Hello
everyone and welcome back to our newsletter.
Not a lot of drama in today’s episode except from the manager of the
Hardcore champion Dr. Red Fang - Ant
Graham. That man is walking drama but
we’ll address that later on.
After
the pyro settled, the show gets ready to kick off. 5th Column members Baron von Blood
and Oswald Zimmerman come out first.
They are booed pretty heavily.
Next, Australia’s own Outback Oscar and the Crocodile Hunter come out to
a huge pop. 15 minutes into the match
and after constant double teaming by Croc and Oscar, it seemed like the 5th
Column had given up and even tried to leave but that was thwarted. After the 19th minute, both Baron
and Oswald got injured. Oswald had been
dropkicked from the ring and he landed/crashed hard into the ringside
barrier. Baron just got pummeled and the
ref threated to just end the match after Croc hit a vertical drop DDT but Croc
made the cover and they got the win.
Croc and Outback Oscar get the win much to the delight of the fans. They
stayed a few minutes after Baron and Oswald were helped from the ring. (20 min)
Backstage,
the Fiend says it’s time for him to re-enter the title picture and he is
challenging Biceps Bannerman for his shot at the TV title.
Next
up, the Axe makes his way out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. After he did his posing in the ring, music
changed and TNT w/ Master Bull came out.
The fans were still not happy with his turn and let him know it. TNT had control early on but the Axe battled
back nearly taking TNT’s head off with ‘the Axe’. Master Bull noticed that TNT needed help so
he provided it and that got him back on track.
Unfortunately, Axe began an offensive run and Bull thought TNT would
need more help so he called down the rest of Prestige Inc. Bishop Ripley and
Chic Monroe and they rushed the ring and attacked the Axe resulting in a
DQ. The attack didn’t last long as
ScooterJ and Wendell Hammerschmidt ran down each armed with a chair and cleared
the ring. Bull hollered at them for
their interference but he didn’t want to be on the receiving end of a chair
shot so he and his team left. (15 ½ min
DQ)
Ant
Graham stormed into GM Max McGillicutty’s office and complained that the Fiend
kept interfering in Fang’s matches and wants him fired. Max reminded Ant that Fang has interfered in
many other people’s matches so what was the difference? Graham insisted that the Fiend won’t be
fired, he should be barred from any of Fang’s matches and Max laughed and
showed Graham the door before closing it on him. Graham muttered that this wasn’t over.
We
head back to the ring for our next match.
Madame Jade comes out first to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Next, Scarlett Phoenix comes out and she is a
little better received. Jade doesn’t
especially like that. Scarlett started
off strong but then Jade began to fight back and got a couple of pin attempts
in but nothing came of them. Just when
it looked like Jade was getting the upper hand, Taylor Bella came out and
distracted Jade. That gave Scarlett the
opening to hit the Black Widow and score a 3 count. Jade took right off chasing Taylor from the
ring. (14 min)
Max
says that in a week, HCW will have its supershow and in addition to Taylor
Bella cashing in her shot for the Ladies title but we’ll also see Magnum Kone
taking on his former tag team partner Pete the PUN-isher in the confines of a
steel cage. He will also be granting
them a 60 minute time limit just in case they need it.
Music
from the Misfits plays and out comes the Fiend.
He gets a good pop from the crowd.
Next, defending his TV title shot comes Biceps Bannerman and the fans
boo him. The once ‘gentle giant’ is now
a raging bull. The Fiend started off
strong but then Biceps just started tearing him apart. The Fiend managed to hang in there for a
whopping 20 minute beat down. Just when
he thought it was over, Dr. Red Fang ran down and stole the timekeeper’s bell
so that he couldn’t call the match. The
ref had no idea how much time was left so he let the match continue. Biceps leveled the Fiend with a shoulder
tackle that sent the Fiend out of the ring.
Fang then ran over and nailed the Fiend with a Vampire Lunge. He threw the Fiend back in and returned the
timekeepers’ bell. Biceps nearly took
the Fiend’s head off with a clothesline.
Biceps makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3. Biceps retains his shot at the TV title next
show. Dr. Red Fang laughed all the way
to the back. (23 min)
The
Desperados (Leon Teremoto and El Chango) are interviewed and they say that if
the Steel Curtain really thinks they’re not much a threat, they are open to a
title shot anytime and they’ll prove they are the better team.
We
head back to the ring for more action.
Sonic Blade makes his way out to a decent pop from the crowd. Next, his opponent Perfect Pecs Stoddard comes
out and he is booed. Max comes out and
says that he is putting Sonic’s future World title shot on the line here and he
was caught off-guard. Sonic fought hard
but the man with the Pecs of Stone overpowered him. After the ref got caught in between the two
and went down, King Wilber Townsend ran down and attacked Sonic Blade. He hit him with the GTS three times. By then, the ref was stirring. Pecs picked up Sonic and hit a front
powerslam. He made the cover and got the
1-2-3. Perfect Pecs Stoddard gets the
win and takes Sonic’s spot for the World title.
Max came back out and said King Wilber may have influence the end of
that match so Max makes one final showdown between Wilber and Sonic in a week
and this time, Wilber’s World title shot will be on the line. Sonic seemed ok with that. (15 min)
We
have some news to report on one of the members of our roster the Savior. After Savior left a few shows back, he was
driving (distracted) his jeep on a snow packed road (must have been in the
mountains), apparently something crossed his path (we find out later it was a
rabbit…or was it?) and he veered off the road and got into an accident totaling
his jeep. He went into the hospital
where he was told he’d never wrestle again.
The Savior told them they were mistaken and he left the hospital days
later, boarded a plane and ended up in Katmandu. While wandering the streets, he came across
an ancient temple. He entered and was
told that here he would find what he needed to settle his mind. During his spiritual retreat, he discovered
that his spirit animal was in fact a rabbit and he said he’d remain here until
he was ready to return. When questioned
“What is your name, stranger?” He said
“Call me…Savior Strange”. Will he return
to the world of professional wrestling or live his life here…only time will
tell.
It’s
time for our Main Event. First, one
member of the Snake Pit Niven Snake, makes his way out to the ring first. Next, Ant Graham comes out and introduces the
Hardcore Champion Dr. Red Fang who exclaims “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE!” and
makes his way down to the ring. The ref
announces that the rules for this match will be ‘Lights out’ rules. Niven actually put up a hell of a fight and
that scared the crap out of Ant Graham.
He couldn’t contribute much as Niven’s brother Leiton came out and kept
Graham at a distance. Ant finally took a
chance and threw a chair in to the ring to Fang. Fang kicked Niven in the gut and then hit a
Transylvania piledriver on the chair. He
made the cover and got the 1-2-3. Dr.
Red Fang wins the match but he had no time to celebrate as the Fiend ran down
and the two of them brawled to the back bringing this show to an end.
Stay
tuned for more action.
