“Hello
wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling
Newsletter.”
The screen
fades in from black.
“EARLIER
TODAY” appears across the screen.
The HCW
logo flashes briefly before cutting backstage to the office of Max McGillicutty.
United
States Champion Jett Sterling storms into the office with the championship belt
over his shoulder, already visibly irritated.
Jett
Sterling:
“Absolutely not. No. I already beat Owen Zestwell so badly the guy packed his
bags and ran to Hollywood. I am NOT wasting my time tonight defending this
title against some random nobody.”
Max barely
looks up from the paperwork on his desk.
Max
McGillicutty:
“Nobody said anything about a title defense.”
Jett
pauses for a second.
Jett
Sterling:
“Good. Because this championship is reserved for marquee attractions. Premium
events. Mainstream stars.”
Max slowly
stands.
Max
McGillicutty:
“You ARE wrestling tonight.”
Jett
laughs sarcastically.
Jett
Sterling:
“Of course I am. HCW needs ratings.”
Max steps
closer.
Max
McGillicutty:
“You’ll face Diego Estrella.”
Jett’s
expression immediately changes.
Jett
Sterling:
“Diego Estrella? Who? Seriously? What’s
he done besides flip around for internet clips?”
Max
McGillicutty:
“What he’s done is show up and compete while you spend your time talking about
Hollywood.”
Jett
adjusts the title belt angrily.
Jett
Sterling:
“Fine. I’ll embarrass him too. But let’s make one thing very clear right now…”
Jett
points directly at the championship.
Jett
Sterling:
“This title is NOT on the line.”
Max smirks
slightly.
Max
McGillicutty:
“Then I guess you have nothing to worry about.”
Jett
stares at Max for a moment before storming out of the office.
The screen
fades to black.
“HCW
VOLTAGE” flashes across the screen as pyrotechnics explode inside the arena.
Blue-and-silver
pyrotechnics explode across the entrance stage as the camera sweeps through a
loud, energized crowd inside the Scrooge Resorts Columbia Coliseum™. Signs fill
the arena:
“JETT IS
OVERRATED”
“WELCOME JOY MONROE”
“OWEN > JETT”
“AMERICA NEEDS SWEETHEARTS”
and
“CIPHER IS WATCHING.”
The HCW
Voltage logo pulses across the Omegatron while fans continue roaring as
spotlights circle the arena.
Sam
Duffy: “Ladies
and gentlemen, welcome to HCW Voltage! We are LIVE tonight from Columbia, South
Carolina and we’ve got a loaded night ahead of us here in Heritage Championship
Wrestling!”
Rick
Granger: “You
say loaded, Sam, I say historic. Tonight the Golden Boy of HCW, United States
Champion Jett Sterling, is in action!”
Sam
Duffy:
“Non-title action.”
Rick
Granger:
“Which is exactly how it should be! Jett Sterling has already proven he’s the
premiere athlete in this company!”
A
fast-paced opening montage begins playing across the Omegatron.
Quick
flashes show:
- Jett Sterling standing over Owen
Zestwell after their recent encounters
- Adrian Cipher staring silently
into the camera from a darkened corridor
- The All-American Sweethearts
posing arrogantly with the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championships
- Leslie Grimes preparing for
tonight’s Proving Grounds match
- Dominic Marconi throwing heavy
strikes during a recent brawl
- Chloe Parker and Dixie Caverns
glaring at the champions from opposite sides of the ring
Sam
Duffy:
“Tonight, the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championships will be defended in our main
event as the All-American Sweethearts put the gold on the line against Chloe
Parker and Dixie Caverns!”
Rick
Granger:
“America’s team, Sam! Role models! Inspirational athletes!”
Sam
Duffy: “That
may be the first time in wrestling history anyone has called them
inspirational.”
The crowd
cheers as another graphic flashes across the screen.
PROVING
GROUNDS DEBUT
JOY MONROE VS LESLIE GRIMES
Sam
Duffy: “We’ll
also see another new athlete attempt to make her mark in HCW as Joy Monroe
steps into Proving Grounds competition tonight against the dangerous and
unpredictable Leslie Grimes.”
Rick
Granger: “I
love Proving Grounds. Nothing exposes people faster. You either belong in HCW…
or you don’t.”
Another
graphic flashes:
JETT
STERLING VS DIEGO ESTRELLA
NON-TITLE MATCH
Sam
Duffy: “And
despite his objections earlier today, United States Champion Jett Sterling WILL
compete tonight against Diego Estrella.”
Rick
Granger: “Objections?
The man simply understands his value! Champions should not be forced to wrestle
every single week for free!”
Sam
Duffy: “Nobody
said anything about free, Rick.”
Rick
Granger: “You
know what I mean. Funny how Owen suddenly found a movie career the second Jett
Sterling embarrassed him.”
A final
graphic appears:
ADRIAN
CIPHER HAS A MESSAGE FOR JET MORENO
The crowd
buzzes loudly.
Sam
Duffy: “And we
are continuing to monitor the increasingly disturbing situation involving
Adrian Cipher and Jet Moreno. Cipher’s warnings have become more personal and
more ominous with every passing week.”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s because Jet Moreno treats wrestling like a stunt show. Adrian Cipher
understands consequences.”
The lights
inside the Columbia Coliseum dim slightly as a gritty guitar riff begins
echoing throughout the arena.
The crowd
immediately turns hostile.
Sam
Duffy: “And
here we go with our opening contest of the evening — Proving Grounds
competition.”
Rick
Granger: “You
can hear this crowd already turning on Leslie Grimes.”
Sam
Duffy: “Well
Rick, Leslie’s had a rough couple of weeks and frankly she hasn’t exactly
handled it well.”
Leslie
Grimes storms out onto the stage wearing a frustrated expression, jaw clenched
tightly as she marches toward the ring. She ignores the fans completely while
pacing near ringside before climbing onto the apron.
