HCW Wrestling Newsletter 2025 #1173 – 12/15 -  HCW Zero Hour Aftermath – WARGAMES!

HCW SPECIAL EDITION: WAR GAMES

December 15, 2025

VOICEOVER (J.R. Holland):
“Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another installment of the HCW Wrestling Newsletter.”

VOICEOVER (Clarkus Kentus):
“Tonight is not a weekly broadcast. Tonight is not business as usual. Tonight… is a reckoning.”

J.R. Holland (V.O.):
“For months, shadows have stretched across HCW.”

Clarkus Kentus (V.O.):
“And before the war erupts inside the cage… the Dark Dominion makes its first move.”

CUT TO: COUNT VLAD’S DOMAIN — EARLIER TONIGHT

(The crimson-lit chamber appears. Lanterns flicker against stone walls. Count Vlad stands at the center, hands folded behind his back.)

(Yeti. Feral. Wilber “TerrorFang” Townsend.)

(The segment “COUNT VLAD’S FAREWELL DECREE: THE THREE PATHS NORTH” airs exactly as written, uninterrupted.)

**COUNT VLAD’S FAREWELL DECREE

“THE THREE PATHS NORTH”**

The Dark Dominion’s private chamber is lit only by crimson lanterns. Count Vlad stands at the center in his long black coat, hands behind his back, the faintest smile sharp enough to slice through stone.

Before him stand Yeti, Feral, and Wilber “TerrorFang” Townsend — three warriors bound for the North.

Vlad steps forward, studying each of them with different eyes… each filled with a different expectation.

TO YETI & FERAL — THE LOYAL TITANS

Vlad’s voice softens, becoming something almost reverent.

Count Vlad:
“Yeti… Feral… my ever-faithful shadows.
You journey north not as exiles, but as harbingers.
The Dominion’s bloodline extends far beyond these walls, and now… the frostbitten kingdom of NPCW awaits your imprint.”

He rests a hand on Yeti’s massive forearm, unafraid.

Count Vlad:
“You have shown unwavering devotion.
You have fought with the strength of avalanches and the silence of the grave.
Now you shall do the same in the North.”

Feral bows her head. Vlad smiles.

Count Vlad:
“Spread our message.
Spread our fear.
Let the NPCW creatures believe they are witnessing your rise…
when in truth, they will be witnessing my reach.
Every match you fight, every alliance you forge, every howl you unleash…
carries the Dominion’s seal.”

He steps back.

Count Vlad:
“When the time comes, you will both be summoned home.
Until then… sow chaos.
And savor it.”

TO WILBER TOWNSEND — THE WAYWARD DISCIPLE

Then Vlad turns.
And the entire room changes temperature.

His tone is no longer warm — it is sharp, serpentine, intellectual.

Count Vlad:
“Wilber…”

Wilber swallows hard. Vlad circles him slowly, like he’s reading the pages of a book Wilber didn’t know he had written.

Count Vlad:
“You leave us not as a failure…
but as a project that must be completed in harsher climates.”

A chuckle.

Count Vlad:
“Up north, you will bow to Krampus.
You will fight beside him.
You will act as though his rule inspires you.”

Vlad finally stops behind Wilber — close enough that the Nightstalkers watching through the doorway would swear they saw Wilber shiver.

Count Vlad:
“But in truth…
you are going to undermine him.”

He places a hand on Wilber’s shoulder — heavy, but almost fatherly.

Count Vlad:
“Lilith is the true Alpha of the North.
She possesses the cruelty Krampus imitates and the clarity he lacks.
You will align yourself with her, quietly, carefully…
and when the moment is right…”

He raises one claw-like finger to Wilber’s chin and lifts it.

Count Vlad:
“…help her tear the crown from his skull.”

A pause.

Then the smile returns — colder than before.

Count Vlad:
“You will appear loyal to him.
You will defend him.
You will even bleed for him, if you must.
But your heart — what remains of it — belongs to the Dominion.”

Vlad steps away and folds his hands again behind his back.

THE CONNECTION TO THE DEMONIC LEGION

Count Vlad:
“And Wilber… one more task.”

He tilts his head thoughtfully.

Count Vlad:
“The Demonic Legion grows stronger.
Their shepherd, Grinch Heyman, is an opportunist…
the kind of man who thrives on whispers.”

A satisfied grin.

Count Vlad:
“Whisper to him.
Guide him.
Ensure that the bridges between the Legion and the Dominion widen…
until our shadows touch.”

His voice deepens.

