HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2018 #675 – Phoenix Heat Supershow

Hello fans and welcome back to our show.  Today marks our 675th episode of the Wrestling Newsletter and just so happens to coincide with the Phoenix Heat Supershow.  Pyro goes off as the fans blow the roof off with all the noise they could muster.  Master Bull then comes out and thanks everyone for attending live as well as watching on TV.  He congratulates HCW on reaching such a milestone and lets the fans know that the card tonight is packed solid.  He is then interrupted by ‘The Ragin Cajun’ King Rad Gumbo who calls the fans sheep for just following whatever crap Master Bull spits out.  The fans of course boo him.  “Shut up and sit down.  Now, as I was trying to say before I was rudely interrupted was that I want to make sure that the coward Buzz Steel does not have any chance to run away so I demand that our match be a no count-out / no DQ match.”  Bull says that the match is one of the most important that we’ve seen in some time and says that Gumbo actually had a good idea.  “Now, we don’t have time for any more of your garbage so get off the stage so we can get our show started.”  Gumbo stomps off in a huff and Bull leaves so our show can get started.

Pyro goes off once again and our first match is ready to begin.  Madame Jade makes her way out to a pop from the fans.  She high fives the fans as she makes her way to the ring.  She soaks in the adulation from the crowd but it is cut short and Jazz Emmett makes her way out.  She gets into the ring and she is all business.  This match is for Jazz’s future shot at the Ladies title.  Jazz goes right on the offensive and for the first 5 minutes of the match, she controls the pace but Jade kicks it into high gear and for the next 7 minutes, the two go head to head.  Each chop, each stomp elicited excitement from the crowd and then they were on their feet cheering Jade on.  Jade used the momentum and began an aggressive run.  At the 16 minute mark, Jade caught Jazz with a springboard dropkick and Jazz was out. Madame Jade makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Jade gets the win and wins the contract for a future match against the Ladies Champion.  She immediately takes the contract out and signs it so that it cannot be put on the line.  She holds the contract in her hand but her celebration is cut short when Ladies Champion Candice Charisma comes out laughing.  She calls Jade stupid and ignorant as she didn’t even bother to read what she just signed.  Candice says that Jade has put her career on the line all for a shot at her title.   Jade’s face goes white.  Candice says that once she finishes with that chump Ravishing Raquel later tonight, she will give Jade her title shot and then send her to the unemployment line.

Ravishing Raquel is backstage.  She chuckles that the Ladies Champion seems to want to have a beef with everyone on the women’s roster.  Maybe if she keeps picking on people, she’ll intimidate everyone into leaving but she’s not going anywhere.  She’s show the champ that holding the belt doesn’t make you the top dog in this yard.  Candice will learn the hard way that this roster is the toughest she will ever face.

Our next match is ready to begin.  First, El Gato Negro comes out and the fans actually boo her.  She doesn’t even acknowledge them as she heads to the ring.  Next, Lavender Gooms comes out and she makes a bee line for the ring.  El Gato bails to the outside.  The ref announces that this match will be an Anything Goes Street Fight.   This was about as one-sided as it gets.  Now that El Gato is not being cheered by the fans, she seems to have grown as a competitor and now has a ‘take no prisoners’ attitude and that was abundantly clear in this match.  El Gato totally owned this match and Lavender was lucky to get in maybe 6 moves the entire match.  After dominating the match (47 to 145), El Gato hits Lavender with the 9 Lives and makes the cover and gets the pin.  El Gato Negro gets the win much to the dismay of the fans.  She turned her back on them and Lavender and walked to the back.  (15 min)

Texas Wildfire is backstage and says that tonight, the man who stole his title gets what’s coming to him.  The thief will get a healthy Wildfire and once he gets the win, he will be back in the title hunt.