Instead of
entering immediately, Leslie demands a microphone from ringside personnel.
The crowd
buzzes loudly.
Rick
Granger: “Oh
boy… this should be pleasant.”
Leslie
steps into the ring and slowly looks around at the crowd before speaking.
Leslie
Grimes:
“You people wanna know what HCW thinks of Leslie Grimes?”
Boos rain
down immediately.
Leslie
Grimes:
“Every single week it’s the same thing. New girl walks in… management throws
her at me… and suddenly I’m supposed to be the measuring stick.”
She points
angrily toward the entrance stage.
Leslie
Grimes:
“I am NOT some stepping stone for every hopeful rookie that walks through that
curtain!”
The crowd
cheers loudly.
Leslie
Grimes:
“And now I’ve got people lurking around watching every move I make waiting for
me to fail…”
Leslie
pauses for a second, visibly irritated.
Sam
Duffy: “I
think we all know who she’s talking about there.”
Rick
Granger:
“Maybe she’s got a point.”
Leslie
tosses the microphone aside as the crowd continues booing.
“Ladies
and gentlemen… the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a PROVING
GROUNDS MATCH!”
The crowd
cheers as Tony Calibur stands proudly in the center of the ring.
Tony
Calibur:
“Introducing first… already in the ring… from Asheville, North Carolina… LESLIE
GRIMES!”
Mixed boos
continue raining down as Leslie leans impatiently against the ropes.
The arena
suddenly bursts to life with bright pink-and-electric-blue lighting as upbeat
pop-rock music hits the speakers.
The crowd
erupts into cheers.
Sam
Duffy: “And
now we are about to get our first look at Joy Monroe here in Heritage
Championship Wrestling!”
Rick
Granger: “Big
moment for her right here, Sam. Proving Grounds either makes people… or exposes
them.”
Joy Monroe
bursts out onto the stage full of energy, smiling confidently as she points
toward the crowd before jogging from one side of the stage to the other.
Joy slaps
hands with fans at ringside before stopping near the entrance ramp and taking a
deep breath while staring directly at the ring.
Sam
Duffy: “You
can already feel the confidence from this young woman.”
Rick
Granger:
“Confidence is easy before the bell rings.”
Joy runs
toward the ring and slides underneath the bottom rope before quickly popping to
her feet.
Tony
Calibur:
“And her opponent… making her HCW debut tonight… from Sacramento, California…
JOY MONROE!”
The crowd
cheers loudly as Joy raises both arms confidently from the middle turnbuckle.
Referee
“Honest” Abe checks both competitors before calling for the bell.
DING DING
DING!
Leslie
immediately charges forward aggressively, clearly trying to overwhelm the
newcomer early, but Joy surprises her almost instantly with a quick cartwheel
into a sharp superkick that snaps Leslie backward and sends the crowd roaring
in approval.
Sam
Duffy: “WOW!
What a start for Joy Monroe!”
Rick
Granger:
“Alright… maybe she DOES belong here.”
Leslie
quickly regroups and fires back with a diving crossbody moments later, but Joy
responds with an impressive blend of power and athleticism, planting Leslie
repeatedly with twisting Samoan drops and an explosive Ushigoroshi that shocks
the crowd.
As the
match continues, Leslie’s veteran instincts slowly begin taking over.
Hair
mares… roll-ups… Lou Thesz presses… Leslie begins dragging the pace into her
style of fight while repeatedly trying to frustrate Joy and throw her off
rhythm.
Sam
Duffy: “You
can see Leslie trying to pull this match into deeper waters now.”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s experience, Sam. Leslie Grimes knows exactly how to survive.”
Joy
refuses to back down, however, repeatedly answering Leslie’s offense with
explosive counters and high-impact offense of her own, including a beautiful
step-up enzuigiri and a thunderous Babe Bomb Gutwrench Powerbomb that nearly
ends the match.
The crowd
rises louder and louder behind the debuting Monroe.
Late in
the match, Leslie begins building serious momentum.
A running
clothesline drops Joy hard to the mat.
A
moonsault connects.
Another
roll-up nearly steals the victory.
Leslie
smirks confidently as she grabs Joy by the hair and pulls her toward the
corner.
Then
suddenly…
The crowd
begins buzzing loudly.
Leslie
freezes.
Sam
Duffy: “Wait a
second…”
Leslie
slowly turns toward the entrance stage.
The camera
cuts toward the ramp.
Standing
silently near the stage…
Avery St.
Claire.
The crowd
erupts.
Rick
Granger: “Oh
come on…”
Avery says
absolutely nothing.
She simply
stares directly at Leslie Grimes.
Leslie’s
expression immediately changes from confidence… to anger.
Sam
Duffy: “And
Avery St. Claire may have just entered Leslie Grimes’ head again!”
Leslie
begins shouting toward the stage.
That
moment of hesitation is all Joy Monroe needs.
Joy
suddenly explodes forward with a running senton before catching Leslie moments
later with a breathtaking moonsault to the floor that sends both women crashing
hard near ringside!
The crowd
explodes into cheers.
Sam
Duffy: “GOOD
LORD!”
Both women
remain down briefly as referee Honest Abe begins counting.
1!
2!
3!
4!
5!
6!
7!
Joy slowly
pulls herself up using the barricade.
8!
9!
Leslie
desperately scrambles toward the ring—
—but
barely misses the count.
DING DING
DING!
Sam
Duffy: “She
didn’t make it!”
Rick
Granger:
“Leslie took her eye off the match!”
Tony
Calibur:
“Here is your winner by count-out… JOY MONROE!”
The crowd
erupts as Joy Monroe drops to one knee in exhaustion before realizing she has
officially won her HCW debut.
Meanwhile,
Leslie Grimes pounds the mat furiously outside the ring before glaring toward
Avery St. Claire, who simply smirks from the stage before turning and walking
backstage.
