HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 03.05

Hello fans.  In this issue, we actually start off with what happened after the camera stopped recording at the Colorado Springs event.   Just as the fans were getting ready to leave, out came Bobby Lashley to the biggest pop of the night.  He came out to thank the fans for coming out and he started to sign some autographs.  He was interrupted by Bully Ray who kept taunting him calling him a washed up MMAL (mixed martial arts LOSER).  Bully then attacked Lashley but out came the Mexicali Flyers for the short lived save.  Following them out were El Chango and Senor Vampiro.  All 6 men were brawling until Hulk Hogan came out.  “Whoa, whoa, whoa there BROTHERS.  The Hulkster is here and is in charge. The main man Bobby Lashley comes out and Bully Ray, you attack him.  You’re a coward, brother. Flyers and El Chango & Senor Vampiro – you are all no better.  You want to fight?  Get in that ring and sort it out.”  He turns around and yells “Hey back there, send out a ref.”  Somewhat familiar music hits and out comes…holy crap…it’s MASTER BULL in a ref shirt.  He comes down to the ring and immediately starts the match.  For the next 5 minutes, there were 4 and even sometimes all 6 men in the ring.  Master Bull could not control it so he calls for the double DQ.  Lashley then hits a flying tackle on Bully Ray sending him out of the ring.  Tornado en Fuego hits “The Tornado” on El Chango sending him flying and El Dragon Insano hits Senor Vampiro with a snap suplex right out of the ring.  The heels all yell back at the ring but then finally leave.  Bobby Lashley and the Mexicali Flyers stay at ringside to take pictures and sign autographs for the fans sending Colorado Springs home happy.
 

Our show is broadcast from Albuquerque, NM.  Master Bull comes out to start off the show.  “Hello Albuquerque.  We have a great line up for you today.  In fact, hometown hero Casey Jones will be in action.”  He pauses to give the fans the opportunity to cheer.  “Casey has been busting his ass around here so our way of saying thank you is that we are putting you in another match for the X-Division championship held by Mike “the Axe” Medley.”  Pick and the Axe then come out.  Mike is fuming.  “Hold on a sec chump.  I already beat this loser multiple times.  How many times do I have to embarrass this nothing?  He is NOT a contender for MY title.”  Master Bull jumped back in.  “You may be the champion but you do NOT determine who you will defend that title against.  In fact, my title states General Manager so I get to pick.  Now, get your sorry ass to the ring so we can get this thing moving.”  Mike and Dirk Devon stormed down to the ring.  Casey’s music hits and he comes out to a huge pop.  He high fives the fans at ringside and makes his way down.  As soon as Dirk exited the ring, he got in.

The first falls (17 min) goes to the champ who stops Casey with a forearm uppercut and makes the pin (Dirk was on the outside of the ring holding Casey’s leg).  The next fall goes a bit longer (19 minutes) and ended after Mike was thrown into the ring side steps and he was not able to make the 10 count.  The second fall goes to Casey Jones (36 minutes expired).   Master Bull came out and said that the final fall would be a lights out match.  Both men pulled out the stops; neither giving an inch.  At the 23 minute mark, Wam Bam Arsonist came down and threw a chair into the ring and Casey caught it.  He then blasted Axe with it knocking him out.  Dirk looked on in horror.  Casey made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Casey Jones is the NEW X-Division Champion.  Dirk tried to get in the ring but Casey took his title and left.  Dirk helped revive the Axe and they left together.

The next match begins and it is Brad Maddox vs. Kevin Steen.  The two men fought to a 30 minute time limit draw.  A lot of people went to take either a bathroom break or went to the concession stands.  Seems like they didn’t mind the long food lines.

 

Pick and the Axe make their way to the back and a bloody and beat up Axe storms into Master Bull’s office.  “What the F*CK!  You stupid runt.  You cost me my title.”  Master Bull quickly stood up “Listen you big crybaby.  Deal with it.”  Axe turns and blasts Master Bull with a huge power punch.  I think Bull may have seen it coming as he rolled with it.  “That’s it.  You are hereby suspended.”  Security showed up after hearing the commotion.  “Take this fool out of here.  You are hereby banned from any event we attend either backstage or a paying seat.  I do not want to see you around here until I’m ready for you to come back.  Security, take him out of here.”  Dirk Devon started to speak up but Master Bull cut him off.  “You got something to say Devon?  I can suspend you just as well AND strip you of your title.  I suggest you leave now without saying a word.”  Axe turns to Dirk “Come on man.  Do something.”  Dirk looks at Master Bull and then at Axe and then walks out without speaking.  Axe is then escorted out of the building.

