Hello fans. Welcome to our second PPV of the year – Night of Champions. We are honored to begin our show with the introduction of two legends from this sport – Michael PS Hayes and Kevin Von Erich. Both men come out to “Badstreet USA” blaring over the speakers. Kevin was doing a little jig walking down to the ring with Hayes. Kevin got on the mic first and thanked the fans for supporting him and his family throughout their careers. Kevin recaps about his brothers’ accomplishments and lays white roses in the ring – one for each member of his family that has passed away. Michael takes over and says that the fans here can’t compare to those from his day. The fans now only want to see “Oh Sh!t” moments and couldn’t appreciate what they did in the past – working 60 minute matches and coming back the next day for more. He then says that the fans of today are actually really smart and at least no one (in recent memory) has tried to really hurt him for beating up the beloved Von Erichs in the ring. Kevin and Michael reminisce for a couple of more minutes and then Michael says that he has an announcement to make. For one night only, Kevin and Michael will come out of retirement to face the no-good rat-skunk Negronomicon in the ring. Both men are actually looking forward to it. They thank the fans and then Kevin stops and says he gets to announce the first match of the evening. It will be HWF World Champion Christian taking on The Original Big Daddy Donnie B.
Donnie B comes to the ring first followed by Christian. Christian shows Donnie B the title and then hands it to the ref. The bell rings. Christian starts off with an inverted DDT but Donnie B hits a superplex. Christian hits a dropkick and then gets tossed out of the ring. He is back in at 7. Christian goes for the one man concerto but Donnie B gets out of the way. Donnie B is tossed out of the ring but hops back in at 2. He then hits another superplex on the champ and goes for a pin. Christian kicks out at 2. Christian hits a flapjack but Donnie B hits another superplex. Christian hits another DDT and Donnie B hits a flying dropkick. Donnie B connects with another superplex and makes the cover. The ref counts 1….2…..3. Donnie B has just defeated Christian to become the NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. Unbelievable. Christian is no longer the longest reigning champion so he does not get an immediate rematch.
Our second match on the card is MW3 taking on MVP. MVP starts off strong hitting a facebreaker knee smash. MW3 comes back with an insuguri. MW3 hits a swinging neckbreaker and MVP hits a snap scoop powerslam. MW3 then hits the MW3 driver but MVP rolls out of the ring to prevent a pin attempt. After messing around outside the ring, he eventually makes it back in. He locks in a three quarter facelock ending MW3 offensive run. MVP follows it up with a snap overhead belly to belly suplex. MW3 hits a MW2 kneelift out of nowhere and goes for the pin. MVP kicks out at 2. MW3 hits a reverse neckbreaker but MVP hits a snap scoop powerslam. MVP hits a big running boot. MVP then hits the drive by and goes for a pin but MW3 kicks out at 2. MVP hits the drive by again for another 2 count. An MW3 superkick is met by a playmaker from MVP. MVP tries to toss MW3 out of the ring but that is nullified. MW3 goes to offer friendship but kicks MVP in the groin. MVP answers with a dragon screw. MVP locks in the three quarter facelock and turns it into a pin. With his feet on the ropes, MVP gets the 1-2-3. MVP is the winner of this match.
The third match is brother vs. brother with Matt Hardy taking on his brother Jeff. This did not go long at all. In 5 minutes, Matt beat Jeff after hitting him with a flying clothesline.
The Undisputed Champion and current North American Champion Samoa Joe came out to defend the title against Mick Foley. Mick controlled the majority of the match until at the 11 minute mark, Joe tossed Mick to the outside. He followed him out and hit a muscle buster right on the steel steps. Joe rolled back in and waited for the 10 count. Mick was not able to make it back in the ring and ended up getting counted out. Joe retains the NA title.
Up next is the Super Warrior taking on Mr. Kennedy for the Cruiserweight title. As the bell rang, Kennedy jumped out of the ring and started to walk away. He was in the process of getting counted out but William Regal came out and told the ref to stop counting. Obviously Mr. Kennedy didn’t get the memo. This match is a no countout / DQ match. He needed to get back in the ring so this bout could continue. Kennedy hit the mic check right off the bat and SW never came back from it. Kennedy controlled the match and SW did very little but take the abuse and kick out of pin attempts. In 20 minutes, Kennedy gets the win after hitting an inverted superplex. Kennedy retains the Cruiserweight title.
Our first tag team match of the night is up and it is DX taking on CM Punk and Sting. HHH and CM Punk started off this match. HHH tagged out early and Michaels stayed in for the majority of the match. This match went 18 minutes and Shawn fell victim to the Shining Wizard. CM Punk and Sting are the winners of this match. It is very possible they may be getting a title match soon.
Our second tag match is the Dudley’s defending the World Tag Team titles against Cryme Tyme. In 18 minutes, the Dudley’s are victorious and retain the titles after Bubba hit a nasty bodyslam on JTG.
Next up was Fit Finley taking on the Big Show. In 8 ½ minutes, Big Show tosses Finley out of the ring and Finley is unable to make it back into the ring. Big Show gets the win via countout.
Out next comes our guest host wrestlers Michael Hayes and Kevin Von Erich. They called down the Negronomicon for the next match. Negronomicon came out and said that there was no way he was going to wrestle in a handicap match. “I’ll tell you old fogies something…one of you can get your ass kicked here tonight. I don’t care which. Flip a coin.” So they did and the winning flip goes to Michael PS Hayes. Hayes starts off with his funky strut and N bitch slaps him. Hayes locks in a grinding headlock which N reverses and hits a flying elbow. Michael then hits a boot to the gut of N. A big bodyslam from Hayes and N is screaming in pain (ala old school Eddie Gilbert). N tosses Hayes out of the ring but Kevin helps him back in and Hayes hits the Hot’lanta suplex and goes for a pin but N kicks out at 2. N hits a flying elbow. Hayes hits a freefall legdrop and goes for a pin but N kicks out. Hayes hits a bodyslam and N kicks him in the gut. Hayes goes to the ropes and doesn’t do anything so N hits him with a flying elbow. Another bodyslam from Hayes and N hits a dragon suplex. N goes for the gutbusta suplex off the ropes but Hayes nullifies it. Hayes hits another freefall legdrop but just gets a 2 count. Hayes lands a fist drop and goes for a pin but N kicks out. N hits a snap suplex and goes for a pin but the slow count ref only gives him 2. N hits the black doom and goes for the pin but Kevin Von Erich pulls the ref out. What the heck? Kevin gets in the ring and rocks N with some discuss punches and then locks in the CLAW. N is screaming in pain and trying to tap out but there is no ref. Kevin gets out of the ring and helps the ref back in apologizing for what he did. Hayes hits a Grits Smash and goes for a cover. With some pulling of the tights and his feet on the ropes, he gets the 1-2-3. Michael Hayes (with an assist from Kevin Von Erich) gets the win. Hayes starts going on about how he did it all alone and this ticks off Kevin. Kevin then discuss punches Hayes and puts the Claw on him. Hayes is screaming in the ring and taps out. The ref, clueless as to what is going on, rings the bell again and raises Kevin’s hand in victory. Hayes and Von Erich leave separately.
Next up is Batista taking on Kurt Angle. This match goes 12 minutes and in the end, the power of Batista is just too much for the former Olympic hero and Kurt fails to kick out after a devastating Batista Bomb.
CSWA World Champion Booker T is out next taking on Chris Jericho. In 18 minutes of serious ass kicking, Booker T gets the win and will go on to meet HWF World Champion Donnie B to see who will meet Samoa Joe at the end of the night.
AJ Styles is up next defending his newly won X-Division title against the Kraken. Styles starts off with a armlock facebuster but Kraken hits a piledriver. AJ then tosses the Kraken to the outside but he is back in at 8. Styles hits a flying dropkick. Styles hits a spin kick and Kraken tosses him to the outside. AJ is back in at 7. AJ hits a gutbuster and then goes for a pin but Kraken kicks out. The Kraken then tosses AJ into the corner. He follows him in and tries to kick AJ in the groin but AJ reverses it and hits a spin kick. He goes for a pin but only gets a 2 count. AJ hits another gut buster but Kraken tosses him to the outside. He is back in by 8. AJ tosses the Kraken out but he is back in at 7 and locks in a figure four leglock. AJ doesn’t tap. AJ hits another gut buster and goes for a pin and a 2 count. AJ hits a spin kick and goes for a pin and gets a 2 count. The Kraken locks in a headlock but AJ hits the Styles’ Clash but the Kraken is close to the ropes so there is only a 1 count. They go back and forth and eventually AJ hits a Style’s Clash and gets the 1-2-3. AJ retains the X-division title.
CSWA TV Champ John Cena is out to defend the title against the former title holder Ted Dibiasi Jr. This one goes 11 minutes and after leaving a boot imprint on the face of Ted, Cena makes the cover and gets the win. Cena retains the TV title.
Next is the battle of the World Champions. HWF Champ Donnie B is taking on CSWA Booker T. In the shortest match of the night, Booker hits a spinning smash but Donnie B tosses Booker out of the ring. DB handcuffs Booker to the ringside post. Booker is freaking out. Donnie B ends up with the win via countout and will go on to meet Samoa Joe for the Undisputed Championship.
CSWA US Champion Bobby Lashley is up next against Edge. This one goes 18 minutes and in the third biggest shocker of the night, Edge defeats Bobby Lashley to win the US title. Lashley, the longest reigning champion, demands a rematch. Edge tries to refuse but William Regal comes out and makes the match. In 4 minutes, Edge ends up getting counted out and Lashley wins via CO but doesn’t win the title. Lashley was a tad upset here and demanded Regal come out to clear it up. Regal came out and agreed with Lashley that Edge took a shortcut and it would not fly. He said that Lashley and Edge will meet again but this time in a steel cage. In a brutal and bloody 18 minute battle, Lashley pins Edge with a football tackle into the cage wall. Bobby then climbs out of the ring and is declared the winner of the match and once again, the US Champion.
Our second to last match is the Undertaker taking on Randy Orton for the Intercontinental title. Regal came out before the match began and said that he didn’t want what happened earlier to happen in this match so this match and the final one of the night would all be steel cage matches. In 16 minutes, Randy puts the Undertaker down with an RKO that followed a catapult into the cage wall. Randy then made for the door and made it out becoming the new HWF Intercontinental Champion.
The Undertaker then demanded his rematch immediately. As soon as the bell rang, a masked person ran down to the ring and threw in a chain to the Undertaker. Taker then choked the holy hell out of Orton. He then chained Orton to the cage wall. Undertaker then nailed a big boot. He then climbed over the cage wall and a trapped Orton had nowhere to go. Undertaker regains the IC title in 3 minutes with the escape out of the cage.
The final match of the night is for the Undisputed Championship held by Samoa Joe taking on The Original Big Daddy Donnie B. Joe immediately goes to the top of the cage and hits a flying double elbow to the groin. Donnie B is not moving. Joe makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3. He then walks out of the cage and is declared the winner of the match and still the Undisputed Champion at the 1 minute mark.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 2.5
Hello fans. We have more updates to pass along so let’s get started.
HWF News:
In his first title defense, the Kraken took on Bubba Ray Dudley with the North American title on the line. The champ showed some great resilience here in keeping up with a guy twice his size. In 8 ½ minutes, the Kraken retains the belt with a count out win over Bubba.
Next up is Santino defending his X-division title against Stevie Richards. In 12 minutes, Santino gets the win over Stevie after Richards was unable to make it back in the ring before being counted out.
Santino stayed in the ring and called back down the Kraken demanding his North American title shot. In 14 minutes, the Kraken is successful in defending his championship after pinning Santino with a piledriver.
Next up is the Undertaker taking on “The Original Big Daddy” Donnie B for the Intercontinental title. The Undertaker retained the title but not without outside interference from Randy Orton. At the 7 minute mark, Randy came down and knocked Donnie B out with a steel chair shot to the head. Undertaker then followed it up with the Last Ride.
Randy Orton says he deserves a shot at the Undertaker but he is not in the top 10. Orton says that he then will challenge The Great Khali for his shot. Khali comes down and the match begins. In 16 minutes, Randy, with some trunk pulling, gets the pin over the oversized opponent. Randy is now in line for a title shot.
Christian then came out and said he was treating the fans here to a match for the title. He said that his opponent is none other than the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe. It didn’t take long – 2 minutes actually – for the Undisputed Champion to get himself counted out.
CSWA news:
Mr. Kennedy was first to start off the CSWA show. He was defending the title against MW3. In 13 minutes, Kennedy gets the win by countout after MW3 was unable to beat the 10 count.
Ted Dibiasi was up next defending the TV title against John Morrison. In 6 minutes and with the help of his dad’s loaded glove, Ted gets the win and retains the TV title.
The US title is on the line next with the undefeated Bobby Lashley taking on Rey Mysterio. The match went 18 minutes and in what seems to be a running theme, Bobby wins the match via countout.
Booker T had regained the World title and now had to take on DX’s Shawn Michaels. Shawn controlled the match and set the pace. Booker just couldn’t keep up so he did what he had to in order to protect his title – he got himself counted out. Michaels gets a win and is told he will get a future title shot.
Day 2 results:
It was announced at this show that the next PPV, Night of Champions in Oakland, CA would be held live on February 14th.
In the HWF, Kurt Angle challenged Carlito for his shot at the world title. In 4 minutes, Kurt gets Carlito to tap out to an ankle lock. Kurt was in the ring celebrating when out came AJ Styles. AJ had a mic. He thanked Kurt for giving him the world title shot. Angle yelled back that he is done and will no longer give title shots to AJ. Styles reminded him that until mid march, any title shot Angle gets immediately goes to AJ. That is the contract Kurt signed. Now, AJ says that he will put this match on the line as well as all future title shots (that he would win from Angle) and would let Angle out of his contract if they wanted to have one more match. But here is the stickler: If Angle loses, he tacks on another month of payback. Angle jumped at the chance to get out of this. Regal came out and said that with all this riding on a match, it needs to be a good one. Up next is Angle vs. Styles in a dog collar match.
In 19 minutes, after beating each other senseless with the dog collar chain, Kurt Angle weasels out of his contract after he nailed an Angle Slam on the chain. Kurt is now in line for a title shot and no longer owes AJ any more matches.
AJ wanted some consolation so he called out Santino for his X-division title shot. In 18 minutes, AJ locks in a reverse STF and turns it into a pin to become the NEW X-Division champion.
The Kraken came out next to defend the North American title against the Undisputed Champion Samoa Joe. In 19 minutes, the Kraken was not able to keep up with the sheer bulk of Joe and dropped the NA title to him. Samoa Joe is now the New North American Champion.
Randy Orton came out next and called down the Undertaker. Undertaker, never one to just go with the flow, pinned Randy in 13 minutes after a devastating tombstone piledriver.
Christian vs. Kurt Angle was the last match of the HWF card. It only took 4 minutes (and outside distractions from AJ Styles) to allow Christian to get the win over Kurt and retain the World title.
CSWA news
Over in the CSWA, the Kraken, sore from losing the HWF NA title, he challenged the Super Warrior to a match for his spot at the Cruiserweight title. In 14 minutes, the Kraken gets the win via countout over the Super Warrior. He now assumes the next title shot. He immediately calls down Mr. Kennedy and demands his title shot. Mr. Kennedy gets the win and retains his title in 13 minutes.
Bobby Lashley came out to defend the US title against the Kraken. In 2 minutes, the Kraken gets counted out. Bobby is going to the ppv still undefeated.
In a PPV qualifying match, MW3 took on Edge. The winner of the match gets a shot at US Champion Bobby Lashley. Edge beats MW3 with a one-man concerto. Edge will get a shot at Lashley at the PPV.