Count Vlad:
“For when the Dominion rises again —
and it will rise —
we will need allies already poisoned by our presence.”

THE DISMISSAL

Vlad gives a final nod to all three.

Count Vlad:
“Go north.
Spread my will.
Return when summoned.”

He lifts his hand — two fingers raised like a blessing and a threat intertwined.

Count Vlad:
“And remember…
even far from home…
my eyes are on you.”

The lanterns flicker.
The room darkens.
When the light steadies again… Vlad is gone.

And the three chosen representatives stand alone, carrying the Dominion’s future into the frozen North.

(The lanterns flicker. Darkness.)

J.R. Holland:
“You can feel it already. Something has shifted.”

Clarkus Kentus:
“The Dark Dominion has sent three of its most dangerous forces north… and that tells us one thing.”

J.R. Holland:
“Whatever happens next… happens without restraint.”

Clarkus Kentus:
“And still to come tonight — War Games.”

J.R. Holland:
“Two rings. One cage. Ten men.”

Clarkus Kentus:
“A war that doesn’t end until someone breaks.”

RING ANNOUNCER — TONY CALIBUR

Description automatically generated

“The following contest is a Loser Leaves HCW Match, and it is to determine the number one contenders for the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championship!”

Red, white, and blue pyro detonates across the stage as a massive, slow-motion American flag ripples across the screen. Bombastic horns and glam-rock guitar kick in — “Stars, Stripes & Spotlight” by Liberty Siren.

Ainsley America and Leepurty Belle step through the smoke, saluting mock-seriously, basking in boos as if they’re cheers. They strut, pose, and toss miniature flags into the crowd with exaggerated pageantry, soaking in every second.

Clarkus Kentus:
“Subtlety has never been part of the All-American Sweethearts’ vocabulary.”

J.R. Holland:
“And tonight, they’re not just fighting for gold — they’re fighting to stay employed.”

The Sweethearts stop at the top of the ramp, turn, and salute again as fireworks erupt behind them. They march to the ring like conquering heroes, climb opposite corners, and raise their arms as if they’ve already won.

The lights dim. The music shifts — stripped-down, pulsing, aggressive. “No Second Chances” by Dead Reckoning Theory hits.

Felicia Cummings and Betsy Cummings emerge side by side. No poses. No smiles. Just focus.

They walk with purpose, eyes locked on the ring, slapping hands with no one. This isn’t about the crowd — it’s about survival.

J.R. Holland:
“Look at their faces. This isn’t bravado. This is resolve.”

Clarkus Kentus:
“The Cummings Twins know exactly what this match means. Lose… and it’s over.”

They slide into the ring, take off their jackets in unison, and stare across at the Sweethearts — calm, dangerous, united.

(Referee signals for the teams to clear their corners as tension hangs heavy in the air.)

J.R. Holland:
“One team walks out with a title shot.”

Clarkus Kentus:
“And one team walks out of HCW… for good.”

(Bell about to ring.)

The bell rings and the tension is immediate. With ‘Honest’ Abe officiating, both teams know there are no second chances tonight — one pinfall decides not just the match, but their future in HCW.

The All-American Sweethearts waste no time asserting themselves. Ainsley America opens aggressively, targeting Betsy Cummings with sharp strikes and a sudden Glory Drop that buckles her knee. Ainsley stands tall afterward, saluting to a chorus of boos.

J.R. Holland
“Confidence is one thing, but this is about survival. The Sweethearts are treating it like a celebration already.”

The Cummings Twins answer back with grit. Betsy snaps Ainsley down with a leaping snapmare and tags in Felicia Cummings, who immediately grounds the match, wrenching Belle into a tight front facelock and forcing the Sweethearts to actually wrestle instead of posture.

Momentum swings back and forth as both teams tag frequently, neither willing to let the other isolate a partner for long. Leepurty Belle shows surprising grit, using speed and taunts to frustrate Felicia, while Betsy repeatedly breaks up rhythm with stiff knee strikes and sudden counters.

Clarkus Kentus
“The longer this goes, the more dangerous it becomes. Exhaustion makes mistakes inevitable.”

Late in the match, chaos erupts. Both teams break into double-team sequences, cutting the ring in half and pushing ‘Honest’ Abe to his limits as he struggles to maintain order. The Sweethearts nearly steal it with a Patriot Plex, but Felicia dives in at the last second to save the match.

The end comes suddenly.