We cut back to the ring for a special event.  A small stage is set up with a big sign that says “The Snake Pit”.  The host is in the ring and it is none other than Jake “the Snake” Roberts.  Roberts introduces his guests and they are the former World Tag Team Champions, the A-Team:  Antonio Cesaro, Austin Aries & Alberto Del Rio.  Jake welcomes the team.  Antonio Cesaro starts off  “It is a sham that the GM of this cesspool put us in a situation that caused us to lose our titles.  Master Bull, we will hold you 100% responsible for this despicable act.”  Austin Aries turned to Jake.  “Why are we here?  This show is pathetic losers who can’t figure out what to do with their lives.  We are the future of wrestling and we are out here on this old-timey show.”  Del Rio takes over “You, Roberts, are an ancient relic who is way past his prime.  If anyone should interviewing us, it should be by someone in our league.  Heck, any of the Diva’s on this company’s payroll could do that job.”  Antonio Cesaro got into Jake’s face “What about you old man?  You think you’re in our league?” He starts to poke Jake in the chest.  “You are nothing.  You were nothing.  You’ll never amount to anything.”  He then slapped Jake across the face. As quick as a bolt of lightning, Jake hits a DDT on Cesaro dropping him like a rock.  Alberto and Austin then jump Jake and begin to beat him down.  The beatdown happens for a minute and only ends after Alberto and Austin hit a spike piledriver on a chair on the Snake.  Jake is out and not moving.  Another familiar face comes out from the back.  It is Diamond Dallas Page.  Page runs down, grabs a chair and clears the ring.  Antonio started to come to and struggled to his feet.  Page hits a Diamond Cutter on Cesaro and he goes down again.  Page gets on the mic “You SCUM.  You attack a legend like this?  You are nothing but cowards and bullies.  You know what bullies get?  They get to feel the BANG!”  The fans pop for Page and he leaves the ring after helping the medics take Jake to the back.  By the time our next issue rolls around, we hope to have an update on Jake Roberts.

Next on the card is Mike Bennett taking on Robbie E.  In 14 minutes, Mike Bennett gets the win after locking in a headlock and used that to pin Robbie E.

 

The A-Team has made their way to the back and they pass a room that Hulk Hogan is sitting in.  “Hey Brothers, come in here for a second.  I need to talk to you.”  The A-Team look at each other and walk into Hogan’s room and close the door.

 

A quick video is shown of a new hire.  It is Rockstar Spud (formerly from TNA).  He has been signed to a new contract.  He comes out for his first match and it is against El Dragon Insano. 

 

Announce the hiring of Rockstar Spud.  His first match is against El Dragon Insano.  El Dragon was wiping the mat with Spud until El Chango and Senor Vampiro came out and distracted him.  Spud then hits a low blow and nails a DDT with his feet on the ropes to get his first win.  Before El Chango and Senor Vampiro could jump El Dragon, Tornado en Fuego came out.  Chango and Vampiro (we’ll call them VamChango from now on) backed off but had a mic in hand.  “Flyers, you have been nothing but a thorn in our sides.  We will put you out for good and in the process will take your precious titles.”  Tornado replied “There is nothing in it for us to put our titles on the line against you two candy-asses.  Put something on the line to make it worth our while.”  Vampiro answered “We will challenge you to a match where the losers will have to dress in DRAG for 3 shows leading up to Wrestlemania.  The winners of the match get to go to the PPV and defend those NJWW tag team titles.”  El Dragon quickly answered “You’re on.  Next show, wherever it is, you and us, belts and cross-dressing on the line.”  All men dropped their mic’s and eventually went their separate ways.

EY Eric Young is up next taking on 3MB member Jinder Mahal.  This was the shortest match of the night and if you sneezed, you missed it. In just 2 short minutes, Mahal gets EY to tap out to a camel clutch. 

Our second to last match has Cactus Jackie taking on Velvet Sky.  Sky comes out last and shakes Jackie’s hand upon entering the ring.  In 21 minutes, Velvet hits a snapmare dropkick and makes the cover for the 1-2-3.  Jackie is now 1-1 and still needs to win 3 of her next 4 matches in order to go to Wrestlemania.

The main event of the evening is Randy Orton defending the Intercontinental Title against Roman Reigns.  The first fall goes to Orton who gets the cheating win by rolling up Reigns and pulling on his tights (12 min).  Before the next fall could begin, out comes the remaining members of the Shield – Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.   The next fall goes to Reigns who hits the champ with a Spear and pins him clean in the middle of the ring (20 min).  Orton is yelling at the Shield to stay out of his fight.  At the 13 minute mark, Randy is setting up for the RKO when Ambrose grabs Orton’s foot causing him to stumble.  Reigns jumps in and hits Orton with a huge midsection punch doubling him over.  Reigns powerbombs him and makes the cover for the 1..2…3.  Roman Reigns has just defeated Randy Orton to become the NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 03.04

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  This show is taking place in the hometown of Bobby Lashley – Colorado Springs, Colorado.  The weather here is really funny.  One day it snows and the next day, it’s in the 60’s.  Go figure.

 

We start off with a bit of news.  It seems that former Diva’s Champion Ravishing Raquel has broken her foot in a skiing accident.  Her doctor’s say she may or may not make it back before Wrestlemania.  If that happens, we may have to find another challenger for the Diva’s title.  We will just have to wait and see.
 