In an HWF PPV qualifying match, Big Show took on Randy Orton. In 12 minutes, Randy gets the win with an RKO and will go on to meet the Undertaker at the PPV for the IC title.
In another qualifying match, the Kraken challenged Mick Foley to see who would be going to the PPV to meet Samoa Joe for the North American title. With a swift kick to the groin, Mick gets the win and receives the title shot at the ppv.
Still sore from the previous loses, the Kraken challenges Donnie B for his title shot at the X-Division title. At the 30 minute mark, after being beaten from pillar to post, the Kraken manages to sneak out a win via countout over Donnie B. The Kraken is now going to the PPV.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 2.4
Hello, we are back with more HWF news. Randy Orton came out and challenged AJ Styles for his world title spot. AJ accepted. In 23 minutes, AJ retained his spot by defeating Randy Orton with a Styles Clash.
Donnie B was up next for his North American title shot against Mick Foley. Foley begins with a kick to the groin but DB hits a flying dropkick. DB hits another dropkick but then is tossed out of the ring. He makes it back in by 4. Foley hits DB with a chair but DB tosses Mick outside the ring. Mick is back in at 4. Another groin kick from Foley is met with a DDT from DB. It’s Donnie B’s turn to hit Mick with a chair but is then tossed out of the ring. He easily makes it back in. Foley then gets in some offense until Donnie B hits a Lights Out Brainbuster. DB makes the cover and somehow gets the 1-2-3. Donnie B is the NEW NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION!!!! Let the celebration begin!!!!
Next up is the Undertaker taking on Christopher Daniels. In 7 minutes, Undertaker gets the win when Chris Daniels is counted out of the ring.

