Tyson goes on the offensive and the Stache wasn’t prepared.  At one point, the ref took a bump and went down.  Stache then dropped Tyson with a chair shot.  Just as the ref started to stir, Stache throws the chair to Tyson who gets caught with it by the ref and is disqualified.  Tyson tried to complain but it did no good.  The Stache stayed in the ring pointing to his head (assuming he’s showing us how smart he is) but CJ runs in from the crowd and drops the Stache with a bulldog.  CJ rolls back out laughing and takes off through the crowd.  The Stache shakes out the cobwebs and leaves as the fans laugh at him.  (4 ½ min for the match; 8 for the segment)

Ric Flair runs into HWF World Champion Brock Lesnar and tells him that he is defending the title tonight.  Brock says “whatever” and walks off.  “Don’t you want to know who you’re going against?” Flair hollers after him but Brock doesn’t seem to care.

Next on the card is Uhaa Nation vs Zack Ryder.  This one was nothing special other than seeing Ryder really step up his game.  He took the match to Uhaa Nation and after hitting him with a double axehandle, he made the cover for the 1-2-3.  Zack Ryder gets a win.  (10 min)

Back in the interview area, The Stache calls CJ a coward and he will finish him off one way or another.  CJ better live it up because his time on this earth will end soon.

We go back to the ring for our HWF World title defense.  The champ Brock Lesnar defends the HWF World title vs the Elitist Champion Reid Rothchild.  Rothchild has a rare opportunity to step it up and see what he can do.  Reid congratulated himself on getting this match but as soon as the bell rang, Brock tore him apart.  Brock toyed with him much longer than he should have but after choking Reid on the ropes and slingshooting him into the ring, Brock made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Brock wipes his hands and then takes his title and leaves. (9 min)

Ric Flair calls Samoa Joe to his office and tells him he too is defending his title tonight.  Joe asks who and Flair says the Shield’s own Roman Reigns.  Flair then excuses himself and says he has to go make an introduction in the ring.

Ric comes out and says that tonight, someone special is getting a match with a champion and if they can prove how good they really are, they will be in line for a title shot.  Flair first introduces the Women’s Champion (and member of the Beautiful People) Angelina Love.  Love gets in the ring and asks Ric to send down her opponent.  Ric then introduces his DAUGHTER Charlotte.  Charlotte, in Charlotte, gets a huge pop (almost as good as her dad’s) and she makes her way to the ring.  Charlotte had the slight edge for 19 minutes until the champ caught her with a top rope cross bodyblock.  Angelina thought she had this one signed, sealed and delivered so she took her sweet time making the cover.  Charlotte kicked out at 1 and Angelina was stunned.  As Angelina tried to complain, Charlotte hits the Charlotte’s Web roll up and got the 1-2-3.  Charlotte Flair gets the win and will receive a future title shot at the Women’s title.  Angelina left while Charlotte celebrated in the ring.  (20 min)

Buff Austin promises to rid the planet of whomever he is fighting tonight or he will call it quits once and for all.  Once he dispatches whoever it is he’s fighting tonight, he will get rid of Mr. Wrestling 5 and then take that sorry excuse of a slob MW3 out too.

It’s time for our next title match with champion Samoa Joe defending the CSWA World title vs Roman Reigns.  Reigns comes to the ring first accompanied by Shield members Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.   Joe then comes out and he’s accompanied by Enforcer members Ryback and Mark Henry.  It didn’t take too long into the match with the Enforcers mixing it up with the Shield and both sets of teammates get sent to the back.  After everyone got sent to the back, Reigns looked to be the favorite as he seemed to be doing better than the champ.  Joe, however, took the match to the outside and then, after plowing Reigns into the steel post, he hits a muscle buster on the floor leaving Reigns out.  Joe rolls back into the ring just before the 10 count and squeaks out a win via CO.  Joe takes his title and leaves.  (9 min)

In the back, Bray Wyatt cuts a promo.  "I heard you like to call yourself the devil's favorite demon. But you, sir, are no demon. And the devil, nah, man. But shhh... Kane, I'd like to let you in on a little secret, man. You ought to be careful who you say those things in front of... you never know who might be listening.  The buzzards are calling your name man.  Can you hear them?"

We are back in the ring where special guest ring announcer MW3 is getting cheered from the fans. MW3 introduces tonight’s participants and starts off with ‘Main Event’ Buff Austin. Austin is booed and he flips off MW3 as he paces around the ring.  MW3 then announces Austin’s opponent and out comes…Mr. Wrestling #5.  Austin sees him and starts to laugh.  Mr. Wrestling #5 holds up a finger and  begins to remove his mask.  As soon as he is unmasked, we see..EL CHANGO!  That’s right, Austin’s former tag team partner is his opponent tonight.  Austin was in shock.  MW3 leaves the ring and flips off Buff Austin.  Buff goes on a vicious streak and just tears into El Chango.  This went on for 11 minutes.  Finally, Buff calls for the 5 Point Palm Explosion but El Chango reverses it and drops Austin with the Diamond Dust.  El Chango makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  El Chango gets the win and Buff is now out of a job.  Fans begin to chant “Na, na, na, na, na, na, hey, hey, hey, good bye.”  Buff storms up the ramp and then turns to all the fans and flips everyone off for the last time.  Goodbye Buff Austin.  (12 min)

Sting calls out Sonic Blade wanting his title shot at the Intercontinental Title.  Sonic walks over and says that next show, he will defend the IC title against the Stinger.  They shake hands.

We go back to the ring for our main event. This will be a “Ring of Fire” match (there are strips of devices placed along all for sides of the mat that will randomly shoot up fire).  First, the lights go dim and the demon Kane comes out to his eerie music.  Kane is in the ring waiting for Bray and as the lights go up, Bray is already in the ring and goes right after Kane.  Kane drops Bray and stands on his throat. Bray bounces back up and blinds Kane by running his face on the top rope.  The fire then shoots up and Kane gets caught by it.  Kane stumbles back in the ring and Bray hits Sister Abigail.  He stands over Kane just staring at him.  Bray rolls out of the ring and grabs a kendo stick.  Bray scoops Kane up and drops him with a powerslam.  He then goes and takes the kendo stick and beats Kane down with it.  He picks up Kane and hits Sister Abigail once again and makes the cover to get the 1-2-3.  After the match, Bray leaves the ring and then in mocking gesture, raises his arms and the flames on all 4 sides of the ring shoot up.  This goes on for about 10 seconds.  When the flames finally die down, Kane is gone.  He is no longer in the ring.  Bray takes a mic.

"Icarus was warned to never let his wings made of wax get too close to the sun. But pride can make even the noblest of men do such foolish things. And as Icarus neared the sun, his wings began to melt away. Icarus fell into the ocean and was never heard from again. Where's Kane? I warned Kane. I told him that this fire he thinks is his friend, his beginning... it would ultimately be his ending. And when Kane allowed his pride to cloud his common sense, well, that's when I knew that he was mine. Like a lamb led to slaughter... oh where, oh where has my monster gone? Oh where, oh where could he be? Kane made his bed and now he's burning in it. Where's Kane?"  Bray then leaves. (6 min for the match; 10 for the segment)

With that, the show comes to an end.  As the cameras stopped rolling, Ric Flair comes back out to thank the fans for attending and invites them to tune in on tv as well as attend future live events.  “Woooooooooo”.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #416

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Just because the month of October is winding down doesn’t mean the action is.   We have a great line up for you tonight that will see our main event actually have “the Main Event” Buff Austin fighting against a man who seems to be a thorn in his side – Mr. Wrestling #5.  5’s livelihood is on the line so there is a lot at stake in our headliner show. 