We head to the ring for our third match.  Ravishing Raquel comes out and the crowd pops.  Her music is abruptly cut off when the Ladies Champion Candice Charisma comes out.  The fans boo her and the smile on her face becomes a frown.  She has a mic in hand and reminds everyone (yeah, we know) that this is a non-title match.  Candice doesn’t get any chance for showboating as Raquel goes right on the offensive connecting with a moonsault.  Raquel then picks up the dazed champion and locks in the Ravishing Chickenwing.  Candice struggles trying to reach for the ropes but Raquel has it locked in.  Candice then does the unthinkable…and taps out.  Raquel gets the dominant win in only 2 minutes.  Candice immediately rolls out of the ring, grabs her title and nursing her arm, rushes to the back cursing Raquel the entire way.  Raquel celebrates with the fans briefly before heading to the back.

The Six Man Tag Team Champions Wilber Townsend, Otto Ruthless and Talon McFrost are backstage and they say that after tonight, they will have a new manager in their corner who will help to ensure the belts never leave their waists.  Otto says that Ruth will be one other trophy they will share (SNAP!)  The three have a good laugh but I’m sure their opponent’s wont’ be.

Our next match is a specialty match using Texas Death rules.  The winner of this match will be getting the next title shot at the TV Champion the Unknown Assassin.  First, “Ice Dagger Baby” plays over the loudspeakers and ID makes his way out as the fans boo him.  He flips them off and makes his way to the ring.  Next, the music changes and Texas Wildfire makes his way out and the fans pop huge for him.  He high fives a few of the fans but then runs to the ring.  Ice Dagger bails out of the ring.  TW climbs each of the turnbuckles to louder and louder pops from the crowd.  He gets his coat off and then motions for Ice Dagger to get back in the ring.  Reluctantly (and slower than molasses), ID makes his way back into the ring.  The ref has the bell rung and just as TW was about to tear into him, Ice Dagger jumped out of the ring.  He really is dragging this one out.  Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, he gets back in the ring and this one finally begins.  Only one word can describe this writer’s surprise – DAMN!  Texas Wildfire beat the holy HELL out of Ice Dagger.  This one about as one sided as it could get.  TW had many opportunities to go for a pin or submission but he only wanted to punish Dagger all the more.  10 minutes in, Ice Dagger hits the Ice Breaker and gets a 2 count.  After that, TW went back to what he does best and that was owning the match.  At the 16 min mark, Texas Wildfire grabbed a bullrope and used it to choke Ice Dagger out.  Once ID was sufficiently out, TW went for the pin and got the 3 count.  Texas Wildfire gets the win in dominating fashion (161 to 76).  TW climbed the corner to pops from the fans but then the lights went out and 3 seconds later, we see TW laid out in the ring with the Unknown Assassin and his manager J C Dykes standing over him.  Dykes is laughing and UA is staring at TW laid out.  Dykes grabs the champs’ arm and the two leave.  TW is helped to the back.  (16 min)

The Banker and the Regulators are backstage with their manager Ruth Heartless and they say that the Steel Cage may prevent any outside interference but the champs will not have anywhere to go.  The Regulators say that their title reign begins tonight with the manager of champions Ruth at their side.  The Banker says Ruth is the key to their success so don’t underestimate them.

The Steel Cage is almost complete and we’re getting ready for our next match.  First, Ruth Heartless comes out and introduces her team of the Banker and the Regulators (Mammoth & Mule).  The quartet head down to the ring and enter the cage.  Mammoth begins running the ropes while Mule kicks the cage checking for any instability.  The Banker paces while Ruth provides some last minute advice.  Music changes and out comes the 6 Man Tag Team Champions – Wilber Townsend, Otto Ruthless & Talon McFrost.   They get a little better reception as the fans don’t care for Ruth’s team.  The champs enter the cage and waste no time going after their challengers.  For the first 4 minutes of the match, it was pretty much a dead heat.  All of a sudden, a masked person came to the ring and was attempting to throw a chain to Wilber’s team but Ruth “accidentally” bumped him (or her) and the chain went flying over to the Banker who had no qualms about using to bust Talon up.  The Banker and the Regulators then went on a strong offensive run and the champs just couldn’t keep up.  We join the match now at the 16 minute mark.