After the bell rang, Orton hit the ring and RKO’d Styles. He grabbed the title and held it over his head. He said that the next time you see him after a match, it will be him posing with the World title he’d won.
In the back, Christian attacked Randy and brawled throughout the corridors until they made it out to the ring. Regal came out and told them to cease immediately. Randy was going to have to wrestle now if he wanted his title shot. Randy attacked Christian before he could stand and the bell rang.
Christian started off with a One Man concerto and Randy hit a flying dropkick. Orton is then tossed out of the ring but gets back in at 4. Christian tosses him outside again but he sneaks back in behind Christian and hits an RKO. Randy makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3. Randy Orton has just regained the World Heavyweight title. Of course, Christian is the longest reigning champion and immediately demands his rematch. Before Orton could decline, Regal came out and made it official – this time in a steel cage.
The rematch went 14 minutes and both men got bloodied early on. Both men hit their signature moves but just couldn’t get the pin. At the 14 minute mark, Christian hit the Unprettier and got the pin but then had to escape the cage. Christian went over the top but then got tied up as he tried to go over. Orton went to the door and as he got the door opened, Donnie B comes out of nowhere and slams the door in his face. Randy goes flying back into the cage. Christian frees himself and drops to the floor. Christian has regained the World title. Orton is livid.
Donnie B remains down at the ring as his opponent comes down. It is none other than The Kraken. Kraken locks in a sleeperhold early but DB makes it to the ropes. Donnie B hits a DDT and the Kraken goes down. Kraken hits a kick to the groin but DB hits the Lights Out Brainbuster. Kraken kicks out at 2. Donnie B hits Kraken with a chair but Kraken locks in the Kraken Crush but DB makes it to the ropes. Both men battle back and forth with no one really getting an advantage. The Kraken then tosses DB out of the ring and while the ref is admonishing him, Orton jumps in from the crowd and clips DB’s leg. He then hits it with a chair. He tosses DB back in the ring. The Kraken locks in a figure four leglock and in the midst of howling in pain, he taps out. The Kraken has just won the North American Championship.
We also then have the World tag team titles on the line with the Dudleys defending the belts against Chris Jericho and Edge. This bout went 28 minutes with the challengers really taking it to the champs. Both teams went for numerous pin attempts but their partners always made the save. In the final minutes of the match, Edge is double teamed for 3 minutes straight but somehow he made the tag. Edge then fell off the ring unable to stand. The Dudley’s then executed the “Whassaaaapppp?” headbutt and pinned Chris to retain the tag team titles.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 2.3
Welcome back fans. We are finally up to date on the HWF info so we will jump right into it. Our special host wrestlers for the night are Verne Gagne and Larry Hennig. Obviously both men are well beyond getting into a ring so they said that at the end of the night, they would have a special surprise for the Negronomicon.
Since Donnie B won his match against Cody, he called out the new X-Division champion Santino. The match didn’t go very long as Santino got counted out after only 5 minutes of action. Regal came out and said that Donnie B will indeed get a rematch soon.
Next, the North American champ Batista came out and basically did the same thing that Steiner did except for the retirement clause. In what was only 4 minutes long, Batista fell victim to the Bang Bang Piledriver and lost the championship. Foley is the NEW North American champion.
I would have to go on record to say that this is the night Donnie B pulled out all the stops. In fact, he said that he wanted to issue a challenge to AJ Styles for his shot at the IC title. AJ accepted. It only took 10 minutes for the phenomenal one to take down Donnie B and he did it with a spin kick. AJ then called out the Undertaker for his title match. Donnie B left as the deadman’s music played. It only took the Undertaker 4 minutes to get AJ trapped in a triangle choke and get him to tap out. The Undertaker retains the IC title.
HWF World Champion Christian came out. He then told the fans that he heard someone in the back talking smack about how he came out victorious in the Texas Holdem Tournament. That person who was talking smack was Donnie B. Christian called him out and said that if he wanted to talk more smack, he could do it right now in the ring. He was granting Donnie B his shot at the World title now. Donnie B came down and accepted his match.
Donnie B starts off the match by hitting the lights out brainbuster. He went for a pin but got a two count. Christian came back and hit a springboard plancha. Christian then hit a tornado DDT but before DB collapsed, he tossed Christian to the outside of the ring. Fit Finley ran down and knocked Christian out. He then hightailed it to the back and Christian ends up getting counted out. Donnie B wins the match but not the title. In the back, Regal informed Donnie B that he would get a rematch against the World Champion.
Chris Masters was in the back and was approached by the Negronomicon. N started talking trash about how Donnie B couldn’t seem to win a match. Masters said no disrespect but he knew that bad things were following the Negronomicon around and didn’t want to get into harms way. Donnie B sees them talking and challenges Masters to a match for the IC title. Masters tried to get out of it but no luck.
In 19 minutes, Donnie B defeats Chris Masters with a flying dropkick. Masters is out of the title contention and Donnie B is on another list. He is on fire.
The Kraken challenged CM Punk for his shot at the North American title. In 6 minutes, the Kraken gets a win over CM Punk by countout. Punk just decided he didn’t want to wrestle at all tonight so even though his title shot was on the line, he apparently didn’t care too much.
Abyss then came out and said that he was tired of the Undertaker ducking him. He wanted his title match right now. In 13 minutes, the Undertaker cleaned house and took down the monster Abyss. Not sure if he even broke a sweat.
After Christian was cleared by the doctors, he immediately called out Fit Finley. Finley came out but said that he would only wrestle right now if this would be a Belfast Brawl match. Christian agreed. It was a 22 minute slobberknocker. Both men really took it to each other and beat them from pillar to post. Christian was able to finally get the win after connecting with an falling inverted ddt.
Verne and Larry came out and called out the Negronomicon. N came out and didn’t look too pleased. He was told that since they were in Texas, they wanted to bring in a old school hometown boy. Music plays and out comes…….Stan The Lariat Hansen. Wow. He sure looks mean. N wasn’t paying attention but as soon as he saw Hansen, I think he about wet himself. Hansen attacks Negronomicon and rakes his face with his boot. N battles back and hits a doom bomb. An earthshattering elbow smash from the Lariat and N collapses like a ton of bricks. Hansen tries to go to the ropes but N catches him and hits a doom bomb. N tries for a thrust kick but it is reversed by Hansen who tries for another elbow smash but N nullifies it. Hansen locks in a Brazos Backbreaker but N makes it to the ropes. Hansen battles back and hits a rodeo neck smash and follows it up with an el paso piledriver. Hansen makes the cover and N doesn’t even try to move. Hansen gets the 1-2-3 and as soon as Hansen gets up, N jumps up and hits a Black Doom on the Lariat. He celebrates but then is interrupted by Verne and Larry. N shoves Gagne down and Larry hits N with an Axe Smash. N bails out of the ring swearing under his breath. Hennig helps Gagne to his feet and the show goes off the air.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 2.2
Hello fans. Welcome back. We are still waiting on the HWF results so those are expected to come in the next newsletter. We do have one piece of information though. Scott Steiner came out and said he was tired of sitting around and wanted to wrestle. William Regal came out and said that if Scott was looking for opponents, then tonight would be the night. Regal says that Steiner will get to wrestle until he defeats all the opponents in his top 10 or he loses the belt. He says that if he loses the belt, he’ll retire.
The first match is against Jay Lethal. It took about 10 minutes for Steiner to defeat Lethal with a Frankensteiner.
Steiner then did some push ups in the ring as he waited for his next opponent – CM Punk. Punk came out and lasted 12 minutes against the genetic freak but ended up getting pinned after being locked in a Steiner Recliner.
The third opponent was Santino Marella. Steiner had himself a good laugh as Santino sauntered his way down to the ring. This match went 15 minutes with the challenger staying right in line with the champ. Neither man went for a pin until the 15 minute mark when Santino nailed a snap swinging neckbreaker and with a rollup and a handful of tights, he gets the 1-2-3. Santino is the NEW X-Division Champion. William Regal came out and reminded Steiner that he said he would retire if he lost the belt. Regal said that “just in case you forgot, you are now retired. Have a good day.” Steiner left in a huff.
Donnie B then came down to challenge Cody Rhodes for his spot for the X-Division title. In 10 minutes, Cody is counted out giving Donnie B the win and the next title shot at the X-Division title.
Hopefully all the rest of the HWF results will be compiled by tomorrow so we can get that posted for you.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 2.1
Hello fans. This newsletter is being written from our temporary home in Peoria, AZ. We would like to hope that we are set up in our new headquarters by sometime in March. Hopefully everything will work out and you shouldn’t see (much of any) delays in the posting of this newsletter. With all of that now out of the way, let’s get on with the news.
The last newsletter recapped the company wide Texas Holdem tournament with HWF World Champion Christian coming out as the first ever winner. It had been decided between Donnie B and Jeffrey Meyers that this poker tournament would be held every couple of months. The next one will most likely take place right after Wrestlemania. There was such a surge in popularity after the first one is that instead of 6 add-ons, there will be 30 people invited. As of right now, the guest list looks like this: Sting, Abdullah the Butcher (home town favorite – Be sure to check out his restaurant Abdullah the Butchers House of Ribs and Chinese food – cheap plug), Baron Von Raschke, Mr. Bob Backlund, the Fabulous Moolah, Iron Mike Sharpe, Boris Zuchoff, Col. Debeers, Magnum TA, Dick Murdoch, Dick Slater, Ivan Putski, Jake Roberts, Jerry Lawler, Kendo Nagasaki, Kevin Von Erich, Larry Zybisco, Bret Hart, Mil Mascaras, Mongolian Stomper, Nick Bockwinkle, Nikita Koloff, Ivan Koloff, Paul Orndorff, Randy Savage, Rick Martel, Road Warrior Animal, Roddy Piper, Ronnie Garvin, SD Jones. If someone else is not able to make it, Tommy Rich and Michael Hayes will be standing by.
CSWA House Show #1
The titles were defended and the first to be discussed is the Cruiserweight title held by Mr. Ken Kennedy. In what is his fourth title defense, he took on Chavo Guerrero jr. In what went 19 whole minutes, Kennedy was successful in retaining his title by pinning Chavo after connecting with an inverted superplex.
The next match on the card is Ted Dibiasi jr. defending the TV title against the Super Warrior. Dibiasi is currently tied with Hogan as holding the title now for 2 successful defenses. The Super Warrior came out first to a surprising amount of booing. Dibiasi appeared to be the favorite for this match. Ted starts off by locking in the Million Dollar Dream but SW nullifies it. For that, Ted gives SW an eye gouge. SW delivers a power punch but Ted pulls out Maggie (Dad’s old loaded glove) and nails SW with it going for a pin but only gets a 1 count. SW powers back and hits a cobra clutch. Ted nails SW again with Maggie for another 1 count. Ted stands on SW’s throat while SW comes back and hits another cobra clutch. Ted connects with another eye gouge and SW tosses him out of the ring but he is back in in 5. SW hits a one armed chokeslam but Ted hits the Million Dollar Dream for a 2 count. Ted then hits SW with a chair, goes for a pin but still only gets a 2 count. A dropkick from Ted is met with a Wayner Stomp from SW. A reverse neckbreaker from SW is reversed and Ted hits SW again with the loaded glove but still only gets a 2 count. SW tries to hit a cobra clutch but it is reversed and Ted stands on the throat of SW. He goes for a pin but SW kicks out again. Ted stands on SW’s throat again , goes for the pin but this time only gets a 1 count. SW really appears to be out of it. Ted picks him up, hits him again with the loaded glove and makes the cover but this time gets the 1…2…3. Ted Dibiasi retains the TV title and is now the longest reigning TV champion this year.
Bobby Lashley was up next defending the US title against MVP. In another 19 minute match, Bobby is successful in retaining the US title by pinning MVP with a full nelson lift and slam.
MW3 issued a challenge to Shad for his shot at the TV title. In 26 minutes, Shad retains his spot after giving all of MW3’s possessions to the crowd and he just gave up.
Not to be counted out yet, MW3 remained in the ring and challenged Elijah Burke for his shot at the Cruiserweight title. This match went only 5 minutes as both men spent more time tossing each other out of the ring than they did fighting in the ring. At the 5 minute mark, both men were brawling on the outside and MW3 threw Burke into the steel steps. MW3 rolled back in just as the ref counted to 10 declaring MW3 the winner of the match. Of course, Burke didn’t like this so he immediately asked for a rematch. MW3 obliged but said this would need to be a no-countout match. In 14 minutes, Burke regains his title shot after pinning MW3 with a scissored armbar. Now it was MW3’s turn to feel ripped off so before he could make a challenge, William Regal came out. Regal asked the crowd if they wanted to see a 3rd match up between these two. The crowd answered “Yes”. Regal said fine but this would need to be a specialty match. He was making the match a Boot Camp match. The winner gains a title shot at the Cruiserweight title and the lose could no longer challenge this opponent for any future shots. Both men agreed.
This time it went a whole 17 minutes with MW3 controlling the entire match. Burke was the only one who went to the Boot Camp but MW3 was there controlling everything. Burke’s move was nullified with an MW2 kneelift. The end came when MW3 got a pin after executing a reverse neckbreaker. MW3 is now #9 for the Cruiserweight title.
CSWA House Show #2
The show began with the Super Warrior issuing a challenge to Golddust for his title shot. In 15 minutes, Super Warrior gets the win after hitting Golddust with a one armed choke slam. SW is back in the title picture,
After this match, Mr. Kennedy came out for his match. He mockingly congratulated the Super Warrior on his win and told him that it really didn’t matter as he would still beat him when it came to defending the Cruiserweight title. Mr. Kennedy’s opponent for tonight is the Kraken. Kennedy started off with a spike DDT on the Kraken. The Kraken got up and went for a piledriver but that was nullified. Kraken manages to lock in a sleeperhold but Kennedy makes it to the ropes. Kennedy hits an eye rake but Kraken locks in a figure four leglock. Kennedy makes it to the ropes again. Kennedy hits the Kraken with a knee lift. Kennedy hits a forward Russian legsweep and Kraken hits the Kraken Crush but no submission attempt. Kennedy hits an inverted superplex and Kraken nails him with a chair. The Kraken then tosses Kennedy out of the ring where he just walks away. The Kraken wins the match but not the title. William Regal comes out and says that Kraken will receive a future title shot.
TV Champ Ted Dibiasi was up next against Shad. In two minutes, Shad gets Dibiasi to tap out to become the NEW TV Champion. Of course, Dibiasi is the longest reigning champion and demands a rematch. This of course brings out Hulk “TNA” Hogan who says that he never got his rematch so he wants it now. This brings Regal out again and says that Hogan and Dibiasi will meet now “in that very ring” to determine who gets the immediate shot at Shad. The loser will gain a shot afterwards.
In 3 minutes, after controlling the match, Hogan is counted out giving the match and the immediate title shot to Ted Dibiasi. Dibiasi ended up handcuffing Hogan to the outside of the ring and that is how he was counted out.
Regal interrupts and says that this will be a no DQ match. In 8 minutes and a shot from a loaded glove, Ted Dibiasi gets the win and is once again the TV champion. Dibiasi says he will offer Shad a rematch right now. If Dibiasi wins though, Shad’s win is stricken from the record. Shad agrees. In 10 minutes, after a nasty eye gouge, Ted gets the pin. Shad’s title win is now stricken from the record and Ted is back to being the longest reigning TV champion.
Edge issues a challenge to Shawn Michaels for the World title shot. Edge hits a DDT but before he can go for the pin, Michaels tosses him to the outside where he lands badly. Shawn gets up but Edge is not able to get back in to the ring so Shawn retains his spot in 60 seconds by countout.
Chris Jericho then comes out and challenges Edge for his US title shot. Edge still looks to be in pain but he has to accept the match. Edge managed to hold his own and even take the lead during this match but it basically ended up the same way as the previous match. At the 14 minute mark, Edge nails a DDT in the ring but Jericho tosses Edge over the top rope and it appears he injures himself in the process. Edge is counted out and Jericho now gets the US title shot.
Chris then called out US Champion Bobby Lashley and wanted his title match. This one only went for 4 minutes. Just before the 4 minute mark, Bobby tosses Chris out of the ring and then Edge runs down and hits Chris with a Spear. He then leaves before the ref can see and ends up getting counted out. Bobby Lashley wins the match by countout.
Jericho then demanded that Edge come back out and fight him like a man instead of cowering in the back. Edge came out with William Regal. Edge told Regal that he really didn’t have to fight Jericho but if Chris wants this fight, then Jericho’s world title shot needs to be put on the line. Regal agrees and Jericho is not happy. Chris is told that if he wants Edge, “right here and right now”, then he must put his world title shot on the line. Jericho reluctlantly agrees but says it needs to be a no DQ match as he doesn’t want Edge running off or finding any excuses as to why he loses all the time. Regal agreed and told Edge to get to the ring for their match.

Both men stayed fairly even but Chris finally got Edge in the middle of the ring and locked in the Walls again. With a bit of help from holding the ropes (and staying out of sight from the ref), Chris was able to make Edge tap out. Chris Jericho retains his title shot.