Sam
Duffy: “An
incredible debut for Joy Monroe tonight!”
Rick
Granger:
“Yeah, but Leslie Grimes is going to blame Avery St. Claire for every second of
this.”
The camera
cuts backstage to Larry Morton standing inside the Voltage interview area with
an HCW microphone in hand. The HCW Voltage logo glows brightly across a monitor
behind him while fans can still be heard cheering faintly from inside the arena
after Joy Monroe’s victory.
Larry
Morton:
“Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time… Mr. X.”
A few
scattered boos can already be heard from the crowd watching on the Omegatron.
Moments
later, Mr. X slowly steps into frame wearing a long black coat and dark gloves,
his expression completely unreadable beneath the shadows cast across his face.
Larry
tries to maintain composure.
Larry
Morton:
“Mr. X, later tonight you go one-on-one with Dominic Marconi in what many
people see as an important opportunity for both competitors—”
Mr. X
slowly turns his head toward Larry.
Larry
immediately stops talking.
Mr. X:
“Opportunity?”
Mr. X lets
the word hang in the air for a moment.
Mr. X:
“You people continue using that word as if I am the one who needs proving.”
The crowd
boos loudly from the arena.
Mr. X:
“Dominic Marconi is the one fighting for relevance. Dominic Marconi is the one
trying to convince the world his family still matters.”
Mr. X
steps slightly closer to the camera.
Mr. X:
“But me?”
A cold
smirk slowly forms across his face.
Mr. X:
“I stopped asking for respect a long time ago.”
Larry
Morton:
“Well Dominic Marconi has built a reputation around toughness and resilience
and—”
Mr. X
suddenly snatches the microphone directly out of Larry’s hand.
The crowd
reacts loudly.
Mr. X:
“Toughness?”
Mr. X
shakes his head dismissively.
Mr. X:
“Tough men break too.”
The room
falls silent.
Mr. X:
“And tonight… Dominic Marconi finds out exactly what happens when pride steps
into the ring with something far more dangerous.”
Mr. X
slowly hands the microphone back to Larry before staring directly into the
camera one final time.
Mr. X:
“Tonight… the Marconi name cracks.”
Mr. X
walks out of frame without another word.
Larry
exhales deeply and straightens his jacket.
Larry
Morton:
“Well… Mr. X takes on Dominic Marconi later tonight here on HCW Voltage.”
Sam
Duffy:
“I don’t care who you are, there is something deeply unsettling about Mr. X.”
Rick
Granger:
“I think he’s honest, Sam. Dominic Marconi’s walking into a dangerous situation
tonight.”
A bizarre
off-key patriotic rock anthem suddenly blasts throughout the arena.
The crowd
immediately begins booing.
Sam
Duffy: “Oh
no…”
Rick
Granger: “YES!
Here come two of the sharpest minds in professional wrestling today!”
Sam
Duffy: “You
cannot possibly believe that.”
The camera
cuts toward the stage as Doofus Covfefe stumbles out wearing an oversized red
tie and a jacket several sizes too large while wildly pointing toward random
sections of the crowd.
Beside
him, Waldo 'Peter' Winchester awkwardly claps and nods enthusiastically.
Doofus
grabs a microphone while still walking toward the ring.
Doofus
Covfefe:
“Many people are saying this tag team… maybe the greatest tag team ever
assembled. Tremendous team. Maybe better than teams from the past. Maybe ever.
Nobody knows more about teamwork than me.”
The crowd
boos loudly.
Doofus
Covfefe:
“These fans? Sad. Very sad people. They come here tonight hoping for excitement
but what they’re getting… is leadership.”
Rick
Granger: “He’s
got a point.”
Sam
Duffy: “No he
doesn’t.”
Doofus
points wildly toward the hard camera.
Doofus
Covfefe:
“We had thousands and thousands of people outside tonight trying to get in.
Biggest crowd in Voltage history. They said so backstage. Everybody said so.”
Waldo nods
aggressively despite clearly having no idea what Doofus is talking about.
Sam
Duffy: “None
of that is true.”
Rick
Granger: “Can
you prove it?”
Doofus
suddenly stops and squints suspiciously toward ringside.
Doofus
Covfefe:
“And frankly… I saw Joe Sanders earlier. Very low energy. Very weak. Sad
muscles.”
The crowd
bursts into laughter.
Doofus and
Waldo finally climb into the ring as the boos continue pouring down.
The mood
instantly shifts as heavy guitar riffs thunder through the arena speakers.
The crowd
erupts into cheers.
Joe 'Jack
Hammer' Sanders storms onto the stage first, intense and focused, while Noah
'High Flyer' Murphy follows close behind slapping hands with fans along the
entrance ramp.
Sam
Duffy: “Now
THIS is a team ready for a fight.”
Rick
Granger: “Oh
sure, now everybody loves ‘em because they don’t tell the truth.”
Sanders
points directly toward the ring while Noah smirks confidently at the ridiculous
behavior from their opponents.
The two
men slide into the ring as Doofus immediately backs into the corner pretending
to negotiate with referee Honest Abe.
DING DING
DING!
Noah
Murphy starts the match aggressively, immediately blasting Doofus Covfefe with
a sharp high knee followed moments later by a lightning-fast superkick that
nearly spins Doofus completely around.
The crowd
roars.
Sam
Duffy: “And
Noah Murphy wasting absolutely no time tonight!”
Rick
Granger:
“Illegal kicking motion, Sam!”
Sam
Duffy: “That’s
not a thing!”
Doofus
desperately tags out to Waldo Winchester, who charges in with wild energy
before immediately running into a brutal uppercut clothesline from Joe Sanders
that nearly folds him in half.
The match
quickly settles into chaotic comedy.
Waldo and
Doofus repeatedly try sneaky double-team attacks.
Doofus
distracts the referee by loudly accusing Noah Murphy of “fake wrestling
statistics.”
