GM Max McGillicutty comes out to start off the show to a loud pop from the crowd.  Max tells us that he has breaking news that he’s actually beating Phoenix’s GM Master Bull to and that is that the Reigning Royalty PPV that will be on February 11th will actually be taking place in Phoenix, AZ.   To stack on top of that, a couple of weeks later, they will be hosting a supershow and that will be coming to you from Tacoma, WA.   Before we get to those shows, we have our lead up shows and it’s very possible that what transpires at these shows could affect those…we’ll just have to wait and see.  Tonight we have a great line up headlined by Hardcore champion Leon Teremoto taking on one member of the Huber Clan…cousin Ferb.  For now, the show needs to get underway.  Max leaves as pyro goes off and our first match is ready to begin.

Over the loudspeakers we hear “I’ve got some bad news for ya” and out comes ‘Bad News’ Marvin Barnes.  It’s pretty apparent that the fans don’t like him and they voice their displeasure. Barnes is challenging this man for his spot in the World title line up and out comes Brick.  The fans pop for him just because.  He gets into the ring and is immediately attacked by Barnes.  The two surprisingly stayed pretty even for about 10 minutes until Barnes pulled Brick out of the ring and smashed him into the ringside steps.  After that, Brick struggled to keep up with Barnes.  A couple of minutes later, Barnes connected with the Bad News but somehow Brick kicked out and that just infuriated Barnes.  He then beat Brick down and once he was satisfied he’d tenderized Brick enough, he hit the Bad News again and this time he got the 1-2-3.  Barnes gets the win and moves up in the ranFMkings while Brick moves down.  (16 min)

Backstage, Davis “the Hoff” Hoffmeister addressed his turncoat of an ex-manager.  “Figgy, I will deal with you and that phony Mustang Sammy all in good time but for now, I get to take on the resident joke of a vampire Dr. Red Fang.  Fang, listen up.  You may think that with that goofball of a manager you have in your corner you may have the upper hand but I am a former Hardcore Champ, former Tag Team Champ as well as World Champ.  I’ll vampire lunge your @$$ smack dab in the heart of your ramshackle coffin.   Once I finish with you, Sammy and Figgy…YOU’RE NEXT!”

Our next match is another challenge for a spot in the top 10 lineup.  The giant Superquake Ferguson comes out and for this match, he is challenging 1/3rd of the 6 Man champs Buzz Steel for his spot.  Ferguson was left off the top 10 placements so he’s going right after Buzz’s spot in the TV title line up.  Buzz Steel comes out next to a huge pop from the crowd.  He makes a beeline for the ring and goes face to…um…chest with the Giant.  Buzz looks up to see Superquake towering over him.  The bell rings and this one gets going.  Buzz went toe to toe with the giant and surprised everyone including Ferguson himself.  He began getting frustrated and then hurled Buzz out of the ring.  He followed him out nailing Buzz with a Superquake of a slam on the floor.  Ferguson rolled back in just before the count of 10 and Buzz got counted out.  With the count out win, Ferguson takes Buzz’s spot in the TV title line up.  I’m sure Buzz will not be done with him. (9 ½ min win for Superquake)

Scooter J is backstage and he complains that he’s not on the card today but that lummox Axe is.  He says he can’t understand out an out of work lumberjack can make in professional wrestling but thinks that Axe’s time here will be numbered if he has anything to say about it.

It’s time for the next match and this one has Superstar Chic Monroe (who’s in the top 10 for the US title) challenges the Axe for his spot in the World title line up.  If Monroe wins the match, the two will trade spots but if Axe can pull out a win, he’ll hold his coveted spot.  Monroe comes out first as the fans boo him.  Next, the Axe comes out and gets a pretty big pop from the crowd.  He high-fives with the fans but when he gets into the ring, he becomes all business.  For the first 3 minutes, both men were pretty even.  Monroe then hits the Axe with a bicycle kick and Axe retaliated with ‘the Axe’ that nearly took Monroe’s head off.  Axe made the cover and got the easy 3 count.  Axe gets the win in 4 minutes and showed why he’s in line for a shot at the World title.  This of course didn’t sit well with Scooter J who ran down and tried to attack Axe but Axe dispatched his former tag partner with easy.   Axe tried to get SJ to come back into the ring and even held the ropes open but Scooter J shook his head and then backed up the ramp and went to the back.  Axe eventually left to a pop from the crowd.

Another person dissatisfied that she wasn’t on the card today is Candice Carpenter.  Candice couldn’t believe she was continuously being looked over (she’s actually had her fair share of matches).  She then proceeds to challenge the Duchess to a match.  “You think you’re so special…you’re not.  I am.  And since I’m confident that I will beat you so bad, I need the freedom to do what I need to so I want this to be a no disqualification match between us.  If you have the guts, you’ll accept and take what’s coming to you.  If not, you’ll show everyone the coward I know you to be.”  I guess we’ll get a response from the Duchess in a week.

Our next match shifts genders and now we have a ladies challenge match.  First, Madame Jade comes out to a pop from the crowd.  She makes her way to the ring.   She calls out Lady Hermann, the Duchess’ right hand woman challenging her for her spot in the Ladies top 10 lineup.  Lady Hermann comes out and powerwalks to the ring to booing from the crowd.  She gets into the ring and begins sizing up Jade before opening a can of whoop ass.  The can though must have lost its pop as after the first minute of the match, Jade matched her move for move and ended drawing this one out to its 20 minute conclusion with the bell ringing bringing this one to a draw finish.  By the time the bell rang, Lady Hermann was getting beat pretty bad by Jade and once her salvation came at the sound of the bell, she wasted no time in taking off and getting the hell out of there.  Madame Jade stood tall to a pop from the fans and left shortly thereafter.  Both women retain their respective spots in the lineup.  (20 min draw)

Dr. Red Fang and his manager Ant Graham are backstage.  Graham begins to go off on how great his Ghouls (Fang, Mason the Mangler and Wolfman Keg) are and once they get their shot at the 6 Man Tag Team Championships, they will rule the roost.  Fang interrupts with some snarling and growling.  Graham takes a step back so that Fang can do his thing but this time, it’s with a twist.  “Vampire Lunges…for the Hoff!” rolls off his tongue with disdain.  The two then walk off camera.