The last newsletter recapped the company wide Texas Holdem tournament with HWF World Champion Christian coming out as the first ever winner. It had been decided between Donnie B and Jeffrey Meyers that this poker tournament would be held every couple of months. The next one will most likely take place right after Wrestlemania. There was such a surge in popularity after the first one is that instead of 6 add-ons, there will be 30 people invited. As of right now, the guest list looks like this: Sting, Abdullah the Butcher (home town favorite – Be sure to check out his restaurant Abdullah the Butchers House of Ribs and Chinese food – cheap plug), Baron Von Raschke, Mr. Bob Backlund, the Fabulous Moolah, Iron Mike Sharpe, Boris Zuchoff, Col. Debeers, Magnum TA, Dick Murdoch, Dick Slater, Ivan Putski, Jake Roberts, Jerry Lawler, Kendo Nagasaki, Kevin Von Erich, Larry Zybisco, Bret Hart, Mil Mascaras, Mongolian Stomper, Nick Bockwinkle, Nikita Koloff, Ivan Koloff, Paul Orndorff, Randy Savage, Rick Martel, Road Warrior Animal, Roddy Piper, Ronnie Garvin, SD Jones. If someone else is not able to make it, Tommy Rich and Michael Hayes will be standing by.
CSWA House Show #1
The titles were defended and the first to be discussed is the Cruiserweight title held by Mr. Ken Kennedy. In what is his fourth title defense, he took on Chavo Guerrero jr. In what went 19 whole minutes, Kennedy was successful in retaining his title by pinning Chavo after connecting with an inverted superplex.
The next match on the card is Ted Dibiasi jr. defending the TV title against the Super Warrior. Dibiasi is currently tied with Hogan as holding the title now for 2 successful defenses. The Super Warrior came out first to a surprising amount of booing. Dibiasi appeared to be the favorite for this match. Ted starts off by locking in the Million Dollar Dream but SW nullifies it. For that, Ted gives SW an eye gouge. SW delivers a power punch but Ted pulls out Maggie (Dad’s old loaded glove) and nails SW with it going for a pin but only gets a 1 count. SW powers back and hits a cobra clutch. Ted nails SW again with Maggie for another 1 count. Ted stands on SW’s throat while SW comes back and hits another cobra clutch. Ted connects with another eye gouge and SW tosses him out of the ring but he is back in in 5. SW hits a one armed chokeslam but Ted hits the Million Dollar Dream for a 2 count. Ted then hits SW with a chair, goes for a pin but still only gets a 2 count. A dropkick from Ted is met with a Wayner Stomp from SW. A reverse neckbreaker from SW is reversed and Ted hits SW again with the loaded glove but still only gets a 2 count. SW tries to hit a cobra clutch but it is reversed and Ted stands on the throat of SW. He goes for a pin but SW kicks out again. Ted stands on SW’s throat again , goes for the pin but this time only gets a 1 count. SW really appears to be out of it. Ted picks him up, hits him again with the loaded glove and makes the cover but this time gets the 1…2…3. Ted Dibiasi retains the TV title and is now the longest reigning TV champion this year.
Bobby Lashley was up next defending the US title against MVP. In another 19 minute match, Bobby is successful in retaining the US title by pinning MVP with a full nelson lift and slam.
MW3 issued a challenge to Shad for his shot at the TV title. In 26 minutes, Shad retains his spot after giving all of MW3’s possessions to the crowd and he just gave up.
Not to be counted out yet, MW3 remained in the ring and challenged Elijah Burke for his shot at the Cruiserweight title. This match went only 5 minutes as both men spent more time tossing each other out of the ring than they did fighting in the ring. At the 5 minute mark, both men were brawling on the outside and MW3 threw Burke into the steel steps. MW3 rolled back in just as the ref counted to 10 declaring MW3 the winner of the match. Of course, Burke didn’t like this so he immediately asked for a rematch. MW3 obliged but said this would need to be a no-countout match. In 14 minutes, Burke regains his title shot after pinning MW3 with a scissored armbar. Now it was MW3’s turn to feel ripped off so before he could make a challenge, William Regal came out. Regal asked the crowd if they wanted to see a 3rd match up between these two. The crowd answered “Yes”. Regal said fine but this would need to be a specialty match. He was making the match a Boot Camp match. The winner gains a title shot at the Cruiserweight title and the lose could no longer challenge this opponent for any future shots. Both men agreed.
This time it went a whole 17 minutes with MW3 controlling the entire match. Burke was the only one who went to the Boot Camp but MW3 was there controlling everything. Burke’s move was nullified with an MW2 kneelift. The end came when MW3 got a pin after executing a reverse neckbreaker. MW3 is now #9 for the Cruiserweight title.
CSWA House Show #2
The show began with the Super Warrior issuing a challenge to Golddust for his title shot. In 15 minutes, Super Warrior gets the win after hitting Golddust with a one armed choke slam. SW is back in the title picture,
After this match, Mr. Kennedy came out for his match. He mockingly congratulated the Super Warrior on his win and told him that it really didn’t matter as he would still beat him when it came to defending the Cruiserweight title. Mr. Kennedy’s opponent for tonight is the Kraken. Kennedy started off with a spike DDT on the Kraken. The Kraken got up and went for a piledriver but that was nullified. Kraken manages to lock in a sleeperhold but Kennedy makes it to the ropes. Kennedy hits an eye rake but Kraken locks in a figure four leglock. Kennedy makes it to the ropes again. Kennedy hits the Kraken with a knee lift. Kennedy hits a forward Russian legsweep and Kraken hits the Kraken Crush but no submission attempt. Kennedy hits an inverted superplex and Kraken nails him with a chair. The Kraken then tosses Kennedy out of the ring where he just walks away. The Kraken wins the match but not the title. William Regal comes out and says that Kraken will receive a future title shot.
TV Champ Ted Dibiasi was up next against Shad. In two minutes, Shad gets Dibiasi to tap out to become the NEW TV Champion. Of course, Dibiasi is the longest reigning champion and demands a rematch. This of course brings out Hulk “TNA” Hogan who says that he never got his rematch so he wants it now. This brings Regal out again and says that Hogan and Dibiasi will meet now “in that very ring” to determine who gets the immediate shot at Shad. The loser will gain a shot afterwards.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 1.15 – How’s this for something new?
Hello fans. Well, in an effort to maintain good relations between the HWF and CSWA, it was decided that a tournament would be held – but not just any tournament….A POKER tournament. Yes, this is the first ever Donnie B’s Texas Holdem Championship. This was an invitational sent out to all 58 members of the active roster as well as to recently retired Tommy Dreamer, The Bruiser (who is out due to injury), and the following individuals: The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, and the Fabulous Moolah. This was a single elimination heads up tournament. Sting was out of town so he did not compete in this.

Our first ever winner of the Texas Holdem tournament is none other than HWF World Champion Christian. He ended up defeating Mr. Straightedge CM Punk. After their bout, Punk turned over the table and dumped all the contents on to the floor and he stormed out. After the event, HWF Owner Donnie B, CSWA owner Jeff Meyers and GM William Regal all came out to congratulate Christian on his win and present him with a "Texas Holdem" Championship. Christian shook all hands with all three men and posed with the new championship before we signed off.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 1.14 – fallout from the PPV
Hello fans. Welcome back to our newsletter. As we suspected, there has been quite a bit of fallout from the PPV. AJ Styles did defeat X-Division Champion Scott Steiner but it was by countout. AJ was placed at the bottom of the list but he didn’t want to wait that long. AJ immediately challenged Bubba Dudley for his spot. Their match went 19 minutes. AJ clearly had the match under control until Scott Steiner came out and attacked AJ behind the ref’s back. AJ ended up getting counted out. Steiner then announced that since he was out there, whether Dudley was ready or not, he was giving him the X-Division title shot.
Scott Steiner defeats Bubba Dudley in 5 minutes after locking in and having Bubba submit to the Steiner Recliner. After the match, AJ came down and chased the champion to the back.
Carlito then came out demanding his rematch against Batista. The Animal came out to some serious heat from the crowd. In a quick 8 minutes, Batista gets the win after choking out Carlito and pinning him in the middle of the ring.
Charlie Haas came down and called out the Undertaker demanding his title shot. Charlie Haas was quick and able to stay away from any high impact moves from the Undertaker. About the 6 minute mark, the Big Show made his way down to ringside. This distracted the Undertaker and Charlie hit a single leg take down and Taker ended up flat on his face. Haas picked him up and then nailed a belly to belly suplex. With help from the Big Show on the outside holding down the Undertaker’s leg, Charlie Haas got the pin at the 7 minute mark to become the NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION. Holy Cow.
Now, the Undertaker was tied for longest reigning champion so he was entitled to a rematch. Undertaker said he was calling for it right now. In order to prove the last match was a fluke win, the Undertaker defeats Charlie Haas in 3 minutes with a triangle choke submission to regain the Intercontinental Title.
Randy Orton then called out the World Champion Christian demanding his title shot. Before Christian could come out, Donnie B did. He told Randy that he stole his spot and wanted to challenge him again. Randy said that he had nothing to prove and that he already defeated Donnie B twice at the PPV. Donnie B then proceeded to call Orton a coward. Orton didn’t take to well to that. This tirade brought out GM William Regal. Regal said that he was making a declaration that will apply to both the CSWA and HWF: Going forward, if any wrestler challenges for a spot in a top 10, the defending wrestler MUST accept the challenge. To not do so would then have the defending wrestler removed from the top 10 and they would be unable to challenge for any championship for 2 months. Orton was livid but he said he would accept Donnie B’s challenge.
This bout went 22 minutes and saw Donnie B keep up with the former World Champion. This was a close match the entire way. Donnie B was tossed out of the ring 3 times but refused to stay out. The third time he was tossed out, Donnie B got punted in the head by Orton but he managed to make it back in before the ref counted to 10. Donnie B clocked Randy in the head with a steel chair and went for a pin but Randy kicked out at 2. After a little more back and forth action, DB nailed the Lights Out Brainbuster but Randy kicked out again at 2. Randy eventually recovered and went to hit Donnie B with a chair. He missed and Donnie B then took the chair and nailed Randy with it. Donnie B made the cover and with a bit of tight pulling, got the 1-2-3. After the match, Regal came back out and said that as an addendum to his previous statement, if someone loses their spot, they must wait a week before issuing a challenge back to the other person. This of course infuriated Orton who has dropped down again in the standings.
Over in the CSWA, the Kraken issued a challenge to Mike Knox for his shot at the cruiserweight title. In a 17 minute battle, the Kraken defeats Mike Knox to gain a future shot at the Cruiserweight title.
The Super Warrior was also quick to challenge the Hurricane for his shot at the TV title. In 16 minutes, the Super Warrior defeats the Hurricane with a Super punch to take over his spot for the TV title.
TV champion Ted Dibiasi came out for his title match against MVP. In 20 minutes, Dibiasi retains the TV title after an eye gouge and roll up.
Shawn Michaels came out calling down the US champion Bobby Lashley for his match. In 11 minutes, Bobby Lashley gets the win over Shawn after a nasty eye rake.
World Champion Booker T came out and called for his next opponent. MW3 then came down and said he was the #1 contender. Booker looked at him and laughed. “Whatcha think you’re gonna do sucka? I AM THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION and no one that looks the way you do will take my title.” MW3 then asked Booker to make this a no-countout match if he was so confident that he would win this match. Booker agreed. The match went 15 minutes and it just seemed like Booker was toying around with MW3. Booker hit the bookend and then followed it up with a spinning smash to get the 1-2-3 and remain the World Champion.
Before Booker could leave, Edge came out and said that the last match was not much of a challenge for him so he was calling in his title shot now. I guess maybe the MW3 match took more out of the champion then was originally thought as Edge delivered a DDT in the middle of the ring at the 8 minute mark to become the NEW WORLD CHAMPION. Booker of course was the longest reigning champion so he wanted his rematch, right here, right now and inside a steel cage. Edge at first said no but Regal came out and said that Booker earned this so he was making the match.
The next match went 17 minutes long. It was almost 6 minutes before anyone went to the cage. At the 15 minute mark, Booker hit a bookend and followed it up with a scissors kick. He covered the new champ and got the 1-2-3. He then went to get out of the cage but Edge stopped him. Booker tried to catapult Edge into the cage but Edge reversed it and catapulted Booker right into the door of the cage. The door came open and Booker fell out. Booker T is once again the World Heavyweight Champion.
Devon Dudley, who is tied for the best record overall, isn’t anywhere in a top 10 so he challenged Fit Finley for his title shot. In just under the first minute of the match, Finley hit Devon with the shillelagh knocking him out of the ring. Devon looked to be out cold and did not make it back into the ring. Finley retains his spot.
With this win, Finley and Batista currently have the best records in the HWF. In the CSWA, Mr. Kennedy is still undefeated with 5 wins and Booker T and the Kraken are on the leader board with 14 and 3 and 8 and 2 records respectively.
Kurt Angle then challenged Batista for his shot at the IC title. If Angle wins, he will get credit for the win but the shot will go to AJ Styles. In 7 minutes, Batista gets fed up with Angle and walks out. Angle gets the win and AJ gets the title shot.

