Old Timers Classic Tournament - New EODRF Champion Crowned

Hello fans. In addition to the goings-on within the HWF and the CSWA, a new group has come up. It is called the EODRF federation (stands for Either Old, Dead or Retired Fogies). A tournament was held called the "Old Timers Classic" to see who would be crowned the first ever Old Timers Classic Champion. This is also based on the Pro Wrestling Superstars game but only has characters included from that era (there is no Rock or Steve Austin but there is a Rockers version of Shawn Michaels and "Big Scott Magnum Hall" from the AWA days.

Only 60 wrestlers, all chosen at random, participated. Those inclulded: Abdullah, RW Animal, Ricky Steamboat, Cpl Kirchner, Mad Dog Vachon, Curt Hennig, Magnum TA, Billy Jack Haynes, Kevin Von Erich, Stan Hansen, Ole Anderson, Black Bart, Kevin Sullivan, Superstar Billy Graham, Nikolai Vokoff, Arn Anderson, Roddy Piper, Paul Orndorff, Bruiser Brody, King Kong Bundy, Tito Santana, Mike Rotundo, Baron Von Raschke, Jesse Ventura, Ronnie Garvin, Randy Savage, Buzz Saywer, Big John Studd, The Missing Link, Mr T, Adrian Adonis, RW Hawk, Rick Rude, Chris Champion, Lex Luger, Wahoo McDaniel, Mike Von Erich, Big Bubba Rogers, Ivan Putski, Shawn Michaels (awa), One Man Gang, Bob Backlund, Kerry Von Erich, Ted Dibiasi, Nikita Koloff, Andre the Giant, Rocky Johnson, Rick Martel, Chief Jay Strongbow, Larry Zbyszko, Tully Blanchard, Michael Hayes, Barry Windham, Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Ric Flair, Bruno Sammartino, Ken Patera, Terry Gordy and Nick Bockwinkle.

The final four were Billy Jack Haynes, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant. Andre was eliminated by chump hogan, Shawn eliminated hogan. The winner of the tourny and 1st ever Old Timers Classic Champion.........Billy Jack Haynes.

Now, I have to come up with a top 10 for this too.

This is going to be ugly. Based on their win/loss record from the tournament, the top 10 looks like this (takes into account the total number of minutes spent in all matches between wins, losses and draws - if more than 1 wrestler had the same amount of matches, their ranking is determined on the lowest amount of time in the ring. If there is a tie, then the person who was ahead on points at the end of the match is ranked higher):

The results from these matches will be posted separately from HWF/CSWA/NWWA results.

In his first ever title defense, Billy Jack Haynes defeated Shawn Michaels with a Tin Soldier Suplex in 9 minutes.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_10.5 - The leadup to the PPV

Welcome back fans as we cover go over the matches for the upcomming PPV “Crazy Nights”. This PPV will be a split one with the CSWA hosting their matches live from Chicago, IL. Unfortunately, we do not know where the NWWA will be holding theirs. We have received no information at this time. Hopefully we will know by the time the PPV is supposed to start.


For the CSWA:
MVP will defend the Cruiserweight title against Rey Mysterio.
Bobby Lashley will defend the TV title against the Big Show.
Rey will have to pull extra duty to defend the US title against Shawn Michaels.
Booker T will have to meet Samoa Joe again for the World Title.
It was agreed that the World Tag Team titles held by Cryme Tyme would be defended on the CSWA show against the NWWA’s Bruiser and Tommy Dreamer.
The NWWA World Champion will take on the CSWA World Champion to see who goes on to meet the Negronomicon for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.

For the NWWA:

Santino will defend the X-Division title against Jay Lethal.
Chris Masters will defend the North American title against Matt Hardy.
Carlito didn’t want to defend the belt at the PPV so he gave John Cena his match early. Cena won the match by DQ so he was entitled to a rematch based on the contract he had with the Negronomcion. Carlito must defend the title.
Christian will take on Scott Steiner for the World title.
The World’s Greatest Tag Team will defend the titles against Stevie Richards and Golddust.
The Undisputed Heavyweight Championship held by the Negronomicon will be defended on the NWWA show based on who the world champions are after each of the shows end.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_10.4

Hello fans and welcome to the CSWA portion of the news. The first match that took place had the Super Warrior challenging Donnie B for his spot in the Cruiserweight contention. Donnie B tosses the SW out of the ring just as the bell sounds. Out of nowhere, here comes Mohammed Hassan. The SW is distracted by Hassan’s appearance and ends up getting counted out. Donnie B retains his spot. Hassan then hits the ring and attacks Donnie B. DB is joined in the ring by the SW and they both drive Hassan to the back. It appears that Hassan wants another shot at the Cruiserweight title and will stop at nothing to get it.

In the back, Regal talks with Donnie B. He wants to know if DB will accept the challenge from Hassan for his spot (Hassan had already expressed his interests to Regal). Donnie B says yes but on one condition. He wants a guest referee. Regal asks who and DB says Super Warrior. Regal says “I like the way you think. The match will happen later on tonight.” Donnie B thanks him and goes on his way.

The next match was the Great Khali challenging the Big Show for the #1 contenders spot for the TV title currently held by Bobby Lashley. Big Show started off the match with a big foot to Khali’s face but Khali came back with a relentles backbreaker. Big Show would not submit. Khali rammed Big Show into the ringpost but Big Show eye raked the giant one. Big Show then locked in the Cutting Edge and got a one count. A bodyslam from Khali and Show comes back by throwing him out of the ring. Khali is back in at the 7 count. Khali locks in the backbreaker again but Show won’t submit. Khali went for a piledriver but Show got out of it. Big Show stood on the neck of Khali and went for a pin and barely got a 1. Khali comes back with a smash into the ringmat. Show falls onto Khali causing the ref to count and Khali kicks out in the nick of time. Khali rams Show into the ringpost and this time I just think it made the Big Show mad cause he hit a huge clothesline out of nowhere and covered Khali for the 1-2-3. Big Show retains his spot.

Rey Mysterio is up next and he is supposed to be putting the US title on the line against JTG of Cryme Tyme. Since they won the Tag Team titles, they both opted not to go for the singles belts. This left two spots open. A mini battle royal tourney was held to see who would get those spots. The participants were Khali, Mick Foley, Jeff Jarrett, Undertaker, Edge, Abyss, Chris Jericho, Batista, Randy Orton, Kurt Angle, CM Punk, Shawn Michaels, HHH and Mohammed Hassan. Abyss started off against Foley. Abyss is eliminated after Foley delivered a flying elbow and then threw him out of the ring. Jarrett was next against Jericho. Jarrett gave Jericho a ringrope face burn but Chris came back and tried to lock in the Walls of Jericho. Jarrett powered out and ended up throwing Chris out. Next is Khali vs CM Punk. Khali rams Punk into the ringpost but Punk comes back with an awesome dropkick. He followed it up with a turnbuckle smash and Khali goes over the top. Next is Mohammed Hassan taking on the returning Kurt Angle. Angle is gone after Hassan taunted the crowd and Angle couldn’t stand it. Next was HHH against the Undertaker. HHH hit Taker with a sledgehammer just as the bell rang. Undertaker battled back but went over the top after HHH hit him with a flyiing knee to his face. Hassan vs Jarrett was next. Hassan hits an eyegouge but Jarrett hits a ringrope face burn. Jarrett went for a guitar smash but an eye gouge from Hassan and Jarrett went over the top rope. Foley vs Batista didn’t go very long as Dave immediately threw Mick out of the ring. Hassan vs HHH was next and this was a short one too as HHH went flying over the top after being suplexed out of the ring. Punk is eliminated by Shawn who just tossed him right over the top rope. Former tag team partners Randy Orton and Edge went at it. Edge is eliminated after Randy hits the RKO and throws Edge over the top. Hassan was out next against Batista. He hit the STO on Batista and almost got the pin. Dave got up and threw him out of the ring. There are 3 men left…Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels and Batista. Randy cowers outside the ring so Dave and Shawn go at it. Shawn Michaels eliminates Batista leaving Randy Orton as the last man. Both of these men get title shots. The winner of the match will receive the first shot. Shawn and Randy battle back and forth but Shawn always had the upper hand. The end came when Shawn threw Randy out of the ring. Randy refused to get back in the ring and got counted out. Shawn will get the next shot at Rey Mysterio.

Out next came Booker T who was told he had to defend his title tonight against Samoa Joe. Joe came out with Taz. The bell sounds and Joe starts off hot. He slaps Booker in a camel clutch but Booker is able to get out. Booker hits a forearm drop and Joe hits a big boot. Another forearm drop from the champ is met with the Rear Naked Choke. Booker makes it to the ropes. Joe locks in the RNC again and turns it into a pin. Booker kicks out at 2. Booker gits a spinning smash and Taz gets involved by choking Booker on the bottom rope. Joe pulls him off and goes for the pin but gets a 1 count. Out of nowhere, Booker hits the bookend and gets the 1-2-3. Booker hightailes it out of the ring as Joe and Taz complain to the ref.

Joe doesn’t leave the ring. He demands a rematch. Regal comes out and says he lost so deal with it and work your way back up. Joe says he doesn’t have time to waste so he challenges Abyss for his spot. Abyss doesn’t back down from a challenge so he accepts. It was a very hard fought match. Everytime Joe would take the lead, Abyss would battle back. It wasn’t until Taz got involved and itimidated the ref that control of the match went back to Joe. Joe tried but just couldn’t keep Abyss down. After Abyss missed a top rope guillotine, a powerful clothesline from Joe was enough (with the ref fast counting) to put Abyss down and win the match. Samoa Joe then called out Booker T and told him he was the top contender. Booker said he already wrestled today and this match wasn’t going to happen. Joe was told by William Regal that the match will now happen at the PPV.