Backstage, King Rad Gumbo is with his Queen Ms. Alexandria and he tells her that tonight is their night.  Tonight, the King becomes the World Champion again and with his Queen at his side, nothing will stop them from ruling all of HCW.  He laughs as they walk off.

We go to a different interview area and World Champion Buzz Steel is pacing.  He says that Gumbo is one of the craftiest devils in HCW and tonight, Buzz says that, no offense to his brother Starbuck but this will be the toughest match.  But then after that, so will the next match and so on and so on.  When you’re the World Champion, it’s harder to stay at the top than it is to claw your way up but he is Steel and Gumbo ain’t got nuthin’ on him.

It’s time for our Main Event.  First, the royal music plays and a red carpet is rolled from the stage to the ring.  That is interrupted by “Gumbo 7:30 says it’s suppa time bitch” and his royal pain in the ass-ness King Rad Gumbo and Queen Alexandria make their way out.  She does the royal mock wave and Gumbo gives his own “salute” to the fans.  The two walk down to the ring; Gumbo has one briefcase in his hand and his Queen is carrying the other.  After handing over his scepter, crown and robe, the music changes and out comes the World Champion Buzz Steel.  Buzz high fives the fans as he makes his way to ringside.  Before he can enter the ring, Queen Alexandria walks over and gets in his face.  She begins to jaw jack with him.  He tells her to move or he’ll move her.  He is then blindsided by Gumbo send him crashing into the steel steps.  Gumbo rolls the champ back into the ring and the bell rings but the champ is at a disadvantage.  Queen Alexandria interfered multiple times and even though this was a no DQ match, the ref threatened to eject her from ringside if she interfered again.  Things came down to the wire.  In the 27th minute of the match, Gumbo locked in the Onion Lock (Muta lock) and Buzz fought through the pain and haze for almost 2 minutes.  After making it to the ropes to break the hold, Gumbo got up and was calling for the Crawdad Crunch.  Buzz struggled to his feet.  Gumbo went in but Buzz hit a Buzz Cut out of nowhere and rolled Gumbo up (one of his feet got “caught up” in the ropes) and he got the 1-2-3.  Buzz Steel gets the win and the fans blow the roof off.  Buzz is the victor and holds the title high as the fans pop.  Rad is irate and tries to tell the ref that Buzz had his tights hooked.  Rad, pissed off, takes a mic and says that he is cashing in his second Money in the Bank contract RIGHT NOW!

He attacks Buzz again before the bell even rang in hopes of weakening the champ further.  Queen Alexandria tried to get involved but music hit and out came Starbuck Steel.  The fans popped huge.  Starbuck goes over and has words with the Queen.  Starbuck says something and Ms. Alexandria goes to slap him but Starbuck grabs her wrist and then slaps a handcuff on it.  She is astonished.  Starbuck attaches the other to his own wrist and he brings her over to two chairs that have been set up.  It seems that with her out of the picture, Gumbo is on his own.  Gumbo didn’t really need it as he went toe to toe with the champ for another 15 minutes.  Neither man was able to get a pin or submission.  Queen Alexandria then sprayed something at Starbuck and he was distracted long enough for her to get out of the handcuffs and rush over to hand something to Rad.  Starbuck was up and he grabbed the Queen throwing her over his shoulder and started walking to the back.  This caused just enough of a distraction for Gumbo and that allowed Buzz to hit him with the Buzz Cut and score the 3 count.  Buzz Steel wins back to back matches.  Buzz takes his title and holds it high as he walks up the ramp.  He makes it to the stage and holds it up pointing to the fans.  Gumbo is left screaming at him from the ring.