Scott Steiner defeats Bubba Dudley in 5 minutes after locking in and having Bubba submit to the Steiner Recliner. After the match, AJ came down and chased the champion to the back.
Carlito then came out demanding his rematch against Batista. The Animal came out to some serious heat from the crowd. In a quick 8 minutes, Batista gets the win after choking out Carlito and pinning him in the middle of the ring.
Charlie Haas came down and called out the Undertaker demanding his title shot. Charlie Haas was quick and able to stay away from any high impact moves from the Undertaker. About the 6 minute mark, the Big Show made his way down to ringside. This distracted the Undertaker and Charlie hit a single leg take down and Taker ended up flat on his face. Haas picked him up and then nailed a belly to belly suplex. With help from the Big Show on the outside holding down the Undertaker’s leg, Charlie Haas got the pin at the 7 minute mark to become the NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION. Holy Cow.
Now, the Undertaker was tied for longest reigning champion so he was entitled to a rematch. Undertaker said he was calling for it right now. In order to prove the last match was a fluke win, the Undertaker defeats Charlie Haas in 3 minutes with a triangle choke submission to regain the Intercontinental Title.
Randy Orton then called out the World Champion Christian demanding his title shot. Before Christian could come out, Donnie B did. He told Randy that he stole his spot and wanted to challenge him again. Randy said that he had nothing to prove and that he already defeated Donnie B twice at the PPV. Donnie B then proceeded to call Orton a coward. Orton didn’t take to well to that. This tirade brought out GM William Regal. Regal said that he was making a declaration that will apply to both the CSWA and HWF: Going forward, if any wrestler challenges for a spot in a top 10, the defending wrestler MUST accept the challenge. To not do so would then have the defending wrestler removed from the top 10 and they would be unable to challenge for any championship for 2 months. Orton was livid but he said he would accept Donnie B’s challenge.
This bout went 22 minutes and saw Donnie B keep up with the former World Champion. This was a close match the entire way. Donnie B was tossed out of the ring 3 times but refused to stay out. The third time he was tossed out, Donnie B got punted in the head by Orton but he managed to make it back in before the ref counted to 10. Donnie B clocked Randy in the head with a steel chair and went for a pin but Randy kicked out at 2. After a little more back and forth action, DB nailed the Lights Out Brainbuster but Randy kicked out again at 2. Randy eventually recovered and went to hit Donnie B with a chair. He missed and Donnie B then took the chair and nailed Randy with it. Donnie B made the cover and with a bit of tight pulling, got the 1-2-3. After the match, Regal came back out and said that as an addendum to his previous statement, if someone loses their spot, they must wait a week before issuing a challenge back to the other person. This of course infuriated Orton who has dropped down again in the standings.
Over in the CSWA, the Kraken issued a challenge to Mike Knox for his shot at the cruiserweight title. In a 17 minute battle, the Kraken defeats Mike Knox to gain a future shot at the Cruiserweight title.
The Super Warrior was also quick to challenge the Hurricane for his shot at the TV title. In 16 minutes, the Super Warrior defeats the Hurricane with a Super punch to take over his spot for the TV title.
TV champion Ted Dibiasi came out for his title match against MVP. In 20 minutes, Dibiasi retains the TV title after an eye gouge and roll up.
Shawn Michaels came out calling down the US champion Bobby Lashley for his match. In 11 minutes, Bobby Lashley gets the win over Shawn after a nasty eye rake.
World Champion Booker T came out and called for his next opponent. MW3 then came down and said he was the #1 contender. Booker looked at him and laughed. “Whatcha think you’re gonna do sucka? I AM THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION and no one that looks the way you do will take my title.” MW3 then asked Booker to make this a no-countout match if he was so confident that he would win this match. Booker agreed. The match went 15 minutes and it just seemed like Booker was toying around with MW3. Booker hit the bookend and then followed it up with a spinning smash to get the 1-2-3 and remain the World Champion.
Before Booker could leave, Edge came out and said that the last match was not much of a challenge for him so he was calling in his title shot now. I guess maybe the MW3 match took more out of the champion then was originally thought as Edge delivered a DDT in the middle of the ring at the 8 minute mark to become the NEW WORLD CHAMPION. Booker of course was the longest reigning champion so he wanted his rematch, right here, right now and inside a steel cage. Edge at first said no but Regal came out and said that Booker earned this so he was making the match.
The next match went 17 minutes long. It was almost 6 minutes before anyone went to the cage. At the 15 minute mark, Booker hit a bookend and followed it up with a scissors kick. He covered the new champ and got the 1-2-3. He then went to get out of the cage but Edge stopped him. Booker tried to catapult Edge into the cage but Edge reversed it and catapulted Booker right into the door of the cage. The door came open and Booker fell out. Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 1.13 – First Blood PPV
Hello fans. Welcome to our first PPV of the year First Blood live from Detroit, MI. As a recap, here are the matches that took place:
The PPV started off with a bang and the first match is Christian defending the HWF World Heavyweight title against the Undertaker. Both men started off strong until Christian got tossed out of the ring. Normally you would think it would kill the momentum but Christian came back and battled even harder. He nailed the Undertaker with a one man concerto followed up with the unprettier but Taker kicked out of both. Christian was then introduced to the outside of the ring two more times but that didn’t faze the champion. Christian battled back and nailed a diving European uppercut and went for a cover but the ref wasn’t paying attention and he didn’t see it. Undertaker tossed Christian to the outside again but he made it back just before the 10 count. Taker then went for the triangle choke but Christian reversed it right into an Unprettier and he made the cover. The ref counted 1….2…3. Christian wins the match and retains the HWF World Heavyweight Championship.
The next match on the card is the other World title shot with Booker T defending his title against Rey Mysterio Jr. We’ve never seen Mysterio more pumped up for a match as he was for this one. Booker started off with a scissors kick but then Mysterio took over on the offensive nailing dropkicks and tossing the champ from the ring. It was clear that Booker underestimated his opponent. Rey went for multiple pin attempts but the champ still kicked out. At the 17 minute mark, Rey tossed Booker out of the ring again and the champ finally decided he had enough and got counted out. Rey Mysterio wins the match but not the title. I am sure William Regal will see to it that Rey becomes a top contender again soon.
The third match on the card is Edge vs. Matt Hardy. Matt is currently ranked #7 for the World title and Edge is #5. This was the shortest match of the night as Edge tosses Matt over the top rope at the 2 ½ minute mark and Matt is counted out. Both men stay where they are.
Next on the card is MW3 challenging MVP for his spot for the TV title. If MW3 loses, MVP gains the US title shot also. This one went 15 minutes with MVP owning the challenger. MW3’s heart must not have been into this match as he just got wiped right off the mat. The merciful end came when MVP hit MW3 with a nasty running boot to the face. MVP gets the win and now takes over MW3’s spot for the US title.
Next up is Randy Orton challenging Donnie B for his spot for the world title. Donnie B held his own and even was dominating the challenger until the 11 minute mark where he got tossed from the ring. Orton followed him out and nailed an RKO. Donnie B was not able to make it back before the 10 count so Randy moves up.
Donnie B then got on a mic and told Orton that this was a lousy way to move up in the world so he was demanding a rematch – right here – right now - in Detroit, MI. He wants his spot back and asks Regal to come out and make a new match – this time it will be a no DQ/CO. Regal comes out and agrees with Donnie B and he tells Orton to get back in the ring. In a merciful 4 minutes, Randy wins the match with an RKO. Randy is now the #1 contender for the World title.
Following that match was Mr. Kennedy defending the Cruiserweight title against the Super Warrior. This too was a short match that ended in the Super Warrior getting counted out at the 4 minute mark. Kennedy was in the ring gloating and then the Super Warrior attacked him. He started to choke Kennedy out and demanded that Kennedy give him a rematch right now but a no-dq one. Kennedy squeaked out an agreement. The next match went a whole lot longer…23 minutes in fact. The Super Warrior nailed the Super Powerbomb early but was unable to get a pin. After that, Kennedy controlled the match. At one point, the Super Warrior managed to nullify a Green Bay Plunge. Both men got tossed out of the ring but neither stayed out longer than an 8 count. Super Warrior managed to hit multiple Super Powerslams but Kennedy just kicked out. At the 23 minute mark, Kennedy reversed a full nelson slam and nailed a spike DDT in the middle of the ring. He made the cover and the ref counted 1…..2……..3, Mr. Kennedy is still the CSWA Cruiserweight champion.
Next was Scott Steiner defending the X-Division title against AJ Styles. Scott may have controlled the match early on but slowed down considerably as time went on. AJ tried everything in his arsenal but just couldn’t pin the champ. At the 23 minute mark, Scott decided he’d had enough and walked out of the match. AJ ends up winning via countout. Regal was at the top of the ramp again and told Scott that he was done for tonight but expect to meet Styles again in a rematch.
Jeff Jarrett was up next challenging for the TV title held by Ted Dibiasi. This one went 18 minutes and was all Jarrett. Dibiasi tried to hold his own but had serious issues. A brief glimmer of hope came when Dibiasi nailed Jarrett with the loaded glove and then tossed Jarrett out of the ring. Jeff was unable to answer the 10 count so Ted retains the TV title by a countout win over Jeff Jarrett.
Carlito was up next defending the North American title against Batista. Batista beat the champion from pillar to post and only took 10 minutes and a vicious powerslam to defeat Carlito and become the NEW North American Champion. Carlito said he was robbed and would gain his revenge when he gets his rematch.
The battle of the champions was up next with Booker T taking on Christian to see who would go on to meet Samoa Joe at the end of the evening. In 12 minutes after cleaning the mat with his opponent, Booker T gets the win after executing a Book End on Christian. Booker T will go on to meet Samoa Joe later.
In what only took 5 minutes to complete, the Undertaker defeated the Big Show via count out to retain the Intercontinental title.
The US title is up for grabs next with Bobby Lashley taking on HHH. This match went 10 minutes and even though Lashley controlled the pace of the match, he ended up getting counted out after HHH hit him with a sledgehammer and he was unable to make it back in before the 10 count. HHH wins the match but not the title.
Up is one of the matches we’ve been waiting for – Kurt Angle kicking the crap out of the Negronomicon. Angle starts off with a blatant choke but N nullifies it so Kurt answers it with a boot to N’s face. A bearhug from Angle is answered by a Doom Bomb from N. A hurricanrana from N is reversed and Angle hits another boot to the face but Negronomicon reveres that and hits a snap suplex for a 1 count. A bitch slap from N is turned into a pin attempt but only gets a one count. N hits another snap suplex but gets a 2 count this time. Angle reverses a throw out of ring, goes to the ropes and executes a belly to belly suplex. He goes for the pin but the ref only gets to 1. Both me then drag each other out of the ring. Angle makes in back in before N does. N hits another bitch slap and calls for the Black Doom. Angle manages to reverse it and hits an Angle Slam. He makes the cover and the ref counts 1….2……3, Kurt Angle is the winner of the match.
Our second to last match is the Dudleys taking on the team of DX in a rematch for the World Tag Team title in a steel cage. This one got a bit exciting after HHH managed to tear off the door of the cage with a missed sledgehammer shot. This led to some outside of the cage action. Shawn and Devon battled through the crowd while Bubba and HHH tangled up in the cage. HHH was blinded in the cage and Devon brought Shawn back in. Bubba then takes over and after a sickening face smash at the turnbuckle, Bubba covered Shawn for the 3 count. Devon and Bubba then made it out of the cage and are declared the winners and still the World Tag Team Champions.
The final match of the night is Samoa Joe defending the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship against Booker T. Since the cage was already up (and fixed by this point) Regal declared that this match would take place in the cage. Booker was solid in this match and owned the champ. We seem to think that the multiple matches he wrestled in may have taken their toll. Booker was able to get multiple pin attempts but just couldn’t keep Joe’s shoulders down. At the 21 minute mark, TAZ came down and handed Joe a foreign object. Joe hit Booker with it and followed it up with a muscle buster and got the pin. He made his way for the door but then changed his mind and went over the top of the cage. By the time Booker realized what was going on, Joe dropped to the floor and gets the win and remains the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 1.12 - Pre PPV notes
Hello fans. Just a quick update before the PPV begins.
Mr. Kennedy defeated Shelton Benjamin and retained the cruiserweight title. After the match, the Super Warrior ran in and started to brawl with Kennedy. The Super Warrior unceremonious dumped Kennedy out of the ring. He then got on a mic and told Kennedy he was cashing in his title shot at the PPV. Kennedy backed away stunned.
Hulk Hogan challenged Jeff Jarrett for his spot for the TV title. Hogan was beaten for the belt but never got his rematch. Jarrett ended up defeating Hogan in 18 minutes with the stroke to retain his spot. Jarrett then announced that he would be wrestling Dibiasi for the TV title at the PPV.
AJ Styles challenged Santino one last time for the shot at the X-division title. AJ Styles ends up with the win and gains Santino’s spot. Santino moves back down. AJ then challenges Scott Steiner for the belt.
We wanted to pass along the lineup for tonights PPV First Blood.
The Dudleys (champs) will take on DX in a rematch for the World Tag Team titles and this takes place in a steel cage.