The final match of the night is Donnie B vs Mohammed Hassan with the Super Warrior as the special guest referee. Donnie B started off with an eye rake on Hassan and Hassan came back with a stomp to DB’s gut. Donnie B then hit the Lights Out Brainbuster but Hassan kicked out at two. Hassan came back with the STO and got a two. Donnie B hits two consecutive superplexes and after the second one, goes for the pin but gets a two count. Hassan gets tossed out of the ring but makes it back in by 7. Donnie B hits Hassan with a chair but only gets a two count. Hassan hits the STO but DB hits Hassan with a chair…again. Donnie B hits another superplex and is a fraction of a second away from 3. The clock is counting down as we hit the final minute of the match. Hassan is unable to mount any offensive. Donnie B hits connects with an eye rake and rolls up the challenger for the 1-2-3. Donnie B retains his spot for the Cruiserweight Championship.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_10.3

Hello fans. Welcome back to our latest news update. Well, we have seen that Negronomicon is way in over his head in regards to running the NWWA. During the last glimpse we got of his office, we saw his desk was overflowing with past-due notices. It appears that N had not been able to pay off the arenas that he’s been booking in full and now even fewer arenas are willing to let him book there. N had hoped that by cutting payroll (as some stupid-ass computer companies have been doing lately) that he could cut back on expenses but that has not been happening. In fact, he’s actually losing money since fewer people are coming to see the shows. Negronomicon was informed by CSWA owner Jeff Meyers and GM William Regal that his wrestlers will no longer be able to wrestle on CSWA shows. This means that NWWA must host (and pay for) their own venues. This is not a good sign. The NWWA roster keeps shrinking and this is not helping the situation. While in his office, the Negronomicon was visited by John Cena. Cena asked why he wasn’t getting any ring time. N replied “You lost your world title match against Jarrett. You think you can just walk in here and demand a match? I should just fire you for being such an idiot.” Cena replied “No, no, no. You can’t fire me. You only have 3 world championship caliber wrestlers left….me, Christian and Steiner. You get rid of me, you’ll have nothing. What do you expect to keep doing? Having Christian vs. Steiner matches for the rest of the year? Give me a break. I’ll tell you what though. I don’t need a championship match…yet. Give me a shot as Scott Steiner. If I win, I take his place in the US title contention. If I lose, hell, give Steiner a world title shot against Christian. What’s there to lose? I’ll put asses in seats and you may actually get caught up on some of those bills.” Negronomicon was ticked (that he didn’t think of this sooner). “Fine, you and Steiner have a match. If you win, you get a shot at Carlito’s belt. If you lose, well, I’d hate to see you relegated to sweeping and mopping up floors…if you get my drift. Now get the hell out of my office.” Cena left.

The NWWA card has a few matches scheduled. The NWWA tag champs Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin have to defend the titles against the Bruiser and Tommy Dreamer. This match was up first.

Shelton started off the match against the Bruiser. Bruiser never had a chance. Shelton and Charlie double-teamed him for 5 minutes sneaking in a pin where they could. Finally around the 8 minute mark, the Bruiser got in his second offensive move of the night and made the tag to Dreamer. Dreamer came in only to be met with double-teaming by the champs also. Dreamer was beat from pillar to post and he was only able to get a single offensive move in. Finally, and mercifully, Shelton hit a huge power clothesline on Dreamer and made the cover. Haas knocked the Bruiser off the ring and the ref counted 1-2-3. The World’s Greatest Tag Team is victorious.

The next match for the night is Golddust taking on Mike Knox to deterimine who will get a shot at the North American title. Knox starts off the match with a power clothesline on Goldy. Golddust hits the Shattered Dreams on Knox but he gets right up and hits another huge clothesline. A blatant choke from Knox is met with a grinding headlock from Golddust. Another choke by Knox and a pin attempt but G kickes out. A headlock from Golddust is met with a power clothesline by Mike and a pin attempt but G kicks out at 1. Golddust manages to ram Knox into the ringpost giving him a chance to catch his breath. Golddust goes to the ropes but misses but Knox doesn’t. Mike hits a huge powerbomb and goes for the pin but somehow Goldy manages to kick out. Unbelievable. Golddust starts to battle back hitting a double fist to the jaw a couple of times, a headbutt and a piledriver. Knox somehow hits a powerbomb but can only get a 2 count. Knox hits another powerbomb and Golddust kicks out of that one too. Golddust hits the Shattered Dreams and Knox hits a powerslam but Golddust, ever the ring veteran, puts his foot on the ropes to break the count. Golddust hits the Golden Slam and then tosses Knox into the ringpost again. The bell rings signifying the end of the match as a time limit draw. Neither man get a shot.

The next match is Jay Lethal taking on the Hurricane for a shot at the X-Division title. Just as the bell rings, Hurricane starts to choke Lethal out with his cape. Hurricane goes to the ropes and does nothing but Lethal hits him with the ringside bell twice. I guess he didn’t like getting choked out at the beginning of the match. A neckbreaker from the Hurricane is met with an axe handle smash. Lethal goes for the pin but barely gets a 2 count. Lethal goes to the top rope and hits another axe handle smash. He goes for the pin and almost gets the three. A headlock from Lethal is met by the Nightmare on Helms Street. Both men are down (rest period). Lethal is up first, goes to the top rope and nails the Flying Elbow. He goes for the pin…1….2…desperation kickout by the Hurricane. Hurricane appears to be out on his feet. Lethal connects with a back suplex and makes the cover. 1…..2…..3. Jay Lethal is the winner and will get the next shot at Santino’s belt.

Since there was no winner between Golddust and Mike Knox, another contention match was held. This one has Matt Hardy taking on Fit Finley. The match begins with Hardy kicking Finley in the gut. Finley went for a kick of his own but was reversed by Matt and he delivered another kick to Finley’s gut. An eye rake by Finley is met with a standing suplex by Matt. A kick to the gut by Finley is met with the Twist of Fate by Hardy. Matt make the cover and gets the 1-2-3. Matt Hardy now gets a shot at Chris Masters’ North American title.

John Cena vs. Scott Steiner was next. Steiner starts off with a belly to belly suplex but Cena locks in a reverse chinlock. Cena went for and missed a knuckle jam and Steiner hit him with a standing suplex. A stomp to the gut by Cena is met with a side suplex from Steiner. Cena then tosses Steiner out of the ring but he is back in at 7. At this point, the Negronomicon comes out and stands at the top of the ramp. Steiner, taking advantage of the distraction, tosses Cena to the outside where he is thrown into the ringside steps. Steiner remains outside the ring to make sure Cena doesn’t make it back in. He rolls back in just as the ref counts to 10 and Steiner wins the match by countout. Scott Steiner now gets a shot at Christian’s belt.

With the IC spot now vacated, a match between John Morrison and Chris Daniels is set up to see who will take that spot. The match started off pretty even with Daniels keeping up with Morrison. About the 5 minute mark, Morrison turned up the heat and Daniels just couldn’t keep up. Morrison went for many pin attempts but somehow Daniels kept kicking out. Finally, in the final minute of the match, Morrison went for a turnaround sidekick but Daniels got out of the way just as the bell rang signifying a time limit draw. Even though Morrison was way ahead on points, he does not get a shot at the IC belt.

The Negronomicon still was not happy even though Steiner got win over Cena but he still wanted to see Cena punished for talking back to him. Negronomicon knows that he no longer can fire people at whim. If he does not want to go bankrupt in the next 30 days, he knows he needs Cena on his staff. He determines that he can punish him though by making him wrestle a second time tonight. This time, his opponent will be Kane and the winner will get a shot at the IC title.

Kane is already at ringside and out comes Cena to a huge pop. Cena gets in the ring as the bell sounds and tosses Kane out. Kane is really frustrated and almost gets counted out but he makes in back in at 9. Cena goes for a suplex but it is reversed by Kane who then tosses Cena to the ropes and attempts to bodyblock him but Cena does not go down. Kane looks concerned. An eye rake from Kane just gets him tossed out of the ring again. Kane makes it back in at 8. Cena turns to rap with the crowd and as soon as he turns around, Kane hits a chokeslam. Cena rolls out of the ring so there is no pin attempt. Cena is back in and gets scooped slammed but he just tosses Kane out of the ring again. As soon as Kane gets back in the ring, Cena grabs him and hurls him over the top rope. He follows Kane out and slams him against the ringside barrier. He rolls back in just as the ref counts to 10 and wins the match by countout. John Cena wins a shot at Carlito’s IC title.

So we now have 4 matches from the NWWA for their next PPV. Lethal will take on Santino, Matt Hardy takes on Chris Masters, John Cena takes on Carlito and Scott Steiner takes on Christian. Stay tuned for the updates from the CSWA.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_10.2

Hello fans. Welcome back to the second issue of October. Last issue we recapped updates in the NWWA. In this issue we will recap updates and such for the CSWA. Our biggest piece of information was that the CSWA picked up the contracts of HHH, Shawn and Jeff Jarrett. All three men were informed that since the top contenders was already in place, they would have to wait to be placed. Jeff Jarrett was the only one not satisfied with that. He told William Regal that he wanted to challenge Mick Foley for his spot for the US title. Foley, not one to back down from a challenge, agreed.