As the Cummings Twins attempt one last surge, a split-second miscue leaves Felicia vulnerable. Leepurty Belle capitalizes, snapping her down with the Sweet Tea Snapmare, rolling through seamlessly into the cover.

ONE. TWO. THREE.

The bell rings.

WINNERS — AND NEW #1 CONTENDERS

THE ALL-AMERICAN SWEETHEARTS

Ainsley America and Leepurty Belle roll out of the ring, leaping into each other’s arms and celebrating like conquering heroes. They pose, salute, and soak in the boos as if they were cheers.

Inside the ring, the realization hits.

Felicia Cummings stares up at the lights. Betsy pulls her to a seated position, both women breathing hard, neither speaking.

J.R. Holland
“This is it. There are no appeals. No rematches. This stipulation was absolute.”

Slowly, the Twins rise to their feet and turn toward the crowd — and that’s when the chant begins.

“Na na na na…
Na na na na…
Hey hey hey…
Goodbye.”

The sound grows louder with every step they take. Betsy shouts back at the fans, flipping them off in defiance. Felicia shakes her head, jaw clenched, refusing to let them see the disappointment.

They slide out of the ring and walk up the ramp together, not looking back.

On the stage, the Sweethearts stop celebrating just long enough to wave mockingly.

Clarkus Kentus
“Like them or not, the All-American Sweethearts just punched their ticket to the Iron Maidens Tag Team Championship.”

The camera lingers on the Cummings Twins one last time as they disappear behind the curtain — their HCW chapter officially closed.

The show moves forward.

BACKSTAGE — LADIES WORLD CHAMPION INTERVIEW

The camera cuts backstage where Candace Hart stands beside the new HCW Ladies World Champion, Scarlett Howl. The championship rests proudly over her shoulder, still gleaming from its recent victory. Scarlett is composed, confident, and very aware of the target now on her back.

Candace Hart:
“Scarlett Howl, you walked into Zero Hour with the weight of expectation — and walked out as the new Ladies World Champion. How does it feel standing here tonight with that title on your shoulder?”

Scarlett adjusts the championship slightly and smirks.

Scarlett Howl:
“It feels earned.  I didn’t steal this. I didn’t fluke it. I took it.”

She looks directly into the camera.

Scarlett Howl:
“And now everyone in that locker room knows exactly where they stand.”

Before Candace can ask another question, a slow clap echoes from off-camera.

The camera pans.

Veronica Flame steps into frame, unapologetic, eyes locked on the championship.

J.R. Holland (voice-over)
“Well… this didn’t take long.”

Veronica doesn’t look at Candace. She doesn’t look at the camera. She looks only at Scarlett.

Veronica Flame:
“Enjoying the view?”

Scarlett turns slightly, squaring up.

Scarlett Howl:
“If you’ve got something to say, say it.”

Veronica smiles — sharp, confident.

Veronica Flame:
“I just wanted to remind you of something.  I beat you once.”

The smile fades.

Veronica Flame:
“And if I did it before… I can do it again.”

Scarlett steps closer, nose to nose.

Scarlett Howl:
“That was then.  This is now.”

Veronica glances at the title.

Veronica Flame:
“Good.  Because now I’m coming for that.”

Security starts to move in as the tension spikes.

Candace Hart:
“Alright, that’s enough—”

Veronica backs away on her own, never breaking eye contact.

Veronica Flame:
“Hold onto it tight, champ.”

She turns and walks off.

Scarlett watches her go, then looks back into the camera — unfazed.

Scarlett Howl:
“She wants a fight?  She knows where to find me.”

The camera fades out as Scarlett adjusts the championship on her shoulder, unbothered but alert.

TONY CALIBUR:

“The following contest is scheduled for one fall…
and it is for the HCW United States Championship!”

The lights dim to a cold blue hue as a slow, grinding beat hits — “No Flag to Follow” by Iron Verdict. Evan Stockwell steps onto the stage first, jaw set, eyes flat, carrying himself like a man who believes the championship already belongs to him.

A half-step behind him walks Ruth Heartless, calm and calculating, never breaking stride. She doesn’t acknowledge the crowd — she studies the ring like a chessboard.

J.R. Holland:
“Evan Stockwell doesn’t see this as an opportunity. He sees it as a correction.”

Clarkus Kentus:
“And Ruth Heartless makes sure those corrections are permanent.”

Stockwell pauses at the base of the ramp, rolling his shoulders, staring into the ring as if daring the champion to arrive. Ruth leans in, whispers something unheard, and Stockwell smirks before sliding under the bottom rope.