In related news, “The Elitist” Reid Rothchild has really been a downer ever since losing his Elitist title.  He’s been moping around like a sad old dog.  Magnus and King Damian have been patient with him ever since his lack of participation cost them the 6 man tag team titles to the Shield.  Not having Raquel around also didn’t help.  Magnus and Sandow have said that they are getting a shot at the World Tag team titles and wanted to know if Reid would be in their corner.  He never replied; he just sat there.  They went to the ring without him.

 

The first match of the night has the A-Team defending their tag team titles against Prestige Inc’s very own King Damian Sandow and Magnus.  The first fall goes to the champs after Del Rio pinned Magnus in 29 minutes.  The second fall never happened as the 31 remaining minute time limit was hit.  The challengers were ahead on points.  Master Bull came out and said that the A-Team will meet Prestige Inc in the main event  - no time limit; one fall takes all.  Del Rio and Aries were not happy about it.

 

We cut to the back where we see Hulk Hogan talking to someone.  The camera pans around and it is the Pick and the Axe.  Dirk Devon sees the camera outside the door and then slams it shut.

 

We continue walking around backstage and run into Cactus Jackie.  She smiles and waves to the camera.  She walks around the corner and almost bumps into Ravishing Raquel who is hobbling around on crutches.  She looks like she was on her way to see Reid.  Jackie pipes up “Hey Ravishing Raquel.  Great to meet you.  I think what you have done for not only the Women’s division but the Divas also is beyond belief.”  Raquel looks at her and says “Get away from me newbie.”  She continues on her way.  Cactus Jackie looks hurt.  “Well, that wasn’t called for.”  Jackie continues on her way and runs into Master Bull.  “Hey Master Bulloney, ya see not only did I get a contract but I even won my first match.  How about them apples?”  Bull smirks at her.  “Jackie, hey, congrats on your win.  You know I was only trying to keep you protected from this business.  Its cutthroat and I just didn’t think you’d want to deal with the politics.”  “Bulloney.  You just didn’t want to give me a contract.  Plain and simple.  Oh, and I see that bitch Raquel hurt her precious foot.  I want to step up and I’ll take her shot at Fusion Valentine at Wrestlemania.”  Bull stars to laugh “You have got to be kidding me.  You win one match and you think you are ready for Wrestlemania?  No.  But I will tell you this.   You have to win 3 of your next 5 matches.  If you do and Raquel is not ready in time for her match, you can have that spot.  But if you lose 3 of the 5, guess what…you get nothing.  Now, how about THEM apples?  Oh, and crying to Hogan won’t do you any good.”  Bull walks away leaving Jackie to ponder that.

 

Next up is a man we haven’t seen in a while.  It is none other than Malo Leche de Mantequilla.  He is taking on Drew McIntyre from 3MB.  In 17 minutes, Malo Leche gets the win after hitting a dragon suplex.

We haven’t seen him since he had his loss to Reid Rothchild but Professor Cobra was up next taking on the other master of the cobra – Santino Marella.  In 22 minutes, Santino threatens Cobra with his cobra but fakes him out and hits a snap swinging neckbreaker.  After the match, Santino offered his hand to Professor Cobra but he walked away.

Out next is the Enigma Jeff Hardy taking on King Mo.  After a 21 minute hard fought victory, Jeff Hardy catches Mo in the gut with a knee and he rolls him up for the 1-2-3.

Our main event of the evening is the winner takes all match for the World Tag Team titles.  There will be no time limit and this will take place in a steel cage.  The challengers come out first but this time, they are accompanied by “The Elitist” Reid Rothchild and Ravishing Raquel.  It looks like they are on a united front.  Reid and Raquel sit at ringside while Sandow and Magnus enter the cage.  Next, the champs come out accompanied by the 3^rd member of the team Antonio Cesaro.  Cesaro threatens Reid and Raquel to stay out of it.  Aries exits the cage and goes over to talk smack to Raquel.  He starts to flaunt his “stuff” at her and Reid blasts him with a steel chair knocking him out.   Cesaro runs over and tells the ref he is taking Austin’s spot in the match.  He jumps in the cage.  The door closes and the match begins.

The rush is on to see if they can exit the cage.  Sandow makes for the door but Del Rio stops him.  He however doesn’t stop Magnus who was scaling the cage but before he could drop, Austin Aries was there threatening him with a chair.  Out of nowhere, Reid hits Aries with a spear taking him down.  Magnus drops to the floor and the bell rings.  In 19 minutes, Prestige Inc has become the NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS.  The cage lifts and Reid and Raquel get in the ring to celebrate with their teammates.  The show ends with Prestige Inc standing victorious over the A-Team.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 03.03

Hello fans and welcome back to our newsletter.  Today’s show is taped here in Denver, Colorado.  The show today begins with an interview with the team of El Chango and Senor Vampiro in their dressing room.