Foley started off the match in solid control. For the first five minutes of the match, Jeff got in 2 offensive moves. Mick stayed in total control until Jeff connected with the Stroke. Mick managed to kick out at 2 and regained the offensive. After a 13 minute grueling match, Mick won after a swift kick (one of many in this match) to Jeff’s groin. Jeff just couldn’t take it anymore and Mick won the match and retained his spot for the US title.

At this point, Mick is currently the #1 contender for both the US title held by Rey Mysterio and the World title held by Booker T. William asked which title he’d like to go after first. Mick replied by saying he wanted Rey Mysterio first and then Booker T at the PPV. Regal agreed and said that his next match will be against Mysterio at a future date.

MVP was up next defending the Cruiserweight title against MW3. This match was a long one. It ran a whole 18 minutes. MW3 put up very little offense but did better by getting out of the way of MVP's moves. After getting beat down for those 18 minutes, MVP gets the win after a devistating judo chop. After the match, Elijah Burke came out and challenged MVP to a match stating he was now the #1 contender after defeating Donnie B. MVP questioned why he needed to defend the title against him when he clearly beat him already. This prompted Burke to attack MVP and the refs needed to come down to restore order. This also brought out William Regal who said that at the next house show, MVP would defend the title against Burke. Burke had better keep to himself though as if he makes any attempt to attack MVP before their match, he would lose his title shot.

Rey Mysterio wanted to move up in the rankings so he challenged Donnie B for his spot. Donnie B would not accept the match unless Rey put the US title on the line first. The issue though is that Mick Foley was to receive the next US title shot. Donnie B approached Mick and asked if it would be ok. Mick said he didn’t have an issue with it so “Go For it.” This match was much shorter than the previous one. In 7 minutes, Mysterio made short work of the former HWF GM and got the pin after a big headscissors. Mysterio moves up in the rankings and Donnie B moves down.

The next match was Bobby Lashley defending the TV title against AJ Styles. AJ was moving quick; perhaps too quick for Bobby’s taste so the first thing he did was toss AJ out of the ring. AJ was back in by the 7 count. AJ connects with a backflip kick and Bobby hits a kick to gut. Bobby then gets Styles up in a full nelson lift and slam. Another kick to the gut by Lashley and Styles throws the champ out of the ring. Bobby gets back in at the 8 count. Bobby gets back in and throws AJ out of the ring again. He follows him out and they brawl before AJ is sent flying into the ringside steps. Bobby rolls back in just before the 10 count and wins the match by countout. After the match, the new #1 contender Big Show came out and attacked Lashley. He caught the champ with a chokeslam and left him laying in the ring after hitting the Cutting Edge.

CM Punk then came out and announced that he wanted the Undertaker. William Regal came out and said that the Undertaker was not in the building. He was asked if he really wanted a match tonight and would he be willing to fight anyone. Punk said he would and just send down whoever was free. This prompted Regal to acknowledge this and called out Punk’s opponent. A very familiar music hit and out came the returning Kurt Angle. Regal announced that whoever won this match would get a shot at the TV title. The former Undisputed Champion looked great. He had absolutely no ring rust whatsoever. After getting his bearings, he took control of the match and held on to it until Punk tossed him out of the ring. He got back in and Punk then went of the offensive. Punk went for a dropkick but missed. Angle picked him up and hit the Olympic Leg Sweep and rolled him up for the 1-2-3. Kurt Angle wins in his first match back. Welcome back Kurt. Now, just keep yourself clean.

As part of his return to the ring, Kurt had to be constantly tested for drugs. Prior to his going out to the ring, he was indeed tested and came back clean.

Regal was getting ready to announce the next match which would have the Undisputed Tag Team Champs – Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin defend the World Tag Team titles against Cryme Tyme. Just before the match was set up, he was approached by DX. They were here to ask Regal, not for a title match, but for a match against a top contender. Regal flipped a coin and said that DX would meet Dibiasi and Rhodes. If DX wins, they will take that spot for the tag team titles. Their match would be up after this one.

The World’s Greatest Tag Team came down to the ring accompanied by NWWA GM and the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Negronomicon. Out next came Cryme Tyme. The champs started off the match with a double team on JTG. Shelton came back with an armdrag and JTG hit a spinning toe hold. Shad comes in and hits Benjamin with a crippling piledriver. JTG runs in and knocks Haas off the apron. Negronomicon jumps up and he gets knocked down for his interference. In 3 minutes, Shad makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3. We have NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS – Cryme Tyme. Regal and Meyers come out and make sure that Negronomicon and his Posse members don’t interfere anymore. They are all sent out of the arena. Meyers and Regal congratulate the new champs. I am sure Haas and Benjamin are going to get reemed for this.

The next match is an inter-promotional one with the CSWA’s DX taking on the NWWA’s Ted Dibiasi and Cody Rhodes. Negronomicon showed up on the big screen and basically threated Rhodes and Dibiasi. He said that if they do not win their match, they’d best not come back to the NWWA. DX started off strong but the youngsters showed the veterans why this was a new age of wrestling. Dibiasi and Rhodes double-teamed Michaels for 3 rounds. The final round, Dibiasi hits Michaels with a steel chair and goes for the pin. He would have gotten it if HHH didn’t break the attempt. HHH is in now and is cleaning house against Rhodes. Another double team by Rhodes and Dibiasi and HHH is down. They went for pin attempts but HHH managed to kick out each time. Dibiasi is back in now against Michaels. HHH tries to get in the ring but the ref kicks him out. With the distraction going on, Dibiasi hits Michaels with a chair again and this time HHH does not make the save. Dibiasi and Rhodes win the match.

The following night was headlined by two matches in particular. First was MVP defending the Cruiserweight title against Elijah Burke. Burke went for a lariat and missed. MVP hit him with a superkick and got a 2 count. Burke basically had 3 offensive moves in the entire 9 minute match - a dropkick, a flying bodypress and an armbar. He was no match for the champ who just owned him. MVP got the win after hitting a devistating judo chop.

The main event was Rey Mysterio defending the US title against Mick Foley. Mysterio started off with a spinning heel kick and Mick connected with an eye gouge. Rey then tossed Mick out of the ring for that very unfriendly move and Mick barely made it back in. Mick then stomped on Rey’s throat and Rey connects with a big head scissors. Rey hits the hurricanrana and gets a 2 count. In frustration, Mick starts to rip hair out of his head. Rey hits a flying bodypress and gets the 1-2-3. Rey Mysterio is still the US Champion.

Mick is still in the ring and doesn’t want to leave. He calls out Booker T and demands his World title shot now. He doesn’t want to wait for the PPV. Booker comes out to oblige. Booker locks in a sleeperhold but Mick hits him with a chair. Booker then hits a forearm drop on Foley. A kick to the groin by Foley is followed up with another forearm drop by the champ. Booker hits yet another forearm drop and Foley counters with a belly to back suplex. He goes for the cover and barely gets a one count. Mick hits another belly to back suplex and still only a one count. Booker locks in a reverse chinlock (rest hold). A forearm drop by Booker and another chair shot by Foley. Foley is tossed out of the ring but gets back in at the 5 count. Booker is tossed out of the ring but is back in by the count of 3. A dropkick from the champ and Foley hits the Bang-Bang Piledriver. He goes for the pin but gets a 2 count. Booker hits a spinning smash but Foley stomps on Booker’s throat. He goes for the pin but gets just a 2 count. A forearm drop from the champ and you can tell Foley is getting really frustrated here. Foley connects with another piledriver but still just a two count. Mick hits the belly to back suplex but Booker keeps kicking out. Booker somehow manages to bounce off the ropes and catches Mick with a Bookend. Booker goes for the cover and gets the 1-2-3. Booker T is still the World Heavyweight Champion. I would be very surprised if Mick doesn’t get a rematch.

Before the show ended, CM Punk came out again and called out the Undertaker. Again, Regal came out and said that the Undertaker was not here. Punk started to question if the dead man was afraid of him. Just then, the Undertaker’s music hits and the lights go out. When they come back on, Punk is half way up the ramp and standing where he was just seconds earlier was the Undertaker. Undertaker motioned for Punk to come back to the ring but he wouldn’t do it. The show ended with Undertaker posing for the fans in the ring and then shaking hands with those at ringside before heading to the back.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_10.1 – the aftermath of the PPV

Hello fans, welcome back. Well, there was some serious fallout at the PPV as well as at the house show the night after. At the PPV, we saw Sting be forced into retirement after losing his match against Finley. Christian became the new NWWA World Champion but had to be taken out on a stretcher. Booker T defeated his long time arch nemesis the Undertaker to retain the CSWA World Title. Rick Steiner was forced into retirement and Scott had to go to the NWWA. Rey Mysterio defeated Booker to win the US title. The World’s Greatest Tag Team hold both tag titles now – the world and NWWA. The returning Mohammed Hassan lost his match against MVP. MW3 got trounced by Samoa Joe. Donnie B lost his match and spot to Elijah Burke. The Super Warrior didn’t lose his spot but did lose the match after Mysterio put the US title on the line and sucessfully defended the belt.