The arena lights brighten as “Stand Your Ground” by Northern Anthem hits. The crowd rises as Owen Zestwell steps onto the stage, the United States Championship strapped proudly around his waist.

He pauses, takes it in — not soaking in adulation, but grounding himself. Owen taps the title once, then points toward the ring.

Clarkus Kentus:
“This is his first defense as champion… and there’s no easing into it.”

J.R. Holland:
“Tonight, Owen Zestwell finds out exactly what it means to be hunted.”

Owen walks with purpose, slapping a few hands, eyes never leaving Stockwell. He steps through the ropes, climbs the turnbuckles briefly, and raises the championship high as the crowd responds.

He hops down, unstraps the title, and hands it to ‘Honest’ Abe, who raises it for all to see before handing it off at ringside.

(Referee signals for both competitors to clear their corners.)

J.R. Holland:
“Champion. Challenger.”

Clarkus Kentus:
“And no place to hide.”

(Bell about to ring.)

The bell rings with ‘Honest’ Abe watching closely, and Owen “Orange Fury” Zestwell immediately asserts himself, using speed and precision to keep Evan Stockwell off balance. Owen peppers him with quick strikes and leg drops, never giving the challenger a chance to settle.

J.R. Holland:
“Owen Zestwell understands this moment. This is about proving the championship belongs around his waist.”

Stockwell absorbs the early offense and answers with brute force, driving Owen into the turnbuckles and tossing him with raw strength. The match shifts as Stockwell slows the pace, grinding Owen down and forcing him to fight from underneath.

Clarkus Kentus:
“Stockwell doesn’t need flash — he just needs leverage, and he’s finding it.”

At ringside, Ruth Heartless begins to insert herself subtly, pointing out weaknesses and barking instructions. Her presence distracts Owen just long enough for Stockwell to land a crushing dropkick and seize control.

Owen battles back with heart, locking in the Orange Squeeze, forcing Stockwell to scramble and fight his way free. The champion refuses to stay down, answering power with resilience and catching Stockwell with sudden bursts of offense that bring the crowd to life.

J.R. Holland:
“This is where champions are made — when the challenger won’t go away.”

The two trade momentum relentlessly. Stockwell hammers Owen with punishing throws and cinches in the Hostile Takeover, wrenching back with everything he has. Owen grits his teeth, muscles his way free, and stumbles back to his feet, refusing to tap.

Clarkus Kentus:
“He’s emptying the tank, but Owen Zestwell is still standing.”

Ruth shouts from ringside as Stockwell looks for one final opening, but Owen counters with desperation and instinct. He fires off a devastating Orange Juicer, nearly putting Stockwell away, but the challenger barely kicks out.

The crowd rises as Owen pulls Stockwell back up, hooks him, and drives him down hard with the Jersey Driver, rolling straight into the cover.

ONE.
TWO.
THREE.

WINNER AND STILL HCW UNITED STATES CHAMPION

OWEN “ORANGE FURY” ZESTWELL

‘Honest’ Abe calls for the bell and raises Owen’s hand as the crowd erupts. Owen drops to a knee, breathing heavily, clutching the championship as if to confirm it’s real.

J.R. Holland:
“That’s how you answer the first question of your reign.”

At ringside, Ruth Heartless seethes, pulling Evan Stockwell out of the ring before he can do further damage. Stockwell glares back at the ring, frustration etched across his face, knowing how close he came.

In the ring, Owen climbs to the second rope and raises the U.S. Title high, nodding to the fans. He doesn’t gloat. He doesn’t celebrate wildly.

He simply stands there — champion proven, target confirmed.

Clarkus Kentus:
“Owen Zestwell survived his first defense… and that just made him more dangerous.”

The camera lingers on the champion as the show moves on, the shadow of War Games growing ever closer.

IN-RING SEGMENT — “THE TRUTH HURTS”

The arena lights dim as brash, aggressive music hits. The crowd erupts in boos as Truth Wayne struts onto the stage, microphone already in hand, grinning like a man who knows exactly how much damage he’s about to cause.

He steps into the ring, soaking it in.

Truth Wayne:
“Columbia, South Carolina… welcome to The Truth Hurts!”

Boos rain down. Truth laughs.

Truth Wayne:
“Oh, don’t get mad at me — I’m not the one who lost control of HCW. I’m just the guy brave enough to say it out loud.”

He paces the ring.

Truth Wayne:
“All night long, we’ve watched pieces move off the board.
Yeti? Gone home.
Feral? Followed him.
Wilber Townsend? Sent north on an errand run.”