 

“Those Damn MF’ers” El Chango starts “they have taken things way too far this time.”  Senor Vampiro asks “What did they do now?”  “LOOK” Chango exclaims.  The camera pans to their lockers and instead of the typical wrestling gear hanging there, what we see is a little flashier.  They pull out the clothes and there they are, in all their glory, Vegas Showgirls outfits…complete with feathers.  Vampiro yells “That’s it.  I’ve had it with them.  El Chango, I want them in the ring.  I’ll tear them a new one.”  “Patience my friend” El Chango calmly says.  “They have a world tag team match taking place at Wrestlemania.  I say we challenge them for those titles but add in a stipulation.”  “What are you thinking?  It needs to be something humiliating.”  El Chango continues “They put the belts on the line and when they lose, they have to dress in drag for 3 long embarrassing shows.”  Vampiro adds in “And lose they will.  They will lose those precious titles and then Drag City, here they come.”  Both men laugh evilly as the camera fades out.

 

The show begins with World Tag team champions the A-Team coming out. It looks like all 3 members Alberto Del Rio, Austin Aries and Antonio Cesaro are on the same page once again.  The head to the ring with mic in hand.  Alberto begins.  “The A-Team is the most dominating force in all professional wrestling.”  Aries chimes in “the greatest team of all time.  No team in all of the history of wrestling can compare to us.”  Cesaro speaks up “In fact, no one wrestler is better than any of us.  We are the best that has ever been and the best that ever will be.”  Del Rio starts back up.  “There have been so called Icons, Warriors, and various vermin that think they ruled the world.  Those losers will never be where we are.”  Aries spoke up “I’ve hear that the people over in the WWE are doing their big whoop-dee-do.   They hold this farce they call a Hall of Fame and are inducting two of the biggest losers ever to grace the ring:  The Ultimate blah blah blah and Jake “I’m a loser” Roberts.  They thought they were at the top of their game; what a joke.”  Cesaro’s turn: “We are in our prime.  We destroy anyone who gets in the ring with us…”

 

They are interrupted by Master Bull who has a mic of his own.  “You three love to talk a lot of smack.  If this were 20 years ago…”  Alberto cuts him off “If this were 20 years ago, our younger selves would be kicking ass  and destroying people’s pathetic little lives.”  Master Bull starts up again.  “I’m putting you on notice…watch yourselves.  Don’t bury yourselves in a hole you can’t get out of.”  “Whatever” Aries comments.  “Hey Bull, why don’t you do something useful.  Alberto and I need to defend our Tag Team titles.  Why don’t you get us a team to go against?”  “You 3 have the night off, actually” Master Bull says.   “Go do whatever it is you do on your day off as our next event will see you defending your titles.  You’ll get to see who at that time.”  Master Bull cuts off their mics and smiles and he heads to the back.  The A-Team eventually leave the ring.

 

The pyro starts again and our event is off to a roaring start.  The first match of the night is Jay Lethal taking on John Cena.  John Cena gets the win in 14 minutes after a F-U and then a big stomp to the gut of Lethal. 

 

The next match of the evening is Gail Kim defending the Women’s title against Natalya Neidhart.  The first fall goes to the champion after Nattie gets counted out in 5 minutes.  The second fall begins and this time it is shorter than the last.  Gail locks in a dragon sleeper in 3 minutes and gets Nattie to tap out.  Gail Kim retains the Women’s title.

 

Our third match of the night is Goldust and Cody Rhodes taking on HP for ranking placement.  Casey Jones comes out with the NEW Elitist Champion Bran-Don-Goh.  In 20 minutes, Bran-Don-Goh hits Cody with the ‘said so stunner’ and gets the win.  B and Casey stay put.  All of a sudden, out comes the Pick and the Axe.  Both are showing off their respective titles.  Mike has a mic. “Casey Jones, you had to attack me in order to get yourself a title shot.  I hope you’re happy with yourself; someone who has to resort to blindsiding someone to get what they want.  You want your shot, this is your only chance.  Take it now or walk away.”  Casey tells Mike to “bring it” and we have our next match.  Dirk Devon heads with Mike to the ring but the ref immediately sends him away…much to his dismay.  The first fall goes to the champ in 19 minutes after Mike hit Casey with the Axe.  The second fall goes 22 minutes and ends after a devastating power punch is thrown by Mike knocking Casey out.  The Axe retains the X-Division title.

 

Bully Ray makes his way out to the ring.  He talks about taking out Rey Mysterio and that Mysterio’s days are over in the CSWA and HWF.  Out comes Master Bull.  Bull says that he didn’t appreciate Bully Ray taking out one of the top superstars.  Bully Ray says “Yeah so what.  You have someone else for me to beat up?  Send them on down.”  Master Bull says “Well, you know now that you mention it, I did ask a former superstar  to return to fill in the gap.”  Music hits and….holy cow….Its none other than Bobby Lashley.  Lashley has returned.  Bully Ray hops out of the ring and charges Bobby.  The two brawl until security comes out to break it up.  Lashley celebrates with the fans before leaving.

 

Next up in tag team action we have Beer Money taking on the team of Big E and Big Zeke.  The match goes 27 minutes and even though controlled by Beer Money, Roode ends up taking a spear on the outside of the ring.  Roode ends up getting counted out.  Zeke and E get the win.

