Hello
wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling
Newsletter!
Pyro
erupts across the entrance stage as thousands of fans leap to their feet,
waving signs and cheering while the familiar LIVE WIRE theme echoes
throughout the arena. The camera sweeps across the capacity crowd before
settling at ringside.
Mike ‘the
Voice’ Johnson:
"Good evening, everyone, and welcome to another exciting edition of HCW
Live Wire! I'm Mike 'The Voice' Johnson alongside my broadcast partner,
Johnny 'The Hammer' Harris, and Johnny, we've got a tremendous night of action
ahead of us."
Johnny ‘the
Hammer’ Harris:
"Mike, everybody's talking about Jack Lumber getting another shot at
Abaddon tomorrow night, but if I'm Jack, I'm more worried about surviving Truth
Wayne tonight. Nobody walks onto Truth Hurts without taking a few verbal
shots."
Mike ‘the
Voice’ Johnson:
"Jack has earned that opportunity by defeating Cassius Onyx in the
Convergent Tournament Finals, and we'll hear directly from him later this
evening. We'll also see Kai Zenith finally get his hands on R.A.M. Shortage
after weeks of frustration."
Johnny ‘the
Hammer’ Harris:
"That's going to be a fight, not a wrestling match. Kai wants revenge,
R.A.M. wants to prove he’s superior, and I don't expect either one to be in a
forgiving mood."
Mike ‘the
Voice’ Johnson:
"We'll also hear from Max McGillicutty and NPCW President Kristine Kringle
regarding the continued partnership between their two organizations, and that's
a conversation every wrestling fan should pay attention to."
Johnny ‘the
Hammer’ Harris:
"And don't think I haven't noticed those Brothers Grimmstone sitting out
there again. Multiple appearances. They keep showing up, and sooner or later
somebody's going to have to answer why."
Mike ‘the
Voice’ Johnson:
"An outstanding night of action awaits. Let's head to the ring for our
opening contest!"
Mike
“the Voice” Johnson:
" We are set to kick things off with another Proving Grounds match. As
always, these contests give HCW management an opportunity to evaluate some of
the brightest independent talent against members of our active roster."
Johnny
“the Hammer” Harris:
"Or, in this case, Mike, they give Salvador Vega an opportunity to prove
he belongs on the HCW roster full-time. Every match matters when you're trying
to earn your contract."
The arena
lights brighten as the opening chords of Blake Hill's entrance theme fill the
Columbia Coliseum.
Blake Hill
steps onto the stage to a warm ovation from the Live Wire faithful. Slapping
hands with fans along the entrance ramp, Hill smiles confidently before
breaking into a light jog toward the ring. He circles ringside, climbs onto the
apron, and steps through the ropes before raising a fist high into the air,
drawing another cheer from the crowd.
Mike
“the Voice” Johnson:
"Blake Hill has become a familiar face here in HCW, and every time he's
been given an opportunity, he's shown tremendous heart."
Johnny
“the Hammer” Harris:
"Heart's great, Mike. Wins are better. Let's see if he's got enough of
those tonight."
Hill backs
into his corner as the arena lighting shifts to a darker tone.
A heavy,
deliberate rhythm pulses through the sound system before Salvador
"Solidarity" Vega emerges onto the entrance stage. Vega pauses
for a long moment, scanning the crowd with an expression of quiet determination
before marching purposefully toward the ring. Ignoring the fans reaching toward
him, he keeps his eyes fixed squarely on Blake Hill.
Stopping
at ringside, Vega slowly climbs the steel steps and enters between the ropes
without taking his eyes off his opponent. He removes his entrance jacket, hands
it to the ringside attendant, and retreats to his corner, continuing to stare
across the ring.
Mike
“the Voice” Johnson:
"Another opportunity tonight for Salvador Vega to impress HCW officials in
Proving Grounds competition."
Johnny
“the Hammer” Harris:
"And if I'm Salvador, I don't care about making friends. I care about
earning a contract. You don't get signed by being popular—you get signed by
winning."
With both
competitors in their respective corners, ring announcer Tony
"Echo" Calibur steps confidently into the center of the ring,
microphone in hand.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one
fall!"
The crowd
responds enthusiastically.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"Introducing first... already in the ring... from Asheville, North
Carolina... weighing in at 278 pounds... Blake Hill!"
Hill
raises an arm to acknowledge the crowd.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"And his opponent... this is a Proving Grounds Match... from San
Antonio, Texas... weighing in at 227 pounds... Salvador 'Solidarity' Vega!"
Vega
remains stoic, offering only a slight nod as the official signals both men to
prepare.
The bell
is moments away from sounding.
The
opening moments saw both competitors cautiously feeling one another out before
Blake Hill exploded with a ringrope clothesline attempt. Salvador Vega
anticipated the attack, sidestepping the impact and immediately seizing control
of the exchange.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Vega had that scouted perfectly. That's the kind of ring awareness HCW
officials want to see in a Proving Grounds competitor."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"He's here to earn a contract, Mike. Pretty offense is nice, but
efficiency gets you signed."
Hill
answered in the second minute with a thunderous Avalanche that rocked Vega
after the Proving Grounds hopeful had connected with a scoop slam piledriver.
The two traded momentum early, refusing to let the other establish complete
control.
As the
match wore on, however, Vega began repeatedly turning to one devastating
weapon—the Double Pumphandle Orange Crush. The impact of the maneuver
echoed throughout Columbia Coliseum as Hill absorbed it once...then twice...and
then a third time in rapid succession.
The third
Orange Crush finally prompted Vega to hook the leg for the first cover of the
evening.
One...
Hill
kicked out immediately, drawing a loud ovation from the crowd.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Blake Hill showing tremendous resilience!"
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Resilience? Mike, he's getting planted into the mat every other minute.
At some point resilience turns into survival."
Hill
finally mounted a comeback in the seventh minute, trapping Vega in a powerful
Bearhug. The crowd rallied behind the fan favorite as he squeezed with
everything he had, but Vega refused to submit, fighting his way free before
regaining control.
The
remainder of the contest became a battle of persistence. Hill repeatedly
answered with swinging neckbreakers, ringrope clotheslines, stiff chops to the
chest, and powerful forearms, while Vega continued targeting him with crushing