The Dudleys (champs) will take on DX in a rematch for the World Tag Team titles and this takes place in a steel cage.

The final match of the card will be Samoa Joe defending his Undisputed Heavyweight Championship against the winner of the battle of world champions.
Oh, I just forgot to mention that the Negronomicon will also be on this show. His opponent will be none other than Kurt Angle.

Hello fans. Yep, we have more matches to report on. There is a lot of vying for top spots so with all this action going on, we are here to report it.

For this event, the host wrestlers are The Rock and Rocky Johnson. The Rock hurt his leg while shooting his latest movie. Rocky says he will step into the ring against the Negronomicon. Rocky starts off with a chinlock. He follows it up with a double forearm clap. He then hits the Soulman Powerslam. Negronomicon battles back and hits a doom bomb. Rocky smashes N into a turnbuckle and then goes for a pin but only gets a 2 count. Rocky hits another Soulman powerslam for another 2 count. N went to toss Rocky out of the ring but the Rock was there to catch him and get him back into the ring. N then hits a dragon suplex. A right hand jab from Rocky is met with a thrust kick from N. Rocky is then tossed out of the ring but he makes it back in by 6. N then hits the Black Doom and then stands over the prone form of Rocky Johnson. He doesn’t go for a pin though. N hits a snap suplex and goes for a pin but Rocky kicks out. Out of nowhere, Rocky hits some Lightning Dropkicks and makes the cover for the 1-2-3. Rocky Johnson has defeated the Negronomicon. The Rock climbs into the ring to congratulate his father on his win. Negronomicon attacks Rocky from behind knocking him out of the ring. The Rock delivers a quick kick to the gut and then a DDT on the Negronomicon. He then picks him up and connects with a Rock Bottom. The Rock leaves the ring and when he realizes that his dad is ok, they leave together to the cheering of the fans.

Hello and welcome back to the Wrestling Newsletter. In this issue we will recap the happenings in the HWF but wanted to touch on one bit of CSWA info. After suffering a loss to Booker T, the Kraken challenged Matt Hardy for his shot at the belt. Matt said that there was nothing in it for him so why should he. The Kraken told him that if Hardy wins, he would also take over his spot in line for the US title held by Bobby Lashley. Matt agreed. The Kraken starts off by kicking Hardy in the groin. Hardy goes to the ropes and hits a flying clothesline. Matt then went for a pin but only got a 2 count. Kraken nails the kraken crush and Hardy absorbs it. Matt then hits a yank hair flip but is then tossed out of the ring. It seems like that Kraken Crush did more to Matt than he let on. Matt is unable to make it back into the ring before the count of 10 and is counted out. The Kraken is back in the World title contention.
Over in the HWF, the host wrestler for this week is none other than the CSWA’s HHH. He will be taking on the Negronomicon in the final match of the night.
Cody Rhodes was demanding his title shot against Kurt Angle for the X-Division title. Before the match could start, Donnie B came out and told Rhodes that he wasn’t ready for a match like this so DB challenged Rhodes to a match. The winner would go on to face Kurt for the X-Division title. For 12 minutes, both men stayed pretty even although Donnie B hit Cody with numerous neckbreakers. The end finally came when Donnie B hit Cody with a neckbreaker for the 3rd time in this match. Cody, just unable to continue, is pinned. Donnie B takes over Cody’s spot for the title shot at Kurt Angle.
Before this match can happen, Kurt Angle calls out Carlito for his North American Title shot. Carlito makes his way to the ring. Carlito was not ready to defend the belt but he held his own for the majority of the match. The end came at the 10 minute mark when Carlito felt he had enough after getting dumped out of the ring numerous times. He just opted to walk away and get counted out. Kurt Angle wins the match by CO but does not get the title.
Angle was waiting in the ring for Donnie B to make his way down. Donnie B started off strong but was just no match for the former Olympic hero. After a grueling 15 minute battle, Kurt executes a tremendous Angle Slam from the top rope and covers Donnie B for the 1-2-3. Kurt Angle retains his title.
Cody Rhodes had defeated some jobber and made his way into the top 10 for the North American title. Donnie B challenged him again. Cody, wanting revenge for his prior loss, accepted. This was another very close match. Neither person got a real advantage over the other. This one went for 23 minutes and in the end, Cody fell victim to the vicious neckbreaker from Donnie B. Donnie B is now #6 in line for a shot at the North American title.
Next up was dual Champion (World and IC) Christian taking on the Undertaker. This match took only 9 minutes for the Undertaker to once again resume his level of dominance by making the champ Christian tap out to the triangle choke. The Undertaker is the NEW Intercontinental Champion.
Batista also challenged Samoa Joe for his spot for the North American title. After a 12 minute battle and choking out Joe by standing on his throat, Batista gets the win and takes over Joe’s spot. Joe moves down to the #10 spot while Batista moves up to #4.
The Big Show issued a challenge to Scott Steiner for his shot at the World title. Steiner brushed him off. Show then inquired about the Intercontinental title using small words so Steiner could understand. Scott accepted. If Show wins the match, he moves over to the IC line and Steiner will assume the shot at the X-division title. In a 16 minute battle, Big Show picks up yet another win and moves up to the #4 spot for the IC title. Steiner moves to the #10 spot for the X-division title.
Steiner immediately challenges CM Punk who had an open contract for his spot. This one only went 5 ½ minutes as Steiner gets the win after CM Punk was unable to make it back in the ring and got counted out. Punk was holding his own until he went to the outside. Steiner followed him out and ran him into the steel post. He then propped Punk up against the post and then hit a nasty clothesline on Punk against the post. Steiner rolled back in just before the 10 count giving him the win and the earlier shot at the X title.
Up next was the World Tag Team Champions The Dudleys taking on the team of DX. The team of DX owned the Dudleys and went an insane 19 minutes against the champs. The end came when Shawn hit a snap mare on Bubba and then delivered Sweet Chin Music and made the cover and got the win. DX are the NEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS. Of course, the Dudleys had in their contract an automatic rematch so that happened right away. The rematch went 20 minutes. The Dudley’s pulled out the stops this time but DX was right there with them. The end came when Shawn went for Sweet Chin Music but missed and Devon nailed him in the head with a chair. Devon made the cover and got the 1-2-3. The Dudley’s are once again the World Tag Team Champions. After the match, Shawn and HHH said that they deserved another match since they were the only team to defeat the champs. Bubba agreed but said it would have to take place at the PPV and it will need to be in a steel cage. All the participants agreed. With this agreement, we have our first scheduled match for the “First Blood” PPV.
Abyss challenged Fit Finley for his title shot for the IC title. This one went to the time limit of 30 minutes but did not end in a draw. Right at the end of the match, Finley hit Abyss with his shillelagh knocking him out and unable to get back in the ring before the 10 count. Finley retains his spot.
Scott Steiner came back out and called down Angle. He was demanding his match right then and there. He wanted to propose an option for Kurt so that he would accept this challenge. Steiner says that if he wins, no only does he become the X-division champion AND takes Kurt’s spot for the World title but if he loses, he does not pursue any title Kurt is in line for. This will stay in place for 6 months. If Scott is in line for a title shot and Kurt becomes a challenger, Scott must give up his match. Angle agreed. Because there is so much at stake here, the time limit was removed and this was also a no DQ/CO match. This only went 4 minutes as Steiner locked in the Steiner Recliner and Kurt tapped out. Scott Steiner is the NEW X-DIVISION CHAMPION and takes Kurt’s #5 spot for the World title.
Kurt, desperate to get his title back, challenged AJ Styles for his spot. Styles asked what was in it for him. Angle said that if AJ agrees to this match and wins, then any future title shots Kurt becomes eligible for will automatically go to AJ. This agreement will be in place for 2 months. Styles agreed. After a 20 minute battle, AJ gets the win with a spin kick. This means that if Kurt becomes eligible for a title shot between now and March 19th, that title shot immediately goes to AJ Styles.
Randy Orton questioned why Scott Steiner had 2 World title shots and William Regal told him that if he wanted one of those shots, he had to challenge Steiner. Steiner told Orton that if he could beat him, he could have the #8 spot. This was a super short match (90 seconds) as Orton tosses Steiner to the outside of the ring, smashed his head into the steel steps and then rolled back in beating the 10 count. Randy Orton is back in the World Title picture.
The final match of the night had HHH taking on the Negronomicon. Of course, N is not happy with this and immediately bitch slaps HHH. An eye gouge from HHH is met with a thrust kick from N. An eye gouge from HHH is reversed and N tries to toss HHH out of the ring but that is reversed and Hunter eye gouges N again. HHH then takes out a sledgehammer and hits N with it. He goes for a cover but only gets a 2 count. N tries to hit a Black Doom but Hunter reverses it, tries for a standing suplex but Negronomicon reverses that and hits a doom bomb. HHH hits N again with the sledgehammer but only gets a 2. A snap suplex from N is nullified by HHH. An eye gouge from HHH is reversed again and N connects with a flying elbow. He then follows it up with an armwhip of doom. HHH then lays in some rapid punches to the face of N and makes a cover but only gets a 2. HHH hits a thrust kick and N hits a flying elbow. HHH then eye gouges N again, rolls him up, pulls the tights and with a little help from a fast count, gets the 1-2-3. HHH is the winner of the match.
Going forward, the guest Host wrestlers from the previous event will announce who the next hosts will be. HHH told the crowd that if they tuned in to the next HWF episode, they will get to see Negronomicon get his from the team of The Rock and his dad Rocky Johnson.