Waldo
randomly celebrates near falls that never happened.
At one
point, Doofus loudly demands a recount after getting knocked off the apron.
Doofus
Covfefe:
“We won that exchange by a lot!”
Sam
Duffy: “You
weren’t even legal!”
Rick
Granger:
“Debatable!”
Despite
the nonsense, Sanders and Murphy remain focused and increasingly physical.
Noah
repeatedly overwhelms Waldo with explosive offense including German suplexes,
enzuigiris, and calf kicks while Sanders punishes both opponents with heavy
corner strikes and stiff forearms.
Late in
the match, chaos erupts as all four men spill into the ring simultaneously.
Waldo
lands a surprise destroyer.
Doofus
follows with an awkward leg trip while loudly shouting: “Perfect technique! Beautiful technique!”
The crowd
boos heavily.
But the
momentum shift does not last long.
Noah
Murphy regains control with a devastating powerbomb before tagging out to Joe
Sanders.
The crowd
rises to their feet.
Sam
Duffy:
“Business is about to pick up!”
Sanders
explodes across the ring with a series of hammering corner forearms that
absolutely crush Waldo against the turnbuckles.
He falls to the mat.
The
referee quickly steps in as Joe makes the cover.
1-2-3.
DING DING
DING!
Sam
Duffy:
“That’ll do it!”
Rick
Granger:
“Waldo was unfairly cornered!”
Tony
Calibur:
“Here are your winners… the team of Joe ‘Jack Hammer’ Sanders and Noah ‘High
Flyer’ Murphy!”
The crowd
cheers loudly as Sanders raises Noah’s arm in victory.
Meanwhile
outside the ring, Doofus Covfefe loudly argues with referee Honest Abe while
Waldo nods in total agreement despite clearly being exhausted.
Doofus
Covfefe:
“We actually won if you count the legal points!”
Sam
Duffy: “I have
absolutely no idea what that means.”
Rick
Granger: “I
think he’s talking about moral victories, Sam.”
Sam
Duffy: “Well
physically they just lost a very real one.”
Sanders
and Murphy celebrate with the crowd as Voltage heads to commercial break.
The screen
suddenly cuts to black.
A low
distorted hum begins playing softly in the background.
Static
flickers across the screen.
For
several seconds… nothing appears except darkness.
Then
finally…
A dim
overhead light slowly fades on.
Adrian
Cipher sits alone in a wooden chair inside what appears to be an abandoned
industrial room. Cracked concrete walls surround him while faint water drips
echo somewhere in the distance.
Cipher’s
head remains lowered.
The camera
slowly pushes forward.
Adrian
Cipher:
“Some men mistake recklessness… for freedom.”
Cipher
slowly lifts his eyes toward the camera.
Adrian
Cipher:
“They leap before they think.”
A faint
smirk crosses his face.
Adrian
Cipher:
“They fly because people cheer.”
Quick
flashes interrupt the screen:
- Jet Moreno diving from the top
rope
- fans cheering wildly
- Jet posing confidently on the
turnbuckles
- flashes of camera bulbs exploding
in the darkness
The
footage suddenly cuts back to Cipher.
Adrian
Cipher:
“Jet Moreno believes the world rewards risk.”
Cipher
slowly stands from the chair.
The
overhead light swings slightly above him.
Adrian
Cipher:
“But every fall…”
Cipher
begins slowly walking toward the camera.
Adrian
Cipher:
“Every mistake…”
The static
grows louder.
Adrian
Cipher:
“Every reckless little moment…”
Cipher
stops inches from the camera lens.
His eyes
remain completely calm.
Adrian
Cipher:
“Gravity always collects its debt.”
The screen
abruptly cuts to black.
A loud
burst of static hits the speakers.
Then
silence.
Sam
Duffy:
“Adrian Cipher sends chills down my spine every time he speaks.”
Rick
Granger:
“He’s not wrong, Sam. Jet Moreno wrestles like somebody who thinks he’s
invincible.”
Sam
Duffy:
“Well eventually we may find out exactly what happens when Jet Moreno and
Adrian Cipher finally collide.”
Golden
lights suddenly flood the arena.
Boos rain
down immediately.
Sam
Duffy:
“Earlier tonight we heard from United States Champion Jett Sterling and he
certainly didn’t sound thrilled about competing here tonight.”
Rick
Granger:
“Because he’s a champion, Sam! Champions should not have to waste their energy
every single week proving themselves to people beneath them!”
The lights
suddenly dim.
A fast
Latin-inspired electronic beat explodes through the speakers.
The crowd
erupts into cheers.
Sam
Duffy: “And
listen to this reaction for Diego Estrella!”
Diego
Estrella bursts out onto the stage full of energy, pointing toward the crowd
before sprinting down the entrance ramp.
Diego
slides underneath the bottom rope and immediately pops to his feet getting the
fans pumped up for this match.
“Gold
Standard” blasts throughout the Scrooge Resorts Columbia Coliseum™ as Jett
Sterling confidently steps onto the stage with the United States Championship
draped over his shoulder.
Jett
smirks arrogantly while slowly raising the title high into the air.
The crowd
boos loudly.
Sam
Duffy:
“Whether you like him or not, Jett Sterling has quickly become one of the most
arrogant athletes in all of HCW.”
Rick
Granger:
“Correction — confident.”
Jett
slowly walks toward the ring while mocking fans along the entrance ramp before
climbing onto the apron and posing dramatically on the middle turnbuckle.
He removes
the championship and carefully hands it to ringside personnel as if nobody else
is worthy of touching it.
Rick
Granger: “Diego
may be excited now. Let’s see how excited he is after ten minutes in there with
Jett Sterling.”
Referee
Honest Abe signals for the bell.
DING DING
DING!
“Gold
Standard” blasts throughout the Scrooge Resorts Columbia Coliseum™ as Jett
Sterling confidently steps onto the stage with the United States Championship
draped over his shoulder.