 

Our second to last match of the night is for the 6 man tag team titles.  The challengers come out first and it is the Shield.  They are followed by Prestige Inc.  Reid Rothchild still looks sad since he lost his Elitist title to Bran-Don-Goh.  The first fall goes to the Shield after Ambrose hits a samoan drop on Magnus.  The challengers continued to take the fight to Prestige Inc and out of nowhere, a superkick from Seth Rollins nearly takes off the head of King Damian Sandow.  Ambrose takes out Magnus and Rollins was going to go after Reid but Reid just stood there looking sad and pathetic.  The Shield get the win and are declared the NEW 6 MAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS.

 

The main event of the night has the HWF World Champion AJ Styles defending his title against a man who was robbed of his shot but has gotten it back - Tornado en Fuego.  In 12 minutes, AJ hits a gut buster and rolls up the Tornado for the first fall.  The next fall goes to the 12 minute mark and after Tornado hits the whirlwind (throw out of ring), AJ gets counted out awarding the fall to Tornado en Fuego.  It goes to a 3^rd fall.  This one goes to 7 minutes with Tornado en Fuego owning the champion but jumping in from the audience is El Chango.  Senor Vampiro starts to walk down to the ring and distracts Tornado and the ref.  AJ hits a pele kick sending Tornado to the outside.  El Chango then pops Tornado with a chair knocking him out. El Chango then puts the Vegas showgirl headdress on Tornado and props him against the ringside barrier.  He then jumps back into the audience and disappears.  The ref gets Senor Vampiro to leave and turns to see Tornado en Fuego out cold on the floor.  He makes the count and hits 10.  Tornado en Fuego is counted out and AJ Styles retains his title.  AJ doesn’t seem happy about it but leaves.  Medics come out to help Tornado en Fuego to the back.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 03.02

Hello fans.  Well, that was a hell of an announcement of Master Bull signing Hulk Hogan but it looks like it may blow up in his face by apparently giving Hogan controlling rights.   We did see that Hogan signed his first employee and that was Cactus Jackie.  Jackie has been trying to get a contract for a month or so and Master Bull, for whatever reason, kept blocking her attempts.  One has to wonder if she promised the Hulkster something Master Bull wouldn’t.   I guess we’ll really never know. 
 

The show, taped in front of a sold out audience begins with a vignette with Master Bull, Donnie B and Jeff Meyers. 

 

Master Bull:  I don’t know what to do.  Hogan’s contract is Iron Clad and I just gave him half the flippin’ farm.

Donnie B:  We had our legal team look at it and I think Hogan’s got you by the Franks and Beans.

Master Bull:  Isn’t there anything you guys can do?

Jeff Meyers:  Unless he makes a play at ownership of the company, no.  The contract is just giving him GM and managerial rights.

Donnie B:  Bull, I’m afraid that you’re on your own.  We will continue to monitor this but when we decided to give you the GM rights, we put this ball in your court.  You’ll have to think of something.

 

Donnie B and Jeff Meyers leave but Meyers turns around and yells “Franks and Beans”.  Master Bull slumps in his chair.  “What the hell am I going to do?”
 

The pyro goes off and the show begins with Cactus Jackie making her way out. He heads to the ring and looks dressed for action.  She has a microphone.  “Hello Wyoming.”  The fans boo her…because we’re still in Utah.  She looks confused as to why she’s getting booed.  “Hey, what are you booing me for?  If you want to boo someone, go after your illustrious GM Master Bullhonky.  He’s the one who’s been blocking me from getting a wrestling contract.  If it wasn’t for the immortal Hulk Hogan, I’d still be stuck wandering around backstage.  I finally get my chance.  I’m told I get to start off the show and I wanted to do that with a bang.  I’m ready for action.”  Jackie’s opponent comes out and it’s one half of the Bella Twins – Brie Bella.

Cactus Jackie is victorious in her first outing.  He celebrates to a mixed reaction from the crowd.  She then leaves.

 

We cut to the back and see the Mexicali Flyers in their dressing room getting ready for their singles matches.  Tornado en Fuego notices that his wrestling attire was missing and was replaced with just a thong.  “He Dragon” Tornado yells.  “Looks like we’ve been hit.”  Dragon comes over and notices his gear is missing too. “Can’t believe they got us.  I guess it’s all and good that I stashed an extra set of clothes away.  I really didn’t think they had the huevos to pull this off.”  He opens his secret locker and all the clothes in there are covered in tar and feathers. “Son of a bitch”  Tornado exclaims.  “We may have to deal with these ‘gilipollas’ sooner rather than later.

 

The next match on the card has Tornado en Fuego in singles action.  He comes out in his tar and feathered outfit since there was no way in hell he was coming out in a thong.  El Chango comes out and is just laughing uncontrollably.  Tornado calls him down to the ring and El Chango obliges. 