Hello fans. January appears to be a strong month for news so lets jump right into it.
Over in the CSWA, the Super Warrior was the top contender for the Hardcore (Cruiserweight) title held by Mark Henry. The Super Warrior started off with a super punch and Henry just absorbed it. Henry countered with a body avalanche and almost squished the life out of the SW. Henry then blatantly choked SW but SW powered back and locked in a cobra clutch. Henry shrugged him off and tossed him over the top rope to the floor. All of a sudden, someone ran in from the audience and attacked the Super Warrior while Henry had the ref distracted. The mysterious person, after delivering a vicious eyerake to SW, nailed a spike DDT on the floor. He then took off. The ref turned around and started the count. He reached 10 and SW was unable to make it back into the ring. Mark Henry is the winner and still the Hardcore champion by countout.
In the back, William Regal is being interviewed and says that the CSWA has a new acquisition. The new person is standing there but with his back to the camera. Regal goes to say his name when this person puts up his hand and interrupts him. He looks up and a mic falls from the ceiling. “AHEM. My name is MISSSSTTTTTEEEEERRRRRRRRRRR KENNNNNNEDY. That’s right…KENNNNEEDDDYYY. I am here in the CSWA to make an impact. I am going to take this place by storm and to prove that, I removed that worthless opponent of Mark Henry’s…What is his name? Nevermind. Henry, I did you a favor and now you get to repay me. I want a shot at that title. Mr. Regal here says that you can grant me a shot if you so choose. Don’t be a coward and hide behind rules. Accept my challenge and we’ll see who the better man really is. Oh, and just in case you forgot the name, it’s KENNNNNEEEEEDDYYYYYYY….KENNNNEDDDYYYY!”
By this time, Mark Henry had made his way to the back. He was stopped by an interviewer and asked if he wanted to respond. “I don’t hide from anyone. But if you want a shot, earn it. I tell you what…challenge and beat anyone in the top 10 for my belt and you can have a shot.
Kennedy was walking around the back looking for a challenger when he ran into Mohammed Hassan. Hassan started to degrade him and Kennedy challenged him to a match. Unfortunately for Hassan, he didn’t realize that this was for his spot. For a good 16 minutes, Kennedy beat the snot out of him. In the end, Hassan fell victim to the Mic Check and was pinned. Mr. Kennedy now assumes that spot.
Mark Henry then challenged John Cena for his spot in the lineup for the TV title. John hasn’t been doing very well this year but he accepted the challenge anyway. In a match that went 9 minutes, we saw Cena hit the F-U five times. He tried his best to pin the World’s Strongest Man but Henry found a way to power out each time. The final time though was key as Cena managed to nail it from the second turnbuckle. The impact was so huge that the ring collapsed. Cena got the win after the 1-2-3.
Mr. Kennedy then came out and demanded his title shot. The bell rang as soon as Kennedy entered the ring. For 15 minutes, Henry showed why he is the champ but Kennedy also proved why he was the #1 contender. Both men were tossed out of the ring as well as hitting their signature moves but it wasn’t until the end when Kennedy hit the Mic Check and with a pull of the tights, got the 1-2-3. Mr. Kennedy is the NEW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION. The “Hardcore name is gone now since Henry lost the belt.
In an effort to get back at Kennedy, Super Warrior challenged Rhyno to a match for his spot. Rhyno accepted. The “man-beast” began beating the living tar out of SW. SW finally got a break after tossing Rhyno out of the ring. As soon as Rhyno got back in, SW hit the Wayner Stomp and the Super Powerslam and got the pin. Super Warrior is now back in contention for the Cruiserweight title.
Chris Jericho then called out Hulk “TNA” Hogan for his shot at the TV title. At first, Hogan didn’t want to come out but was forced to as he is the TV title holder and this belt must be primarily defended on, where else but, TV. Hogan made short work of his opponent by handcuffing him to the outside of the ring at the 3 minute mark and Jericho ended up getting counted out.
The final match of the night had World Champion Booker T defending the title against the Kraken. It was a decent match that saw the Kraken holding his own against the World Champion. Unfortunately for the newcomer, the World Champion exudes experience and that was the factor in this match. At the 14 minute mark, Booker nails a dropkick out of nowhere and pinned the challenger. Booker T retains the World Heavyweight title.

Over in the CSWA, the Super Warrior was the top contender for the Hardcore (Cruiserweight) title held by Mark Henry. The Super Warrior started off with a super punch and Henry just absorbed it. Henry countered with a body avalanche and almost squished the life out of the SW. Henry then blatantly choked SW but SW powered back and locked in a cobra clutch. Henry shrugged him off and tossed him over the top rope to the floor. All of a sudden, someone ran in from the audience and attacked the Super Warrior while Henry had the ref distracted. The mysterious person, after delivering a vicious eyerake to SW, nailed a spike DDT on the floor. He then took off. The ref turned around and started the count. He reached 10 and SW was unable to make it back into the ring. Mark Henry is the winner and still the Hardcore champion by countout.
In the back, William Regal is being interviewed and says that the CSWA has a new acquisition. The new person is standing there but with his back to the camera. Regal goes to say his name when this person puts up his hand and interrupts him. He looks up and a mic falls from the ceiling. “AHEM. My name is MISSSSTTTTTEEEEERRRRRRRRRRR KENNNNNNEDY. That’s right…KENNNNEEDDDYYY. I am here in the CSWA to make an impact. I am going to take this place by storm and to prove that, I removed that worthless opponent of Mark Henry’s…What is his name? Nevermind. Henry, I did you a favor and now you get to repay me. I want a shot at that title. Mr. Regal here says that you can grant me a shot if you so choose. Don’t be a coward and hide behind rules. Accept my challenge and we’ll see who the better man really is. Oh, and just in case you forgot the name, it’s KENNNNNEEEEEDDYYYYYYY….KENNNNEDDDYYYY!”
By this time, Mark Henry had made his way to the back. He was stopped by an interviewer and asked if he wanted to respond. “I don’t hide from anyone. But if you want a shot, earn it. I tell you what…challenge and beat anyone in the top 10 for my belt and you can have a shot.
Kennedy was walking around the back looking for a challenger when he ran into Mohammed Hassan. Hassan started to degrade him and Kennedy challenged him to a match. Unfortunately for Hassan, he didn’t realize that this was for his spot. For a good 16 minutes, Kennedy beat the snot out of him. In the end, Hassan fell victim to the Mic Check and was pinned. Mr. Kennedy now assumes that spot.
Mark Henry then challenged John Cena for his spot in the lineup for the TV title. John hasn’t been doing very well this year but he accepted the challenge anyway. In a match that went 9 minutes, we saw Cena hit the F-U five times. He tried his best to pin the World’s Strongest Man but Henry found a way to power out each time. The final time though was key as Cena managed to nail it from the second turnbuckle. The impact was so huge that the ring collapsed. Cena got the win after the 1-2-3.
Mr. Kennedy then came out and demanded his title shot. The bell rang as soon as Kennedy entered the ring. For 15 minutes, Henry showed why he is the champ but Kennedy also proved why he was the #1 contender. Both men were tossed out of the ring as well as hitting their signature moves but it wasn’t until the end when Kennedy hit the Mic Check and with a pull of the tights, got the 1-2-3. Mr. Kennedy is the NEW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION. The “Hardcore name is gone now since Henry lost the belt.
In an effort to get back at Kennedy, Super Warrior challenged Rhyno to a match for his spot. Rhyno accepted. The “man-beast” began beating the living tar out of SW. Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010) 1.8
Hello fans. Welcome back to another installment of our newsletter. The January PPV “First Blood” will be taking place in Detroit, MI on January 24th. We are continuing to build up to the first PPV of 2010 and are extremely excited to watch the progress of the performers as they make their way up the ladder of success. Our first piece of news is that Ric Flair has been assigned to the HWF and Jeff Hardy to the CSWA. With this move, William Regal immediately put back together the team of Jeff and Matt. This, of course, didn’t sit well with Matt’s tag team partner John Morrison. Morrison, who seemed to do much better in tag team action vs. singles competition really wasn’t happy and immediately challenged the returning Jeff Hardy to a match. The winner of the match would go on to remain partners with Matt. Also, it was announced that the special “host” wrestler for the evening would be none other than “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
At the house show in San Diego, CA, the first match on the card was Morrison vs. Hardy. Jeff looked a bit rusty as Morrison controlled the majority of the match. In fact, at the 7 minute mark, Morrison (who was accompanied by Matt Hardy) went for the Moonlight Drive neckbreaker and as he went for the pin, Matt held down Jeff’s leg for extra measure. Morrison got the win and remains partners with Matt Hardy. This of course didn’t sit well with Jeff who immediately challenged his brother to a match.
This match between the two brothers only went slightly longer than the other. Matt controlled the entire match and at the 9 minute mark, pinned Jeff in the middle of the ring with the Twist of Fate. Matt and John Morrison then left the ring together and left Jeff behind.
Getting into the title defenses, we will cover first the CSWA and then the HWF.
Up first was Mark Henry defending his “Hardcore” title against JTG. JTG actually held his own against the World’s Strongest Man but at the 15 minute mark, Henry tossed his opponent over the top rope to the floor. JTG looks like he may have been hurt as he was unable to make it back into the ring before the 10 count. The winner of the match by CO and still the “Hardcore” champion: Mark Henry.
Mark Henry then got on the mic and called out the TV champion Hulk “TNA” Hogan. He was calling for his match next and the bell rang as soon as Hogan got his old ass in the ring. Hogan hit the Thunderslam right off the bat but Henry kicked out immediately. Mark then tossed Hogan out of the ring who then decided he’d had enough and walked out. Mark Henry is declared the winner by Countout but the belt does NOT change hands. William Regal then came out and met Hogan at the top of the ramp. He was told that this really is “unsportsman” like and told Hogan he would get to meet the World’s Strongest Man again – this time it would be a no countout/no DQ match. Hogan didn’t like that but Regal walked off with the mic before Hogan could start rambling.
Up next was US Champion Bobby Lashley taking on Hulk Hogan. This match went for 11 minutes and both men really held their own. The surprise came when Mark Henry came down to ringside. This, of course, distracted Hogan. Hogan tossed Lashley out of the ring and then turned and started verbally assaulting Henry. Lashley made it back in and then delivered a nasty spinebuster in the middle of the ring. Bobby made the cover and got the 1-2-3. Bobby Lashley retains the US title.
This then led us to the world title match between champion Booker T and his #1 contender Bobby Lashley. Booker starts with a Bookend but only gets a 1 count. This match went even longer (16 minutes) but Booker controlled the match. Lashley tried to keep up but was unable. In the end, after hitting a spinning smash, Booker gets the 1-2-3 and is still the World Heavyweight Champion.
Over in the HWF, the first match on the card is the X-division champion Kurt Angle defending the title against Donnie B. Donnie B starts off by hitting the champ with a chair. Donnie B then tosses Kurt to the outside of the ring but makes it back in at 4. He then locks in the Ankle lock but Donnie B doesn’t submit. Angle then hits the Angle slam but Donnie B kicks right out. Angle hits another Angle Slam and follows it up with a vicious clothesline. Angle makes the cover and with a bit of tight pulling, gets the 1-2-3. Donnie B doesn’t seem too happy with this but leaves the ring.
The next match on the card is Carlito defending the North American title against the Kraken. The Kraken started off by kicking the daylights out of Carlito. Carlito had no idea what was happening. After 4 minutes of getting his ass beat, Carlito tosses the Kraken to the outside of the ring. He followed him out and handcuffed him to the ringside barrier. He then rolled back in and waited for the ref to finish the count. Kraken had no where to go and ended up getting counted out. Carlito retains the belt by CO.
Carlito then remained in the ring waiting for his opponent the IC champion Christian to come out. The Kraken remained at ringside. This match went 14 minutes and Carlito spent 13 of those minutes looking over his shoulder at the Kraken. This gave Christian a huge advantage and in the end, Carlito could not defend against a springboard plancha and was pinned.
Next up is Christian taking on the World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. This match only went 7 minutes as Orton could not handle the onslaught of Christian. At the 2 minute mark, Orton tried to get counted out but was brought back to the ring by Christian. Orton did manage to connect with the Orton stomp but Christian battled back and nailed an inverted DDT. He made the cover and the ref counted 1….2…..3! We have a NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION – Christian!
Of course, Randy was not happy after losing his belt right after winning it and noticed he wasn’t even in line for any other titles. He immediately challenged the #1 contender Devon Dudley to a match. Devon accepted. The new World Champion Christian remained at ringside to watch. This match went 15 minutes and Randy just couldn’t get his act together. Devon was beating him from pillar to post. In a last desperation move, Randy rolled up Devon and with a bit of trunk pulling, got the 1-2-3. Randy Orton is now the #1 contender for the world title. He called for Christian to get back in the ring demanding his title shot right then.
Christian immediately reverses a sleeperhold and hits the Unprettier for a 2 count. Christian then hits an inverted DDT. Christian then hits a flapjack. Randy battles back with a sleeperhold but Christian hits the inverted DDT again. Randy then tries to choke the champ out in the corner but Christian battles back and out of nowhere, hits the inverted DDT again. He makes the cover and gets the 1-2-3. Christian is still the World Heavyweight Champion.
Our second to last match is for the World Tag Team titles. The Dudley’s are taking on the team of Hardy & Morrison. This was another short match. After early double teaming, John Morrison is tossed out of the ring. In from the crowd runs Jeff Hardy who then attacks Morrison. Matt goes over to defend his tag team partner and they beat down on Jeff. Unfortunately, they were not paying attention and got counted out. The Dudley’s retain the World Tag Team titles.
Finally, the event of the night was headlined by Stone Cold Steve Austin taking on the Negronomicon. Negronomicon walks up to Austin and tries to shake his hand. Austin looks at him like he just wiped his nose on his hand. A couple of rights and Negronomicon is down. Austin locks in a sharpshooter but N makes it to the ropes. Austin didn’t like that so he choked him on the ropes. A suplex from Austin is met with a Black Doom from Negronomicon. Negronomicon then starts to taunt Austin by saying “What? What?” N hits a dragon suplex but Austin is up and stomping a mudhole in him. N gets up and hits a Black Doom and goes for the cover but Austin kicks out. Austin is up and stomping another mudhole in N. He goes for the cover but N kicks out. N hits a Black Doom but is then tossed out of the ring. He tried to walk away but this was a no countout/dq match. Austin physically brought him back to the ring. N begins to battle back. He hits a thrust kick and Austin goes down. Austin hits a Lou Thesz press for a 2 count. N is down. Austin stomps yet a third mudhole into the Negronomicon and goes for the pin. The ref counts 1….2….3. Stone Cold Steve Austin is the winner of the match. Austin calls for some beer and starts to drink. Negronomicon sneaks up behind him and tries to steal one. Austin catches him. N looks terrified. A kick to the gut is followed up by a Stunner. N is out cold. Austin asks the fans if he should share the beer with N. Most shout no but Austin is in a giving mood. He helps N up, hits a second stunner and then pours beer all over him. He leaves to the cheering of the fans while N is left out cold in the ring.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010)_1.7
Hello fans. Well, we just got in some breaking news. Donnie B said that he had a couple of announcements to make so here you go.
“Hello to wrestling fans all over the world. My first piece of news is the return to the ring of two great performers: The Nature Boy Ric Flair and Jeff Hardy. We don’t quite know which roster they will be on but we look forward to working this out with CSWA GM Jeff Meyers.
My second piece of information is that I had a brainstorm and I think this may be one of the greatest things I’ve come up with to date. As you all know, the Negronomicon has pissed off many people all over the world. There are wrestlers here that have told me that they want a match against the Negronomicon. The wrestlers on staff so far include: Shawn Michaels, HHH, Scott Steiner, the Undertaker, Jay Lethal, Christian, Kurt Angle, and Matt Hardy. Each and everyone of these people want a one-on-one match against the Negronomicon as well as having been approached by “retired” wrestlers who would love a match so this led me to the idea of ideas. I’ve decided to have a “host” wrestler at every show to take on the Negronomicon. As long as there is no schedule conflict, we will alternate between an active wrestler and one who is retired. “Retirees” obviously need to still be alive in order to participate. “
After this announcement had been made, Negronomicon slipped us another letter that basically stated that “it didn’t matter what old fogies wanted to fight him as he would defy his contract and defeat anyone, anywhere, anytime”. We certainly are glad that he made this statement as we have decided that the first person to take on the Negronomicon in this special challenge will be none other than Andy Kaufman. But wait….Andy’s dead. You are right and with that, the opponent will be none other than Jim Carrey impersonating Andy Kaufman (as he did in the movie “Man on the Moon”). In his corner will be none other than Jerry “The King” Lawler.
Out came Lawler first who introduced Jim Carrey who still was a spitting image of the late comedian. Carrey still had the act down pat. Negronomicon came out next. As soon as the bell rang, Lawler stared off and nailed the Negronomicon with a piledriver in the middle of the ring. He then tagged in “Andy”. Kaufman did a taunt and tease while Negronomicon was down on the ground. As soon as he got up, he grabbed ahold of Andy but Kaufman managed to hide in the ropes. A headlock (weak one at that) from Kaufman was met with a Black Doom. Kaufman somehow managed to make the tag and Lawler went to the top rope and nailed Negronomicon with a fist drop. N is out again. Kaufman is back in. Kaufman did a chicken dance before locking in a headlock. He then went for a wild haymaker but totally missed Negronomicon. Kaufman didn’t like that so he went to go talk with his lawyers at ringside. N started to chase him around the ring. Kaufman fell down and Negronomicon fell over him. Andy went for a roll up but Lawler jumped in and helped hold Negronomicon down as the ref made the count 1…2….3. Andy Kaufman and Jerry Lawler are declared the winners of the match. Kaufman (Carrey) wanted to get on the mic and belittle the crowd as the original Andy did but Lawler told him they should stop while ahead. They then left the ring.
Negronomicon was of course really pissed off. He started to leave when GM William Regal came out. “My good man. You are just getting warmed up. Actually, your ‘real’ match is now and your opponent, on loan to us from the CSWA, is none other than Shawn Michaels. Have fun.”
Shawn started off the match with a flying forearm smash. He followed it up with a diving elbow drop but Negronomicon hit the Black Doom. Michaels hit another flying forearm smash and followed it up with the diving elbow again.Michaels then hit Sweet Chin Music for a 2 count. Michaels is then tossed out of the ring till the 9 count. Shawn hit a flying elbow from the top rope and N hit the Doom Bomb. He tossed N out of the ring and as soon as he was back in, connected with a snap mare and hit the SCM out of nowhere and covered him and got the pin. Shawn Michaels wins the match.