suplexes, cradle DDTs, dropkicks, and more Orange Crushes.
Twice more
Vega attempted to put the match away with pinfalls, but Hill refused to stay
down.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"How much does Blake Hill have left?"
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Less every time Vega drops him on his head."
Despite
Hill's determination, the punishment gradually took its toll. After surviving
another furious rally from the crowd favorite, Vega connected with a perfectly
executed Three Quarter Nelson Suplex, folding Hill to the canvas.
Referee "Honest"
Abe slid into position.
One...
Two...
Three!
The bell
sounded after twenty-two hard-fought minutes.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"An impressive victory for Salvador 'Solidarity' Vega! Blake Hill gave him
everything he could handle, but tonight the Proving Grounds competitor proves
he belongs in the conversation."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"That's exactly what Proving Grounds is about. Salvador Vega wasn't
looking for a participation trophy—he came here to earn an HCW contract, and
performances like that are going to get management's attention."
Vega rose
to his feet, breathing heavily before allowing his arm to be raised in victory.
He offered only a brief glance toward the applauding crowd before exiting the
ring with quiet confidence, while Blake Hill slowly climbed back to his feet to
a respectful ovation for his effort. The Proving Grounds journey had taken
another significant step, and Salvador "Solidarity" Vega had made
perhaps his strongest statement yet.
Backstage
Interview – Kai Zenith
The
broadcast cuts backstage where Candace Hart stands in front of the HCW Live
Wire interview set. Beside her is Kai Zenith, dressed for competition with an
intense, focused expression.
Candace
Hart: "Kai,
in just a little while you'll meet R.A.M. Shortage in tonight's main event.
Over the past several weeks, he's attacked you from behind, cost you a spot in
the Convergent Tournament Finals, and has made it clear he wants your full
attention. What's your mindset heading into tonight?"
Kai pauses
for a moment before answering, his eyes never leaving the camera.
Kai
Zenith:
"At first, I thought R.A.M. wanted to prove he was better than me."
He shakes
his head.
Kai
Zenith:
"Then I realized... he doesn't want to beat me."
"He
wants to make excuses."
"He
couldn't accept losing in the tournament, so instead of earning another
opportunity, he blamed me... attacked me... and kept looking for
shortcuts."
Kai's tone
hardens.
Kai
Zenith:
"Every time he jumped me from behind, every time he tried to take
something away from me, he thought he was getting inside my head."
"He
wasn't."
"He
was making a mistake."
Kai steps
a little closer to the camera.
Kai
Zenith:
"Tonight there are no distractions."
"No
tournament."
"No
excuses."
"No
place to run."
"Just
you... and me."
"And
when it's over, R.A.M., you'll finally understand something."
"You
didn't start a rivalry."
"You
started a fight."
Kai nods
once before walking out of frame toward the entrance area.
Candace
Hart:
"Kai Zenith sends a very clear message to R.A.M. Shortage. Our main event
is still to come later tonight."
The
broadcast transitions back to ringside.
The
cameras transition back to ringside where the sold-out Columbia Coliseum crowd
buzzes with anticipation.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Strong words from Kai Zenith moments ago. He'll have an opportunity to
back every one of them up later tonight when he meets R.A.M. Shortage in our
main event."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Confidence is one thing, Mike. R.A.M. has been living rent-free in Kai's
head for weeks. We'll find out tonight whether Kai can actually do something
about it."
An upbeat,
patriotic theme suddenly fills the arena, immediately drawing a chorus of boos
from the HCW faithful.
Stepping
onto the stage with a smug grin is Ainsley America, one-half of the
reigning Iron Maidens Tag Team Champions. Draped proudly over her
shoulder is one half of the championship gold, while LeePurty Belle
struts confidently beside her carrying the other title belt.
Rather
than heading directly to the ring, the pair stop at the top of the entrance
ramp. Ainsley slowly raises her championship high above her head while LeePurty
applauds sarcastically toward the crowd before blowing an exaggerated kiss to
the fans showering them with boos.
LeePurty
points into the audience, laughing as she mocks several fans in the front row.
Ainsley simply smirks, shaking her head dismissively before making a theatrical
gesture that suggests the crowd isn't worthy of watching champions like them.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"The reception tells you everything you need to know about how these two
are viewed here in HCW."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Jealousy, Mike. That's what you're hearing. The Iron Maidens are
champions because they're better than everyone else, and these people can't
stand it."
Still
soaking in the negative reaction, Ainsley and LeePurty finally make their way
to the ring. LeePurty holds the ropes open as Ainsley steps inside before
climbing onto the second turnbuckle, proudly displaying her championship once
more while the boos grow even louder.
LeePurty
retrieves the title and exits to ringside, never taking her eyes off the
official or Ainsley's opponent's entrance.
The mood
inside the arena changes instantly as Joy Monroe's entrance music hits.
The crowd
rises to its feet as Joy Monroe bursts through the curtain wearing her
trademark smile. She enthusiastically slaps hands with fans lining the entrance
aisle, feeding off the crowd's energy before pointing toward the ring.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Joy Monroe has become one of the most popular competitors in HCW, and you
can hear this Columbia crowd firmly behind her tonight."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Popularity doesn't win championships. Ask Ainsley America which one she'd
rather have—a standing ovation or another title defense."
Joy
circles the ring, greeting more fans before climbing onto the apron. She enters
through the ropes and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, raising both arms high as
the audience responds with another loud ovation.
Across the
ring, Ainsley leans back into her corner with a smug grin while LeePurty offers
a slow, mocking applause from ringside.
With both
competitors ready, the official calls for the opening bell.
The
opening exchange showcased the contrasting styles of both competitors. Joy
Monroe wasted little time taking to the air with a Senton, but Ainsley America
rolled out of harm's way, forcing Joy to crash harmlessly onto the canvas
