HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #510

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Tonight, we’ll get to see our World Champion the Stache in action when he defends his title against Tobias Snake.  Also, the Steel Curtain will get in the ring with the Smashers but MJ said this would NOT be a title match.  There will also be a fatal 4 way to determine who will take on the Savior for the US title.

Our show kicks off with a ladies match.  Sarona Reiher makes her way out to the ring to a decent reaction from the crowd.   Next, the ‘colorful’ Lexy Flexx makes her way out and receives a much bigger pop.  Sarona doesn’t like that.  She immediately attacks Lexy as soon as the bell rings.  Reiher was the more aggressive of the two and that carried her throughout the match. Lexy connected with some Japanese arm drags but dropped to the mat after eating a savate kick.  Sarona then hit a Samoan drop and hooked the leg to get the 1-2-3.  Sarona kicks Lexy out of the ring and celebrates to the booing from the fans before departing.  (7 min)

Texas Wildfire makes his way out and stands in the ring with a bullrope over his shoulder.  The fans pop for him.  “Ever since I was knee-high to a mosquita I wanted to...wrassle. I worked haaard to get to the HC dubya. I appreciate all of you fans out there cheerinnn' for the Wildfyah. They put me in the ring with The Wraith. What you do Wraith isn't wrasslin'. You take cheap shots! You don't have the honor the good lord blessed most men with! So Wraith, I have a proposal...if you will. You see this bullrope over mah shoulder? How about I tie one end to my wrist and the other end to your wrist and we have a good old-fashioned bullrope match? You see, since you don't want to wrestle I'm going to have to beat ya like you stole sumthin'. The Wildfyah is gonna stoop to your level in this match Wraith! It's gonna be an old fashioned barnyard whoopin! I'm gonna drag your sorry behind all over the ring! If you got any kind of guts....any kind of heart, you'll strap this bullrope to your wrist. Let's see who can get the dirtiest Wraith! I know the fans here in Phoenix Arizona want to see me beat ya!”      “Wraith..........I'm easy to find.”

We head back to the ring for our next match.  The Steel Curtain (Buzz and Starbuck Steel) make their way out first to a huge pop from the crowd.  Manager MJ comes out and the fans begin to boo.  MJ introduces the Tag Team Champions and the FUTURE of this sport – the Smashers.  The three make their way to the ring and it’s apparent who the fans want to win this match.  It was also apparent who the better tag team is and it is NOT the champs.  The Steel Curtain, with their quick tags, kept the champs disoriented and that really bothered MJ.  Seeing that his team was on the verge of losing, he slipped Smasher #1 a foreign object that was used to knock out Starbuck.  Buzz took out Smasher #1 but he was not the legal man and Smasher #2 used the distraction to hit Buzz with the Fade to Black and with a hook of the leg (and the tights) he got the 1-2-3.  Smasher #2 then picks up Buzz and hits the Steel Smasher and then dumps him out of the ring.  MJ gets on the mic and asks the fans why they back up a team that sucks so bad.  The fans boo and begin throwing stuff at them in the ring.  MJ says that nothing short of a miracle will allow the Steel Curtain a shot at the Tag Team titles.  MJ leaves with the Smashers.  (10 min)

The Duchess and her manager Southern Belle complain that once again, El Gato Negro has interfered in her matches and this time cost her the title.  She wants El Gato in a match.  El Gato wanders over and agrees to the match but only if the winner gets the title shot at the champ at the PPV AND it must be a 30 min time limit match.  Southern Belle agrees on behalf of her client but says it can’t be tonight and will be at an upcoming show so the Duchess can prepare properly.

We head back down to the ring for our next match.  The Wraith comes out first and he is booed almost as bad as the Smashers were.   Next, Desperado member Leon Teremoto comes out and his reaction is just slightly better than that of the Wraith.  It’s interesting that GM Max McGillicutty would put two “heels” in a match against each other.   The Wraith was taking the match to Leon and pretty much had this one locked up until Leon put together a couple of moves that gave the Wraith pause – a spinebuster followed by the ground and pound.  The Wraith, thinking the match was in jeopardy (it really wasn’t), he rolled out of the ring, grabbed a chair and blasted Leon with it resulting in a disqualification.  Leon Teremoto wins this one via DQ.  The Wraith, hurls the chair to the ground and storms off.  Texas Wildfire runs down and the two fight all the way to the back. (7 min)

Backstage, the Saskatchewan Heavyweight International Champion The Savior mocks Drew’s “Canadian” heritage and says he been Americanized.  He should call himself the American/International Man of Stupidity (Austin Powers music plays in a mockery).  He tells Drew that if he ever gets back in the ring with him, his career will be over.

We’re back in the ring for our final four way.  First, making his way to the ring is Desperado member El Chango.   He is then followed out by ‘Perfect Pecs’ Stoddard.  Third, Billy Robbins is announced but he is injured (at the hands of Handsome Hernandez) so Superstar Chic Monroe takes his place.  Lastly, Superquake Ferguson comes out and before he can head to the ring, he asks for a mic.  He says he’s not feeling all that great today and “trust me, I don’t think you’ll want me in that ring…if you catch my drift.  Instead, I think that this man should take my place in this match.”  Music hits and out comes Drew, the Canadian Love Machine.  The crowd pops.  Drew shakes hands with Ferguson and heads to the ring.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that since the rest of the matches this evening were short, he’s giving this one a one hour time limit…just in case.  All four men beat the heck out of each other but try as he might, Drew could not get Chic one on one (he kept tagging out).  It was a good thing the time limit had been extended as this match needed it.  It finally got to a point where Chic Monroe got rid of El Chango and Drew got rid of Pecs and that left the two of them in the ring.  They proceeded to beat the hell out of each other and ended up taking out the ref in the process.  Drew then took Chic to the top turnbuckle and connected with a belly to back suplex.  Both men were down.  A second ref ran down and seeing Drew’s shoulders down, started to count.  At the same time, the original ref recovered and seeing Chic’s shoulder’s down, he too began to count.  Both ref’s counted to 3 at the same time.  Ref #1 awarded the match to Drew and Ref #2 awarded it to Chic.  There really doesn’t seem to be a clear cut winner here.  Max comes back out and says that these two will face each other one more time.  The winner of that match will be the one to challenge the Savior for his title.  All of a sudden, the Savior runs down and takes out both Chic and Drew.  The Savior then questions “What happens when there is no one left?”  He hands the mic off and then leaves.  (45 min)

Backstage, Clarkus Kentus is with the challenger Tobias Snake.  Clarkus asks Tobias if he has what it takes to become the next World Champion.  Tobias says that he and his brothers are tag specialists but tonight, he shows that he can also be a singles champion.