The show begins with “Main Event” Buff Austin coming out saying how great he is et al and the fans just don’t seem to care.  He tells the audience that after tonight, no one will ever see Mr. Wrestling around these parts ever again.  Buff then leaves the ring to the booing of the fans.

We go to the ring for our first match which has Epico and Primo Colon taking on Kenta and Tajiri.  This was total annihilation by the Japanese wrestlers.  They beat the holy hell out of the Colons and the match came to a merciful end once Kenta nailed Primo with a double underhook suplex and covered him for the 1-2-3.  Kenta and Tajiri win this one and could be future contenders for a tag team title shot.  (22 min)

In the back, Bobby Lashley is talking with the interns and they congratulate him on is dominant win over Jeff Jarrett. Ken Anderson walks over and says that Bobby didn’t accomplish anything.  Jarrett was a no-body that was beat by Curtis Axel for cryin’ out loud.  If Bobby wants real competition in the ring, he should consider taking on Missssssssssssssssster Annnnnnnnnnderson.  Ken walks away.

Alexander Rusev makes his way out to the ring and says that Big Show disrespected him and his country.  He calls out Big Show to face him in the ring right here and right now.  Big Show makes his way out and says he’d be happy to oblige.  Once again, Big Show disrespected Rusev by wiping the mat with him.  Show totally dominated this match and it came to an end only after Show nailed Alexander with the Cutting Edge.   Rusev rolled out of the ring and slunk his way to the back.  (11 min)

In the back, Leon Teremoto says he wants to issue a challenge to Curtis Axel for his North American title spot.  He says that Axel has to accept or will prove to be the coward everyone knows he is.   Axel makes his way out and says he’s ready for that match right here and now and calls out Leon.  Leon makes his way to the ring and we have ourselves another match.   Leon appeared to hold his own for about 11 minutes but after that, he wasn’t looking so good.  Axel, on the other hand, actually began to look like the (real life) son of Mr. Perfect.  Axel schooljed Leon and after a flurry of punches and kicks, he covered Leon for the 1-2-3.  Curtis Axel retains his spot.  (25 min)

Backstage, we run into the Stache.  He says that next show, in that very ring, he is going to call out CJ and he’ll be interested to see if CJ has the guts to show up at all.

We go back to the ring for the next match Bobby Lashley vs Ken Anderson.  Anderson comes out with a mic and introduces himself as Mistteerrrrrrrrrrrr Aaaaaandersonnnnnnnn.  Lashley comes out next to a huge pop from the fans.  Ken is not happy that the fans like Bobby more than him and jumps out of the ring to attack Bobby.  Bobby, however was ready for him and immediately threw him into the steel steps.  Bobby rolled in the ring and called for Anderson to join him.  Ken took his time walking around the ring yelling at fans to shut up and then rolled in.  Ken put up a fight but he was no match for the power of Bobby Lashley.  For 14 minutes, Bobby beat the snot out of Ken and finally pinned him after hitting him with the Dominator.  Bobby gets the win.  He offers his hand to Ken who slaps it away and sulks to the back.  Bobby celebrates with the fans and then leaves. (14 min)

Randy Orton says he is ready to cement his place in history when he defeats Brock Lesnar for the HWF title.  He is interrupted by Ryback who challenges him for his spot.  Orton accepts.  That match will be later.

We are back in the ring for the next match which is R-Truth vs Sami Zayn.  Sami dazzled everyone with his hi-flying moves and kept R-Truth second guessing everything.  Zayn finally is able to connect with a wristlock tornado DDT and make the cover for the 1-2-3.  Zayn picks up a win.  (18 min)

Bray Wyatt comes out and heads to the ring with a mic in hand.  "Kane ... I suspect you'll be looking for me. But that's all right, man, because I ain't never been too hard to find. Matter of fact, if you need me I'll be right here.  I’ve been waiting for you, Kane. I've always been waiting for you. Look to the sky and follow the buzzards."

Kane comes out and stands on stage.  He tells that Bray will be introduced to pain and suffering as never before felt by Bray.  He will experience this new level of pain and suffering when he is introduced to a ring of fire.

Bray continues:  "A ring of fire. Now that, Kane, that sounds like the type of fight that's meant to cater to a man who fancies himself the devil's favorite demon. And I like that. I like that, Kane, I like your style, yeah. But I think there's been some type of interruption here. We're a little bit disconnected. I don't think you've quite grasped your mind around the concept of what's really truly going on here. Do you really think that a simple fire could control the souls of my brothers? We are everywhere, Kane. And sooner or later that fire, that fire that you call your own, it will raise up around you and the tables will be turned. It will be you who is locked inside with a monster. Your fire fears me, Kane. It's afraid of me because it's smart enough to understand that it itself could never, ever, ever hurt me. You want to hear a secret, Kane? I am already dead. I'm already dead."

Kane agrees and rushed the ring and he and Bray traded blows until Kane hits a low blow and calls for the Chokeslam from Hell.  The Desperados (the Stache & El Chango) rush out and beat Kane down.  Bray recovers and hits Kane with Sister Abigail.  The Wyatt Family celebrates in the ring and leaves Kane down and out.

We move right on to our next match with Randy Orton taking on Ryback.  Orton’s World title spot is on the line here.  Ryback comes out first with fellow Enforcer members Mark Henry and the CSWA World Champion Samoa Joe.  Joe takes the mic and tells everyone that even though he had Lesnar beat, they let something stupid like a time limit draw bring that one to a close.  Joe says that he will keep defending the CSWA title and come December, he will destroy both Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar to become the Undisputed triple crown champ.  Randy Orton makes his way down as Henry and Joe exit the ring but stay at ringside.  Mark Henry and Joe tried a couple of times to interfere on behalf of Ryback and were almost caught.   Finally, the ref catches Mark Henry trying to climb into the ring.  He threatens to disqualify Ryback but decides instead to send Mark and Joe from ringside.  Amidst the complaining, Randy nails Ryback with a beautifully executed flying dropkick and (with his own feet on the ropes) gets the 1-2-3.  Randy Orton retains his spot.  Joe and Henry rush the ring and Orton bails.  He laughs at them all the way to the back.  (11 min)

GM Max McGillicutty comes out and tells us the rules for the main event.  Max says that if Mr. Wrestling #5 is pinned or submits, he must leave the HWF and CSWA.  He will not be allowed to return for a minimum of 3 months. 