 

The match never really gets started as Tornado jumps out of the ring and he and El Chango brawl.  The ref has no control so he just throws the match out.  Senor Vampiro comes out and joins in the beatdown but it is short lived as El Dragon Insano comes out and the Flyers turn the tables on their opponents.  Dragon gets in the ring and tells the coward Vampiro to fight him.  Not one to stand by and be called a coward, he jumps in the ring.  The two of them have a fight in the ring as Tornado and El Chango pace like caged animals on the outside.  At the 11 minute mark, Vampiro tosses Dragon from the ring into the waiting arms of El Chango.  Chango then slams El Dragon into the ringpost basically knocking him out.  The ref prevents Tornado from getting involved but he did not see the attack on his tag team partner.  The ref ends out counting El Dragon out and awards the match to Senor Vampiro.  Vampiro and Chango then trap Torando and began a beatdown.  Vampiro and El Chango put Tornado en Fuego through the Spanish announce table.  Vampiro and El Chango get in the ring and celebrate and then eventually leave.  Medics come out and tend to the Mexicali Flyers.

Our first title match of the night happens and that is Robbie E and Rob Terry challenging for the World Tag Team titles held by the A-Team.  The challengers enter the ring first followed by Alberto Del Rio and Austin Aries.  Nothing the champs could do would put the challengers down.  The Rob team took the fight to the champs and without a single fall, took them to a 60 minute time limit draw.  The champs retain their belts but Robbie E and Rob Terry will more than likely be considered for a rematch.

 

After what happened at the last show, Rey Mysterio demanded a rematch against Bully Ray for costing him his world title shot.  Mysterio tries to enter the ring by scaling to the top turnbuckle but Bully knocks him down and Rey lands hard on the floor.  Bully follows him out and nails a Bully Bomb on the exposed concrete.  He rolls back in the ring and the ref counts to 10.  Bully Ray gets the win via countout.  Medics (they are earning their salaries today) come out and take Rey out on a stretcher.

 

Our second to last match is for the Elitist title.  Bran-Don-Goh comes out first with Diva’s Champion Fusion Valentine.  Music hits and out comes Reid Rothchild accompanied by King Damian Sandow, Magnus and Ravishing Raquel.  Fusion Valentine talks smack to Raquel as she stands in the ring holding the title she won from Raquel.  Reid makes it into the ring as Fusion leaves and the bell rings.  In 16 minutes, Bran-Don-Goh hits Reid with a flying calf kick and the Elitist crumbles.  Bran-Don-Goh makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  Bran-Don-Goh has just defeated Reid for the Elitist Title.  All of a sudden, Prestige Inc jump in the ring and triple team Bran-Don-Goh.   They beat down on him for a minute.  Reid then yells he is taking his rematch right now.

 

The next fall went for 21 minutes and Bran-Don-Goh was at a disadvantage…but then again, so was Reid.  I think he was so distraught over losing his title that his heart wasn’t in it.  Prestige Inc interfered at every turn to prevent Bran-Don-Goh from going for a pin attempt.  At the 20 minute mark, the ref got tired of all of Prestige Inc’s interference and then sent them away from ringside.  This must have given Bran-Don-Goh the intestinal fortitude to battle back as he turned around and nailed the Dango Suplex.  He made the cover and got the 1-2-3.  Bran-Don-Goh is the NEW Elitist Champion!!!  Fusion Valentine joined him in the ring and they celebrated much to the delight of the fans.

 

The main event of the evening is HWF World Champion Brock Lesnar defending his title against Batista.  Brock Lesnar scored the first fall after a whopping 30 minutes.  The next round favored the champion and 15 minutes later, hits Batista with the F-5.  He makes the cover and gets the win retaining his title.  Undisputed Champion Kane runs down and he and Brock brawl in the ring as 20 people from the back come out to break it up.  That one still looks like it will be a fight for the ages.

HWF/CSWA Wrestling Newsletter 2014 – 03.01

Pre-event taped vignette. 

 

Owners Donnie B and Jeff Meyers arrive at the arena and are immediately shown to a room.  The door is closed behind them.  In the room is a TV.  On the tv it says “Turn on”.  It shows Master Bull is standing in a room talking to someone who is off camera.  “Ok, I’ve kept you under wraps now so don’t say anything as I don’t want to blow the surprise.  Just nod.  This is the contract, right?  Ok, let me sign it.”

 

We cut over to Donnie B turns to Jeff and asks “Did he read that contract?”  Jeff replies “I don’t think so.”  Donnie B continues “Uh, oh, this may not be good.  What has Bull gotten himself into?”

 

Cut to the show.

 

Hello fans and welcome to the first newsletter of March.  We are live in Orlando, FL and the show begins with more pyro than we’ve seen in the past.  I wonder if this has to do with Master Bull’s announcement.  Master Bull comes out as the pyro finishes.  “Welcome everyone to the HWF and CSWA show here live in Orlando, Florida.  Tonight’s show will be action packed but before the show begins, I have an announcement of EPIC proportions to make.  After some serious wheeling and dealing, I am proud to announce the first person to receive a Legend’s contract.  What that means is that he or she will be an ambassador to the HWF and CSWA organizations.  It is my pleasure and an honor to introduce our FIRST Legend…..”   The music from “Real American” blares through the arena and everyone is on their feet.  Master Bull finishes “HULK HOGAN!”  He then leaves the stage.