The following night at a NWWA show, the Posse all showed up in force. Negronomicon led his group down to the ring. He was followed first by the Unified Tag Team Champions – Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. Following behind them were X-division champion Santino, North American Champion Chris Masters, IC Champion Carlito and a sulking Jeff Jarrett. Negronomicon and the Posse got in the ring and Negronomicon took a mic and addressed the fans. “As you all know, the Posse were almost all undefeated at the PPV.” He threw an unhappy glance in the direction of Jeff Jarrett. “Jarrett, there are no excuses. You failed us. You failed Me. I cannot and will not accept failures. I will give you a chance to redeem yourself. You will have a match….right now. Your opponent is on his way to the ring.” The Posse exited the ring as the music hit for Jarrett’s opponent. It was none other than newly acquired Scott Steiner.

Scott didn’t look too happy with being a member of the NWWA now especially under these circumstances. Jarrett had a look on his face that showed determination not to let his team down again. Just before the match began, music hit and out came the NWWA World Champion Christian. He stayed at the top of the ramp and waived to the Posse in the ring. Steiner took advantage of the distraction and attacked Jarrett. Jeff battled back and quickly hit Scott with a guitar (this was a no DQ match). Jeff picked up Scott and connected with the Stroke. He covered Steiner and as the ref counted 1….2….oops, Jarrett got pulled out by Masters from the ring. Jeff was confused. The Posse then attacked Jeff and beat him all around the ring. When it came to Negronomicon’s turn, he hit Jeff with a low blow and then threw him back into the ring to Steiner. Scott hit a Frankensteiner and got the 1-2-3. Negronomicon got in the ring and announced the NEWEST member of the Posse and the winner of this match Scott Steiner. Negronomicon told the audience that because of the performace in this match, he was giving Scott a title shot at Christian. Christian, who was still standing on the ramp, motioned to the Posse to “bring it on” and then he left the ring.

Negronomicon then took a mic again. He said that tonight would be a night of announcements. He said that Santino was behind on defending the X-Division title. He told Santino that he would have to defend the title twice tonight. The first opponent for Santino is Fit Finley. As Finley came down, he walked by the Negronomicon who handed something to the challenger. Finley got in the ring and as the bell rang, he laid down. Santino made the cover and got the 1-2-3. Finley got out of the ring and approached N. He was then handed something else. This time we got to see what it was. Money. Finley was paid off again. Fit walked up the ramp counting his money and had a smile on his face.

The next opponent for Santino is one member of the World’s Greatest Tag Team Charlie Haas. As soon as the bell rang, Charlie exited the ring and ended up getting counted out. Santino has had 2 successful title defenses.

Carlito was then told that he would be defending the IC title against Shelton Benjamin. In the same fashion as the last match, Shelton left the ring and got counted out. Carlito was able to retain his title via countout. Negronomicon then told Carlito that he would have to defend the title against Scott Steiner in the future. This was put in place before Steiner became a member of the Posse. Carlito didn’t look too pleased.

This time he called out DX – Shawn Michaels and HHH. He told DX that they pushed him as far as he could take. He was going to offer them a truce. DX would get a title shot at the NWWA tag team titles. If they win, he will give them free reign in the NWWA to do whatever they want. They looked happy at this prospect. “BUT, there is a caveat. There has to be reprecussions. If you lose, you will both be fired. Now, I don’t want you to think that I’m playing favorites here so I will actually only put in one stipulation – this will be a no DQ match. You get to pick the type of match, environment, etc. You get to dictate almost everything.” HHH and Shawn were pretty happy. HHH started off “Well, the first thing we want is the Posse banished from ringside. Second, we want the match to be a streetfight.” Shawn then chimed in “Third, we want YOUR guarantee that no one from the Posse will get involved. And finally, we want you to just hand us the titles and all will be good.” Negronomicon had to stifle a laugh. “Well Shawn, I know you still have your sense of humor. No, I won’t just give you the titles but I will agree to the rest your terms. And by the way, your match starts….now.” Before the bell rang, the entire Posse attacked DX and beat them all down. They took chairs to Shawn and HHH. Both men were beaten and bloodied. Negronomicon signalled for the bell to ring and Shelton and Charlie hit a doomsday device on Shawn. They then hit HHH with a spike piledriver. Charlie and Shelton then took turns delivering splashes from the top rope. During this time, Negronomicon had directed the Posse to the top of the ramp honoring his agreement that they would be banned from ringside. Charlie and Shelton then took turns hitting both HHH and Shawn with a sledgehammer. Finally and mercifully, Charlie covered HHH and got the pin.

Negronomicon took the mic again. “Shawn and Hunter, since you lost the match, guess what? You are both FIRED. Now get your shit and get out.” Shawn and HHH had to be helped from the ring.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_9.4 – The Asylum PPV

Hello fans. Welcome to the Asylum PPV. One match has been changed for the PPV. Charlie Haas was scheduled to wrestle Santino but with the tag team belts on the line, the match was changed. John Morrison has been moved up and will now get the shot at Santino.

Before we get started, we wanted to touch on the situation involving Samoa Joe. Joe had been on a rampage lately and with TAZ in his corner, he’s becoming more focused. We are not sure if you are aware of it but it seems like Joe has been packing on the pounds lately. Not sure if he’s getting enough exercise or what. At the wrestling shows, more and more signs have been popping up. Here are some of our favorites we have seen so far:

“Joe’s gonna kill / eat you”
“Eat at Joes. He does”
“Buffet? Keep Joe away!”
“Samoa Joe may be dangerous to your health”
“Joe got Crabs at the Crab Shack”

Joe and TAZ are on the card first and his opponent is MW3. The only reason this match came up was that Joe needed an opponent and so did MW3 and Voila! We have a match. Joe and TAZ came to the ring first and they did not care for the signs that people were holding. Joe went as far as to take a sign away from a kid and tear it up and then throw it back at him. MW3 then came out through the crowd and posed a bit before heading down to the ring. Joe did not appear to be in a good mood and planned on taking out his frustrations on MW3.

Right off the bat, MW3 hits Joe with a superkick but Joe shrugs it off and hits a muscle buster for a 2 count. Joe then locked in the Rear Naked Choke but MW3 was able to get to the ropes to break the hold. MW3 hits a dragonscrew. Joe then locks in the RNC again but this time in the middle of the ring. MW3 has no where to go. Joe had it locked in tight so MW3 had no choice but to tap. The winner of the match: Samoa Joe.

Our next match is the Steiners vs the Worlds Greatest tag team for the World tag team titles. The Steiners were all over this one double-teaming at every turn. Charlie Haas took the brunt of the beatings but Shelton was always there to save him. The match kept going back and forth with no team getting the pin or submission. Just as things were looking bleak for the Worlds Greatest Tag Team, Negronomicon came out. This must have inspired them as they double-teamed Rick for 3 solid minutes. Finally, the bell rang signifying the end of the match as the time limit had been reached. Negronomicon pulled out a mic and told the ref to restart the match. He was not going to have the first title defense of the night end in a draw. The ref re-started the match and Scott was pissed. Benjamin and Haas double-teamed Scott and finally got ahead enough on points to go for a pin of their own. Negronomicon pulled on Rick’s leg making him fall off the ring apron. With no one to make the save, Haas and Benjamin were declared the winners of the match and the NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! They now hold both sets of tag belts. Negronomicon got in the ring and congratulated his team. They all left together. Rick Steiner is now officially retired and Scott must move over to the NWWA. With this move, Scott loses his shot at the TV title but is put into contention for the IC title. Rick’s world title shot is now vacated. Everyone moves up. The final spot will go to the winner between Jericho and Batista later tonight.

Next came the match between Finley and Sting. Sting needs to win this match if he doesn’t want to be forced into retirement. Sting owned Finley and in fact, made him his bitch. Finley didn’t mount much of an offense. The tide turned when Sting, after delivering a death drop in the middle of the ring, went for a cover and the ref slow counted. What the heck? What is going on here? Finley came back and locked Sting in a sleeperhold and even though Sting got to the ropes, he wouldn’t break the hold. He managed to get Sting into the corner and just started whipping him like a scalded dog. He beat him up with his fists pretty bad. Sting managed to get to his feet and screamed in the face of Finley and Finley gave a nasty eye gouge. He then rolled up Sting and the ref, making a fast count, counted Sting’s shoulders down and awarded the match to Finley. Negronomicon came out again and informed everyone that Sting was now FIRED! “Get your shit and get out!” Negronomicon screamed at him. Sting sulked and walked to the back a defeated and broken man.

Next on the card is MVP defending the CSWA cruiserweight title against Mohammed Hassan. This match was pretty even considering Hassan had only wrestled once since his return to the ring. He stayed with MVP for the majority of the match but the longer the match went, the more tired Hassan became. MVP was hitting him will all kinds of high flying moves. In the end, after a well placed flying dropkick hit its mark, MVP made the cover and 14 minutes was declared the winner and STILL the Cruiserweight Champion.

The US/World Heavyweight Champion Booker T was out next defending the US title against Rey Mysterio. Rey started off the match with a hurricarana and that dictated the rest of the match. Booker must have been concerned with his match against the Undertaker later that his mind just wasn’t in the right place. Rey has never been on fire like he was in this match and in the end, after getting nailed by the 6-1-9, I think Booker just gave up. Rey got the 1-2-3 and was declared the winner and the NEW US Champion.

Rey stayed in the ring as the Super Warrior came down. Rey was extremely confident in his ability to beat SW that he actually agreed to put the US title on the line. As soon as the bell rang, SW hit Mysterio with the Superbomb and got a 2 count. Rey came back and hit the 6-1-9 but only got a 2 count. Mysterio followed it up with a hurricarana. A reversal by Rey and SW goes sailing out of the ring. He makes it back in at 5. A one arm chokeslam from SW is not enough to put Rey and another 6-1-9 put SW down for the count. The winner – Rey Mysterio.