Mr. Wrestling #5 comes out first to a mixed reaction from the crowd.  Next, “Main Event” Buff Austin makes his way out.  Austin goes right after MW#5 and the two fight like wildcats; neither giving an inch.  About 10 minutes into the match, Austin got into his groove and was beating down Mr. Wrestling.  All of a sudden, new music hits and out comes…MW3!!!!  MW3 has returned to the HWF and CSWA.  He gets a HUGE pop as he makes his way to ringside.  By this time, Buff tossed #5 to the outside of the ring.  Austin begins to holler at MW3 while he is providing intestinal fortitude to #5.  5 gets back in the ring and…does absolutely nothing.  Buff continues to beat him down.  He throws 5 out of the ring and jawjacks with MW3.  5 went under the ring and then came right back out…seemingly refreshed.  He climbed back in the ring (his ring attire is slightly different) and locks Buff in a bearhug.  Just as Buff was tapping out, the ref noticed that #5 looked different.  He immediately paused the match and questioned #5.   The “other” Mr. Wrestling #5 crawled back out and the ref now sees double.  He has no idea which Mr. Wrestling is supposed to be in the ring.  MW3 yells that the one in the ring is the legit one but the ref just gets all the more confused and throws the match out as a Double DQ!   Why would he do that?  Makes no sense.  A very pissed off Buff Austin gets on the mic and bashes MW3 for “starting all this”.  He tells MW3 to get in the ring and fight him but MW3 says he retired and is no longer an active competitor.  “And besides, the last time I fought you, you should have been out of a job.  I felt sorry for you and asked them to keep you on.  However, if you want to really fight someone, I know just the person to step up to the plate.”  Austin tells MW3 he’s ready and MW3 says that he will BRING IT next show.   With that, the show comes to an end.

Just as everything is shutting down, out runs Phat Sol.  He is dressed…what the heck…he’s dressed like Uncle Fester from the Munsters.  He gets in front of the camera and hams it up for the camera.  He puts a lightbulb in his mouth and it lights up.   NOW, the show comes to an end.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #415

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Today’s show begins with GM Max McGillicutty making an appearance on the stage.  He says that later tonight, he will make the announcement that was proposed to the owners at the last show.  Tonight, Jeff Jarrett will take on 3 different people in an Iron Man Gauntlet match. If he wins all 3, Owens is out of a job and Jeff automatically gets a World title shot.  However, he must win at least one of the matches otherwise he is out.  That match starts now.

As Max leaves the stage, Jeff Jarrett makes his way out to the ring.  He gets on a mic and tells Kevin Owens to send the first person down so that he will kick his ass and send him home.  The first person who comes down is Curtis Axel.  Axel makes his way down to the ring as Jarrett just laughs at him.  Jarrett just beat down on Axel and looked like he was going to score that early pin.  Axel, in a desperate move, hit Jeff with a running one-handed neckbreaker.  He landed on top of Jeff and with a hook of the leg, gets the 1-2-3 in 15 minutes.  Kevin Owens comes out and applaudes Axel.  Jeff, in turn beat down on Curt and blasted him with a guitar (there seems to be an abundance of these at ringside for some reason).  Because Jeff already lost one, Kevin’s job is secure.  Jeff says that he’s ready for the second one and to send that person down now.  The next person to make their way down is Bobby Lashley.  Jarrett calls Bobby a pawn in Owens’ game and a sucker.  That did not sit well with Lashley who, after blasting Jarrett with an MMA strike, hits Jeff with the Dominator and scores the 1-2-3 in just 6 minutes.   Bobby leaves as Jarrett tries to stir in the ring.  Kevin makes his way down and says he is #3.  Jarrett immediately blasts him with a guitar before the match could begin putting them both on equal footing.  This one was the shortest of the 3 matches.    After Owens punched Jeff in the face, Jeff blinds him by blinding him after executing a ring rope face burn (drags his face across the top rope).  Kevin hits the Steenalizer (reverse powerbomb suplex) but then somehow Jeff throws him out of the ring where he landed badly.  He looks to be hurt but he makes it back in by the 8 count.  Kevin tries for a Canadian Face Stomp but Jarrett neutralizes it.  Jarrett chops Kevin hard across the chest but Kevin nails another Steenalizer and right in the middle of the ring, gets the 1-2-3.  (4 min)  Jeff Jarrett has lost all 3 matches and now is out.  After he recovered, he grabbed his stuff, loaded up all the extra guitars that were at ringside on a flatbed cart (not sure where this came from) and hauled his stuff to the back as fans chanted “you lost” at him.  (25 min total)

Back in the interview area, the Fiend is being interviewed.  He says he took some time off to re-evaluate his career and where he wanted to go from here.  As much as he despised the Miz, he had a lot of success when the two teamed together.  The Fiend says that he and Miz and spoken and that the MizFits are one again reunited.   He says the two of them will be in action later tonight as they look to climb the ladder of tag team competition and become World Tag Team champs.

We head back to the ring for tag team action with Dolph Ziggler and Sami Zayn taking on the Ascension.  This one showed that Ziggler and Zayn could work well together but they are not tag specialists and that is where they fell short.  The Ascension kept them secluded with constant double teams.  In the end, Viktor nails Zayn with a Psycho Crusher and pins him in the middle of the ring at the 12 minute mark.  After the match, Zayn and Ziggler talk and decide that they should pursue singles careers vs tag team. They shake hands and go their separate ways. (12 min)

Kane is backstage and he tells a stagehand to find Bray Wyatt and he wants his ass in the ring.

We go back to the ring for our first title match of the night.  This one will be for the North American title with champion Jay Lethal defending against Tajiri.  For the first 7 minutes of the match, this was about as even as it could be.  However, after Tajiri spit mist in Lethal’s eyes, the tide turned for the challenger. For the next 9 minutes, Lethal was lucky to get in 5 offensive moves as Tajiri just dominated him.  Lethal gets lucky and drops Tajiri with a hot shot and then climbs the top rope.  He looks to the heavens and does his Macho Man salute to his fallen hero and then leaps and nails Tajiri with the flying elbow smash.  Jay makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Jay Lethal retains his title in a very hard fought match.  (17 min)

Bray Wyatt appears on the Omegatron.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Bray Wyatt and I want to tell you a story, a special little story. Once upon a time, there was a little boy, a special little boy. This little boy, he went to school like all the rest of the children. But kids can be so cruel. Even though this little boy was bigger than all the rest of the children he would cower to their harsh words.

They would call him names, like 'freak'. They would beat on him, and they would send him home running everyday with tears down his face, all for just being himself. But one day, one day, this special little boy decided that he was going to change the world. He was going to go to school and everything would be different. But instead of him changing everything, he ran away. He ran away and he found another little crutch to hide behind. This crutch gave him a new sense of power. This crutch allowed him to be whatever he wanted to be. This crutch was a mask. And behind this mask, he gave himself a new name.

And that name was Kane.

Behind this mask, he allowed himself to live this lie. And you eat it all up every day for no reason. Well I say no more lies. Because I know who I am. I know what I am. I walk on water just to prove to you that I can. I bite the head off a snake just to taste its poison. And I promise to you, monster, that whenever you are man enough to meet me in the ring, I will prove to you that one man's hell is another man's paradise. Follow the buzzards."