Truth stops and looks into the hard camera.

Truth Wayne:
“So tell me something, HCW…
doesn’t that feel less like retreat…
and more like victory formation?”

The boos intensify.

Truth smiles wider.

Truth Wayne:
“And that brings me to my guest.
The architect.
The emperor.
The man who doesn’t just play chess — he flips the board.”

He turns toward the stage.

Truth Wayne:
“Let’s ask the man who believes he already owns the answer.
Ladies and gentlemen… Count Vlad Dragomir.”

Crimson light washes over the stage as Count Vlad Dragomir emerges, calm and composed. He walks with the measured certainty of a ruler attending his own coronation. He enters the ring without acknowledging Truth, removing his coat slowly before taking the microphone.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“You speak of confidence as though it were arrogance.”

Vlad surveys the crowd.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“What you mistake for overreach… is completion.”

The crowd boos.

Truth Wayne:
“Completion, huh?
Because from where I’m standing, it looks like HCW is still breathing.”

Vlad smiles thinly.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“Breathing is not living, Truth Wayne.
It is merely the body realizing resistance is pointless.”

Truth raises his eyebrows theatrically.

Truth Wayne:
“Then let’s stop dancing around it.
When do you make it official?
When do you announce that HCW belongs to the Dark Dominion?”

Vlad lifts the microphone… then pauses.

He turns toward the stage.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“Why announce conquest alone…
when conquest was achieved together?”

The crowd buzzes.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“Max McGillicutty.
Korbi Kong.
Jack Lumber.”

Vlad gestures outward.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“Join me.”

A beat.

Then the arena explodes in a chorus of boos as Max McGillicutty steps onto the stage. He doesn’t rush. He doesn’t pose. He walks with purpose. Korbi Kong follows — still wearing the Empress Championship, expression unreadable. Finally, Jack Lumber emerges, Dominion cloak draped across his shoulders.

They enter the ring and stand beside Vlad.

Vlad spreads his arms slightly.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“You see, Truth Wayne… this is loyalty.
This is evolution.”

Vlad turns to Max.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“You were wise enough to understand that resistance only delays the inevitable.”

Vlad extends and Max takes the microphone.

The crowd quiets.

Max McGillicutty:
“You’re right about one thing, Vlad.”

Vlad nods, satisfied.

Max McGillicutty:
“Resistance does delay the inevitable.”

Max turns slightly, looking out at the crowd.

Max McGillicutty:
“That’s why we didn’t resist you.”

Vlad’s smile flickers.

Max McGillicutty:
“We studied you.”

The crowd erupts.

Max McGillicutty:
“We let you believe your shadows were safe.
We let you believe your system was perfect.”

Max steps closer to Vlad.

Max McGillicutty:
“But while you were ruling through fear…
we were learning how it works.”

Vlad’s expression hardens.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“Careful, Max.”

Korbi steps forward.

She lifts the Empress Championship… and drops it at Vlad’s feet.

The sound echoes.

Korbi Kong:
“I didn’t fall to the Dominion. I walked into it.”

She gestures around the ring.

Korbi Kong:
“You can’t destroy power like this from the outside.
You have to feel how it pulls.
How it convinces you it’s right.”

Korbi locks eyes with Vlad.

Korbi Kong:
“And now I know exactly where it breaks.”

The crowd roars.

Jack steps forward slowly.

He reaches up… and tears the Dominion cloak from his shoulders, throwing it to the mat.

Jack Lumber:
“You thought I was lost.”

Jack shakes his head.

Jack Lumber:
“No.  I was learning.”

He looks at Vlad.

Jack Lumber:
“Like Luke Skywalker walking into the dark believing he could master it long enough to destroy it…
we joined you because it was the only way to see your weakness.”

Jack glances to the crowd.

Jack Lumber:
“And the pull was real.”

He breathes out.

Jack Lumber:
“But so were the voices that never stopped calling us back.”

Korbi nods.

Korbi Kong:
“We didn’t escape the darkness.”

Jack Lumber:
“We mapped it.”

Max steps between them.

Max McGillicutty:
“And now that we know its shape…”

All three turn toward Vlad.

Max McGillicutty:
“…we end it.”

Vlad finally snaps — not in rage, but in disbelief.

J.R. Holland:
“He didn’t see it coming.”

Truth Wayne quietly slips out of the ring, shaking his head.

Truth Wayne:
“I stand corrected…”

Chaos begins to build as the crowd erupts.