With that, the show comes to an end.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2018 #674 – Tacoma Thunder

Hello fans and welcome back to another episode of HCW’s Tacoma Thunder.  Pyro goes off and out comes our GM Max McGillicutty.  He thanks the fans for attending and lets us know that once again, HCW took its show on the road and on last Friday, a Ladies Battle Royal was held.  The show went off without a hitch and the surprising winner of a future Ladies title shot was none other than Jazz Emmett.  Jazz defeated Madame Jade in the final moments of the match to secure the win.  After the match, Jade issued Jazz a challenge for that future title shot and Jazz accepted.  This match will be added to the Supershow in 2 days in Phoenix, AZ.   We then go over the lineup for today’s show:

The show kicks off with Wendell coming out to booing from the crowd.  He makes a beeline for the ring and takes a mic.  He tells the audience to shut up while he speaks.  He says that Drew has no problem signing on for a match but when it comes to putting his title on the line, he’s plain scared of him.  Drew the Canadian Love Machine comes out to a huge pop from the crowd.  He tells Wendell that if wants their match tonight to have the US title on the line then so be it.  It looks like we have ourselves a title match to kick things off.  Once Drew got in the ring though, the music changed and out comes Max.  He tells Drew that although he supports him wanting to be a fighting champion, Wendell is not next in line; in fact, he’s not even in the top 10 so if Wendell wants to earn a shot at the title, he will have to do so like any other wrestler.  The match is changed back to a non-title match.

We’ll give Wendell a little credit…he tried.  But up against the US Champion, you have to do more than try and Drew dominated the match which ended up being pretty one-sided and at the 15 minute mark, he connects with the La Casita and scores the pin.  Drew wins the match and the fans pop.  He celebrates with the fans for a few minutes before heading to the back.

Backstage, Hardcore Hensen approaches Jacques Beannot before their match taking place later tonight.  Hardcore demands that their match bet a specialty one.  Jacques asked why and Hensen replied with “BECAUSE IT’S HARDCORE”.   He looked at Jacques like he had two heads and then walked off.  Jacques stared at him and shook his head.

Our next match is ready to begin.  First, out comes the Irishman Red McNulty.  Red is booed as he makes his way down to the ring.  Next, music changes and out comes ‘Red Hot’ Lucas Johnston.  The fans pop pretty loud for him as he makes his way down to the ring.  Red, of course, doesn’t like that and attacks him before the bell.  Lucas only needed a minute or two to recover from the pre-match attack and took the fight to the irate Irishman.  At one point, Red locked Lucas in a cobra clutch but Lucas was able to make it to the ropes to break the hold.  The ref had to forcibly get Red to break the hold and then the two began to have words.  Lucas shook off the cobwebs and as soon as McNulty turned around, he dropped him with an arm drag but held on and used that to roll him up for the 1-2-3.  Red Hot gets the win and the fans pop huge for him.  He leaves the ring as McNulty gets to his feet and begins kicking the ropes in frustration.  He eventually leaves also.  (14 min)

Backstage, Betsy Cummings is stretching and preparing for her match when her opponent Vanilla Zombie walks in.   Betsy yells “What do you want?” but Vanilla stares at her and asks “Why”.  “Why What?” Betsy responds with but when no answer is forthcoming, she asks again “Why What?” Vanilla cocks her head and just stares at her.  Betsy gets into her face “What do you want?  You want our match to be for my spot…is that it?  What is wrong with you?”  When no reply is found, Betsy breaks down and agrees to make this for her spot in the top 10.  “But when I beat the crap out of you, you’ll wish you never 5tangled with me.”  Betsy storms off and Vanilla cocks her head and a (creepy) smile comes across her face.  She turns and leaves also.