We head back to the ring where we will finally get to determine who the #1 challengers are to the tag team titles.  The Dudley Boys vs X-Factor is up next. Bubba Ray and Devon Dudley make their way down to the ring much to the delight of the fans.  They are then followed by the X-Factor (AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels).  The four men have a stare down in the ring.  Then, the World Tag Team champions the Steel Curtain come down at sit at commentary to scout the match.  A few minutes in and it looked like the Dudleys were just going to overpower the X-Factor but that ended up not being the case.  AJ and Daniels worked together like a well-oiled machine.  They actually out-wrestled their opponents with lightning-quick moves.  At one point, Bubba went to the outside and set up a table next to the ring.  He went back in to beat down on AJ but AJ made the hot tag and Daniels dropped Bubba with a Death Valley Driver.  He then hurled Bubba over the top rope and he landed right on the table and crashed through it.  Bubba ends up getting counted out.  The X-Factor win this one and then turn to the champs at ringside and just glare at them and motion that they will be taking those titles.  The champs stare back and do not flinch.  The X-Factor end up leaving as medics come out and help Bubba to the back.  (11 min)

“Main Event” Buff Austin complains about Mr. Wrestling 5 eliminating him from the battle royal and promises once and for all to get rid of him.  He says he will meet up with the GM to make this happen.

We head back to the ring for our next tag team match with Robbie E and Ethan Carter III taking on the MizFits.  The Miz and the Fiend took a long time trying to get into a rhythm and that just allowed Robbie and ECIII to dominate the match.  ECIII and Robbie E double teamed against both men multiple times durng the match wearing each one down as they beat them into submission.  Just when it looked like the Miz was done, he nailed ECIII with a flying dropkick and made the hot tag to the Fiend.  Fiend then dragged ECIII to the outside of the ring. Sitting on the announcers table, for whatever reason, was a bottle of BBQ sauce.  The Fiend opens the bottle and throws the contents into ECIII’s face blinding him.  All this time, the ref was distracted by the Miz and that is why he didn’t see it.  The Fiend rolls back in just as the ref counts to 10 and awards the match to the MizFits.  (21 min)

GM Max McGillicutty makes his way to the ring.  He gets on the mic and tells us that he is ready to announce ONE of the main events for Starcade.  He tells us that Starcade will be a 3 day event and that the crowning jewel of a match will be none other than Brock Lesnar vs Samoa Joe VS Bray Wyatt in a ‘winner takes all’ match in the confines of a Hell in a Cell. Max says that this will be a No DQ match HOWEVER, no outside interference will be allowed.  If one person interferes on their partner’s behalf (Desperados for Bray or the X-Factor for Samoa Joe), that person will be automatically disqualified and will lose.  The fans pop huge for this.  Max soaks in the adulation of the fans before leaving with a huge smile on his face.

It is time for our main event and it will be for the Women’s title with the champion Southern Belle taking on her one-time teammate (from the Beautiful People) Angelina Love.  This will be a best of 3 falls match.  Fall #1 goes to the challenger who dropped Belle with a Mexican Armdrag and rolled her up (with a handful of tights) for the 1-2-3.  (9 min).  Belle began to battle back but after receiving a shoulder block that sent her crashing to the mat and bouncing her head off the ring, she wasn’t quite the same.  Love took the fight to her and locked her in a camel clutch but Belle would not tap out.  Love would follow it up with a suplex and a DDT but she couldn’t put Belle out.  Love then repeatedly smashed Belle’s head into the corner turnbuckle and when she stopped, Belle seemed extremely disoriented and didn’t quite know where she was.  Love nails another shoulderblock and this time Belle is down.  Love makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Angelina Love has just defeated Southern Belle for the Women’s title.  Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne (the Beautiful People) came down to celebrate with their teammate and Belle is helped to the back as the show comes to an end.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #414

The show kicks off with owners Mr. Bychowski and Mr. Meyers meeting with GM Max McGillicutty.  Meyers wants to know what the hell happened in that main event.  Mr. Bychowski comments that he thought the show was moving along great but then there was this hiccup.  Max says that he had a contingency plan already worked out in case this happened.  He showed the owners what his plan was and they went from disappointment to “You really have thought this through.  If you pull this off, this could end up being the match of the year.”  Mr. Bychowski says “Sorry we doubted you on this.   Carry on the fantastic work.”  All 3 men shook hands as the segment ended.

The show begins with a bandaged-up Bray Wyatt making his way down to the ring.  Wyatt gets on the mic and says that it is time for the Wyatt family to once again sit atop the food chain that is the HWF and CSWA.   Bray then says that new blood is needed and introduces the newest additions to the Wyatt Family.  Out comes…New Day!!!  Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods come out dressed as druids and then shed their cloaks and then run around like a bunch of goofballs.  Bray stands in the ring and shakes his head.  “On second thought…” escapes his lips and then the Desperados (El Chango & the Stache) rush out and beat the crap out of New Day.  Bray has the Desperados clean up their mess (they dragged the New Day members to the back) and just as Bray is getting ready to leave, out comes Kane.

Kane walks out and says Wyatt owes him answers since the Ascension are not giving up anything.  Wyatt says he answers to no one.  A decision was made and that is final.  Kane doesn’t take that too well and threatens harm to Wyatt.  The Desperados run out and attack the Big Red Machine.  After a minute or so, Bray has them stop and he takes the mic.  "The devil's favorite demon is no monster, man. He is an illusion. He's a fairy tale. The demon is a lie. But me, I'm much, much different, man. I am the man of a thousand truths. I am Bray Wyatt, the Eater of Worlds. And I am forever. Kane ... follow the buzzards."  Bray then leaves with the Desperados as Kane stirs in the ring.

CJ is in the back being interviewed.  He says that he let the Stache get into his head and that cost him the Intercontinental title.  However, that is old news.  He says that he is ready for his Hardcore title shot and wants Magnum Kone in the ring.  Kone walks over and starts pushing CJ.  “Who do you think you are calling me out?  I beat you for this and I’ll beat you again if you are ready.”  CJ says now is as good a time as any and heads to the ring.  Kone follows.

CJ makes his way to the ring and he is followed by Hardcore Champion Magnum Kone.  Kone too lost his shot at additional gold and he is still in a bad mood since Wargames.  The rules for this one will be Lights Out rules meaning no DQ.  Right off the bat, CJ locked Kone in the guillotine choke right in the middle of the ring and just as Kone was getting ready to tap out, The Stache runs out and repeatedly hits CJ with a steel chair.  Stache then drops the chair and leaves.  Magnum picks up CJ and nails the Popsicle (piledriver) right on the chair.  Kone makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Magnum Kone retains the title.  He grabs his title and then leaves.  (10 min)

In the back, the Dudley’s (Bubba and Devon) say they went through hell in the TLC match and feel that they are next in line for the tag team title match.  They are interrupted by X-Factor’s AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels who say that THEY won the placement match and THEY are next in line.  Bubba asks if they are ready to put up or shut up and that they should meet in the ring and figure out who really should be next in line.  They agree.  Max walks over and says tonight’s card is full but they will have a match at the next show.

Our next match has the Savior and Drew the Canadian Love Machine taking on the Band (Dirk Devon and the Axe).  This one was a close match from beginning to end.  The Savior and Drew really held their own against the veterans (in HWF and CSWA standards) but neither team could get a leg up over the other.  The end of the match came and so happened that all 4 men were in the ring pounding the hell out of each other.  The sounding of the bell didn’t bring this one to a close so the ref called for extra help to separate everyone.  The Savior kept telling Dirk he wanted to “save” him and that seemed, for whatever reason, to piss Dirk off all the more.  I would not be surprised to see these two teams meet again.  (30 min)

As was mentioned during Wargames, John Cena vs the Undertaker has already been put on paper for Starcade.  I would bet over the next few weeks we should see a contract signing.