Chris Jericho vs Batista was up next to determine who receives the final slot for the World title. Jericho caught his opponent off-guard early after connecting with an elbow off the ropes. Batista hit a powerslam while Jericho hit a chop to chest. I think that made Batista mad. Dave connected with an Enforcer Spinebuster while Jericho locks on a headlock. Another spinebuster from Dave but Chris locks him in the Walls of Jericho which Batista powers out of easily. Chris tossed Dave to the outside where he brawled briefly with the big man. After throwing Dave into the ringside steps, he rolled back in just before the 10 count. The winner of the match by Countout: Chris Jericho. Jericho now gets the final spot for the World title.

Donnie B vs Elijah Burke was next. Donnie B started off the match by hitting Burke with a chair. DB continued with a Guerrero stomp. Burke battled back with a hip toss and DB hit the stomp again. Burke then caught DB in a bulldog but somehow Donnie B got Burke to the top turnbuckle and hit a superplex. I think that did more damage to DB than Burke as Burke was quick to his feet and hit a flying dropkick. DB gets up and hits a neckbreaker but only gets a two count. A flying dropkick from Burke is met with the Lights Out brainbuster but DB only gets a 2 count. The funny thing about this match is Donnie B started off like a wildfire but then as the match went longer, fizzled out. This match looked like it was going to hit the time limit. Burke hit DB with a loaded glove but only got a 2 count. He hit another bulldog but, again, only a 2 count. Finally, in the last 30 seconds of the match, Burke hit a flying lariat and was finally able to get the 1-2-3. Burke moves up in the standings while DB drops.

To determine who will rank higher for the World Title, Abyss took on Mick Foley (in his Cactus Jack attire). These two brutalized each other. Abyss was always in control but Foley was able to dish it out as good as he could take it. Abyss hit many Blackhole slams but was never able to get the pin. Foley looked like he could win it after hitting the bang-bang piledriver but Abyss was able to kick out. In the end, the bell rang signifying the end of the match. Both men looked banged up and bruised. They shook hands afterwards and left the ring together. Foley retains his spot.

Santino vs John Morrison followed. Santino really appeared to be the underdog here especially based on Morrison’s win over Christian. John started off with an eye gouge but Santino hit a flying 5 arm. A smash in the corner from Morrison and another flying 5 arm and a pin attempt from Santino but he only got a 2 count. John went for a running knee smash but Santino got out of the way. Santino tried for a fist drop but John moved. A nice suplex from Morrison and Santino was up on the top rope and collided with another flying 5 arm. He made the cover and with a little help from some tight pulling, he got the win. The winner and still the X-Division Champ – Santino Marella. Negronomicon came down to congratulate him and they left together.

The North American title was on the line next as Chris Masters defended the belt against Chavo Guerrero. Chavo hit a forearm smash and Masters just took it. Chris then threw Chavo out of the ring and then handcuffed him to the guardrail. Masters got back in as Chavo tried to free himself but to no avail. Chavo is counted out. The winner by CO and still the North American Champion – Chris Masters.

Carlito, the IC Champion, came out next to meet up with Kane. Negronomicon came down to the ring with Carlito. Kane charged Carlito but he moved. In fact, he kept moving and eventually jumped out of the ring. He and Negronomicon then left but Kane came out to chase after them. They turned around and started to beat down on Kane but Kane pushed N out of the way and dragged Carlito back to the ring. The ref was still counting as Carlito was tossed back in but he kept going. As Kane entered the ring, Carlito had slid back out again and the ref signalled for the bell. Kane wins the match on count out but does not win the title.

Edge is finally back and this is his first match since his injury at the hands of Christian months ago. He was itching for some gold and expected to take it from the man who just won it – Bobby Lashley. For a man who’d be out for a few months, Edge showed very little ring rust. Bobby connected wth the dominator early but Edge managed to kick out. Both men duked it out with Edge getting closer to pinning the champ. Edge finally, out of nowhere, hits the Spear. He makes the cover. 1…….2……KICKOUT. Well, kickout may not be the appropriate word here. Lashley powered out like a madman. Edge was beside himself. Lashley threw Edge into the corner and then charged connecting with a football tackle. Between the bulk of Lashley and the turnbuckles, Edge had no where to go. He collapsed and Bobby made the cover and got the 1-2-3. Bobby Lashley is still the CSWA TV Champion.

There are only 4 matches left for the evening. Christian vs. Jeff Jarrett in a cage, Booker T vs Undertaker and then Negronomicon taking on the winner between the NWWA and CSWA world champions.

Booker T vs Undertaker was next. Booker came down and did not look pleased one bit. Undertaker started off like a bullet but the champ stayed with him. Booker hit the bookend early on but it didn’t stop the deadman. Undertaker even hit the Last Ride a few times but the Champ kept his wits. After controlling the match for the first 7 minutes, Undertaker took over. Both men threw each other out of the ring but both got back in. For the next 6 minutes, Undertaker showed why he was such a dominating champion. Finally, Booker locks in a sleeperhold and turns it into a pin attempt. With the help of the ropes and some tight pulling, Booker gets the 1-2-3 and is still the CSWA World Heavyweight Champion.

The steel cage match is next pitting NWWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett against Christian. Christian has waited for this match for a long time. Christian came down first and got into the cage. He was then followed by Jarrett and the rest of the Posse. As soon as Jarrett got in the ring, the door was locked and the bell rang. Christian grabbed Jarrett by the hair and tossed him. Jeff got up and gave Christian a vicious eyerake. Jarrett followed it up with a chop to the chest. Christian went to charge Jarrett in the corner but he moved at the last second. Jarrett then catapulted Christian into the cage but he immediately came back with crushing Jeff’s fingers in the cage and then hit him with the Unprettier and got a 2 count. Christian then went to the top of the cage and hit the B-52 kneedrop. He made the cover and somehow Jarrett kicked out just as the ref’s hand came down for the final count. Somehow Jarrett managed to get his senses back and from out of nowhere, he hit Christian with a guitar. He went for the cover but got a 2 count. Jarrett catapulted Christian into the cage again but Christian delivered a low blow and Jarrett went down. Christian went to the top of the cage again and hit another B-52 kneedrop. The ref came over and started to count 1…..2……3. Now Christian has to get out of the ring. The Posse are all there doing their best to prevent him from coming down. Jarrett got up and pulled Christian back in. Christian delivered an eye gouge but Jarrett came in with the Stroke and a pin attempt but only got 2. Jarrett gets him up and hits the Stroke again but still only a two count. Christian then hits a running powerslam into the cage but Jarrett knocks him down and goes to the top to deliver his own B-52 kneedrop. He makes the cover and the count goes 1….2…..3. Both men now have a pin in the ring and it is a race to get out of the cage. Jarrett goes over the top and starts to climb down. Christian does a sliding kick against the cage door and it flies open. Christian crawls out and hits the ground only a second before Jarrett does. Christian is the winner of the match and the NEW NWWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. After he is given the belt, the cage is raised and the Posse all attack Christian. They really try to soften him up for his next match against Booker T.

A beat down (newly crowned) world champion lays in the ring as the Posse leave and Booker makes his way down. He motions to Negronomicon that he will be taking that belt away from him. Negronomicon looks concerned. As the bell rings, Booker gets Christian to his feet and then hits the scissor kick. He goes for the cover but then is pulled out of the ring by the Posse. He is handcuffed to the ringside barrier as Christian is in the ring unconscious. The ref starts to count both men. Christian stirred a bit but was unable to make it to his feet. Booker was given the keys by Masters as the ref counted nine. Booker did not make it back into the ring before the 10 count and Christian never got to his feet so the ref called the match a double countout. Since neither man won, Negronomicon did not have to defend the Undisputed Championship. The Posse all left together and that was the end of the show.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_9.3

Hello fans. It’s Labor Day weekend. It was just announced that the next PPV will be called “The Asylum”. The matches set up so far will be listed below.

A brief CSWA bit of news…MVP and Booker both hold singles titles. They said there was no way they were going to defend both belts at the same show so in the news below, we will recap Booker’s US title defense and MVP’s TV title defense. The Cruiserweight title and the World title will be defended at the PPV unless we have new champions crowned and if there are, all belts will be defended.

We have a few pieces of news to cover from the NWWA and then will jump right into the CSWA matches.

First, Christian was made (not sure how Negronomicon pulled it off) to put his contract on the line against John Morrison. As Christian was on his way to the ring, the Posse attacked him while Morrison stood in the ring. After beating Christian down for a few minutes, they tossed him into the ring with Morrison. Christian tried to battle back but Morrison stayed on top. After a huge bodyslam from the top turnbuckle, Morrison made a swan dive and covered Crhistian for the 1-2-3. Negronomicon came out and said that Morrison would receive the next World title shot. He asked Morrison to give him the contract but when they looked around, the contract and Christian were gone. By the time they realized it, Christian was up in the stands with contract in hand. Negronomicon was screwed. He already announced Morrison as the person receiving the next title shot and since Christian was already penciled in for the PPV, he had no choice but to do the match right now.