Music hits and we hear “I’ve got some bad news for ya” and out comes ‘Bad News’ Marvin Barnes.  Barnes, always in a grumpy mood, stomps down to the ring.  Next, music changes and out comes “the Hoff” Davis Hoffmeister.  The fans practically lose it and the noise almost blows the roof off.  Davis high-fives with the fans as he jogs to the ring.  Davis climbs each of the corner turnbuckles and the fans pop louder each time.   He removes his jacket and as soon as the bell rings, Barnes goes right on the offensive.  Davis had the fans solidly behind him and he fended off the attack by Marvin and at a few points, was toying with Marvin to let him think he had a fighting chance.  After throwing Marvin to the ropes, he connected with a roundhouse kick that almost took the man’s head off.  Davis finally made the merciful cover and got the 1-2-3.  Davis Hoffmeister gets the win much to the fan’s delight.  He leaves and takes his time celebrating with the fans.  The ref helped Marvin to the back.  (15 min)

Backstage, Scarlett Phoenix says that tonight, she has an opportunity to make history and become the Ladies Champion.  She knows that Candice is devious and will do whatever she has to to win but Scarlett says she’s been watching tapes of her and knows what to expect.  Short of Candice discovering the Infinity Gauntlet, there should be a new champion crowned tonight.

Our next match is up and this one will have hardcore rules.  The ref announces that this will be “Falls Count Anywhere” rules and that it is also a no DQ/no Countout match.  First, Jacques Beannot comes out and the fans pop for him.  He runs to the ring and slides under the bottom rope.  Next, over the loudspeakers blares “BECAUSE I’M HARDCORE” and out comes Hardcore Hansen and he marches down to the ring with military precision.  He gets in the ring and begins pushing Jeannot around.  The bell rings and these two begin to slug it out.

Backstage, Ladies Champion is standing there with her title slung over her shoulder.  She mockingly laughs saying “Scarlett, I don’t give a damn who you think you are or what you think you know about me just because you watch a video.  I am THE ladies champion and not you, or Ravishing Raquel or anyone will take this belt from me until I am good and ready to let it go so…never.  Settle for being second best.  Hahaha”

We head back to the ring for our next match which is now for Betsy’s spot in the Ladies Top 10.  First, Vanilla Zombie comes out and the fans pop for her.  She passes by her group of Zombies and it seems the number of individuals has grown.  It looks like Vanilla is getting quite the following.  Once in the ring, Betsy’s music hits and she comes out to booing from the fans especially the zombies.  Betsy mocks them as she makes her way to the ring.  Vanilla is in the ring pacing.  The bell rings before Betsy is ready and Vanilla goes right on the offensive.  Betsy was beside herself with how vicious Vanilla was in the ring.  Around 10 minutes in, she motioned for her twin sister to come out to try for a switch-a-roo  but before Felicia could make it to the ring, Ruby Rose comes out and prevents her from interfering in the match.  The fans popped as Ruby peppered Felicia with lefts and rights until she tucked tail and ran to the back.  Ruby looked to the ring and nodded to Vanilla before leaving.  We join the match now at the 11 minute mark.

Max McGillicutty is back in his office and he talks up the Supershow representing 675 issues of the Wrestling Newsletter.  Max says that Phoenix GM Master Bull is pulling out all the stops and has a pretty well stacked card:

Jazz Emmett vs Madame Jade for the Money in the Bank contract.
Lavender Gooms vs El Gato Negro in an “Anything Goes” rules match.
Ravishing Raquel vs Candice Charisma (non-title if Candice retains the belt or a top contender match if she loses)
6 Man Tag Team Champ rematch:  Talon McFrost, Otto Ruthless and Wilber Townsend vs the Banker and the Regulators but this time will be a no time limit match in a steel cage.  The stipulation from their 5/2 match (Ruth Heartless’ managerial services flip to the champs if they retain) is still in place.  There will either be new champions or Ruth will manage Talon, Otto and Wilber moving forward.
The main event has ‘The Ragin Cajun’ Rad Gumbo cashing in his first MITB contract against World Champion Buzz Steel.