before the Iron Maidens Tag Team Champion immediately took control.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Ainsley America with some excellent ring awareness early."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Champions don't stay champions by making mistakes, Mike."
Joy
quickly responded in kind, planting Ainsley with a crushing Ushigoroshi, but
Ainsley answered moments later with her Democracy Driver, reminding
everyone why she wears championship gold. Neither woman could establish lasting
momentum as the opening minutes became a fast-paced back-and-forth contest.
Ainsley
eventually slowed the pace by chopping Joy down with the Glory Drop, a
perfectly placed front dropkick to the knee. As Joy struggled to regain her
footing, Ainsley capitalized with a devastating Constitution Kick that
sent the fan favorite sprawling to the mat.
From
ringside, LeePurty Belle applauded with an exaggerated smile before encouraging
the crowd to "show some respect for a champion," drawing another
chorus of boos from the Columbia faithful.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"LeePurty never misses an opportunity to make herself part of the
story."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"She's supporting her partner! That's called teamwork."
The action
soon spilled to the outside after Ainsley launched herself through the ropes
with the American Avalanche. Joy crashed hard against the floor as "Honest"
Abe immediately began his count.
Despite
the punishment, Joy beat the count at five.
Later,
Ainsley repeated the tactic, once again diving through the ropes and forcing
Joy to race the referee's count. This time Joy barely slid back into the ring
at seven.
Still, Ainsley
wasn't finished.
A third
American Avalanche sent Joy tumbling to the arena floor once more. LeePurty
clapped enthusiastically from ringside while keeping a careful distance from
the official's line of sight, taunting Joy as "Honest" Abe
continued his count.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Joy Monroe has spent almost as much time fighting the count as she's
spent fighting Ainsley America."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"That's because Ainsley is wrestling smarter, not harder."
Once again
Joy answered the challenge, diving under the bottom rope just before the
referee reached ten, keeping her hopes alive.
The
repeated dives failed to discourage Monroe. She rallied with a Babe Breaker
Death Valley Driver, followed by consecutive Ushigoroshis, a
beautiful Fisherman's Suplex, and a blistering Step-Up Enzuigiri that finally
swung the momentum in her favor.
Sensing
victory, Joy hoisted Ainsley high for the Babe Bomb Gutwrench Powerbomb,
but the champion somehow wriggled free before the move could be completed.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"What a counter by Ainsley!"
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Championship instincts!"
Joy
refused to be denied.
A
perfectly timed Step-Up Enzuigiri staggered Ainsley, and moments later Joy
followed with another crisp Fisherman's Suplex, bridging beautifully
into the cover.
"Honest"
Abe dropped
into position.
One...
Two...
Three!
The
Columbia Coliseum erupted as the bell sounded.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"She got her! Joy Monroe has pinned one-half of the Iron Maidens Tag Team
Champions!"
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"I don't believe it! Ainsley controlled so much of this match, and Joy
Monroe found one opening—that's all she needed!"
Joy
released the bridge and sprang to her feet with a huge smile as the crowd
celebrated the upset victory. Outside the ring, LeePurty Belle immediately slid
inside to check on her partner, visibly frustrated as Ainsley sat against the
ropes in disbelief.
While Joy
acknowledged the cheering fans from each side of the ring, Ainsley accepted her
championship from LeePurty, glaring across the ring at the victorious Monroe.
Though the titles were never at stake, Joy Monroe had earned perhaps the
biggest singles victory of her HCW career.
The All-American
Sweethearts left the ring and had some choice words with the fans. Joy eventually made her way to the back.
Truth
Hurts with Truth Wayne
The scene
shifts to the familiar "Truth Hurts" set. The backdrop glows in
crimson and black with the show's logo emblazoned behind a sleek desk. Truth
Wayne leans back in his chair with a smug grin as the audience reaction can be
heard from the arena.
Truth
Wayne:
"Welcome back to Truth Hurts... the only place in HCW where feelings don't
matter... facts do."
He smirks
into the camera.
Truth
Wayne:
"My guest tonight is a man who calls himself a legend. A former World
Champion. A former Convergent Champion. And somehow... after all these years...
he's still chasing glory."
Jack
Lumber walks onto the set to a warm ovation from the crowd and calmly takes a
seat across from Truth.
Truth
Wayne:
"Jack Lumber."
"Congratulations."
"You
survived Cassius Onyx last week."
"You
won the tournament."
"And
now you've earned another shot at Abaddon and the Convergent
Championship."
Truth
leans forward.
Truth
Wayne:
"Tell me... why should anyone believe this rematch ends differently than
the last one?"
Jack never
takes his eyes off Truth.
Jack
Lumber:
"Because this time... it's just going to be Abaddon and me."
The crowd
applauds.
Jack
Lumber:
"The last time we met, I wasn't just fighting Abaddon."
"I
was dealing with Lilith."
"I
was dealing with Count Vlad."
"I
was dealing with every distraction they could throw at me."
He pauses.
Jack
Lumber:
"This time neither Lilith nor Count Vlad will be there."
"So
for the first time, I expect to get a fair shake."
Truth
chuckles under his breath.
Truth
Wayne: "A
fair shake?"
"Jack...
that sounds suspiciously like an excuse."
"If
you were the better man, none of that would've mattered."
Jack
doesn't flinch.
Jack
Lumber:
"Anyone who's watched that match knows exactly what happened."
"I've
never been afraid to lose."
"But
if I'm going to lose..."
"I
want it to happen because someone beat me."
"Not
because someone else decided to stick their nose in the match."
Truth
folds his arms.
Truth
Wayne:
"So what you're really saying is... if you lose again..."
"...you'll
finally have no excuses."
Jack gives
a slight smile.
Jack
Lumber:
"If Abaddon beats me one-on-one..."
"I'll
shake his hand."
"But
if I beat him..."
"I'm
bringing the Convergent Championship back to HCW."
The crowd
erupts.
Truth
slowly nods before turning back toward the camera.
Truth
Wayne:
"Confidence."
"Hope."
"Maybe
even destiny."
He shrugs.
"Or
maybe..."
"...Abaddon
simply proves he was always the better champion."
Truth
smirks.
Truth
Wayne:
"We'll find out soon enough."
"For
Jack Lumber..."
"...I
hope the truth doesn't hurt too much."
Jack
stands, giving Truth one final look before walking off the set without another
word.
Truth
Wayne:
"We'll be right back."