Elsewhere, Larry Morton is with the World Champion the Stache.  The Stache says that October is going to be huge for him as he has agreed to defend his title THREE times this month.  He knows it’s a lot but has confidence in his abilities.

It’s time for the main event.  First, the challenger Tobias Snake comes out and he is booed.  Next, the World Champion the Stache comes out and he gets a huge pop.   Tobias was not prepared for this match and that was apparent by the ASSKICKING the Stache brought forth.  Stache 100% owned this match.  The only time a threat came is after getting kicked out of the ring, Tobias came in and hit the Dirty Deeds DDT for a two count.  Tobias, thinking he could lock it up tried for the Dirty Deeds again but Stache instead hit a Tombstone piledriver.  He made the cover and pretty easily got the 1-2-3.  The Stache successfully defended his title.  All of a sudden, the Wraith runs down and attacks the Stache.  Tobias recovers enough to help him but then Texas Wildfire runs in and he and the Stache clean house.   The show ends with the Stache and Texas Wildfire standing tall while Tobias and the Wraith yell at them from the floor. (12 min)

The cameras stop rolling and GM Max McGillicutty comes back out and says that the fans tonight are electric and he has a treat just for them.  He says that Tobias and the Wraith will team up against the Stache and Texas Wildfire NOW…and it’s NO DQ!  Tobias tries to complain that he was just in a match but it fell on deaf ears.  The Stache hits the Wraith with the Lasso (clothesline) and Wraith hits a strikeout headbutt.  Wildfire asks to be tagged in and Stache obliges.  Wildfire locks in a standing armbar.  Wraith battles back and hits him with a chairshot to the head.  Wildfire hits a bionic elbow and tags out.  The Stache eye rakes the Wraith but Wraith connects with a slingshot suplex.  He goes for the pin but Stache kicks out.  Wraith tags to Tobias.  Stache catches him with the Sh*tkicker (dropkick) but Tobias nails a hook and ladder facebuster.  He goes for the pin but Stache kicks out at 2.  The Wraith is tagged back in but Stache catches him with the whiplash.  Wraith prevents him from tagging out.  Wraith hits another slingshot suplex but chooses not to go for the pin.  Stache locks Wraith in the Handlebar (camel clutch) but Wraith doesn’t submit.  Stache makes the tag to Wildfire.  Wildfire bounces Wraith’s head against the turnbuckle and Wraith hits a backhand chop (WOOOOOOO from the crowd).   This just kept on going with all 4 men taking turns beating the hell out of one another.  Stache gets back in and catches the Wraith with the Sh*tkicker but Tobias makes the save but is immediately escorted back out of the ring.  Stache locks the Wraith in the Handlebar again but instead of going for a submission, he turned it into a pin attempt and got the 1-2-3.  The Stache and Texas Wildfire get the win in this matchup which sends the fans home happy.

That’s all for now.  Stay tuned for more action.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #509

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  The show starts right off with ‘the Elitist’ Reid Rothchild.   “Master Bull…you and I had been through a lot together and after everything including the kickbacks (wait…what?) I provided you with, this is how you repay me?  Stabbing me in the back?  Well guess what… tonight, I get your new protégé ScooterJ in the ring and once and for all, I’ll teach him a thing or two about manners.  Next, I’m going to ask to get YOU in the ring.  That’s right, you’ll get to lace those boots up one more time and then I will show you pain and suffering and it will be at my hands.  ScooterJ…a word of advice…don’t trust Master Bull.  He is full of…I’m going to keep this PG…BS.”  The fans start a “BS…BS …BS” chant.  Reid smiles.  “Tonight, one of you fall and then, BS, you’re mine.”  Reid walks off camera.

We cut to the ring and pyro goes off to kick off tonight’s show.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that tonight, we will see two titles defended.  Reid will defend the TV title against ScooterJ and the World Tag Team Champs the Smashers will defend their titles in our main event against 2 members of the Snake Clan. He has much more planned so he leaves so the match can begin.

Our show kicks off with Wilber Townsend making his way out.  He appears to be ok after he got hurled off the stage a few weeks ago.  He gets an ok reaction.  The music changes and out comes the Axe.  He gets a much bigger pop.  Wilber begins with a short arm clothesline and the Axe connects with the Axe.  He goes for a quick pin but Wilber kicks out.  Wilber drops Axe with another short arm clothesline.  Wilber tried for a running senton but Axe nullified it.  Wilber nails the Go To Sleep but Axe rolls out of the ring to avoid being pinned.  Axe is back in and locks in a headlock.  Wilber hits a lifting sideslam and goes for a pin but only gets a 2 count.  Axe stuns Wilber with a  Belly to Belly suplex.  Wilber hits a lifting forearm smash and Axe hits the Axe again.  He makes the cover but Wilber kicks out at 2.  Axe locks in another headlock and Wilber nails the Go To Sleep once again.  Wilber rolls him up and with a handful of tights, manages to get the 1-2-3.  Wilber Townsend wins this one in questionable fashion.  He leaves as Axe questions the ref but nothing happens as there is no instant replay option in wrestling.  (8 min)

There is a commotion backstage and Max runs over to see Reid Rothchild on the floor busted up.  Max immediately calls for medics and then goes in search of Master Bull and ScooterJ.

Master Bull and ScooterJ make their way out to the ring.  Master Bull says that Reid must have tripped and bumped his head.  The fans begin a “BS…BS…BS” chant.  ScooterJ tells them to shut up and calls out Max.  Max comes out and he’s livid.  ScooterJ says that since Reid is hurt and can’t defend the TV title ON TV, he should be awarded the belt.  Master Bull backs him up.  Max tells them both NO.  Max says he will determine who attacked Reid and once he does, that person or persons will be suspended.  Bull and ScooterJ act all innocent in the ring.  Max says that ScooterJ will in fact get his match but it will not be tonight.  However, ScooterJ will have a match tonight and in fact, it takes place right now.

Jerry Saunders makes his way out and he is ScooterJ’s opponent.  This match went much longer than anticipated but as Master Bull pointed out, ScooterJ was good before they teamed up and this match went to show that he was in fact, a LOT better with Bull in his corner.  Master Bull did manage to slip ScooterJ a foreign object that was used to bust open Jerry.  By the time 17 minutes rolled around, Jerry could barely stand and was wearing the crimson mask.  Bull told ScooterJ to finish him and ScooterJ hit Jerry with a running clothesline.  He didn’t need to hook the leg or anything as Jerry was out.  ScooterJ gets the win.  Master Bull raises his arm in celebration.  (17 min)

Backstage, manager MJ is with the World Tag team Champions the Smashers.  In reference to the Snake Clan, Smasher 2 asks “didn’t we already beat these guys one before?”  MJ says that the champs will dominate as they’ve done since walking into the HCW and they will walk out with their belts intact.