 

The noise is deafening.  Pyro is going off; spotlights are moving all over the stage.  The curtains part and its…hang on…it’s a short person version of Hulk Hogan…Mini Hogan.  Mini Hogan is on the stage flexing his muscles and doing the typical things the adult version does.  The crowd begins to boo as Mini Hogan puts his hand to his ear.  The music then stops.  Mini Hogan is confused.  Voodoo Child from Jimi Hendrix begins to blare and out comes the real deal, the Immortal Hulk Hogan.

Hogan strolls down to the ring and gets inside.  He does the classic Hogan poses (flexing, pointing, hand to the ear and the air guitar).  After about 5 minutes, the music and noise finally dies down.

Hogan has a microphone.  “Hulk Hogan is in the house, Brother.”  The fans blow up again and it takes another minute for them to calm down.  “I am here, brother, because the Hulkster wants to make another IMPACT; first it was taking the world of wrestling by storm with the birth of Hulkamania.  Then it was changing the face of how fans perceived our sport; with professional wrestling becoming a sports entertainment empire and the Hulkster taking Hollywood by storm.  Finally, it is returning back to the scene of the crime to once again turn wrestling on its ear.”  The fans go ape-shit again.  Hogan interjects “The Hulkster is here to put even MORE asses in seats, BROTHER and to bring back to the CSWA and HWF the dominating force that is HULKAMANIA.”  Hogan poses some more before finishing off with “Watcha gonna do when the Hulkster picks apart the CSWA and HWF BROTHER and HULKAMANIA runs wild on YOU????”

 

Hulk Hogan then leaves the ring with a swagger in his step.  He gets to the top of the ramp and stops and stares at Mini Hogan.  We didn’t notice it before but MH is wearing a Hogan mask.  The Hulkster walks over and yanks it off and…hang on…its none other than our very own Malo Leche de Mantiquilla.  Hulk stares him down and Malo rushes off to the back.

The event kicks off with our first match of the evening.  First out comes Jack Swagger. His opponent comes out and it’s Roman Reigns from the Shield.  Looks like he’s running solo today.  Swagger gets the upper hand early by hurling Roman into the steel steps where it looks like he’s injured his ribs.  Swagger brings him back in and locks in an abdominal stretch.  Using the ropes for leverage, Swagger gets Reigns to tap out.  Jack Swagger gets the win in just 4 minutes.

We cut to the back and see the Pick and the Axe just sitting around.  Pick turns around and sees Wam Bam Arsonist standing behind him.  “Long time no see fellas” Wam begins.  “Uh yeah, man” Dirk mumbles “it’s been awhile.”  Wam continues “So I heard you wanted to put the band back together.  Well, I just wanted to let you know in person that I would NOT be rejoining the band.  In fact, I’ve actually aligned myself with a new team.  I think you know them.” All of a sudden, HP runs in with Bran-Don-Goh pounding on Dirk Devon and Casey Jones stomping on Medley.  Dirk then hurls B into some stacked boxes and he stays down.  Mike hits Casey with the Axe and he goes down.  Pick and the Axe then walk over to Wam.  Mike starts “Well, you’ve made your bed, now leave.”  Dirk turns and looks at Mike with a confused look on his face.  “What?”  “Never mind” Mike replies.  Dirk and Mike leave while Wam goes over to check on Bran-Don-Goh and Casey Jones.
 

We head back to the ring for our first title match of the night.   The US title is on the line with the champion Sheamus taking on the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry.  Before Henry gets in the ring, he sets up a table at ringside.  He gets in the ring and as the bell sounds, Henry charges but Sheamus hits an Irish Curse back breaker and follows it up with a Celtic Cross Bomb.  Henry is up and hurls Sheamus over the top rope and he goes through the table.  Sheamus does not get back up before the 10 count so the first fall goes to Henry.  Sheamus makes it back into the ring but he is in no shape to wrestle.  The bell sounds and Henry beats him down for almost 10 minutes.  Henry then hits the World’s Strongest Slam in the middle of the ring and the ref counts 1…2…3.  Mark Henry has won the match and is the NEW US Champion.  Henry celebrates while an injured Sheamus is helped out.

 

In the back, El Chango and Senor Vampiro are preparing for their match and they notice that their ring gear is missing.  “Vampiro, my stuff is missing.  Do you have your stuff?”  Senor Vampiro replies “No, my stuff is missing too.  Hey, what is this?”  He starts rummaging through a box.  “You have got to be kidding me?”  Chango walks over and picks up what looks like a pink bunny suit.

Back in the ring, we are preparing for the next match.  Kurt Angle comes out to take on Ryback.  This was another short match.  Ryback started off on fire but as soon as Kurt knocked him out of the ring, he walked out.  A very short match with the win going to Kurt Angle.