The camera

Scrooge:
"I'll take it."
Long

Scrooge:
"The whole thing."
He proudly
places a tiny coin purse on the desk.
Scrooge:
"I've come to purchase... Pro Wrestling Superstar!"
Another

The camera

Without

PWSJowsterguy:
"You want to... buy the game?"
Scrooge:

Scrooge
thinks for a moment.
His eyes

"So I

PWSJowsterguy (smiling):
"If you book it."
Scrooge

Scrooge:
"Now that's a business model!"
He hurries

"I've

Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"I'll tell ya, Mike... ol' Ebenezer Scrooge never misses an opportunity to
try and make a buck."
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"Or buy one."
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
laughs "What a character! First he wants to buy the entire game, then he's

Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:

Johnny

Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"Well said. Let's get back to the action."
"Born
for Greatness" blasts through the Columbia Coliseum speakers as the crowd
erupts.
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"Here comes one of HCW's brightest young stars—Son of Drew."
Son of
Drew strides confidently onto the stage, slapping hands with fans along the
entrance ramp before pointing toward the ring. The energy in the building rises
as he climbs onto the apron and salutes the crowd from the second turnbuckle.
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"He's got all the tools, Mike. Tough as nails, tremendous athlete, and the
fans absolutely love him. Tonight, though, he's in for one of the stiffest
tests of his career."
The music
fades.
A chilling
military march echoes throughout the arena.
The lights
dim as Krueger Kruschev emerges from behind the curtain with an icy
glare, marching methodically toward the ring without acknowledging the hostile
crowd.
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"And now the man standing in his way—Krueger Kruschev. The Iron
Syndicate's resident wrecking machine."
Krueger
pauses at ringside, staring directly at Son of Drew before climbing over the
top rope with deliberate purpose. He removes his heavy coat and backs into his
corner, never taking his eyes off his opponent.
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"You want to talk about intimidating? This guy doesn't waste words. He
lets those fists do all the talking."
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"Son of Drew has the crowd behind him, but Krueger has been on an absolute
tear since arriving in HCW. This has all the makings of a hard-hitting
battle."
The
referee calls both men to the center of the ring for final instructions before
sending them back to their corners.
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"Son of Drew... Krueger Kruschev... and we're ready to get this one
underway."
From the
opening bell, Son of Drew refused to be intimidated by the larger Krueger
Kruschev. Every time the Iron Syndicate powerhouse tried to impose his
strength, Son of Drew answered with speed, crisp counters, and an unwavering
determination that had the Columbia Coliseum firmly behind him.
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"Son of Drew came ready tonight! He's not backing down an inch from
Krueger!"
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"That's either incredibly brave... or incredibly crazy."
Krueger
found early success with a crushing Full Nelson and a thunderous Hanging
Suplex, but Son of Drew repeatedly fought back with lightning-fast Superkicks,
arm drags, La Casita roll-ups, and breathtaking handstand headscissors that
kept the veteran off balance.
The
momentum swung wildly throughout the contest.
One moment
Krueger flattened his opponent with a devastating Last Ride.
The
next...
Son of
Drew answered with another Superkick that nearly brought the building down.
Midway
through the match, Son of Drew finally caught Krueger off guard with another
Superkick and immediately rolled into a pinning combination.
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"This could do it!"
One...
Krueger
barely escaped before quickly trapping Son of Drew in a reversal of his own.
The two
traded pin attempts in rapid succession before Son of Drew once again rolled
Krueger's shoulders to the mat.
One...
Krueger
kicked out.
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"That was way too close for Krueger's comfort."
As the
match wore on, it became increasingly clear that Son of Drew belonged in the
ring with one of HCW's toughest competitors. Every big move Krueger landed was
answered with another burst of resilience from the young fan favorite.
Late in
the contest, Krueger finally connected with another crushing Last Ride and
covered.
One...
Two...
Son of
Drew exploded a shoulder off the canvas.
The crowd
erupted.
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"He kicked out! Son of Drew is still alive!"
For the
first time all night, frustration spread across Krueger's face.
After
sending Son of Drew to the floor and slowing the pace, Krueger returned to his
methodical offense, but he couldn't put him away. Even another Hanging Suplex
failed to keep Son of Drew down for long.
The
closing moments saw both men digging deep.
Son of
Drew fired one last Superkick that staggered Krueger, but he couldn't
capitalize before exhaustion began to set in.
Krueger
answered with a barrage of forearm smashes that rocked his opponent back toward
the ropes.
As Son of
Drew crumpled to the mat, Krueger quickly hooked the leg—
—and,
unseen by 'Honest' Abe, reached back and grabbed a handful of Son of
Drew's tights for extra leverage.
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"Wait a minute! Krueger's got the tights!"
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"Abe didn't see it!"
One...
Two...
Three!
The bell
sounded as Krueger immediately released the tights and rolled out of the ring
before the official could notice anything unusual.
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"Krueger Kruschev steals one! Son of Drew had him pushed to the absolute
limit, and Krueger knew he couldn't risk letting this match continue."
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"Call it whatever you want, Mike, but the record book is going to show a
victory for Krueger."
Krueger
backed slowly up the entrance ramp, wearing a smug grin despite the chorus of
boos raining down from the Columbia Coliseum.
Inside the
ring, Son of Drew sat up, disappointed but receiving a standing ovation from
the HCW faithful.
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"Son of Drew may not have gotten the win tonight... but he earned
something just as valuable—the respect of this crowd. And if I'm Krueger
Kruschev, I'm hoping these two don't meet again anytime soon."
As Krueger
reached the top of the ramp, his smug expression suddenly disappeared.
Standing
in the front row, arms folded, were the imposing Brothers Grimmstone—Alaric
and Elias.
The
brothers stared silently at Krueger.
Krueger
barked something back at them, pointing toward the ring and motioning for them
to come closer.
Neither
man said a word.
Instead...
Both
Grimmstones slowly rose to their feet.
The arena
buzzed with anticipation.
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"Wait a minute... that's Alaric and Elias Grimmstone!"
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"Krueger was feeling awfully brave a second ago."
The two
towering brothers never broke eye contact.
Krueger
glanced behind him.
No Iosef
Koloff.
No Iron
Syndicate.
Just
himself.
After a
tense moment, Krueger scoffed, waved them off dismissively, and began backing
up the aisle.
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
(laughing) "Yeah... that's what I thought."
The
Grimmstones remained standing, watching Krueger disappear behind the curtain
before quietly taking their seats once again.
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"The Brothers Grimmstone haven't even officially arrived in HCW yet... and
they're already making their presence felt."
The camera
lingered on the two brothers for one final moment before heading elsewhere.
Backstage:
HCW
Headquarters — Max McGillicutty's Office
NPCW Headquarters — Executive Office
The
familiar split-screen returns.
On one
side, HCW General Manager Max McGillicutty sits behind his desk, a
folder already open before him.
On the
other, NPCW President Kristine Kringle settles into her chair with a cup
of coffee resting beside a stack of reports. The fatigue from the evening is
there, but so is the confidence that has made her one of wrestling's most
respected executives.
Both smile
politely as the connection stabilizes.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"Kristine."
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"Max."
A brief
pause.
Not
awkward.
Professional.
Comfortable.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"I hope I'm not keeping you from getting home."
Kristine
allows herself the faintest smile.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"I've learned that running a wrestling company means home occasionally
comes to you."
Max
chuckles softly.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"I've discovered much the same."
Another
comfortable pause.
Then Max's
expression becomes more thoughtful.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"Before we get into business... I wanted to check on you."
Kristine
studies him for a moment.
She
recognizes immediately that this isn't idle conversation.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"I appreciate that."
Max folds
his hands together.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"I've been hearing enough to know NPCW has more on its plate than
tournament brackets and television ratings."
Kristine
smiles faintly.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"News travels."