The Wraith heads down to the ring. He takes a mic and belittles the Stache for trying to play mind games with him.  He says the distraction was the only reason that nobody Texas Wildfire got the win over him…it was by cheating, of course.  The Wraith says he wants another crack at the Wildfire and tells him to get his ass into the ring.  Texas Wildfire comes out to a good pop.  He runs down to the ring and enters; ready for action.  Texas Wildfire began cleaning the Wraith’s clock.  The Wraith was beside himself.  He question what the hell he got himself into.  After hurling Texas Wildfire out of the ring, he went over and removed a turnbuckle cover.  As soon as TW got back in the ring, The Wraith hurled him right into it seemingly knocking him out.  The Wraith then dumped him out of the ring.  The ref counted to 10 and awarded the match, via CO, to the Wraith.  He laughed as he walked away.  (4 min)

Backstage, P&L (Phat Sol and Lucas Johnston) were talking about being in singles matches tonight.  Phat says he’s got the Crocodile Hunter and Lucas has Outback Oscar.  The Ambassador comes over and says he will be in both men’s corner so they have nothing to worry about.

We go back to the ring where Jesse California makes his way out.  Over the loudspeaker rings “VAMPIRE LUNGES FOR EVERYONE!” and out comes Ant Graham and Dr. Red Fang.  Fang rushes the ring and attacks Jesse.  Jesse connects with a swinging neckbreaker.  Ant then hits Jesse in the knee with his cane and Jesse’s leg gives way.  Dr. Red Fang locks in a spider web lock and almost immediately Jesse taps out.  Dr. Red Fang won this one very quickly.  Dr. Red Fang hollers “Bring me the Fiend!”  (1 minute via submission)

We cut to the back again and the Queen’s Court is in session.  Queen Beckett says that united they are unbeatable but divided, they are lost.  She says that they will be in action as a team and will prove to all that the Court is the highest law in the land.

It’s time to go back to the ring for our next match.  First, accompanied by his manager the Ambassador, it’s one half of P&L:  Phat Sol.  He saunters down to the ring and starts bouncing around the ring awaiting his opponent.  Music hits and out comes the Crocodile Hunter.  Phat’s eyes go all wide and he scurries to the corner to confer with his manager.  The match kicks off and Croc just DOMINATES.  Phat only got in one offensive move in 6 minutes.  Finally, the Ambassador got involved on Phat’s behalf and he started his offensive run.  About 13 minutes into the match, Croc got tired of the Ambassador’s interference and he chased him away from the ring.  That left Phat all by himself and he didn’t do well on his own.  The Crocodile Hunter ends up hitting the Croc’s Throne and he made the cover for the 1-2-3.  The Crocodile Hunter is victorious in this one.  Phat left looking for his manager.  (17 min)

Backstage, Phat finds the Ambassador who is with ‘Red Hot’ Lucas Johnston.  Phat asks why he ran and didn’t stay.  The Ambassador didn’t want Croc putting his hands on him so he came back here to get Lucas but by the time they were heading to the ring, it was all over.  The Ambassador says that Lucas’ match is up next and this time, he’s not going anywhere.

We head back to the ring and the Ambassador is leading Lucas Johnston out to the ring.  Lucas waits as his opponent Outback Oscar makes his way to the ring.  At the direction of the Ambassador, he has Lucas attack Oscar off the bat but ends up getting dumped out of the ring.  The Ambassador then sucker punches the ref resulting in a disqualification.  Oscar gets the win in just under a minute via DQ.  He’s not happy about it but a win is a win…I guess.

The Snake Family (Niven, Leiton and Tobias) are backstage being interviewed.  They do ‘rock, paper, scissors’ to see which two of them will represent their family.  Niven and Leiton win.  They will do what no one else to date has been able to do…defeat the Smashers and take those Tag Team titles.

The Queens Court (Lady Hermann, Queen Beckett and the British Crippler) all head to the ring amidst the booing from the fans. Next, Betsy & Felicia Cummings come out and the fans cheer a little until they are joined by Taylor Bella who is booed (fans still dislike her from her attack on Madame Jade).  The twins and their new partner really tore into the Court keeping them at a disadvantage for the majority of the match with lots of double and triple teaming.  About 8 minutes in, the Court took over and crushed poor Betsy.  It wasn’t until the hot tag was made 5 minutes later that Taylor Bella began to clean house.  She first took out Beckett and Lady Hermann and then dumped (unceremoniously I might say) the British Crippler out of the ring.  The Court regrouped and tried to take back control but by now, the twins and Taylor had this one locked up.  Felicia kept hitting the sitout facebuster and her sister hit a springboard armdrag.  Taylor would hit a face plant.  They kept up this level of offense till the end of the match.   Betsy just made the tag to Felicia who got hit by the Michinoku Driver by the British Crippler and made the tag to Taylor.  Lady Hermann was then tagged in.   Taylor hit the ropes and caught Lady Hermann with a monkey flip.  She then made the cover and hooking the leg got the 1-2-3.  The Cummings twins and Taylor Bella got the win.  The crowd was a bit more appreciate of their efforts but Taylor flipped off the crowd and the booing ensued.  (23 min)

GM Max McGillicutty came out and announces that the HCW has received permission to branch out from the four corner states and the Oct PPV will in fact take place in San Diego, CA.

It’s now time for our main event.  The challengers Niven & Leiton Snake come out first to a mixed reaction from the crowd.  Next, manager MJ and the tag team champs the Smashers make their way out to horrendous booing from the crowd.  Just as they make it to the ring, the music changes and the Steel Curtain (Buzz and Starbuck Steel) make their way out.  The glare at the champs as they go to sit at commentary.  The challengers try to take advantage of the distraction and attack the champs as soon as the bell rings.  It didn’t really help as the champs doubleteamed Leiton right off the bat.  After MJ tried to interfere and backed off after the Steel Curtain stood up, the Snakes took control.  Leiton connected with both a pedigree facebuster as well as a curb stomp but to no avail.  Niven had his opportunity but didn’t make much of it.  MJ then distracted Niven and Leiton caught Smasher #2 with a curb stomp.  He immediately tagged in Smasher #1 who then hurled Leiton from the ring.  He dropped him hard on the steel steps and ran him into the ringpost.  Smasher #1 crawled back in the ring just before the 10 count and Leiton is counted out.  The Smashers win this one via countout.  They tried to go after Leiton again but the Steel Curtain stood up and the teams stared at each other as the show came to an end.

That’s all we have for right now.  Stay tuned for more action.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #508

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  All kinds of stuff is hitting the fan right about now and we are just trying to make sense of it all.  Tonight’s show will feature P&L taking on Adam Jameson and Billy Robbins.  ‘The Ragin Cajun’ Rad Gumbo will see action against Oswald Zimmerman.  Dr. Red Fang may bite off more than he can chew when Biceps Bannerman steps up to the plate.  Madame Jade and Taylor Bella finally get their face off in the ring in a Last Woman Standing match.  The Main Event will have Ladies Champion the Duchess with her new manager Southern Belle take on the #1 contender Ravishing Raquel for the title.  Belle made a threat against Raquel…will she back it up?  This and so much more.  Let’s get this party started.