Jett

The crowd
boos loudly.
Sam

Jett

climbing onto the apron and posing dramatically on the middle turnbuckle.
He removes
the championship and carefully hands it to ringside personnel as if nobody else

And
immediately…
Diego
Estrella shocks the United States Champion.
A
lightning-fast Northern Lights suplex catches Jett completely off guard and
sends the crowd roaring almost instantly.
Sam
Duffy: “What a
start by Diego Estrella!”
Rick
Granger:
“Lucky opening exchange!”
Jett
quickly scrambles backward toward the ropes, visibly irritated already as Diego
continues pressing the pace with explosive speed and relentless striking.
The match
quickly turns into an athletic showcase.
Jett fires
back with hard lariats, standing moonsaults, and his signature Three Amigos
sequence, repeatedly slowing Diego down whenever momentum begins slipping away.
But Diego
refuses to stay down.
Corkscrew
roundhouse kicks.
Northern
Lights suplexes.
A
breathtaking corkscrew moonsault plancha to the outside sends Jett crashing
hard near the barricade while the crowd explodes.
Sam
Duffy: “Diego
Estrella is taking the fight TO the United States Champion tonight!”
Rick
Granger: “Jett
Sterling underestimated him. Clearly.”
As the
match continues, Jett’s frustration becomes more and more obvious.
He argues
constantly with referee Honest Abe.
He yells
at fans near ringside.
He
repeatedly demands Diego “stay down.”
Meanwhile
Diego continues matching him move for move.
A
devastating recoil single-leg facebuster nearly scores a shocking upset midway
through the match.
Later, a
spinning Michinoku Driver drops Jett directly onto the back of his head and
nearly ends the match entirely.
Sam
Duffy: “Diego
Estrella is proving he belongs on this stage!”
Rick
Granger: “Jett
just needs one opening. One mistake.”
Late in
the match, desperation begins creeping into Jett Sterling’s offense.
He
repeatedly traps Diego in the Figure Four Leglock trying to slow him down.
He forces
the pace.
He starts
wrestling angry.
But Diego
continues surviving.
Then
finally—
Diego
explodes off the ropes.
A jumping
corkscrew roundhouse kick connects flush.
The crowd
rises to its feet.
Jett
stumbles backward.
Diego
immediately sprints toward the corner…
630
SENTON!
The arena
absolutely ERUPTS.
Sam
Duffy: “HE HIT
IT!”
Diego
hooks the leg tightly.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING
DING!
The crowd
explodes into cheers.
Sam
Duffy: “DIEGO
ESTRELLA JUST PINNED THE UNITED STATES CHAMPION!”
Rick
Granger: “No
no no no—”
Sam
Duffy: “What
an unbelievable upset here on Voltage!”
Diego
rolls onto his knees in complete shock while referee Honest Abe raises his arm
in victory.
Tony
Calibur:
“Here is your winner… DIEGO ESTRELLA!”
The crowd
roars even louder.
Meanwhile,
Jett Sterling sits in the corner completely stunned.
Then
suddenly…
His
expression changes.
From
shock…
To rage.
Jett
suddenly explodes forward and blindsides Diego Estrella from behind!
The crowd
erupts with boos.
Sam
Duffy: “Oh
come on!”
Jett
begins stomping Diego repeatedly into the mat while screaming at him.
Jett
Sterling:
“You embarrassed ME?!”
Jett grabs
Diego and throws him violently into the turnbuckles before unloading with
furious punches.
Referee
Honest Abe desperately tries pulling Jett away but gets shoved aside.
Rick
Granger: “Jett
Sterling has completely lost his temper!”
Jett grabs
Diego again and drills him with a brutal lariat before continuing the assault.
Finally
several HCW officials and referees sprint down toward the ring.
Sam
Duffy: “This
is ridiculous!”
Three
officials struggle to hold Jett Sterling back as he continues screaming and
trying to break free.
Jett
Sterling:
“He got lucky! HE GOT LUCKY!”
Diego
slowly pulls himself up in the corner while the crowd loudly chants:
“DIE-GO!
DIE-GO! DIE-GO!”
Jett
completely loses composure hearing the chant.
It takes
multiple referees to finally force the furious United States Champion out of
the ring while fans continue booing heavily.
Sam
Duffy: “Diego
Estrella may have just scored the biggest victory of his HCW career tonight!”
Rick
Granger: “And
now everybody in HCW better watch out because an angry Jett Sterling is a
dangerous man.”
Voltage
heads to commercial as Jett continues shouting from the entrance ramp while
Diego receives a standing ovation inside the ring.
The camera
cuts backstage to the HCW Voltage interview area where Larry Morton stands with
a microphone in hand.
Beside him
are Chris 'Thunderstrike' Thompson and Mike 'the Rebel' Matthews — The Dynamic
Duo.
The crowd
reaction from inside the arena is noticeably mixed, leaning negative.
Larry
Morton:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m joined at this time by the Dynamic Duo. Gentlemen,
over the past several weeks tensions have continued building between
yourselves, Duke Knight, and Biceps Bannerman.”
Mike
Matthews smirks arrogantly.
Mike
'the Rebel' Matthews:
“Tensions? Larry, there’s no tension. There’s jealousy.”
The crowd
boos.
Chris
Thompson nods confidently.
Chris
'Thunderstrike' Thompson:
“Duke Knight and Biceps Bannerman can pretend they’re the toughest guys in HCW
all they want, but everybody knows exactly what this is.”
Mike
laughs.
Mike
'the Rebel' Matthews:
“They don’t like the fact that people pay attention to us.”
The boos
grow louder.
Mike
'the Rebel' Matthews:
“We walk through that curtain and the crowd reacts.”
Chris
shrugs mockingly.