We go back to the ring for our Women’s Money in the Bank battle royal.  The winner of this battle royal will receive a title shot at either the Women’s title or Diva’s title.  Everyone was in here including Diva’s Champion Jupiter Jane and Women’s Champion Southern Belle.  Elimination occurred as such:

Angelina Love (from the Beautiful People) is the winner and she says she wants the shot at the Women’s champion Southern Belle.  Belle was dumped by the Beautiful People so I’m sure Belle will want to get even. (30 min)

Jeff Jarrett gets on the mic talking about how great he is and that no one can beat him.  Kevin Owens walks over and says he can beat Jarrett on any given Sunday – or any day of the week for that matter.  Jarrett says he’ll meet Kevin in the ring right now.

Kevin Owens gets the surprising win over Jeff Jarrett after hitting him with the Steenalizer (reverse powerbomb suplex) in 9 minutes.  As Owens is celebrating, Jarrett attacks him and beats him down.  Jeff says that this was a fluke and says he will prove it.  He tells Owens to find 2 other buddies and next show, Jeff will take all 3 on in singles competition and if he wins, Owens must quit.  Kevin, who has somewhat recovered by now, says that he’ll accept that but only if Jeff puts his career on the line too if he does not beet all 3 men.  Jeff agrees.

GM Max McGillicutty makes an announcement from his office where he says that he will be making things right regarding the Brock Lesnar/Samoa Joe match from Wargames.  That announcement will be made at the next show.

Today’s main event will be a Men’s Money in the Bank Battle Royal where the winner will get a shot at any title he wants.  This one went a full 60 minutes and saw some surprises.  Mr. Wrestling 5 returned and caused Buff Austin to get eliminated.  The Fiend returned to assist the Miz but got eliminated for his efforts.  CJ was eliminating people left and right.  CJ eliminated the Stache but was then eliminated by El Chango.  There were also multiple double disqualifications.  Brock Lesnar eliminated the Undertaker with a HUGE F-5 out of the ring.  We finally get to our final two participants and those were Bobby Lashley and Big Show.    Big Show ends up with the win after hitting Bobby with a Cutting Edge and then tossing him over the top rope.   Max comes out and says that both men will receive Money in the Bank contracts as they put on a hell of a performance.  Big Show will get a future World title shot and Bobby will get a US Title shot.  (60 min)

We cut to the back where a pissed off Stache is kicking and throwing things around.  El Chango says that the Stache has some anger issues tied to CJ.  El Chango proposes that the two of them do their own thing for a while and after the Stache has dealt with CJ, they will team back up and go after the belts they were screwed out of.  Since they are now affiliated with the Wyatt family, Stache will have to make time for the family.  Stache and El Chango shake hands and Stache looks at the camera and yells “Bitch will recognize…”

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #413 - Wargames Day 2

Hello fans and welcome to day 2 of WARGAMES.  We are still coming to you from Kalamazoo, MI.  All this writer can say is that the fans in attendance both yesterday and today truly rival some of the best crowds we’ve seen all year and that includes our Wrestlemania PPV from earlier this year.  This sport truly has some of the best fans in the world.

GM Max McGillicutty comes out and welcomes everyone who’s attending here live and on PPV.  With the lineup for today and one bonus match, fans around the world will be in for a real treat. 

The pyro goes off and we are ready for our first match. Alexander Rusev makes his way out and he has wrapped himself in a Russian Chain which will be the stipulation for this match.  Rusev gets in the ring and starts to sing the Russian National Anthem but new music hits and out comes the Olympic Hero and leader of the Varsity Club – Kurt Angle.  Angle gets a solid pop and that seems to infuriate Rusev all the more.  Kurt gets in the ring and the ref attaches the chain to him.  Rusev is already set and he immediately goes on the offensive.  Rusev blasted Angle with forearm smashes and Kurt would battle back – first with a chain whip snap that stunned the Bulgarian Bully but then he used the chain to tie Rusev up in the corner and just pummel him.  Rusev would battle back and drop Kurt with a Moscow corner smash and Kurt is now bleeding.  Rusev throws Angle over the top rope and tries to hang him with the chain but Kurt manages to get his feet quickly on the mat and then turns and drops Rusev with a neck snap on the top rope.  Rusev battles back and tries to maul Kurt with the chain but Kurt stops it and then hurls Rusev over the top rope and he’s kicking and squirming as he tries to get back up on the ring apron.  Rusev would battle back and hit Kurt with the Accolade but he could not keep Angle down.  Kurt would blast Rusev with the Moscow corner smash and now Rusev is busted open.  Rusev tries to hurl Kurt out of the ring but it is reversed and Kurt wraps Rusev up in the chair and then locks in the chainlink Leningrad lock.  Rusev has no where he can go and struggles as he might, it’s all for naught.  Kurt keeps cinching it in and Rusev has no choice but to tap out.  Kurt Angle wins this one via submission and the place explodes.  The ref unlocks Kurt from the chain and he celebrates with the fans and then exists as Rusev is attended to by medical personnel. (20 min)

Back in Max’s office, Leon Teremoto storms in and just stares at the GM.  He’s wearing an old black leather jacket and his hair is a mess.  “What about me?  What about Leon?  WHAT ABOUT ME?”  Max asks him what the hell he’s talking about.  Leon says he feels neglected and unless Max wants to face a lawsuit for improper use of a character, he’d better put Leon in a match tonight where a title is on the line.  Max says fine and inserts him into the Elitist title match between champion Reid Rothchild and Austin Aries.  Leon nods his head in acceptance and then leaves.

Our next match is for the X-Division title with champion Tyler Breeze defending it against the man who holds the Hardcore title Magnum Kone.  Kone came out first and for whatever reason, he did not bring out any ice cream to the fans at ringside.  He did shake the hands of a few people but that was it.  Breeze makes his way out and he comes out to a mixed reaction.  This one will be hard to tell who’s playing what role.   Magnum Kone did not look like the defending Hardcore champion.  The champ owned this one for sure and it only took 10 minutes and a headlock to secure this win.  After the match, Kone was visibly upset and refused to shake the hand of Breeze.  Fans reached out for Magnum Kone as he walked to the back but he ignored each and every one of them.  (10 min)

HWF World Champion Brock Lesnar is in the interview area and standing with him is Paul Heyman. Heyman says he speaks for his client right now as Brock will do all his “talking” when he beats the holy hell out of Samoa Joe and takes the CSWA World title.  Brock then will go on and defeat Bray Wyatt to become the Triple Crown winner (both World titles and the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship).  Heyman ends with “Hail…hail Brock Lesnar…land of the Beast…In…car…naaaaaate”.