But wait….Andy’s dead. You are right and with that, the opponent will be none other than Jim Carrey impersonating Andy Kaufman (as he did in the movie “Man on the Moon”). In his corner will be none other than Jerry “The King” Lawler.
Out came Lawler first who introduced Jim Carrey who still was a spitting image of the late comedian. Carrey still had the act down pat. Negronomicon came out next. As soon as the bell rang, Lawler stared off and nailed the Negronomicon with a piledriver in the middle of the ring. He then tagged in “Andy”. Kaufman did a taunt and tease while Negronomicon was down on the ground. As soon as he got up, he grabbed ahold of Andy but Kaufman managed to hide in the ropes. A headlock (weak one at that) from Kaufman was met with a Black Doom. Kaufman somehow managed to make the tag and Lawler went to the top rope and nailed Negronomicon with a fist drop. N is out again. Kaufman is back in. Kaufman did a chicken dance before locking in a headlock. He then went for a wild haymaker but totally missed Negronomicon. Kaufman didn’t like that so he went to go talk with his lawyers at ringside. N started to chase him around the ring. Kaufman fell down and Negronomicon fell over him. Andy went for a roll up but Lawler jumped in and helped hold Negronomicon down as the ref made the count 1…2….3. Andy Kaufman and Jerry Lawler are declared the winners of the match. Kaufman (Carrey) wanted to get on the mic and belittle the crowd as the original Andy did but Lawler told him they should stop while ahead. They then left the ring.
Negronomicon was of course really pissed off. He started to leave when GM William Regal came out. “My good man. You are just getting warmed up. Actually, your ‘real’ match is now and your opponent, on loan to us from the CSWA, is none other than Shawn Michaels. Have fun.”
Shawn started off the match with a flying forearm smash. He followed it up with a diving elbow drop but Negronomicon hit the Black Doom. Michaels hit another flying forearm smash and followed it up with the diving elbow again.Michaels then hit Sweet Chin Music for a 2 count. Michaels is then tossed out of the ring till the 9 count. Shawn hit a flying elbow from the top rope and N hit the Doom Bomb. He tossed N out of the ring and as soon as he was back in, connected with a snap mare and hit the SCM out of nowhere and covered him and got the pin. Shawn Michaels wins the match.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010)_1.6
Hello fans. Well, I’m surprised that it actually took this long but the Negronomicon has sent us a letter (postage due, of course). The letter read as such:
From the desk..no wait...the ground of N
2009 has been nothing short of hell. Unappreciative fans, horrible wrestlers, spectacularly awesome working conditions, and now the incident with the certifiably insane Perry Saturn and his godforsaken Mop.
It is enough to drive a man to the brink...and beyond.
For you see, I have been stretched to well past the breaking point. The abyss is before me. Now, I must take steps to face it and come out to the other side
Perhaps...it is time to live up to my namesake. And truly unleash darkness upon all who have opposed me.
Especially you, Donnie B. Especially You.
You'll hear from me soon...and the time for laughter is over.....

Well, as most of us know, the Negronomicon is full of hot air. We know he is under contract and unless he wins the powerball jackpot, he will have to do as we say. This reporter still can’t believe that the Negronomicon “stole” Moppy from Saturn and used it to clean the floor. All I can say is that he got (and will continue to get) what’s coming to him.
Donnie B (after reading the letter since he had to sign for it) had this to say:
“You know N, you can try to talk the big game but we all know you are no better than the Mulkey’s (Randy or Bill – 80’s jobbers). You tried your hand at running a federation but we saw how well you handled that and the fact that I had to bail you out. This will be your epitath: Striving but never succeeding. I will personally guarantee the wrestling world that they will NEVER have to deal with your b/s ever again. You say that you have been stretched beyond the breaking point. This much I can tell you. You haven’t even begun to experience a breaking point. The wrestlers, management and especially the fans want to see you get what is coming to you. It is inevitable. You must face Darth Vader again. Well, maybe not Darth Vader but your next opponent will be one who is familiar with the abyss. He has gone to the other side and has come back resurrected. Your next opponent will be the Super Warrior. Have a nice day.”
When the Super Warrior was informed that he would get to hand Negronomicon an ass-whupping, he seemed pleased. “Negronomicon, you talk of the abyss. I KNOW the abyss and if you are so intent on facing it, you will never survive. The abyss will swallow you whole. Only those pure will be allowed to traverse there and back…one such as I. You will never make it. Survive…if I let you.”
The match started off with Super Warrior hitting the Super Powerslam and nearly getting a 3 count. After a few minutes of beating on the Negronomicon, SW tossed N to the outside. N took his time and as the count neared 10, he decided to just walk away. The bell rang and Super Warrior won the match by Countout. This brought out GM William Regal. Regal stated that SW didn’t get enough time beating down on the low-life tyrant so he demanded the match be restarted. Super Warrior then got his fill of the Negronomicon by going to 25 minutes. Both men tossed each other out of the ring numerous times but they always made it back in before the 10 count. Finally, at the 25 minute mark, SW hit Negronomicon with a huge power punch and made the cover to get the 1-2-3. Super Warrior had his hand raised in victory.
After SW left the ring, someone ran in from the audience and started to beat down the Negronomicon. It was none other than Perry Saturn. I guess he still had not gotten the amount of revenge he wanted out of N’s hide. He beat him down again but out of nowhere, N started to battle back and delivered a nasty eye rake to Saturn. N then went out of the ring, and pulled out a mop from under the ring. He then broke the mop over the head of Saturn. Saturn, seeing the broken mop (and mistaking it for Moppy), ceases his attack, gathers up the mop and runs from the ring.
More as we get it.

Wrestling Newsletter Year 5 (2010)_1.5
Hello fans. In this issue we will look at the tag team roster. First, we also want to note that Charlie Haas has gotten better and was able to return to the ring for tag team action. The Bruiser is still out.
Both the CSWA and HWF will need to provide 4 tag teams. After they wrestle in 5 matches, the best 5 teams will be ranked in line for the championships. Here is what we have so far:

One last bit of information regarding the Negronomicon. As it turns out, the Negronomicon was in the back mopping up after someone spilled soda all over the floor. While back there, he broke the mop he was using. He saw one leaning up against a wall and decided to use that. Unfortunately, this was “Moppy” (back from the days when Perry Saturn was ‘insane’ and called his best friend “Moppy” because it was a mop). Saturn had been backstage visiting old friends. When Saturn saw that the Negronomicon had used “Moppy” for cleaning up a mess, he went ballistic and threw the Negronomicon into a few walls. He then dragged the Negronomicon out to the ring where he beat him from pillar to post. Since this was not an official match, there was no bell to ring. The ref just stood there while Negronomicon got is ass handed to him. Finally, Saturn felt he had inflicted enough damage and left the ring to a standing ovation from the fans while Negronomicon slinked out trying to stay hidden but a few fans saw him and threw drinks and popcorn at him.