It’s time for our main event.  First, the challenger Scarlett Phoenix comes out and the fans pop huge for her.  Once in the ring, the Ladies Champion Candice Charisma comes out and the fans boo the crap out of her.  She ignores the fans the best she could.  Candice immediately got into Scarlett’s face and the smack talking began.  As soon as the bell rang, the two ladies began slugging it out.  Scarlett kept up with the champ anticipating all the cheating that was going to happen but Candice changed things up and actually wrestled by the book which threw Scarlett off her game.  Once Scarlett figured out what was going on, Candice hurled Scarlet into the corner and she missed the turnbuckles and smacked the steel post with her shoulder.  Candice pulled her into the middle of the ring and called for her signature move  - the Northern Lights Suplex and she connected.  She leaned heavily on Scarlett’s bum arm preventing her from kicking out.  Candice gets the win and retains her title (11 min).  She stands up and yanks the belt from the ref.  As she’s showboating, the crowd explodes when Ravishing Raquel comes out and runs down to the ring.  The two begin throwing lefts and rights and had to be separated by security.   The two kept trying to go at each other but as more and more security got in the ring, they were able to keep them apart.  The show comes to an end with the two of them jaw jacking against each other.

Thanks for reading.  Stay tuned as the Phoenix Super Show is up next.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2018 #673 – Phoenix Heat

Hello fans and welcome back to another installment of HCW’s Phoenix Heat.  The show begins today with a line outside of GM Master Bull’s office.  First, the Huber Clan storms in and says they want a shot at the 6 man titles.  Before Bull can respond, the Muscles Trio shows up and they claim to be the #1 contenders and that they should get the next shot.  Bull tells both teams that they can fight it out in the ring tonight with the winner getting the next shot at the belts.  Both teams leave.  Bull says “Now I have to find a team to fight the 6 man champs tonight” but before he can finish that thought, the Banker, Ruth Heartless and the Regulators walk in.  The Banker says “Well, it looks like you need a team to take on the champs and that should be us.”  Bull asks why.  “Did you not see the amount of destruction the Regulators can cause?  And besides, you owe me for flipping me around between brands like a fish out of water.”  Bull tells him that he’ll grant the match but if they lose, it may be some time before they get another shot.  “No sweat” the Banker says and he and his team walk out.

Bull gets a breather but only for a minute as his peace is disturbed by none other than ‘The Ragin Cajun’ King Rad Gumbo with Queen Alexandria.  Gumbo says that he is demanding to be on tonight’s card and Bull had better make it worth his time.  Bull says that one of Phoenix’s own is ready for in-ring action so he gets to face ‘Top Gun’ Justin Winger.  Gumbo snorts and says that he’ll ground Winger under his heel and then he wants, nay, demands World Champion Buzz Steel.  Gumbo storms out with his Queen.  Bull flops back in his chair already exhausted and the evening is only getting started.

The show begins with pyro and then the Snake Pit (Niven and Tobias Snake) make their way out to the ring first to a surprising pop from the crowd.  Once in the ring, the music changes and out comes the Ambassador and Elitism (‘The Elitist’ Reid Rothchild and ‘Rowdy’ Roderick Rothchild).  The crowd boos as the trio makes their way down to the ring.  Elitism attacks immediately starting this one off.  Unfortunately it didn’t help them as the Snake Pit controlled the entire match even with interference from the Ambassador.  Reid and Roderick made saves pretty regularly preventing the Pit from getting the win.  17 minutes into the match, Niven gets tired of the Ambassadors’ antics and takes him out nullifying any “advantage” Elitism had.  The two teams battled for another 4 minutes.  Reid hits Tobias with a Reid Bottom and tags out to Roderick.  Tobias back bodydrops Roderick and makes the hot tag to Niven and Roderick tags Reid back in.  Reid ducks a clothesline and hits the Rothchild Stunner.  Reid makes the cover and with a hook of the leg (ad tights), he gets the 1-2-3.  Elitism gets the win and the Snake Pit aren’t happy.  Reid and Roderick gather up their manager and walk victoriously to the back.  (21 min)