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"It does."
He chooses
his next words carefully.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"I also know enough to understand that not everything making those rounds
belongs in public conversation."
Kristine
gives a slow nod.
She
appreciates both the discretion...
...and the
respect.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"That's probably for the best."
Max leans
back slightly.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"Whatever is happening over there..."
"...if
HCW can help..."
"...security..."
"...personnel..."
"...logistics..."
"...or
simply another company standing beside yours..."
"...all
you have to do is ask."
Silence.
Kristine
doesn't answer immediately.
Instead,
her eyes drift briefly toward the window overlooking NPCW headquarters.
The weight
she's carrying is visible...
...if only
for a moment.
Finally—
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"If I ever make that call, Max..."
"...it
won't be because things became difficult."
A beat.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"It will be because they became dangerous."
Max's
expression doesn't change.
He simply
nods.
He
understands exactly what she means...
...even if
neither of them says the names aloud.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"Then let's hope I never get that call."
Kristine
offers a quiet, almost melancholy smile.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"So do I."
The mood
lingers for a second before Max gently changes gears.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"Now..."
"...there's
another reason I called."
Kristine's
posture straightens.
Business.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"I suspected there might be."
Max opens
the folder before him.
Inside are
several pages bearing the familiar Convergence logo.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"When we created the first Convergent Championship, we were taking a
risk."
Kristine
smiles knowingly.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"I remember."
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"We were asking two fan bases to invest in an idea instead of a
company."
Kristine
nods.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"And they did."
Max
continues.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"Abraham Van Helsing established its legacy."
"Jack
Lumber elevated it."
"And
Abaddon has proven that championship belongs wherever the best wrestler in the
world happens to stand."
Kristine
smiles with quiet pride.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"I couldn't have summarized its history any better."
Max closes
the folder.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"I think it's time we build on it."
Kristine's
smile widens ever so slightly.
Almost as
though she'd been expecting this.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"I was wondering how long it would take."
Max raises
an eyebrow.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"You've been thinking about it."
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"For quite some time."
She folds
her hands neatly on the desk.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"When we created the Convergent Championship..."
"...I
always believed we'd have this conversation eventually."
"...I
simply wanted to wait until it meant something more than expansion."
She
pauses.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"I think we've reached that point."
Max
smiles.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"So do I."
Another
brief silence.
Then—
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"I'd like us to create the Women's Convergent Championship."
Kristine
doesn't hesitate.
Not even
for a heartbeat.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"Yes."
One word.
Certain.
Confident.
Committed.
Max can't
help but smile.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"I was hoping you'd say that."
Kristine
leans forward slightly.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"The partnership has grown."
"Our
rosters have grown."
"Our
women's divisions have grown."
"It
isn't about matching the men's championship."
"It's
about recognizing that our wrestlers have earned the same opportunity."
Max nods.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"Exactly."
"The
championship shouldn't represent which company is better."
"It
should represent what both companies believe professional wrestling ought to
be."
Kristine's
smile deepens.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"Competition."
"...respect..."
"...and
excellence."
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"Shared."
Max turns
another page.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"I've given some thought to the format."
Kristine
gestures for him to continue.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"Each promotion determines its own finalists."
"Two
from HCW."
"Two
from NPCW."
"No
restrictions on how we get there."
Kristine
nods approvingly.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"Each company knows its own roster best."
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"At Convergence Night One..."
"An
HCW finalist faces an NPCW finalist."
"The
second HCW finalist faces the remaining NPCW finalist."
Kristine
finishes the thought.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"And on Night Two..."
"...the
winners meet to crown the inaugural Women's Convergent Champion."
Max
smiles.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"Exactly."
Kristine
reaches for a notepad.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"What about defenses?"
Max
answers immediately.
Clearly,
he's already thought this through.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"The champion remains under the authority of her home promotion."
"But..."
"...once
each calendar month..."
"...she
defends in the opposite promotion."
Kristine
nods slowly.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"And the visiting promotion chooses the challenger."
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"Correct."
"If
scheduling ever creates a conflict..."
"...you
and I resolve it."
Kristine
smiles.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"Like adults."
Max
laughs.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"A surprisingly rare quality in this business."
Kristine
chuckles quietly.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"One more condition."
Max raises
an eyebrow.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"I'm listening."
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"No double champions."
Max nods
immediately.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"I was hoping you'd say that."
"If
someone wants to become Women's Convergent Champion..."
"...she
commits to representing both companies."
Kristine
agrees.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"The championship deserves her full attention."
A
thoughtful silence settles over the call.
Then
Kristine smiles again.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"We're forgetting something."
Max grins.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"The belt."
Kristine
nods.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"If this championship is going to carry both our names..."
"...it
should look worthy of them."
Max closes
the folder.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"I'll have a design commissioned."
"When
it's ready..."
"...you
and I approve it together."
Kristine
extends her hand toward the screen almost instinctively.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"Partners?"
Max
mirrors the gesture from his side.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"Partners."
Kristine
leans back in her chair.
A genuine
smile now replaces the weight she'd carried at the beginning of the call.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"You know..."
"I
think Convergence could be bigger this year than either of us imagined."
Max nods
thoughtfully.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"I think you're right."
He pauses.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"And that's exactly why we need to keep building it."
Kristine
smiles.
KRISTINE
KRINGLE:
"Then let's make history."
Max
inclines his head.
MAX
McGILLICUTTY:
"Together."
The two
executives exchange one final respectful nod.
The
connection ends.
The split
screen lingers for a moment...
...two
offices...
...two
companies...
...one
partnership...
...and
soon...
Two
Convergent Championships.
Current Mens:
Coming
Soon:
Womens:
The camera
returns to ringside as the crowd applauds following the announcement.
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"What a landmark announcement. The Women's Convergent Championship is
officially coming to Convergence, and if it's anything like its men's
counterpart, we're witnessing the birth of another championship that could
redefine two promotions."
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"I like everything about it, Mike. Two finalists from HCW. Two from NPCW.
No politics. No shortcuts. Just prove you're one of the best in your company,
then go prove you're one of the best in the world."
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"And I thought one thing stood out above everything else."
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"What's that?"
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"'Partners.' That's the word Max McGillicutty and Kristine Kringle keep
coming back to. This isn't HCW versus NPCW. It's two companies working together
to elevate professional wrestling."
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"I also noticed something else."