Jeff Jarrett came out and told Morrison he needed to lay down. John replied that he doesn’t lay down for anyone. This prompted Jarrett to beat down on him prior to the match beginning. Finally the bell rang. The first thing Jarrett did was to clock Morrison with the guitar. The ref diverted his eyes so he did not “see” the cowardly move. Morrison battled back with a huge bodyslam and a cover but no pin. He went to talk to the ref and Jarrett came and hit him with the Stroke. The ref made the cover and the count 1-2-3. Jarrett retains the World Heavyweight Title.

The other piece of news revolves around the NWWA tag team titles. Haas and Benjamin were being granted one last shot at the belts. They were told that if they did not win the belts back, they would have to be let go. “NOOOOOOOOO” was their reply and they vowed to once again become champions that the Negronomicon could be proud of. Finley started off the match against Benjamin. Finley overpowered his opponent easily. Sting called for the tag but Finley wouldn’t tag him in. Haas was able to make the tag and Finley locked him in a sleeperhold. Haas made it to the ropes. Just as he broke the hold, Haas locked in the Olympic Deathlock and before you could say “Huh?”, Finley tapped. Quickly. Sting never had a chance to get into the ring. Benjamin and Haas are once again the NEW NWWA Tag team champions. Sting got in the ring and confronted Finley. Finley delivered a knockout punch to Sting and he went down. This prompted Negronomicon to come down. Finley started to yell at the NWWA owner but stopped when he got in the ring. Negronomicon pulled out a wad of cash and handed it to Finley. Finley smiled and nodded and left the ring after kicking Sting in the gut for good measure. Negronomicon said “Welcome back boys” to the World’s Greatest Tag team and they all left together.

In the back, Negronomicon was asked what was going on with Finley. “Finley knows who is running the show and if I want something done, it gets done. HE was more interested in the money than the belts and felt Sting would only be a glory hound. He was happy to accept my bribe.” Sting approached the GM. “I don’t know what the hell you think you’re doing but you just cost me the tag team belts. I want Finley in a match at the PPV. “ Negronomicon said “Fine, but with a stipulation. If you lose your match against Finley, you will be fired. Take that to the bank.” He then walked away.

The last bit of info was the newly crowned 2x Tag Team champions Benjamin and Haas taking on Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiasi for their spot in the World Tag Team lineup. The new champs dominated the challengers and the match ended when Haas caught Rhodes with a face-plant suplex.

CSWA
The first match was MVP vs Bobby Lashley for the TV title. This match was even all the way. MVP’s quickness was countered by Lashley’s strength. After 9 minutes of back and forth action, Lashley connected with the Dominator and in the middle of the ring, got the 1-2-3. Lashley is the NEW CSWA TV Champ. He will be defending the belt at the PPV.

The next match up has Booker T vs Chris Jericho for the US title. Jericho took control early on but lost the ability for going for the pin attempt. As Booker started to battle back, Jericho got nervous and tossed Booker from the ring. Booker took the time to get counted out and even though he loses the match, he retains the US title.

The next match had the Steiners vs Donnie B and Mark Henry for the World Tag Team Titles. The stipulation is still in place that if the Steiners lose, Scott must go to the NWWA and Rick will have to retire. This was a short one. Henry started off against Scott. Scott hit a Frankensteiner on Henry, went for the pin but Henry powered out. This prompted Rick to come in and double team. They totally beat down the big man. Rick connected with a belly to belly suplex and made the cover and got the 1-2-3. This match was over in 3 minutes. After the match, Donnie B and Mark Henry mutually agreed to split the team and just go after singles titles.

CM Punk vs Mysterio for his shot at the US title. Rey had no intention of giving up his spot as he connected with a 6-1-9 right off the bat but only got a 1 count. Rey then tossed Punk to the outside but he made it back in quickly. Rey just continued to dominate his opponent and in 6 minutes, finished him off with a huge headscissors. Punk was not happy and tried to beat down Rey after the match. Punk went for a flying clothesline, Rey ducked and Punk went flying over the top rope. I don’t expect this one to be over.

Jeff Jarrett vs Christian for the NWWA world title in a steel cage
Carlito vs Kane for the IC title
Chris Masters vs Chavo Guerrero for the NA title
Santino takes on Charlie Haas for the X-division title
Booker T vs the Undertaker for the CSWA World Heavyweight title
MVP vs Mohammed Hassan for the Cruiserweight title.
Abyss vs Mick Foley for the #2 spot for the World title
Samoa Joe vs MW3
Donnie B vs Elijah Burke. If Burke wins, he gets Donnie B’s spot.
SW vs Rey Mysterio for his spot for the Cruiserweight title.
Batista vs. Chris Jericho to determine who will receive a future title shot. The belt in which the shot will be granted is not decided as of this time.
Finley vs Sting. If Sting loses, he must retire.
Bobby Lashley vs Edge for the TV title
Steiners vs the Worlds Greatest Tag team for the World Titles.
Booker T is being told that the US title must also be defended. His opponent will be Rey Mysterio.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_9.2

Hello fans. We start off this newsletter with the announcement that Negronomicon has decided to offer John Cena a world title shot first before Christian. His reasoning for this is that “Cena did a good job setting up the ring whereas Christian did a lousy job on his bathroom.” It is this reporters personal belief that Christian may never get his world title shot at this rate. I am sure someone, somewhere, will make sure it happens.

In other news, Negronomicon has received bills for house shows and has yet to pay them. He claims the over-inflated salaries of the “chumps” working for him are causing him to fall behind. In fact, this reporter learned that N still has yet to pay for the last PPV that Donnie B ran as his last as HWF GM. The creditors have come a-knocking. We’ll have to see what happens. Other news tying into this is that since Donnie B lost the HWF to the Negronomicon and the subsequent renaming of the federation to the NWWA, attendence at shows has plummeted. CSWA, on the other hand, has improved by leaps and bounds. I think that is why Regal and Meyers were backstage the other night. I think they were trying to increase their talent pool. With the announcement that N made to his wrestlers in the last newsletter, it does not appear likely that may of them will be able to jump ship.

Negronomicon was back in his office inundated with past due notices, he was approached by the Posse. Jarrett came in and asked what they could do to help. Negronomicon said that even though his speech last week was supposed to inspire fear and dedication from the wrestlers in the NWWA, that he may have to cut some people in order to lower salaries and start paying on these bills. “All of you”, Negronomicon said “will be safe from anything happening going forward. I appreciate the support from each and everyone of you. All I ask is for you to be there when you are needed.” They all said (in unison) that they would and that brought a smile to N’s face.

The NWWA held some matches and here are the results:

Matt Hardy & Chris Daniels vs Sting and Finley. This match was to see if the team of Daniels and Hardy could take away the spot held by Sting and Finley. The team of Daniels and Hardy did very little except when Matt was in the ring. The team of Finley and Sting were victorious and were able to hold on to their tag team title spot.

While Sting was still in the ring, Carlito came down to defend the IC title against him. Sting controlled the majority of the match but Carlito snuck in some offense here and there. At 9 minutes into the match, Sting hit the Scorpion Death Drop and nearly got a pin if it weren’t for Chris Masters coming out to distract Sting. Carlito then got up and hit the coconut neckbreaker and with the help of Masters holding down Sting’s leg, he got the 1-2-3. Carlito retains the IC title.

After that, Negronomicon came back out and told Sting that he and Finley have moved up in the rankings but now needed to fight the #1 contenders – The Bruiser and Tommy Dreamer. If they win, they will become the top contenders for the NWWA tag team titles held by the Worlds Greatest Tag Team. Sting was looking pretty tired and asked if he really had any other choice. N told him “Not really” and sent down Finley again along with the Bruiser and Dreamer.

Sting and Finley vs Tommy Dreamer and the Bruiser. At this point, Sting was really looking the worse for wear. Finley started off the match but the team of the Bruiser and Dreamer controlled early on and went for early pin attempts with no success. Sting, finally rested, tagged himself back in much to the shagrin of his partner. Sting then went to work on Dreamer not letting any offense happen. Finley tagged himself back in and Sting appeared to be upset. Finley caught Dreamer in a sleeperhold and as Sting delivered a flying dropkick to the Bruiser on the outside of the ring, Dreamer went to sleep. The ref raised and dropped Dreamer’s hand 3 times and that was it. Sting and Finley are now the #1 contenders for the NWWA tag team titles. This again prompted Negronomicon to come out and applaud them. “Well done, well done. Now, your real battle is ahead of you. Haas and Benjamin will defend their tag team titles against you. I have decided that a cost cutting measure needs to happen. If the two of you do not win the tag team titles, then whomever is pinned or submitted will promptly be fired from the NWWA. Good luck gentlemen. You’ll need it.”

Sting and Finley now get their tag team title shot against the World’s Greatest tag team. Sting is tired and both men are not happy with each other for disrupting the offense each person had going in the ring. Finley refused to get in the ring first so Sting started off against Shelton Benjamin. Sting and Finley dominated the champs. They beat them from pillar to post. Sting got a 2 count after delivering the death drop and Finley tagged himself in. He went to work on Haas while Benjamin looked on. Sting was tagged in again and as he connected with a death drop, Finley ran in and hit a nasty forearm smash to Benjamin knocking him from the ring. Sting made the cover and got the 1-2-3. Sting and Finley are the NEW NWWA Tag team Champions. Holy Crap.