The show kicks off as Biceps Bannerman makes his way down to the ring to a huge pop from the crowd.  Manager Ant Graham comes out next and introduces “the next Hardcore Champion” Dr. Red Fang.  Fang rushes to the ring but Biceps is waiting for him and after a short scuffle, hurls Fang out of the ring.  The bell rings and the match is officially underway.  Graham got involved early on getting under the skin of Biceps.  Fang was definitely more vicious in this one.  Graham choked Biceps in the corner and Fang followed it up with a Skull Crusher.  Biceps finally had more than he can handle and after hoisting Fang over his head, he HURLED him to the outside of the ring.  Fang, after he landed, and Ant Graham were both SHOCKED.  Even though Fang was ahead on “points”, with Biceps in this mindset, maybe it wasn’t worth messing with this giant anymore and the two of them left the ring resulting in countout win for Biceps Bannerman.   Biceps posed briefly for the fans before leaving.  (5 ½ min)

Backstage in the interview area, Ladies Champion the Duchess is with her new manager Southern Belle.  Belle says that the Duchess will continue to dominate the Ladies division and with her at the champs’ side, nothing will stand in their way.

Match #2 is ready to start.  First, Adam Jameson and Billy Robbins come out first to a good pop from the crowd.  Next, the Ambassador comes out and introduces, who he calls the “uncrowned tag team champs” P&L:  Phat Sol and Red Hot Lucas Johnston.  P&L make their way to the ring but back off from getting into the ring when AJ and Billy show a bit of aggressiveness.  The Ambassador gives his blessing and they enter the ring.  The Ambassador stepped back and let his team go but AJ and Billy were a bit more than they could handle.  For 8 minutes, Adam and Billy kept P&L off any game plan they may have had.  After Phat was able to connect with the Phat Phat (Brainbuster) on Billy, the tide finally turned in their favor.  The Ambassador then provided some good intel and P&L owned the match moving forward.  Phat and Lucas ended up taking AJ outside the ring and double teamed him.  Back in the ring, Billy was getting ready to go help but then Handsome Hernandez ran in leveling Billy with a chair.  He then locked in a cross armbreaker through the chair and seemed to injure Billy.   Back on the outside of the ring, Lucas hurled AJ from one end of the ring into the waiting arms of Phat Sol who launched Adam into the air and he crashed hard on the steel steps.  It looks like Adam is injured too.  By this time, Handsome Hernandez already skulked away.  Lucas gets in the ring and hits Billy with a DDT.  He goes for the cover but they are too close to the ropes and somehow Billy gets his foot under the rope breaking the count.  Lucas then started to blast Billy with multiple forearm shots and Billy just couldn’t protect himself enough.  Lucas then hooked the leg and the ref counted 1…2…3.  Red Hot Lucas Johnston and Phat Sol have won this one.  The Ambassador raises their arms as Phat kicks Billy out of the ring.  They celebrate a moment longer before departing.  (15 min)

Backstage, the Wraith storms into GM Max McGillicutty’s office.  He complains he isn’t being used so Max tells him he gets action in the ring tonight.  He tells him to go get ready.

We head back to the ring for our next match and it looks like we have a new wrestler debuting tonight.  He calls himself the Texas Wildfire. He comes out first to a decent pop.   Music changes and out comes the Wraith.  He is not appreciated by the fans so it looks like the Texas Wildfire will receive the full support of the fans tonight in his debut match.  Before the bell could begin, the Wraith hits TW with a chair busting him open.  The match then begins with TW at a disadvantage but he promptly battles back.   After some rapid fire punches, TW hits a Hangman’s Clothesline and goes for the cover but only gets a 1 count.  An eye gouge from the Wraith is met with rapid fire punches and the Wraith is dazed.  TW catches the Wraith with a snap powerslam and another pin attempt but Wraith again kicks out at 1.  Wraith stuns TW with a Strikeout Headbutt.  TW shakes it off and hits a leaping DDT for another cover and a 1 count.  TW then smashes the Wraith’s head into the corner turnbuckle.  TW locks in a standing armbar but that is reversed and the Wraith picks up the chair he used earlier and tried for a chair shot but TW got out of the way.  Not sure why the ref didn’t disqualify the Wraith here.  TW recovers, hits another Hangman’s Clothesline and gets a 2 count this time.  The Wraith eye gouges TW again but gets distracted when, up on the Omegatron, a picture of our World Champion the Stache shows up.  The Wraith curses and mutters.  He turns around only to get caught by a leaping DDT.   TW rolls him up and with arms locked up, he gets the 1-2-3.  Texas Wildfire is victorious in his first outing.  As he is celebrating, the Wraith uses a chair and takes him out.  The segment ends with the Wraith yelling “STACHE…STACHE….” (in anger of course).  (15 min)

Ravishing Raquel is backstage and she has something she wants to say.  “Duchess, it’s time.  It’s time for the poser holding the Ladies title to relinquish it to the one who is the TRUE Champion...me.  You’ve had your bit of fun but now it’s time to get serious.    Belle, I heard what you had to say.   To steal a catchphrase from my husband Reid Rothchild (who stole it from the Rock), ‘just BRING IT’.  Anytime, anywhere you get the itch to get back in the ring, the Ravishing Chickenwing will be waiting for you.”

We go back to the ring for our tag match.  First, the Ryzing Storm (Travis and Terra Ryzing) make their way out first.  They get a so-so reaction.  Next, the Hollywood Star and ‘the Gold Standard’ Bruce Biltmore make their way to the ring.  The reaction they get is a bit better than that of their opponents.  The bell rings just as they hit the ring and we’re off.  The Star and Bruce immediately start off double teaming their opponents and they just kept that momentum for the start of the match.  Around the 8 minute mark, Travis Ryzing caught Bruce with a superkick that looked like it nearly took his head off.  Fortunately, Bruce was in the right place at the right time and tagged the Star in and he cleaned house.  Some quick tags between Travis and Terra and Travis was back in.  Travis nails the Star with a powerslam but Bruce is in and quickly tosses him out of the ring.  He makes it back in and after hitting the Star with an eye gouge, he went for a piledriver but the Star reversed it and nailed the Hollywood Slam.  He hooked the leg and got the 1-2-3.  The Hollywood Star and Bruce Biltmore get the win.  (14 min)

It seems that GM Max McGillicutty has been approached by a guy who calls himself UFCM Brooks.  He claims to be a veteran mixed martial artist who wants to give wrestling a shot.  Max asks him about his credentials and Brooks says that this would be his first ever wrestling match.  Max seems a bit leery and says that he’s going to take it easy on him.  He is going to put him in a match against Turnip.  (Turnip still has not won a single match).  Max says that if Brooks wins, he’ll be offered a contract.  If Turnip wins, he will be granted a title match in the near future.