Backstage, El Chango and Senor Vampiro are complaining about their gear missing.  Master Bull walks over “What’s the hold up?  You two are on next.”  Senor Vampiro says “Master Bull, someone stole our wrestling gear and left us this.”  He holds up a pink bunny suit (similar to the one from A Christmas Story) that had “I love Senor Vampiro” on the chest and Vampiro held up shorts and tights that said “I love El Chango”.  El Chango says “It’s those damn Mexicali Flyers, I just know it.”  Master Bull says “You know what, it really doesn’t matter. Get out to the ring…now.”

The next match begins with El Chango and Senor Vampiro making their way to the ring wearing their new outfits.  The fans are laughing and both stopped several times to tell the fans to “shut their pie holes”. They get in the ring and out comes their opponents Eric Young and Zack Ryder.

The match goes to a 30 minute time limit draw but Chango and Vampiro will KILLING them.  Neither man would not stay down for the 3 count.  After the bell rang, the camera pans to the audience and we see El Dragon Insano and Tornado en Fuego in the audience with what seems like Chango and Vampiro’s wresting outfits.  El Dragon and Tornado toss the clothes to the fans who team them to shreds.  Chango and Vampiro jump out of the ring and into the audience where they chase the Flyers away.

Tensai then comes out and heads to the ring.  He enters and picks up a microphone.  “I challenge anyone in the back to come face me in the ring for my European title.  Anyone?”  Out then comes Dirk “the Pick” Devon.  He is accompanied by X-Division champion Mike “the Axe” Medley.  “The Pick is here man and ready for competition. I challenge you Tensai.  And it will be more apropos when I take that title off you.”  Tensai replies “come on down.  Hell, I’ll even let you bring your little friend but make no mistake, I will NOT tolerate any interference.  One of you stick your noses in my business and you can kiss your precious little asses goodbye.

The first fall goes 20 minutes.  Dirk really put up a good show.  About 2/3’s into the match, the Axe removes one of the turnbuckles.  Dirk rams Tensai’s head into the exposed metal disorienting him.  The Pick hits the ropes and nails the Fender 5-Arm.  He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3.  First fall goes to Dirk.  Tensai then starts to battle back but gets tossed out of the ring.  Medley joins in the fun and they hit a double powerbomb on Tensai on the floor.  Dirk rolls back in the ring and goes to sit in the far corner.  The ref makes the count and as soon as he hits the number 10, he rings the bell signifying the end of the match.  He then raises Dirk’s arm to not only award him the match but the European title also.  Dirk and Medley stand in the ring with their singles titles while the fans boo and throw stuff at them.     

Our second to last match is Rey Mysterio taking on Bully Ray.  First, out comes Rey Mysterio and he is followed by Bully Ray.  This match will be for an upcoming title shot.  In 2 ½ minutes, Bully walks out of the match ending it in a countout win for Rey.  New music hits and it is Tornado en Fuego.  He comes down to the ring and joins Mysterio.  “Rey, I respect you and all but I was entitled to a title match.  El Chango cost me that opportunity after he forced El Dragon Insano and I out of here.  You took my title match when I wasn’t prepared for it.  I am asking you now for another shot for redemption.  You got my title shot and became champion.  I am back and now want a similar chance.  What do you say?”  Rey turns and says “Ring the bell.”  They shake hands as the match begins.
 

Bully Ray turns around and heads back to the ring.  Rey starts off with a flying dropkick.  Tornado hits a whirlwind that sends Rey to the outside.   Bully Ray then attacks Mysterio and puts him through a table.  Rey does not make it back in before the 10 count.  The countout win and future title shot are awarded to Tornado en Fuego.  Bully tries to jump in the ring but El Dragon comes out and Bully backs down and walks away. 

Our main event of the evening is for the CSWA World title.  The challenger comes out first and it is Christopher Daniels.  The champion AJ Styles follows.  Both have a brief staredown in the ring as the bell rings.  The match goes on for 18 ½ minutes and only ends after Christopher Daniels gets counted out of the ring.  AJ retains the title but it is the second time he has retained because of a countout.  Interesting.

We cut to the back for one final vignette.  It is between Master Bull and Hulk Hogan.  “Well, the Hulkster is here now and ready for action.”  “Um, Hulk, I didn’t sign you to a performer’s deal, just the Legend” Master Bull replied.  Hulk came back.  “AH, you didn’t read the contract, did you?  Well, Brother, it just so happens that you signed over to me ½ of the control here.  Heh, well, I guess the two of us will be working together for sure.”  “Hang on a sec Hulk, I did not sign any control to you.  The contract states….”  He opens it up and starts reading.  “Oh CRAP.”  Hulk continues “And as part of my new found control, I made my own executive decision on the hiring of a new face.  In fact, I think the two of you know each other.”  In walks Cactus Jackie.  She has a smirk on her face.  She doesn’t say anything but just walks over and shakes Hulk’s hand.  Hulk slaps Master Bull on the back.  “I’ll be seeing you…BROTHER.”  Hogan walks off and the camera zooms in on Master Bull.  “Oh Crap.”

 
That’s all for now.  I am sure that Hogan will be mixing things up now.  Stay Tuned.