Chris
'Thunderstrike' Thompson:
“Some guys got charisma. Some guys got personality. Some guys look like they
bench press refrigerators for fun.”
Chris
glances directly into the camera.
Chris
'Thunderstrike' Thompson:
“And some guys got all three.”
Larry
Morton:
“So are you two saying you don’t take Duke Knight and Biceps Bannerman
seriously?”
Mike
scoffs loudly.
Mike
'the Rebel' Matthews:
“Oh we take them seriously.”
Chris
smirks.
Chris
'Thunderstrike' Thompson:
“We just don’t think they’re on OUR level.”
The crowd
boos heavily.
Suddenly
the noise level backstage changes.
The crowd
inside the arena begins cheering loudly.
Biceps
Bannerman storms into frame.
Right
behind him is Duke Knight.
The
Dynamic Duo immediately stop smiling.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“You boys done talking?”
The crowd
pops loudly.
Mike
Matthews sarcastically claps.
Mike
'the Rebel' Matthews:
“Oh good. The motivational poster squad showed up.”
Biceps
immediately steps closer.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“You got something to say, say it standing in front of us.”
Chris
Thompson steps directly toward Duke Knight.
Chris
'Thunderstrike' Thompson:
“We already are.”
The
tension spikes immediately.
Duke
Knight:
“You two spend more time trying to entertain people than fighting.”
Mike
smirks.
Mike
'the Rebel' Matthews:
“And yet everybody’s still talking about us.”
Biceps
Bannerman:
“Trust me… once we get our hands on you…”
Biceps
points directly at both men.
Biceps
Bannerman:
“People are gonna stop laughing.”
Chris
suddenly shoves Duke Knight hard in the chest.
The crowd
erupts.
Biceps
immediately lunges toward Mike Matthews.
Now
everyone is yelling at once.
Larry
Morton:
“Hey! HEY!”
Officials
and referees immediately rush into frame trying to separate both teams before
punches fully break loose.
Sam
Duffy:
“This thing is about to explode backstage!”
Rick
Granger:
“Good! I’m tired of Duke and Biceps acting like they own this division!”
Biceps
breaks free briefly and nearly gets at Mike again before multiple referees drag
him backward.
Meanwhile
Duke Knight and Chris Thompson continue jawing at each other from inches away.
Duke
Knight:
“You want the match?!”
Chris
'Thunderstrike' Thompson:
“You can’t handle the match!”
The crowd
roars loudly.
Finally
security manages to force both teams apart in opposite directions.
The
Dynamic Duo continue talking trash while backing away down the hallway.
Mike
'the Rebel' Matthews:
“Stay mad!”
Biceps
tries breaking loose again as Duke restrains him.
Sam
Duffy:
“These four men are heading toward a collision sooner rather than later.”
Rick
Granger:
“And I cannot wait.”
The arena
lights dim slowly.
A cold
mechanical hum begins echoing throughout the Scrooge Resorts Columbia Coliseum™
as dark shadows pulse across the Omegatron.
The crowd
immediately begins booing.
Sam
Duffy:
“Earlier tonight we heard from Mr. X and I’ll tell you right now — that man
gives me a bad feeling.”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s because he’s dangerous, Sam.”
Mr. X
slowly emerges onto the stage wearing his long black coat, moving with calm,
deliberate steps toward the ring.
No
emotion.
No wasted
movement.
Just
focus.
Sam
Duffy:
“Everything about Mr. X feels calculated.”
Rick
Granger: “And
that’s exactly why people fear him.”
Mr. X
steps into the ring and slowly removes his gloves while staring directly toward
the entrance stage.
The mood
instantly shifts as classic Italian-inspired rock music hits the speakers.
The crowd
erupts into cheers.
Sam
Duffy: “And
here comes one of the proudest competitors in HCW — Dominic Marconi!”
Dominic
Marconi storms onto the stage and points toward the crowd before marching
toward the ring with intensity written across his face.
Rick
Granger: “You
wanna talk about pressure? Dominic Marconi’s carrying his entire family legacy
every time he walks out here.”
Sam
Duffy: “And I
think he embraces that pressure.”
Dominic
slaps hands with fans at ringside before climbing into the ring and immediately
getting nose-to-nose with Mr. X.
The crowd
buzzes loudly.
DING DING
DING!
The match
immediately turns physical.
Mr. X
opens aggressively with vicious bare-foot kicks and sharp martial arts strikes,
trying to cut Dominic down early with precise offense aimed directly at the
ribs and legs.
But
Dominic refuses to back away.
Figure-four
armbars.
Hip rolls.
Flying
dropkicks.
Dominic
repeatedly answers every attack with toughness and grit.
Sam
Duffy:
“Dominic Marconi is standing toe-to-toe with Mr. X!”
Rick
Granger: “And
that may not be the smartest strategy.”
The pace
remains deliberate and punishing throughout.
Mr. X
constantly targets openings with cold precision while Dominic continues
dragging the fight into close-range exchanges built around pride and
resilience.
Several
times Mr. X appears ready to pull away.
Several
times Dominic fires right back.
A huge
backbreaker nearly forces Mr. X to submit.
Flying
dropkicks rock Mr. X backward.
Heavy
forearms echo throughout the arena.
The crowd
begins rallying loudly behind Dominic.
Sam
Duffy: “You
can feel this crowd getting behind the Marconi fighting spirit!”
Rick
Granger: “And
Mr. X keeps trying to beat it OUT of him.”
Midway
through the match, the intensity rises even further.
Mr. X
repeatedly catches Dominic with brutal turnaround sidekicks and sharp chops
directly to the chest.
But
Dominic continues surviving.
A Boston
Crab nearly forces Mr. X into serious trouble late in the contest.
The crowd
rises to its feet.
Sam
Duffy:
“Dominic Marconi refuses to quit!”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s pride, Sam. Sometimes pride gets you hurt.”
Late in
the match both men are exhausted.