In the back, the defeated team of Haas and Benjamin were approached by the Negronomicon. “I am very disappointed in you boys. Not sure what the hell just happened out there. I thought I did a good enough job softening them up for you. “ “No excuses” said Shelton. “We let you down. We know this. We ask for your mercy and allow us to remain here in the NWWA where the greatest wrestlers from all over the world wish they could be.” Haas added in “We beg for your mercy and ask that you grant us a future shot to bring those titles back to you and the Posse.” Negronomicon had a smile on his face. “You boys will get another shot but until then, even though you are still members of the Posse, you will NOT ride with us. Champions ride together. Once you reclaim the tag belts, you will be allowed to hang with us again.” Benjamin said “We thank you for your mercy and we promise not to let you down again.”

John Cena was up next getting his newly appointed title shot against world Champ Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett didn’t have a chance. Cena was all over him and barely let him get any offense in. Jarrett was tossed out of the ring and as he tried to leave, Cena chased him down and got him back in the ring before the 10 count. Cena was on fire. Jarrett kinda just stood there biding his time it seems. Finally, Cena tossed Jarrett from the ring and Jarrett took off like a scalded dog. The ref made a fairly quick 10 count and although Cena was declared the winner of the match, he did not win the World title.

Jarrett came to the back where he was congratulated on his ability to retain the title. Negronomicon was happy with him. Jarrett headed off for the showers. As Jarrett got to the back, he was immediately attacked. Christian was all over him beating him up and down, sideways and diagonally. He hollered at Jarrett “I want my title shot. Sign this now.” It was a contract (stolen from the desk of the Negronomicon) guaranteeing the holder of this document a title shot. Jarrett, cowering in the corner and bloody, signed the document as Christian stormed out to the ring.

“Ok Negronomicon. You wanted to play dirty. Now, as you can see, so can I. I have this document that guarantees me the next title shot. I’m going to give you time, though, to get your ducks in a row. No DQ, No Countout. In fact, let me modify this really quick.” Christian pulled out a pen and wrote something down on the document. “Ok, we are set. At the next PPV, I get my World Title shot against Jeff Jarrett. No interference as we will be in a steel cage. One on one. You and your Posse will have no chance in HELL stopping me. I will get my title and will make sure I take it all out on Jarrett.” Christian left the ring and then left the building.

In the back, Negronomicon was trying to hatch a plan to try to screw Christian out of his title shot but was not having any luck. The contract, in fact, had been drawn up by the Negronomicon’s lawyers – the team of Blackman, Black and Blacksburg. This document has been compared to the “Massey Pre-Nup” as created by Miles Massey as “unbreakable”.
I’m sure he’s going to try something but let see what he can do.

Chris Masters was sent out next to defend the North American title against Mike Knox. As soon as Masters got in the ring and the bell rang, Knox tossed him to the outside. He then stood back while Masters stood on the outside. The ref counted and Masters was counted out. Knox is given the win and Masters retains his title. Both men nodded to each other and then left the ring.

Negronomicon was in his office and had called in John Morrison. Morrison was told that if he could beat Christian one on one, he would give him that title shot. Morrison agreed to the match. Now, Negronomicon thought, how do I get that contract away from him? Hmmm.

The final match of this night was Santino defending the X-division title against Hurricane Helms. Hurricane started off strong early but fizzled out as Santino took over. Santino hit a flying 5-arm smash out of nowhere which is what put the Hurricane off his game plan. Santino continued the offense with a flurry of bodypresses, fist drops and jerky turkey splashes. Finally after hitting a fist drop from the top rope, he covered the Hurricane and got the pin. Carlito retains the X-division title.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_9.1

Well, things are moving along at a much faster pace than I had expected. After the comments from the Negronomicon were posted, I tried to get with wrestlers in the NWWA and NO ONE wanted to go on the record. Everyone now seems to be in fear of losing their jobs. We know that Negronomicon fired Jeff Hardy as punishment for not winning the tag team titles but I secretly think that N didn’t care for his grooming habits either and was looking for another victim. This REGEIME (yes, I said it) is turning the wrestling world on its ear. This reporter was on his way to the next house show and as I pulled into the parking lot, I saw half a dozen wrestlers out on the street wearing sandwich boards advertising the evenings show. There were also wrestlers out there doing magic tricks trying to get people to buy tickets for the show. Mike Knox, Finley, Stevie Richards and Jay Lethal were out in their sandwich boards trying to direct people to the box office to buy tickets. The Hurricane was doing magic tricks for the kids hoping this would convince the parents to but tickets. Even Shawn Michaels and HHH were out on the street doing pantomime for the passer-byers. They looked the least happy but at least they were outside. Inside the building was a different story. John Cena, Kane, Sting and John Morrison were put to work helping set up the ring. Matt Hardy and Chris Daniels were mopping up messes from earlier. Christian probably had the worst task of all and that was cleaning the bathroom of Negronomicon’s office. It was pretty nasty. I think Tommy Dreamer and the Bruiser had it the easiest. They were in charge of helping set up the concession stands.

At the venue, a stretch limo pulled up and out came the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion the Negronomicon, the NWWA World Champ Jeff Jarrett, IC champion Carlito, TV champ Chris Masters, X-division Champ Santino and the Tag champs - the World’s Greatest tag team – Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. The Posse are in the building.

One announcement that Negronomicon made is that he doesn’t want Matt to sit around wallowing in self-pity so he put him back in tag competition with a new partner – Chris Daniels. A match has been made pitting the newly formed team of Hardy & Daniels against Sting and Finley. If Sting’s team wins, they retain their spot for the NWWA tag belts. If they lose, Hardy and Daniels get that spot.

Another match that has been made is putting Christian against John Cena to determine the #1 contender to Jarrett’s NWWA World title. I think Negronomicon is out to screw over Christian every chance he gets.

Shortly after the Posse arrived on the scene, a car pulled up with GM William Regal and owner Jeff Meyers in it. They got out and were discussing the possibility of people starting to jump ship to get away from the tyranny that is the Negronomicon. They headed backstage and were sure to steer clear of the Posse.

Negronomicon came out when the show started and addressed the fans “By now, I’m sure all of you had read my memo about not disrespecing me anymore.” This lead to plenty of “You Suck” and “Asshole” chants. N continued “If this is the way you want to play it, then fine.” He walked down to the ringside area where a fan was flipping him off. Immediately, N signaled for security and the fan was jumped, cuffed and hauled out. “There is the first example of the crap I will NOT take. Who’s next?” Another fan I believe who was friends with the poor chap that was taken away jumped the ringside barrier and got into N’s face. He didn’t get very far as more security were on hand to jump him, cuff him and take him away. “Let’s go for 3 shall we?” The fans started to become really quiet. Only one person, way up at the top, was still yelling at him. After the camera zoomed in on him, it was none other than…….Shawn Michaels. HHH was trying to pull Shawn away now that the spotlights were on him. Negronomicon addressed Shawn “Well, I thought you were supposed to be outside bringing more people in. Do you not have anything to do now? I’ll tell you what. You and HHH are now scheduled for a match. This will be a top contenders match for the NWWA tag team titles. You and HHH will take on the current #1 contenders Tommy Dreamer and the Bruiser. If you win that match, you will get a pass. If not, well, let’s just say if you want your job, I’d highly recommend you win your match. So without further ado, get your asses to the ring.”

The first match of the night began with Shawn and HHH making their way to the ring. Bruiser and Dreamer were already there. Just as the match began, Dreamer and the Bruiser took singapore canes to the heads of their opponents. Negronomcon told the ref NOT to ring the bell. The match continued with both HHH and Shawn a bloody mess. Dreamer connected with a DDT in the ring and the Bruiser came in and was able to secure the win for their team. As soon as thematch ended, Bruiser and Dreamer were told to leave the ring. They left in a hurry. As soon as they were out of the ring, the Posse came down and continued the beat down on DX. Out of nowhere, from the stands, a guy was running down. Wait….he’s wearing a mask…HELL….it’s MW3. MW3 got in the ring with a chair and immediately started swinging taking out Masters and Santino. Carlito bailed out of the ring as did Jarrett. He grabbed a mic “You know what Negronomicon, I am not a wrestler on your staff anymore but I’m not going to sit back and watch you belittle everything and everyone. You’re finished. “ He got out of the ring and started chasing the members of the Posse to the back. Just as they backed far enough up the ramp, he dropped the chair and took off through the crowd taunting them as he left.

The Posse continued to the back where they ran into Jeff Meyers and William Regal. “What are you two doing here?” N asked. “This is my show. I think you need to leave.” Regal started “ My good man, we are here to take what we want. Apparently, your staff is NOT happy with you and frankly want to leave.” “Oh, is that right?” N interjected. “We’ll see about that.” He stormed off with his buds in tow.

At the end of the show, Negronomicon called all the wrestlers down to the ring for a little speech. “I understand that some of you are not happy with the way I run this show. In fact, I’ve heard grumblings that a lot of you want to quit and go to work for the CSWA. Well, that’s just not going to happen. It has nothing to do with not giving the CSWA any more wrestlers. This is about ME. MY federation. Unless you are fired by me, you will not be able to quit. You will be stuck here doing what I tell you to do or I will make your lives a living HELL. You can take that to the bank. Now, get the HELL out of here.”

I see dark days ahead in the NWWA. Be cautious.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_8.10

Hello. Wow, this has been a busy month for wrestling news. We just got this in. It comes from the head-honcho of the NWWA - the owner (and jackass) Negronomicon.

From the Desk of NWWA Chief of Operations Negronomicon

To the wrestlers, employees and fans of the NWWA, the worlds finest wrestling organization.It has come to my attention that there are a number of people both inside and outside the NWWA that are unhappy with certain aspects of how I choose to run my (and I stress this) MY business. I am far too busy trying to keep this company afloat to have to deal with this nonsense, but I will acquiesce and deal witth this as such:

1. The new championship belts were redesigned at GREAT expense. The paper that is used in the process are made from the finest Brazilian mahogany and are hand crafted in Germany. Anyone saying anything negative about them will be fired.