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"What's that?"
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"Kristine didn't exactly slam the door on Max's offer of help."
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"No... she didn't."
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"She said if she ever made that call, it'd be because things had become
dangerous. I don't know what's happening over in NPCW, but I'd be lying if I
said that didn't get my attention."
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"Whatever it is, we wish everyone at NPCW the very best. And when
Convergence arrives, history will be made once again as the first-ever Women's
Convergent Champion is crowned."
Johnny
"The Hammer" Harris:
"I don't know who's getting there yet, Mike... but I already know I don't
want to be the one standing across the ring from Luciana Albano... Korbi
Kong... Aurora Storm... or anyone else who's going to have their sights set on
making history."
Mike
"The Voice" Johnson:
"There's certainly no shortage of contenders, and the road to Convergence
officially begins tonight."
The
broadcast returns from commercial to the familiar sights and sounds of the
Columbia Coliseum as the fans welcome the action back with a loud ovation.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Welcome back to HCW Live Wire! Still to come tonight, R.A.M. Shortage and
Kai Zenith finally meet one-on-one in our main event."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"And after what Kai had to say earlier tonight, he'd better be ready to
back it up. Talking is easy. Winning is hard."
The arena
lights dim as a pulsing, ominous theme fills the building.
Stepping
onto the entrance stage is Valeria Vex. Dressed in her trademark
black-and-purple gear, she slowly surveys the crowd with an icy glare before
beginning her deliberate walk to the ring. Every step exudes confidence as the
HCW faithful shower her with boos.
Valeria
pauses halfway down the entrance ramp, smirking at the hostile reception before
continuing toward the ring without acknowledging a single fan. She climbs the
steel steps, enters through the ropes, and slowly removes her entrance jacket,
never taking her eyes off the entranceway.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Valeria Vex has made it clear in recent weeks that she's targeting
Heritage Women's Champion Korbi Kong."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"As she should be. If you want championship gold, you go after the
champion. That's not arrogance—that's ambition."
The lights
suddenly brighten as an energetic rock anthem erupts through the arena.
The crowd
immediately rises to its feet as Phoenix Blaze bursts through the
curtain, throwing both arms into the air to acknowledge the cheering fans. She
points toward the ring before making her way down the entrance aisle, slapping
hands with supporters lining both sides of the ramp.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Phoenix Blaze always brings incredible energy wherever she goes, and this
crowd is feeding right into it."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Energy's nice. Let's see if it helps when Valeria starts kicking her in
the face."
Phoenix
circles the ring, greeting more fans before climbing onto the apron. She steps
through the ropes and ascends the nearest turnbuckle, raising both fists high
above her head as the Columbia Coliseum answers with another loud ovation.
Across the
ring, Valeria simply folds her arms and rolls her eyes, impatiently waiting for
the opening bell.
The referee
gives both competitors one final look before signaling for the match to begin.
The match
began at a blistering pace as both women met in the center of the ring
exchanging strikes. Phoenix Blaze landed a crushing forearm smash, but Valeria
Vex answered immediately by cinching in the Hussy Clutch, forcing
Phoenix into an early struggle. The submission looked dangerous, but Phoenix
refused to tap, eventually battling her way free to the delight of the Columbia
Coliseum crowd.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Excellent counter wrestling from both competitors right out of the
gate."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Valeria's doing exactly what she should—make Phoenix fight her
match."
Phoenix
answered with a beautiful Capture Suplex before showcasing her athleticism by
reversing Valeria's Fallaway Slam into a lightning-fast Leg Feed Headscissors
Takedown, drawing an appreciative ovation from the fans.
The
momentum shifted again when Valeria blasted Phoenix with the Wraith of the
Goddess Lungblower, followed moments later by a perfectly timed Superkick
that nearly turned the tide completely.
Neither
woman could pull away.
Phoenix's
forearm combinations and Three Kick Combo repeatedly staggered Valeria, while
Valeria continued answering with rolling elbows, Tornado DDTs, Fallaway Slams,
and another crushing Superkick.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"This has turned into a tremendous back-and-forth contest."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"That's because neither one can afford a loss right now."
Midway
through the contest, Phoenix nearly stole the victory after reversing another
Rolling Elbow into a stiff forearm strike before hooking the leg.
One...
Two...
Valeria
powered her shoulder off the mat.
Later,
Phoenix connected with a Leg Feed Headscissors Takedown and once again came
within inches of victory before Valeria narrowly escaped at two.
The
frustration on Valeria's face began to grow.
As both
women slowly climbed to their feet during the closing minutes, movement
suddenly appeared on the entrance stage.
The
Columbia Coliseum erupted.
Standing
at the top of the ramp was Heritage Women's Champion Korbi Kong.
Korbi
never spoke.
She simply
stood on the stage with the championship draped over her shoulder, staring
directly into the ring.
Valeria
immediately noticed.
Her
attention shifted completely away from Phoenix.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Wait a minute... that's Korbi Kong!"
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Don't look at her, Valeria! Finish the match!"
Valeria
pointed angrily toward the stage, shouting at the champion as Korbi calmly
folded her arms, never taking her eyes off her challenger.
The brief
distraction proved costly.
Phoenix
rushed forward, catching Valeria before she could turn around and planting her
with a crisp Double Underhook Suplex.
Phoenix
immediately hooked both legs.
Referee "Honest"
Abe slid into position.
One...
Two...
Three!
The bell
sounded after eighteen hard-fought minutes.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Phoenix Blaze capitalizes! Korbi Kong never laid a hand on Valeria Vex,
but her mere presence changed everything!"
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Valeria had the match under control until Korbi decided to play mind
games. She took her eye off Phoenix for one second, and it cost her."
Phoenix
had her hand raised in victory as the crowd cheered the upset, while Valeria
remained seated in the ring in disbelief.
Outside
the ring, Korbi simply nodded toward her fallen rival before raising the Heritage
Women's Championship high above her head.
Valeria's
expression quickly turned from frustration to fury.
The two
women locked eyes from opposite ends of the arena as the tension between
champion and challenger reached another boiling point.
Valeria
stormed to the back while Phoenix celebrated her win in the ring.
The
cameras follow Valeria Vex as she storms through the curtain and into the
backstage area. She yanks her wrist tape free and throws it to the floor,
clearly seething after what transpired moments ago.
Candace
Hart quickly steps into frame, microphone in hand.
Candace
Hart:
"Valeria, if I could get a word with you—"
Valeria
stops abruptly, glaring at Candace before motioning for her to continue.
Candace
Hart:
"You appeared to have momentum late in your match until Heritage Women's
Champion Korbi Kong came out onto the stage. Do you believe her appearance cost
you the victory against Phoenix Blaze?"
Valeria
lets out a bitter laugh.
Valeria
Vex:
"Believe it?"
"I
know it."
"I
had Phoenix Blaze exactly where I wanted her."
"Then
Korbi Kong decides she needs another spotlight."
Valeria
shakes her head in disgust.
Valeria
Vex:
"Korbi..."
A slow,
sarcastic grin spreads across her face.
"I'll
give you credit."
"That
was clever."
"You
stood on that stage..."
"You
got inside my head..."
"And
for one moment..."
"I
took my eyes off Phoenix Blaze."
Valeria
nods once.
"Congratulations."
"You
got me."
Her
expression immediately hardens.
"But
don't mistake one loss..."
"...for
momentum."
"You've
been looking over your shoulder for weeks because you know I'm coming."
"And
tonight?"
"You
reminded me that I need to stop playing with my food."
Valeria
points directly into the camera.
"So
here's what's going to happen."
"The
next time I see you..."
"I'm
not looking at the stage."
"I'm
not looking at the crowd."
"I'm
looking straight at the Heritage Women's Championship."
"And
when I get my hands on you..."
"I'm
taking it."
She lowers
her hand.
"Enjoy
your little victory."
"Because
when the bell rings..."
"...there
won't be anywhere left to hide."
Valeria
brushes past Candace and storms down the hallway without another word.
Candace
Hart:
"Korbi Kong may have turned the tables tonight without ever stepping into
the ring, but it's clear Valeria Vex believes this rivalry is far from
over."
The
cameras transition back toward ringside for the next contest.
The
cameras return to ringside as the Columbia Coliseum crowd continues buzzing
following Valeria Vex's heated backstage comments.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Emotions are certainly running high in the Heritage Women's Championship