Dominic
attempts another aggressive exchange—
—but Mr. X
suddenly counters with a devastating bare-foot kick directly to the side of the
head.
The impact
drops Dominic instantly.
The crowd
gasps.
Mr. X
slowly hooks the leg (and a handful of tights).
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING
DING!
Sam
Duffy: “And
Mr. X survives a war tonight against Dominic Marconi!”
Rick
Granger: “That
wasn’t survival, Sam. That was precision.”
Tony
Calibur:
“Here is your winner… MR. X!”
The crowd
boos heavily as Mr. X slowly rises to his feet.
Meanwhile
Dominic Marconi rolls toward the ropes, clearly exhausted but still trying to
pull himself back upward.
Sam
Duffy: “I’ll
say this — Dominic Marconi may have lost tonight, but he proved he belongs as a
singles competitor.”
Rick
Granger:
“Maybe. But Mr. X proved something too.”
Mr. X
stands over Dominic briefly before slowly backing away toward the corner.
Then—
Mr. X
begins laughing quietly to himself.
The crowd
boos louder.
Sam
Duffy: “That’s
unsettling.”
Mr. X
suddenly snatches a microphone from ringside.
Mr. X:
“You cheer effort…”
Mr. X
looks down toward Dominic.
Mr. X:
“But effort changes nothing.”
The crowd
boos loudly.
Mr. X:
“Pride breaks.”
Mr. X
tosses the microphone aside before stepping out of the ring and walking calmly
backstage while Dominic slowly rises to a standing ovation from the crowd.
Sam
Duffy:
“Dominic Marconi earned the respect of these fans tonight.”
Rick
Granger:
“And Mr. X reminded everyone exactly how dangerous he can be.”
The camera
cuts backstage to the HCW Voltage interview area where Larry Morton stands with
a microphone in hand.
Beside him
are the reigning Iron Maidens Tag Team Champions — Ainsley America and Leepurty
Belle — collectively known as The All-American Sweethearts.
Both women
are dressed in exaggerated red, white, and blue ring jackets while proudly
displaying the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championships over their shoulders.
The crowd
reaction from inside the arena is overwhelmingly negative.
Larry
Morton:
“Ladies and gentlemen, joining me at this time are the Iron Maidens Tag Team
Champions, the All-American Sweethearts. Ladies, tonight you defend the
championships against Chloe Parker and Dixie Caverns in our main event.”
Ainsley
America gasps dramatically.
Ainsley
America:
“Oh Larry… please.”
Leepurty
Belle rolls her eyes.
Leepurty
Belle:
“You say that like it’s supposed to intimidate us.”
The crowd
boos loudly.
Ainsley
adjusts her title belt proudly.
Ainsley
America:
“Do you know what these championships represent?”
Ainsley
places her hand over her heart theatrically.
Ainsley
America:
“True American excellence.”
More boos.
Leepurty
Belle:
“Not bitterness.”
Ainsley
America:
“Not jealousy.”
Leepurty
Belle:
“And definitely not whatever Chloe Parker and Dixie Caverns are supposed to
be.”
The
Sweethearts laugh smugly together.
Larry
Morton:
“Well Chloe and Dixie have certainly built momentum recently and many people
believe—”
Ainsley
suddenly cuts Larry off.
Ainsley
America:
“Momentum?”
Ainsley
laughs dramatically.
Ainsley
America:
“Larry, half this division dresses like they got lost at a roadside flea
market.”
The crowd
boos heavily.
Leepurty
Belle:
“And the other half wrestle like they’re auditioning for community theater.”
Ainsley
smirks directly into the camera.
Ainsley
America:
“Meanwhile WE look like champions.”
Leepurty
Belle proudly raises her title belt.
Leepurty
Belle:
“We sound like champions.”
Ainsley
nods confidently.
Ainsley
America:
“And most importantly…”
Both women
smile arrogantly toward the camera.
The
All-American Sweethearts:
“We WIN like champions.”
The crowd
boos loudly.
Larry
Morton:
“Regardless of what you think about the challengers, tonight may be your
toughest defense yet.”
Leepurty
Belle scoffs loudly.
Leepurty
Belle:
“Toughest defense?”
Ainsley
waves dismissively.
Ainsley
America:
“Larry, this division should be thanking us.”
The crowd
continues booing.
Ainsley
America:
“Before us, these titles were just belts.”
Leepurty
Belle nods.
Leepurty
Belle:
“Now they mean something.”
Ainsley
America:
“Class.”
Leepurty
Belle:
“Beauty.”
Ainsley
America:
“Patriotism.”
Leepurty
Belle:
“And superiority.”
Larry
Morton:
“Well the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championships will be defended tonight in our
main event.”
The
Sweethearts walk off still talking loudly to each other about “American
greatness” while the crowd boos heavily from inside the arena.
Sam
Duffy:
“They may be champions, but they are absolutely insufferable.”
Rick
Granger:
“They’re successful, Sam. That’s what bothers people.”
Sam
Duffy:
“I think it’s more the attitude.”
Rick
Granger:
“Greatness intimidates people.”
The lights
inside the Columbia Coliseum dim slightly as heavy southern rock music begins
playing throughout the arena.
The crowd
erupts into cheers.
Sam
Duffy: “It is
now time for our main event!”
Chloe
Parker steps onto the stage first with a focused expression while Dixie Caverns
follows close behind, slapping hands with fans along the entrance ramp.
Rick
Granger:
“Interesting team here tonight, Sam. Chloe Parker and Dixie Caverns don’t
exactly scream long-term chemistry.”
Sam
Duffy: “Maybe
not, but both women know this is a huge opportunity.”
Chloe and
Dixie stop briefly at the stage before staring directly toward the ring.
The crowd
cheers loudly again as both challengers march toward ringside with intensity.
Inside the
ring, Tony Calibur stands proudly in the center holding the microphone.