Madame Jade is backstage and says that she knew it was Taylor who attacked her all along.  She doesn’t understand why she just didn’t ask for the title shot she won instead of resorting to something so dastardly.  At this point, though, it no longer matters.  She will destroy Taylor and just like Taylor’s sisters the Bella Twins, she’ll send Taylor out and she can keep her sisters entertained…on the unemployment line.

UFCM Brooks comes out first and the fans just don’t know what to make of the guy covered from head to toe in tattoos.  Next, Turnip comes out and he gets a pop that practically made him jump out of his boots.  He heads down to the ring and our next match is now underway.  Max comes out and says that he’s not sure how long this will go so he makes the match no time limit.  Turnip had more offense in this one match than he probably ever did in the rest of his matches combined.  He took Brooks to school and in surprisingly short time, was able to pin the man after hitting him with a weak uppercut.  Apparently that uppercut was enough to clean the clock of Mr. Brooks.  Turnip stays in the ring and eats up the adulation from the fans.  (12 min)

Taylor Bella is backstage and she says that Madame Jade is nothing but delusional.  Taylor will dispatch Jade and then will go back after the Ladies title.  She heads towards the ring.

We’re back in the ring and it’s time for our Last Woman Standing match.  First, Madame Jade makes her way to the ring with a good pop from the crowd.  She is then followed out by Taylor Bella who gets booed.  There isn’t much down time as the two go right at it.  Madame Jade had control of the match early on until she got dumped out of the ring.  Taylor then took over and kept beating down her former partner.  Each time she went for a pin, she would get a two count and then pull Jade up by her hair.  This elicited some serious booing from the fans.  Jade finally got her second win and began taking it to Taylor.  Taylor caught her in mid air and dropped her with a Bella Bomb.  She went for the cover but immediately pulled Jade up.  Taylor went over and removed a turnbuckle cover from one of the corners.  Jade seemed like she was out on her feet.   Taylor connected with a dropkick that looked to send Madame Jade flying out of the ring but she grabbed the top rope to keep herself from flying over.  She immediately turned, leapt and caught Taylor with a springboard dropkick that sent Taylor head first into the exposed corner knocking herself out.  The ref began to count and finally reached 10 before Taylor could get to her feet. Madame Jade wins this one.  Taylor rolled out of the ring slowly and sulked all the way to the back while Jade celebrated with the fans.  (20 min)

‘The Ragin Cajun’ Rad Gumbo is backstage with his manager MJ.  Gumbo states that tonight, he takes on 5th Column member Oswald Zimmerman.  Gumbo says he hopes Zimmerman puts up more of a fight than Humpty Dumpty Kone did.  MJ and Gumbo have a quick laugh.  That match is next.

5th Column member Oswald Zimmerman makes his way out and he is accompanied by his manager Ant Graham.  They make their way down to the ring amidst the booing from the fans.  The music changes and over the loudspeakers blares “Gumbo 7:30 says its suppa time bitch!”  ‘The Ragin Cajun’ Rad Gumbo come out accompanied by his manager MJ.  The two make their way down to the ring.  Gumbo does some posing in the ring and our two managers have words with each other before the ref sends them both out of the ring.  Right off the bat, Gumbo gets mouthy with the German and Oswald (after Ant distracted the ref) hit a low blow.  Gumbo battled back and locked Oswald in the New Orleans crab.  Oswald made it to the ropes to break the hold.  Rad hits a Voodoo driver but then gets hurled out of the ring.  He’s back in at 3.  Oswald connects with another low blow and Ant Graham verbally antagonizes Rad.  Rad is dumped out of the ring again but this time he makes use of the time flirting with some ladies at ringside.  Oswald nails a german suplex on the floor but then gets hurled into the steel steps by Gumbo.  Both men eventually make it back into the ring.  Rad hits another voodoo driver and follows it up with the ‘Where you at?” (quick jabs).  Oswald connects with back to back Flatliners but the ref doesn’t make the count.  Ant shoves the ref but gets a stern warning instead of being disqualified.  Oswald choked Rad in the corner and it looked like Ant was going to get involved again.  MJ ran over and plowed into Graham knocking him down.  Oswald, expecting something from his manager (maybe a foreign object?) and is stunned to see his manager knocked down.  Gumbo drops Oswald and once again locks in the New Orleans Crab.  This time, with no one to save him, Oswald taps out.  Rad Gumbo gets the win.  MJ jumps in the ring and raises the arm of Gumbo.  Oswald and Graham leave.  Gumbo flirts a bit more with the female fans and then they leave.

As they are making their way up the ramp, music hits and its…MAGNUM KONE!  The King of Cones has returned.  Rad can’t believe it.  He charges him and the two of them fight on the stage.  Magnum drops Rad with a bodyslam on the stage and follows it up with a standing splash.  Magnum then whistles and a dump truck rolls in (it’s a small truck) and it pulls up to where the two of them are standing.  Magnum climbs into the truck and starts to dump the contents of what is in the scoop.  HA!...it’s popsicle sticks.  Magnum has just buried Rad Gumbo under a bunch of popsicle sticks.  MJ looks on in anger.  Magnum says he’s not cleared yet for a return to the ring but he will be by October’s PPV Halloween Scream.  He challenges Rad to a Buried Alive match and this will be the end of their feud.  One winner.  One walks away.  Magnum leaves to the cheers from the fans.  Rad eventually makes it out of the pile with MJ’s help and he is furious.

Backstage, Max is watching what has transpired.  “Well, it looks like we have our first match for the PPV.  I guess I’d better get started on the rest.”

It’s time now for our main event.  First, the challenger Ravishing Raquel makes her way to the ring to the largest pop of the night.   She gets into the ring and motions that she will in fact be the next Ladies Champion.   Next, Southern Belle comes out with a mic and introduces the Ladies Champion The Duchess.  The Duchess is a bit hesitant to get in the ring with Raquel but she eventually does.  Raquel wastes no time in going after the champ but the Duchess bails out of the ring to confer with her manager.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that he knows the Duchess can last 20 min in the ring but can she pull of 30?  Max sets the time limit on the match to 30 min.  The Duchess is not happy and Belle tries to calm her down.  Eventually the Duchess gets back in the ring.  The champ stayed toe to toe with Raquel for the first 8 minutes of the match.  Belle tried to distract Raquel with some smack talk but it really didn’t faze her.  Raquel gets dumped out of the ring and Belle looks to attack but Raquel is very aware of her surroundings and doesn’t give Belle the chance.  She gets back in the ring and tries to dump the Duchess out but Duchess reverses it and plants a kick to the gut.  Belle gets up on the ring apron and plots an excellent strategy giving the champ the boost she needed.  However, not sure that helped when El Gato Negro came out and went to sit at commentary.  The Duchess tried to complain but it did no good.  We now join the match at the 21 minute mark.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #507

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Last issue saw Southern Belle turn on Madame Jade while Master Bull turned on ‘the Elitist’ Reid Rothchild.  Good news is that both of them will be speaking today on their actions.