Master Bull is still in his office and finalizes a match for the upcoming Supershow.  Texas Wildfire vs Ice Dagger is now official and the winner of the match gets the next shot at TV Champion the Unknown Assassin.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  First, Lavender Gooms comes out and gets a decent pop from the crowd.  Next, El Gato Negro comes out and the fans pop.  It seems she’s back in their good graces after her tiff with Scarlett Phoenix.  For about 10 minutes, El Gato had the fans solidly behind her but then after Lavender connected with a corkscrew flying body press from the top rope, the fans began to cheer her equally.  We were approaching the time limit and it seemed like this one was going to go to a draw but Lavender connected with a snap suplex and bridged into a cover.  The ref began to count 1…2…and then El Gato grabbed the bottom rope…but the ref didn’t see it and counted to 3.  The ref awards the match to Lavender.  El Gato complained that she had the bottom rope but the ref said he couldn’t see it because of the bridge cover.  El Gato was furious.  She attacked Lavender and then locked in the Wall-O-Cato and cinched it in.  Lavender was screaming trying to tap out but El Gato wouldn’t relinquish the hold.  The ref finally got her off El Gato took a swipe at the ref who ducked back just in the nick of time.  El Gato stormed out of the ring and Lavender had to be helped to the back.  (19 min)

Backstage, manager J C Dykes whines about the Unknown Assassin not being scheduled for the show but he says that the TV champion will show up where he is least expected.

It’s time for some 6 man tag team action.  First, the Hubers (Butch, Ferb and Junior Huber) come out and are booed.  Next, the Muscles Trio (Muscles McGuire, Weasley and Thorpe) make their way out wearing their rainbow colored bull horns and their boxes of Booty-OOOO’s cereal (which they gave some of the fans).  The winner of this match is in line for the next title shot at the 6 Man Tag Team Champions.  The two teams battled pretty fiercely and almost scored multiple pins but the opposing team was there to break the count.  At the 21 minute mark, Butch Huber catches Muscles McGuire with a discuss lariat and makes the cover getting the 3 count.  The Huber Clan gets the win and will be next in line for the 6 Man tag team title shot.

Backstage, Lavender demands a match against El Gato at the super show.  She doesn’t care what kind of match as long as it is no DQ.

Our next match is ready to go with 5th Column member Oswald Zimmerman already in the ring.  Music hits and out comes former World Champion Starbuck Steel.  The fans pop like crazy.  Starbuck makes his way down to the ring.  The action begins almost immediately and Oswald takes the fight to ‘Buck. Oswald tried to use many dirty tricks to try and take control of the match but Starbuck knew all of them and was able to stay toe to toe with “the Iron Cross”.  Oswald slapped on the stomach claw but Starbuck began to fight out of it and with the fans popping for him, he got the intestinal fortitude to power out of it and then a quick kick to the gut and a Starplex (slingshot suplex) later, ‘Buck gets the 1-2-3.  Starbuck gets the win at the 10 minute mark much to the fans’ delight.  Oswald makes his way to the back and a few moments later, Starbuck did too.

‘Top Gun’ Justin Winger is backstage and the fans pop for him.  He says he’s a little disappointed that even after the Critical Mass PPV ass kicking he gave to the Banker, he’s still here.  He says the Banker is old news and with that out of the way, he’s ready to move on into the hunt for a title.  Tonight, he climbs the ladder by defeating the so-called “King”.  Winger says that ‘Top Gun’ will soar and Gumbo will crash and burn.

