Before the matches could start, a promo from King Wilber was aired.

“A man who is not willing to die for something is not fit to live. Where I come from, being a traitor is a sin of the highest order, man. You did not expose me like you think, Sonic; you only exposed yourself (hahahhaha). For only a coward would use his free wings to fly right back into the cage where he came from. These people, these animals, oh how they rewarded you. They cheered for you, Sonic, as you stamped me out, as you battered me, man. Traitor. They're sheep. They only look up to you because they chose to kneel, traitor. What I want you to do now is I want you to go home and I want you to hug your mother. I want you to tell her you love her. I want you to tell her you're sorry. Because everything that happens to you from now on is your fault.”

Brutal words from the King of HCW.  I’m sure Sonic will have a response for his opponent later this evening.  For now, we’re going to head to the ring for our first match of the night.

Jazz Emmett makes her way out to a mixed reaction from the crowd.  Once she got into the ring, her opponent Starr Vixen made her way out and the crowd popped.  She smiled a big smile and then high fived with the fans as she make her way to the ring.  She got in and the crowd popped again.  As soon as the bell rang, Starr owned the match.  For a solid 6 minutes, Jazz wasn’t able to get much in from an offensive perspective.  She thought things were going her way after hitting the Bank Statement but then Starr connected with a baseball slide dropkick to the floor and Jazz figured she’d had enough and then just decided to walk out.  She ended up getting counted out and the match was awarded to Starr.  Starr was a little disappointed but will take the win.  (6 ½ min)

Scooter J is backstage and he gloats about taking out the Axe.  He says that the Axe is just an over the hill lumberjack who is way past his prime.  SJ says that the two of them will meet in the ring but it will be on his terms and if Axe can’t live with that, he has two words for him…”Too Bad”.

Our next match is to determine who will be in line for the next TV title spot between the #2 and #3 seeds “The Elitist” Reid Rothchild and the Unknown Assassin respectively.  First, the honorable (well, not so honorable in our opinion) J C Dykes comes out to introduce his man the Unknown Assassin.  The crowd boos as security comes out to line the ramp and then UA and Dykes head down to the ring.  Next, the Ambassador comes out with Reid and the crowd pops for him.  Reid and his manager head down to the ring.  Dykes yells some obscenities at the Ambassador but they are ignored.  The time limit is set to 20 minutes as just as the bell rang, UA attacks Reid but Reid was successful in warding off his attack.  It wasn’t surprising to see Reid take the match to UA but after a cowardly attack on the Ambassador by Dykes, it drew Reid out of the ring to check on his manager.  With the ref distracted, Dykes threw something in to the Unknown Assassin.  As soon as Reid returned to the ring, UA pounces on him with English Forearm Strikes (with a loaded forearm to be sure) and he hooked the leg of a dazed Reid and he stole a 3 count.  The Unknown Assassin gets the (questionable) win and now is next in line for a shot at the TV title.  Dykes gets on the mic calling all the fans pathetic and says they are looking at the next TV champion.  (9 min)  Reid and the Ambassador were helped to the back.

Ladies Champion Taylor Bella is backstage with her manager Figaroa Newton and Taylor says that she’s the longest reigning champ to date in HCW and her title isn’t going anywhere.  She says she would take on any worthy challengers but none seemed to appear.  Just then, Ravishing Raquel walked in and the former champion said she’ll drop a challenge right here and now.  Taylor was going to complain but Figaroa chimed in saying it would be a non-title match however if she could beat the champ (Figgy turned to Taylor and winked) she could get a title match but that was unlikely.  Raquel smirked and said “Anything can happen” and she walked off.  Figaroa, startled, yelled back “Wait, what does THAT mean?”

Our next match is ready to go and Jesse California comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd.  Scooter J comes out next and the fans boo.  Jesse took advantage of that and got the crowd to pop in his favor over the villainous Scooter J.  The two were pretty even but it was plain to see that SJ was going to cheat at every turn.  When he realized he was not getting the upper hand, he made sure the ref got “accidentally bumped” and ran to grab a chair.  The ref recovered pretty quick and SJ threw the chair to Jesse who caught it just as the ref looked up.  He saw Jesse with a chair and immediately disqualified Jesse much to his and the fans’ dismay.  Scooter J gets the win via DQ and he goes to the back laughing all the way. (5 ½ min)

Backstage, Dykes and UA are getting ready to leave and Dykes notices he forgot his keys.  He goes to run to grab them.  All of a sudden, Crow Phat appears out of nowhere and after pointing a finger and a stern look on his face, he begins beating up UA with a baseball bat that just so happened to be laying around.  The fight didn’t last long.  Dykes arrived at the end of the attack but before he could call for help, Crow Phat dropped him with the Phat’s Enough.  Crow Phat then disappeared just as quickly as he came in.  People did walk by seeing both UA and Dykes laid out but just kept on their own ways.