Clarkus Kentus:
“This wasn’t an interview. This was a coronation… turned execution.”

The camera stays tight on Count Vlad Dragomir.

For a long moment, he says nothing.

His jaw tightens.
His breathing changes — subtle, but unmistakable.

He looks down at the Empress Championship still lying at his feet.

Slowly… deliberately… Vlad bends down and picks it up.

He straightens.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“You speak of betrayal…”

His voice is calm — too calm.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“But betrayal implies surprise.”

He turns his gaze toward Max McGillicutty, Korbi Kong, and Jack Lumber — not angry yet… measuring.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“What you have done is not treason.”

A pause.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“It is war.”

The crowd erupts.

Vlad takes a step closer.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“You believe you have wounded the Dominion.”

Another step.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“You believe the shadows have thinned.”

He smiles — but it doesn’t reach his eyes.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“The Dominion does not end because a few stars fall from its sky.”

His tone sharpens.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“It responds.”

Vlad turns, raising his voice to the arena.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“HCW has made its choice.”

He gestures broadly.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“And now it will pay for it.”

For the first time, Vlad’s composure cracks — just slightly.
His hand trembles as he tightens his grip on the championship.

He catches it.

Controls it.

But the camera sees it.

J.R. Holland:
“That’s the first time we’ve seen him lose absolute control.”

Vlad steps back, straightens his coat, and turns toward the ropes.  Before exiting, he stops.  He looks back once more at the three standing in the ring.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“You wanted the truth?”

A thin smile.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“The Dominion remembers.”

He exits the ring, Dark Dominion members regrouping around him — fewer than before, noticeably so.

As Vlad walks up the ramp, the camera lingers on his face.

Not defeated.

But no longer unshakable.

Clarkus Kentus:
“For the first time… the cracks are visible.”

The camera cuts back to Max, Korbi, and Jack, standing tall — but fully aware of what they’ve just unleashed.

The cage looms above the ring.

WAR GAMES awaits.

TRANSITION — THE CAGE DESCENDS

The lights dim as the massive War Games cage begins to lower from the rafters. Steel groans. Chains rattle. The crowd rises to its feet.

J.R. Holland:
“There it is.”

Clarkus Kentus:
“Two rings. One cage. Once it comes down… there’s no walking away.”

The cage settles into place with a thunderous clang, enclosing both rings. No escape routes. No shortcuts.

The arena suddenly goes dark.

THE OMEGATRON flickers to life.

A dimly lit chamber appears — not the grand Dominion hall, but something more private. Closer. Count Vlad Dragomir stands in shadow, his face half-lit, eyes burning.

Opposite him — unseen, off-camera.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“They believe I am exposed.”

A pause.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“They mistake revelation for victory.”

Vlad turns slightly, his voice low and venomous.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“The Dominion does not retreat when challenged.”

Another pause. A faint, humorless smile.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“It answers… with blood.”

He leans closer to whoever he’s addressing.

Count Vlad Dragomir:
“Tonight is not the end.
Tonight is instruction.”

The screen glitches — then cuts to black.

The crowd roars.

J.R. Holland:
“He’s already planning the next strike.”

Clarkus Kentus:
“And that means War Games is only the beginning.  What comes next could be a lot worse.”

TONY CALIBUR:

“Ladies and gentlemen… the following contest is WAR GAMES!”

The crowd explodes.

THE ALBANO MAFIA ENTRANCE

Dark, pulsing music hits — “Blood Oath Syndicate” by Grave Accord. The atmosphere shifts instantly.

Dirty Dick Albano steps out first, sneering.
Then Vicious Vinnie Albano, cracking his neck.
Salvatore Albano follows, jaw clenched.
Tony Albano stalks out next, eyes locked on the cage.

Finally — the music pauses.

A beat.

Then Aldo Albano emerges.

The crowd reacts loudly — shock, boos, disbelief.

Clarkus Kentus:
“Aldo Albano… back in HCW, and back for War Games.”

The five men stand together at the top of the ramp — a wall of malice and bloodline. They don’t rush. They don’t pose.

They walk.

As one.

They reach the cage, each man stepping through a different door, spreading out between the two rings, staring outward — waiting.

J.R. Holland:
“This is not a team. This is a vendetta.”

TEAM MARCONI ENTRANCE

The lights shift.

A powerful, defiant theme hits — “Legacy Forged in Stone” by Iron Province.

Dominic Marconi steps onto the stage first, jaw set, eyes blazing.
Rolf Marconi joins him, nodding once.