The loudspeaker blares with “Gumbo 7:30 says its suppa time, bitch” and out comes ‘The Ragin Cajun’ King Rad Gumbo accompanied by his Queen Ms. Alexandria.  The royal couple make their way down to the ring to the booing from the fans.  Gumbo flips them off while the Queen tries to get him to settle down and get his mind in the game.  Next, ‘Top Gun’ Justin Winger comes out and the fans pop for him.  Winger rushes to the ring (like a jet), slides under the bottom rope and leaps to the corner turnbuckle and the fans pop for his athleticism.  Gumbo pulls him off and gets into his face.  The bell rings and the two begin slugging it out.  Winger holds his own and Gumbo spent a lot of time out of the ring “regrouping”.  For 10 minutes it looked like Winger was going to fly away with a win but as soon as Queen Alexandria made her presence known, things went south for the high flyer.  Gumbo the controlled the match for the next 6 minutes but then Winger started a comeback.  Gumbo went for the New Orleans Crab but Winger reversed it and dropped the King with a Wild Bill punch.  Gumbo then got up and locked in a French Quarter Nelson (aka rest hold) and as Winger was catching his breath, Gumbo turned it into a pin and with his feet on the ropes for leverage, got the 3 count. King Rad Gumbo gets the win. Gumbo began to put the boots to Winger but music hits and out comes the World Champion Buzz Steel.  He goes after Gumbo but Rad bails out and he and Queen Alexandria leave.  Buzz checks on Winger and then points a menacing finger at Gumbo.  Gumbo says that the two of them will meet and he will walk away the victor….”BITCH”.  Buzz exited the ring and went after Rad who chose that moment to hightail it out of there.

Backstage in his office, Master Bull says that Buzz vs Gumbo will take place at the super show next week.  It’s expected to be an explosive one.  Texas Wildfire vs Ice Dagger, Ravishing Raquel vs Candice Charisma (non-title) and Lavender Gooms vs El Gato Negro are also on the card.

It’s time for the main event with the 6 Man Tag Team Championship on the line.  First, the challengers come out.  Led by Ruth Heartless, the Banker and the Regulators (Mammoth and Mule) come out and the fans boo the crap out of them.  They make their way to the ring mostly ignoring them.  Next, the champions Talon McFrost, Otto Ruthless and Wilber Townsend come out and they get a small pop seeing as they are heels too but I guess the Banker and his cronies are hated more.  Once all 6 men (and Ruth) are in the ring, the ref announces that this one will be a 45 minute contest.  The Banker gets on the mic and mocks the champs for hiding behind the DQ rule. Wilber says they’ll forgo the rule but if the champs retain, they also gain the services of Ruth Heartless.  The Banker practically flips out.  “You have to pay the price if you want the goods” Wilber says.  The Banker, Ruth and the Regulator huddle (like in football) and the Banker says they agree to the stipulation.  Wilber adds on that Ruth has to act in the best interest of the team and if she attempts to sabotage them or cost them the titles, she will be removed from HCW and Wilber promises that she will never be seen or heard from again.  The Banker says that to ensure the best team wins (he points to himself) that this now needs to be a 60 minute time limit match.  The ref listens on his earpiece and nods. The match begins.  The champs held their own for a good 20 minutes but after that, the Banker and his goons took the fight to the champs.  The longer it went on, the more the Banker and the Regulators destroyed them.  They went for multiple pin and submission attempts but the champs were able to make the save regularly.  The match had the fans on the edges of their seats for almost the whole match and before we knew it, the bell rang bringing this one to a 60 minute draw.  Both teams were exhausted and frustrated for not scoring a win over the other.  This brought out GM Master Bull.  Bull stated that since the challengers really owned the champs for the majority of the match, (336 to 516) he was going to give the Banker and the Regulators one more chance at the Super Show.  Bull says that that match will be no DQ, no count out and no time limit and will be in a steel cage but the stipulation of Ruth managing Wilber and team if they win will still be in place.

With that, the show comes to an end.  Stay tuned as Tacoma Thunder is up next.