We head back to the ring for more action.  The royal music kicks in and out comes King Wilber Townsend.  The fans boo as his royalness makes his way down to the ring.  It’s a very slow procession and the fans that did pop for him went sour just out of boredom. Next, Sonic Blade makes his way out and the fans are re-energized and pop huge for him.  Sonic high fives the fans and makes his way to the ring.  Master Bull comes out and says that he’s modifying this match.  Not only will it now have a 30 min time limit, in addition to it being a no DQ/no countout rules match, it will also be considered under “strategy” rules.  Sonic and Wilber wasted no time in taking the fight to each other.  After many defensive stand offs, Wilber would break the rules and hit a low blow or something that would normally get him disqualified but the rules protected the King.  About 24 minutes in, Sonic appeared to injure Wilber but the King fought through it proving how good he really is.  In the last remaining moments of the match, both men gave up on going for a pin or submission and just wanted to inflict damage on the other.  When the bell rang at the 30 minute mark, both men still looked like they wanted to keep going but we could tell both were exhausted.  With nothing settled here, we would not be surprised to see them do battle again.  (30 min time limit draw)

Backstage, 5th Column member Karl Braun says he has TV Champion Texas Wildfire’s number and he’s cashing in and TW will be just another memory as he will bring prestige to the 5th Column.

In the next match, the Ladies Champion takes the title off to fight in a non-title match up.  First, Ravishing Raquel comes out and the fans pop huge for her.  Just before she makes her way to the ring, her husband’s manager The Ambassador comes out and offers his managerial services as she is also a member of Elitism just as her husband and brother in law are.  Raquel politely declines and the Ambassador wishes her well and they both go in opposite directions.  Raquel makes it to the ring and pumps her arms into the air and the fans pop each time.  Next, Figaroa Newton comes out and introduces the Ladies Champion (but not for this match) Taylor Bella.  The two head down to the ring and once in the ring, Taylor flaunts her title in Raquel’s face.  She hands her title to her manager and does some stretches as the bell rings kicking this one off.  Figgy got involved early giving Taylor a huge advantage.  Raquel wouldn’t give up and kept the fight up.   We join the match at the 5 minute mark.

TV Champion Texas Wildfire says tonight he gets to prove to another member of the roster why he’s the TV champion.  He knows that there are a bunch of great competitors all chomping at his heels but he’s not looking past Braun tonight but he’s confident that he will be meeting more of the roster soon enough.

It’s time for our Main event for the TV title.  The entirety of the 5th Column (Baron von Blood & Oswald Zimmerman) accompanied their teammate Karl Braun to the ring and fans turned their noses and voices against them.  The Column flipped off the fans.  Master Bull came out and said that he didn’t want the Column to remain at ringside during the match.  Baron von Blood produced a document that showed they were authorized to remain at ringside during Karl’s match.  Bull relented but then said that he was going to allow some people to be in Texas Wildfire’s corner and he brings out the 6 Man Tag Team Champions the Steel Curtain and Biceps Bannerman as well as the Tag Team Champions Elitism and our resident “Crow”  Phat Sol who came out wielding a baseball bat.  The Column tried to complain but Bull gave them the option to leave and they did.  Once they got to the back, Bull had Elitism and the 6 Man Champs head to the back.  Phat went back up to his perch above the ring.  This one went a good clip with Braun going toe to toe with the champ but after 9 minutes, the champ took over and once again showed why he’s the champion.  After utterly destroying Braun, TW slaps on a standing armbar but instead of going for a submission, he turned it into a pin attempt and got the 1-2-3.  Texas Wildfire is victorious in his title defense and holds his title high climbing each of the turnbuckles to pops from the crowd and with that, the show has come to an end.

Next show in Tacoma brings another stacked card.  Here is the preview.