Then Lou Albano appears — not backing the family name, but standing against it.

Tony Ricca steps out next, rolling his shoulders, eyes never leaving the cage.

Finally… the crowd erupts as Duke Knight emerges.

J.R. Holland:
“Duke Knight — cleared, focused, and stepping straight into the fire.”

The five men line up at the stage, exchanging brief looks. No speeches. No theatrics.

They march to the ring.

Each man enters the cage deliberately, staring down their counterparts as they take their positions across the two rings.

Clarkus Kentus:
“This is legacy versus legacy.”

J.R. Holland:
“And once the doors close… there are no rules left to hide behind.”

The referee checks both rings as the tension becomes unbearable.

The cage doors slam shut.

The crowd is on its feet.

WAR GAMES IS READY TO BEGIN.

WAR GAMES — TEAM MARCONI vs. THE ALBANO MAFIA

The doors slam shut and the sound echoes through both rings. Steel. Finality.

‘Honest’ Abe stands between the rings, eyes wide, knowing control is an illusion now.

J.R. Holland:
“This isn’t a match anymore. This is inheritance… and bloodletting.”

The opening collision is violent and immediate. Dominic Marconi and Dirty Dick Albano crash into one another like two men who have waited their entire lives for this moment. Dominic powers Dick backward, crushing him in a bearhug, squeezing the air from his lungs as the crowd roars approval.

Dick claws, elbows, fights — refusing to submit — and when he finally breaks free, he answers with a vicious knee strike that snaps Dominic’s head back and sends him stumbling into the steel.

Clarkus Kentus:
“This is personal in a way championships could never be.”

Dominic wisely tags out, bringing in Duke Knight, and the energy shifts instantly.

Duke Knight explodes into the match with speed the Albano Mafia isn’t prepared for — dropkicks, slingshot offense, relentless movement between rings. When Lou Albano III joins him, the moment that changes the entire match happens.

Lou sprints, launches, and dives from one ring to the other, crashing into Dick Albano with a flying clothesline that brings the entire arena to its feet.

HOLY SH*T!

J.R. Holland:
“Lou Albano just erased decades of family allegiance with that dive!”

The Albano Mafia responds the only way they know how — eye gouges, cheap shots, dragging Duke across the canvas like prey — until the returning Aldo Albano enters and immediately makes his presence felt.

Duke Knight refuses to slow down.

He launches into a shooting star press — once — then again — soaring above the cage, landing flush, sending Aldo reeling. When Aldo answers with a cross-ring diving clothesline, bodies collide midair and the crowd loses its mind.

THIS IS AWESOME!
THIS IS AWESOME!

Clarkus Kentus:
“This isn’t strategy anymore — this is pride throwing itself into the void!”

Dominic returns, unloading power forearms, flattening Aldo in a punishing double-team sequence before the chaos expands across both rings.

Then comes the emotional center of the war.

Lou Albano III stands toe-to-toe with Vicious Vinnie Albano — bloodline versus bloodline. Lou dominates early, hurling Vinnie between rings, hammering him with powerbombs, big boots, and brutal head-first slams.

Vinnie kicks out. Again. And again.

J.R. Holland:
“Vinnie Albano doesn’t know how to quit — only how to endure.”

When Lou goes for another pin, Dirty Dick Albano dives in to save it — barely — keeping the Mafia alive by instinct alone.

What follows is chaos at its most unhinged.

Team Marconi swarms Vinnie — forearms, elbows, flying strikes — four men dismantling one. Vinnie answers with a desperation superkick that staggers Lou, reminding everyone why War Games is never truly under control.

The Albano Mafia retaliates in kind — Aldo, Tony, and Vinnie isolate Lou, planting him with a piledriver and suplex combination that leaves him sprawled and unmoving.

Clarkus Kentus:
“This is the danger of War Games — momentum doesn’t swing… it collapses.”

Vinnie staggers to his feet — exhausted, battered — and turns—

Straight into another Albano Powerbomb.

Lou lifts him again.

And again.

Then one final time — driving Vinnie down with authority, stacking him up, refusing to let him escape.

Dominic, Rolf, Duke and Tony rush over and take down the remaining Albanos.

ONE.
TWO.
THREE.

The bell rings — almost lost beneath the roar of the crowd.

WINNERS — TEAM MARCONI

Dominic Marconi, Rolf Marconi, Lou Albano III, Tony Ricca, and Duke Knight stand tall across both rings — bruised, bleeding, but united.