Also backstage is the Huber Clan.  Ferb, Butch and Junior Huber say that they collectively, are going to destroy Hardcore Champion Leon Teremoto.  Ferb says he gets first shot tonight but if Leon screws him over, Butch and Junior will get their shots at him too.  They are then interrupted by the Snake Pit (Leiton, Niven and Tobias Snake) who say it will actually be one of them who will take the title from Leon.  The 6 then get into a shoving match and it had to be broken up by a gaggle of staffers.

Next, our match with no real implications begins with the loudspeakers blaring “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE” and out comes Dr. Red Fang and his manager Ant Graham.  The two walk down to the ring amidst booing from the fans but Graham does his best to flip each and every one of them off as the get into the ring.  Fang snarls and growls and then get even angrier when the music changes and out comes Davis “the Hoff” Hoffmeister.  Hoff gets a pop that had to be the loudest of the night.  He purposely took his time getting to the ring to further irritate Fang.  He got into the ring and wasted no time kicking this one off.  Davis easily owned the first 7 minutes of the match limited Fang to 3 offensive moves and even one of those was help from Ant Graham.  Graham got in a few extra shots and that helped Fang out some.  Eventually Fang began to close the gap.  After taking the match to the outside and hitting Fang with a flying dropkick that sent him into the crowd, Hoff thought things were going his way.  Graham immediately distracted the ref to give Fang a chance to recover.  Sneaking up though was Mustang Sammy who was hiding in the crowd and he attacked Davis slamming his back against the steel post.  Davis would fight back and hurl Sammy back to where he came from.  He entered the ring just as the ref turned around.  Fang was almost back in the ring and as the ref began counting, Ant used his cane and smashed Davis over the head with it.  Davis dropped.  Fang crawled back in and made the cover (hooking the tights for good measure) and got the 1-2-3.  Davis had another match stolen!  Fang and Graham didn’t bother to stick around and left right away.  Figgy Newton (err, I mean Figaroa) helped Mustang Sammy out and he got back in the ring.  He then locked Davis in a version of the Handlebar (camel clutch) and wouldn’t relent.  Finally, those staffers who broke up the Huber/Snake Pit confrontation backstage made their way out and got Sammy off of Davis.  Before leaving, Figgy bent down and slapped Davis across the face leaving with a big ol’ smirk on his face.  Davis began to stir and his eyes glared daggers at his soon-to-be opponent.   Davis was able to leave mostly on his own accord.  The fans popped for him.  (15 min)

Backstage, Hardcore Champion Leon Teremoto is being interviewed.  He says that in a way, he’s honored that so many people are clamoring for what he has however, he says he has no plans on losing this title at any time so he welcomes each and every challenge and promises to send each and every one of the home empty handed.

It’s time for our Main Event.  First, the challenger Ferb Huber comes out and is booed.  Next, the Hardcore champion Leon Teremoto comes out and the fans pop for him.  He makes his way to the ring and the referee announces this will be a Street Fight Rules for the title.  Ferb actually overwhelmed the champ due to his brothers Butch and Junior coming out to join in the fracas.  Things even got more complicated with the Snake Pit came out and began fighting with the Hubers and even took their shots at the champ.  This turned into a major cluster**** and after Ferb wrapped a microphone cord around Leon’s neck chocking him out, the ref raised the arm (and it fell) once, twice, three times.  (11 min) The ref calls the match and “HOLD IT RIGHT THERE” blares and out walks GM Max McGillicutty.  “Before you award anything, first, I want to say that Leon was really at a disadvantage as this was not one on one but more like 6 on one.  Now, granted, the Hardcore Champ has to be tough but come on, this is a little ridiculous.  I want to amend the match now and actually makes this a best of 3 falls match and now Ferb has to score another fall within the next 19 minutes in order to become the champion.  If he does not and this goes beyond, Leon will remain champion.  The ref restarts the match and says this one is now “ECW rules”.  Leon must have some great recovery qualities as he looked almost as fresh as when he walked out here originally.  Although Ferb was giving it his all, Leon was that much better and at 6 minutes in, he used a golf club and nailed Ferb in the gonads with it and then locked Ferb in Gorilla Hug and Ferb actually tapped out!  Leon scores the second fall via submission.  Now the two have one win over each other and this third fall decides it all.  The ref announces that we are now using Ladder match rules.  For the third fall, Leon was tearing it up smashing Ferb with the ladder every chance he had.  5 minutes in, Ferb climbed to the top of the ladder and hit a flying elbow drop from the top rung. “HOLY SH*T” chants rang throughout.  Ferb made the cover getting a 3 count and then began to climb the ladder but at the last possible second, Leon stopped him.  Leon then began beating the snot out of Ferb but he couldn’t get a pin.  Finally, 8 minutes rolled by and Ferb used a different ladder to trap Leon in the corner.  He then mockingly made his way up the ladder drawing it out.  Finally, he grabbed the title hanging above the ring and is declared the NEW HARDCORE CHAMPION!  The fans were aghast.  They could not believe it.  Ferb takes the title and is joined by his clan and they celebrate on the stage as the show comes to an end.

That’s all for this episode.  Here is a preview of our upcoming Phoenix show.