picture. Korbi Kong and Valeria Vex seem to be on a collision course, and
neither woman looks willing to back down."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Korbi won the battle tonight, Mike. She got in Valeria's head just long
enough to cost her the match. But if I'm Korbi, I'm not celebrating too much.
Valeria Vex isn't the kind of person who forgets something like that."
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Still to come, Kai Zenith finally gets his hands on R.A.M. Shortage in
tonight's main event. But first, we've got another important contest."
An upbeat
country-rock anthem fills the arena as Son of Stache emerges from behind
the curtain to a warm ovation from the HCW faithful.
The
popular fan favorite points toward the crowd before making his way down the
entrance ramp, slapping hands with fans lining the barricades. He pauses
briefly to acknowledge a young fan wearing a homemade "Stache Squad"
sign before continuing to the ring.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Son of Stache has become one of HCW's most resilient competitors. Win or
lose, you know you're going to get everything he's has every single time he
steps through those ropes."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"He's also about to find out what happens when 'everything you've got'
still isn't enough."
Son of
Stache circles the ring, climbs onto the apron, and steps between the ropes,
pacing with anticipation as he waits for his opponent.
Suddenly,
the arena lights dim.
A cold,
militaristic march echoes throughout the Columbia Coliseum as the crowd
immediately erupts into loud boos.
Stepping
onto the stage is Iosef Koloff.
Stone-faced
and completely unmoved by the hostile reception, Koloff marches toward the ring
with a deliberate, intimidating pace. His eyes never leave the squared circle
as he ignores every insult hurled from the audience.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"One-half of the Heritage Tag Team Champions, Iosef Koloff has established
himself as one of the most physically imposing competitors on the HCW
roster."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"He's not here to entertain anybody. He's here to hurt people, and he's
exceptionally good at it."
Koloff
reaches ringside, slowly climbs the steel steps, and enters through the ropes
without ceremony. He removes his entrance coat, hands it to the ringside
attendant, and fixes his cold stare squarely on Son of Stache.
The
referee steps between the two competitors, gives his final instructions, and
signals for the opening bell.
The
opening bell had barely sounded before both men charged into action.
Iosef
Koloff drove a brutal knee lift into the midsection of Son of Stache, but the
fan favorite fired right back with a devastating WHIPLASH, refusing to
be intimidated by the Heritage Tag Team Champion.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"These two are wasting absolutely no time."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"That's because Son of Stache knows if Koloff settles into his rhythm,
it's going to be a long night."
The
physical battle continued as Koloff stomped away at his opponent before Son of
Stache answered with a picture-perfect THE TOMBSTONE, bringing the
Columbia Coliseum crowd to its feet.
Koloff
quickly regained control.
A crushing
Hostile Takeover nearly folded Son of Stache in half, followed by an
impressive Inverted Suplex that showcased the raw strength of the Iron
Syndicate powerhouse.
But every
time Koloff seemed ready to pull away, Son of Stache fought back.
The RODEO
ROUNDHOUSE found its mark before Son of Stache trapped Koloff in THE
HANDLEBAR, wrenching back on the Camel Clutch as the crowd roared.
Koloff
refused to submit.
Instead,
he muscled his way free and resumed his relentless offense with forearms,
another Inverted Suplex, and eventually hurled Son of Stache completely out of
the ring.
Referee "Honest"
Abe immediately began his count.
One...
Two...
...
Six...
Son of
Stache barely slid back into the ring before the count reached seven.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Koloff is methodically breaking him down."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"That's championship experience."
The
momentum suddenly shifted.
Son of
Stache exploded with THE WHIPLASH, then moments later planted Koloff
with another THE TOMBSTONE, leaving the Heritage Tag Team Champion
visibly stunned.
As both
competitors slowly climbed to their feet, movement near the entranceway caught
everyone's attention.
Walking
onto the stage was Leopold Dilg.
The
Columbia Coliseum erupted.
Leopold
never approached the ring.
Instead,
he simply stood at the top of the entrance ramp, glaring directly at Iosef
Koloff.
Koloff
immediately noticed.
His
expression changed from focused determination to outright fury.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Wait a minute... Leopold Dilg!"
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Not now! Stay out of this!"
Leopold
slowly raised a hand and casually waved at Koloff with a smug smile.
That was
all it took.
Koloff
stepped toward the ropes, shouting at Leopold to come down to the ring.
The
distraction lasted only a moment...
...but it
was enough.
Son of
Stache rushed in from behind and drilled Koloff with one final WHIPLASH
(Snap Suplex) before quickly hooking both legs.
Referee "Honest"
Abe slid into position.
One...
Two...
Three!
The bell
rang.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Son of Stache has done it! What an enormous victory!"
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Leopold Dilg knew exactly what he was doing. He never touched Koloff, but
he absolutely cost him this match."
Son of
Stache rolled out of the ring with a huge smile, celebrating with the fans as
his music filled the arena.
Inside the
ring, Iosef Koloff sat motionless for a moment before slowly turning toward the
entrance stage.
Leopold
Dilg simply smiled.
Then,
without saying a word, he turned and disappeared behind the curtain.
Koloff
rose to his feet, absolutely livid, pounding the mat with both fists before
glaring toward the backstage area.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"The rivalry between Leopold Dilg and the Iron Syndicate just escalated
once again."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Leopold got his payback tonight... but if I know Iosef Koloff, this isn't
over. Not by a long shot."
Iosef left
the ring in a huff and powerwalked to the back.
He did manage to glance at the Brothers Grimmstone before opting not to
start anything tonight. Son of Stache
celebrated with the fans before finally heading to the back.
The
cameras catch up with a furious Iosef Koloff as he storms through the
backstage curtain. He tears the tape from his wrists and throws it onto the
floor before Candace Hart cautiously steps into frame.
Candace
Hart:
"Iosef, moments ago you suffered a surprising loss to Son of Stache after
Leopold Dilg appeared on the entrance stage. What—"
Iosef
takes the microphone from Candace's hand.
Iosef
Koloff:
"Surprising?"
He slowly
shakes his head.
"No."
"There
was nothing surprising."
"I
beat Son of Stache."
"Leopold
Dilg steal one moment... and referee count three."
He points
directly into the camera.
"Leopold..."
"You
wanted revenge."
"Now
you have it."
"For
one night."
"But
understand this..."
"You
make mistake."
"You
declare war with Iron Syndicate."
At that
moment, Krueger Kruschev steps into frame beside his partner, his
expression cold and unreadable.
Candace
accepts another microphone from a production assistant.
Candace
Hart:
"Krueger, speaking of earlier tonight, you defeated Son of Drew in questionable
fashion. Does that victory help make up for what happened to Iosef?"
Krueger
barely acknowledges the question.
Krueger
Kruschev:
"No."
"Victory
is expected."
"We
do not celebrate doing our job."
He turns
toward Iosef before looking back into the camera.
"What
happened tonight..."
"...we
do not forget."
Iosef
nods.
Iosef
Koloff:
"Leopold thinks now we are even."
A faint
smirk appears.
"No."
"There
is no even."
"There
is only next."
Krueger
takes one step closer to the camera.
Krueger
Kruschev:
"Leopold..."
"Now
you have all of our attention."
"And
trust me..."
"...that
is very dangerous place to be."
Iosef
hands the microphone back to Candace.
Iosef
Koloff:
"Enjoy this victory."
"It
will be last good memory you have."
"When
Iron Syndicate comes for you..."
"...there
will be no referee."
"...no
distraction."
"...only
consequence."
Without
another word, the two Heritage Tag Team Champions walk away together, leaving
Candace watching them disappear down the hallway.
Candace
Hart:
"The message from the Iron Syndicate is unmistakable. Their issue with
Leopold Dilg is far from over."
The
cameras transition back toward ringside.
The
cameras return to ringside as the Columbia Coliseum crowd buzzes in
anticipation for the night's main event.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"What started weeks ago as a tournament rivalry has become deeply
personal. R.A.M. Shortage cost Kai Zenith a chance to compete for the
Convergent Championship, then continued attacking him from behind whenever the
opportunity presented itself."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"R.A.M. wasn't playing favorites—he was settling a score. Kai beat him in
the tournament, and R.A.M. has been making him pay ever since."
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Well, tonight there are no brackets, no distractions, and no excuses. For
the first time, these two will settle things one-on-one."
The lights
inside the Columbia Coliseum dim as a series of digital glitches flash across
the Omegatron. Electronic distortion fills the arena before a heavy industrial
beat takes over.
Emerging