We start off in GM Max McGillicutty’s office.  Sitting with him is the TV Champion Reid Rothchild.   Reid appears hot.  “I want answers, Max.  I want to know why, after all this time, he turned on me.”  Max replies “Reid, I don’t have those answers.  You will need to have that conversation with Master Bull.  Speaking about Master Bull, I have a bit of bad news.  Apparently now he manages ScooterJ and has demanded that since your ‘illegal actions’ last week (using the chair and then pretending ScooterJ was the culprit), he is demanding that you once again defend the TV title against ScooterJ.  I’m afraid I have to side with him on this one but I will allow you to choose the stipulation.”   Reid ponders it for a moment and then says “I want it no DQ.”  Max nods and says “Done”.  Reid picks up his title and leaves.

Pyro goes off and we are underway.  Kicking off our first match is Perfect Pecs Stoddard.  He heads to the ring and most people here don’t care for him.  His opponent Adam Jameson comes out and gets a good pop from the crowd.  Pecs totally owned this match as he outwrestled his opponent at every turn.  AJ tried to turn the tide multiple times but tonight was Pec’s night.  Pecs took his time but was in shock when he noticed the clock ticking down.  Pecs hit the White Noise piledriver but AJ kicked out at 2.  He then sent AJ to the ropes and caught him with a fallaway slam.  Pecs rolled him up and got the 3 count just before the time limit ran out.  Perfect Pecs Stoddard gets the win.  (19:55)

Backstage, manager Ant Graham is with 2 members of the 5th Column – Baron von Blood and Oswald Zimmerman.  Graham says that the 5th Column wants to continue with their winning ways and issue a challenge to the Desperados (El Chango and Leon Teremoto).  The Desperados have yet to arrive so we’re not sure if this match will happen tonight or not.

In an effort to try to win over the fans (give him credit for trying), Pete Punsher (the PUN-isher) makes his way out.  He has a mic.

“Ok, I know my puns have been challenging to say the least but I’ve got a new batch I know you’re just going to love.”

“Why did the bike fall over?  It was too tired.”  The fans boo.  Pete begins to get upset.

“I couldn't quite remember how to throw a boomerang, but eventually it came back to me.”  The fans groan again.  Pete can’t understand why they’re not getting his awesome humor.

“Did you hear about the guy who got hit in the head with a can of soda? He was lucky it was a soft drink."  The fans break out into full hatred mode.  “Fine, you idiots don’t get to see me wrestle tonight then.”  Pete drops the mic and storms off.

We cut to the back and the Hardcore Champion The Fiend has arrived.  He is met by Clarkus Kentus who asks where he’s been.  “I’ve been touring overseas representing the HCW and I’ve kept my ear to the ground and I’ve heard that Dr. Red Fang has been throwing tantrums because he hasn’t gotten his way.  Guess what Fang, you LOST the belt to me and now, you need to start all over again.  Tonight, I’m taking on Mr. Wrestling V.”  Clarkus tells him that actually Mr. Wrestling V lost his shot to Dr. Red Fang.  “Well doesn’t that just cut the cake?  Fine…I’ll take on Angry Jack Lawson.”  The Fiend heads off towards the dressing room.

Backstage in Max’s office, Ant Graham is with Dr. Red Fang and complains to Max that the Fiend is ducking them.  Max says it’s the Fiend’s prerogative to wrestle who he wants as long as he defends his title once every 30 days.  Graham says that it’s actually been more than 30 days since he defended the title here.  Max says that the Fiend has been representing the HCW overseas and he did defend the title there so he’s met the requirement.  Graham says he and the good Dr. are going to take matters into their own hands and they storm out of Max’s office.

The Desperados arrive on the scene and Larry Morton meets with them and tells them about the challenge from the 5th Column.  El Chango says “Of course we’ll accept” and he and Leon head inside to change.

We head back to the ring and Angry Jack Lawson powerwalks to the ring.  He paces in the ring like a caged animal.  Next, the Hardcore Champion the Fiend comes out to a good pop from the crowd.  He announces that this match will be a Boot Camp rules match. The Fiend stayed right there with the Angry one until the Fiend got stomped on by a military boot and then hurled into the ringside post.  Jack then turned up the heat (so to speak) and really took the match to the champ.  Jack climbed to the top rope and nailed a clothesline.  He went for the pin but the Fiend kicked out at 2 and 99/100.  Jack was pissed.   The Fiend connects with the Last Caress (DDT) but Jack kicks out at 1.  The Fiend then puts on a helmet and hits Jack with the Project 1950 (headbutt smash).  He tries to go for the pin but the bell rings bringing this one to a time limit draw.  All of a sudden, Dr. Red Fang rushes out and attacks the Fiend.  Fang nails the Fiend with a Vampire’s Lunge.  The Fiend is down.  Fang takes the title and holds it high while screaming “Vampire Lunges for everyone!”  Ant got him to calm down.  Fang drops the title on the still unconscious champ and leaves.

We cut to the back where Clarkus Kentus is sitting with Southern Belle.  Clarkus starts off with the question on everyone’s mind:  “Why did you attack Madame Jade”?  Belle replies “The question should actually be ‘Why didn’t I’.  Madame Jade is not worthy of my managerial skills and wanted her to understand that.”  Clarkus asks “If she is not on your list of someone to manage, do you have someone already picked out?”  Belle smiles.  “Yes, I almost gave that away last show but those fans were not worthy of such an announcement so I decided to hold off…until now.  You see, I’ve done a lot of scouting and the one person with the best record in this division is Ravishing Raquel.  However, Raquel has declined my invitation to manage her so I’ve decided on the next best thing…the Ladies Champion the Duchess.  That’s right…the champ has earned my services and I will be in her corner to ensure that title never leaves her side.  Raquel will regret not taking me up on my offer.”  Belle gets up and leaves.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  First, the Desperados (El Chango and Leon Teremoto) come out to a pop from the crowd.  Next, Ant Graham makes his way out and introduces the 5th Column members Oswald Zimmerman and Baron von Blood.  This time the Desperados are the aggressors and they go after Oswald and the Baron.  However, the early interference from Ant Graham put the Desperados at a disadvantage.  7 minutes in, Leon and El Chango attack Oswald on the outside of the ring hitting him with a spike piledriver.  Oswald is out for 10 minutes.  That left the Baron to fend for himself but with Graham constantly interfering, he was able to keep the momentum going until Oswald recovered.  Baron hits El Chango with a Blitzkreig Stunner and goes for the pin but El Chango kicks out and miraculously makes the tag to Leon.  Just as Leon is getting in the ring, Ant Graham hits him with his cane breaking it.  Leon fell into the ring and the Baron made the cover and with a hook of the tights, scored the 1-2-3.  The 5th Column win another one.  Just then, the Axe, Dude USA Mick Rude and Jesse California all ran down and Graham and his boys took off.  Axe gets on the mic and throws out a challenge to the 5th Column demanding a rematch.  We can hear Graham yell back “Only on my terms boy…only on my terms.”  Eventually Axe, Mick and Jesse leave.  (18 min for the match, 22 total for the segment)