We go back to the ring for the next title match which is for the Elitist Title.  The champ Reid Rothchild is defending against both Leon Teremoto and Austin Aries.  Leon comes out first and is booed.  Aries comes out next to a mixed reaction.  Reid comes out with his wife former Divas/Women’s Champion Ravishing Raquel.  They receive solid boos from this crowd.  This one started off with Aries stepping back and letting Reid and Leon duke it out.  If it seemed that one was getting too far ahead of themselves, Aries would step in but only to even the odds.  Reid would hit the Hogan Leg Drop on Leon but before he could go for the pin, Aries sent Reid to the outside and threw him into the steel steps.  Aries then continued to beat down on Leon but that little rest seemed to be what Leon needed and he took the fight right to Aries.  Aries had underestimated his opponent and on a few occasions, it almost cost him the match.  Aries had just stated to get the upper hand and he sent Leon to the outside with a slingshot senton.  Aries followed him out and laid him on the Spanish Announcers table.  Aries went back to the ring and climbed the turnbuckle and hit the Aries 450 onto Leon through the table.  Holy Shit chants echoed throughout the arena.  Aries struggled to get to his feet and barely made it back in the ring.  Reid was waiting for him and picked him up and nailed a Rothchild Stunner.  Reid then dragged Aries out of the ring and nailed a Reid Bottom on the floor.  Aries looked to be out.  Reid rolled back into the ring and the ref made the count to 10 counting Aries and Leon both down and out.  Reid Rothchild retains his title but the fans don’t like the way this ended and they were vocal about it.  Reid just flipped them off and left with Ravishing Raquel.  (28 min)

CSWA World Champion Samoa Joe is in the interview area and he says that Lesnar and Heyman are full of hot air.  Joe is the only one walking out with both World titles and it will be Joe who goes on to fight Bray for the chance to become the Triple Crown Champ.  Joe promises this match to be off the hook.

Bray Wyatt comes out and says that the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion has not had an opportunity to defend his title in quite a while and while Brock and Joe are fighting things out, he’s been sitting idly by waiting for his turn.  He says though that he’s bored and wants to see action tonight.  Bray asks for anyone who feels they can step up to come out to the ring right now.  Bray watches the ramp but no one comes out but there is a commotion from the crowd.  Someone is making their way to the ring through the sea of people.  He hops the ringside barrier and its….holy crap…Rob Van Dam!!!  Rob grabs a mic and says that for one night only, he’s back and he’s going to shut Bray’s mouth once and for all.  Bray says that if Rob wants to put his money where his mouth is, they can make this one an ECW Rules match.  The fans chant “ECW, ECW, ECW” and RVD agrees.  Before this one can start, CSWA World Champion Samoa Joe comes out with a wooden chair.  He blasts Bray with it before the match could begin busting him open.  RVD then hits a VanTerminator and makes the cover to get the 3 count.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that this is not how a match like this goes down.  He says Rob is better than that and he wants Rob and Bray to put on a fight.  RVD agrees and the match continues.  For 7 minutes, Bray was on the receiving end of RVD’s onslaught but he would not stay down.  At the 10 minute mark, Bray went for Sister Abigail but RVD reversed it and nailed a VanTerminator.  Bray kicked out at 2.  A few minutes later, Bray nails RVD with Sister Abigail on a chair but he has nothing in his tank.  By the time he made the cover, RVD kicked out at 2.  After this however, the tide changed and Bray started to get his wind back while RVD never recovered.  RVD manages to hit a split legged moonsault and then sent Bray to the outside so he can regain his composure.  He follows Bray out but ends up getting dragged up to an eagles’ nest where Bray threw him off of.  ECW chants were deafening.  Bray drags RVD back to the ring but ends up eating a chair shot.  A sloppy cover by Rob allowed Bray to kick out at 2.  Rob sets up a VanDaminator but Bray reverses it and hits another Sister Abigail on the chair.  This time he hooks the leg and gets the 1-2-3.  HOLY CRAP…what a match.  A bloody Bray Wyatt wobbles as he gets to his feet.  Just then, HWF World Champion Brock Lesnar runs out and nails Bray with the F-5.  He then takes Bray’s blood and smears it across his chest in mock defiance.  Brock then leaves.  Medics come out and help Bray and Rob to the back.  (19 min)

John Cena is in the back and the fans are ridiculing him for losing his match against the Miz.  Cena says that he is going to wrestle tonight and whomever wants to get in the ring with him will feel his wrath. 

Cena storms out to the ring and grabs a mic.  Cena says that it doesn’t matter who and it doesn’t matter which federation, he wants a match here and now.  There is silence before….GONG!  The lights go out and come back eerie blue and out strolls the Undertaker.  Taker makes his way to the ring and then raises his arms as the lights come up.  Cena attacks the Undertaker but Taker is ready for him.  Taker battles back and locks John in the triangle choke.  John manages to shake out of it and then rolls out of the ring.  Undertaker gets on the mic and asks John why, after demanding a match, he’s running away.  Undertaker holds the ropes open for John but he refuses to get back in the ring.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that, although he’d love to see this match tonight, there is no time on the card with 2 matches still left to go.  Cena looks relieved.  Max says that this match will still happen and…surprise, surprise…it will take place in December at Starcade!  This PPV isn’t even over yet and we have our first match for Starcade.  Undertaker drags his thumb across his throat and the eyes roll back in his head as the fans POP!  Cena shakes his head and makes his way to the back.

It’s time to see who will be crowned Intercontinental Champion.  Our two finalists – Sonic Blade and CJ – are up next.  Sonic Blade comes out first and he is followed out by CJ.  Both men got a decent pop from the crowd.   Just then, Sting appears up in the rafters and then we see him repel down.  Sting reminds the two competitors that he opted not to be in the tournament so that someone deserving wins but he is challenging whomever wins the title tonight.  Sting looks at both CJ and Sonic Blade and then shoots back up to the rafters where he disappears in a cloud of smoke.  GM Max comes out and says that both men will be winners of sorts tonight.  Whomever does not win the IC title will become the #1 contender for the Hardcore title. 

Both men shake hands and this one is off.  Sonic Blade catches CJ off guard with a power clothesline followed by an atomic drop. CJ hits a fireman’s carry and then tries to lock in a guillotine choke but Blade makes it to the ropes to break the hold.  Blade hits another clothesline and CJ stuns him with dropkicks.  CJ hits a second dropkick and then goes for a superplex but Blade pushes CJ off.   Blade nails a tilt a whirl arm drag but CJ sends him to the outside for an 8 count. CJ then hits a hangman’s DDT but Blade rolls him up for a 2 count.  CJ goes for a cross body block but Blade moves out of the way.  Blade sets him up for the Alhambra attack but CJ reverses it and snaps Blade’s neck on the ropes.  Blade and CJ then trade multiple clotheslines and dropkicks.  Blade then tosses CJ out of the ring and then collapses in the corner from exhaustion.  From the crowd comes the Stache who throws CJ into the steel post busting him open.  He then rolls CJ back into the ring.  “Payback’s a bitch” Stache says and then leaves through the crowd.  As CJ is struggling to get to his feet, Blade hits a fireman’s carry and then another power clothesline.  He lands on CJ and with a hook of the leg, gets the 1-2-3.  Sonic Blade has just become the NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION!!!!  CJ is helped out of the ring by the ref and Sonic Blade celebrates in the ring with his new title.  (19 min)   

GM Max McGillicutty comes back out.  “Hell of a match.  Congrats to the new Intercontinental Champion.  Sonic Blade vs Sting will be happening sooner rather than later.  Congrats to the Steel Curtain for retaining their titles.  I do not think we’ve seen the last of the Desperados though.  Now, it is time for our main event.  This match will be best of 3 falls with a no DQ 60 minute time limit.  The winner of the match will hold both World Titles and then will challenge Bray Wyatt to a match where all 3 titles will be on the line and one man will walk out the ONLY champion.  Without further ado, let’s get this one started.”