through the curtain is R.A.M. Shortage.
With a
cold, calculated expression, R.A.M. slowly walks onto the stage, pausing
briefly to scan the hostile crowd before making his deliberate march toward the
ring. Every movement is measured, every step purposeful, as the fans shower him
with boos.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"R.A.M. Shortage has been one of the most dangerous newcomers in HCW. His
aggression has only intensified since losing to Kai Zenith in the Convergent
Tournament."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"He's not interested in rankings or championships right now. He wants
revenge."
R.A.M.
climbs the steel steps, ducks through the ropes, and walks to the center of the
ring without acknowledging the crowd. He removes his entrance jacket and waits
impatiently for his opponent.
The arena
suddenly explodes with cheers as an energetic rock anthem echoes throughout the
building.
Kai
Zenith bursts
through the curtain with determination written across his face.
He wastes
no time making his way toward the ring, slapping a few outstretched hands
before pointing directly at R.A.M. from halfway down the entrance ramp.
The crowd
responds with another loud ovation.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Kai Zenith told Candace Hart earlier tonight that he wanted R.A.M. with
no distractions."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"He's getting exactly what he asked for."
Kai
circles the ring before climbing onto the apron. He steps between the ropes and
walks directly toward the center of the ring, locking eyes with R.A.M. as
neither man gives an inch.
Referee "Honest"
Abe quickly positions himself between the two competitors as Ring Announcer
Tony "Echo" Calibur steps into the ring.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is tonight's HCW Live Wire
Main Event!"
The crowd
erupts.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"Introducing first... from Silicon Valley, California... weighing in at
218 pounds... R.A.M. SHORTAGE!"
A chorus
of boos rains down as R.A.M. raises a single fist without taking his eyes off
Kai.
Tony
"Echo" Calibur:
"And his opponent... from Phoenix, Arizona... weighing in at 210 pounds...
KAI ZENITH!"
The
audience roars as Kai raises both arms before settling back into his fighting
stance.
Referee "Honest"
Abe checks both competitors one final time before calling for the opening
bell.
he bell
rang, and before Kai Zenith could establish any momentum, R.A.M. Shortage
exploded across the ring with a vicious Data Spike, planting Kai with
authority.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"R.A.M. came into this match with one objective—to punish Kai
Zenith."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Forget winning. He wants Kai to regret ever beating him."
Kai
answered with a blistering Kick Flurry and Enzuigiri, but R.A.M. immediately
erased the momentum by driving him inside out with a devastating RAMAGEDDON
Spear.
The
punishment continued.
Every time
Kai mounted offense, R.A.M. had an answer.
A second
Data Spike.
Repeated
chops directly to the throat.
The
crushing Overload Body Avalanche.
The
devastating elbow drop known as The Price Hike.
Even when
Kai connected with spectacular offense like the Green Tea Plunge, Roundhouse
Kicks, Buzzsaw Kicks, and Spinning Heel Kicks, R.A.M. simply kept coming.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Kai is landing offense... but R.A.M. just keeps absorbing it."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Because this isn't about technique anymore. This is personal."
Midway
through the match, Kai nearly stole the victory following his PK and Standing
Moonsault Knees, but R.A.M. powered out before three.
Moments
later, R.A.M. trapped Kai in the Buffering Rear Chin Lock, grinding him
down while talking to him the entire time.
No one
could hear the words...
...but
Kai's expression made it obvious they weren't compliments.
As the
twenty-minute mark approached, R.A.M. looked completely in control.
He drilled
Kai with another thunderous RAMAGEDDON, hooking both legs with absolute
confidence.
Referee "Honest"
Abe counted.
One...
Two...
Kai
somehow kicked out.
The
Columbia Coliseum exploded.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"I don't believe it!"
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"How did he survive that?!"
R.A.M.
couldn't believe it either.
For the
first time all night, frustration crossed his face.
Kai
refused to stay down.
He fought
through another barrage of offense, surviving yet another near fall after The
Price Hike connected flush.
The crowd
began rallying behind him.
"KAI!"
"KAI!"
"KAI!"
Summoning
every ounce of energy he had left, Kai suddenly exploded with a breathtaking Flamingo
Driver Cross Leg One-Hand Electric Chair Driver, stunning R.A.M. long
enough to create an opening.
Moments
later, Kai caught him with the PK & Standing Moonsault Knees.
Kai
collapsed across his opponent.
Referee "Honest"
Abe dropped into position.
One...
Two...
Three!
The
Columbia Coliseum erupted.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Kai Zenith has done it! Somehow... some way... Kai Zenith survives!"
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"R.A.M. dominated this match! He absolutely dominated it! Kai just found
one opening."
Kai could
barely stand as "Honest" Abe raised his hand in victory.
But before
the celebration could even begin...
R.A.M.
Shortage sat straight up.
The crowd
gasped.
Kai turned
just in time to eat another crushing RAMAGEDDON Spear, nearly cutting
him in half.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Come on! The match is over!"
R.A.M.
wasn't finished.
He grabbed
Kai by the wrist and dragged him underneath the bottom rope, pulling him to the
floor as officials rushed from the back.
Ignoring
every warning, R.A.M. cleared the announce table in one violent sweep, sending
monitors and papers crashing to the arena floor.
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Somebody stop him!"
Kai
struggled to his feet...
R.A.M.
exploded forward one final time.
RAMAGEDDON!
The spear
drove Kai completely through the announce table in a shower of broken wood,
shattered monitors, and debris.
The
Columbia Coliseum fell into stunned silence.
Officials
immediately surrounded the wreckage while R.A.M. stood over the broken table,
breathing heavily.
Security
cautiously approached...
...but no
one was eager to get close.
R.A.M.
looked down at Kai before speaking just loudly enough for the nearby cameras to
hear.
R.A.M.
Shortage:
"System error..."
"...not
corrected."
He turned
and calmly walked up the entrance ramp without another glance behind him.
Medical
personnel hurried to Kai's side as officials assessed the damage.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Kai Zenith may have won this match..."
"...but
R.A.M. Shortage has sent an unmistakable message."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"If you ask me... this rivalry is only getting started."
The camera
lingers on the medical staff tending to Kai Zenith amid the splintered remains
of the announce table as the Live Wire audience watches in stunned silence.
Medical
personnel continue checking on Kai Zenith as several HCW officials remain
gathered around the shattered remains of the announce table. The Columbia
Coliseum crowd applauds as Kai slowly begins to sit up, still feeling the
effects of R.A.M. Shortage's vicious post-match assault.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Kai Zenith earned one of the biggest victories of his HCW career tonight,
but I don't think that's what anyone is going to remember."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"R.A.M. Shortage lost the match... but he made sure Kai paid a much bigger
price after the bell."
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"We've seen rivalries become personal before, but what happened here
tonight crossed another line entirely. Kai Zenith may have gotten the victory,
but R.A.M. Shortage made one thing abundantly clear..."
"...this
issue between these two men is far from settled."
Kai is
finally helped to his feet by officials as the fans give him another ovation.
Though unsteady, he waves off further assistance and glares toward the
entranceway where R.A.M. disappeared moments earlier.
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"Look at Kai. He can barely stand, and he's still looking for R.A.M. These
two are going to tear each other apart before this is over."
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"What a night it's been here on Live Wire. Salvador Vega continued to
impress in Proving Grounds competition, Joy Monroe picked up a huge victory
over Ainsley America, Phoenix Blaze capitalized against Valeria Vex after Korbi
Kong turned the tables on her rival, Son of Stache shocked Heritage Tag Team
Champion Iosef Koloff thanks to Leopold Dilg's timely appearance, and in our
unforgettable main event, Kai Zenith survived twenty-five grueling minutes to
defeat R.A.M. Shortage."
"But
as we've just witnessed... winning the match doesn't always end the
fight."
The camera
captures one final shot of Kai leaning against the barricade, still staring
toward the backstage area with determination despite the pain.
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"For Johnny 'the Hammer' Harris, our entire production crew, and everyone
here at Heritage Championship Wrestling, I'm Mike 'the Voice' Johnson saying
thank you for joining us."
Johnny
"the Hammer" Harris:
"We'll see you Sunday on Voltage... and if R.A.M. Shortage has anything to
say about it, Kai Zenith better be ready."
Mike
"the Voice" Johnson:
"Goodnight, everybody!"
The Live
Wire logo fades onto the screen as the broadcast closes with one last wide shot
of the Columbia Coliseum before fading to black.