Tony
Calibur:
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall… and it is for the HCW Iron
Maidens Tag Team Championship!”
The crowd
cheers loudly.
Tony
Calibur:
“Introducing first… the challengers…”
Chloe and
Dixie climb into the ring.
Tony
Calibur:
“At a combined weight of 281 pounds… the team of CHLOE PARKER… and DIXIE
CAVERNS!”
The crowd
cheers again as Chloe and Dixie raise their arms confidently.
Suddenly—
A massive
burst of red, white, and blue pyro explodes across the stage.
The crowd
immediately erupts with boos.
Bombastic
patriotic glam-rock music blasts through the arena as giant American flags wave
across the Omegatron.
Rick
Granger: “YES!
Stand up, Sam! Champions are arriving!”
Sam
Duffy: “I was
afraid of this…”
Ainsley
America and Leepurty Belle step onto the stage wearing sparkling
red-white-and-blue ring gear with the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championships
proudly displayed over their shoulders.
The
Sweethearts pause dramatically while soaking in the boos.
Then—
They
salute themselves.
Sam
Duffy: “Nobody
loves the All-American Sweethearts more than the All-American Sweethearts.”
Rick
Granger: “As
they should!”
The
Sweethearts slowly strut toward the ring while mockingly waving miniature
American flags toward fans near ringside.
Tony
Calibur:
“And their opponents…”
The crowd
boos loudly.
Tony
Calibur:
“At a combined weight of 247 pounds… they are the reigning… defending… HCW Iron
Maidens Tag Team Champions…”
Ainsley
and Leepurty raise the championships proudly.
Tony
Calibur:
“THE ALL-AMERICAN SWEETHEARTS!”
The
champions pose arrogantly on opposite turnbuckles while the challengers stare
at them with obvious irritation.
Referee
Honest Abe raises the championship belts high above the ring before handing
them off to ringside officials.
DING DING
DING!
And
immediately the challengers take the fight directly to the champions.
Chloe
Parker explodes out of the corner with a devastating piledriver onto Ainsley
America just seconds into the match, shocking the crowd.
Sam
Duffy: “What a
start by Chloe Parker!”
Rick
Granger:
“Illegal enthusiasm!”
The
challengers continue pushing the pace early with suplexes, diving crossbodies,
and aggressive teamwork that visibly frustrates the champions.
But
slowly…
The
Sweethearts begin taking control.
Cheap
tags.
Quick
distractions.
Frequent
double-teams.
Leepurty
Belle repeatedly taunts the crowd while Ainsley America cuts the ring in half
against Dixie Caverns.
Sam
Duffy: “The
challengers have to stay focused here because the Sweethearts are masters at
turning chaos into opportunity.”
Rick
Granger:
“That’s called strategy, Sam.”
The
champions repeatedly isolate Dixie while constantly forcing referee Honest Abe
to lose track of the legal competitor.
Midway
through the match, chaos erupts.
Both teams
begin double-teaming simultaneously.
Dixie and
Chloe nearly steal the match after a huge Somersault Ace Crusher and legsweep
combination sends Ainsley staggering backward.
The crowd
rises to its feet.
Sam
Duffy: “This
could be it!”
But
Ainsley survives with a sudden Star-Spangled Stunner completely out of nowhere
that changes the momentum instantly.
Late in
the match, the Sweethearts fully take over.
An
American Avalanche suicide dive sends Dixie crashing hard onto the floor
outside the ring.
Leepurty
Belle follows with another flashy takedown while taunting the crowd.
Referee
Honest Abe begins counting.
1!
2!
3!
4!
5!
6!
Dixie
desperately crawls toward the apron.
7!
8!
9!
Dixie
lunges—
—but
cannot make it back in time.
10!
DING DING
DING!
The crowd
boos heavily.
Sam
Duffy: “And
the champions retain!”
Rick
Granger:
“AMERICAN EXCELLENCE PREVAILS!”
Tony
Calibur:
“Here are your winners by count-out… and STILL HCW Iron Maidens Tag Team
Champions… THE ALL-AMERICAN SWEETHEARTS!”
The
Sweethearts immediately snatch their championship belts and begin celebrating
obnoxiously around the ring while Chloe Parker argues furiously with referee
Honest Abe.
Sam
Duffy: “Give
the challengers credit — they pushed the champions hard tonight.”
Rick
Granger:
“Close only counts in horseshoes and patriotism, Sam.”
The
Sweethearts stand on opposite turnbuckles waving miniature American flags while
the crowd rains boos down upon them.
Sam
Duffy:
“What a night it has been here on HCW Voltage!”
Rick
Granger:
“Joy Monroe survives Proving Grounds, Diego Estrella shocks the world by
pinning United States Champion Jett Sterling…in a NON-TITLE match, and the
All-American Sweethearts remain the queens of the Iron Maidens division!”
Sam
Duffy:
“But the fallout tonight may be even bigger than the victories themselves.
Leslie Grimes is unraveling because of Avery St. Claire, Jett Sterling
completely lost control after suffering that upset loss, and tensions between
the Dynamic Duo, Duke Knight, and Biceps Bannerman are nearing a boiling
point.”
Rick
Granger:
“And don’t forget Mr. X reminding everybody just how dangerous he really is.”
The camera
cuts briefly to:
- Joy Monroe celebrating earlier in
the night
- Jett Sterling being restrained by
officials
- Dominic Marconi recovering after
his hard-fought loss
- The Sweethearts posing arrogantly
with the championships
Sam
Duffy:
“For Rick Granger, I’m Sam Duffy saying thank you for joining us tonight for
HCW Voltage!”
Rick
Granger:
“God bless the champions!”
Sam
Duffy:
“…Goodnight everybody.”
The final
shot shows the All-American Sweethearts posing with the Iron Maidens Tag Team
Championships on the stage while fireworks explode behind them as HCW Voltage
fades off the air.