Larry Morton is backstage with Master Bull.  Larry says that he, along with the fans and Reid Rothchild want to know why he turned his back on his friend.  Bull says that Reid has been a disappointment.  He says that Reid couldn’t actually wrestle his way out of a paper bag and the only reason Reid was as successful as he appeared to be was because of him.  Bull says that ScooterJ is a breath of fresh air who defeated Reid in only his second outing.  Bull said that after conferring with ScooterJ, he agreed to take Bull on as his manager with just one stipulation…he wanted a rematch for the TV title.  Bull said he would make it happen.  “If this guy is this good without me, imagine what we can do with me as his manager…the sky is the limit.”  With that, the segment ends.

It’s time for our main event.  The Savior makes his way to the ring first amidst the booing from the crowd.  Next, US Champion Drew the Canadian Love Machine makes his way out to the largest pop of the night.  Drew rushed to the ring which prompted the Savior to bail out.  The few times the Savior tried to sneak back in, Drew would turn around and the Savior would bail again.  Finally Drew backed off long enough to let the Savior back in the ring.  It was announced that this would be a Canadian Brawl Games rules and they would be given a no time limit match so it would allow them to finish this feud.  Both men locked up and for two minutes, neither would give an inch.  The Savior, of course, hits a low blow and that started his offensive run.  Drew would battle back hitting both the Lover’s Bomb and a Corkscrew Pescado and would get near falls but no 3 count.  Both men traded the offense for 15 minutes with no real clear cut winner.  We join now at the 15 minute mark.

HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2016 #506

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  We’re back in Phoenix and are actually seeing a nice break in the weather which is making things more enjoyable.

The show starts off back in GM Max McGillicutty’s office.  Sitting there with him are the Savior and the new US Champion Drew, the Canadian Love Machine.  Drew admonishes the Savior for his cowardly attack after he won the belt and tells Max he wants the Savior in the ring.  The Savior states he will only accept the challenge based on two stipulations.  1) the US title must be on the line and 2) he wants a ‘Canadian Brawl Games Rules’ match.  Drew accepts almost immediately.  Max has them sign the contract and that match will take place at our next show.  Max then directs both men to leave the arena and says that any interaction on these premises will result in this match being cancelled.  Both men stare at each other and then leave.

After the pyro has finished, our first match begins.  Southern Belle makes her way out to scout this match.  First, Taylor Bella makes her way out to the ring.  She is booed because the fans know it was her behind the “Tonya Harding” attack on Madame Jade.  Her opponent, Scarlet Phoenix, comes out next to a pop from the crowd.  Taylor doesn’t take to the fan favorite so she attacks her before the bell.  Scarlett fights back and then the bell rings.  The two slug it out until Madame Jade, Taylor’s former tag team partner, makes her way down to the ring towards the end of the match.  Just as Taylor was setting Scarlett up for the Bella Blast, she noticed Jade standing at ringside.  She then turned to jawjack with her and not realizing where they were with time, the bell rang signaling a time limit draw.  Taylor got mad and started kicking he ropes.  Jade got closer to the ring and Taylor began to back off.  Once Madame Jade got in the ring, Taylor jumped out and made her way to the back.  Madame Jade took the mic and said that she’s healthy once again and ready for in ring competition.  Tonight, she is challenging Ravishing Raquel to a match.  The fans pop for her as she leaves.  (20 min draw).  Southern Belle looks pleased and continues to jot down notes in her tablet.

Backstage, cousins Butch and Junior Huber states that they are getting a shot at the World Tag Team champs tonight.  Junior states that unlike the Smashers, they won’t need a manager in their corner to help them win.  Butch says that they will do family proud once they bring home the gold.

ScooterJ makes his way down to the ring.  He calls out TV champion ‘The Elitist’ Reid Rothchild saying that after he beat him, he wants a shot at the TV title.  Jerry Saunders comes out instead and tells ScooterJ that in fact HE is the next in line for a TV shot however, if he wants to try to go through him, he’s more than willing to try.  This leads to an impromptu match between the two.  TV Champion Reid Rothchild makes an appearance and goes to sit at commentary to scout the match.  5 minutes in, ScooterJ took Saunders to the outside of the ring where he repeatedly threw him into the steel steps.  He kept rolling back in the ring to break the count.  Finally, after about 3 minutes on the outside of the ring (and softened Jerry up quite a bit), he brought the action back into the ring.  Saunders got pretty softened up however he got ScooterJ locked in the Traitor Lock but made it to the ropes to break the hold.  Saunders then tossed ScooterJ out of the ring and used that time to catch his breath.  Jerry tried to bring ScooterJ back in the hard way but ScooterJ instead pulled down Jerry’s head and snapped it on the top rope.  Jerry staggered back in the ring.  ScooterJ then nailed a superkick and then hooked the tights for the 1-2-3.  ScooterJ wins yet another one.  He turns and yells at Reid that he wants his title match later tonight. Reid accepts.  (13 min)

Hardcore champion the Fiend makes an appearance and says that he will meet Dr. Red Fang in a rematch for his title but Fang will once again leave empty handed.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  First, led by Ant Graham, out comes the 5th Column – Karl Braun, Oswald Zimmerman and Baron von Blood.   They, of course, are booed pretty heavily.  Next, their opponents the team comprised of Jesse California, the Axe and Dude USA Mick Rude come out to a pretty big pop.   Graham has the 5th Column attack early but their opponents fight them off and stand in the ring while Graham regroups with his team on the outside.  Finally, they are ready for action and this one finally begins.  Dude USA starts off but for three minutes, he is secluded in the ring.  Finally, he makes the hot tag to the Axe who hurls Oswald out of the ring.  He storms back in and with chair in hand, nails the Axe with it resulting in a disqualification.  GM Max McGillicutty comes out and says that this is a cheap and crappy way for Graham to try and get out of matches so he says he will restart it and this time, makes it a no countout/DQ match.  The team led by Jesse California owned the match for the first 11 minutes of the match until he gets clocked by a brass knuckle shot from Oswald.   Oswald went for a quick pin but the Axe made the save.  Jesse recovered quickly and went after Graham.  He caught him with a standing dropkick that sent Graham flying into the crowd effectively taking him out of this match.  Meanwhile, the Axe and Dude USA were cleaning house.  Jesse asked for the hot tag and got brought back in. Karl Braun and the Baron ran over knocking both Axe and Mick Rude from the apron.  All 3 men quickly triple teamed Jesse and Oswald nailed a German suplex.  He made the cover and before Mick and the Axe realized what had happened, Jesse got pinned.  They rush back in as the 5th Column tried to continue the attack on Jesse but saved him from additional harm.  The 5th Column grabbed Ant Graham and the celebrated on their way to the back.  (4 min for first match; 15 for the second)