The cage looms overhead, scarred and unforgiving.

No one celebrates wildly.

They simply breathe.

J.R. Holland:
“They survived something that changes people.”

Lou Albano III looks down at Vicious Vinnie Albano, then away — not in triumph, but finality. A chapter closed the only way it ever could.

Around them, teammates help one another to their feet. Hands on shoulders. Nods exchanged. Quiet respect.

Clarkus Kentus:
“This wasn’t about winning.”

A pause.

Clarkus Kentus:
“This was about standing when it was over.”

The crowd rises — not roaring, but applauding. Sustained. Earned.

The camera pulls back slowly, capturing both rings inside the cage — warriors scattered, exhausted, human.

J.R. Holland:
“Some nights crown champions.”

Another beat.

J.R. Holland:
“Tonight tested who could endure.”

The cage remains.

The ring clears.

The war is finished.

And the show moves on — not louder…
but heavier.

The camera lingers on the empty rings inside the towering cage. Medical staff move quietly. Wrestlers are helped to the back. The crowd is still standing, applauding — not roaring, but respectful.

J.R. Holland:
“War Games doesn’t end with celebration.”

A beat.

J.R. Holland:
“It ends with reflection.”

The shot widens — the cage, the scars, the silence after chaos.

Clarkus Kentus:
“Tonight wasn’t about who stood tallest.”

Another pause.

Clarkus Kentus:
“It was about who could still stand at all.”

The arena lights begin to rise slowly — just enough to reveal the aftermath.

J.R. Holland:
“After everything we’ve witnessed tonight…”

She stops herself.

The lights do not fully come up.

The screen fades to black.

 BACKSTAGE

The black screen lingers for a half-second longer than usual.

Then—

The camera opens on a quiet backstage hallway — a stark contrast to the roaring Columbia crowd just beyond the curtains. The lighting is softer, more muted, like a reflective moment after a long and painful journey.

Jack Lumber walks slowly down the hallway, head low, moving gingerly. He’s still taped up from the Dominion War, bruised shoulders, busted lip — clearly not the invincible monster he once portrayed. The weight of everything he’s done hangs on him.

From off-screen, a small voice calls out:

Kid:
Mr. Lumber?

Jack stops. This is a voice he recognizes — because he barked at this kid on the very first show of 2025, during the turn and after the Dark Dominion had fully wrapped its claws around him.

Jack turns.

A young fan, maybe 10 or 11, stands there holding a homemade Jack Lumber sign. The same sign Jack shredded and threw aside back in January.

The kid looks nervous, but hopeful.

Kid (quietly):
I… I still think you’re awesome.

Jack’s jaw tightens. Shame hits him.

He kneels down slowly so he’s eye-to-eye.

Jack Lumber:
“Kid… I’m sorry.
Not just for that night.
For all of it.
This whole year, I’ve been lost in the woods.
And people like you — you deserved better.”

The kid swallows, taking in the sincerity.

He holds something out — not a drink like the Coca-Cola commercial, but a small action figure. A cheap Jack Lumber toy with the old red-and-black colors. It’s clearly been played with nonstop.

Kid:
I knew you’d come back.
I kept waiting for the real you to show up again.

Jack, already emotional, breathes in sharply.

He takes the toy carefully, as if it’s priceless.

Then, in a single gentle motion, Jack shifts, reaches behind his own shoulders, and pulls out something iconic:

His official Jack Lumber flannel.

Not the Dominion version.
Not the corrupted colors.

This is the original:
red, rugged, torn at the sleeves, stained from a year of war.

The symbol of the man he used to be — and who he is again.

Jack folds it once, then hands it to the kid.

Jack Lumber:
This…
belongs to you now.

The kid freezes — speechless.

Jack ruffles his hair just slightly, then stands up, wincing from the pain of a long year.

He starts to walk away.

The kid calls out:

Kid:
Hey, Jack!

Jack stops, turns back.

Kid (beaming):
You’re still my hero.

Jack smiles — a small, fragile, real smile.

Jack Lumber:
Thanks…
I needed that.

He gives a faint salute with two fingers and walks down the hallway toward the light of the arena.

Jack walking away, bruised but redeemed, and the kid hugging the flannel like it’s the most important thing in the world.

Fade to black.

Thank you for tuning in.  2025 has been a fantastic year and 2026 can only get better.

Tomorrow will be a look back at 2025 calling out highlights and acknowledging Match, Feud, and Wrestlers of the year.  Stay Tuned.