CSWA Champion Samoa Joe comes out first.  There are some chants of “Joe’s gonna kill you” but those are drowned out when HWF Champion Brock Lesnar (no Paul Heyman) makes his way out.  Brock has a look on his face that could kill.  Joe is in the ring pacing, waiting.  Brock launches himself over the top rope (not an easy feat for someone his size) but he pulls it off flawlessly.  The two men stare at each other as the ref goes over the rules.   The first fall goes 29 minutes and after taking the beating of a lifetime, Joe manages to hit a Muscle Buster to get the first fall.  The second fall goes to Brock who, in 20 minutes, was able to finally connect with an F-5 and secure the win.  That only leaves 11 minutes left for a third fall to happen.  Joe starts off hot and immediately confuses Brock when he starts going after submission moves.  Joe locked in the rear naked clutch 3 times but Brock refused to tap out.  Just as the match is coming to a close, a bloody and bandaged up Bray Wyatt comes out and blasts both Joe and Brock numerous times with a steel chair.   Bray then motioned for someone from the back to come out and two hooded individuals came out and put the boots to both Joe and Brock for 30 seconds.  Bray then calls them off and the three leave.  The ref then began to count and just before he hit 10, the bell rang signaling the end of the match.  This one ends in a draw!!!  The fans are not happy with this result as they were expecting a winner.  Max comes back out and says that he WILL make this one right for the fans.  They just need to stick with him a little while longer.  He promises the fans will like his plan.  The show comes to an end just as Max’s phone rings and he looks at the number at it’s the owners.  Hmm…wonder where we go from here.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2015 – #412 - Wargames – Day 1

Hello fans and welcome to our PPV – WARGAMES – LIVE from Kalamazoo, MI at Waldo Stadium.  The 36,000 seat outdoor venue is sold out for both days.  We expect the show to top all expectations. 

The show begins with pyro going off and GM Max McGillicutty coming out to greet the fans.  He says that he doesn’t want to waste any time and wants this amazing show in front of its amazing fans to get right into the action.  Max says the show kick off with 6 man tag team action.

The show starts with Eric Young, ‘Luke Warm’ Lucas Johnston and ‘Main Event’ Buff Austin heading to the ring.  The fans booed each and every one of them.   Johnston, surprisingly got a very vocal disapproval.  I guess this means he’s no longer ‘luke warm’ and he just plain sucks.  After they got to the ring, music hits and out comes Phat Sol accompanied by his niece Madame Jade.  They wait on the stage as Phat’s tag team partners, our team from the Great White North make their way out.  The Savior and Drew, the Canadian Love Machine come out to a good pop.  Phat Sol directs them to the ring and they head down collectively and enter the ring.  EY, Buff and Lucas all bailed out of the ring.  It took some convincing from the ref but they finally came back in and we got this one off to the races.  Phat chased EY around the ring but eventually caught up with him.  He beat down on him for a few minutes and kept Buff and Lucas on the outside. Phat kept EY on their side of the ring and wouldn’t let him tag out.  Phat tags in Drew, the CLM and he goes to work.  Austin and Lucas both tried to get in the ring but the Savior runs over and nails a flying body press taking both of them out before they could even get involved.  Drew then nails EY with a corkscrew pescado and makes the cover for the 1-2-3.  Drew, the Savior and Phat Sol are victorious in the first match of the evening.  They shake hands with the fans at ringside before heading to the back.  (10 min)

We cut backstage where we meet up with the World Tag Team Champions the Steel Curtain.  Buzz Steel comments that he doesn’t understand why the Desperados have become such “assholes”.  Starbuck says that they are frustrated that they couldn’t retain the titles and they’ll take it out on anyone they can.  Starbuck says that CJ has been on the receiving end of Stache’s frustration.  He says that tonight, the Desperados will be sent home empty handed.  Buzz nods his head and says “Word”.

We head back to the ring for our next match which is a TLC – Tables, Ladders and Chairs match between the American Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards), the Attitude Adjustment (Abyss & Adam Rose), the Dudley Boys (Devon and Bubba) and the Dust Brothers (Goldust and Stardust).  This is set up as an elimination match.   This one started off with all 8 men in the ring.  As one person is eliminated, the team can still win if one remaining member makes it to the end.  Adam Rose is the first person eliminated by Bubba after taking a chair shot to the face.  Abyss eliminates Devon Dudley after chokeslamming him through a table at ringside.  Davey Richards eliminates Stardust after diving off a ladder and putting Stardust through a table.  Eddie Edwards does everyone a favor and eliminates Goldust after DDT-ing him on a chair.  The Dust Brothers are out.  Bubba then eliminates Abyss after he and Eddie Edwards hit him with double chair shots.  The Attitude Adjustment are out.   The Wolves then dump Bubba out of the ring and have a stare off in the ring.  Eddie asks Davey if they want to do this and he says sure.  The two of them start having a technical match but that is cut short after Bubba drops Davey with a Bubba Bomb on a steel chair.  Eddie then attacks Bubba the starts blasting him with numerous chair shots.  Eddie goes for a pin but Bubba reverses it and hits him with a Bubba Bomb.  Bubba grabs a table and sets it up in the ring. He then picks up Eddie and climbs the turnbuckle.  He hits Eddie with the Bubba Bomb through a table.  He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  The Dudley Boys win this one and are working themselves up the ladder.  I am sure they will get a title shot sooner rather than later.  (30 min)

Backstage the Bella ladies (Taylor, Brie & Nikki) and they say that whomever scores the pin on their opponents will get a title shot at the person who is pinned.   There is no way their opponents will get anything resembling a win tonight.

We go back to the ring as New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods) make their way out to the ring.  They are dressed in singlets (apparently mocking the dress attire of the Varsity Club). While they are running around the ring like a bunch of goofballs, we cut to a video live streaming from the back.  Kurt Angle is giving his team (Jack Swagger, Frankie Kazarian & Bo Dallas) a pep talk.  Jack Swagger questions if they can really pull this off and Kurt says they just have to Bo-leave.  Bo Dallas smiles at the use of his trademarked phrase.  They huddle and then yell “BREAK” and then head to the ring.  Kurt Angle leads his team down to the ring.  The New Day was totally owning this match until Kurt called for a surprise guest to come out.  Out comes original Varsity Club member Mike Rotundo.  Rotundo (Bo Dallas’ dad) comes out to a nice pop.  Big E beats down on Kurt Angle and Kofi and Xavier rush to attack Mike Rotundo.  Rotundo fights them off but the numbers are too great.  The clock is winding down and as we approach the time limit, the New Day doesn’t seem to care as they just want to continue to inflict punishment.  They lay a beaten down Rotundo on a table that was set up and Kofi climbs the turnbuckle to deliver a flying splash.  Bo sees this and immediately recovers.  Bo grabs Kofi before he can launch and that gives Kazarian time to get Rotundo off the table.  Bo then launches Kofi and he goes crashing right through the table.  New Day is stunned.  Bo makes the hot tag to Frankie who drops Xavier.  Woods makes the hot tag to Big E but gets caught in a hammerlock.  Big E then shoulderblocks Frankie but then the bell rings signaling the end of the match.  Kurt is immediately in the ring to stop any further attacks but Big E looks like he wants to continue.  Mike Rotundo gets in the ring and stands by his son.  Big E and Xavier know they’re outnumbered so they grab an unconscious Kofi and leave the ring.  Big E curses at Kurt and Kurt tells him anytime he wants a match, he’ll know where to find him.  (30 min draw)

