Hello fans and
welcome back to our newsletter. As was
mentioned in the last issue, today will be a tournament to crown a new Hardcore
Champion. Everyone
not holding a title (trophy excluded) is eligible to participate. We started off with 60 people (‘The Elitist’
Reid Rothchild, although a ‘champion’ was allowed to participate because of his
manager Master Bull’s finagling but it didn’t help much). The final two came down to the Stache
(eliminated Biceps Bannerman) and Jerry Saunders (eliminated El Dragon
Insano).
GM Max
McGillicutty comes out and sets the guidelines for the final match. He says this will be an ECW rules match. Unfortunately, we never got that far.
===== In the 1st
minute of the match: =====
The Stache rolled OC.
Jerry Saunders rolled

The Stache executes a

The Stache straps in

Jerry Saunders
submits!!!
The Stache wins with a THE HANDLEBAR (CAMEL CLUTCH) over Jerry
Saunders!!!
And
just like that, we have ourselves a NEW HARDCORE CHAMPION. Congratulations to the new champ.
The
championship committee just noticed a huge error: Tag Team Champions Pete the PUN-isher &
Magnum Kone have not defended their titles in the February calendar month. Max immediately puts the match together with
Pete & Magnum defending their belts against the Mexicali Flyers. The Flyers (El Dragon Insano & Tornado en
Fuego) came out first and they looked ready to take on the world. The Ambassador comes out to introduce the
champs and they all looked peeved. They
make their way to the ring and try to complain that they are defending their
belts at the supershow but their whining fell to deaf ears. Max did make one concession and that is to
make the time limit 20 minutes. Right
off the bat, the champs attacked Tornado en Fuego injuring him and taking him
effectively out of the match. El Dragon
tried to hold his own but the champs overwhelmed them. After Magnum got tired of Pete’s showboating,
he tagged himself in only to have El Dragon hit him with a neckbreaker. El Dragon went to the top turnbuckle but
before he could launch, the Ambassador tripped him he crashed hard to the mat. Magnum crawled over and draped an arm over El
Dragon and got the 3 count. The champs
retained their belts. This did not sit
well with Max who came out and said he saw the Ambassador interfere. As much as the manager tried to deny it, Max
said that at the Supershow, the Mexicali Flyers get a rematch and if the
Ambassador interferes again, his team will be STRIPPED of the tag team titles.
The show ends with Pete, Magnum and the Ambassador in the ring yelling back at
Max
Be
sure to join us as the next show will be our 550th issue and will be