2. Yes, that wrestler What's-his-name was fired for having a stupid hair cut. I will not tolerate stupid haircuts in my organization. If you can't get something as simple as good grooming habits together, how can you expect to be as good as wrestler as myself? Anyone with bad grooming habits will be fired.

3. Matches that are not wrestled to the caliber I expect from those under my employee will be immediately re-wrestled. If they are still not up to snuff, then both wrestlers will be fired.

4. I understand times are tough, but there is no "I" in team! So, effective immediately, I will be asking certain under-performing wrestlers to start helping in selling tickets to our shows. You will be assigned a quota that needs to be hit in order to stay with the team. Get the fans to the show. Do whatever is necessary to accomplish this. We need to get the butts in the seats! Anyone who cannot perform will be fired.

5. Lastly, the fans. I am hard on the wrestlers because they need to be pushed to perform on a high level every night. But your house needs to be put in order too. Your incessant booing and catcalling to me and my organization has not gone without notice and will not be tolerated. So, from here on out, any fan that I deem acting foolish will be removed from the arena and banned from any and all future shows.

That is all...now if you will excuse me, I have actual work to do.-N

Well, I can only assume the NWWA lockerroom will be in an uproar over this. As soon as we get feedback from the wrestlers, we will get their comments posted here.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_8.9

Hello fans. We only have one real newsworthy piece of information and it is revolving around the World Tag Team titles and the NWWA Tag team belts. The Hardy boys had a match to determine the true number one contender for the NWWA tag titles when they took on the team of Tommy Dreamer and the Bruiser. Tommy Dreamer ended up costing them their spot when he attacked Matt with a singapore cane causing the disqualification. This allowed the Hardys to move to the number one spot and challenge the World’s Greatest Tag Team of Haas and Benjamin for the NWWA tag belts.

The Hardys controlled the majority of the match with constant double teams on the champs. Benjamin got a bit of luck and trapped Jeff in a NCAA leglock. Jeff appeared to be in a lot of pain and after being stuck in the hold for a minute, Matt was finally able to get in and make the save. The ref ended up sending Matt to the outside again which allowed the champs to do a double team of their own and ended up getting the pin but Matt managed a save. Another double team by the champs on Matt and as Charlie went for the pin, Shelton delivered a sliding dropkick taking out the leg of Jeff Hardy. Jeff dropped to the outside of the ring and was not able to make it back in to save Matt. Shelton and Charlie retained the NWWA Tag team titles.

In the back, they were called into the office of the Negronomicon. N went on to tell them how disappointed he was in them (although secretly he did not want them to win). He told them that the Steiners were here and were putting their belts on the line against them. Matt and Jeff tried to complain but Negronomicon said he wouldn’t hear of it. “You boys have an opportunity to bring the World Tag team titles here to the NWWA and I expect nothing less.” Jeff went on to say that he was hurt and didn’t think they would be at their best “. “Well”, Negronomicon added, “if you don’t win, then there will be severe repricussions. If you don’t come back with the belts, Jeff, you can considered yourself out of a job. That’s right. You don’t win the belts, your career is finished.” Matt started to complain but N said that if he wants the same treatment, he’d be happy to bestow it on him too. The Hardys went to the ring for their match against the Steiners.

The Steiners came down and met the Hardys in the ring. Negronomicon came out. “For those who don’t know, there are two retirements at stake here. If the Hardys don’t bring the tag belts home, then Jeff is out of a job. If the Steiners lose, then Scott is hereby drafted to the NWWA and Rick will be out of a job. Let the match begin.

The Steiners took control early on with constant doubleteaming. They dominated Jeff and constantly on his leg. When Matt made it into the ring, the double-teaming continued. Rick caught Matt with a huge clothesline from the top rope while Scott hit a Frankensteiner on Jeff. Matt was dumped over the top rope and the Steiners hit the Doomsday Device on Jeff. Scott did some pushups in the ring whiile Rick made the cover and got the 1-2-3. The Steiners retained the belts. Negronomicon was furious. He was still steaming when Rick and Scott walked by with their titles intact. Negronomicon addressed the Hardys still in the ring. “You boys made your bed and now you have to lay in it. Jeff, you are FIRED. Clear out your stuff and I want you out of here in 30 minutes.” Jeff took a few minutes in the ring to address the fans and say goodbye. “This isn’t goodbye forever. You will see me in the ring again. Until then, take care.”
The fans gave Jeff an standing ovation as he and Matt left the ring together.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 4 (2009)_8.8 – Fallout from the PPV

Hello fans. Well, this last PPV had to be one of our better ones. We saw the Negronomicon defeat the Undertaker for the NWWA World title and then the next night, defeat Booker T to be come the new Undisputed Heavyweight Champion. We also saw Christian outted from the Posse and Undertaker released but immediately signed to a contract in the CSWA. He was told he will get the first title shot at now World Champion Booker T. These two guys have had an on-again/off-again feud over the last 6 years. With the Undertaker in the CSWA now, I’m assuming they will pick up where they left off in the old HWF (now the NWWA). Booker T had some comments for the Undertaker:

“Yo Sucka. Its one thing to follow me around from group to group but this stalking thing is gettin ridiculous. Everywhere I go, you follow. Are you some lost puppy dog or what brah? You sign with the CSWA and in management’s infinite wisdom, they immediately give you a title shot against me. You haven’t earned anything in the eyes of the CSWA fans. You should have to earn a shot before you just take it. Now, I know that the only way you were going to get a shot at my World Title is to coerce management into thinking you’re all that. I know better and I will prove it in the ring. SUCKKKKKAAAAAAAA!”

The feud between MW3 and Shawn Michaels has come to an end. In a sign of respect, Shawn shook the had of MW3. MW3 did not appear to be too upset as he did get to keep his mask at the insistance of Shawn Michaels.

Negronomicon called the the team of DX into his office. Shawn came in with Hunter. Negronomicon started off by telling HHH that he should have won the match and wasn’t aggressive enough. HHH replied stating that he did what he had to and if that’s not good enough for the illustrious GM, then he has two words for you. Negronomion said that he will not be talked to that way. He then addressed Shawn: “Shawn, you won your match against that schlub MW3. I’m sorry but I really expected more from the Showstopper. I really don’t understand why the two of you are such wusses. " HHH addressed the GM and said “You can shove it, jackass. We can outwrestle you anytime, anywhere. Hell, both Shawn and I can beat you with one arm tied behind our backs.” “Is that so?” replied the GM. “I’d love to see that. In fact, here’s what I’m gonna do. You and Shawn will both get your title matches today. It will be a handicap match. You and Shawn against me. You will both have one arm tied behind each of your backs. So even though we all wrestled pretty hard at the PPV, except you HHH you stupid slacker, you can both get down to the ring now.” Shawn looked concerned but HHH assured him they would prevail.

Down in the ring, DX was announced and the audience was told that Negronomicon would defend his world title against them. DX was making their way to the ring strutting their stuff. In the back, Negronomicon was leaving his office but he was talking to someone still in there. “I will call you down when it is time. Until then, wait for my signal.” . A special guest referee was annouonced and it was none other than Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett came down to the ring. Negronomicon went to the ring as his name was called. As soon as he got there, the ref had already tied one arm behind HHH and one behind Shawn. Just before the bell was ready to get rung, Negronomion brought in a chair and nailed both Shawn and HHH with it. He proceeded to beat the holy hell out them both. He told Jarrett to ring the bell. Jarrett did. Negronomicon went for the cover first on Michaels and got the 1-2-3. He told Jarrett not to ring the bell yet. This match is now a no-DQ. Shawn was tossed out of the ring and N proceeded to beat down on HHH. Hunter never got any offense in. N connected with the Black Doom and then as Jarrett counted, he pulled Hunter up at 2. A flurry of rights and lefts were turning HHH’s face into sausage. He connected with another Black Doom and then pulled him up at 2. Jarrett started to reprimand N but Jarrett was just pushed back. Negronomicon connected with a snap suplex and then went to the top rope. He connected on Hunter with a big splash. He made the cover again and this time allowed Jarrett to get make the 1-2-3. Negromicon called out the Posse to remove the trash from ringside. The Posse came down and removed DX from the ringside area. Negronomicon called for a mic: “Jarrett, you appear to be a good egg so I tell you what. For the officiating you have done here today, I am moving you in front of Christian for your World title shot. JJ was flabbergasted. “Thank you sir. When, may I ask, will I get my opportunity?” “First,” Negronomicon said I dissolve you from the tag team division. You will no longer be partnered with Sting. Your opportunity comes Now, but there will not be a match. Based on the conversation we had in the back, I know that unlike that ungrateful jackass Christian, you will watch my back. You will continue to keep an eye on things for me. For this, I am now awarding you the World Heavyweight Championship!” Jarrett took the belt and raised it over his head. “Jeff, you are now officially the newest member of the Posse.” Both men shook hands as Negronomicon raised the arm of the new champ. From the audience, Christian ran in with a chair but Jeff and the Negronomicon were able to escape without getting hurt. They both left the ring together laughing at and mocking Christian.

In the back, Negronomicon said that he still wanted Sting in tag competition only so he created the new tag team of Sting and Fit Finley.