The Brethren (Viktor and Konnor of the Ascension and Kane) are being interviewed and there is tension amongst the team.  Reporter Clarkus Kentus asks the Ascension to explain here and now why they are no longer associated with Bray Wyatt even though they are the 6 Man tag team champs.  Kane leans in and says “now is as good a time as any”.  Viktor tells everyone that Bray had a vision and it showed that the Brethren were not part of the family any longer.  Konnor says the decision for the split is 100% on Bray and they did not feel the necessity to question it.  Kane looks at them and asks if he has a part in this future and Viktor said “unknown”.  Kane lowered his head and walked out.  The Ascension seem concerned and they follow.

Our next match is the Bella Trio (Nikki, Brie and Taylor) taking on the Women’s Champion Southern Belle, the Diva’s champion Jupiter Jane and Madame Jade.  If one of the Bella’s scores the pin on a champ, then that person gets a title shot at that title.  All of the Bella ladies saw action in the ring but for whatever reason, Madame Jade did not.  The two ladies champions did all the work in the ring but didn’t let Jade wrestle.  Nikki Bella looked to get hurt early on but like a trooper, she kept working the match.  The Bella’s had frequent tags in and out but that didn’t stop the onslaught brought by the two women champions.   Jupiter Jane just got done blasting the hell out of Taylor who made a hot tag to Nikki.  Jane tags in Belle who reversed an armbar and then tripped Nikki so she landed with her neck hitting the second rope.  Belle rolled her up and got the 1-2-3.  Belle, Jupiter Jane and Madame Jade get the win.  After the match, Madame Jade just walked away.  (10 min) 

The challengers to the World Tag team titles the Desperados (the Stache and El Chango) are being interviewed by reporter Larry Morton.  The Stache goes on a tirade about how he drove CJ out of the HWF and CSWA because there is no way he’d show his face around here after that beating he took.  El Chango says that it is time for the Tag Belts to come home as the Steel Curtain are not the rightful owners; they are.

We head back to the ring for our next match up which has the Enforcers (Ryback & Mark Henry) take on the X-Factor (AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels) and the Band (Dirk ‘the Pick’ Devon & the Axe).  The Enforcers hit the ring first followed by the Band and finally the X-Factor.   This one will be based on how many wins a team can get within a 60 minute time limit.  The Band score the first fall after Dirk Devon pinned Mark Henry.  The Enforcers scored the next fall after pinning the AJ Styles.  X-Factor scored back to back wins after Dirk Devon got counted out and then Axe got counted out.  The Band gets eliminated after Mark Henry got the Axe to tap out to a bear hug.  This one went right up to the final seconds of the match and after Ryback missed a spear, AJ nailed him with the Styles Clash and covered him for the 1-2-3.  The X-Factor win this one and will be in line next for a tag team title shot.  (45 min)

GM Max McGillicutty comes back out and again thanks everyone for attending.  Max says that they have 100% sold out this show and the place is at capacity.  Max says our final two matches of the evening will be for tag titles with the first being the 6 man titles held by the Brethren (the Ascension & Kane) and they are defending against the Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose), The A-Team (Adrian Neville, Antonio Cesaro & Alberto el Patron) and finally Prestige Inc. (Reid Rothchild, King Damian Sandow & Magnus).  The respective teams all hit the ring within a minute of each other and the champs come out last.  This one too will be an elimination match.  The last man standing will win, for his team, the 6 man titles.   In order of elimination:  Damian Sandow by Antonio Cesaro; Alberto el Patron by Magnus; Seth Rollins by Konnor; Viktor by Roman Reigns; Adrian Neville is eliminated by mistake after Cesaro, who was going after Kane, hit his partner by mistake (Neville via Kane/Cesaro); Reid Rothchild was also eliminated by his tag partner Magnus after Reid agreed to let Magnus continue for the team; Konnor is eliminated by Dean Ambrose; Kane then receives a superman punch from Roman Reigns and is eliminated.  The Brethren have officially lost the titles.  Magnus is eliminated by Cesaro; Cesaro is then double teamed by Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.  Ambrose holds Cesaro just as Reigns winds up for the Superman punch but Cesaro ducks and Ambrose eats it eliminating him.  Cesaro then hits Reigns with a Swiss uppercut and rolls him up for the final 1-2-3.  The A-Team have just become the NEW 6 MAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS.  Alberto el Patron and Adrian Neville come out and celebrate with their partner holding the titles high and then leaving as one united group.  (45 min)

GM Max McGillicutty comes back out and congratulates the new champions.  Max says the main event is up next and he is interrupted by the Desperados.  Stache gets into Max’s face and says that they too will be congratulated as the new champs.  They make their way down to the ring.  The Tag Team Champions the Steel Curtain are then introduced to one of the loudest pops of the night.  Starbuck and Buzz Steel hold their titles high as they make their way down to the ring.  Just as the champs enter the ring, El Chango and Stache go on the offensive and they rush to ring the bell to start this one off.  For the first 8 minutes of the match, the Desperados pulled all the stops out. The champs then battled back with numerous double teams but then so did the challengers.  After the 10 minute mark, this match was about as even as it could get.  Stache contemplated walking out a few times but then changed his mind.  All 4 men hit their specialty moves but none could keep their opponent’s shoulders down for that elusive 3 count.  The fans were actually cheering both teams as this was surely the highlight match of the night and well deserving of being the main event.  Before we knew it, we were 29 minutes in with only 60 seconds left.  Stache had just made the hot tag to El Chango and Buzz to Starbuck.  Just then, CJ comes out on stage and starts to walk down towards the ring.  The Stache sees him and jumps down to confront him just as El Chango was looking for double teaming.  The Stache started jaw-jacking to CJ who just stood there and smirked.   Back in the ring, El Chango caught Starbuck in a head scissors and just as he was going for the pin, the bell rang signaling a time limit draw.  Stache turned and went back to his corner but it was too late.  This one is over and the Steel Curtain retain their titles via time limit draw.  The champs leave as the Desperados complain in the ring.  CJ then runs in and drops the Stache with a bulldog headlock.  He then keeps running as to stay away from El Chango.  CJ laughs all the way back and the fans cheer.  El Chango sneers and shakes his fist but alas, there is nothing that can be done. 

Max is out for the final time of the evening and thanks the fans for attending.  Those who will be live and watching on PPV will be in for a treat tomorrow as there will be one additional match that has been approved and that will be added to tomorrow’s card.  Stay tuned for Day 2.