Backstage in the interview area, TV Champion ‘the Elitist’ Reid Rothchild is with his wife Ravishing Raquel and his manager Master Bull.  Bull reminds Reid he can’t be at ringside to help him for this match but once Reid proves his dominance, he’ll be right back at his side.  Reid said that ScooterJ did look impressive but he is not at Reid’s level and he will prove that tonight.  Raquel then steps in and says that in one short week, she will challenge the Duchess for the Ladies title and after she wins, she will be the top athlete in their division.

We head back to the ring for our next Ladies match.  Southern Belle comes out once again and she takes a mic.  She tells the fans that after this last match, she will be offering a manager contract to a lucky winner and that person will have the wealth and breadth of knowledge that Belle will bring as a manager and promises the first match they will have will be against the Ladies Champion.  Huge pop from the crowd.  Belle sits at commentary.  First, Madame Jade comes out and receives a pop.  She is then followed out by Ravishing Raquel who also receives a pop.  However, the fans change their tune once Ladies Champion the Duchess makes her way out and after passing by the ring, goes to confront Belle.  Tempers begin to flare but are quickly squashed as the two sit amicably at opposite sides of the commentary table.  Another pop from the crowd as El Gato Negro rushes down making a beeline for the Ladies Champion.  The Duchess grabs her title and takes off through the crowd.  She follows her.  Madame Jade stayed in control for almost the entire match.  It wasn’t that Raquel was looking weak, she appeared to just be biding her time.  Finally, when that time approached, Raquel opened up the floodgates.  Raquel hurled Jade into the corner and her arm connected with the steel post.  Jade tried to fight back with an uppercut but Raquel pulled Jade’s leg out from under her and put her in an ankle lock.  Jade made it to the ropes to break the hold only to be picked up and have the Ravishing Chickenwing applied to her bad arm.  Jade tried but couldn’t get out of the hold and had no choice but to tap out.  Ravishing Raquel locked up another win.  Raquel glanced at Belle briefly before leaving.  Belle went in and helped up Madame Jade and raised her good arm to get a pop from the crowd.  Belle then DROPPED her with a vicious clothesline.  She laughed as she stood over Madame Jade and then announced that she was going to manage…and then she stopped.  She dropped the mic, flipped off the crowd and then left.

The Smashers with MJ are backstage and say that tonight, they are putting the entire tag team division on notice and that they will destroy anyone who gets in the ring with them.

We head back to the ring for our next match.  Butch and ‘Mountain Man’ Junior Huber come out first and they are accompanied by their cousin Wilber Townsend. Wilber wishes his cousins best of luck and they head to the ring.  Next, the Smashers come out with their manager MJ and they block Wilber’s way.  He tries to go around but the Smashers still block his path.  Then they attack Wilber and then HURL him from the stage to the pit below.  The fans chant “Holy Shit” and the Hubers in the ring freak out.  They charge and brawl with the champs who take it back to the ring.  The Smashers controlled the first few minutes but after Ferb Huber came out and distracted MJ did the tide turn.  After walloping on the champs for a few minutes, Junior hurled Smasher #1 out of the ring.  MJ decided to cut his losses. He grabbed the champs and they headed up the ramp getting counted out.  The Huber Clan stood united in the ring as the Smashers and MJ sulked away.  However, it was their turn to be blocked as the Steel Curtain (Buzz and Starbuck Steel) came out to block their path.  The Smashers tried to muscle through but the Steel Curtain were armed with “steel” of their own in the form of steel chairs and beat down on the champs pushing them back to the ring.  They forced them back into the ring right into the waiting arms of the Huber Clan and the Clan just tore them a new one.  Finally, after hitting each of the Huber’s with a low blow, they ran and escaped through the crowd.  They kept going and didn’t turn back.  Their manager MJ, did not manage to escape and was held at bay by the Steel Curtain.  When it was apparent the champs weren’t coming back, they fed MJ to the Huber Clan and left.  The Huber’s then just laid MJ out. The Huber’s celebrated over the unconscious form of MJ before departing to the back.   (5 ½ min for the match; 15 for the segment)

Backstage, Billy Robbins calls out Handsome Hernandez and challenges him 1:1 to a match.  He dares him to face him like a man and not to hide from him or Hernandez will always be watching over his shoulder.

It’s time for our main event.  First, the challenger ScooterJ comes out to booing from the fans.  He doesn’t care.  Next, ‘The Elitist’ Reid Rothchild comes out and he looks pumped.  The two have a quick staredown in the ring and then as soon as the bell rang, we were off.  This match was nothing short of a train wreck.  ScooterJ was DESTROYING Reid and it was like Reid never bothered to even prepare for this match.  ScooterJ went for 6 pin attempts during the match but Reid kept just enough ring presence to know where he was and either kick out or make it to the ropes.  The camera cut to the back a few times focusing on Master Bull who was watching this.  He kept covering his face and mumbled “I should be out there…why didn’t I just go?”  Finally, he had enough and took off towards the ring.  He rushed down to the ring, grabbed a chair and slid it in.  He then went to try and distract the ref.  Reid and ScooterJ grabbed the chair and fought over it.  ScooterJ won the tug of war and then dropped to the mat (making it look like ScooterJ hit him with the chair).  The ref, seeing ScooterJ in possession of the chair and Reid “unconscious” on the mat, immediately disqualified ScooterJ and awarded the match to Reid.  Reid Rothchild retains his belt barely.  Reid slowly makes it to his feet and goes over to Master Bull who he shakes hands with.  Bull doesn’t let up on the grip quite fast enough and ScooterJ attacks Reid again.   Bull just stands there with a “deer in the headlights” look.  Bull then finally snaps out of it and…joins in the attack on Reid. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?  ScooterJ picks up Reid and with the direction from Master Bull, piledrives him on the chair still in the ring.  Master Bull goes over and raises the arm of ScooterJ as the show comes to an end.

Stay Tuned as there WILL be HELL to pay after what just transpired.
